Does anyone else get weirded out with converting-striaght-person-gay jokes?

I saw people made those jokes about Scott and Jimmy but people stopped just as fast. Now I’m seeing people say it to Gem and Pearl.

I dunno I just feel weird that two CC’s who are comfortable saying they’re striaght allies and have partners have people joking that their queer friend would change their mind…

I know it’s suppose to be funny jokes by queer fans but if I said it feels like over stepping boundaries people making those jokes would get upset. I hate overthinking if my thought and feelings are valid or if I’m the weird one @_@

it took me a while but WOWWWWW i finally watched nimona and it's fucking AWESOME!!! the animation and style is also just so beautifulll... i love the character designs as well they're so charming. DEFINITELY recommend watching it if you haven't already!!
