So my family has three cats, and one of them is really fun to refer to because I literally just make shit up as I go. Most of her names end up starting with G and ending with some kind of vowel.

Luna was supposed to be killed in that fire. hah. funny how fate works.

They actually used to know eachother when they were younger, much younger. Luna's about 17 here and Calice is 36 and they crossed paths a few times due to living in the same village (until, y'know...the incident.) and Luna's need for finding companionship in someone she thought was like her, didn't help that they often took the same route to school/work. Calice thought she was a pest.

the right section is a bit of Calice's recollection of Luna from when she was younger, fire and missing posters....not like many people cared much for the wolf hybrid freak that shared a classroom with their children, if anything she was a danger, I mean, it's still an animal...what if it snapped and hurt someone? You never know with these....things.

Poor Luna, this part of the story is VERY dramatic, i love to think of their characters of being so similar, they just took a different approach to how they were treated.

I was thinking about naming him Sir. Irian like the Iris flower. The thing is I have to differentiate him from Iris, a male monarch Butterfly across the entire world. Or Sir. Astroway as his last name is Astroway due to his sailor family using stars as a way to travel.

About my long break: Look guys, I haven’t been doing well mentally. I am in a depressive state, I am sleep deprived, I am done with life. To draw so much and pour your time and skill into an artwork only for a few likes can be frustrating. I don’t post my art for fame or love, I do it to share my ocs and ideas, I don’t want the masses to flock, I just want recognition for my work. I didn’t really mean to take a break, I get distracted very easily and forget to post. I wish I could post more but art takes time, I have to develop ideas and passion due to my constant art block and burnout. The only good thing in my life is just being alive. There is a large scar on my neck because I gave myself a friction burn with my lanyard at school due to anxiety :( I have mental problems, whatever I have, it isn’t good and will probably slowly deteriorate me to a depressive glob of my former self, but I will never get diagnosed. My family is constantly angry at me for no reason, I get that my clean obsessed behaviour can get annoying especially when I panic and get water everywhere, but I hate to be yelled at for something that I cannot control or fix. They say I am overreacting and will got over it, but I’ve tried, there is no fixing this. That’s why I’ll probably never ever get a diagnosis or therapy session. I lied, I am actually not as okay as I say I am. If I ever don’t post for a period time, please know that it’s either from lack of art or mental issues. I am sorry for not posting in awhile as my usual breaks take a time of 3 days or 2. I am deeply sorry.

I drew these in my math book, very classic place to doodle, I know. There’s not a lot of doodles in my book though, I am usually trying to do equations and get an 100 on my test

I finally got a haircut, though my hair is now a short messy thing, I feel quite confident even if I don’t fully look masculine. My arm hair should be quite an indicator and the trans pin inside my backpack, haha! That pin was made by a friend of mine, don’t worry he’s very fruity and slay. Idk if it’s just my senses but my hairdresser was definitely an ally, he slayed, my hair is hairing. Also I have giant eyebags and a cowlick, like I literally have Dem’s cowlick.

Here’s some more little oc ideas. Eclipse is my first transfem oc, I know I know I’m slaying. She’s has a twin sister, Luna! Yes, Eclipse and Luna are Hornet twins, from the same egg btw. I still don’t know how it works, I’m too tired to research though. Arctic and Viper are a married couple, I like to think Arctic is just a lesbian and her/his wife is a crazy queen with schizophrenia who totally didn’t kill her family. They’re both from Bloodlust’s time period, though a little older.

I don’t want to talk about it… This is really gross but because Snow’s family wanted to keep the bloodline “pure” she’s SHORT and albino but like literally no one else in her family is albino… poor Snow… GUYS DONT MARRY YOUR SIBLINGS AND COUSINS… Bevel transmasc headcannon, I’m not making it cannon yet because Bevel is a lesbian.

I think this is just gonna be for Solaria and Domino for now cause it’s getting too big for me to put all the planets on here!

Solaria’s capital city is called Sunburst (this is where the Palace is too!)

But the Seleneites call their main city Moonshine city (more temples are here but they have a smaller palace type home for the guardian of the Seleneites)

Solaria is basically one big landscape with a few smaller islands surrounding it

Think beautiful blue seas, sandy beaches and a whole lot of vineyards (Solaria is technically a big supplier of alcohol)

There are a whole lot of coastal towns in Solaria and some of them attract a whole lot of tourists from Magix and other planets

For the Seleneites like I said there are more temples, they worship the moon and celebrate the gods bit more then the sun part of Solaria does

There was tension between the two factions of Solaria because they did things completely differently from each other

Solarian’s worshipped the sun and mostly worked through the day and slept during the night

Seleneites worshipped the moon and worked through the night and slept during the day

So there were complications when Radius’s father wanted to bring the two together (he and his wife Raye were both pure solarian btw)

So when Radius decides to marry Luna it comes as a huge shock to both factions as it had never happened before

Stella was technically the first Solselene child since there had been no recorded birth of one before her

Solaria is home to a lot of performers

Like beast tamers (More from Domino)

Fire breathers (these hail mostly from Domino though)

Acrobats

Dancers (they also hail from Andros)

Magicians (although these are quite scarce now)

There are lots of circuses and just random performances going on around Solaria at times

Especially during the festival’s!

It’s capital city is called Sparx (yeah cause I’m not changing domino to Sparx no way)

The people of Domino live quite close to the five lakes and it means there are several bridges connecting towns and cities

It’s also quite barren in terms of greenery due to the dragons so they have to import a lot of stuff

Domino being the home of the dragons does mean you also have areas that are bare ground or down in caves so they don’t hurt the people

Most in Domino have skills with communicating with dragons and magical creatures due to their being a lot of them on Domino

The royal family have guardian dragons

Marion’s father had a dragon named Alfor whilst her dragon is named Elowyn

She’s very good at dragon riding because of this (sometimes she’ll teach the new guards in case they need new soldiers to fly)

So yeah there’s dragon riding for the royal family and for those lucky enough to connect with a dragon (also the royal guard have dragons or Pegasi)

Like I said Dominon’s connect with creatures easily (like how Linphean’s connect with plants easily) due to the fact that the dragons brought more animals when they landed

Which means these people had to make sure they lived in harmony so they didn’t taint the relationship with the dragons

So it’s often you’ll see a family being close with wolves or reptiles due to this, for example Oritel actually bonded with a panther cub named Fell and he grew up with him!

Domino has festival’s like the dragon dance or the masque ball of autumn

The Royals will basically put on a show with their dragons, showing the bond they have

Basically a chance for everyone no matter what status to be equal and celebrate the death of autumn so they are well rested for the hard work they’ll have to face in winter!

(It’s also a chance for romance to bloom 👀)

I’m also gonna quickly note about the five lakes they are the lakes the og dragons landed in before they settled on Domino!

Yeah Domino is quite a strong planet! But it welcomes connections with the others to keep peace!

At first he wanted nothing to do with this kid but came around to the idea, which was real convenient cause her mom got killed by her own family. Guess we locked in for life now. She has his werewolf gene and is trying her hardest to succeed in school to hopefully make their life better.

She doesn’t hate her cabin mates but she, like others, mistakenly believe that Aphrodite only represents sex and she blames her for all the sexualization she’s faced. She is desperate to prove that she can be more and throws herself into situations that are way too big for only her to handle. She has to figure out what Aphrodite means to her, how to love herself as she is, how to get her inner light back and has to learn how to recognize that she is a victim and that creeps exist. It is not her job to make sure they keep their comments and hands to themselves.

After she finds out he’s alive, she leaves Fjerda and tracks him down but when she realizes his girlfriend is Grisha, she believes he’s being poisoned and wants to kill Nina. When Matthias refuses to let that happen, she thinks it’s too late and the only way to save his soul is to kill him. Will she succeed? Will they make up and undo her brainwashing? Who knows? Not me.

I really love hearing your analysis on 5ds characters (we really need more 5ds content here man lol) and I would like to know your thoughts on Luna/Ruka's character and how she practically became unimportant. Like, her ability to communicate with duel monster spirits (shouldn't that be another variation of psychic abilities?? i could've sworn it was mentioned by Sayer/Divine but I could be wrong... they should've definitely explored the concept of psychic duelists as a whole if they were meant to be so important btw) and being some sort of empath(?) (not sure if that's the correct word), and also being a prodigy at a young age but was quite sickly growing up... I feel like the writer's missed a chance to develop her character more post-Dark Signers arc and I'm wondering what you would want for Luna/Ruka if there was a chance to put ideas on the table. Ahh sorry for my rambling. I'm very invested in 5ds but there are some parts that do not fit together or are unexplained or underdeveloped so reading your posts and analysis makes me feel as though I'm not the only one who feels that way despite loving the show so much since I was a kid. Like, I know the show is over a decade old at this point so I guess it's natural that less people are into it now, but I really wish more people posted about it, too...

Ah, dear, sweet Ruka. I would love to answer your ask bullet point by bullet point, but to tell you the truth, I wanted to write a full analysis on the twins, anyway! So I hope you can forgive me, but I'll save all my big talking points for when I get to that! That said, YES, poor girl was completely underutilised, she's got so many interesting concepts going for her that just didn't go anywhere. The spirit world connection is the worst offender imo because that was such a uniquely Ruka thing. Not to speak of the psychics-topic. The concept was so woefully underexplored—hell, even on Aki's end, who has even more of a reason to have that topic addressed in her character arc, we barely get anything.

I'll save what I would have done differently for Ruka when I get to write my big thing about the twins, though. One thing's for sure, I wouldn't have ditched the spirit world and I would have actually cleared up whether she has some variation of psychic powers or whether she's just extraordinary in a different way.

FFXV Playthrough Update

Session Nov 2, 2024:

Did some story quests today. And made it to Chapter 5, where I fought Titan in my longest fight (mostly due to not knowing how I was supposed to destory a giant gods arm with 4 dumbasses), found out Ardyn has a freaking car (presumably stolen from Aldercapt's garage) and followed him in a race, bonded with Gladio (confused as to why they didn't actually name Gladio's dad) got Luna healing people in the weirdest outfit I've ever seen (why does she have a belt in a straight dress) and got my car stolen (Regis is rolling in his grave) leading me to fight a big one eyed monster to get a chocobo riding service.

Did some side quests and had to deal with like 8+ sets of Magitek soldiers when I was just trying to get a stone for a sleezy amateur jewel maker...*sigh* anyone know the spawn rates of Magitek soldiers dropping from the sky?

Had a wonderful heart to heart with Prompto and fucked up the mail choice for Luna's journal. I have a favorite Blond and it certainly not Luna.

Also got this pretty cool picture of Ardyn. Leads me to ask where is his iconic hat because he still doesn't have it.

Session Nov 3, 2024:

Focused more on Main quests today and boy was Chapter 5 a loooong one. Finally got to ride my chocobo all day~ (looking for name suggestions for her BTW)

Did Ramuh's quest and got some adorable li'l Noct cutscenes. Also got attacked by a snake lady which DID NOT GIVE ME XP!!!! I CALL BULL WITH THAT!

(Also small theory that this was originally supposed to be Prom's bio mom when they thought that Evil Science Guy was supposed to be Prom's bio son instead of genetic template).

Finished Ramuh's Quest and got Noct's eyes to glow purple then committed Base Terrorism to get our car back. Also finally feed the guys.

Since they introduced the warp-kill skill in this one I dressed Noct in the Assassin robes. Also I got to play with the turrets in the base. It was real fun.

Ramuh saved our asses when we had to blow up the Generator in the base once again proving he is best Summon/Eikon/Astral in all FF games.

Finished Base Terrorism, meet Revus but more importantly Ardyn got his HAT!!!!!

(Side note I assumed that he was going to put on his hat after telling the Chocobros that he was the Chancellor, with the Hat being his symbolic crown and all. But I digress).

Finished up this chapter by Heading to talk to Iris and finding out that Jarred was dead then seeing the Omen Trailer. Weird but go off I guess.

Next time Iris joins us as a temporary party member and boy am I excited.

my art inspirations vs my art (2015-now)!

a mini collection of artworks I've done over the years next to the work/artist that I based the style of my piece on!

when I'm basing my work on another artist's piece, I try not to just directly copy the composition, colours or brushstrokes of the original... instead I'm always interested in adapting the original style to my own in order to create more of an homage instead!

another thing I keep in mind is medium, since most of my works above are digital and most of my inspirations are traditional artworks, so I have to figure out how to adapt that artists style into a new format in order to keep it somewhat recognisable to the original!

Gustav Klimt's The Kiss (1907) -> Wangxian digital drawing (2020), with a photo collage background made up of lots of golden things!

This is not the only piece I've done inspired by Klimt's work, but it's one of my favourites hence why I included it here lol! I love how Klimt combines realistically painted portraits with flat coloured backgrounds and patterns, the contrast is just so interesting to look at and is definitely something I use quite regularly in my own work.

Edvard Munch's The Kiss (1897) -> Destiel amalgamation traditional mixed media artwork (2021)

I was also inspired by a few other artworks but the pose is definitely based on Munch's work! I just love how the faces blend into each other that it almost becomes abstract, but is somehow still recognisable as a kiss!

Francis Bacon's 1972 Triptych -> Kaisoo painting (2015)

This is definitely one of the times my inspiration was more based on the ~vibes~ of the artist rather than anything in particular about one specific work lol! (so much so that I only know I based it on that particular triptych cos I wrote about it when I posted the artwork pfft...) Bacon's work isn't necessarily stuff I enjoy looking at (in fact it often makes me kinda uncomfortable), but I do like how expressive his work is!

Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's In Bed (1892) -> A study from the film Weekend (2023) (which I haven't actually released properly yet shh you'll have to wait until June for that lol)

I didn't actually initially plan to be an homage to this painting, but about halfway through me drawing it I realised it was reminding me of something lol! Henri's (yes we're on a first name basis cos I cba to write his long ass surname pfft) painting evokes such tenderness, a moment in time commemorated in paint, and it's that same emotion I hope my own work emulates!

Caravaggio's Young sick Bacchus (1593) -> Jimin holding some fruit and flowers lol (2017)

Not the only piece I've done inspired by Caravaggio (or baroque painters in general), but I'm still very proud of this piece, even if the proportions are terrible lol! The chiaroscuro of Caravaggio's work still makes me weep honestly! Plus, kinda weird, but I really love the way he paints grapes lol!

Goosebumps book cover (?? possibly 90s or 00s??) -> BBC Wreck fanart (2022)

I grew up with the Goosebumps books, and though I didn't have this particular publication, I remember absolutely loving the cover art! It's honestly kinda mad it's taken me this long to do an actual Goosebumps based work lol! Also the cheesy taglines are some of my favourite parts of the covers and I spent WAYYY too long trying to come up with my own pfft!

Gwen John's Young woman in a red shawl (1917) -> Luna f(x) fanart (2016)

I remember seeing John's work in Cardiff and just fell in love with her muted colours and rough brushstrokes! I don't think I necessarily echoed her work that well with my own (since it's a difficult technique to do in digital), but I still like it nonetheless lol

Lucian Freud's Guy Half Asleep (1981) -> Park Kyung Instant fanart (2018)

This was actually one of the first times I tried to make an artwork that was done digitally but actually looked like it was traditional! I'd honestly really like to do more work inspired by Freud's cos I love the lumpiness (technical term) of how he paints people! It almost feels like you could reach out and touch their skin when you see his work!

Remedios Varo's Triptych (1960) -> BTS Rapline triptych (2018)

I can't even remember where I saw her work first but I knew that I wanted to do something inspired by her work since I absolutely adored her use of colour and the stylism of her figures and backgrounds! I also really loved how her triptych acts as this journey through each piece, which is something I tried to recreate myself and that Rapline triptych is honestly still one of my favourite pieces I've ever done lol :')

Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper (1495) -> EXO 'last supper in hell' fanart (2019)

This is one where seeing it next to the inspiration is honestly hilarious lol! I was actually more inspired by the music video for Monster, which has a part in it paying homage to Da Vinci's Last Supper btw! I haven't really done much work based on Da Vinci, even though I really like his painting and drawing techniques!

And that's all (for now)! I know I will forever be inspired by artists and artworks of the past (and present) so maybe in a few years I'll do another one of these compilations lol!

Alright soooo I haven't decided on what I'm gonna call this AU yet—but for now, I'm gonna fall this 'The Natural Forces' AU until I come up with a better name./lh

This is the MLP AU based off Epic I was talking about btw

Part 1: Basic plot of the AU + Thunder Bringer (the main opposing threat here)

So basically—in this AU (havent decided when it takes place, but I imagine its after Trixie has redeemed herself) Celestia is one night in her palace, wondering through the halls and looking through ancient books. Where she stumbles across one in particular. However, as she's looking, she gets a sudden.. odd feeling. Like things have changed. She isn't sure what makes her feel that way, but then she notices that an ancient lyre she's kept in the room for years is now suddenly gone, even though it can't be taken considering it's under a literal protection spell. She knows something is very much off then, and has a suspicion of what might be happening—so after going around testing her magic on a bunch of different elements (the streams within the palace—which don't seem to obey and actually rise in level as if trying to force her to stop or even flood the palace, the winds—which don't listen to her whatsoever, etc etc). And after she's very certain of what's going on, she grabs a book, remarking that she needs to do something about this—like, now.

I imagine it cuts to Twilights friends and Spike watching Twilight perform a spell afterward—yet as she's casting a spell, the magic she's trying to use appears to.. kinda go a little more well than expected? Which is odd, seeing as she hasn't practiced the spell that much. When she remarks about this, her friends start to mention that something feels a little off about them too? Fluttershy explains that she's felt oddly more confident or better at flying than she usually is—or has just been faster, Applejack mentions she feels a lot stronger all of the sudden, and Rarity even says her magic has been working maybe a little too well—like responding to literal thoughts she had, and Spike says he hasnt had any mishaps with delivering letters through his fire breath all day. After they all ponder over what this could mean though, Twilight goes outside upon hearing the winds outside get stronger. And.. really weird stuff starts to occur there too. The clouds don't appear to be obeying the Pegasus anymore and are moving entirely on their own—with it randomly deciding to rain even though it wasn't scheduled to, Twilight swears she can almost hear LAUGHTER from nearby when the winds start to pick up, the animals seem to be suddenly more out and about than they usually are and seem strangely calm even though it's raining, etc etc. Twilight feels a bit freaked out even if nothing seems to be DIRECTLY going wrong, so she nearly sends a letter to Celestia, but Celestia already sends a letter to her—asking her to come to the palace at once. They aren't sure how they're gonna get there in the rain, and Twilight almost thinks of teleporting despite the large distance. But her magic responds to her thoughts like it did with Rarity, and teleports them all there without fail.

After teleporting to the palace as well, Twilight shows up to talk to a very clearly exhausted Celestia—who has apparently been up since last night. Along with Luna. After asking more about what's going on, both Celestia and Luna explain that there's been new 'forces' who have returned. Ones more powerful than they are, ones who are in charge of the world's balance now that they're back, and ones who have probably now officially taken over their reign with how powerful they are. Celestia says she isn't sure what's going to happen, and explains more thoroughly (after Twilight frantically asks what she means) that they are called the 'Ancients'. Forces who ruled over the world long before Celestia & Luna and any other alicorn did. All of higher power than any princess could be, and all of greater beings than any pony could be. To the point where they almost kind of ARENT ponies at all, or aren't any other creature whatsoever. They're their own forces and their own domains. Celestia explains that as far as she knows though, the forces briefly vanished one day without any explanation (according to Celestia's father), leaving the alicorns to rule. But now that they're back, the rule of Equestria is now threatened. And while the forces are powerful and very much capable of ruling, their way of seeing things is.. quiteeee different compared to the saccharine, friendship view of modern Equestria. Their way of seeing things was more honor-based, more realistic, and simply believing that you got what you deserved if you did something wrong or if you did something right. And while this view isn't inherently wrong, the God's tend to be a little less 'nice' about certain things and might wreak havoc should they not be pleased with something—AKA, there's always the threat of death if any of them actually get pissed off. Twilight asks what they can do, and.. well.. the thing is, Celestia doesn't know?? She just hopes that whatever they decide to do, they'll spare them and come to some sort of agreement. This makes the Mane 6 panic since they're not used to Celestia not actually knowing what to do. Celestia & Luna give them all the task of maybe trying to reach some sort of agreement with the forces or maybe trying to convince them to see things the way they do—and send them all off after an encounter with the force (who I will call Apollo until I come up with an actual name) who is in charge of the sunlight, music, art, healing, illness, lots of domains, etc etc. Apollo basically ends up calmly telling Celestia, very obviously not taking much of this seriously and being more laid-back than she is, that now that he's here, she doesn't need to really do much about the sun anymore. And he doesn't fully kick her out of moving it since what she does is useful for the pony folk, but he does basically tell her that he's in control of the sunlight now and where it goes and that there isn't much she can do about it, so they'll just have to control it together now, with him having most of the power. (Apollo is very chill and doesn't take much of anything seriously and doesn't mean to be a jerk here, but he comes off as one sometimes lmaoo—I'll make a separate post on him for this AU tho)

The basic plot though is that they all have to go convince the forces in some way or come to some sort of agreement with them, while coming across many troubles along the way (villains trying to cause trouble only to get their ass violently whooped by the Forces—like in a way that the Mane 6 wouldn't usually defeat them, some Forces not being that inclined to agree with them, some Forces even getting ANGRY at them, etc etc). And maybe even becoming a little traumatized in the process due to some events 😭

Now for Thunder Bringer though—who is actually the Queen of The Forces and is their personal ruler.

Thunder Bringer, as I mentioned, is the ruler of the Forces and acts as their leader. She is the Bringer of Justice—which means she will often step in anytime someone has done something wrong or did something so bad that she has to make them for it, Queen of The Skies, and is the Wielder of Lightning and Thunder (meaning she controls both of those elements now that she's back and no one else can control it now). Her body is constantly stringed/covered in Lightning bolts which flare up anytime she takes a step. Her pony form isn't even her actual form considering she doesn't have one—she just usually takes the form when speaking to ponies. Her ACTUAL form is literally the clouds and the sky itself. And she is quite frankly one you don't wanna fuck with because she's the most powerful. She is also the mother of most of the other Forces, and she has a wife (who is the Ruler of Marriage, Protector of Mares, Caretaker of Foals, Protector of Families, etc etc), who acts as a second mother to all of them./lh

Thunder Bringer is very emotionless, calm and collected as the Queen of The Forces—she's very intelligent, wise, and can be very intimidating when actually pissed. But full on terrifying whenever she's furious because Lightning begins to go crazy anytime she is furious about something. And her body flares like crazy with Lightning anytime she's full on furious—with her hair darkening like clouds do whenever they're filled with rain. She genuinely doesn't believe there's any other way to do things and punishes ponies or villains because she thinks she has to, and often punishes them in very cruel ways depending on what they did (she punishes Chrysalis at some point by literally making her choose to either let Thunder Bringer kill HER or kill the entirety of her changelings—or she just makes Chrysalis choose between letting her beat her up so badly that she isn't capable of being a queen anymore, or her tormenting her changelings for everything she's done to the ponies, etc etc). And she's been alive for so long that she hasn't really kept up with the morals of ponies. Sparing ponies is also only a Forces right in the eyes of the Forces, or at least it was back then, so one of the Forces may get a little pissed if the Mane 6 decide to spare someone—or Thunder Bringer may punish them for it. Thunder Bringer is also more soft or easily convinced around her wife. And Thunder Bringer is also just tired most of the time and is trying to do things the way she thinks they must be done.

Either way, she serves as the main antagonist for the Mane 6 since she's likely the hardest to convince about certain things—and also the most terrifying to convince since it's hard to know how she'll react. Celestia is also literally scared of her by the way so THATS how much of a threat she is 😭

That's it for Thunder Bringer for now, but I'll be making her sister next—who is the Ruler of The Sea, Leader of Storms, Bringer of Earthquakes and Droughts and Floods, and.. also literally the Queen of Ponies themself./lh

Some short gorey-weird story I made with one of my Bugbo oc, hehe.

I actually made this story a long time ago, just forgot to tell ya.

Explanation ::

When she was like, 7 or 8. She was walking to her home in the night, before she gets kidnapped by two people, a girl and a boy, one a rosey maple(male), one a luna. (Female) (Yes, a kidnapping, very creative of me!)

She woke up in an eerie place, empty yet dirty. She was tied up on the floor and she couldnt move a limb. It was very dark. The two moths (the two adults who kidnapped Nyx) came out from the shadows, a girl with a butcher knife.

They whisper something to each other and stay still for a few seconds, looking at Nyx before the Luna Moth leaned down and started to skin Nyx alive, while the Rosey Maple Moth watched.

They finally finish and walk out the door, leaving Nyx with no skin. They both went to sleep, and Nyx was still alive.

After a few minutes, Nyx stood up and threw up some blood, a tiny puddle below her. She slowly started to walk up the stairs, to a bedroom. (Yup, the guy and the girl are a couple)

She grabbed a blade nearby and did the same thing, skinning off the skins of who skinned her alive while they were in deep sleep. She looked at the males skin and the females eyes with greed.

She plucked out her own eyes and replaced them with the Lunas, and she glued the Rosey Maples skin on her flesh. Shes now a new bug, so very soft and beautiful. If only her family could look at her and praise.

Here is how she looked like before btw (this drawing was old, I drew it before Nyx even existed or before I even thought of her. Yes, her old name was Holly. She changed it to Nyx because she didnt like her original name)

So when you first look at Lunajack it seems a lil random right. but there’s so much more to it than that. You have Princess Luna, the redeemed alicorn Princess who spent 2000 years on the moon yelling at people one Twitter, and AJ, hauling ass all day everyday who portrays one of my favorite kinds of awkwardness (Zuko from ATLA had it too): the awkwardness of someone who’s never been in a NORMAL social situation and is so so scared of messing it up. And everyone can tell that she’s different- just by looking at her, obviously, but also like- the overly-courteous, bellowing royal energy is the only one she exudes. But she’s trying! She’s trying so hard to be a normal nice pone! But as it turns out, being incredibly lonely and cast in the shadow of your older sibling with you already being kind of weird towards your guest staff for so long until your evil tendencies reach maximum and you get a free* moon vacation does not lead to the most well-adjusted pone. Enter: Applejack.

Applejack has this kind of friendliness and hospitality that’s kind of hard to describe imo. It’s kind of casual in the sense that Apple hospitality applies to just about anypony, but it also has a lot of genuineness and integrity that makes it more than polite, because it’s so from-the-heart, along with the fact that Apples kinda have their own set of rules and that Apples simultaneously don’t really pay mind to what’s “improper”. And of course, AJ isn’t immune to finding people weird, so it’s not like she doesn’t have a couple reservations about Princess Luna. But, regardless, her overall kindness shines through. And she generally treats Princess Luna like any other pony, which is actually what kinda makes her stand out. I mean, That’s a major faux pas to most ponies. But that’s exactly what Luna needs- she doesn’t need someone else to treat her like an intimidating, royal princess, she needs a friend. So AJ and Twilight (who treats her similarly) kinda become this safe space for her I think. AndwithAJmaybeeventuallymore.

But, I dunno. Am I completely cringefail? Well yes, but am I bad enough at being cringefail that my characters are all off? Am I wrong? Did I mix up MLP and Sonic the Hedgehog? Find out on the next episode of Dragonball Z.

There's a lot I can forgive RWBY for. I was ready to forgive them for their mishandling of nuts n dolts, especially once they brought penny back. I can forgive them for bumbleby's weirdness, as it was actually pretty well done for the most part. But what I cannot forgive. Is them taking Joan of Arc, one of my personal heroes and an absolute badass, and turning her into a whiny bitch boy whose story has nothing to do with her. He is responsible for the most deaths, all of them women being fridged for the occasional flavor addition to his nothingburger of a story. Literally why are we even supposed to root for him? The most we know about his past is that he's a liar. (got into beacon via false papers) Literally even salem is easier to root for than jaune because at least she has some sort of tragic motivation of losing a lover that people can actually relate to! I've tried to get into rwby several times and every time, the black hole that is jaune singlehandedly dragging the story down is what either mostly or completely ruins it. (I've got problems with Oscar too, but that's a story for a different rant) I'm starting to think people are right about RWBY being a Shonen because it has a fucking misogyny problem, and that problem's name is Jaune Arc.

RT took Joan of Arc, a historical figure, a symbol of feminism, who led a Holy War and is an important person in French history and overall is a current symbol of bravery and leadership.

Jaune is a clueless loser who lied to get into Beacon and only got somewhat good at fighting because Pyrrha had to baby him.

And then Pyrrha dies for Jaune’s character.

And then Weiss gets impaled for Jaune’s character.

And then Penny is killed by Jaune for Jaune’s character.

And then Jaune takes up even more screen time (the Jaundice arc took over half of the total time of V1 btw)

And then RT had the fucking balls to make Jaune accuse Ruby of being selfish and instead of being pissed at Jaune, WBY hug him because his paper people that he enslaved became rocks???
