I just want to point out that Hermitcraft season 6 lasted a little over 19 months, and season 9 is currently at 17. In the spirit of Sixfinity I would like to propose the name Nineternity thank you and goodnight

so like apparently many people don’t know about Cub and Scar’s alien

Basically after Convex escaped Season 5 with their spaceship they brought this guy in a cage but .

For some reason the spaceship crashed in S6 (probably Jarvis’ fault) and they lost all their memories of the Vex. The alien was already gone by that time they regained their memories when they found the original vex masks.

Apparently Scar found the alien almost immediately, which is interesting because he didn’t mention it to Cub, his business partner for the past two seasons but he showed it to Doc… much to think about.

These are (from what we could find) the only mentions that didnt get lost to time of where the plotline for this creature was supposed to be going.

It’s also important to note that Scar fed both raw Beef and Etho to the alien, as well as alluding to Bdubs, Beef, Etho and Doc when he mentioned that Some Things had gone missing in the jungle, all of this while talking to Doc himself. That’s all the nHo, who lived in a jungle, we have come full circle LMAO.

Maybe Scar wanted to scare Doc for the sake of the old Convex vs nHo rivalry,, who knows! As if eating them in S5 wasn’t enough

“Yes Detective, what of it?”

“You see, it was bothering me that you say that because… Etho was practicing that night. And he swore by it. Swore he didn’t see you.”

“Well, you can’t trust a zatoichi!”

“Yes I can ma’am! Yes! I can. You see. Ms. Gemini if you may come here. You forgot one thing… we have hard proof! You were not paying attention! Boys!”

Scar and Skizz walk in.

“Now we have a great police force. The best there’s been. Operated by the finest there was. And we couldn’t be here today without them.”

“Well, what? Can they prove they saw me? With what proof can Dumb and Dumber provide you?”

“The proof! The proof you were at the shopping district on the night of the murder.”

“How so?”

“You see, anyone who has gone to HQ knows that the doors are always on the fritz. You can’t enter through the main entrance. We don’t have the budget to repair it. We ask everyone to use the side or back door.”

“Okay, so what? The main door was broken into. You said so. Clearly the murderer didn’t care about using the door.”

“Well that’s where you’re wrong. Our murderer did care! You see, our murderer left traces showing they didn’t go back through the way which they came. They did take the side exit.”

“How so?”

“Because, the side door was jammed.”

“What?”

“You see when I came into the office, it bothered me that the back door was fine, but the sidedoor was jammed open, almost as if someone had forcefully open it like they were in a hurry.”

“Well, that could’ve happened for any of reason.”

“I think you might want to come see this. You see this photo Ms. Gemini?”

“Yes, I do.”

“Notice how far in the pickaxe is into False’s head.”

“Very gory…”

“It is… now the problem with this is the fact that we checked the enchantments on this. The boys down at the lab checked. This is a Fortune III pickaxe.”

“Yup.”

“Notice, this is a Netherite Pickaxe.”

“Get to the point Charlie!”

“When we talked to you, you had a lot of netherite gear. You were going for the full upgrade, correct?”

“I am, and am quite proud of doing so.”

“Now when we talked, if you can just fact check this for me. You had full Netherite armor, a sword, axe, two shovels, one pickaxe, and had done one hoe?”

“That is correct.”

“Now then… this is a blown up picture with you, Pearl, and Impulse after a mining trip.”

“Yeah… and?”

“Right there, two Netherite pickaxes on either side of the belt.”

“I’m sorry Ms. Gemini, but the only motive to open the door instead of breaking out is if the murder weapon couldn’t be taken with as well. You’re under arrest under suspicion of murder.”

“It was a perfect crime, your only mistake was doing it too hastily.”

Just wanted to let you guys know that I have a pretty good fic called The Fourth Star (the rewrite, the original is bad) and pls go read it I am desperate bc it’s not getting very many reads despite having seven chapters posted.

As much as I love voice chat mod, there is something truly special about interactions on hermitcraft pre voice chat. Every time I go back and watch season seven content, I feel incredibly nostalgic for a time when spontaneous interactions occurred not with voice, but just with crouching and the occasional chat message.

“Now pardon me, I know it’s very rude to intrude, but while I was in your base, I went down into your basement to check out your Redstone. I don’t mean to be rude, but it is completely unsecured. Not a single safety precaution. Just a simple wooden door stopping you. Now I’ve talked to the witness… Mr. Times and he said that it was only him and Ms. Tay online at the time of the heist. Now this may come as shock, but the boys in the server room told me that the server needs to pruned for leaks, and that it was down for two hours for maintenance.

Now, how could Times be online if the server wasn’t? It just doesn’t make any sense.”

Xisuma has no choice, forced to comply with what the Watchers asked of him. He was granted power unlike any other, yet he is chained by their control. The server will be torn apart, distrust and chaos between Hermits.

All because of him.
