Maybe they really were all trapped here. Maybe this was just another prison. But it was a prison with a proper kitchen, with free passage through the halls and with rooms as big as four cells at Tartarus. Chizome wasn’t one to be ungrateful when it came to being given good things, all things considered. He never was very lucky. At all. Even here, now, he had already been robbed of several things. His friendship with Hari, for one, was wavering at best. Although Chizome didn’t quite believe that everyone in the building could have different memories, he had been surprised to see clock hand like arrows in Kurono’s hair. That did speak for the difference in time. Hari had only ever had wavy, shaggily chopped hair in his memories. The arrows suited him. Somehow.

Amidst all the chaos, it was an ungodly hour of the night when Akaguro chose to wander outside. He was hoping to avoid any others- hero or not. If he had learned anything locked in a cell for months, it was to control his temper and manage it. Still- he didn’t want to test himself just yet. Not when there was a whole kitchen to use. Chizome loved to cook, and it had been.. near what felt like decades since he’d had a chance to do so. And so he wandered to the kitchen he’d seen earlier, black sweater combined with the dark grey pants he usually wore- the ones with about ten thousand pockets. Messy, bloody auburn hair tied in a low ponytail, Chizome preferred to avoid it getting in his face. Once he’d gotten to the kitchen, he’d taken a quick look around the cabinets and fridge and had decided that after a good few years, it was time to have some sushi. Nigiri, to be precise. How could he resist, when the fridge was stocked with both salmon and snapper?

The hero killer rolled his sleeves up and moved to wash his hands. He was highly aware that Hari had spent a considerable amount of time cleaning this place, and he’d respect it. Once he found all the things he needed, Chizome got to work, glad to be in utter peace. He made sure to cook the rice first, and while it simmered for a bit, he got to the fish, using his skills with a blade to cut it into thin, palatable slices, when-

His peace was interrupted. The intruder had appeared silently and out of nowhere, and it took one flicker of vermillion eyes for Chizome to put together that this was Overhaul. Hari would never stop talking about the guy. And god, what a nuisance. Chizome brushes the other off, dignifying him of one glimpse as he continues. “Good evening to you to. Don’t worry, you don’t have to eat it, it’s not for you.” Chizome says, lips curling into a spiteful smile. He can’t help it, not when the other is giving him a snarky look.

The  one  good  thing  about  this  place  was  that  it  was  clean.  Eerily  so.  It's  something  he's  repeated  to  himself  over  and  over  again,  a  small  comfort  in  a  flurry  of  otherwise  endless  irritation.  The  kitchen  area  was  also  nice  and  just  as  clean  as  everywhere  else.  Well.  If  not  for  the  big  blight  that  was  Stain  in  the  middle  of  it  all.  Funny  thing:  he'd  wanted  to  meet  the  hero  killer  back  when  they  were  free.  He  was  a  man  who  seemed  like  he  had  the  right  ideas  and  a  wealth  of  passion.  Those  things  could  be  very  useful.  Indeed,  his  feelings  on  that  hadn't  entirely  changed  despite  earlier  awkwardness.

He  decided  to  take  the  opportunity  to  talk  to  him.  Even  if  it  included  criticizing  his  food  choices.  His  retort  came  with  a  scoff  and  a  narrowing of his golden  eyes. ❝ I'm serious. We've  got  no  idea  where  that  came  from  or  how  long  it's  been  here.  It's  a real potential  health  risk. ❞  He  offered,  one  of  the  fingers  that  were  wrapped  around  his  water  bottle  pointing  to  Stain's  lovingly  prepared  Nigiri  in  gesture  as  he  took  another  sip  of  his  water.  Raw  fish  was  risky  as  things  were;  there  was  no  way  he  could  trust  it  just  hanging  around  this  strange,  foreign  place  that  seemed  to  lack  all  sense  of  time  the  same way  same way it  seemed  Stain  could.

He  never  understood  why  other  people  didn't  take  the  whole  germ  thing  seriously.  It  was  a  nasty  virus  that  mutated  mankind  into  superpowered  freaks,  after  all,  but  he's  sure  plenty  of  it  was  simple  ignorance.  Sure,  the  theory  wasn't  exactly  proven;  it  was  challenging  to  do  such  a  thing,  but  it  was  the  closest  anyone  had  ever  come  to  explaining  the  phenomenon  of  quirks  and  Kai ?  He  believed  it.  Fully.  Utterly. Ever since he was a kid.

It  was  a  shame,  though.  The  food  looked  good.  If  he  wasn't  so  concerned  by  the  possibility  of  contamination,  he  might  have  been  hungry,  too.  Who  knew  the  hero  killer  had  such  a  knack  for  meal  prep ?  He  should  have  been  taking  better  advantage  of  the  opportunity  to  have  a  quiet  talk  with  the  hero  killer,  free  of  everyone  else's  noise and the scuffling.

❝ I'm sorry about  earlier,  and  I'm  sure  Chrono  is,  too.  Things  got  a  little  confusing  out  there.  You guys were  even talking  like  you  knew  each  other.  D'you mind filling me in on that ? ❞

Disco trolls headcanon yapping

So, this line in Trolls: World Tour has always kinda bothered me and basically made me spiral one night watching it. How would Branch, a Pop troll who by all accounts is only learning about the other genres in the last 24 hours, know that Disco is an outdated/extinct genre? This is probably just a throwaway line to make the disco is dead joke. but............

Unless, of course, Pop trolls DO know about Disco trolls, and that they are now an extinct genre. Maybe because... For what they know, all that remains of the "disco" trolls have been living amongst them all along

Basically my headcanon boils down to Glitter trolls are Disco trolls that over time have literally been stripped of their genre.

Disco trolls would have left with the Pop trolls after the strings were divided (i like to think that unbeknownst to anyone their own String is hidden in the harp itself, which the pop trolls have, so they're compelled to follow). When the Bergens arrived at the troll tree, the Disco trolls began being picked off at a way faster rate than pop trolls (shiny shiny), establishing Bergentown's very 70s/disco aesthetic as they built their troll-eating society, while subsequently Disco trolls "losing" their own genre due to overconsumption. Eventually, while at the tree they develop the ability to have the iconic glitter farts as a defensive measure, and onwards they become known as Glitter trolls ✨

I love that one of the roles fire plays in this series is to represent how all consuming desire can be, and how it’s framed as something that can be world ending when uncontrolled.

So naming unnatural, untamable green fire ‘wildfire’ is therefore a stroke of genius. It’s the representation of how we humans manufacture our own doom in the pursuit power, of how uncontrolled desire will eventually blow up in our faces.

And the fact that barrels and barrels of it sit fermenting under Kings Landing, Westeros’s breeding ground of maniac desire, and the capital the ambitious and corrupt flock to for what it promises? It’s perfection!

THIS blog is focused on Curio, not Stols, or anyone else for that matter unless they are enabling Curio's or Curio is engaging with them out of his sealion-ing spite. Regardless of any bias callout blogs may or may not have, we also hold the same critique we have towards how people covered the Shep situation with how the Stols situation is being covered. A chunk of it seems very performative and a lot of the evidence already speaks for itself. It is telling that the current most active Stols archive blog has the url cancelstols and not something akin to blockstols, as if you want to spitefully cancel someone and not to merely inform. The show you people are making out of Stols is not helping your case and only gives stols more room to victimize themselves. Drop a doc, document their behavior, and leave it at that.

YOU cannot prove who sent an anonymous message, which is why we hate anonymous hate even if you want to argue an awful person deserves to get some. People get framed for sending things they didn't. Writing styles do exist but so do millions of writers who have the same subtle typing quirks.

IF you hate Stols so much, stop giving them so much material to scapegoat and victimize themselves with. Sending these anonymous messages, no matter the intent, makes your side look worse.
