i will say, in my opinion i think that season 1 can be iffy at points (it's still good, but it's the kind of "iffy" where it feels like the writers were truly settling into this show, plus changes were happening in this period of the show which either would carry on through the rest of the series or be dropped permanently) up until season 1, episode 17 "sometimes you hear the bullet", which is imo where it starts to get the style it has throughout the rest of the series. early season 1 is a lot more comedic with dramatic moments, whereas where i am (almost to season 8) leans more often into the drama and the real tragedy of the position of the characters. the entire thing is such a solid work of historical fiction - based on a novel series, which in of itself was based on the author's actual experiences as a doctor at a MASH unit in the korean war - and the characters will drive you insane.

also, ditto, it's amazing to watch a show where no one really looks like a magazine cover. like don't get me wrong, many of the people on the show are drop-dead handsome/gorgeous, but they still look like real people you'd see at the grocery store, and that was part of the appeal for me, too!

Alastor

Alastor wasn’t one to express much emotion - other than his signature smile, let alone cry, but you caught him - even if it was barely

He felt like he was on the edge of pure insanity and psychotic, and he, the almighty Radio Demon, would’ve never expected something so little to give him his final push

After the fight between Adam and Alastor, he had lost his cane, his cane gave him almost every ounce of power and control his soul had gained since entering Hell, and he was going insane without it

You watched Alastor silently drift away from the crowded hotel lobby after Lucifer made some petty comment about losing his staff.

Despite that small part of you trying to convince you against it, you followed him.

You trickled behind him slowly to his room, all the way on the other side of the hotel.

He left his door open a crack, and you opened it slightly and stood in the doorway, and there he was.

Alastor’s usually neat and tidy hotel room was now a disaster with blueprints on the floor, you took a glance at them, some looking relatively old and some looked quite fresh, they were sketches and plans for a new staff - although you knew Alastor no longer had the magic the make it.

You hid as he came into your view, he was pacing the room, a very strained smile present on his face as tears pricked in his eyes, as he ran his fingers through his hair, tossing around blueprints and plans and other papers that seemed to be plans for a new staff, searching for a solution to his despair.

Slowly, you approached Alastor, patting him on the back softly before retracting your hand, remembering he doesn’t like to be touched.

He shook his head and sighed, the same drained smile was still present on his face, he looked down at you, and you never noticed the bags under his eyes until now… I mean, you knew he wasn’t one to typically sleep, but he never had bags before…

“I’m sorry, my dear.” He said, fixing his posture, and straightening up his suit. “One might say I’m a bit distraught at the moment. What is it you need?”

“Well.. uh, Al, you looked a bit sad recently, especially after what Lucifer said about your cane, and I just wanted to make sure you were okay.” You said, providing a bashful smile, at the fact that you’d be caught snooping.

“Ah, well, how awfully kind of you, my little doe. Just know, that I’m doing quite alright-” Before Alastor could finish his sentence you engulfed him in a hug, he paused for a moment, before slowly wrapping his arms around the small of your back.

His face was in the crook of your neck, as he sighed, you couldn’t see his face, but you could feel him give a soft smile onto your neck, not a grin, but a smile.

Angel Dust

You knew Angel’s job at the studio was far from easy, and shifts could last several hours at a time, but now? You were starting to worry…

He hadn’t been home in nearly two days. And it was starting to freak you out.

You sat in Angel’s bed in the hotel, snuggled next to Fat Nuggets, he let out a small snort as you cradled him in your arms. “I miss him too, baby.” You muttered, kissing his forehead, tearing up at the thought of all possibilities of what could’ve happened to him.

“Papa will be back home soon.” You nearly whispered, your voice cracking softly, you just wanted to see your boyfriend. The movie that was on in the background began to fade away as you fell to sleep.

You woke up again at about 1am from a slam of the bathroom door that was connected to Angel’s room. You blinked your eyes a few times, groggily, not entirely aware of what was going on until you heard sobbing coming from the bathroom.

You rushed the warm, pink comforter off of you, leaving Fat Nuggets on the bed asleep, urgently swinging open the bathroom door, finding Angel wailing, clinging onto the sink, halfway on the floor.

His shirt was off, and a few bruises and scars were visible. He let go of the sink, and slid down the floor, cradling his body.

“Handsome, shit..” You murmured, kneeling down to his level, you put a comforting hand on his knee. “Baby, look at me.”

You requested softly, now using your hand to comb through Angel’s hair, when you didn’t get a response, you used your free hand to tilt his face up to you, and the sight broke you.

His eyes stared into yours, afraid and hurt, there was smeared eyeliner under his eyes that traveled a bit down his face, there was blood coming from his mouth.

You felt tears prick in your eyes, you hated seeing him like this, “My love, can I hold you?”

Angel nodded as his body fell into your arms, you rocked him slowly, shushing his sobs, turning them into a small sniffles.

You pulled away from him to look at him, you wiped the smudged makeup off his face with your thumb, and looked at him. “Wanna talk about it, Angie?”

“You already know the deal by now, it’s just Val..” He said, wiping his eyes, hiccuping before continuing, “I had a rough week, and I wasn’t off-script, and he just said to improv it, and I just fucked it up.. and he, well..” He gestured to the bruises and scars on his body, referencing what happened, giving a dry chuckle, you tensed above him.

“Baby.” You started, cupping his cheeks, pulling him to look at you, “I don’t know how yet, but I will fucking get you out of this, I don’t care who or what I have to go through, but I will fucking get you out of this. No one gets to hurt you and expect to get away with it.” You vowed, as your foreheads connected,

“Sugar, there’s no way out.” Angel murmured. “He’ll find me..” He said barely above a whisper, his voice cracking in fear, your heart ached for him.

“I’ll figure it out, handsome.” You said, pecking his forehead, “Let’s get you cleaned up, okay?”

Lucifer

You’ve known since before you even started dating that Lucifer had depression, and you knew it hit hard, but you had never really been around to experience that before.

Whenever you could, you always tried to help him out with it, which was a bit hard since he had a tendency to brush it off a lot

It wasn’t until you came home to Luci having a depressive episode where you really got a grip on his depression

You came back to you and Lucifer’s shared home, you had just gotten out of work, and Lucifer was supposed to be at a meeting, key word, supposed to.

As you walked down the hall you heard sniffles coming from your shared bedroom.

You opened the door, it let out a small creak, and you noticed Lucifer curled up on the end of the bed.

There were tissues scattered on the floor on his side of the bed and on his night stand, his clothes that he would’ve worn to his meeting were in a messy pile on the floor, he was in boxers and no shirt, his hair messy, as he sniffled into the pillows, curled up in a thin but fuzzy duck blanket.

“Sweetie, what happened?” You asked sweetly, sitting down next to him at the edge of the bed, rubbing his scalp.

“I-I was gonna go to my m-meeting today, but when I went to get out of bed everything it just felt like I couldn’t do it.. and I started spiraling and I called Charlie and told her to go instead..” Luci explained through sniffles, clutching the blanket closer to his chest.

“Aww, darling.” You cooed lovingly, caressing his cheek, “How about this; I go run a nice, hot bath for the two of us, and then we can cuddle and take a nap, and then try to clean everything up. You can even bring in a few ducks if you want.” Lucifer perked up at your offer, nodding eagerly.

“Okay.” You smiled, chuckling softly, “Just keep your pretty little self here while I go run the water.” You said, getting up to leave, but you turned around as you got to the doorway. “Bubbles or no bubbles?” You asked with a knowing smile.

“…Bubbles, please.”

Velvette had sent you off to go check on Vox, normally he comes out of his security room to check on either her or Valentino, or you, and surprisingly he hadn’t today

You worked for the Vee’s but you were also friends, you were important enough to be basically considered an honorary Vee member, but you were unimportant enough to be cut from big social events and have a fair amount of work dumped on you last minute — And you were an assistant (as well as partner) to Vox

You knocked on the door to Vox’s office room, when no response came from the other side you slowly opened the door, and you saw a very stressed Vox.

His screen was in his hands, letting out small sniffles, but he would glitch here and there as the watery tears shocked his chords.

“Baby, you good?” You asked, standing behind him.

He whipped around, scrambling to wipe away any remaining tears, “Oh- Uh- Yeah- I’m fine.” He muttered, turning back around.

“Were you crying?” You asked, hesitantly, you’d never seen him cry before, other than sex, you both had only been together a few months.

“What? No! I don’t do that shit.” He scoffed, it was clear he was getting defensive, he didn’t like to be caught like this, but he’d rather it be you than someone else.

“Vox…” You pushed, maybe you shouldn’t have, but you did anyway. “Fine. Rough day, okay? Work is stressful as fuck.”

You wrapped your arms around his neck from behind, “Do you wanna lay down? Maybe take a nap? And you come back in an hour or two?” You suggested softly, Vox could be stubborn as hell at times, and you weren’t trying to push your luck.

Vox hesitates momentarily, before muttering a small, “I guess…”

so i rewatched some of my fav helluva boss episodes and was reminded of the hell-a-novela and one of the characters being named Alejandro. And in s1 e8 drunk blitz mentions only wanting people named Alejandro or Monica to sleep with him. And stolas says thats a mood Gabriella. So im guessing stolas and blitz would sometimes watch the hell-a-novela. Also Gabriella and Monica are totally fighting over Alejandro's love and i want to know more

The jayce hate is pissing me off so much like I'm saying this as someone who didn't care for him that much in s1 and had no opinion on jayvik so you know he is FAR from being my fav character BUT WHAT HE DID WAS COMMON SENSE?? DID NO ONE THINK THAT WHAT VIKTOR WAS DOING WAS KINDA FUCKED UP?? And like obviously jayce saw some insane shit while he was gone, this was his way to try to fix things. Someone even called him killing viktor bad writing?? Ffs at least wait for the show to end but even without the ending i think what he did was logical of course i am sad that killing viktor killed vander but like...... what viktor was doing wasn't normal it was getting out of hand and jayce saw the consequences or whatever JAYCE GET BEHIND ME I'LL PROTECT YOU

you get it!!! personally i have always been a jayce enjoyer, but that's really not why i'm defending him so strongly now. i am perfectly capable of enjoying a character who has never done anything right in their entire life and do so without excusing or trying to explain their actions, but it's so obviously not jayce's case that i really struggle to understand where all this hate is coming from.

we are missing a HUGE chunk of plot. we have no idea where jayce, heimerdinger and ekko ended up and how much time has passed for them, but i have to assume based on how jayce looks that it's been a LONG haul for them. they may have experienced a variety of different realities, they might have faced the worst outcomes possible, we literally have no way of knowing what they went through. jayce looks like he's been through hell and back, viktor says he's been touched by the arcane, there's a gem in his wrist, his eyes are a different colour, his head is quite visually splitting in two in every single scene he's in and he's apparently speaking nonsense to no one in particular (i'm sure it'll turn out the voiceover was him talking to ekko and heimerdinger, or even to viktor himself).

all of this and i haven't even mentioned the fact that viktor, the real viktor, the viktor who wasn't too far gone, WANTED the hexcore destroyed. he BEGGED jayce to destroy it. and this is not an excuse to start giving jayce shit because he didn't destroy it immediately—him trying to save his best friend in the midst of a full-blown panic attack and it coming back to bite him in the ass was an excruciatingly human gesture and i would've done the same for any of my loved ones. but he gets it now. he's seen firsthand what the hexcore truly is, what it has done to his favourite person in the universe and to the world (or at least to piltover/zaun) at large. of fucking course he'll do whatever he can to destroy it. jayce is not the villain here, regardless of how hard people try to make him out to be.

haikyuu characters formality guide

in general: speaking formally will change the pattern of your words and insert extra articles at the end of sentences. if you're older, you can address your juniors by either their first or last name (first is usually more intimate though; see oikawa calling hinata "shouyou") and you don't have to use formal speech patterns. of course, if you're the same age you don't have to do so either.

generally assume that everyone keeps to a standard level of formality with their seniors and will, most often than not, call seniors by their last names + san

karasuno

hinata: obviously formal to his seniors (except kenma), but pretty relaxed about calling them by their first names or nicknames (e.g. noya-san, asahi-san, daichi-san)

kageyama: formal and does not deviate. calls his seniors by their full last names (even atsumu and osamu, who other characters usually differentiate by calling them by their first names, or sawamura, whom most others call daichi-san). he calls kiyoko shimizu-senpai, even though most others will say kiyoko-san (like noya and tanaka). the unusual part is that he calls his grandfather by his first name + san. miwa refers to him as kazuyo-kun, which is definitely weird. they've got an interesting family dynamic

tsukishima: formal. but also very snarky. he also calls his seniors by their full last names

yamaguchi: formal, same as tsukishima but much more polite

yachi: overly formal at times to the extent that she slips into ceremonial speech pattersn, but this is played for humor and is symptomatic of her overly anxious personality

tanaka: formal, but will call kiyoko-san by her first name

noya: same as above, except 1) when he fought asahi in s1, he didn't use formal language at all, and 2) he calls yaku "morisuke-kun." seems like nekoma third years are pretty casual! plus nishinoya tends to use people's first names for people he's close with (e.g. shouyou, ryuu, chikara).

everyone else

kenma: he explicitly doesn't like the hierarchical system. he calls kuroo by a nickname and doesn't speak formally to him at all. interestingly, he also doesn't speak formally to kai or yaku, and refers to them as kai-kun and yaku-kun. this is pretty unusual but it goes to show how accepting others are of his quirk (or that he's just really close to the 3rd years)

atsumu: formal with the third years, but not formal with aran, whom he calls aran-kun. this makes sense because they're childhood friends. post-timeskip, he interestingly refers to bokuto as bokkun, which is pretty informal, and as far as i remember he doesn't speak to him formally. also, he likes to call everyone by their first names + kun, which i guess is to be expected seeing as almost everyone calls him and osamu by their first names.

sakusa: his speech patterns is one of my favs bc it's all over the place. he's polite to his seniors and post-timeskip will use formal language with bokuto and call him bokuto-san, but then why the hell is he speaking so informally to ushiwaka? it's not even like they're longtime friends? he calls him wakatoshi-kun and doesn't use formal speech patterns with him at all. shocking.

I love them all tbh. It's like asking me to choose if I like breathing air or inhaling it. Like it's the same thing. Still tho, since you asked, I'll try to rate them. Key word: try since all of them are Mona Lisa's to me (special, lovely and unique in their own way <3).

MC vs. Villain (but lowkey sexual)

Changed the trajectory of everyone's lives when it dropped. THE art. THE piece. I am still obsessed with it. Sukuna touching the inner part of Yuuji's wrist, feeling his heartbeat.... FOR WHAT LIKE WHAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE WRIST FEEL EXPLAIN.

Yeah. That's my sukuita. Weird as hell "enemies" who don't beat each other to death, they just use that excuse to touch each other so no one pays attention to it.

2. The Wheel Turns

The poetic piece and hence it's my second fav. I know the most agreed on thing for normal fans (aka not sukuita shippers) is the Dharma wheel (cue deep dive into Hinduism) but to me this holds connection to the never-changing cycle these two were stuck in. The "cycle" that Yuuji breaks at the end of the manga by killing the unkillable, befriending the avoidable and loving the unlovable (Sukuna). The opposite forces which clash and cannot combine but finally do combine at the end, achieving harmony. Essentially, becoming one (<3333)

Orrrr, because I'm insane, it could also be about them finding each other again and again. The wheel which keeps on turning, again and again, represents something which is repetitive and has no end and to say that they (Sukuna and Yuuji) have no end is sweet. It could also be about many other things but these are just off the top of my head since if I think about this image too long, this'll be a whole 30k post.

3. Back to Back

Fun fact about this little image is that it used to be my favorite for a long time before the #1 would drop. What I love about this image the most is the fact that they're standing as equals even if turned away from each other (representing their relationship and their vastly differing viewpoints) and considering this is an older piece it just serves as foreshadowing that the only equals they could ever have is each other but considering they're turned away from each other, they have no way of ever knowing that and seeing that. Also could be that they know but refuse to acknowledge it (how I interpret it).

Total opposites + Yuuji looking drop dead gorgeous and serious + Sukuna in a kimono are all just bonuses. This piece cemented my love for them and drove me into how I feel about them now so it's also special for that too <3

4. ENEMY

This could've been a #3 easily and also #1 easily since... the throat grab, the direct eye contact... Have mercy on me Gege. S1 sukuita had me in a chokehold way stronger than the one Sukuna and Yuuji have here tho, that's for sure (which is saying a lot lmfao). Also... I always found it weird how Sukuna's hand seems not to be gripping but nearly... holding... Yuuji chin?? Or maybe that's me high on them obsessed over each other nvm

5. Divine Black Flash (see what I did there?)

Signature moves (aka abilities) plus them next to each other twinning and winning. Also one of my faves but the others were way more symbolic so had more of a grip on me but this one slays too. All of them do, don't take my list too personally y'all.

BossaNova.EXE by vol_ctrl, XIntensity_FallsX — another pre-s1 radiostatic au where alastor attempts to manipulate vox by pretending to reciprocate his feelings, and again things get way out of hand. the experience of reading this one is electric, and if you commit to syncing the linked playlist with chapter 13 i guarantee you won't regret it

OBX S4 SPOILERS AHEAD!!

so I'm typing this at 7 in the morning after watching part one of s4 and boy was it a buttload of s1 all over again.

and I mean that in a good way lol

first off, let's get jjpope out of the way...

jj said I love you to Pope 2-3 times which healed my soul and they had a bunch of good moments. but ofc with 3 canon ships in the way it's going to be hard to find stuff for the non-canon.

now to the canon ships...

THEY HAVE LEFT JOHN B AND SARAH ALONE! FINALLYYY!

my newlyweds are happy and committed. That's all I want for them.

Pope and Cleo, they are so cute and I want nothing but the best for them.

jiara was fine. their chemistry was WAYYYYY better in this half-a-season than in the last 3. Obviously, the bends scene was the writers' way of giving them screen time. happy to see my boy jj happy and kie is getting back to her s1 roots which I'm ecstatic to see.

now to the other stuff...

The story this season is really interesting.

I like all the callbacks to s1. I like that the pogues feel like a true friend group again. I LOVED the way they have done group splits so far. each pogue has been split off with every other pogue! Also, I love that you can tell the pogues are experienced now. They are getting away with some much stuff that would have taken all of s1. If this really is their last season and they keep up the pace...dare I say this might be a hell of a way to close things out.

Topper is such a loser. no character arc just a simp who's butthurt and is all bark no bite. Hoping for less of him pls and thank you.

Sofia...STAND TF UP!! everyone in this goddamn town is money hungry. either be with Rafe or betray him just stop going back and forth.

John B having flashbacks about his dad is sad but realistic and I hope he comes out with a healthier mindset.

I had the strongest feeling he wasn't dead since one of TV's biggest rules is "no body, no death" meaning if we didn't see him get killed then he's not dead. But now he is so I hope he rests in peace.

JJ spending all the money pissed me off. Kie is becoming less annoying by becoming her s1 self again. JJ is also going back to his s1 roots but only to get on my nerves all over again! Like I love JJ and his story is now one of my favs but if he keeps f-ing up he might move down in my rankings.

speaking of jj...why is everybody getting mad at John B when JJ does someone wrong. and when decisions need to be made all the pressure is on John B. I get that he is the so-called leader of the group but leave my man be!

Pope, please keep being the smart man you are. love it, keep it coming, no notes.

Cleo, I can't wait to see you get ur revenge arc. Just keep being the badass you are, no notes.

The JJSarah sibling storyline is still afoot! JJ now knows that his mom has passed and that Luke isn't his real father. But we still don't know who Sarah's mom is! They have been laying it on thick about family and being there for each other. Sarah was really intrigued by the Blackbeard research and seemed more distracted in some scenes than others. Plus Ward's favoritism to Sarah makes more sense if Sarah isn't his real child. Maybe he adopted the hidden second child from JJ's mother and raised her as his own. With JJ knowing his ancestry and now his real father maybe Chandler Groff will reveal to JJ that he had a twin sister that was taken before they found him and his dead mother so his dad doesn't even know who his missing sister is.

Maybe that's why Chandler Groff is getting his long-lost son into Blackbeard's treasure...to find his missing daughter.

This theory is so far-fetched but it's not impossible.

Rafe wanting to fix his family and reconcile with his sister has been a main point in the story as well and what is Rafe doing to "fix his family?" buying goat island which held the first piece of Blackbeard's treasure which is really JJ's treasure! JJ, Rafe, and Sarah are all connected just like that. Plus Chandler Groff looks a lot like Ward in some ways lol.

I was so scared for this season and though I'm not getting what I want ship wise the story has got me hooked.

I bookmarked 66 fics in 2023 (and read…a lot more than that), but only 9 were written/updated in this year of our lord. SMH we gotta pump out more content, friends. Seriously though, I’ve got several more 2023 fic reads in my Marked for Later, but some are still WIPs or I just haven’t gotten around to picking them up yet. By the start of S1, Dean's relationship with his father is more strained, his devotion more intense, and his life consumed by the need to hide the parts of himself he is most ashamed of.

My words:

If you’ve been looking for a gay!Dean manifesto, you’ve found it. Obviously, the subject matter is dark: warnings for past childhood sexual abuse, internal and external homophobia, past suicide attempt, and traumatic outing. It is also beautiful and heart-wrenching and scratches the swollen, itchy, weeping rash on my heart in a way that only the balm of good Dean angst can.  

Favorite part:

“I wasn’t acting out,” he blurted.

“What?”

“When I – I wasn’t trying to act out or anything.” Deacon’s presence hovered behind him like an aura, and Dean reminded himself, Don’t rock the boat. Don’t rock the boat.

Dad sighed. The line crackled, and Dean pictured him standing in a phone booth somewhere, probably huddled up against the cold. “Then what the hell would you call it?”

Dean tried out a few words in his head, imagining how they’d sound to Deacon. He ended up with, “I misunderstood. I thought I was supposed to.”

The way Dean’s PTSD is described in this fic, like a slow, oozing poison that awakens the longer he and Cas travel together, is tantalizing and masterful. Ostensibly, this fic is about Dean and Cas road-tripping to a case. It’s actually about how you, a monster-hunter, can come to terms (or not) with your body and soul when you think you’ve become the very thing you’re spent your whole life hunting.

 Favorite part:

"Like everything will be going fine and then all of a sudden I just. Can’t. I can't stand it. And the more fine everything is, the worse it gets and I feel-" he breaks off, eyes on his hands like they aren't his hands, thumb rubbing over and over the ring on his index finger, "It's like everyone else is living this normal fucking life and I'm still back in the pit."

Personal Space: The Final Frontier by botley

My words:

This fic has been on my rec lists before. It’s still a WIP, but it very unexpectedly posted an update after a 3(?) year hiatus, so I’ll cling to hope until my fingernails leave a bloody, mauled mess.  This is basically a Star Trek AU where our favorite Supernatural gang are fucking around in Starfleet instead of the Midwest. Fantastic stuff – worth the read even if it does remain unfinished.

Yum.

When Dean struggles with a particularly devastating patient loss, their mutual understanding of loss and love bring them closer in a way that neither of them could have expected.

My words: A solid, old-fashioned romantic AU. It’s unpretentious, fluffy, heart-warming, authentic and the kind of could-have-been-a-novel goodness that makes up the heart and breadth of fanfiction. Warning for infant illness and death (not Jack).

Favorite part:

"I know they say there’s a chance, but I’ve just got this feeling .” She shook her head and looked down for a moment. She looked up again and took a deep breath as if steadying herself. “I wish I could see you grow up.”

 My words: Another Goddamn quality AU. This one is a little quippier and fast paced than the Hospital AU above, but it’s full of fantastic characterization and even a last-minute breaking and entering romp. Fun that’s perfect for the whole family!

Favorite part:

“Been asking you out all week.” Dean tells him, and Castiel realizes all at once he’s right.

“Oh my god.” Castiel laughs. “You have.”

My words: You gotta love the Djinn dream trope. This one has everything you want in a caught-in-a-fake-reality-while-your-lover-pleads-for-you-to-return-to-the-waking-world story, plus an extra dash of on-point characterization and some truly imaginative scenarios for Dean’s alternate realities.  

 Favorite part:

“We could look into adoption,” says Cas. “If you’d like. Of course we could also simply take a child, but I think that’s frowned on."

My words: This is more straight-up (not straight) porn than I usual rec, but this is a fantastic take on the from-sex-to-love fic where everyone was already in love to begin with. There’s a hefty sprinkle of idiots-to-lovers and sex-curse. Also angst, which is my bread and butter.

Favorite line:

Castiel stares up at him, his eyes gone soft, hooded. Dean thumbs over his eyelid, just to watch it flutter shut. “I’m not solely interested in you for your hands, or your mouth. They are wonderful attributes, but I don’t long for them so much as I long for you.” He leans into Dean’s palm and kisses the center. “I don’t know when I fell in love with you, but it would take the death of the universe to get me to stop.”

My words: warning for the fact that this is technically an mpreg fic even though Castiel is an angel and not really a man. Warning, also, because this is another WIP that hasn’t been updated since the beginning of the year, so I don’t know if it’ll be finished. Basically, Dean and Cas bump uglies to unexpected results. Cas kinda freaks without telling Dean he’s his baby daddy. He also yanks out his intestines so said baby can be nice and comfortable in there. Funny and angsty.

Favorite part:

“Are those—?”

“Yeah.” He waves his hand at the door again, starting to feel like one of those used car lot inflatable men, limbs akimbo. “A total murderer looking guy just bolted that way. And not like— the regular murderer-looking people who come in.”

“And he left his organs.” Dennis thinks a moment, and then shrugs, as if this isn’t the weirdest thing he’s ever seen. He’s been working here longer than anyone Henry knows, maybe it isn’t. He opens his mouth and Henry can’t help hoping some miracle plan of action is going to fall out of it. “Can I ask you a personal question?”

“Um. What?”

“I don’t want to offend you.” He pauses, brows furrowed. He rolls Henry’s cup over in his hand. “What is a ‘FABINISTA’?”
