To preface, I am not a writer or comic artist, this is really my first attempt at making a comic, so this is all very much a learning experience for me.

With that said, I do plan on just adding pages to this until it feels right so I don't know what the planned page count is as I'm still writing the rest. But I felt like it'd be a good proof of concept and a test of what I'm capable of outside of super big fancy illustrations. PLEASE provide any and all feedback in terms of the writing or paneling/text/colors/whatever. I would gladly work with any experienced writers or comic artists willing to donate some free time.

As for the comic itself, my plan for this is basically to make an as-close-to-canon look at the start of Charlie and Vaggie's relationship. Here, we find Vaggie waking up in a strange place after being picked up from the alley she was left in. Who or why would someone do this!? You know who, and you know why.

I'm going to try and make a new page once a week, maybe more if I'm feeling particularly un-lazy, or less if I'm in fact a horrible horrible creature. Hopefully now that I've done one page, the rest will get easier as I go on. Enjoy!

Some Chaggie for my TLK AU. Charlie has access to a lot of medical herbs in case someone needs help. In this AU she has her own garden.

She is no Mjuzi, but knows the basics.

Vaggie doesn't know what to think of the Princess at this moment. It has been a few days since she was exiled from the Heaven Pride and this lioness has only been nice to her. She is expecting a betrayal at any moment, but it doesnt happen.

The only thing Vaggie is certain is that she doesn't want to go back to the mountain.

And that the red skies from Hell and the ashes from the volcanoes feel more than home than ever.

I also wanted to use this comic to try and patch up some plot curiosities like "How did Charlie not realize sooner that Vaggie was an Angel?" and "How did she hide her wings, were there not scars?" so at least in my mind, angel wings are completely hidden when retracted! And future dialogue I have planned will hopefully portray Charlie as having a plausible reason to assume she's a sinner at first.
