PERSON IN MY ASKBOX!! I SEE YOU!! I WILL DRAW THE SILLY!! I started this immediately after Blue Cop so I was like, "No, finish one thing at a time!" LMFAO

HOLY HELL DRAWING HIM WAS A NIGHTMARE!! References were hard to come by, I was going through so many episodes trying to find good refs and I STILL failed!! Still love him though! There are some big mistakes here, I am aware, but, gotta start somewhere!! I will draw him again 100%.

On a side note,, I see the appeal. I REALLY REALLY do. I GET IT. Also his voice in both Korean and English is SO SMOOTH? OTL

★Comic Test Page [Canineformers AU]★

WOOO OKAY

Test page for my future comic! :D My last test pages were in 2020 so a LONG ass time ago. Decided to do this to see if the project is manageable with my level of perfection and it SOMEWHAT is. This took me around 5 hours to do which is super low on time for pieces like this! I simplified some of my shading process as well because that is arguably the most time consuming things!

I have't reavelaed much of the plot and details to ANYONE, so this is super out of context. But; Barricade (Character w/ 'Police' On shoulder) is indebted to Celeste (other character in the scene), and part of him fufilling that is to train her so she can thrive within the Decpeticons. But she is not progressing as quickly as he wants her too and ended early on this day to think of solutions!

If there is a lot of interest in this I will probably try and do more teaser stuff as I work on the story :]

I absolutely adore The Crane Wives, their music is so good and every time I listen I can’t help but think of Macaque and Sun Wukong’s dynamic. This song specifically makes me think because of what Macaque showed in the Shadow Play episode. This song just SPEAKS these two. 

I thought of this project about 4 days ago and went, “Fuck it! I’m in fanart mode, I got this!” I had the idea for a Tarot style here and I hope I kind of got it. My handwriting is terrible, I apologize, I could not figure out how to make Wukong’s lyrics look good. (I got super frustrated and gave up.)

Anyways, Wukong’s side is far from perfect but I’m not gonna spend hours on it. Designs are form my Unnamed AU! (I might just call it the Fuckers AU for shits and giggles!) Anyways, this might be my last bit of fanart until I can get back into it!

Wukong and Mac both have a bunch of glamors up at almost all hours of the day. Overtime they've both grown to be a little more okay with dropping some of them, much tot the request of MK and Mei. They both have yet to fully drop all their glamors but maybe one day they'll get there! The relationship between these two is very on and off. At the pleading of MK, the two somewhat get along but not without a lot of bickering and poking fun at each other. Its a mess!!

Very much some found family shenanigans! Hoping to finally get into the groove and do other characters eventually! Anyways, that’s it for now! :]

★Left Alone [Fanart]★

More fanart for my AU!! (Still unnamed- I'm in naming hell.) And this time I come with my shitty writing!! So there is a little 1600 word drabble to match this art!

This took me a little too long LMFAO. Anyways, Mac has been through it,,, poor guy! These two have a lot to work out before they can get along. They'll get there eventually, but for now, let them suffer and maybe throw in some pining.

(I didn't go fully into depth in the drabble about some of the info in the AU, so it may seem a little wonky. Just ask me for context if you're curious!)

Macaque can hear the other approach him long before he comes to the cliffside. His six ears flick to listen to Wukong pause at the edge of the clearing and he can feel his gaze resting on his back.

No words are shared between them, only a long, drawn out silence. Macaque's tail curls closer to him, the tip flicking and betraying his nerves. He hears the other exhale a held breath and finally walk forward, although his pace is hesitant.

Macaque doesn't look back, he refuses to, all of his glamors had dropped, his powers fraying at the ends and refusing to bind themselves into the netting needed to hold his usual glamors in place. His six ears were out on display, chunks of the delicate flesh having been torn, scratched or sliced off over the many long years of past life and his revival. The scar running down the right side of his face and the blind eye resting in its socket a reminder of the time he had lost the fight to survive, when he lost the fight against someone he considered a close friend, maybe even something more. His fur was stained white, showing the lasting effects of the Lady Bone Demon's hold on him. The white was harder to hide, taking more power than the rest of his glamors, a final 'fuck you' from the now dead witch.

"Macaque?"

He's caught off guard at how close the voice is to him, he had been caught up in his own thoughts that the sounds of Wukong approaching had faded away. He doesn't flinch but his tail curls closer to his leg, the long wisps of fur on the tip brushing against his pants.

Macaque responds a moment later, his tone betraying just how exhausted he felt, "I said I wanted to be left alone, Wukong."

The golden monkey sucks in a breath but Macaque doesn't turn around. Wukong stays silent for a moment before speaking, "Your glamors-"

Macaque hisses before he can finish, "I know."

Silence follows the hiss and Macaque suddenly begins to feel uncomfortable, the gaze of the other not leaving him. He feels as if it was burning into him, leaving holes in his carefully constructed image and letting the other see into the deepest parts of him. Macaque bites his tongue, questioning if he should say what rests on its tip. However, Wukong beats him to it.

"I haven't seen your glamors down in a long time, it's strange to see," he whispers out, but Macaque still catches it.

Macaque frowns and looks down, "You're not meant to see it."

Wukong shifts behind him and Macaque tenses, his ears flare out and swivel to listen to the movement so he wouldn't have to turn around and show Wukong all of what he can’t hide.

The presence of the other moves from his right side to the left and he can finally see his figure in his peripheral vision. The golden monkey lowers himself down and sits next to him, hanging his legs off the edge of the cliff, mirroring him. Macaque sneaks a quick glance over and immediately recognizes that the other has dropped his glamor as well.

He can see the dark freckles which dust his nose and cheeks. He can also see the darkers streaks of fur from the Samadhi Fire paired with it is the white streaks which are a reminder of the Lady Bone Demon’s temporary possession of him. He can see the end of a scar through his eyebrow, though he doesn’t know where it came from. Not all of his glamors are dropped, he knows what else he is hiding because centuries ago he knew the King better than anyone else.

Macaque feels anger curl in his gut. Here Wukong sits, dropping some of his glamors on his own accord and approaches him despite him stating he wants to be left alone. The anger tastes bitter on his tongue and his tail tip begins flicking again, catching the golden gaze of the other.

Wukong speaks once more, "The kid is worried about you."

Macaque freezes as the words wrap around his brain. His ears droop slightly before lifting again as he tries to hold onto his unbothered expression. Of course the kid would be worried, he always was. Even after everything he had done to him, to his friends, to his family, he still gave him a change and cared. Macaque stomps down the warm feeling in his chest, he didn't deserve it not after everything.

A long silence settles between them and the tension grows, almost thick enough to cut with a knife. Macaque sneaks another glance over to Wukong and sees him observing the view in front of them. He quickly turns his gaze away and finally speaks, "Tell the kid I'm fine."

Wukong shifts and Macaque forces himself to stay still. The gentle voice of the other rings through his ears, "You don't look fine, Macaque." Macaque growls at the tone, at the unsaid words Wukong was saying. Macaque knew the other well and he knew that there was more the other wished to say.

"It's not your concern, go back to your little group."

"Not without you, the kid sent me to bring you back."

Macaque hisses loudly, "I don't care what the kid wants, I'm not going back."

Wukong looks at him and Macaque can feel the other studying him. Macaque doesn't look at him and continues, "Wukong, just go back. I'm leaving anyway."

Wukong narrows his eyes, "Leaving? To where?"

"It's none of your concern."

"It is when it affects MK. You know your sudden disappearance will only make him seek you out."

Macaque frown deepens, "Well good luck to him then, he won't find me, even with all of your powers."

Wukong frowns as well and sighs, "I didn't come here to fight, Mac."

The nickname causes the dark furred monkey to flinch. He bites on his tongue, forcing the growl growing in his chest to quiet. He didn't have enough power to create a shadow portal, he just needed a little more time. Which means he would have to get Wukong to leave before then or stall until his powers returned.

Macaque scoffs at the comment, "Then why pretend you care? Look, just tell the kid something came up and I'll be out of your hair."

The silence returned and it was beginning to make Macaque irritated. Wukong wasn't responding like normal, he wasn't snapping back immediately, he was carefully thinking. It made Macaque's skin prickle with unease. He balls his hands into fists and clenches his teeth as the silence grows. Wukong stands up next to him and Macaque flicks his gaze to watch him.

Wukong looked down at him, "I promised the kid that I'd try and be friends with you again."

Macaque snaps back, narrowing his eyes, "Tough luck, I'm not interested."

Wukong exhales through his nose and flicks his tail, "It doesn't mean I want to be friends with you, Macaque. We can pretend for all I care, as long as the kid believes everything between us is okay."

Macaque's thoughts quietly remind him, 'Nothing will ever be okay between us.' Macaque looks away and thinks for a moment, his ears flaring out to listen to his surroundings and most importantly, the fast beating of Wukong's heart. Its fast pace lets Macaque know what he needs and he scoffs, "Whatever Wukong, just keep me out of it as much as possible."

Wukong doesn't reply once more and Macaque moves to stand up and Wukong backs away. The dark furred monkey hides the smirk on his face within his scarf. Wukong finally replies, "Okay, just don’t disappear on the kid. I won’t be able to stop him from looking."

“No promises,” he replies easily. Macaque stands where he is for a few moments, looking out over the cliffside and letting the gentle breeze blow through his fur and push his cape to the side. He turns to Wukong fully, letting the other finally see the damage he had caused all those years ago. The expression of guilt on his face delights Macaque and his mind hisses, 'Let him wallow in his guilt. It's what he deserves.' Macaque meets his golden eyes and smiles, "Well, I'll be going now. Hope I never have to see you again, Wukong."

Wukong moves, reaching out before quickly stopping himself. Macaque doesn’t flinch at the movement but does take a step back, narrowing his eyes at the other one last time. He was done with this conversation and felt as if time to stall was up, whatever power he had would need to be enough. He didn’t want to stay on the cliffside with Wukong any longer.

Macaque turns around and walks towards the forest, hoping he had just enough magic to teleport himself back to his Dojo, or close enough he could just walk the rest of the way. He doesn't hear Wukong move from where he stood. Macaque finds himself glad that he wouldn't have to run away from him this time. As he steps into the shadows of the trees he hears Wukong speak, barely above a whisper but his six ears manage to catch it regardless, "For what it's worth, white fur looks good on you."

Macaque summons a portal and steps into it and away from the cliffside, away from Wukong. As he emerges on the other side he leans against the alleyway wall he had portaled next to and whispers, "What the hell Wukong."
