re: letters, my best friend, who for now i will call dia, just handed me a late birthday present: lego set(but it's not from lego, just a kit from amazon), the new pjo book, and a letter! It was quite sweet. she writes me letters every year and i cant believe ive reciprocated only ONCE. so of course i immediately drafted her a letter. i've been sat for 3 hours in front of a google doc

i had a good day today. my friends and i go to different schools so we've orchestrated efforts to meet every wednesday at my best friend's school to study together. it was not productive. it's never productive. my other friend kept urging me to play bg3 so they can watch and as much as i wanted to, i am behind on 3 readings and a discussion post due tomorrow. i always end the night with dia though and it's so routine that sometimes i feel like i take it for granted. it will be such a fond memory in 5 years.. agh.. so friend pilled

Yall remember that lady who told me I was awesome that one time at work? Today I got my period and its maybe my worst one yet. Since she got Sycamore when she's like,, 16? I think, in my hcs, so Sycamore was at least 12 when she got custody of him from their own father

So hey, she's also kinda,, paranoid and really protective, especially since the time she got Augustine from Pa Sycamore she saw Pa Sycamore hurting Augustine, and yeah hahah

Got so pissed over it that she really did almost end up killing their father w her Tyrantrum, but didn't bc Augustine was already crying and begging for her to stop

And yeah, after that whole ordeal, they got home to Dia's apartment, and she made him promise to tell her everything

Augustine, at first, was quiet, but he saw how in distress Diantha was going "my dearest, how can I help you if you won't tell me what happened? Or what's happening with you. Augustine, I don't want you to get hurt, I don't want to lose you..."

"I'm sorry..."

"I hope you understand I'm doing this to protect you. So you spare no detail, you understand? Tell me who's hurting you, and I'll make them stop. You keep no secrets from me, okay?"

"yes, Dia... I'm sorry..."

"it's alright, my love. You go to bed now, we'll talk about everything in the morning."

Sycamore up and left, he stayed at Diantha's room for the meantime while she sleeps in the living room. But that night, smth in her kinda snapped, that if that's how the world truly is, hurting those who are innocent, then she has to do smth abt it

She is Champion after all. Surely, everyone will follow what she says. And in her own perfect world, her brother won't get hurt again, no one innocent would get hurt again, no one would ever look down on her or her brother as they've no right to do so. In her perfect world, she's queen, and everyone would kneel before her, and praise her, and worship her, and they'd all be thankful that bc of her, no more evil resides in their world.

It'd be great. It will be perfect. Only the best, a world fit for her brother and for those she care about, those who are truly deserving.
