I think people don't focus on a very important point when theyre talking about hisoillu's possible deaths. One of them being that as much as Hisoka and Illumi want to live and wont go down without a fight, they both will NOT allow the other to die to anyone else.

This was mainly demonstrated multiple times by Hisoka. Other than the fact that he's generally possessive over his toys and Illumi is one of his toys, Illumi is also THE highest ranking toy in Hisoka's toybox. This was proven when he was willing to sacrifice both Gon and Killua, also two of his highest ranking toys, just to stop Nanika from killing Illumi and getting to fight Illumi himself. Aka, he wasn't about to let someone else take Illumi from him.

While the idea itself is fucked up, it is also a form of love that only Hisoka is capable of. Which brings us to the second and most recent point, this panel.

I dont think I really need to explain anything here lol. He explicitly stated that he wants to love someone to death one on one. And he loves Illumi. like. i feel like this is common sense but i dont know if people realize how intentional each second of a show/movie is. like whether the show is a silly sitcom or a serious drama everything is so intentional and purposeful. of course theres always continuity errors and mistakes that happen when you’re creating a show of that size thats been running for so long but for the most part everything has its intentions. its why you see certain themes come back again and again. im not gonna get into outfit meta or anything like that because its not really my wheelhouse but i did learn a lot about camera techniques and im a writer so. yeah.

shots are one of the most important aspects of a movie or a tv show. they set the mood. close up shots convey intensity and emotion while more wide shots establish a scene etc. they gave us a lot of close up shots of eddie’s face in the kim and eddie scene at the end of 7x09 because it was an intense moment for eddie as a character for example. you have to get the shot right to convey what you want your audience to see yknow.

Long Ramble about CCCC and my overall feelings on what the album means and such

Something I find important about CCCC is like.

The fact that all three of them are, in some way, trying.

Heart is emotion, he is prone to himself and being reactionary, in the moment. Prone to the past of learned behavior and trauma. Reactive and rapidly changing. He isn't going to make pure sense because he isn't based in logic or in societal ideals or views. He is an instinctual response to the environment and circumstances. His manipulation is not intentional. He has very little control of himself in the end. Its why Mind talks about claiming to relish entropy yet clearly needing help. But, Heart in earnest wants them to be okay and safe. He believes that Mind's control will drain the life from them. It will make things monotonous and the same. Too much order.

Mind in turn, believes Heart is manipulative with intention. He wants to control Soul or wants to just drag them all down with him into this depressive state. Mind is logic, he is the reasoning out of your emotional instinct. Your inner critique, and when unchecked, that inner critique goes from a guiding hand for your emotion to one that debates and bullies it. Invalidating its responses. Ultimately, though. Mind just believes he is helping. He is doing what must be done and telling the "hard truths" to Heart. And that Heart is being the petty child. Which- I mean. Sort of sure. But Mind is definitely fucking petty and childish. He's stubborn! Prideful! So ofc he is. Admitting you're wrong? No.. why would he EVER do that.. nuh uh.

Which is what makes Light so crucial. Mind asking Heart for help- but also. There is Soul.

Who while ambiguous in purpose, is mostly that background voice. Your inner narration. If Mind is Logic and Reason then Heart is Emotion and Instinct,, Soul is all that lives between it. And he is constantly silenced or spoken over or around. He does not get a word in edgewise until TSE. He may show up in the background occasionally but as much as Heart and Mind claim to want to keep him alive and help him, they also fail to actually acknowledge what he says.

Which is that they both are right and wrong. That this fighting is doing directly what they both feared it would. Soul is desperate by the end. He is angry and resentful because.. well. Self hatred due to intense self awareness and reflection is rather ig. Common. Im not a professional here but from personal experience, you get so tired of rehashing the same shit with yourself over and over. It all feels pointless.

The only out, by the end of it all to Soul is that if they cannot be Whole, whats the point? He is desperate. He does not want to die but he feels theres no other solution.

And. About Whole, Soul throughout the album seems to want that. At the beginning, to be Whole or Harmonious is to be mentally healthy, maybe even "normal" by society's standards. To be able to put a mask over your problems and be, again, "normal". It takes the entire album for Soul to realize that this:

1. isnt possible

And

2. There isn't anything evil or wrong with him for that.

Mental health is a struggle. But you are not evil and should not be othered because you struggle. You also do not need to be fixed for being a little different and people's opinion of you is not what matters most so long as you are happy (and not hurting others. Lol).

Thats what Two Wuv is entirely about as a song. Its a "fuck you. Fuck this! I thought I needed to be this! But I DON'T. Stop telling me who I am! How to be! I'm gonna be me!"

His entire arc is parallel to Heart and Mind's and is crucial in the culmination of becoming yourself again and accepting yourself.

But, as mental health will always be, this period of respite and self acceptance is not always forever. And as life continues or as you lapse back into a depressive episode.. you cannot help but forget what it is like when you're not this way- and hell! Vice versa too! Some people have this disconnect between the periods. Where the things from the depressive state seem dramatic or obtuse to you while you are doing better. And from the other end, you just want to be happy again.. but you get so lost in it all you can struggle to feel like you've ever been happy.

The album is about the human experience. It is about self-sabotage, mental illness, self-hatred and reflection and it is, maybe more importantly about self-acceptance and healing. Having a bit of mercy on yourself. Accepting that you are imperfect and that this is okay. And whatever flaws you may have that need to be mended or worked on, can be. And that who you are, for example, if you are queer, is okay. And no one has the right to take that identity from you! That the internalized ideas of how someone should be are not always correct or right. Not for you, at least. Stuff like that.

hi. you did not ask for it but i feel inclined to share with you some bits and pieces of indycar lore.

-georgina. georgina is a mannequin that hangs on a bridge at barber motorsports park, one of the tracks we race at, during the 2024 race there she fell down in the middle of the race and onto the track, a driver ran her wrist over and shredded it, the safety team loaded her up into the back of their truck, and later the driver who hit her (scott mclaughlin) posted a photo of him holding her hand up.

-will power ‘double birds’. it’s self explanatory, will power is a menace in the purest form of the word, and he is NOT afraid to flip off fellow drivers or, most famously, race control.

-the firestone firehawk, aka murderhawk. highly loved by fans and drivers, the mascot for firestone tires (which is what indycar uses) who is always at indycar races, frequently seen looming ominously around whoever they can get their hands on, hence the nickname murderhawk.

-bus bros. cannot even begin to explain the depths of lore here but im sure someone would be happy to. once a youtube series and friendship between drivers and teammates scott mclaughlin and josef newgarden (highly recommend watching the videos, very funny) it ended rather abruptly after rumors about their demise had been circulating, teammates who once hugged after every race win won’t even sit beside each other anymore.

-the AMR safety team. that’s all. they are amazing and we love them, SO fast and incredible, if nobody got me ik the AMR safety team got me!

-santino ferrucci. we all hate the guy, hes an absolute asshole, homophobic, racist, etc. most recently he put hands on a driver and then called said driver’s teammate his ‘little boyfriend teammate’. there’s a video of it on indycar’s youtube channel called ‘tempers flare between santino ferrucci and kyle kirkwood’ if you’re curious.

-arrow mclaren curse. this team is just… something.. their drivers have good personalities, but oh my! is the team itself horrifying! and this year we had 4(?) 5(?) drivers that all had the same seat! obviously at different times but it was Scary.

-we all love the month of may. the indy 500 is held in may, which brings a whole month of celebration and racing, from the indy gp, to parades to practice to qualifying to so many other events to the 500 itself, it’s an amazing month full of so much energy i cannot even begin to describe.

-bus lot pranks. speaking of the indy 500, during may, the drivers live in a bus lot at IMS, in their fancy RV’s, it’s like a frat house, which obviously leads to pranks, my personal favorite is when they filled conor daly’s hot tub with orbeez.

-it’s also important to note that indycar is small, the community is small, the drivers frequently interact with fans both in person and online, which is great! but it also means watch what you say because there’s a very high chance a driver will see it, our series is welcoming and non toxic! we want to keep it that way. 

-david’s bike. david malukas signed for arrow mclaren, but never actually got to race for them because he broke his wrist biking. he frequently makes jokes about it as he is very chronically online. he is also dubbed lil dave, that has nothing to do with his bike i just thought it was important.

-the milk gimp.. an absolutely terrifying indy 500 ad from 2014.

-the hate cauldron. back in 2022 three andretti drivers all made contact with each other during a race, which led to chaos, thus the birth of the hate cauldron, theres a video of it on here somewhere, and also when it was reborn this year!

doesn’t even scratch the surface, i’m just running out of brain power here, also a team got raided by the fbi this year.

oh and indycar’s youtube channel has tons of full races posted, they’re currently uploading the ones from this year, i recommend watching the 2016 indy 500, and i’m sure people would be happy to share their fav races to watch !!

Omg y'all THIS has been the reading we've all been waiting for😭🙌🏻🙌🏻😂 i swear i couldn't stop gasping and tacking a moment after each card to gather myself cuz WTF IS ALL THIS😂😳🫣 yk i did a tea/vent reading with changbin a few weeks ago and i thought its gonna be a banger but we couldn't get one "bad word" out of his mouth - he wasn't serving AT ALL😤 and i got a bit discouraged to continue the series but im so happy i did and did it with CHAN cuz my guys's spilling so much😂 tbh idk what i think of it all and if i agree, in fact i was quite shocked at a few cuz i really did bot expect such answers and i pulled several cards as confirmation and it all pointed painfully obvious to what the first card was already showing. So im just gonna start and ya'll are gonna see foe yourselfs😂

Oh also my tea series was initially not really meant to be focused on the group but more in general but at least with the last reading with changbin i found it difficult to take such a vast field of topics and distill it so if you have suggestions on what else they could have things to vent about or tea to spill send ask. Lee Know

I was SHOCKED but he kinda thinks of him as a bit of a dumbo. Not in the sense that he really is stupid but to Chan it looks like he's just a bit out of it and there's a vibe of a whole geoup laughing about a joke that lee know doesn't get, and not necessarily cuz he's stupid, its just he doesn't care to get it😂😭 this baffles him and im actually seeing a similar energy with him regarding lee know as i did with changbin in the previous reading where Chan just feels a bit weirded out by lee know at times and just sometimes gets annoyed cuz he just doesn't understand him. Yk how people are disgusted/scared by spider no reason? This is something similar, it just icks him how he cant understand lee know. He accepts it tho, more than changbin for sure. And im feeling that its actually even charming to him sometimes. Im hearing "a genius dumbo". So yeah, they're very different apparently, and to chan lee know just seems way waaayyy out of the circle, way above it all, way to out of it and he doesn't even want to get in and that BAFFLES him so much!

Changbin

This one's not hot at all, im seeing this pile along with felix's being the most melow ones. So I see that chan really sees changbin as his equal, possibly the only guy in the group he sees as one. Not in the way that others are below him but rather he's to the same level of matureness, toughness, headspace etc according to him (not that i agree😂). He views him as a bro and really enjoys spending time with him and "talking like men" or whatever its called😂 im actually seeing them going out for drinks or having late night talks with some strong alcohol (although im not really seeing chan drinking very hard i think the alcohol's more for changbin to loosen his tongue and for both of them to feel like adult men😂🙌🏻) Also another thing thats coming up which made me laugh is that chan thinks changbins bad at love and always has bad luck in it (and is kinda a simp) and he(cb) should learn a thing or two from him(chan). This gives me such huge sleepover vibes i live it so much - all of chans readings have that feeling to it and im always giggling when reading his energy😂💗 So yeah im also seeing them having lots of chats about women too🌝 and...sex👀👀👀 but for that i think it needs to be a bit deeper in the night and the bottle should be close to empty for that conversation to open. But it does, pretty often (not often like every other day but often only within their "meetings" so if they have a hangout every other months, and have had 6 this year, in 4 out of 6 this conversation happens - thats what i mean by often).

Hyunjin

Fo hyunjin he thinks he's very impulsive and very pushy but on the inside(?). He also thinks he's very appreciation hungry and attention greedy. Not attention whore-y tho (contrary to han), but rather ifjgkkf like someone who lives for the applause. Someone who's a performer. Not only on stage but also in private. I think he thinks that hyunjin's actually a bit insecure (not the kind of looks-insecurity, but the primal one like having security in your own being and the person who you are, having trust that you got ur own back) and that he's compensating that insecurity with others validation and admiration. And if he doesn't get that or feels like he doesn't he gets spiky/prickly. And thats where his impulsivity comes up and where this pushy energy happens. He may behave normal on the outside but on the inside he's going crazy and thinking of all the ways he can fix that and if you spend time with him long enough you begin to see that eagerness and spikiness - according to chan.

Han

According to chan he's pretty isolated and a tad bit odd. Probably thats why he gets along with lee know the best. He's also a bit infantile in chans eyes, like an annoying 12 year old fortnite little cousing that spits when he speaks and knows now personal space. Not saying hans like that - just creating a vibe to describe how he feels to chan sometimes😂 idk if nuisance is the right word but im getting the feeling that when 3racha's doing their thing, hans kind of the odd one out and he can see that han wants to belong and tries to but chan feels like he's that little cousin that wants to hang out with the cool old bros and, yeah sometimes feels liek a bit of a nuisance i would say. Cuz chan does include him, when he maybe would not. I could see that being a theme during their time in the 4/4 dorms. And here's the part i mentioned above - i think chan might view han sometimes like an attention-wh*re, making a clown of himself, and embarrassing himself quite offten to appeal to them or maybe others he fancies and wants to impress. Another thing is, that as i said he might be a bit odd and at times overexcert his boundaries? Or have weird boundaries? Like he hates when people touch his blanket or he only has to wear orange socks and if someone put the laundry and forgot one of his sock and now only one's clean he gets really pissed over nothing - stuff of that sort.

Felix

I would say thats the only pile where he had nothing "bad" to say about him and i pulled 4 cards for him cuz there had to be something - but there wasn't so i guess chan really really likes Felix and holds him in very high regards☺️ he thinks that he is muchs tronger than he looks and can defend himself and his loved ones very well. In fact i believe when chan saw this side of him he was really shocked because felix seems really sweet but when it comes to protecting what he loves he gets very fierce and that was very shocking to witness. Theres just admiration, admiration and more admiration in this reading he thinks felix has that royalty vibe to himself and really just has it all. Im getting a slight whiff of jealousy, but a friendly type of jealousy. Like he just thinks he's so amazing and sometime she wishes he were like that. He wishes he were as cool as him, as lighthearted as him, as bright and positive as him, he were as liked by him and i also feel like chan feels that stuff may often be just very effortless for felix and even if he's bad at something its still with grace. Theres this aura to felix that he can never do anything wrong and he just sometimes feels that felix has it too easy and must be really lucky or like gods favourite and thinks he must have really good karma for that.

Seungmin

He thinks seungmins too sharp and that his words hurt. Im also seeing lots of bickering...no actually fights. So either chan often gets the urge to just throw it all and start a fight with him or drop the manners and just tell him off - or they actually do that often. I do get the feeling that this is exaggerated in his head and that maybe to seungmin their fights aren't nearly as bad but once again i feel like chan might be holding back a lot and seungmin might'be much sharper and meaner for others than he thinks he is.

I.N

Finally the last one😮‍💨 he thinks he's a mamas boy and sees him still as a kid. That one's pretty obvious but to be honest i expected something else cuz im getting a much maturer energy from him, the other guys have said that too but still, here im getting that he's just a kid and doesnt know "of the real world", relies too much on mom and dad etc. Tbh i don't think thats the case😂 but rather that chans having a bit of a parent syndrom where he actaully feels like i.ns big bro or some sort of a parent figure or whatever and he literary watched him grow from a child to a man so i think that image of him from a few years back has stayed with chan and maybe its difficult for him to let go of that impression if i.n being still just a little kid being full of wonder, innocent and still dependant.

i like that we finally get to see what pushes alastors buttons in episode five.

we actually see him mad. you can argue that with vox hes also mad at the end of their song in 'stayed gone' but it doesnt really seem like that. its him threatening vox yes but in the end hes not mad. he isnt really losing his cool. its him basically just saying that hes still in charge

also throughout their whole song alastor doesnt really provoke vox, hes passive aggressive. never interrupting him and when their screens are split and he only pokes him once yet that one time was enough to send vox and black out the entirety of hell (although this mightve been alastor)

throughout the entiry of their song vox is constantly trying to block alastor to say 'he isnt a threat hes a nobody' but as we can see he's clearly failing. and as with each passing second vox gets more annoyed and as i said. he ends up causing a MASSIVE blackout one that takes over all of hell

throughout this entire time though alastor doesnt flinch. he doesnt fight for the spotlight because he doesnt need it. vox is making a fool of himself like alastor probably expects him to based on past encounters that we dont see.

yet with lucifer they probably have some sort of history.

alastor actually feels somewhat threatened/doesnt want lucifer there (whether if lilith told him not to assuming that he owes his soul to lilith but you get the point). he wants lucifer gone. not only that but hes pushing him saying that hes basically like a father to charlie already.

alastor is trying to replace lucifer but remember that lucifer not only the king of the pride ring (i forgot the terminology alr-) but hes also the king of hell.

despite lucifer acting like a joke in the singular episode that we see him in he is the most powerful being in hell. hes more powerful than lilith or charlie (and once again assuming that lilith owns alastor a pretty damn powerful being shes really fucking powerful).

if lucifer wants he could probably obliterate alastor in less than a damn second, yet he doesnt for a few reasons

hes important to what charlies doing

this basically gives alastor invincibility against lucifer going bonkers on him and killing him. then again why doesnt lucifer just help charlie? well hes probably got more important things to do (despite what we saw of him) and hes given up on the sinners.

he gave them freewill and never got to see the good done with it. he most likely never saw the people who went to heaven so for all he knows everyone ended up down in hell and are doing shit things with what he gave them.

he most likely wants them gone and wants the extermination to happen because he thinks that they dont deserve a second chance unlike his daughter. but remember that he also loves charlie, thats his fucking daughter and when she calls him he gets excited he wants charlie to like him. but that being said he doesnt think the sinners deserve his kindness anymore after they took his gift and basically made a fool of him.

so lucifer wont help charlie so he just has alastor help her instead to keep her happy.

not only this but in the song 'hells greatest dad' (i think its called that) unlike in 'stayed gone' theyre both fighting for attention. charlies attention.

once again we dont know what beef theyve got with each other but its most likely because of either the past or whether or not that lilith owns alastor and told him to fuck with lucifer.

in this scene we see the color constantly change and them constantly kicking each other out with them both losing their cool and making a fool of themselves. theyre an actual match for each other

lucifer is an actual threat and so is alastor for reasons that we dont know yet. this makes them have to prove their worth to charlie over whos more powerful and who can help her more because even though lucifer doesnt want to help the sinners (and most likely wont) he wants to make her happy.

and even though we dont know why alastor hates lucifer its probably most likely to do with whoever owns his soul and whatnot along with he needs lucifer just out of the picture and that isnt as easy to do as he'd like.

All words you’d been hearing since the day you were born. A bastard child of the late King Viserys, you born from a hasty decision made while he was in the throws of grief after his wife-the queen-died. A mistake.

You never knew your biological mother, only knew the gifts she'd left you-her common colored eyes and a loyalty as fierce as a dragon. You also knew that she had died giving birth to you. It wasn’t uncommon for Targaryen woman to die giving birth, nevermind those of common blood. As your father told it she never stood a chance. But your father, for all intents and purposes, was a good man. Despite the disgrace others found you, he treated you like kin.

You were, after all, half of him.

With time you learned to ignore the judgments of strangers. Even though your white hair showed off your Targaryen blood, there were many who still challenged your lineage. But even the most vocal of your haters fell silent when you claimed a dragon in your 12th year.

Despite it all, your father loved you. And his first born was no different.

Rhaenyra adored you, her brave little sibling. She missed her mother, but found you healing a portion of her heart. She helped her father raise you, and as you bloomed into a young adult you two remained thick as thieves. She was relieved to have someone to help shoulder the burden when your father eventually passed. Evil had crept into the kingdom in the form of the Hightowers, and on more than one occasion they had tried to poison your mind against your sister and her birthright. But it was useless. Family and honor were more important than anything, and so you stood proudly by your sister-the rightful Queen.

This all, of course, led you to where you sat now.

You were on a tour orchestrated by the high counsel, rallying men for Rhaenyra and keeping morale high. Unease had grown in some of the outer lands, and word was spreading that some doubted the royals allegiance to the people. Your task, as the counsel worded it, was to meet with the people and show that the royal family did care for them, would stand with them and not behind them.

Though honestly right now, you didn’t want to stand anywhere near them.

“Ser Lorent, what are we at now?”

“That was the 21st.”

“Surely not!”

“Perhaps not…..I stopped counting after the 13th.”

You blew air from your lips, crossing your arms. The current stop was in the Riverlands. It was a beautiful part of the world with it's rolling hills and greenery. Not that you were enjoying it, trapped in a stifling hot court room listening to queries and declarations and questions. That in itself wasn’t the problem, you were always happy to speak with the people. The problem was the topics in question.

“Surely none of those 21 thought I would actually accept their hand? I’m here to discuss war, not marriage!”

“I can’t say for certain. Though the last few you turned down did seem a bit spooked.”

You humphed. “Good. Maybe it will scare off any others feeling brave. I’d sooner let Bryaxis eat me then become an obedient spouse for some fool to order around.”

“Easy,” Ser Lorent warned, acutely aware the two of you still had an audience.

“I need a break,” you announced, pushing yourself up from your chair. “I find myself quite parched and warm, might we take a break for me to collect myself before we continue?”

The lords hosting for the day nodded, dismissing their people from the courtroom for the afternoon.

You turned to your knight. “I’m going for a walk. I need some fresh air.”

“I must insister I accompany you.”

"I'll be fine, Ser."

"Have you got your sword?"

You patted your back where your trusty blade lay sheathed down your spine. "When do i not?"

The knight sighed. "I feel I'm going to regret this. Won’t you take your dragon?”

"You worry too much, and Bryaxis would bring the attention I'm looking to avoid. I'll be back in an hours time after I’ve had a break from this stifling place."

Before the man could change his mind you were slipping from the room and following a maids directions to the outside gardens.

The moment you were free of the stuffy stone building you took a deep breath of fresh air. While still hot outside, there was at least a slight breeze giving you relief. Hoping to avoid detection you pulled your hood up, then you were off. You strolled the lands belonging to the lords hosting, sprawling and filled with foliage and wildlife. You managed to avoid anyone else, getting the peace and quiet you so desperately craved. At least, until you hit the peak of a hill and then began descending it.

Up ahead, there was what you guessed to be a training area. Dummies made of various materials stood haphazardly propped up. You walked closer, curious. As you drew near you realized there was someone there. A young strapping man with dark hair was training with his sword. He stood amongst the dummies, weaving around while he struck them with his blade.

You watched him in awe for a few minutes. He sword struck with such force, yet his movements were smooth and fluid. He moved like it was second nature to have a blade in hand, like it was an extension of his arm. Considering how many great warriors you'd witness train, he was impressive.

The stranger paused for a moment to catch his breath, and that’s when he finally noticed his admirer. Realizing you'd been caught, you walked forward to the edge of the training yard.

"I hope I didn't startle you. I was just observing. You have a way with the blade, my lord."

The man's eyes had widened more and more the closer you got, and his cheeks flushed at the compliment.

"You flatter me. I was just training, fooling around. It's nothing-"

"Nonsense. I know good technique when I see it."

His face grew a cherry red, and a beat of silence hung between you two. You were moments away from excusing yourself and returning to the court and Ser Lorent when the man spoke again. He'd taken a beat to compose himself, and his complexion had returned to it's natural color.

"Forgive me. I don't believe we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Are you new to the riverlands?"

You froze in place, eyes wide. The man before you had no idea who you were. You didn’t have the signature purple eyes, and your giveaway white hair was tucked back into your hood. The shock quickly weared off and the new realization left you pleased. This was a welcome change, one you would be taking advantage of. You finally blinked again, relaxing your stance.

“I’m no one. Just passing through when I was overcome with the need for fresh air and a walk. My apologies for interrupting, lord...?”

“No apology needed. And I am not a lord, that would be-"

You waved the formality away and his words died on his tongue. "All the lady and lord nonsense never made much sense to me. I much prefer names."

And so you two swapped introductions. Though you realized, just a beat after he gave you his, that your name would almost undoubtfully give you away. So you gave the name of one of your own ladies in waiting.

And this man, this handsome man, was Benjicot Blackwood.

"The Blackwoods are fierce fighters, or so I've heard. From the looks of you before I interrupted the rumors are true."

Benji blushed, though you could have sworn his chest puffed out a bit at the compliment. You struggled to hold in a laugh at the observation.

"We take our training very seriously."

"And you fight for the Blacks?" You asked carefully, keeping your face and tone neutral.

"Aye, for the true queen Rhaenyra. And proud of it."

A real smile blossomed on your face, and Benji relaxed his shoulders in relief.

"It pleases me to hear so."

Then it was your turn to blush as Benji shot you a stunning smile. Desperate to turn the subject, you asked something you'd been dying to know since you first laid eyes on him.

"Would you indulge me in sharing how you did that one move with your sword and the spin?"

"Pardon?"

"When you lifted your sword like this and then went-" you did a poor attempt to demonstrate the move.

"Ah, this?" Benji repeated it, so fast that all you could make out was him tossing his sword into the air and then spinning around fast enough to catch it again before it could fall.

Your face lit up. "Yes, that!"

"Sure-do you-are you familiar with swordsmanship?"

You tried to ignore how cute you found his stumbling and instead nodded. You reached over your shoulder and pulled out Night Cleaver. A gift from Daemon, it was one of your most prized possessions.

"My family and I train sometimes. I'm still learning, but I've never seen that move you did. Could you try to teach me?"

"Are you sure?"

You rasied an eyebrow and Benji rushed to continue, "I just mean-in your attire. Can you move around in it well enough? I dont want you to trip or strain yourself.”

“I’ve trained in almost every sort of clothing, including nothing. I’ll be alright.”

Benji gulped, trying to keep his brain from imagining you swinging a sword around naked.

“Are you alright?” You asked as the man had gone beet red again and was very obviously avoiding your eyes.

He nodded furiously and you couldn’t help but find him entirely adorable in that moment. “Sorry for an unwanted imagery that may have brought up. But I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t my intention.”

Benji’s flustered expression morphed into one of disbelief.

“You’re a little flirt, aren’t you?”

You merely smiled and batted your eyelashes.

He shook his head, though a smirk was growing on his face. Gods he was attractive.

“So, first you want to plant your feet like this…”

As the time passed after that you could barely feel it, fully absorbed in the man in front of you and what he was teaching. Hours could’ve flown by and you’d be none the wiser.

He was good, any form of shyness vanishing as he patiently and kindly taught you how to replicate his impressive move. In the meanwhile you two bantered, swapping bits of information about yourselves. You changed names when needed, but otherwise kept honest. The move was hard, and even with your above average skills you struggled.

"Here, may I?"

You nodded, and Benji took a few steps closer. The two of you had remained a few feet apart for the entirety of the interaction, until now. Now he was within breathing room as he rested one hand oh so carefully on your wrist and the other on the small of your back to turn you the right direction. He smelled of sweat and leather and faintly of rain soaked stone. You couldnt help but bask in it, as the everlasting time seemed to slow and you both met eyes and leaned in-

A roar bellowed through the skies, causing both of you to freeze and look up. Any panic you felt evaporated at the sight of familiar black wings soaring through the skies, and you smiled as Bryaxis sped up once he caught sight of you.

Meanwhile Benjicot had gone pale, and was internally panicking at the large creature careening towards you. He grabbed your waist and tucked you behind himself while he raised his sword. He wasn’t foolish enough to think he could take on a dragon, but he was crazy enough to try.

“Stay behind me!”

“Wait, Benji-“

You were interrupted by Bryaxis letting loose another roar, angry at the sight of someone he didn't recognize touching you. He grew closer, and as he gave his wings once final flap he was hitting the ground with a deafening boom. The moment he landed you broke out of Benji’s grasp.

“Wait!” He shouted, but you didn’t stop. You ran to your dragon, who was already opening his mouth and preparing to burn Benji alive.

“Bryaxis! Don’t!”

He halted, mouth still wide open and showing off his rows of razor sharp teeth.

By time you reached his side, your hood had fallen from your head.

“He’s a friend. No need to burn.”

Bryaxis gave a little whine through his nose but closes his mouth and laid his head down in front of you. You sighed in relief, and rested your hand on his snout.

“Good boy, Bry.”

He shut his eyes and purred at the attention. He was really a softie at heart

“What in the bloody hell?”

Bryaxis’ eyes snapped back open and narrowed at the man behind you that you’d nearly forgotten about.

“Easy boy,” you warned him, keeping a hand on his nose while you turned to meet Benji’s wide eyes.

“You….you’re a Targaryen.”

The wind picked up a bit, blowing your now revealed white hair around you.

“Yes. This is Bryaxis. And I’m-“

“The princess.”

Your face warmed. “I….apologize for not being totally honest, Benji.”

His eyes remained wide, unbelieving. Then he suddenly dropped to one knee, bowing deeply.

“My apologies Princess, I meant no ill with any of my comments I-“

“Benji,” you stepped away from your dragon to reach for him, pulling him back to his full height tall above you. “Stop that. I didn’t say anything because I enjoyed being known as commonfolk. I…didn’t want you to desire my company just because of my family, because of who I am. It felt nice that you seemed to like me for me. As ridiculous as that may sound.”

Far from your usual confident self, your voice swayed and hands trembled as you tried to express yourself properly. You were fearful that this thing between you was destroyed before it even had the chance to become something.

“Not ridiculous at all,” Benji said softly, hesitating for a moment before he brought his hands to your face. He moved slowly, giving you time to pull away. But you didn’t. You let him hold your face so softly, thumbs brushing over your cheeks. His heart broke a bit at the thought that you had to lie just to be treated as a normal human being.

“I understand why you were cautious, that’s smart of you. I could have been a danger, I could have been a threat.”

“Well…you were quite threatening to those dummies.”

Benji laughed at that, loud and full and careless.

“If I promise to be honest from here on out….would you consider seeing me again before I take my leave from the Riverlands? After all, I still haven’t quite mastered the sword spin trick of yours.”

“Are you sure? To quote a fine lady….I’m no one.”

“That’s not true. You’re someone.”

Benji hummed, giving you a soft sort of smile as he studied your face before answering.

"Same time tomorrow? I’ll bring lunch.”

1- aya. oh my gosh aya. shes what, a ten year old?????? and in the span of a day, she has found out about a vampire lord who is responsible for destroying or saving the whole world, shouldered the responsibility of getting said vampire lord away from the enemy to save the world, developed a father-daughter relationship with said vampire lord, sacrificed herself and got saved by him, believed that the world could be saved now, saw her new father figure's body be torn apart and replaced by a greasy ratass who wants to destroy everything or whatever, with said new father's last words telling her to run to save herself, being saved by said father, then having him dissolve and die again in front of her eyes again. shes a ten year old. what the actual fuck. oh and don't forget, she doesn't know that she lost her other father figure too!

gosh she is going to be SO traumatised and even that is an understatement i really hope she has the strength to recover

dazai, who thinks that anything worth wanting is always lost the moment he obtains it. and its happened again. and by the looks of it, it will happen again.

Rings worn by Khaotung on his right and left ring finger during THK EP1 event 🆕 (not a new moment but new addition to the list) Wether a wedding ring is worn on the left or right finger depends on country and culture. Based on what I have read Thailand leans towards wearing it on the left finger (but please correct me if i'm wrong). Now in the series Bison often wears rings on his right hand (either just on his ring finger or both ring finger and index finger) which i think might also be reflected by Khaotung wearing two rings on his right hand in the below picture. But I don't think I have ever seen Bison wear a ring on his left hand before (outside of fitting pics), especially not on his ring finger so if the other rings on Khaotung right hand are inspired by Bison, then the ring on the left hand might be too. Which is to say that I believe the left hand ring could be Bisons future wedding ring. I think it also has a cross on it (my best guess) which we know by now fits Bison perfectly. 🖐💍
