One of the coolest facts I know is that, due to the effects of time dilation, a spacecraft continuously accelerating at 1G (9.81 m/s²) could cross the entire Milky Way galaxy—about 100,000 light-years wide—in just 12 years from the perspective of those onboard.

Another favorite fact of mine is about J1407b, also known as "Super Saturn." This ringed planet orbits the star V1400 Centauri and boasts a ring system approximately 640 times larger than Saturn’s. It has 37 rings, with a total radius extending 55 million miles. To put that into perspective, the distance from Earth to the Sun is 92 million miles. J1407b itself is between 10 and 40 times the size of Jupiter, and if it were located where Saturn is in our Solar System, its rings would dominate our sky. What’s even more astonishing is that J1407b’s mass is only about five times that of Earth, while Saturn is roughly 95 times Earth’s mass.

So here are some revamped stuff of the states (such as names, lore, and relationships). I will mention that tidbits of these things are from the new stuff I thought up for them, so think of this as a bit of an AU? I don't know. Anyways—

Massachusetts (Ben aka Benjamin) is a stubborn ass man. Will never ask for help unless he's on his knees and near death. He's just so used to doing things on his own before ending up with everyone else in this country. Towards Alfred, he acts like a stern father figure more than a brother. Also this man is so tired™ Has a resting bitch face 24/7. His relationship with Arthur? Eh, it gets better with age but the two get into petty arguments and then eventually you can't understand diddly squat about what they're saying.

New York (Nicholas) comes off as a big shot, cool guy...but he's a big nerd. Him and Ben are two stubborn bastards and sometimes won't get along for petty reasons. You can even ask any other state old enough to remember their disagreements during their younger years. He is also tired™ too but is better at hiding it. He used to date Grace (Virginia), so that's a oop—

Texas (Rogelio) is a triplet (according to what I put in my notes for his changes and such) with Coahuila (Ignacio) and Nuevo Leon (Berto) and sometimes visits them. He has always loved the aesthetic and romance of cowboys. Like Nicholas, he seems like a big shot and tough guy, but he's also a nerd. He also values friendship and has ties with other countries.

Random, but Nebraska (Knox) has been told how much he looks similar to Missouri (Darius) and he kinda lowkey hates that. Nothing against his brother, but...Darius tends to be a flake sometimes. But anyways, he works at a call center and his past is a little shaky. Despite he and Kansas (Vivienne) being twins, she looks younger than him. This is because Knox's physical age increased while hers remained the same during the Civil War due to population increase. He sometimes feels overshadowed by her, but he isn't bitter about it.

Oh yeah forgot to post about this but we have officially come out of Polar Night! Sunlight once more, hooray!

I know the dogs are definitely happy and I am too cause I won't have to as many of my Vitamin D tablets anymore. ^^;

But still, it is fun getting to live in the only US city to experience the complete polar night.
