So, I've been talking with @akirathedramaqueen a bit and something that came up is that some of the antis/'critics' actually somehow think that Blitz's feelings for Stolas in s2 e8 and e9 came out of nowhere. (This version of the post with images will be posted in a reblog because IT'S GETTING SMITED OFF THE TAGS AGAIN!)
So I just want to articulate my thoughts on why I think that the people saying things like that are just wrong.
So, we've all heard of the phrase "show, not tell" right? We know that helluva boss does this quite a lot.
Let's start at s1 e5, just look at Blitz blush, listen to Blitz fumble up his words so much trying to explain that it's a quote "It's a transactional fucking, you see.". This combined with Moxxie and Millie reacting the way they do while Blitz is fumbling up his words trying to explain his relationship with Stolas to Striker, points to our first hint that the relationship is a bit more than 'transactional fucking.'.
Also, this implies that when Blitz goes to stop Striker from killing Stolas, it meant more to Blitz than just Striker 'killing Blitz's easiest lengthy ticket to Earth', it tells us that Blitz cared for Stolas' well-being.
Now, lets look at s1 e7, we see a picture of Stolas sleeping that Blitz took at some point. This further shows us that Blitz has always cared for Stolas.
Another thing that shows us that Blitz cares for Stolas is the ending of s1 e8. 'I dunno, jus- ...lonely... Die alone...' '*mumbling* Millie... Moxxie... Stolas...' The fact that Blitz says Stolas' name here just really tells us that Blitz cares for Stolas as well.
s2 e4, the infamous "He can get hurt?" line. The sheer shock, worry and concern for Stolas Blitz has in this scene also further points to the fact that Blitz cares for Stolas.
And hell, even s2 e6 points to Blitz caring about Stolas, which we can clearly see by the fact that Blitz's face drops when he says 'It's a novelty to him.', because as apology tour proves with this line 'Oh, sorry, this entire time I assumed the worst because I was convinced a prince could never love someone like me and I've let my self hatred stop me from apologizing to anyone I could ever care about!', Blitz's self hatred stopped him from properly considering the possibility that Stolas might care for him back, which is exactly why Blitz sighs and his face drops into this sort of sad look when he says that it's a novelty to Stolas. Blitz doesn't want it to be 'nothing else'.
It's really a 'I believe your subconscious is trying to tell you that you simply cannot fathom proper intimacy, but… also crave it as well.' type deal we're dealing with here. Blitz craves that intimacy, but cannot fathom receiving it, so that's why Blitz's face drops here. Which in my eyes, really convinces me that Blitz has had feelings for Stolas before s2 e8 and e9.
In conclusion: I believe that people pushing the argument that 'Blitz's feelings for Stolas came out of nowhere in s2 e8 and e9' are wrong.

WHO WANTS TO HEAR ME RAMBLE ABOUT GAY FURRY DEMON SEX? XD
(damn, there's a sentence I never thought I'd say....)
Okay...so I see some Stolitz confusion and bashing online and I need to type up a defense here because I won't be able to sleep otherwise lol
I consider myself to be a Ship Critic and someone who takes shipping rather seriously.
What I mean by this is, I like to analyze and break down romantic relationships between fictional characters because it's just interesting to write for me. I especially take delight in friendly debating with opinions that I strongly do *not* agree with.
Let me start off by saying I am NOT a "this ship is awesome because gay furry sex lol" type of girl.
FAR from it. I'm generally more passionate about hetero ships between human characters (because I can relate to them more) among other reasons. So if you wanna dismiss my defense as "shallow fangirlism", you can forget about that lame excuse.
I fell in love with Hazbin Hotel when it was finally released in February and suffered waiting for each new two-parts per week. During that time, I decided to watch Helluva Boss as well, after a friend showed me a particularly soul-crushing clip (Moxxie's childhood trauma about his mother).
Yes, I like funny sex jokes as much as the next goofy adult but scenes like this, scenes that carry a very heavy emotional weight are what really get me in the end, even moreso when VERY little dialogue is exchanged. I knew I had to watch the entire episode run after seeing that the creators had a talent for this.
I saw people asking:
"How did Stolas go from using Blitz as a sex toy to being painfully in love with him?"
Oh I can tell you. I can tell you the EXACT moment this is revealed. But it's not spoon-fed to you; it's quite subtle actually and this is why lots of people miss it.
See, one of the strongest talents Vivenne has shown me is that she REALLY knows how to get her characters to communicate their feelings to the viewers JUST from their expressions and body language. These can be 'blink-and-miss-it' teeny little scenes and it may require a couple rewatches.
But since people demand time stamps for all information others post here, I'll rewatch a few scenes from S1 E7 'Ozzie's' as I'm typing this.
'Ozzie's' remains to be not just my favorite episode of HB...but probably my favorite episode of any adult-targeted animated show outside of Japan (aside from S2 E7's Mid-Season Special)
It has this huge reveal for both Blitzo and Stolas.
We'll first address Blitzo's irrational, stalkerish behavior of Moxxie and Millie.
He's obsessed with them. He finds both of them very attractive, fantasizes about threesomes with them and is constantly inserting himself into their personal lives.
Why?
Because they have everything that he badly badly wants for himself.
They have the perfect marriage and he is trying to live THROUGH them.
This was hilarious to me at the beginnning of the show but it's slowly revealed that it's one of the most tragic and depressing things I've ever seen. And it's scarily realistic too.
But you know this already so let's move on...
Blitzo follows the couple to Ozzie's but he can't get in without a date. So he calls up Stolas and yes, this is very low but he doesn't realize how much this means to Stolas (hell, I'm not sure even Stolas realizes it himself!) but the owl man is giddy with joy, he rushes over and they enter Ozzie's.
When Ozzie and Fizz mock Moxxie for being so sappy towards his wife, this strikes a chord with Blitzo (because they're his IDEAL relationship) and he speaks up to defend them.
NOW PAY CLOSE ATTENTION; THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART:
Fizz, still holding onto his past grudge turns on Blitzo to humilate him:
"Some nerve you got commenting on a relationship"
Time Stamp: 11:37
As Fizz says "-ship", Blitzo VERY QUICKLY makes eye contact with Stolas who has a look of panic on his face. Blitzo is seeking VALIDATION from Stolas in this sharp, subtle second of screentime, as if to ask
"Well, ARE we in one?"
And then what happens next...Stolas remains silent, Blitzo's ex joins in to announce how selfish Blitzo was in bed with her, tearing him down further. Stolas stands up like he's going to put a stop to it but then Ozzie notices him and interrogates him about sleeping with Blitzo.
Blitzo looks incredibly ashamed and guilty as Stolas blushes with similar feelings...and hides his face behind his menu; HIS BIGGEST MISTAKE IN THE SERIES SO FAR.
Time Stamp: 12:24
The look on Blitzo's face as he grits his teeth and darts his eyes away basically says
"Yeah, I should have known...boy am I an idiot for trusting him to stand up for me".
(look how SHOCKED he is...wow, this hurts fr ;_;)
This is a silent betrayal on Stolas's part. Afterall, his reputation is on the line, so if he were to defend Blitzo, it confirms they are in fact, dating. He chose his pride over Blitzo and Blitzo is crushed by this betrayal.
Moxxie finishes his song and kisses his wife tenderly. Stolas watches this and also wants to have an affectionate moment with Blitzo (who is rightfully glaring daggers at him) and tries to reach for his hand.
Blitzo rejects his touch and suggests they leave. As they do, Blitzo still looks furious and hurt. Stolas is now realizing how badly he screwed up with a "What have I done?" face (13:41)
He even looks disappointed with himself.
After Blitzo drops Stolas off, he thanks him and tries to smooth over the awkwardness with sweet talk but Blitzo just rolls his eyes in disgust and pulls on his face like "I don't want to hear this bullshit".
He responds coldly and curtly, "Yeah." Stolas makes more suggestions to spend time with him, which just makes him even angrier and he snaps
"I'm not fucking you tonight, okay!
I'm really just..." (14:28)
he pauses to wipe a tear because at this point he can barely hold it together (top notch voice acting and animation directing btw)
"...not in the mood, Stolas."
Stolas still tries to talk him into doing couple things unrelated to sex.
Blitzo's face switches back to anger and frustration because Stolas isn't getting the message so he goes for the blunt tactic;
"Stolas, don't act like what we have is anything but YOU wanting ME to fuck you, okay?"
(14:42)
"You make that really clear all the time."
(again his voice sounds like he's about to break down)
"But I-I just can't do it tonight, okay?"
(Finally meets his eye)
"...I'm sorry."
I believe this is code for "I'm sorry we're even in this situation and how your reputation got damaged. " Or, more painfully, "I'm sorry I'm such an embarrassment to you".
Stolas replies "Okay" and takes a deep breath to compose himself. They say goodnight and depart.
An important note here is that Stolas calls him "Blitzo" instead of "Blitzy" to show more respect.
As Blitzo zooms away coldly, Stolas looks up at the sky with tears in his eyes, surprised at how much it hurts.
He then sits down with his head in his hands in anguish...because he's getting that
"Oh...no. These feelings are real" epiphany.
And as if this wasn't enough angst, Blitzo collapses onto his couch at home, goes through the memories on his phone and starts sobbing.
I'm going to be real with you; this is the most heart-breaking shit I have ever seen in an adult show of this type. It's also the first time a show of this type got me to cry.
The last six minutes have revealed so much information without spoonfeeding it to the audience because the show RESPECTS its audience.
To recap:
*Blitzo takes Stolas on a first official date to use him
*Stolas is extremely happy about it
*Blitzo gets humilated and looks to Stolas for validation
*Stolas betrays him and breaks his heart
*Blitzo snaps that their relationship is nothing more than lust-driven sex
*Stolas realizes he's actually in love with Blitzo and it's a huge problem because (he believes) that it's unrequited.
*Blitzo breaks down because the ONE person whom he thought would protect him didn't do so.
So these two are convinced that neither one loves the other...while the irony is, it's quite the opposite.
Because if Blitzo REALLY didn't feel anything towards Stolas, he would not have gotten this emotional.
Yes, they are both lonely...but I really don't think that's all there is between them.
So..........we know WHEN they started falling...now the question is why;
I think the answer's quite simple; single-target affection.
It was mentioned in S2 that Stolas and Stella did sleep together ONE TIME...but Stolas didn't enjoy it at all. He is stuck with a wife who hates him so much that she put a HIT on him...and a daughter who thinks he's a loser. Blitzo is pretty much the one person in his life who is able to make him happy. That one small, bright spot. He enjoys the sex with him but he also simply enjoys his company, as shown in Ozzie's episode. He is thrilled to simply talk to him about his day...and do anything else that couples do. They're complete opposites. Stolas is an intellectual but naive and sheltered. Blitzo is poorly educated but cynical and street-smart. Opposites attract...though this is likely more from Stolas's POV than Blitzo's.
In other words, Stolas is into bad boys xD lmao
In Blitzo's case, Stolas is the only character who shows him physical affection which he desperately craves. He's pretty tsundere about it most of the time...but I think he actually does enjoy that attention...especially when he's always getting disrespected by Moxxie and Loona..and quite a lot of people around him. BUT he's too scared to get serious with anyone because of past trauma and he also believes that no one could possibly love him as a person. :(
Reasons I Think This Love is Real
Aside from what I pointed out in the Ozzie's episode...there's quite a lot of evidence, esp from Stolas's POV.
After he realizes he's in love, he goes to Asomodeous for an ALTERNATIVE method for Blitzo to use so they will no longer sleep together. He wants to set Blitzo free. Which means he DOES truly love him because love is about being generous to the other person. He COULD be totally selfish about it but he isn't.
Asomodeous mentions how against love potions he is and Stolas agrees. He thinks that's out of the question.
'Look My Way' music video. Lol I don't have to say anything more.
In S2 E6 OOPS
This exchange at 16:57
Fizz: Seems your taste has gotten more 'regal', lately?
Blitz: Yeah, well unlike you, I fuck who I want WHEN I want. I'm not gonna be tied down to some big blue-blood asshole.
Fizz: You coulda fooled me the way Prince was cozying up to you at Ozzie's.
Blitz (gets very defensive) HEY! Stolas only cares about have a rugged peasant raw-dog him into his mattress, okay!
It's nothing...(gets hesistant and looks away)...you know...
(Fizz gives him a 'bitch please' look xD)
"it's nothing else."
Fizz: Then why were you even there?
Blitz: OTHER very important reasons of course.
Fizz: Whatever. I don't actually care.
Blitz: Stolas is just a loud, thirsty BITCH!
(Fizz is rolling his eyes again)
Blitz: He loves feeling the thrill of getting dicked by the lower class.
It's a novelty to him.
Fizz: LITERALLY just said I don't care!
Blitz: And then he'll call me and try to see how my day was!
And he'll pretend to care about me and comment on my photos laugh at my jokes...
Fizz: (Smirking) OH! That's definitely your clue right there that it's all bullshit!
Blitz: I KNOW, RIGHT??
Fizz: (Making a 'What in idiot' expression, shaking his head)
Blitz: HE'S JUST A FAKE, PRIVELEDGED ASSHOLE...
Fizz: Sounds like you just hate him for being a prince!
No one (laughs) and I mean NO ONE pretends to care that much just for a cheap lay.
All right. IF ANYONE knows what real love is like, it's Fizzaroli...who is in a very HEALTHY relationship with Asomodeous. He recognizes the signs because he's IN that place. He sees it...and he's annoyed that Blitzo keeps denying it and brushing it off...yet clearly can NOT stop talking about Stolas (amusing irony)
To sum up (this freaking essay lol) 'Stolitz' ABSOLUTELY has the potential to be pure and true...these two just need to communicate...or Stolas has to PROVE to Blitzo that he's serious about his feelings in another way.
There is no doubt that this ship is 100% endgame and is a case of the 'Earn Your Happy Ending' Trope. I look forward to the rest of the journey. Ron is putting my feelings about Stolitz in a perfect phrase:
#shipping#helluva boss#blitzø#stolas#stolitz#blitzo x stolas#stolas x blitz#vivziepop#animation#man they really have a firm grip on my heart#it's so strange to me lol#OH THE ANGST

Burnt (part 2)
Part 1 Part 3
Charlie takes you to a show, and you are confronted by your past.
Tags: Alastor x female reader, Blitzø x female reader, eventual smut, lots of angst, panic attacks, drug use, Charlie and Angel Dust being the best friends a reader could ask for
wc: 3,244
This takes place after S1 of Hazbin Hotel and before Helluva Boss S2 E7 Mammon's Magnificent Musical Mid-Season Special. I don't know if that timeline is canon, but it's what works for my story so that's what I'm doing.
You can also read this on AO3 here if you'd prefer.
Minors DNI!!!
Fuck.
This was not fucking happening.
Your muscles stiffened the moment you stepped outside of the bright pink limousine that took Charlie and you to the show. A tingling sensation crawled up the tips of your fingers as you realized the mistake you had made, not asking the princess who you were seeing in the first place. Now you found yourself facing a grand concert hall adorned with a gigantic banner for the most famous clown in all the seven rings of Hell, the great Fizzarolli.
Your chest tightened at the sight of him plastered on every available surface in the general vicinity. It had been impossible to ignore one of the most well-known faces in Hell, but you did your best to shove down all the emotions that just the mention of his name evoked from you. But here, surrounded by all these pictures of your long-lost friend, it was just too much.
A high-pitched ringing filled your ears, drowning out all the noise of the city as well as your heartbeat thrumming in your chest. After thanking the driver, Charlie grabbed your hand and pulled you towards a side door away from the main entrance. You let her tug you along, not trusting your own feet to carry your weight. You could vaguely hear her say, “Being the princess of Hell comes with some perks” through the buzzing in your ears.
She led you up a small flight of stairs, into an elevator that sped towards the top floor and through a doorway guarded by security and a red velvet rope. The whole time you wracked your brain for a way out, but you came up with nothing. Your mind was about as useless as soup, alphabet soup. The letters only came together to form self-hating words and phrases that were not helpful right now: Idiot. You should have known better. Coward. This is on you. Traitor. It’s all my fault. That last one is the only one not in your own cruel voice.
The room you found yourself in was elegant, almost entirely built of glass walls along with an open front window facing the stage. If you weren’t brimming with dread and starting to feel a bit nauseous, you would be giddy with excitement at the prospect of seeing a live performance from these luxurious box seats, fit for demon royalty. Growing up an imp from a poor family, you never dreamt of being somewhere like this – getting to see how the other half lives.
Velvet couches faced the stage with a few cocktail tables brimming with finger foods interspersed throughout the room. A fully stocked bar took up the back wall, complete with a bartender who didn’t appear to be drinking (or sleeping) on the job. A part of you wished Husk was behind the bar instead to bring some much needed comfort from your new life into this blast from the past. “Soooo what do you think? Isn’t it amazing?!” Charlie asked excitedly, waving her hands around as if she couldn’t keep her happiness to just her beaming smile.
Someone else entered the room before you could answer saving you for a few more moments. You didn’t know how it was possible, but Charlie’s face lit up even more when she saw them. “Uncle Ozzie!” she practically screamed as you turned to face the person who had joined you in what you had thought was a private space. You would have recognized him even if Charlie hadn’t said the name – though, you didn’t know him personally. Asmodeus, the King of Lust.
Your friend did a running jump into his arms, wrapping him in a great big bear hug. He reciprocated the tight embrace, planting a chaste kiss on the top of her blonde head before settling back down on the floor as if she were a child and not the tall, lanky thing before you.
“It’s always a pleasure to receive one of your strangling hugs Charlie.” His voice was as deep and smooth as you imagined the finest bourbon. “I’m so glad you finally made it to one of Fizz’s shows! How’s that dear old dad of yours? Haven’t seen him in quite a while.”
Charlie talked with THE embodiment of Lust as if he was a close family friend, but your mind wouldn’t let go of the familiarity in which he said Fizz’s name. You knew at that moment that the gossip columns you tried your best to avoid were right. Hell’s worst-kept secret was true. The powerful demon had a much more intimate relationship with your old friend than just working together on the popular sexbots made in Fizz’s image.
“Forgive me, I should introduce you two,” Charlie said. At the mention of your name, you thought you saw something — maybe a flicker of recognition in his eyes. You wondered if Fizz told him about you. But you quickly pushed the thought away, not wanting to think of what he would have revealed to the powerful demon now standing before you.
The show was about to begin, and Asmodeus motioned to you two to join him on the couch. You complied, but you were still on edge, trying to decide the best way to get out of this situation without offending Charlie who so sweetly invited you out tonight.
After all these years apart, you were about to see Fizz perform with his secret beau sitting only a princess of Hell away. You tried to ignore him, the way he looked at you as if you were a puzzle to be solved. Looking out into the crowd below was worse. Fans decked in merchandise featuring Fizz’s name and likeness filled the seats. They were screaming his name, cheering him on even before he appeared on stage. Some of the freaks were even debauching their sexbots right there in the crowd.
It was still hard to think of all the freaks who had their hands on him (even robot versions of him) since the last time you touched him. The overt sexualization of Fizz made you feel even sicker than you were before if that was even possible. You had seen it all before, but only in small doses. You even came across several of his robot clones throughout the years but did your best to steer clear of them at all costs. If you ever did, you had to remind yourself repeatedly that it wasn’t him – even if the RoboFizzs looked identical in every way.
But he was everywhere here. His name, his face, his fucking body. His body. Just thinking about what the fire did to his body made bile rise in your throat. And what they did and are probably still doing to his body today. The room started to spin the more you got lost in your thoughts, you gripped the armrests to ground yourself. That’s when you noticed Asmodeus eying your nails digging into the supple velvet.
The curtains parted and his small figure appeared center stage. Your stomach lurched and you felt tears coming. Damn, you’ve already cried so much today. You didn’t think your ego could handle it anymore. But it was too much. His arms and legs stretched out to unnatural lengths as he said something, but you couldn’t hear it over the sound of your heartbeat and the roaring crowd. That’s it. I’m out of here, you thought. “I’m going to the bathroom,” you ran towards the door cradling your stomach. Charlie jumped up to show you the way, you assumed, but you bolted towards the door before she could catch up to you.
Once you locked yourself in the bathroom stall, you fell forward releasing the contents of your stomach into the toilet bowl. It burned – probably from the hot sauce – and tears stuck tufts of your hair to your forehead. You tried to pull at your hair to keep it from falling into the bowl as you retched, but it was no use. You were a mess.
The knock at the stall door didn’t startle you. You knew who it was. “You know there’s a private bathroom a bit closer to our seats…” she paused as if reconsidering what to say. “Can I help you?” You gave in because damn you really did need help. You fumbled at the lock on the door until it opened, and she was down on the floor by your side.
“I can hold your hair back for you,” and with that, she took the ribbon from her hair and tied it around your own. Even with it tied back she gently held your hair keeping it from falling over your shoulders as you continued to throw up.
Once your stomach was emptied of everything that you had eaten that day, you lay your head against the wall and let yourself cry. “I’m sorry you’re missing the show,” you choked out.
“Shh, it’s okay. I can come back any time,” she cooed. She took your hands in hers and just held them in silence as you continued your embarrassing meltdown. After a few minutes, she asked, “Do you think it’s something you ate?”
“No—uh, yeah. Maybe?” You said, shaking your head. You just blew your best excuse. Why hadn’t you thought about feigning sickness? Probably because your brain was just about as functioning as that summer when you spent all your earnings on heroin and horse tranquilizers. That would be preferred to how you were feeling right now.
Charlie moved in closer to your side, wrapping your shaking body up in her long limbs and rubbing soothing circles into your sore muscles. “Would it help to talk about it?” she asked. “If you don’t want to, I understand. I can tell you’re holding a lot in. But if you’re not ready, you’re not ready.”
You were so used to holding it all in. Holding it all back. Her comforting presence made you think that if you opened up just a bit, it may provide some relief. But you wouldn’t crack, you knew better. If you told her everything, she would never look at you the same way again. You couldn’t lose her or the hotel. They were the only things that gave your life a purpose anymore. “I’m not ready,” you said. She didn’t frown or let disappointment show on her face, but you imagined that she expected you to open up. She lived for those sappy heart-to-heart conversations that you avoided at all costs.
Charlie sat with you on the floor of the bathroom in silence until you were ready to leave. She explained that she just needed to say goodbye to Asmodeus and then the two of you could go back to the hotel.
Once you were back in the private room, you hung back while she told him you weren’t feeling well. Charlie had done a good job at helping you fix up your makeup and hair in the bathroom, but you knew the demon of lust didn’t have to be very perceptive to know why you had missed the start of the performance.
Before you could escape the door, his eyes locked with yours. His gaze startingly soft. “Charlie has my number if you would ever like to see Fizz. I can speak with him.” He danced around it as if not wanting to reveal anything, but you knew. The fact that he said see and not meet. He knew something and this was an invitation.
The ride back was silent as stared out the back window, thinking about what Asmodeus said the whole way home. What did it mean really? Was there a possibility that Fizz didn’t hate you? Or that he could forgive you? You couldn’t even begin to wrap your mind around it.
You walked into the hotel lobby, expecting to have to make up an excuse for why you were back hours early. Luckily, it was just Husk asleep with a half-empty bottle of liquor behind the bar. Charlie pulled you in for one last hug, reminding you that if you needed anything she would be there before the two of you went your separate ways.
Once you were in the privacy of your room, you slumped on your newly made bed. You didn’t bother to bathe or change before you curled up into a ball. You wouldn’t cry, you couldn’t. You had already shed more tears today than you had in your entire life. More than after the fire. More than when you learned your parents died. More than when Fizz refused to see you. More than when he left.
Sleep didn’t come. No matter how many times you tried to empty your mind of all the thoughts clouding it. You squeezed your eyes shut, but the darkness behind your eyelids gave way to Fizz’s face. Seeing it plastered on every poster in the concert hall and briefly on stage before you made a run for the bathroom brought back so many memories. His little head tossed back in a fit of giggles, that smirk he threw your way amid a round of applause and those wide eyes full of hope before you turned your back on him.
After tossing and turning in bed for over an hour, you gave up. You tiptoed to your dresser where you found your hidden stash in your underwear drawer. Sitting astride the open windowsill that looked out on Pentagram City, you thought about how you found comfort in the place you least expected.
As you exhaled smoke, the tension in your body released a little. A few more inhales silenced your unquiet mind, letting you focus on the better parts of the day. Like Angel rushing to your side in the morning. And how kind it was of Charlie to invite you out in the first place. And was that a compliment you received from Alastor – of all the sinners in Hell? That overlord may have come from Earth, but the stories about his reign of terror preceded him.
A soft knock at your door had you scrambling to put your joint out and hide it along with the rest of your stash behind a curtain. Probably not the smartest move, but you weren’t exactly thinking clearly.
The door creaked open, and the top of Angel’s head peaked into your room, “It’s just me. Don’t worry the fun police is fast asleep.” You sighed in relief. Though you had a feeling Charlie would have been a bit more understanding of your rule-breaking after the day you had. “Is that fuckin’ grass, babe? What are we in the fourth grade?” the spider teased.
“It helps with the nausea… and my nerves,” you said tossing your hair out of your face before relighting what was left of your joint. You motioned for him to join you if he wanted. Though, you had a feeling he would have preferred some of his namesake or at least some Devil’s Dandruff as Charlie liked to call it.
For all that teasing, the porn demon still didn’t refuse a high. Angel joined you on the windowsill and took what was left of the joint you offered him as you lit another. “I saw Charlie earlier,” he said slowly between puffs as if he was trying not to rile a rabid animal. “Are you feeling any better?”
“Yeah, some.” You mumbled, perfectly content with smoking in silence but also not hating the company. Angel looked out at the skyline, gazing over all the bright glittering lights from all the buildings filled with sinners who never seemed to sleep.
“Why did you come here?” He asked. “You could’ve gone anywhere in Hell, but you moved to this tacky-ass hotel.” You smiled, knowing it was all a façade. Maybe he crashed at the hotel for a free rent at first but since you’ve gotten to know him, you knew he cared about it, about Charlie and her dream of redeeming sinners. “We don’t even know if sinners can get into Heaven.”
“I know there’s no way for imps to get into Heaven. That’s not why I’m here.” You let out a sigh. “But there are other ways to redeem yourself even if you’re not getting anything out of it.”
“Isn’t that the whole point of redemption?” Your immediate thought was no, but you did technically want redemption for selfish reasons even if they weren’t the same as his.
“I guess, but I’m not trying to get into heaven. I just wanted to help, and I thought it might help me find some relief.”
“Relief from what?”
“All the guilt.” You looked down at your lap, knowing it sounded stupid.
Angel cackled. “What do you have to be guilty of? You’re a fucking demon.”
“Well, I’ve killed more than I can count.”
“Ha! Haven’t we all?”
“True. And I don’t feel guilty for most of it.”
“Then, what is it?”
Although the conversation was getting a bit too serious for your liking, you felt like you owed him some truth. “I hurt the people I love. And even after losing everything, I keep doing it over and over again.”
Angel’s expression grew serious, and he thought for a moment before speaking. “We all do that. It comes with the territory.”
“No, you don’t understand.” You looked away from him. “It’s different.”
“Everyone thinks they’re different, hon. You’re not special.”
“I guess.” You pouted, wanting this conversation to be over. Maybe you could change the subject to something else. “Alastor complimented me today…” You noticed the time on the alarm clock beside your bed. “Or I guess, yesterday.”
“Al complimented you?! Didn’t know he had it in him. Are you sure he wasn’t sizing you up for a meal? What’d he say?”
“He said I looked absolutely divine,” you used your best impression of the radio demon when saying those two words.
“Oh, yeah. He totally wants to eat you.” You giggled, but Angel went on. “And not in a sexy way. I don’t think he’s interested. I would know because he keeps turning me down. Me!”
“Maybe he plays for another team,” you mused.
“Or he doesn’t even play the game at all. Because anyone would be all over this.” He emphasized his point by motioning to his body and doing a slutty little hip thrust that almost shifted him out the window. You grabbed him by the shoulders to make sure he didn’t fall as you tried to contain your laughter.
“You’re right. Anyone who refuses you is out of their mind!” You leaned your head on his shoulder.
“Hey, don’t mock me. You know it’s true. I’m surprised we haven’t hooked up yet.” He wiggled his eyebrows.
“I like you too much, Angie. I haven’t had a real friend in a long time, and I wouldn’t want to ruin it.” You also had a feeling he’d much rather be fucking Husk or Al than messing around with you.
“Why would it ruin it?” He leaned into you seductively, close enough that your lips were almost touching. “C’mon, it’d be hot,” he purred.
“Don’t think I haven’t thought about it,” you crooned. “Maybe someday, but not today.” You could see it being fun, but that’s all it would be. And although you weren’t a saint, you tried to avoid those kinds of situations now.
You nuzzled into the crook of his neck, wondering if Angel knew how much you needed this distraction.
Thank you so much for reading! Hope you enjoyed it. I know Alastor isn't in this chapter but he'll be back, I promise. And if you're patiently waiting for Blitzø, don't worry I am too. I had to post this so I would stop worrying about it and finally be able to focus on the next part. It may have a little bit of spice. But shhhh... you didn't hear that from me.

Fizzarozzie have a good character dynamic actually (and are decent characters overall)
There comes a time, in whatever fandom you’re in, that you come across some takes made by people which makes you think right away ‘are we watching the same show?’. Takes made on storylines, characters and but most of all ships. Recently I came across, multiple shared takes regarding Fizzarolli and Asmodeus from Helluva Boss. Two secondary cast characters who have interacted in a total of three episodes as of writing this. These takes were presented as a negative and included the following: . Fizz and Ozzie’s personality isn’t the same after their first introduction and that’s a bad thing. . Fizz acts too childish and therefore can be perceived as child-coded as well as it infantilizes gay men. . Fizz and Ozzie have a sugardaddy/sugarbaby dynamic and that’s a bad thing. . Twink boyfriend and strong boyfriend dynamic is fetishsizing gay men. I, personally and thus in my opinion, don’t agree with any of these takes. Hence this character analysis post to debunk all of this points. I’ll try to keep this as objective as possible. I also can’t really make a solid point on the last take and partially on take two, since I’m a bi disaster and not a gay man, so I can’t stand on that soapbox to claim if a fictional character is toxic or bad representation or fuel for the fetishsizing of gay and queer men from their experience and standpoint. (But I did do some Google research and apparently what is meant by the fetishation of gay men, is that the tropes of how a gay man is portrait in media, for example anime, manga, sitcoms, movies, is carried over to irl gay men and as such they are treated like an accessory or less like a person. Slash shippers seem to be most notorious for this. Source: {link} {link} {link} Again. Can’t say how much of the claim adds to an already fictional gay couple in a show filled with LGBTQ+ characters…but still not my soapbox to stand on.) Feel free to add on to this post if one so desires. This ended up being a 5 page doc though so it's a long one.
Fizz and Ozzie’s personality isn’t the same after their first introduction and that’s a bad thing. A point made by some people who dislike the way this ship has progressed because the next time we see them after their introduction in S1E7, they seem to have made a 180 in personality traits. While S1 E7 shows us these two are a team when it comes to performing and supporting each other in the club. From their duet where Fizz adds on to what Ozzie is singing and physically holds him up during one segment of it, to Ozzie not stopping Fizz when he calls out Blitz and even pointing out that Stolas ‘threw away his life for a thrust’. Which is followed by ‘that’s the spirit of lust’ and thus probably not perceived as a bad thing since he is the embodiment of lust and all that. Though it does come across as Stolas being chastised for that from his and Blitz’ pov and their body language reflects that. S1 E7 basically just shows us that Fizz isn’t afraid to call someone out on their bullshit. That he is snarky and spiteful towards Blitz. That he’s not above making fun of someone while on stage what we see him do to Moxxie. Which is also what he does being the jester character and all. A clown makes people laugh by making fun of himself, a jester makes people laugh by making fun of other people. Asmodeus is pretty much the same in that episode. Standing by lust over love and reinforcing that when it comes to the acts for his club. Calling out Moxxie in his song etc. At a first viewing the audience may walk away seeing them both as an antagonist towards our main cast with how they acted towards them. Kicking M&M out of their club over a love song. Calling out Blitz as being a disgrace in a public setting. Stolas being put in the spotlight for being there with an imp. So I do kind of get why some people figured their whole character changed when we see them again in S2 E6 and E7 and they are portrayed as this lovey dovey couple without the snark and the spite. Most importantly, also without an in universe audience. While we see Ozz and Fizz sing together in S1. Their interactions together are less direct. They don’t have a conversation with each other and the most we see is how physically they interact to give us any clue on what their relationship and dynamic actually is. Fizz tends to curl around Ozzie’s arm.
Ozzie is visibly worried and shaken when Fizz gets bonked on the head by Millie.
They share a brief cuddle with each other at the end of Moxie’s song. Even during their song there are hints that they aren’t as antagonistic as they might appear to be.
Aside from the earlier mentioned backhanded praise towards Stolas for embracing his lust, they give Moxxie the chance to change his song from a love song into one about lust for the sake of the audience and seeing that’s how the club just rolls. Only getting the insults when he sticks to his guns and keeps the song sweet and about the love he has for Millie. So there are snippets there to show us they aren’t unreasonable characters and a little softer towards each other than what they show others. The next time we see them is in a private setting and we as the audience, learn they are madly in love and hiding it from the public (badly) because the sin of lust shouldn’t be in love and least of all with an imp. But there are no prying eyes so they can let their walls down and this is the result. We still see bits and pieces of what was set up in S1 E7 though. Fizz isn’t afraid to be a little snarky when trying to convince Ozzie to let him go out without an escort.
He’s spiteful towards Blitz when they meet again and only softens up towards him when he’s learned about the other side of what happened during the circus fire.
We even see less of that in S2 E7. But by then he’s kind of patched things up with Blitz and the reason to be snarky and spiteful and resentful towards him is gone. So we get witty comeback banter instead the few times they interact in that episode. He’s also thrown in a completely different setting compared to the previous episode and we get to see how he acts in a work stress filled environment. A flashback even tells us Fizz has self worth issues and needs reassurance from those he cares about. In his childhood that was Blitz and now that person is Ozzie.
The same flashback shows us that he gets really anxious when backed into a corner or in the case of the scenario being jumped on by a creepy fan. With Ozzie we see how he takes his job as embodiment of lust seriously with the work he does in the factory. (S2E6) With making sure Stolas knows lust isn’t about force. Just as he takes it seriously in his club.
We see the spurt of anger he displayed towards M&M near the end of the Ozzie episode come back tenfold when Crimson lets him know he’s got Fizz captured and when the lawyer is getting on his last nerves.
Which also fits because Asmodeous isn’t just the demon of lust but also linked to vengeance and anger as described by The Dictionnaire Infernal, so it makes sense as to why he has a short fuse. {link} This also comes back in S2 E7 when he calls Blitz and gets worked up over Mammon and when he confronts Mammon at the end of the same episode. We also see Ozzie being worried for and even overprotective of Fizz. A small snippet of that we were already shown after Millie knocked Fizz out in S1. So yeah, they aren’t that different compared to their introduction. The setting and who they interact with show different aspects of their personality. It’s just that S2 tends to highlight more aspects of their character because of the Fizz and Blitz miniarc that happened. Fizz acts too childish and therefore can be perceived as child-coded as well as it infantilizes gay men. I can only make educated guesses why some say this. Is it the clown costume? Is it his hyperactive personality? Is it because he lets Ozzie carry him around? Is it the burgers for breakfast thing? Or how Ozzie is overprotective of Fizz which one can argue might be on the border of being a toxic thing in their relationship? All of those things do happen in the show and is shown to the audience. But those things also happen next to the profanity Fizz spews, him drinking alcohol, acting slutty, being serious about his profession as a clown/jester. He also explains, in show, why he’s constantly joking around and acting like he does even in a private setting with Ozzie. “You are with me because of who I am at my best.” To Fizz, at that moment in S2 E7, his best is how he is on stage when he’s performing. How he’s been perceived as Mammon’s brand baby. It wouldn’t be that far fetched to think he might feel a need to uphold that image even when around Ozzie. Hench the jokes first thing in the morning or when Ozzie is repairing his broken arm at the end of Oops. It’s also just a common way of dealing with tension or hide fear or anxiety to crack jokes. Doesn’t make him childish. Makes him a clown coping in his own way. Both Ozzie and Fizz also have an immense height difference between them. While you can see Oz carrying Fizz around as a way of coddling him. Fizz also actively chooses to be carried around by jumping in his arms.
We can let loose all kinds of possibilities on why that is, from the fact that Fizz is disabled and being carried is less daunting on his limbs. Or maybe it’s more from a cinematic standpoint and makes it easier for the animators to not have Ozzie bend over all the time while they’re interacting or need to be kissing for a scene. By being carried, Fizz is also elevated to Ozzie’s level to possibly show that they see each other as equals in their relationship. Or the more simple possible reason, it’s a way to play around with their height difference and nothing more. Since it’s happened more than once, I do think it’s an deliberate choice that was being made to have Fizz in Ozzie’s arms frequently. It might even just be there to show that Ozz is the ‘caretaker’ out of both of them.
He’s the one that cooks and he’s worried for Fizz’ safety and he’s the one who reassures him.
Even if Ozzie is overprotective of Fizz, Fizzarolli doesn’t shy away from voicing his opinion and wants. He directly argues against Ozzie’s over protectiveness when it crosses a line for him.
“Come on Ozz, I can be on my own for one day.” (About going to Greed without an escort)
"Mammon’s been my idol since I was five. I’d be letting him down. The fans down.” (Voicing arguments about attending the clown pageant even though Ozz really makes a case on why he shouldn’t.)
So while, yes one might see Asmodeus’ mother hen moments as babying, we never see Fizz actually being fully dependent on Ozzie and the security he gives him. The whole point of S2E7 was that Fizz couldn’t just quit his job because without it he would feel like he would lose all the good things he has. Including Ozzie.
And to be fair, the cutesy moments between them are on par with what Moxxie and Millie have. That’s all. The nicknames, the cooing, the giggling. They are just madly in love with each other your honor and that is far from infantilization. At most annoying to some people I guess. But not infantilization.
Fizz and Ozzie have a sugardaddy/sugarbaby dynamic and that’s a bad thing.
The only time Fizz has ever been called a ‘sugarbaby’ is by Blitz in S2E7 as he implies Ozzie is his sugardaddy.
Fizz still works for his money at that point. Fizz continues to work for his money after that, as we see him salespitching to Blitz in S2E8.
He’s not only Ozzie’s partner partner, but also business partner.
We’ve never seen Ozzie spoil him directly. It might be speculated that’s the case since Ozzie is a King in Hell and all and with his fancy palace and probably being the leading adult toy manufacturer, but we never see him actively spoil Fizz like a sugardaddy does for a sugarbaby so it’s never confirmed.
It’s not ‘Daddy give me your card so I can buy some milk today.’, it was ‘I’ll get some milk today while I’m out.’
Ya’ll seeing things that aren’t in the show.
Twink boyfriend and strong boyfriend dynamic is fetishsizing gay men.
Oh no, it’s like character dynamics have tropes in fiction. I’m sure you’ve seen those posts floating around with the ‘draw your faves or your characters here’ dynamic templates.
The angry gremlin and the optimistic one, or the nerdy one and the jock, or the emo one and the optimistic one, or the short tempered one and the ray of sunshine….etc.
This…is nothing more than that. A dynamic trope.
The feminine one and the masculine one.
Even with that, it’s also obvious that Ozzie has feminine traits too. Guy wears a mini skirt, wears high heels and that high pitched ‘Fizzieeeee’ he let out in S2E6 is everything. So they don’t fall completely in that dynamic trope. But still. It’s fiction. It’s going to rely on tropes to connect easier with the audience. Writing 101.
--------------------
In conclusion, these points are clearly made to nitpick on the show and its creator because hating on a thing is apparently still a whole separate fandom branch these days.
I'm also going to leave this really good video by Georgia Dow, who analyses fictional characters from a psychology standpoint.

The long awaited E8 S1 of Helluva Boss released and I feel like it was completely unnecessary.
Blitz started and ended in a very similar position to E7, just drunk out of his mind and maybe not even remembering how Loona comforted him in the morning because of it.
As for Loona, I think it did give her attention but it didn't really add much to her. She was already established as rough and outcasted but socially anxious and sad, deep down caring for Blitz. It didn't really elaborate on that.
As for the visuals that were hyped up for a long time, yeah clearly Bee-lzebub was what Viv was talking about. Her design is very complex and clearly was a lot to animate. But I'd be lying if I said the animation consistency didn't suffer because of it and I kind of feel like the design was a bit cluttered.
I also feel like it really suffered that she was made a wolf furry with a bee motif rather than a straight up bee. Like it was right there. I'm actually considering redesigning her to be a bit more cohesive and a bee because I was so disappointed. But I did love the honey hair, though I wish it had been the focus instead of competing with so many other elements.
I'm trying to find things about the story I like and I usually can buy this time I'm really stretched. Like, I don't think I liked this episode. At all. I know I've been super critical of HB and I don't want to be, I want to love it like I used to, but I can't. This episode just feels unnecessary and it hurt to say it because I was looking forward to it.

Helluva Boss Theories
Caught up with Helluva Boss and now idk what to do with myself so have some theories!
(Not including my next episode/Asmodean crystal theories cause I already discussed that here)
There are so many plates spinning at this point in the story so here are my current theories/hopes/ideas in where each thread is heading:
Stella (and her brother)
Stella is a simple woman with simple goals - to kill her husband and take all his money (not necessarily in that order).
But as established in S2 E4, if Stella kills Stolas all his money and possessions will pass to Via, leaving Stella with nothing. Of course he also won't give her anything willingly on account of how she, you know, tried to kill him.
This leaves two obvious avenues that I can think of that Stella is likely to take in pursuit of Stolas' fortune:
1. Blackmail - It's only a matter of time before Stolas' deal with Blitzo is going to come back and bite him in the ass. It's pretty much an open secret that he's been loaning out his Grimoire so that Blitzo can illegally access the human world and at some point someone is bound to leverage that fact to their advantage.
As soon as Stella realises (or more likely, her brother points out to her) that this is prime blackmail material, I think she'll jump at the chance to squeeze as much money out of Stolas' as possible.
2. Ransom - I think this is much less likely because it's too similar to previous storylines and is likely to feel repetitive, but Stella could also potentially hire Striker to kidnap Blitzo and demand a ransom in exchange for his safety.
Mammon
Given that S2 E7 ends with Mammon warning Asmodeus that he'll regret crossing him, I imagine that Mammon has a plan of his own that will emerge in future episodes.
I don't know how likely this actually is given it would be pretty large scale and would likely impact the plot of Hazbin Hotel too, but I would love it if this leads to a civil war across Hell.
Mammon is all about money and he'll be losing a lot of it now his top money-maker has publicly decried him (and I doubt Asmodeus will continue production of the Fizzy fuckdolls either).
It could also be an opportunity to finally introduce Satan (Demon of Wrath) and Leviathan (Demon of Envy) as potential allies to Mammon (whose desire for vengeance is motivated in part by the sins they embody), leaving Beelzebub and Belphegor as potential allies to Asmodeus. Of course the other sins might also have beef with each other that we don't know about which could exacerbate the situation further.
Striker
Striker has been a major player in season 2 in particular, popping up over and over again as an antagonist to IMP due Blitzo's connections to Stolas and Fizz respectively.
While he's ostensibly killing for money, he clearly has a more personal agenda stemming from his hatred of the upper class.
At the moment it's hard to know how exactly his plan will come together but in the last episode we saw him approach Crimson with the intention of forming some kind of alliance, though the details weren't specified.
I think this must be the first step in Striker's long term plan to bring down the monarchy and topple the hierarchy of Hell, though how this will play out is unclear.
I don't see the show killing off Stolas but I can imagine Striker's next appearance being in conjunction with the assassination of another royal character like Stella or her brother or even one of the Sins like Mammon or Bea.
I can also picture him trying his hand at kidnapping again in order to lure in a royal target - maybe kidnapping Blitzo or Via to draw in Stolas.
D.H.O.R.K.S
Thanks to IMP's consistent failure to keep a low profile, they've drawn the attention of D.H.O.R.K.S, an organization on Earth that appears to investigate paranormal activities, and as of S1 E6 we know they have video evidence.
I don't see them finding a way to hell without dying but I suspect they'll continue to cause problems during IMP's visits to the surface. They might even find a way to bind or command a demon.
That said, rather than the D.H.O.R.K.S themselves posing a serious threat, I think major consequences for IMP and/or Stolas are more likely to arise from the D.H.O.R.K.S drawing the attention of Higher-Ups in Hell.
What do y'all think?
I'd love to hear alternative theories on where all these storylines are leading!
Do you think all the different threads will end up intersecting?
If so, how do you think they'll tie it all together?

I just thought of something.
In s1 e7 of Helluva Boss, there's a scene where Blitz tries to get into the House of Asmodeus, but he can't because he's alone and it's a club for couples only, so he tries to get the guy at the door to be his date, but the guy just ends up throwing Blitz into a dumpster.
So I thought of:
When Blitz tries to get the guy to be his date: (In a Dungeon Master tone in DND) "Roll a charisma check...Oh, it's a NAT 1. The guy picks you up and throws you into a nearby dumpster."

Helluva Boss: S2 E7 - "You're Gonna Die Alone" Theory
TL;DR at the bottom. Okay, so I was re-watching Helluva Boss S1 E8, and with Oops being out, I think this deserves to be noticed. I'm 90% sure I'm not the only person who noticed this and is theorizing it, but since we might get the episode tomorrow (written Oct. 28th, 2023) I figured I'd suck up my anxiety and just throw this out there. lol
When Blitz is back home from the party with Loona he says that Fizz was right, and that he's gonna die alone. But in Oops, we got proof via flashbacks and dialogue that immediately before the fire, they were on good terms. After that, they didn't meet up again for 15 years, they confirm that when they realize someone (I assume we'll find out exactly who tomorrow/Halloween) made them think the other didn't care anymore immediately following the accident. And at the beginning of Oops Blitz states they've only seen each other twice in 15 years, so at Ozzie's, then running into him at Greed. If we go back to S1 E7 to when Blitz and Fizz first see each other again at Ozzie's, Fizz never said that Blitz would die alone. He commented that his love life "is a pile of shit", but this "die alone" quote didn't come from the disaster at Ozzie's. We did hear it in "Truth Seekers", but it was Blitz repeating it to himself - and before you comment the hallucination of Fizz already had robotic limbs, remember by this point in time we know Blitz is aware of Fizz' robotic limbs since he worked and Loo-Loo land with the robot for awhile. Now, yes, the robot could have said it, but Blitz's emotional reaction when he repeats it makes be believe it was said by the real Fizz.
With the GIFs we're getting, and since frames in "Helluva Boss 2022 Trailer" have all been fulfilled except for the last batch that are just of Ozzie, Fizz, a reference to Mammon, and Blitz/Fizz as teens, I think we're gonna get one more flashback, hopefully with dialogue and more substance. Continuing onto the theory;
These teen Fizz/Blitz frames in particular are what make me think the following: Fizz said this to Blitz back when they were teenagers, but he didn't mean it with malice. From the flashback we just got, Fizz was happy to see Blitz and Blitz appeared to be trying to tell Fizz he had feelings for him. So, if we take into account the image Blitz has of Fizz and him on his phone wearing Mammon-brand clothing, the concert shot could be part of the flashback. Perhaps, on their way to said show or back from it, whatever is making Fizz look happy here might have something to do with adoration of something/someone, the cliché of "love sounds great" comes to mind as a reason, and when Blitz looks away nervously he's probably going to say something about not meeting the right person or just avoiding what would be awkward for him. In response, perhaps Fizz says something the effect of "you're going to die alone if you never try to find someone". If that is what happens, I'll bet this is what gave Blitz the initial push to write that letter he planned to give Fizz. But then of course we got the flashback in Oops and see that didn't really go well.
So, the TL;DR for my theory is: I think we'll get a flashback of Blitz and Fizz when they go to a Mammon concert (maybe a gift for Fizz's birthday before the smaller party in the circus), Fizz makes the comment while they're on an romantic topic or something involving love/adoration, Blitz writes the letter, then loses the courage to actually give it to him when Cash gave Fizz that "wish you were my son" birthday card. Which, hell, of course that probably made Blitz feel even more "less than" compared to Fizz than he already felt. It was just the last straw that confirmed that Fizz was way out of Blitz's league.
Anyway, that's just my opinion, and that's what I think would make the most sense for a flashback portion since Oops only gave us a small explanation and left at least me with just as many questions as answers.

Helluva Boss and it's usage of music, why the sound design is so important and how the music connects things together.
So, I've discussed this subject before but I've been thinking about it again recently and I'd like to go a lot more in depth about it, just so we're all clear, I am not mentioning songs in this at all, things like All 2 U and Two Minutes Notice for example.
Let's start with s1 e7, the scene after the date goes horribly and Stolas is talking to Blitz. Notice when the music piece starts here, it starts right during Stolas' line of "We could... talk.", more specifically starting right as Stolas says the word 'talk', which is one of the most important words in that scene, and the purpose of starting the music piece right at that word is to emphasise that word more, and there's another example of the show doing that to prove this point.
So, Blitz gets home, the music has completely stopped by this point, then the music piece starts up again the moment that Blitz scrolls onto that picture of his mother, which is obviously a very significant thing to Blitz, and us, the viewers, showing once again that they've used that music piece to bring emphasis on specific details, this time it being the picture of Blitz's mother.
That music piece is so great at placing more emphasis on details and being a great mood setter for the scene as well.
Now, let's head to the ending of s1 e8, that one scene where Blitz is talking to Loona on the couch. The same music piece as we just discussed starts up again, after Blitz says "Fuck, Fizz was right.", starting the moment that Blitz's lip starts quivering because he's obviously extremely upset about everything right now, yet again placing heavy emphasis on Blitz's emotions, and the statement he just said. Plus, setting the mood of the scene excellently as well.
S2 E1, but first, keep in mind the specific music piece titled 'Stolas Speaks', first shown during this scene in s1 e1, as it's used three different times if I'm remembering correctly.
Now, let's look at Paimon's introduction, and pay close attention to the music piece used, if you compare that and Stolas Speaks, it becomes obvious that Paimon's theme here is a variation of 'Stolas Speaks', which makes complete sense as Paimon is Stolas' father, and is probably a reoccurring theme across the Goetia as a whole as well.
Quick detour here but, pay attention to the music piece when Cash is talking to Blitz, and also pay attention to how the music piece almost instantly changes when Cash does the fake sadness face, the music piece now giving off a sadder tone compared to before Cash did that face, placing even more emphasis on Cash and his fake sad face.
Anyways, Stolas has just woken up from his drinking session, and we hear what I believe is 'Stolas Speaks' once again, but this time, stripped down to just it's bare bones, the piano that's normally there being completely absent this time. With the piano starting back up again right as Stolas takes the 'happy pills', which is also most likely done to bridge more naturally into the song, and to place more emphasis on Stolas taking the 'happy pills'.
S2 E4, we all remember this scene where Stolas is being wheeled into the hospital, and what we also know is that the first piano note of 'Stolas Speaks' plays right at the scene where the screenshot is taken, time slowing down as Blitz sees Stolas on the stretcher, all to sell the impact of the scene more to you and to place more emphasis on the rapidly approaching realisation to Blitz that Stolas can indeed get hurt.
S2 E8, the moment Stolas starts to place the Asmodean Crystal on Blitz's glove, the same music piece from s1 e7 and s1 e8 starts again (that or the general melody is quite similar), and this is most likely done to compare and contrast the car scene in s1 e7 and this scene in s2 e8.
One more thing I noticed, I may be overthinking this connection but the sparkles in the song that starts right after Stolas says 'be who you are.' really reminds me of that one scene in 'Stolas Sings', like the melodies sound so similar, and the show does that to specifically take you back to that moment in the song, to make you compare and contrast that moment in 'Stolas Sings' to what's happening in the current scene in the full moon.
Now, moving onto the argument, (I'm at the 10 image limit so I'm just gonna have to give you timestamps now lmao), go to 21:52, and notice the music piece starting right after the view you have of the scene changes, right when Stolas' face becomes visible.
Then the piano kicks in, just after Stolas becomes in the focus instead of Blitz, and when his face becomes even more visibly upset.
(Timestamp, 22:05), the piano ends, shortly after the show focuses in on Blitz again and does a close-up on him, the final note timed for the exact moment when Blitz's eyes and face shrinks, the exact moment when Blitz has realised just how badly he's fucked up, with the final note being the heaviest note of them all, to sell the impact of the scene even more, and to place major emphasis on showing you, the viewer, Blitz realising that he's fucked up big time.
S2 E9, pay attention to just how much the music changes when Blitz goes to the different people on his list during his 'Apology Tour', it changes to match specifically who and the area which Blitz is apologising to. But during the two times Blitz checks his phone, both times it being opened to his messages with Stolas, the music piece appears to change, sounding and feeling a lot less upbeat and much more saddening, most likely to reflect Blitz's feelings during those moments when he has his phone open to his messages with Stolas.
In conclusion: I have listed plenty of examples to show just how important the music pieces in the show are to the scenes they're in, and to also show just how interconnected those music pieces are within the show as well, some melodies showing up in multiple episodes throughout the show.

I was rewatching Helluva Boss because of the new episode (s2 e1) and I noticed something completely unrelated to the main plot lmao
You know how in s1 e3 Blitzø says that Moxxie should never let Verosika access any of his holes.... He looks lowkey creeped out and that's telling me something.
With what we know of Blitzø so far, he craves intimacy and imagines it to be pretty similar to the relationship of Millie and Moxxie, even mentioning that they make missionary look "relatively exciting". I wouldn't be surprised if he actually wanted that "gentle love" in his sex life but demons (mainly Verosika and Stolas) he dated weren't into it and made it clear, directly or not, and that made him even more bitter over time, making him become selfish as Verosika mentioned in s1 e7
......idk, just a theory of mine....

I gotta appreciate the people doing the Spanish dub for helluva boss quite a lot, because the dubs are of high quality and they've really surprised me on just how quickly they can do said dubs as well.
Like, the spanish dub for s1 e7 has already been announced to be coming out in less than 24 hours, which also means less than 24 hours BEFORE HOUSE OF ASMODEUS IN SPANISH WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
