I need to write that meta about how Goro's story being a horrible heartbreaking tragedy is a good thing and not a flaw but the entire point of the game because Not Getting That is one of the biggest things that annoys me about his stans. Just because it's sad doesn't make it bad. Tragedy isn't inherently bad writing. Something can be awful and also beautiful and we can long for a happy ending for our boi while still acknowledging that the fact he didn't get it in canon was the whole point of his narrative and that narrative is so much stronger for it.
