Hello guys, i would like to ask you for help. This is my friend who lives in Uganda, very poor country. These dogs that he has under his care in his shelter really need help right now, including money for food, because they're out of it again and now It's even harder because there are also puppies that needs to be taken care of. If you can help by donating any sum, we would be really grateful ❤️ Every 💲counts for real. They don't have dog food and look how thin they are 😭 Be their hero today, please ❤️
Here is his instagram if you want to see more of their history and photos/ videos of these doggies:
And here you can donate by using paypal or card because paypal takes high fees for such international transfers but if you decide to donate this way it's also great ❤️
We will be soooo grateful if you decide to help these poor dogs 🥺🥺🙏🙏
So yeah. I donated my b-day money (I saved it for my b-day party, but I got work so it'll not happen) to a local dog shelter. Tho after I donated, ladies from dog shelter gave me a full bag of home-made gingerbread cookies (about 10 small bags, 1 big bag) (they gave me it as a "thank you" gift).
Look at them all. So many and so beautiful awwww 🍪
Merry Christmas to you all, also for dogs (I enjoyed the cookies). Remember to help your local dog shelters. Dogs needs food and blankets ❤️✨
“When I first heard it, from a dog trainer who knew her behavioral science, it was a stunning moment. I remember where I was standing, what block of Brooklyn’s streets. It was like holding a piece of polished obsidian in the hand, feeling its weight and irreducibility. And its fathomless blackness. Punishment is reinforcing to the punisher. Of course. It fit the science, and it also fit the hidden memories stored in a deeply buried, rusty lockbox inside me. The people who walked down the street arbitrarily compressing their dogs’ tracheas, to which the poor beasts could only submit in uncomprehending misery; the parents who slapped their crying toddlers for the crime of being tired or hungry: These were not aberrantly malevolent villains. They were not doing what they did because they thought it was right, or even because it worked very well. They were simply caught in the same feedback loop in which all behavior is made. Their spasms of delivering small torments relieved their frustration and gave the impression of momentum toward a solution. Most potently, it immediately stopped the behavior. No matter that the effect probably won’t last: the reinforcer—the silence or the cessation of the annoyance—was exquisitely timed. Now. Boy does that feel good.”
