Zero kept the pace, and made sure he didn't give Volnutt too much of his own weight. That thought nagged at him again, curiosity rising up again at the thought of X being involved in this. He knew this wouldn't be the X he's familiar with, but it would be a relief nonetheless. Familiar faces were a rare but welcome occurrence these days. He noticed Volnutt's strain and took more of his weight off of him. Despite the state of his arm, he didn't seem to notice it, at the very least it didn't bother him. He glanced down at Volnutt when he made that comment. 'Stray animal?' He let out a warm cackle at the funny mental image.

"No, no, you're right, I kind of am one." He added on as Volnutt backpedaled on his words. He didn't interrupt Volnutt anymore, letting him guide the two to.. wherever he was headed. Walking was slightly easier considering the dips in the grass were more forgiving than the uneven stone in the ruins. "Well, I'm glad things are working out. I'll just need some repairs, and I can be out of your hair."

In.. complete honesty, he wasn't sure where he was going to go afterwards. It's not like he can just leave this place. And... he didn't have any way to contact Master X... His memories trickled back in from where they were previously unreachable. Did he even want to see him right now?

The outside is a pleasant surprise to say the least after being stuck in the ruins for heavens know how long. It was brighter, the bright blue sky without a single cloud in sight, the ruins that are littered outside of the ruins being completely taken over by nature’s overgrowth, the oceanic breeze was incredibly fresh, as the sounds of the waves are heard, hearing the cry of the gulls as the birds fly off.

To say the least the view was pleasant to the say the least.

The boy winced at the heat of the wound, he didn’t knew if this was a sign of taking zero right away to the flutter to be treated or not but it’s an obvious sing more or less to have his friend treated as possible. The boy perked up of his friend’s words

“Oh! It’s fine don’t worry Zero, my folks are pretty cool, I mean I kinda tend to pick up stray injured animals to nurse them back to health— but I’m not saying that you’re a stray animal, it's that you're someone in need of help!” He exclaimed, adjusting himself of his hold to Zero still feeling the uncomfortable warmth.

“Plus of what you have, I think it’s for the best that my Dad and Sister patch you up since I don’t want to leave you alone with that injury ya know. The flutter isn’t too far. Plus my Dad wouldn’t mind you once I explained your situation and with the refractor that I got we don’t have to worry about losing power for a while!” He earnestly said. Goulding the crimson robot to where his home is

I absolutely LOVE @scaredtomst 's PT OC Maria Marinara! I love her simple yet adorable character design and she and Peppino are so cute together!
