So I have 67 followers right now which is wild to me, and I just wanted to say being on Tumblr is a WILD experience. yo hi again! don't know if you're still interested in the whole monkees dubs thing (if so, ignore this lol), but i just found a bunch of episodes in japanese: Find the Monkees, Captain crocodile, Alias Micky Dolenz, and most of Monkee mother (for cap croc and alias they are separated into two parts so that's why the links are separate).

I'm having a lot of fun trying to find these so i'm gonna continue snooping around but I'm also not expecting the whole series to have been dubbed in every language (especially... some episodes). gonna keep you updated on findings :)

OMG!!!! yes i am absolutely interested, I was actually rewatching the italian dub of monkees in manhatten the other day while i crocheted 😁 I did a little digging of my own but really didn't find out much other than the fact that it only started airing in spanish in venezuela and mexico in 1982 (i THINK i cant remember exactly). but anyway you're doing literally invaluable work to me like ive found so much enjoyment in this hunt.....godspeed o7

As the description says, I currently use any pronouns; pronouns work differently in my language, but in English I prefer they/them I think. I'm also ace spec. I use genderqueer label because I have a non-normative experience of gender, but I don't mind other labels.

AAKSJSKDBJDVD THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IM SAYING. NO THEY AREN'T HAPPY THAT'S NOT WHAT IM SAYING.. looking at all of that? Through the lens of it being ROMANTIC? It's TERRIFYING. Ford says, in journal 3, "he is taking advantage of me while I sleep." Like? PARDON? HELLO? THAT'S SO CREEPY... AND NOT JUST A SENTENCE YOU THROW AROUND. The fact that Bill might have CARED? LOVED HIM, EVEN? To think he was trying. To love him and be loved and be good and still FAILED over and OVER is just so. Oh, Ford, just played into his hands, and wanted nothing more to escape but couldn't. It's terrifying and horrible and I think people need to think about that more

Some people don't get it, but for me, like a BIG part of why I actually ship Billford in a specifically romantic fashion is because well... It just makes everything SO MUCH worse and more painful, doesn't it?

Like the fact that Bill CARED about Ford (and this part is certainly cannon, the romanticness of it might be up for debate, but Bill CARED, Bill LIKED him), the concept that Bill LOVED and still LOVES Ford even after all those years, the fact that Ford is the one person in trillions of years that Bill is open with, and that he can relate to, the one person in the entire multiverse he wants to keep, the one person he loves...

And yet, Bill still hurts him, he still betrays him, he still haunts and abuses him...

It just makes Bill so much worse

He CAN care, he CAN love

But that won't stop him from doing awful, violent, twisted things, even to the one person in the whole universe that actually MATTERS to him.

And that just makes it so much more horrifying and honest to goodness tragic

Hello again Sentients! This one had to rush to post once again!

The decryption of the Terran language is done! This one had wondered why the decryption had taken so much longer with Sol-3 when compared to many other known planets… Now that it is done, this one can tell you why.

Sol-3 does not house a language. It houses over six thousand separate languages! Magnitudes more than any other known planets. The previous largest number of languages to a single planet was three.

Epsilonia-4 houses three individual races, each with its own language. But Sol-3… Sol-3 houses only one sentient race. They have been so divided that language has spread out in a fractal. The closer two of the points on this fractal are, the more syntax they share but at either end of the fractal… the languages may as well be in different Stellar Systems.

Moving on! The decryption has informed the crew that the most spoken of these languages is called, English [Een-gah-lee-sh]. This one has begun calibrating our translator chips to place English as the priority and storing audio of any other languages for review later.

The Terrans, who refer to themselves as “Humans”, also seem to have a vast repository of media stored on a network of interconnected servers referred to as the “internet”. As there is likely a wait of seven Lums before arriving in the Sol System, this one has decided to review some portion of this media labeled as “movies” or “film.”

This one has asked Raxor, the bodyguard of this one’s crew and a member of the Valkorin or Soldier Caste, to review the saved history of Terran Warfare. The Queen will want to be aware of any threat these Terrans can present if she decides that we are to be Sol-3’s introduction to the greater galaxy.

You got it. Said GF Mythology AU is called Wisdom^2 (Pronounced “Wisdom Squared”).

First things first; This, at least the first chapter of it, takes place before Dipper and Mabel’s summer vacation, and instead takes place while Stan and Ford are apart but after Fiddleford has left and Ford realized how evil Bill is.

Athena and Ford had already been talking before the story takes place, and Athena asked about his studies to which Ford enthusiastically agreed to inform her, unaware of her true identity as a Greek God.

Then everything goes wrong :/
