❝ there's no storm we can't outrun, we will always find the sun, leave the past and all its scars [...] ; if we're facing endless night, take my hand and join the fight, past the clouds we'll find the stars... ❞ — cast of once upon a time
notes: these wedding headcanons are part of our @briarvalleyarchives wedding event! it was super fun brainstorming how weddings would be in the characters' homelands. used my own experience of german customs for vil's, for leona i checked out some kenyan wedding traditions and lion king lore! hope you guys like these ♡
contains: wedding headcanons, character x gn!reader
characters: malleus, vil, azul, leona
warnings: some blood in malleus's (pricking your finger)

You were a little nervous, when the day had finally come for Queen Maleficia to introduce you to her kingdom's people as Prince Malleus's fiance. News that the heir to the throne of Briar Valley was getting married travelled very far very quickly, and that despite the lack of modern technology. But contrary to your fears and extensive list of worst case scenarios, you were well-received as Malleus's beloved and your prince was more than excited about the upcoming wedding.
According to Briar Valley traditions, both of your wedding attire is going to be black, as it is the royal color of the Draconia family. Nevertheless, neither the queen nor the people will mind you having a little color on your otherwise black clothing, symbolizing how you were not native to your beloved's kingdom; yet your union made you a part of fae society nonetheless, regardless of your origins.
The wedding venue is deep in the forest and has been in preparation by the castle staff for months. Malleus and you are to be wed under a floral arbor, decorated with roses from Malleus's garden.
On the day of the ceremony, butterflies and fireflies surround the venue and rose petals are scattered across it.
You're waiting under the arbor as the queen leads Malleus down the aisle, guided by small forest fae who were chosen as the ring bearers. They carry a small wooden basket with local plants of Briar Valley and the rings are placed upon them. Halfway through, Queen Maleficia lets go of her grandson's arm and lets him walk the rest of the way to you on his own, symbolizing her trust in him to walk his own path from here on out and a new part of his life beginning. You can see a soft smile on her face that is only seen from the usually so serious and stern queen on rare occasions. The guests are assembled at the side of the venue, watching you unite under the arbor and giving you their blessings.
You and Malleus exchange your vows. He takes your hands into his as he speaks to you. "I have to confess that when I met you, I was inexperienced and still had so much to learn about this world. But sharing these experiences with you, exploring what lies beyond the borders of my home by your side, were some of the happiest moments of my life and I still have no doubt that they marked the beginning of something even more grand to come", Malleus's expression was so loving and soft, but you could also tell how giddy and excited he was feeling inside, "just by being there, you brought so much color and vibrance into my life and made me look at the world through different eyes. From the moment we met, I never wanted to lose you and now I promise to you to stay by your side forever, if you allow me. I love you dearly and with all my heart."
Malleus listens attentively to your vows and his heart beats faster when he hears them. He's definitely tearing up.
In remembrance of the Thorn Fairy, it is custom in Briar Valley to prick your finger on a thorn to sign the wedding certificate. Malleus heals the cut with his magic immediately, so there's no need to worry.
Next you shall be crowned as part of the royal family. Every member of the Draconia family receives a custom-made crown. You have a say in deciding how it looks and Malleus hasn't actually seen it until he gets to place it on top of your head at the ceremony. Before doing so, he kisses the dragon markings on your forehead or the skin where they should be, if you had them, and you do the same with him. Malleus smiles as he feels your lips on his markings, taking your hand into his once more and squeezing it gently. You know him too well not to be aware that he's basically itching to pull you into a kiss.
Malleus and you exchange rings and are pronounced newlyweds. "You may kiss-"
Malleus's lips are already on yours before that sentence is even finished. He kisses you deeply and lovingly and holds you tightly in his arms. He doesn't let go of you just yet even after the kiss has ended, hugging you closely and nuzzling your temple.
It is said that the marriage is sealed with true love's kiss.
The eldest fairies in the royal court bestow their magic blessings on you. How effective these actually are? You're not sure, but you're willing to be surprised.
The wedding reception is held in Malleus's rose garden and the guests are reduced to the royal court, both of your family members, friends and the closest noble associates to the Draconia family.
Bowls with flowers as well as twigs decorate the tables at the reception and fairy lights adorn the rose garden.
Traditional Briar Valley folk music plays as you and your guests dance the night away.

Vil and you ring in your wedding celebrations with a "Polterabend", as is typical in the area of the Shaftlands that Vil lives in. This custom is held on the night before the wedding. The guests bring porcelain, but also commonly flowerpots and ceramics to the party that are later smashed onto the ground, supposedly to bring good luck to the couple.
A barbecue is held to provide food for the guests. Vil made sure there's lots of salads and grilled vegetables as well to provide enough variety of foods. Lively chatter can be heard at the tables between your family members and friends as drinks are served.
This gathering is used as an opportunity to accept well-wishes from acquaintances, co-workers and people who aren't able to come to the actual wedding. They stop by for a while to give wedding cards and small gifts to you and Vil. This includes your former classmates from NRC.
"Epel, I swear to the Seven, this is your grandmother's antique tableware, don't you dare", Vil scolds his Pomefiore underclassman as the porcelain smashing ceremony is about to begin. "Are you kidding me, this is the literal point of this evening", Epel pouts. Vil also has to stop Ace from smashing a whole mirror. "Did you never hear about smashing a mirror meaning 7 years of bad luck?", Vil sighs. "Aw, come on, let them have their fun for the night", you chuckle. Vil raises his eyebrows at you. "If we end up cursed, it's your fault."
The actual wedding ceremony happens on the next day at the registry office. You greet your guests in front of the building and provide them with champagne and juice to toast to your marriage. The guests take their seats and eagerly await the beginning of the ceremony. You and Vil have decided to walk in together. One of your guests sings a love song with a piano accompaniment as you two enter and take your seats in front of the registrar's desk. Vil's dad is tearing up as he sees you walk in to the slow music.
You and Vil exchange vows. "Y/n... I have met plenty of people who have said that there's hardly one who understands beauty better than I do. But you proved to me that there were things I had yet to see and understand about the beauty surrounding me", Vil smiles at you and takes your hand into his, "your love made me see a new kind of beauty in this world and just like the radiance of the Beautiful Queen, our love, too, will shine on eternally. I cherish every day we spend together and I know that I can count on you to be there through the good times and the bad. And I promise that I will stay by your side and love you more with every year that passes. I will be there for you whenever you need me. I love you with all my heart."
You exchange rings (Vil's own design) and the registrar makes your marriage official. Vil seals his promise with a kiss. His kiss is soft and doesn't last very long, but you know he's saving the passionate kisses for later.
The guests congratulate you for your union and you leave the building, getting into the car that has been specifically rented for the occasion and decorated with flowers. With your guests behind you, you drive to the reception, hearing them honk their car horns in celebration of your wedding. "I just know we're interrupting some poor soul's afternoon nap", Vil sighs and chuckles.
A log has been placed in front of the entrance of your wedding reception, resembling the first obstacle you and Vil have to overcome as newlyweds. Vil's father hands you the saw to cut it as per tradition. "Hold on, I need to get my gloves", Vil gets his gloves from the car and you chuckle at how on brand this was for him. God forbid Vil Schoenheit breaks a nail on his wedding day. But since Vil is pretty physically strong, the two of you saw through the log rather quickly. "Magnifique!", Rook exclaims and starts clapping.
As the wedding reception you picked an elegant ballroom that reminds you a lot of Pomefiore during your school years. Carefully designed flower bouquets decorate the tables.
You and Vil sit down at the forefront of the tables where all your guests are able to see you. Before the buffet is opened, one of you holds a speech, thanking the guests for the gifts and their attendance and telling the story of how you met and fell in love. Vil's father and optionally, your closest family members, hold speeches as well to express their joy about your union.
After everyone has finished dinner, you share your first dance on the ballroom floor. Vil being Vil, has actually practiced this dance with you for a while before the wedding. Still, even if you'd step on his foot today, he's too happy to care. A slow song plays as you seem to only have eyes for each other for as long as your waltz lasts.
Once your dance concludes, you open the dancefloor to your guests as well to dance with their partners, friends and family. Vil and you hand-picked every song on your wedding playlist.
Sometime later during the evening, your guests have prepared some speeches and party games for you, including a slideshow of your most important memories together and a round of musical chairs which Vil happens to win.

Azul and you decide to hold two wedding celebrations, both under the sea and on land. You hire a wedding planner to help you set the whole thing up and you convince Azul not to charge the guests for the food.
Only your closest family members and friends attend the wedding ceremony under the sea, to make sure that Azul is able to provide enough potions for all of you to breathe underwater.
He's totally the nervous one out of the two of you. Kinda freaks out internally if anything doesn't go according to plan and during the time you spend planning your wedding, he sometimes needs you to take his mind off things and let him rest his head in your lap as you run your fingertips through your fiance's silver hair.
Since there's no real "wedding attire" for merfolk, Azul receives some traditional coral sea body paint which is temporary and luminous. You cup his cheeks before the ceremony. "You're so pretty", you gush quietly and Azul reminds you to save this for after the wedding with a blush on his face.
Azul's mother has to be the happiest guest. She sweeps her son up in a hug. "Awww my little Azul is getting married....they grow up so fast", she wipes her tears, "I remember when you were just 3 and you tried practicing your signature with ink on our living room walls." You giggle. "Mum...please", Azul groans and hides his expression behind his hand.
In remembrance of the mermaid princess's beautiful singing, the mermaids who have been invited to your wedding sing for you as you are united in front of the altar. Azul wraps an arm around your shoulder as the two of you listen to the siren song.
During your vows, you make sure to drive the point home about how beautiful you think Azul is inside and out, something that still gets him a little flustered even after all this time.
"My dearest y/n", Azul begins his own vows and can't resist pressing a kiss to your forehead before continuing with his speech, "when we met, my heart knew no rest nor satisfaction. I grasped for everything within my reach because I myself was unsure of what I was looking for. I know now, that what I really needed was closure and acceptance and love. You were there throughout my journey so far and I want you to be there for the rest of it. I have grown to love you from the bottom of my heart and I fall in love with you more and more every day. I want to share my future with you and I'll stand by your side, come what may, for as long as you'll let me be part of your world."
You seal your marriage with a soft and loving kiss and Azul can't repress the joyful "It's a deal!" that comes out of his mouth. "The only contract I'll be happy to sign with you", you joke.
You receive headpieces that are decorated with shells, featuring a golden shell reminiscent of the necklace the Sea Witch used to wear as the centerpiece.
After the ceremony you are given gifts by your guests. The merfolk typically give you items from land to accompany you on your journey beyond the sea, a tradition that originated from the collection of the mermaid princess and her union with the human prince.
Your celebration on land happens the day after at the beach. There's food and drinks and the atmosphere is as lively as you would expect from a beach wedding. There's sparklers and a bonfire as well.
As the sun sets, you and Azul are sent off in a boat to a ship you have rented where the celebration continues. Your closest friends accompany you with boats as well before the rest of your guests follow you. Your merfolk guests are watching from the surface of the sea.
The wedding celebration ends with a huge firework at midnight. "I love you", Azul whispers to remind you as the fireworks light up the night sky. He has his arms wrapped around you and presses a kiss to your cheek.
After the guests have left the ship, you and Azul are sent off to your honeymoon together.

Leona sees his family members gather around him and ask him a million questions about your upcoming wedding and everyone seems to have their own ideas for how to improve the festivities for the second prince. “You know”, he holds you in his arms on the evening before the wedding, “it’s not too late to ditch everyone and have a shotgun wedding in a neighboring country.” You chuckle and shake your head. “I think Farena would have a crisis if we did that.”
A couple of months before the wedding, the royal family invites your family and they get together over dinner to get to know each other better and discuss your wedding plans with you. Farena is really happy that Leona is getting married and that he’s seeing him actually put effort into something.
The wedding ceremony is held at Pride Rock, just as recorded for every royal couple since the time of the King of Beasts. You, along with several guests, are wrapped in cloth and Leona has to guess which one is his betrothed. His senses never fail him though.
“You know, it would have been so embarrassing if you actually got it wrong. I would have never let you live this down”, you tease him. Leona shrugs. “Literally no one else here smells this much like herbivore”, he smirks and pokes your side affectionately. “I like to think this is a compliment”, you grin. “It is by now. I thought you were a pain back when I met you”, he whispers into your ear. You roll your eyes with a laugh. “What? I’m not allowed to say this during my vows, might as well do it now”, Leona pulls you close as your guests are busy talking to each other, “I don’t know what possessed you to stick around even through my obvious annoyance and terrible attitude but you crawled your way into my heart. I admit I wasn’t…the easiest person to love in the beginning. But I promise that I’ll never let you down again. Or… overblot. Actually I would appreciate it if we could just forget about the overblot.” Leona cringes. “Anyway, ‘suppose what I wanted to say is, thank you for stickin’ by me. I love you. A lot, actually. There was a long time where I didn’t really see a future for myself. But now I do. And I want to spend it with you.”
You are escorted to the wedding ceremony by your respective families. They shake hands before entering the venue together, accompanied by singing, dancing and drums.
Leona’s official vows are very formal and something you knew Farena had beta-read. Nevertheless, you appreciate the gesture. You and Leona exchange rings and your families sign off on it as you are pronounced a married couple. Leona pulls you close and kisses you, wrapping his tail around your waist.
Your closest relatives and associates of the royal court assemble in a circle with you and Leona and your ceremony is concluded by the Royal Mjuzi giving his blessings for your marriage, just as it had already been done during the times where the King of Beasts roamed these lands. The Royal Mjuzi takes his bakora staff adorned with baobab fruits and shakes it in front of you.
Leona and you light a unity candle before you ascend to the top of Pride Rock along with Farena and the queen. “I could lift you up and show you to the people like they did with Cheka when he was born”, Leona whispered with a smirk on his face. “I would prefer it if you do not do that”, you whisper back and shake your head. “Seriously don’t”, Farena warns his younger brother and Leona lets out a quiet laugh.
When you reach the top of Pride Rock, masses of people from Sunset Savannah have assembled below you, clapping and cheering as congratulations to your marriage. The royal family waves to the people and the live music reaches its climax.
As you descend from the large rock, the elders of the community give their wisdom and encouragement to you and Leona
The celebration after the ceremony happens on the palace grounds. Several emissaries from foreign countries as well as Sunset Savannah nobles have been invited and the celebration is also seen as an opportunity to improve Sunset Savannah’s ties with other nations. “Now we get to talk to stuck-up politicians, advocate for King Farena’s ideas and look pretty”, Leona whispers, never really having dropped the cynicism about his status as the second prince, “unless you’re open for suggestions…” “Leona, we’re not going to ditch the celebration, take a jeep out into the wilderness and kiss under the stars….okay maybe after the event we can do that.” “You know me too well”, your husband chuckles and wraps his arms around you from behind.
“Do you think the great kings of the past give us their blessings as well?”, he asks, looking up at the stars. “I thought you said the stars were just giant balls of hot gas burning millions of miles away from us?”, you raise an eyebrow. “Eh, it’s a pick and choose thing for me, really”, Leona smiles and kisses your cheek, “I love you, herbivore.”

I'm glad to see a Reiji fan.
Can I request being in a relationship with Reiji Headcanons?
Thank you in advance.
Reiji Sakamaki Alphabet Head canon
Sfw Alphabet Head canon
A – Affection
Reiji shows affection through his attentiveness rather than overt sentiment. He adjusts your scarf before you step outside, refills your tea without asking, and smooths your hair when it’s out of place. To many, this would seem like nothing more than nitpicking—but from Reiji, it’s a quiet confession. He doesn’t give spontaneous hugs or gush over you, but he’ll remember your preferences, your quirks, your routines—down to the smallest detail. These little acts of service and refinement are how he expresses warmth in a world where love is rare, fragile, and often seen as a weakness.
“You are important enough to be perfect.”
B – Bonding
Bonding with Reiji means entering his world of structure, discipline, and intellectual engagement. He invites you to help in the lab not because he needs assistance, but because he values your presence beside him. Conversations with him can stretch deep into the night, covering topics from alchemy to philosophy. He’ll lend you his favorite books and ask your thoughts later, observing your insights with an unreadable expression—though inwardly, he's thrilled you took the time. If you can match him in wit, or even disagree respectfully, he’s quietly delighted. That’s where connection lies for him: in shared intellect and mutual growth.
C – Cuddles
He may act flustered or pretend to scold you if you initiate cuddles—especially in public—but if you press close during the night, he won’t push you away. In fact, you’ll find that Reiji is incredibly grounding to cuddle. He prefers calm, stable positions—like holding you against his chest with your back to him or having your head rest in his lap while he reads. In these moments, he becomes less the strict nobleman and more the silent guardian, arms firm around you like you’re something precious he never expected to have. He won’t say it aloud, but these moments are everything to him.
D – Dates
Reiji's ideal date is like something out of a classical novel. He won’t take you to loud, chaotic places—instead, he plans elegant evenings of refined taste: gallery exhibitions, piano recitals, historical tours of ancient estates, or a candlelit dinner he personally prepares. He ensures every detail is curated to perfection, from the cutlery to your attire. He even offers you his arm in true aristocratic fashion. During the date, he’ll be the perfect gentleman, gently correcting your etiquette while sipping tea, and if you show appreciation for his effort, you might just catch the faintest smirk on his lips.
E – Emotions
Reiji keeps his emotions under tight lock and key. He was raised to prioritize control and logic over sentiment, and anything beyond that makes him uncomfortable. But over time, in the quietest, most vulnerable moments, you may catch glimpses. A tremor in his voice when he thinks you’re hurt. A flash of panic in his eyes when you’re late coming home. He won’t cry, not in front of you—but if he ever did, it would mean you’ve seen the real Reiji: not the heir, not the enforcer, but the man. To be trusted with that raw part of him is a gift he gives to no one lightly.
F – Flirting
Reiji flirts like he’s fencing—sharp, poised, and with precise intent. His compliments are always double-edged, often sounding like critiques unless you listen closely. He loves to provoke a reaction, to make your cheeks warm without ever getting flustered himself. There’s a knowing gleam in his eye whenever you try to fire back with wit, and if you succeed? He’s silently impressed—and hopelessly intrigued.
“You’ve made remarkable progress. I was beginning to wonder if you were capable of refinement at all.”
G – Gifts
Gift-giving is almost a sacred act for Reiji. He never gives things just because—it must be relevant, needed, or symbolic. He notices things you don’t realize you reveal: the kind of pen you favor, the perfume you paused to smell at a shop window, or the way your eyes lit up at a piece of rare porcelain. The gifts he gives are always thoughtful and beautifully presented, often with a few meaningful words. Every gift from Reiji says: I see you. I understand you. I’ve planned for you.
“This is more suitable for someone of your grace.”
H – Honesty
Brutal honesty is both Reiji’s strength and flaw. He doesn’t lie to spare your feelings—he respects you too much for that. If you make a mistake, he’ll correct you. If you’re being irrational, he’ll call it out. And yet, this same honesty makes his praise feel like treasure. When he tells you he’s proud, or that you’ve impressed him, it feels earned. And in rare moments of vulnerability, when he admits to needing you, there’s nothing more sincere in the world.
I – Intimacy
Intimacy with Reiji is not rushed. It is built, brick by brick, through trust and loyalty. For him, allowing someone into his private world is far more intimate than any touch. If he invites you into his study while he works, or lets you see him disheveled after a long night—these are signs he trusts you beyond words. When you reach out to him in return, silently holding his hand while he reads or massaging his temples after stress, you’re strengthening that sacred connection he never thought he’d be allowed to have.
J – Jealousy
Reiji’s jealousy is a quiet, burning thing—simmering beneath the surface like a forge. He won’t shout or sulk, but the air will shift when he feels his position is being threatened. His tone sharpens. His words become colder, clipped. If someone dares flirt with you, he’ll step in with a polite but unmistakably intimidating presence, placing a gloved hand on your lower back as a clear claim. In private, he’ll confront you calmly—but with surgical precision. It’s not just possessiveness; it's pride. If you ease his doubts and reassure him, the fire cools. But never make the mistake of playing games—Reiji is not someone who tolerates being toyed with.
“Tell me… was their company more stimulating than mine?”
K – Kisses
Reiji’s kisses are intentional. He doesn’t kiss mindlessly—each one is delivered like a vow, a reward, or a form of control. He favors your hand, forehead, and occasionally your temple, especially in public. On rare, passionate occasions, he’ll cup your cheek or grasp your chin to kiss you fully, slowly, as if memorizing your taste. These are rare but profound moments when the mask slips and you feel just how deeply he cherishes you—even if his pride won’t let him say the words. He kisses like a man starved for affection but terrified of depending on it.
L – Love Language
Reiji’s love language is acts of service paired with words of affirmation—though the latter takes longer to surface. He’s the type to wake early and ensure everything in your day runs smoothly without telling you he was behind it. Did your favorite blend of tea arrive just when you ran out? Was your outfit perfectly tailored overnight? That’s Reiji. As for affirmations, when he finally says,
“I admire you,” or “You bring structure to my life in ways I never thought possible,” he means it with every fiber of his being.
M – Mornings
Reiji’s mornings begin before the sun rises. He thrives in silence, sipping tea while planning his day with military-like precision. If you’re still sleeping, he adjusts your blanket and watches you for a brief moment—his gaze soft, almost melancholic. If you’re up with him, he’ll engage you in quiet conversation over breakfast, subtly checking that you’re following proper etiquette. But if you surprise him with affection—like resting your head on his shoulder mid-meal—he may freeze, blush faintly, then clear his throat and resume his composure. You make his rigid mornings feel… warmer.
N – Nicknames
Reiji isn't the type for cutesy nicknames. He prefers refined titles like “my dear,” “beloved,” or “precious one”—always tinged with a formal elegance. If you’re particularly close, he may use your full name with a softness that makes it sound sacred. When he’s feeling especially vulnerable, he’ll whisper a personal nickname only you get to hear—something like “mein licht” (my light), said in quiet moments no one else witnesses.
O – Obsessions
Reiji obsesses over order—over making sure everything and everyone is in their rightful place. That includes you. He doesn’t want to control your every move, but he wants to understand them, predict them, keep you safe from the chaos he despises. The idea of you being hurt, corrupted, or drifting away unsettles him more than he will ever admit. He’ll observe your habits, routines, relationships—sometimes too closely. Not out of mistrust, but because your happiness and presence in his life have become the one variable he can’t afford to lose.
P – Protectiveness
Reiji’s protectiveness manifests through control and preparation. He’ll train you in self-defense, arm you with knowledge, and subtly steer you away from danger before you even know it's there. He rarely resorts to physical violence unless someone truly threatens you—then he becomes ice-cold and merciless. His protection is less about brute force and more about ensuring you never find yourself vulnerable.
“I won’t always be beside you. So, you must be prepared, my dear.” He sees protecting you not just as an act of love—but as his duty.
Q – Quirks
Reiji has a habit of pushing his glasses up precisely when making a point—usually right before correcting someone. He alphabetizes everything, from his books to his spices, and has an uncanny ability to notice when something is one millimeter out of place. He also tends to murmur classical composers' names while cleaning or working, and he has a secret stash of fine teas he doesn’t share with anyone… unless it’s you.
R – Romantic Gestures
Romance, for Reiji, is composed of grand subtlety. He’ll write you letters in beautiful calligraphy when he’s away, plan perfectly timed surprises like a candlelit bath after a stressful day, or take you on a midnight stroll under the stars with a lantern he prepared himself. He believes in timeless romance—the kind that leaves a lasting impression without needing words. And when you look at him like he’s the only person in the world, even his cold, calculated heart softens like wax in a flame.
S – Soft Moments
Every now and then, the layers peel back—just a little. Reiji sitting beside you while you sleep, brushing stray strands of hair away with a tenderness no one would believe. Reiji allowing you to fix his tie, watching your fingers with quiet wonder. Reiji leaning into your embrace for just a moment longer than he should. These rare glimpses into his vulnerability are never planned—but they are proof that beneath his rules and rigidity lies a soul that aches to be loved, gently and without fear.
T – Touch
He isn’t naturally touchy, but he’s deeply affected by it. A hand on his arm. Fingers lacing with his as he lectures. A kiss to his knuckles. He might act composed, but his heartbeat surges every time. Over time, he begins to crave it quietly—hovering near you so your hands brush or standing behind your chair with a hand resting lightly on your shoulder. Touch becomes an anchor, a wordless promise, I am here. You are safe.
U – Understanding
Reiji isn’t the easiest man to understand—but once you do, you realize he craves structure because his life was filled with chaos. He demands discipline because it’s how he protects what he loves. If you’re patient, if you see past the walls, you’ll find someone who is deeply self-aware, who wants to be good—but doesn’t quite know how. And if you accept him, flaws and all, you give him something he never knew he needed, the grace of unconditional love.
V – Voice
His voice is low, smooth, and refined—like a cello in a quiet room. He speaks deliberately, choosing each word with care, and never raises his voice unless truly provoked. When he’s being affectionate, his tone becomes softer, deeper, often dropping to a near-whisper when he says your name. And when he’s furious? He doesn’t shout. He slices through the room with words sharper than any blade.
W – Worries
Despite his calm exterior, Reiji worries more than he shows. He fears losing control—not just over situations, but over himself. He worries that one day, you’ll see the parts of him he can’t fix, his envy, his self-doubt, his buried resentment. Most of all, he fears that you’ll leave him behind once you realize how cold and broken he really feels beneath the perfection. But instead of sharing these fears, he channels them into actions—protecting you, preparing you, holding the world at bay so you’ll never have to see him fall apart.
X – (E)Xes
Reiji doesn’t speak of past lovers—if he’s had any, they were never close to his heart. He doesn’t believe in wasting time on shallow connections. If he is with you, it means you are the one he has chosen carefully, with full intent. The idea of you having an ex might irk him internally, but he would never confront you about it unless he suspects they still matter to you. And if they do? He will politely, strategically, and utterly destroy any chance they have of coming back into your life.
Y – Yearning
Reiji doesn’t allow himself to yearn often—but when he does, it’s all-consuming. He’ll stare at the seat you always occupy when you're away. He’ll reread letters you’ve written. He’ll polish your tea cup even though he already did it. He misses you with a longing that burns behind his eyes but never spills from his lips. When you return, he greets you with his usual calm tone—but holds your hand just a second longer, his thumb brushing your skin in silent relief.
Z – Zzz (Sleep Habits)
He’s a light sleeper, restless if he isn’t perfectly aligned in his bed or if the room isn’t in order. But when you’re there, it changes. You bring peace to his otherwise rigid nighttime routine. He’ll hold you close, one arm wrapped around you securely, as if shielding you from his own nightmares. If you fall asleep on his chest, he reads quietly until you drift deeper—then lets his own eyes close, for once feeling like everything is… safe.

The Tortured Poets Department: {Slytherin boys version} A Headcanon.
[Mattheo Riddle-Theodore Nott-Lorenzo Berkshire-Blaise Zabini-Draco Malfoy

The Department: These five delinquents may not be penning sonnets, but they cause enough drama to fill a Shakespearean tragedy. They're the rebels, and champions of chaos at Hogwarts.
The Name: name, bestowed upon them by Professor Abraxas Rookwood, a man as obsessed with forbidden muggle literature as he was with the Dark Arts, was a cruel irony. Rookwood, with his melancholic readings of Byron and Shelley, saw their broodiness reflected in these young Slytherins, They became the Tortured Poets, their "poetry" scrawled not with ink, but with blood and fear.

The Rules (Unbreakable):
Loyalty is Our Blood Oath: Mess with one of them, you mess with all of them. This unwavering loyalty is their foundation.Betrayal is a fate worse than expulsion. A single transgression could result in a "disappearance," a fate worse than Azkaban.
Secrets are sacred currency: What's shared in the dimly lit corners of the Department stays there. Unless it involves a particularly juicy Ministry scandal, then all bets are off (courtesy of Blaise Zabini's insatiable gossip appetite).
Darkness is a double-edged sword: They embraced their darkness, honing it into a weapon against those who deserved it - revel in darkness too long, and it devours you whole.
Art over Arson: Destruction wasn't the goal. The Department aimed to leave their mark with a touch of twisted artistry.A perfectly sculpted ice sculpture of a screaming victim, a whispered poem etched on a sleeping rival's forehead, a haunting melody tinged with despair echoing through the halls.
No Scars: The mark of a Tortured Poet was discretion. Leaving physical evidence was a rookie mistake. The true artist left only a shattered spirit.
No Outsiders: The Department is a closed casket. New members are hand-picked, tested, and broken before being deemed worthy.
Never Love, Only Possess: Love is a weakness, a vulnerability they cannot afford. Possession, domination – these are the true expressions of power. ( a rule they all broke )

The Members:
- Mattheo "The Mastermind" Riddle:
The brains behind the operation. Heir to a dark legacy, Mattheo possessed a chilling charisma that masked a calculating mind. He wielded curses with grace, his voice a silken threat, capable of weaving hypnotic lies or unleashing venomous truths. Mattheo is cunning and calculating, always two steps ahead with a plan so outlandish it just might work. He's the one who assigns roles and ensures their targets get a taste of their own medicine (or worse). He embodies the darkness, a shadow that chills even the bravest hearts.
Theodore "The Artist" Nott:
With a talent for manipulating shadows, Theo could create phantoms that danced on the walls, whispering secrets and igniting paranoia. brewed potions that twisted emotions and conjured illusions that blurred the lines between reality and nightmare. His signature move: A shroud of darkness that swallowed the victim, leaving them alone with their inner demons. He was also The department's strategist. His mind, as sharp as a serpent's fang, weaved intricate webs of psychological manipulation. He took a perverse pleasure in dissecting his victims, unraveling their secrets with a chilling detachment.
Lorenzo "The Charmer" Berkshire:
The Charmer. Lorenzo's weapon of choice is not a wand, but his silver tongue. He can disarm with a smile and deceive with a single word. Information is his currency, secrets his trophies. He is the Department's siren, luring the unsuspecting into a web of lies. tongue that could weave illusions as real as dreams. His victims, lulled into a false sense of security, often found themselves entangled in compromising situations or facing fabricated scandals.
Blaise "The Blackmailer" Zabini:
Blaise has a knack for finding dirt on everyone and isn't afraid to use it to his advantage .He's the one who gathers intel and makes sure no one double-crosses the Tortured Poets. He was the Shadow Dancer. Elusive and acrobatic, Blaise was the Department's phantom. He could infiltrate even the most secure locations, leaving behind unsettling calling cards – a misplaced object, a cryptic message scrawled on a dusty window pane.
Draco "The Distraction" Malfoy:
Draco was the prodigy, a master of forbidden spells before he even reached adulthood. His talent fueled a quiet arrogance, but his loyalty to the group was undeniable. He was their muscle, the unleashed storm of magic when subtlety failed. He saw emotions as a map, effortlessly navigating the labyrinthine corridors of fear and hope.
◣━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◢
The Tortured Poets Department existed in the shadows of Hogwarts, a clandestine group teetering on the edge of sanity. They were not poets, but dark artists, sculpting fear and pain into a twisted form of power, a chilling testament to the allure and danger that lurks in the human heart.

Wheel of Time, Season 3, Episode 2 (second watch) Liveblog
Elayne like "This is the largest gay bar in the world, please don't take me away"
Emotionally Intelligent Lan never fails to jumpscare me lmao
I already said this but I do need to reiterate: Galad would not fuck
I like that we see Morgase's accepted ring like, first thing. Also those maid headdresses that look like approximately one-fourth of a swan has been applied directly to the entire head? They're very good. Very intimidating. Very high fashion.
I'm now watching to see if Elaida has the bracelet this early- hard to tell tho.
So. I was not a huge fan of the Lannister lean-in thing they did with Morgause on first watch. But I've seen some commentary that has reconciled me a bit more to it- one is that people were going to make the comparison between Andor's whole vibe and Game of Thrones anyway, so they called it to mind deliberately but contrasted it with Morgase's slightly more strategic/principled(?) motivation. This is the kind of thing that RJ did with the first 200 pages of EotW and The Fellowship of the Ring- deliberately echoing the more familiar property before going in a different direction with it- so it's not like that's a new-to-WoT tactic. The other bit of commentary that has influenced me is the argument that it sets up some really juicy stuff for Elayne to work with later in her succession plot.
Elayne is so cute when she lies through her teeth
Siuan waiting a very precisely calculated amount of time to let them in lmao
Siuan is WEIRDLY smiley re: Lord Gaebril considering her mood moments before…
This is obviously because of the letter Elayne sent, but I honestly don't know why Elayne told Morgase she was kidnapped if she didn't want to get hauled home. Maybe to drive home the Seanchan threat?
I forgot who I first thought the people in the ways were, but I was totally wrong. As we find out later, it's Alanna and Maksim, but yeah, wtf are they doing in the Two Rivers in this turning? Still hunting for novices?
Yeah that was a significantly long pause for Elayne before she acknowledged Gabril
Mat looks good in green :)
If only we had someone who could fix mind diseases! [thinks about Mat in Graendal's clutches] NEVERMIND NO ONE NEEDS THERAPY
The implication of 'honorary great serpent ring' is that Morgase didn't have to go through the Arch(es) but honestly since they don't require channeling and are a character/commitment test similar to [SPOILERS FOR LATER IN THE SEASON] I've always headcanoned that Daughter-Heirs of Andor who went to the Tower actually took the test. But maybe it's seen as too risky for them to actually take it? I'd certainly buy that in this universe.
Elayne like "This is the largest gay bar in the world, please don't take me away"
Emotionally Intelligent Lan never fails to jumpscare me lmao
I love the contrast between the Aiel 'save and destroy' and the WT 'save or destroy' here; it's less of a stark contrast in the books but I think it's a really interesting nuance to dwell on and fits with the overall themes of encoutering different perspectives and the subjectivity of history/prophecy. Also I love Avi talking duty with Egwene and Moiraine, just like, on principle.
These landscapes holy shit
At least we know that Marin is the kind of person who would hide people in her attic
Alanna, Perrin used to live here. What the fuck are YOU doing in the Two Rivers?
lmao once you get an Elaida infestation it's hard to get her out
ooof. I bet Siuan is thinking in terms of another Darkfriend attack on the Tower re: Min's visions.
Mat, you absolute dumbass [derogatory]. That said, Clara is super hot. "I think everyone is into this kind of thing, Mat" - excellent line delivery Nyneave
Awwwww is Nyneave wearing Lan's ring around her neck? Or her great serpent ring?
"And is the Lion Throne under threat?" damn Nyneave is killing it this episode
Rand you cheating ho
I already said this but I do need to reiterate: Galad would not fuck
I knew immediately that someone was gonna catch Elayne vamping with the crown and I was preemptively embarrassed for her I hate that Gaebril is charming I hate it I hate it (it's very good) Galad is always serious oooof not Gareth Bryne :( High-Functioning Alcoholic Elayne T_T I buy it but it hurts me
THE MAT AND SIUAN SCENE IS PERFECT. Also it sounds at the beginning like she's got him as a guest on her early morning tv show/interview podcast and that always makes me laugh. I really hope that she and Mat get to meet again because they were so fun to watch together.
And now for another scene of masterful manipulation! GO GO ELAYNE
Elayne: "My path will always lead back to Andor." Me: '-through the circus.'
Lan listens but you aren't fucking talking, Rand
Lmao I'm enjoying the barely veiled threats in this Morgase & Siuan confrontation

(MK1/12) Kitana and Mileena Headcanons
Kitana:
-Kitana likes Raiden but doesn’t want to pursue a relationship because of their different lifespans.
-She was unintentionally compared to her sister because she wasn’t as interested in combat and was weaker than Mileena.
-She had a small crush on Liu Kang for a couple of years (nothing came of it).
-Kitana is interested in traveling to Earthrealm and experiencing the culture, especially after watching some movies Johnny recommended.
-Kitana chose the fan as her weapon because it matched her more defensive fighting style, but added the blades on the ends for offensive purposes.
-She is very apprehensive of Tanya because she comforted and helped Mileena through her breakups. Kitana sees how much her sister loves Tanya and doesn’t want to see her get it hurt.
-After Jerrod’s death, Kitana became the mediator of Sindel and Mileena’s arguments. She often wonders how he did it so well.
-Her and Sindel had a closer relationship because there was no pressure to train Kitana to be the next Empress and their different personalities matched well. They would often have tea or plant flowers in the gardens.
-The idea of Kitana being Empress became more favorable after her frequent visits to the cities and helping citizens when needed. Her compassion became well renowned.
-As children, Mileena would call her “Kitty”.
Mileena:
-Along with Li Mei, Mileena was trained by General Shao since their brutal fighting styles matched. The two were close when Mileena was a child and young teen but it faded when Shao grew resentful towards Sindel and Jerrod’s rule.
-She’s had multiple secret affairs throughout her teens and early adulthood. They usually ended after Mileena learned she was being taken advantage of or a mutual break up because betrothment was not possible.
-Mileena was a troublemaker and would sneak out multiple times without anyone knowing until she contracted Tarkat from one of those outings.
-Her relationship with Tanya began after Jerrod’s death and Tanya comforted her during the grieving process.
-Mileena came out to Kitana first since she trusted her sister would be there for her and not tell their parents before she did. Kitana and Mileena hugged and the former told her that nothing would break their sisterly bond. She was nervous about coming out to her parents because she didn’t want them to view her differently and the idea of producing an heir weighed heavy on her. She was happy when they assured her that they still love her and nothing would change that. Mileena cried during both instances.
-Mileena chose the sai as her weapon since it matched her aggressive fighting style and made her focus on defensive fighting.
-Mileena chose Kitana to replace Shao because of her sister’s compassion and wish to unite Outworld, something Shao lacked.
-Her and Jerrod had a closer relationship because she could vent to her father about her worries and frustrations with being the future empress without judgment. They also spent time walking in the gardens and having picnics.
-After Sindel started training Mileena, their relationship soured since it became the basis of it and led to many disagreements.
-As children, Kitana would call her “Milly”.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣?
I feel like you and Gojo still get together first, such undeniable love and attraction just drags you two together no matter what reality.
However, you start to realise you’re in love with Geto - I don’t think Gojo realises for a while that he is completely head over heels for his best friend, but you can see it clear as day. You see how Geto looks at him too, but you’re completely clueless as to how to approach the topic with anyone. You love both the boys, and Gojo loves you both too.
Eventually, one late night on a sky rise building rooftop, just you and Gojo, you tell him you know about his feelings for Geto. He just smiles and sees he knows too, saying you’re not as good at hiding as you think.
You ask him would he rather be with him, to which he responds that he feels like you’re a piece of him - one he couldn’t live without. If Geto was his twin flame, then you were his soulmate. A surprising moment of maturity from the six eyes. The vulnerability between you both leads to you both moaning and wrapped in each others bodies under the stars, professing your love for each other as the sheer level of trust and openness in your relationship only strengthens it.
Shoko is in hell. The mental fatigue of watching this absolute triangle of feelings is what drives her to smoking.
Eventually, it’s a late night, Shoko is away having a ‘friendly sleepover’ with Utahime so it’s just you and the boys in Gojo’s dorm room, it’s third year now so you’re all talking about where you could live after you graduate.
Gojo suggests getting an apartment together, the three of you, since Shoko wants to travel for a year.
Geto says he doesn’t want to play third wheel 24/7, you joke that you play third wheel to them more often - then Gojo just smiles, wide and confident as ever.
“What if nobody third wheeled?” He smirks.
Your jaw dropped open, you’d both talked about how you’d love to have Geto in the relationship too but you didn’t know how to go about that - or if he would be interested. Luckily, Shoko had drunkenly let slip to Gojo as he gave her a piggyback home one night that Geto had confessed he loved you both the last time they shared a joint in his dorm.
You gape at his confidence, born through his status as heir to one of the three big clans and the most powerful sorcerer alive. He knows himself, and his worth.
“Stop bullshitting, Satoru.” Suguru huffs a laugh.
Your boyfriend glances at you - silently searching your face for apprehension. You just smile and nod at him.
“He’s not, Suguru.” You smile at him, hand clasping Satoru’s.
“Only thing better than 2 is 3.” Satoru shrugs.
Suguru just searches your faces for a second, eyes narrowed as if searching for traces of the usual mischief you both get up to.
When he finds none, he runs a hand through his hair.
“You - both of you?”
“Both of us, you’re quite the heartthrob.” Satoru smirks.
“It’s not just physical, Suguru - I - we, we love you.” You tentatively reach out your other hand that’s not entwined with Satoru’s and touch Suguru’s cheek, cradling his sharp jaw in your hand.
He tenses for a second, eyes darting between you both.
“Fuck.” Is the only thing that escapes his mouth before he crashes his lips against yours, messily and hungrily as his other hand grasps the back of Satoru’s hair to tug him in to you both.
Geto tastes like coffee, coffee and something spicier - it’s like a dichotomy because Satoru always taste of sweetness and mint and you realise they’re truly Sugar and Spice.
Suguru’s lips are more rough than Satoru’s, an all consuming, devouring feeling - as if he would eat you whole if you let him. He moans when you slide your hand into his hair as you use the other one to steady yourself on Satoru’s thigh. Nibbling at Suguru’s lower lip, his hand on your waist tightens before he lets go and pulls Gojo toward him, meeting his lips in an equally ferocious way. Watching your boyfriend of almost 2 years and the other man you’re in love with passionate make out sends a jolt though your spine right down to your belly, you wonder if this was how Satoru felt watching you.
Satoru’s hands lay possessive on Geto’s jawline as he lets out a groan when Geto slightly tugs his hair to the side for easier access. You can see the beginnings of two tents in each of the boys trousers - and you smirk. While they’re busy up there… maybe you could get busy down here…
You push in between them, not breaking the kiss and sit on Satoru’s lap, beginning to alternate leaving soft pecks and hot open mouthed kisses on both the boy’s necks and the each reach a hand to grab onto your waist. The taste of each of their skin lingers in your mouth and you let out a soft whine as Satoru’s free hand snakes around your waist and he separates from Geto.
“Princess, we’ve had plenty of time to have fun together - haven’t we? How about you be a good girl now and show your new boyfriend how good you make me feel, hm?” He says, with a languid smirk - cocky as ever, but oh so dominant that you just eagerly nod and look to Suguru who just smirks back and pats his lap.
“You too, Satoru. No slacking’ off, c’mere pretty boy.” Suguru drawls.
You place yourself on your knees and bend down at the waist at Satoru resumes kissing Suguru above you, Suguru’s hands are on Satoru’s hips, whose right hand is playing with your hair as your trail kisses on Suguru’s clothed thighs. You tug at his shirt, and Satoru’s too - a signal for them to remove it and you whimper at the sight. Both toned, abs for days - equally solid and broad - more scars and a large chest tattoo of a beautiful dragon adoring Suguru. You can’t believe you’re here - watching them sloppily devour each other while you’re on your knees.
“Ah-ah, babydoll - hardly fair for just us to strip is it?” Suguru says, his first command to you has you squirming.
You can already tell that when it comes to sex, you’re at the bottom of the pecking order here.
“I was just enjoying the view, ‘Guru.” You smile innocently, batting your lashes.
“Manners, princess.” Satoru warns.
You lift your soft sweater up over your shoulders and you’re very glad you decided on the cute lilac lace bra today because both men are audibly impressed.
“What a fuckin’ view. Should have done this so much sooner.” Suguru growls.
Soon enough, you’re tugging Suguru’s boxers down his thighs and a girthy, drool inducing cock sitting around 7.5 inches slaps against his stomach, a soft sweat emanating from the white haired man above you as you consider that you really have the best of both worlds. Satoru is longer, 9 inches and painfully pretty with a delicious curve and girth enough to feel the stretch but Suguru - you know your hand won’t fit around that. Kitten licking at the top, you enjoy the view of Suguru sucking marks into Satoru’s pale skin as he palms the groaning boy through his CK boxers.
The rest of the night passes in the three of you basking in the feeling and heat of newly professed love and exploring your bodies - Suguru occasionally sitting to watch Satoru fuck you so he can figure out what you both like, and then proceeding to experiment with you both.
You’re glad Shoko isn’t there, because the building probably rattled with the force of an earthquake through the night.
The next morning, you woke up entangled with the boys and giggled, heart so full.
You three went out for waffles, then talked about how this would work. You worried about what the Gojo Clan would say - Satoru said he didn’t give a flying fuck. Suguru huffed a laugh at the fact that the three strongest sorcerers alive were now together, which made you laugh at how much the higher ups are going to fucking hate it.
Suguru told you both he loved you both too in the early hours of the morning, even though you told him there was no pressure. Satoru then called him his boyfriend and you his girlfriend seconds later to which you poked him in the chest saying “Jesus, ‘toru! We gotta ask him out! We can’t just assume.”
“Princess - did I ever ask you out? No - I saw what I wanted and took it. So I’m just doing the same.”
When Shoko came home the next day, she just walked in on you kissing Suguru and holding hands with Satoru as you watched a movie and all she said was.
“Thank fuck, I couldn’t put up with that any longer. Don’t fuck on the sofa.” Before she gave a hint of a smile and waltzed to the morgue.
Nanami didn’t really give a damn.
The higher ups were disgusted, less so you think with you three all dating each other and more with the fact that you’re individual power could each wipe them off the face of the earth, two of you dating and being friends with another was bad enough - but all of you? With the elements of love mixed in? Lethal. You three loved it.
It became easy for you and Satoru to help with the slumps in Suguru’s mental health, being closer to him and having more vulnerability gave you the access you needed to be his rock.
Dynamics eventually emerged, you were the boss of the boys, no question - but in the bedroom - it swapped. Suguru was a hard ass dom, less teasing that the also dominant Satoru and more brutal and primal. It took time to find rhythms, how things would work - for example a big issue was the bed.
They were both so god damn tall and broad, sharing with Satoru had been bad enough but now? With Geto Suguru there too? You had no chance of A) blanket or B) breathing. So you marched them both to the furniture store and insisted on a California King Bed. They agreed, though Satoru didn’t like the idea of being further from you both.
The year finished, and you three bought (Satoru bought) a penthouse apartment not far from the school. You’d been offered a teaching position, Satoru too - Suguru wanted to stay in the field a while longer but eventually would come to teach too. You all agreed education was the best way to reshape society in the way you all envisioned it.
That’s when the letter came.
Ijichi had found them - the kids.
The Fushiguro Kids.
You and Suguru didn’t know about this - until Satoru showed up at the door of the apartment with two children.
So.
Guess you’re parents now?

Hi! Heinrix's LI romance ending seems to imply that his relationship with the RT remains a secret, and I was wondering if you knew why? Is a relationship between a Lord Inquisitor and a Rogue Trader prohibited or something? Or am I misreading it and it's not really a secret, they just don't shout it from the rooftops?
Hi! Thank you so much for your question ❤️
It does sound a bit like they want to keep it hidden:
I can imagine why - for two reasons: protection and authority.
Imagine everyone knows about them - someone who wants to hurt the Lord Inquisitor Heinrix might start to target the Rogue Trader instead - if not directly then maybe indirectly by going after her/their heirs or by spreading rumours, or trying to ruin her reputation etc.
Someone might also try to accuse Heinrix of protecting the Rogue Trader out of personal reasons and basically not following his duty. Depending on who is bringing forth these accusations, he might get in the defensive.
It would be a potential weakness to exploit by his enemies. And vice versa.
Of course - you could also see it the other way around - someone thinking about messing with one of them might be discouraged if they see who else might get involved.
In game, Heinrix can already tell you several times that he is concerned about your reputation if you get involved with him. If the Rogue Trader literally goes to bed with the Inquisition it might have a negative impact on how the Rogue Trader is seen (depending on the faction at least) and on deals with certain (more shady) business partners perhaps. The nobles might also think that RT is only a puppet for the Inquisition - of course, they should be interested in supporting the Inquisition but I think usually they are more interested in their own gains and power and Inquisition is bad news for them.
So it could simply lead to unnecessary issues if their relationship get's known and weaken their positions.
But - there is also an ending where RT can join the Inquisition. Reputation would then be less of an issue but they might still keep their love secret from people (at least outside the Inquisition) for security reasons. Or not - we don't have a romance specific slide for this case.
There is room for headcanon, even if you like to stick close to the game's ending slides.

More MCD headcanons for the rewrite!!
Kim is a medium who briefly falls for Laurance before realizing he is with Garroth and Aphmau. As a medium, she soon learns that the Divine Warriors are all present at Phoenix Drop, she's aware of Malachi's former death, and at one point allows Dante to speak to his parents after they pass.
What the Fuck is the celestial cannon. Like seriously there is no way something that high-tech would have been made thousnds of years before MCD, when they barely have redstone lamps and shit. That doesn't exist
The "relic maker" is on the Nether. When Irene sacrificed hers and Shad's daughter, as well as the others to make the relics, Shad tried to sacrifice her there and died falling into a pit of lava.
Kul'zak was the dad of the group. He cared fiercely for each member, completely devastated when Shad died.
Irene lied about how Shad died.
Aphmau has innate healing magic, Aaron is immune to the Nether, Lucinda is a jack-of-all-trades witch, Garroth can manifest shields, Laurance has heightened agility and charisma, and Travis has access to a magic grimoire and a demonic form.
Travis only flirted with Aphmau because he doesn't know how people work and wasn't surprised when Laurance tackled him down. He eventually wins over Katelyn but genuinely has drunkenly confessed that Zane was a little hot in his Jury Form.
Zane's motivation was wanting to be loved, admired, praised. Garroth was the golden child, he needed to prove himself. He needed to be better.
The Ultima curse should have died with Shad and his daughter, but it didn't. Every time he reincarnates, it inflicts the curse once again, and then he either is incarnated into the line or starts a new one.
Laurance was not born a meif'wa. he was cursed into one by the Maxima. His family was, too, but they didn't survive. Cadenza found the baby crying in a floating cradle doen the river.
The Maxima, mentioned in my previous post, was a were-meif'wa. Potentially, this is Michi/Mikai, and Aphmau and Katelyn were temporarily cursed the same way they are in canon.
Katelyn hates water. Maybe it's residual from her time as a meif'wa. It also rusts her armor, which is her excuse.
Leona is Zane and Kiki's daughter, heir of O'khasis. She is not Bodolf's. She was, however, turned into a lu'pine by Aaron during a rage caused by Ein.
Lowell and Leona partially grow up together as Kiki left Phoenix Drop during the seven years. They are often pressured by the pack to marry each other once they're grown.
Logan getting bitten is terrifying for Ru'an. They thought they werewolves were extinct. They thought the ultima was killed in a religious crusade.
Lu'pines do not care that "dogs" (in quotations because most breeds resemble wolves more) are pets. They find it amusing when it makes humans uncomfortable.
Roxy (Nicole's fox) and Thorgi become absolute best friends. Inseperable. Thorgi lives with Nicole in Scaleswind, passing shortly after reuniting with Aphmau.
Phoenix is the only of Aphmau's dogs to follow her to the Irene Dimension. Aphmau regrets this. He practically raises Celestia.
Malachi keeps his magical ability to induce nightmares. He accidently does this to Kyle, Zoey, Alexis, Levin, and Dante often after the portal closes.

this has always been in my head, but I always think of the possibility of Vegeta's mother. what does she look like? what's her personality like? does she love her two sons? was she as strong as king Vegeta? she's gotta be if she's the queen. although Vegeta is one of the main characters, we barely know much of his family history. even the other characters were surprised he had a younger brother. just tidbits from official sources and anime only scenes.
You and me both. I’m always thinking about Vegeta and Tarble’s Mother, the wife of King Vegeta III, the literal Queen of the Saiyans!
What happened to her? Where is she? Did she die along side the Saiyans or did she pass before the destruction of their planet? Does Vegeta know his mother, if so how did he feel about her? What was his relationship like with her? SO MANY QUESTIONS!!
And given that we didn’t get a confirmation of Goku’s own mother, Gine, until like 2014 when she made her debut in the manga and first animated appearance being in Broly movie in 2018, it’s probably gonna take even LONGER for us to get even anything in canon to acknowledge Vegeta’s mother.
I've always said that the next thing we should get is a Vegeta movie, specifically a movie about his life growing up in the Frieza force. Have the movie explore deeper into what his relationship was like with Nappa and Raditz, see him transform into a great ape for the first time and how he learned to master it, and maybe even have flashback sequences of his father and also his mother just to get more of an idea of what his relationship was like with them.
But if were gonna talk about the Saiyan Queen, I wanna share some of my headcanons I have on her!
First off, her name! In DB Super, before his daughter is born, we get a scene of Vegeta brainstorming baby names and he thinks of the name "Eschalot" (pun on the vegetable "shallot") and seems quite fond of it, saying its "not too bad" and says his daughter deserves a transitional Saiyan name. I like to think Eschalot was his mother's name.
Queen Eschalot, has a nice ring to it, huh? :D
So I'm going to refer to her as such for the rest of this post. Queen Eschalot and King Vegeta ruled Planet Vegeta together, both as strong warriors. Eschalot was known as being very calm and collective, strategic and a skilled fighter, and also a bit aloof at times as well. Rarely smiled, not that she was unhappy, but that she believes a Queen must always seem strong and never show weakness, and to her a smile was a weakness (basically always had a resting bitch face, one that Prince Vegeta inherited lol) and King Vegeta truly loved his wife. She was his world.
I shared another headcanon once where I said Saiyan women take initiative when it comes to dating/courting/finding a partner. So I imagine Eschalot, who was a high ranking warrior or a noble woman, saw King Vegeta, thought he was hot and walked right up to him. K!Vegeta is shocked this mysterious elegant woman just approached the newly crowned King of Saiyans without hesitation. "Do you have a Queen yet, your majesty?" she said, her voice calm, almost coming off as threatening. "N-No." the kind replies, overwhelmed by her beauty. "Well, you do now." she offers her hand, signaling for him to take it and he does.
Soon they were married, Eschalot became queen and eventually gave birth to the heir of the Saiyan throne, Prince Vegeta IV. Eschalot adored her first born son and P!Vegeta loved his mother, despite not seeing her as often as he wished (always on planet conquering missions since childhood, you know?). Then Eschalot was pregnant again and gave birth to Tarble, but unfortunately she didn't make it. Queen Eschalot died giving birth to the second Saiyan Prince. Heartbroken over the death of his wife, K!Vegeta had Tarble banished to a far off planet, blaming him for killing the Queen. When P!Vegeta asked why his brother was sent away, K!Vegeta lied and said it was because his brother had a low power level and P!Vegeta, believing his father, didn't question it. Tarble and Vegeta never knew the truth about what happened to their mother. Vegeta never even knew his mom died giving birth to his brother, believing his mom died along side the other Saiyans at the hands of Frieza (because again, Vegeta was always off planet so he wasn't there when his brother was born, mom died, etc.)
After all these years, Vegeta struggles to remember his mother and he deep down feels ashamed to have forgotten her. She died when he was so young and even during his youth he rarely saw her. All Vegeta remembers of his mother now is her name and the faint sound of her voice.
#I did not expect this to be as long as it is but I'm so happy I finally got to share this idea!!!#thank you for the ask!!#asks#answered#aulostheremin#FabTrash headcanons#dbz headcanon#dragon ball#dragon ball z#dragon ball super#dbz#dbs#vegeta#prince vegeta#tarble#prince tarble#king vegeta#vegeta's mother#dbz oc#FabTrash oc#oc: queen eschalot

Castlevania headcanons that I would accept:
•Richter and Annette are married (even if RoB says that she is Richter's fianceé, but then was unconformed by the timeline and not mentioned in SotN) and their children married local people (mostly are Romanians or maybe few others with Hungarian decent). It took like +150-ish years so Julius would have Romanian nationality.
•Julius has Romanian nationality, but was born outside of Romania (because at that time it was comunism in the country) and probabily lived in France (which is ironic since Leon was form Kingdom of France which is the modern teritory of France) because his father and his family ran form the regime.
•Alucard never wanted to be his father's successor. Sure, he is the Prince of the Night because he is Dracula's son, but he doesn't want power to dominate the world, just wants a normal life. Alucard would rather be disowed by his father and to keep his mother's promise then to join him and become his heir.
•Most of vampires outside of Dracula court would question his position as thier king, especialy some vampires that are older then him (I want to think that they have tradition that if you want to become a Vampire Lord, you must kill the predecesor and take the power.) And since some of then know Belmont Clan's journey and their origins, they would question Dracula's legitimacy as their king.
•Vampires have their own civilisation, but they rule in the shadows (and in the night time of course) and that they manipulate nobles to do their dirty work during the day (and they would be delighted if the ruler of the land is tyrant so the could control them)
•Walter was born as a cursed vampire and might worked harder to reach what he is as a Vampire Lord. Like Dracula's case, even Walter's legitimacy would be questioned but they will turn a blind eye for their unknown reason. Also, Walter might have a couple of bastard children, but he doesn't know that he has.
•Mathias posibily grew up in a messed-up household (if you think he has that twisted personality because he uses his best friend and everyone for his plans, then I bet that sadly he grew up in that family.) Mathias might took his personaliy after his father.
•Dracula prespresents the dualism of Mathias and Walter. Since they share everything (even Lisa, Alucard, Hector and Isaac). When Dracula goes insaine is because both Mathias and Walter go insaine. Dracula's revenge against humanity is a combunation between Mathias' rage and Walter's entertainment to toy humans.
•Elisabetha is angry at Mathias for what he had done. Imagine after 1999, Dracula is defeated and the first that both Mathias and Walter (since they form Dracula) see is Elisabetha's rage. Let's jusr say, Elisabetha argues with Mathias while Walter has to see delighted at the Cronqvists.
•Lisa doesn't knoe the reason behind her marriage with Dracula and he lies. Dracula covers his lies by telling to Lisa that he loves her because of her kind nature, her will and detenimation, when in reality he married her because it reminded her of Elisabetha.
•Shanoa is descendent of Hector and Julia (thinks to @beevean for this idea and the headcanon, even if it took me a while to accept it) and that's the reason why she could somehow to defeat Dracula: her powers aren't only with because she has Drac's powers, but she has also Hector's and Julia's powers as well)

HER STRUGGLES WITH BODILY AUTONOMY + HEADCANON ( incest mentions, and grooming mentions )
the first thing to remember about it is that so much of the trauma surrounding it originates when she's still a child, it stems during a particularly difficult period during her formative years that started when she was only eleven going on twelve - and in the aftermath of the firing of otto hightower as hand, it had the opposite effect that her father wanted, and only worsened the questions and the concerns about the setting aside of her younger half brothers. aegon, who was about two at the time, and aemond who was a newborn, and it seemed to worsen the frigidity of which she was greeted by her stepmother and only increased her feeling of isolation within the confines of her own family. she had her ladies, of course, she was close with her ladies, she considered them like sisters, but - she was also well aware that they were reliant on her, their positions were determined by her own, and so was their success at court, which meant that ? it just could not be the same as having family of which she could be close to, because their jobs and their positions had to come first - despite the fact they were all of the nobility, they were still of a lesser class then she was, meaning, they could lose more then she could if she messed something up. she was always in their company, she was always with them, because she loved them. and the ease of that wholly platonic connection was comforting.
she struggled extremely with impostor syndrome. she knew, logically, that her father had made his choice - and nothing could unmake that decision beyond him, and he did not seem like he had any plans to do that, and he had fired his closest advisor in defending his choice and that was ? it assured her, for the moment. but she was never wholly comforted by it because she could hear the questions, she could hear alicent asking the questions and she knew they were right to, she knew her position was one that was wholly unsual and wholly new, and there were so many people, asking the same exact thing that amounted to why haven't you replaced her yet, you should have replaced her. why fire otto when he's right. for a child that ? it feels like everyone is making their feelings known on how much she's worth and how much she could be capable of, and deeming that it just isn't enough to amount for that break in precedent, she just isn't enough to allow for the setting aside of her brothers. and she can't quit. she can't say she does not wanna do this anymore, because her father wants her to do it, her father chose her, and she still wants to do it, despite everything. for herself, for her mother who died in attempting to give her father an heir, her being named was such an impossibility that when she was, she had to hold onto it. she had to fight for it. but when you break down a child's self esteem over the years and play on that one inner insecurity that she's been grappling with her entire life ( the notion that though she's loved, and cherished, she's not a boy, so she's fundamentally useless to her parents, despite the fact she knows they love her. she's not a boy, she can't fullfil that role her father needs a boy for ) and you start fortifying what you believe she lacks before she can even display what she can do, it starts building the foundations of what becomes a reoccuring issue later in her life which is the fact that people build her identity, people build her reputation out of lies and explicit rumors because they want to believe it, even if they know it isn't true. because it becomes that much easier to diminish and disregard her entirely when you believe the stories about her.
if you believe she so easily and so willingly ruined herself for her own pleasure, and was so reckless as to all of that - then how could she ever possibly be a competent queen ? ( incredibly misogynistic and blatantly false rhetoric but it was the exact same thing that she was dealing with being levvied against her at 14 ) the additional sexual aspect of it all that comes into play post the tourney of 111AC makes the period of time all the worse, and it exacerbates rhaenyra's already high levels of anxiety. it's absolutely terrifying for her because she knows exactly what everyone believing that would result in. and no matter how many times she denies it, it takes form anyway. it takes shape anyway; the idea that she's in some way sullied herself with mushroom, with daemon. that she took lessons with daemon to try and seduce criston and make him break his vows. that she's willing to disregard his chastity oath and wants that to be sullied as well. and all of these stories of that period are presented as possible fact, which means that they were repeated and believed. which means it hung over her, the notion that she could have given a blow job to the court fool, and was willing to spend months attempting to ' learn ' to seduce a sworn brother of the kingsguard. we're told that when allegedly daemon and rhaenyra were found in bed, that rhaenyra pleaded with viserys she was in love with him, and wanted to marry him. we're also told that when viserys was confronted with the story of blackwater bay, he refused to believe any of it until daemon confirmed the tale was true. i'm inclined to believe, due to criston cole's remainder at her side, and the fact he was at her side day and night, that it was the latter that happened, and daemon confirmed a fake story, to get her hand in marriage by claiming he had ruined her. the near complete gut of her reactions from the recording of these events, and the fact the events are conflicting so much so - it gives the reader the feeling that any of them could potentially be possible, and that was the exact sort of criticism she was being met with in person.
and everyone had an opinion. they're USED to talking about this girl, they're used to critiquing this girl by now. and never to her face, but she still hears it, because it's everywhere. she's the heir, and she's female, so of course she is going to be a continuous topic of conversation - she told herself she was used to it by now. but it feels like there's this version of her that exists that they've built out of nothing and that is serving as their template for how they judge her from then on out. she feels like there's no real chance to build herself up outside of it because that's what some people hear first about her. she feels like she can't, that she isn't in control of herself, because she feels in some way that she is guilty of what they're accusing her of, because people believe it - because they want to believe it, she feels guilty, even if she didn't do anything. she feels like she is ruined already before she even got to explore sex. she feels so genuinely flayed open about the prospect of sex, and sexuality that it doesn't feel like when she finally explores it it'll be intimate at all. it feels like it won't remain private, and that it'll be another source of derision and scorn even though she is likely going to be married at the time, and that's what is supposed to happen with one's husband. she hated the idea of a bedding, she's always hated the idea of a bedding ceremony, like it made her feel sick to consider the idea of the wedding's male guests undressing her, and the idea her losing her virginity would be a source of entertainment and amusement.
she did not feel like she could enjoy sex at all, she didn't think she should find pleasure in it because then... wouldn't that prove them right about her ? wouldn't that mean she's as worthy of disregard as they made it seem ? she knows its natural, she know its supposed to be and that makes her feel so wrong inside. it makes that feeling of shame and fear feel so wrong to her, because it makes her feel like they've won something and they've succeeding in taking something from her, in making the concept something that she needs to approach clinically or she's somehow diminishing herself. and she doesn't want to feel like that, she doesn't want to stay feeling like that. but she has no idea on how to start to unpack it and its like ? it's a fear that ends up blending into her fear of childbirth because she reckons with that fear of sex, and that feeling that a lack of intimacy is inevitable with her relationship with harwin strong, who she ends up siring children with fairly quickly after they start sleeping together and it's - part of her fear of childbirth is the helplessness of it. the fact that she can't control the vitrol that would no doubt come if she had a daughter first, the fact she can't control what or how her baby would be treated if she died, that she can't help if she ends up losing one and that she would be expected to try again because she needs an heir. she can't be sure of her baby's survival, and her mother's consistent tragedies make her vehemently afraid that loss is inevitable even though she knows logically, that that isn't the case.
#HC //#all of it comes back to her feeling of being consistently out of control and not being able to regain control even of her own self because#the truth doesn't matter at court and only perception matters and the perception is against her from the jump#even as she gains allies and gains supporters there's a foundational basis for the wide spread criticism that she receives that stems from#time when she had very little true supporters#her feeling of not being in control of herself is something that she kind of self soothes with her love of fashion because at least then sh#can control how she presents physically and she can control the impression she gives in that sense and her habitual honesty and her tendenc#toward being honest mostly all of the time is ? because it helps soothe the part of herself that feels so mutable#that feels as if everyone can decide who she is but her and it doesn't matter who she actually is

Boromir headcanons
Just a list of thoughts:
**Spoiler Alert for Boromir Week 2025 as well as other AUs of mine where Boromir Lives**
As a child, he was very active and struggled to pay attention to things he had no interest in (i.e. his classes). He did not like being read to and would only listen to his mother's bedtime stories if she voiced the characters featured in said stories or added some extra tidbits and fun facts to get his attention. He loved climbing trees and pulling harmless pranks on servants—Finduilas often scolded him about it and he often cried out of embarrassment and shame afterwards.
He adored his mother and worshipped the ground she walked on. Her death hit him harder than he let on and, from that day forward, he always wore a tiny star-shaped brooch which had once belonged to her and which he never took off. Finduilas used to say it would be his lucky charm and I like to think that she survived (in my AU) because that brooch protected him (in a metaphorical way). He later gifted that brooch to his wife Idhrildin on their wedding day as a wedding gift.
Boromir and the concept marriage=> he does not really think about it and it is definitely not a priority of his. In TA 3002, Denethor is in talks with both Imrahil and his sister Darilla (OC) to try and arrange his eldest son's possible betrothal to either Lothíriel (who is three at the time) or Lindariel (another OC), Darilla's only daughter. His final choice falls on Lindariel since Imrahil backs out of the arrangement. While Boromir certainly does not hate his cousin Lindariel...he certainly does not want to marry him and she does not want to marry him either. They both think it is madness and that Denethor has lost his mind. They are betrothed for a long while, but the whole thing is eventually called off.
He first meets his future wife at Aragorn's coronation. Her name is Idhrildin and she is the niece of Forlong the Fat of Lossarnach, being the daughter of his sister. Forlong's sister (OC; I still need to come up with a name for her) married Idhrion of Anórien (OC), which makes Idhrildin the only living heir to Anórien. At the time of their first meeting she is 22 years old and, like many others in Gondor, she deeply admires the eldest son of Denethor. She has never spoken to him but, still, she deeply admires him. She also thinks he is very handsome.
He and Idhrildin marry in TA 3020 have four children: Findelis (born TA 3021), Findelidrin (FoA 10), Idhrilwen (FoA 12) and Berenor (FoA 17). His first two daughters are partly named after his mother, but only partly. That is because Finduilas to Boromir was one of a kind and no one will ever compare to her in his mind. This is also why he is extremely uncomfortable with the idea of his brother being married to someone who shares a name with his mother. While he has absolutely nothing against his new sister-in-law, he never calls her by her name and his creativity is put to the test as he struggles to come up with nicknames. Berenor, his only son, is partly named after Idhrildin's deceased older brother (his name was Berenion).
He's a very hands-on dad, but he also wants his children to listen to their mother as she is a literal angel and he wants them to be well-mannered and civil in public. Boromir is generally very impulsive and he often doesn't think before he acts while his wife is essentially the opposite. He really would like his children NOT to be impulsive as he was growing up and that is why he encourages them to spend time with their mother. He hopes that her politeness and gentleness will rub off on them. Findelis (nicknamed "Lis") is very restrained and polite when addressing others (she knows how to control herself), but is very outspoken and blunt whenever she's around family, close friends and people she trusts. She knows to handle herself and knows what to say and when to say it. Although she hates them, she would never be disrespectful to Eldarion, Ioreth, Híril (OC; one of Elenna "Enna"'s ladies-in-waiting when she's Crown Princess and a relative of Ioreth. She's very much like the elderly healer in personality and always chides Enna about things) and the ladies of the court. Yet, she loathes them and is disgusted by their demeanor. She's also very emotional and sensitive and often cries about the way Enna is treated. She feels that it is her duty to help, but also feels completely helpless. Findelidrin (nicknamed "Idy" by baby Berenor and it sticks) is the one, out of Boromir's girls, who takes the most after him both in looks and in personality. She also hates Eldarion, Ioreth etc., but is not nearly as diplomatic as her older sister. She does not see the point of it and thinks putting on an act takes way too much energy. I sort of came up with an idea for a scene where the Borodhril family is having dinner and Berenor talks about meeting Ioreth for the first time and Findelidrin is like "How is that old hag still alive?" Boromir does reprimand her but he has to smother his giggling. He's secretly very proud of her sassiness and deadpan humor. Idhrilwen is the daughter who is most like her mother and is a literal angel. She's sheltered and extremely naïve. She thinks everybody a good side and thinks that everybody acts on it because...that's what she does. She is the most religious out of the children and forgives everyone. It seems to be a common belief within the fandom that Boromir does not really care for the Valar or Eru and I personally agree with that take. He acknowledges their existence, but he certainly does not spend his time praying or stuff like that. He's far too practical for it. Idhrildin is the religious one, but even she has misgivings at times. She does a lot of charity for the poor and the sick and wishes Eru and the Valar were more helpful in that regard. She's like "If they're that powerful, why don't they heal the people who need it? Why would they sit idle while people suffer?" Even though she questions some things, she is religious and would like her children to learn more about Eru and the Valar so that they can have their own opinion. Boromir agrees and they both let the kids work out their beliefs on their own. Boromir grows to respect the Maiar later on (or at least some of them), but his general dismissal of the Valar turns to near hatred when the Elenwë children start dying and they do nothing about it. Idhrildin would have been utterly broken about it.
So, in the previous point I said "would have been" instead of "is". That is because Idhrildin dies in FoA 19. I have already talked a little bit about their girls, but I have not really said anything about Berenor. He's born in FoA 17 and the birth is a long and complicated one. Boromir was fine with his three girls and potentially done with having other children, but she still hoped for a son to secure the line—and she develops an infection which, although promptly treated, leaves her extremely weak. She has recurrent fevers and other pregnancy-related issues that will eventually lead to her death. Boromir is obviously devastated and focuses only on his children for a long while, disappearing from court—he had eventually accepted a place on the Council, which required him to be in Minas Tirith more often than he would have liked—and momentarily cutting off all his other family, except for sending out letters and funeral cards to let them know that Idhrildin has died. He only sends Aragorn a "congratulations note" when Meleril is born, but is basically locked up in whatever residence he is in—primarily Osgiliath, I think, since it's closer to Minas Tirith and he wants to oversee the work that is still being done—with his family. The funeral is a small thing with only relatives attending and Enna falls out with Lis on that occasion. She is attending the funeral with Elphirion (her husband at the time), toddler Nimloth and is pregnant with Anárion. In a genuine attempt to comfort her cousin—who took her mother's death much worse than her little siblings—she tells her something like "At least she had a good death. She died by doing her duty and that's the kind of death I wish for myself. She ensured her son lived and that's what good mothers do. Thankfully, she was way better a person than I." Obviously Enna here was referring to the Elendur accident, which still haunts her and will haunt her for the rest of her life, severely impacting her relationship with her other children. She tries to forget about it, she forbids everybody to speak of it and acts like he never existed, but guilt always finds its way back to her. That is where Finduilas comes in (nope, not her dead grandma. Finduilas—one of her names since she basically has none—is the personification of her conscience and the physical manifestation of her guilt. Basically a mental disorder. She will haunt Enna till the day she dies and Enna's efforts to get rid of her will result in several suicide attempts. after which Finduilas always comes back). Anyway, back to Idhrildin's funeral. Enna is sincere and she thinks of her words as a compliment to her late aunt, whom she had loved and respected very much. She does not mean to offend anyone, but Lis takes it the wrong way and goes like "Not everything is always about you," and very angrily tells her to shut up and further unloads on her saying that she's a horrible human who deserves everything that has ever happened to her. Enna is stunned and heartbroken, but puts on her usual poker face and abruptly leaves the service. Elphirion apologizes on her behalf, picks up the children and follows his wife. Both Lis and Enna feel respectively horrible about the things they said to each other and Lis does send her several apology letters Enna throws in the fireplace. She thinks that her cousin offended too deeply and does not deserve her forgiveness. She refuses to speak to her and even Boromir's pleas do not change her mind about it. She thinks of her cousin's words as a personal betrayal and Enna does not forgive those who betray her. She does not harm them, but simply they cease to exist in her eyes. The cousins, once extremely close, become estranged. Lis keeps up with Enna's life as best as she can and shows up at Enna and Eönwë's wedding hoping to patch up things with her. Spoiler alert: it does not happen and she eventually leaves deciding to forget about her.
She finds, however, that it is not easy and her heart breaks anytime she hears about it. She finds, however that it is not that easy and her heart breaks anytime she hears of a new tragedy befalling the Elenwë family. Careful not to be seen, she attends the funeral services for the Elenwë children and weeps for them even though she never even met them in person. She is extremely worried that Enna will end up like Idhrildin and begs Boromir to talk some sense into her. Boromir does so, knowing that Eönwë is as devastated and as worried about Enna as he is. Boromir and the Maia have become quite close over the years and Boromir is afraid that something might happen to him too. He knows that the Maia blames himself for Enna's plight—similarly to how Boromir blames himself for his wife's death—and is not wholly convinced Eönwë could survive her. He fears for their whole family and for their surviving children especially. He loves them all as their own and wants to protect them.
Out of the Elenwë children, he is closest to Boromir (and, nope, it is not because the kid is named after him) and Elarion. These two little ones are twins and are troublemakers. They remind Boromir of how he used to be as a child and he always offers to babysit them, no matter how much trouble they cause. His time with them is probably cause of some serious introspection and many "Was I truly like that as a child?" moments. He probably also mentally apologized to his mom about it.
He and Eönwë have several conversations about war, trauma and related things. They train together (more like, Eönwë gives him tips on how to improve his very good technique) and offers to train soldiers in his service.
Speaking of soldiers, Boromir has too has his own Company to protect him and to travel with. Aragorn has the Grey Company, Faramir the White Company and Boromir has his very own Silver Company. I picked the Silver color because of this description I found (it is from Canva): "The best way to achieve a silver tone is by creating multiple shades of gray through the mix of black and white. By combining multiple grays and adding a final dollop of white, this will create a silver gradient." As I already mentioned Gray is the color for Aragorn and White is the color for Faramir. I feel like gray is a color that fits Boromir—he is described by many as a gray character which kind of makes sense. He is ambiguous but also good and pure of heart, which is obviously represented by white elements. Silver is a form of elevated gray in a way and I feel like it fits Boromir as a character. And, of course, my decision was majorly influenced by this scene (one of my favorite Boromir scenes in FOTR)
This is why I feel like his personal guard being called the Silver Company just fits. Its symbol is of course a Silver Trumpet. I have not thought of the official symbols for the Grey and White companies yet, but I will make another post about them. Another symbol of the Silver Company is the Broken Horn of Gondor. The Silver Trumpet is basically the Horn of Gondor 2.0, but I think Boromir would want to remember how he escaped death. In my AU(s), the events of Fellowship of the Ring unfold exactly as they do in the books and Boromir is injured by arrows, but doesn't not die. I feel like the theme of his sacrifice is important in a sense that his willingness to die in an effort to protect the people he loves is important. But that does not mean he necessarily has to die. Eru forgives him anyway because the intention is there and his intention is what truly matters. The Horn of Gondor breaks because he could potentially die and it has the symbolic meaning of him letting go of the past and becoming, in his own view, a better person. Also he refuses the Stewardship so...I think it is appropriate.
The Silver Company is established when he is officially created Prince of Anórien and Lord of Osgiliath. Osgiliath is on the Anduin and, although it is never clearly stated where it is, it seems like it could be close. The One Wiki To Rule Them All website says, quote, "There were no cities in Anórien", but Osgiliath kind of looks like it could be? I am not an expert, but what is the point of a fief without cities? Osgiliath seems fairly close to the border...so, Lord of Osgiliath it is and I am done. He is lord of Osgiliath from TA 3019-onward and Prince of Anórien (formally) from TA 3021-onward. I briefly considered making him "Prince of Osgiliath and Lord of Anórien", but since Faramir is Lord of Emyn Arnen (the city) and Prince of Ithilien (the fief), I think it makes more sense for Boromir to be lord of a city (Osgiliath) and prince of a fief (Anórien). Elevating Idhrildin from Lady to Princess is a good way to help her claim what is rightfully hers. She still needs a son, but at least it is an improvement.
Ironically, his marriage to Idhrildin, although very much one of love, is also the perfect political match. He is created Prince on occasion of his first daughter's birth in TA 3021, but he joins the Council only in FoA 15 and does not participate in all the sessions. Enna's insistence is the main reason why he gives in. She's pregnant, young and alone and Boromir thinks that being a member of the King's Council might give him the opportunity to take care of her since it seems to him that no one else is doing it.
Gardening is one of his favorite hobbies. He also loves taking care of his dogs (he has had many throughout his life) and he loves to gifts his children puppies (or kittens. Animals. He loves animals)
He takes care of his nieces and nephews whenever Faramir and Finduilas are busy and thinks of the Elenwë children as his own grandchildren (Faramir can and should share his grandpa duties).
He cannot stand his uncle Imrahil (at least, my version of Imrahil). He has always found his uncle's obsession with his mother extremely creepy and he feels like he only loved an idealized version of her that never existed (as most people in Gondor did). He was always deeply uncomfortable with the whole sanctification of his mother and is very protective of her memory as a result. He and Imrahil often quarrel about it and Imrahil insists he knows better because "You were only a boy of ten when she died and never knew her." He fully cuts contact with his uncle after he kicks a pregnant Enna out of his palace. For context: in FoA 15, Enna pays Boromir and Idhrildin a visit and stays at their place for a few weeks. She's pregnant and Boromir immediately notices how in pain and sick she is. He takes matters into her own hands and has eat like a normal person and lets her sleep and rest. She stays there for a few weeks—possibly even a month or two; I am sure Eldarion doesn't mind—until she has to go back to Minas Tirith to start her confinement. Before she does so, Enna wants to visit Imrahil. He loses his wife that year (I still don't know when exactly), but by that time he is already a widower and Enna wants to make sure he's alright. So she visits him and he's shocked to see she's gained weight and let herself go (his words not mine). He tells her that his sister would've never done anything of the sort and that he is disappointed in her. Enna apologizes and tries to comfort him, but the minute she mentions his dead wife, Imrahil loses it and has her thrown out of his palace (note that he is technically not even allowed to do it, since Enna outranks him, but...yeah, that's what happens). Enna, Maira (her maid/best friend) and the rest of her staff are reduced to sleeping on the beach with no bedsheets or anything to warm up. They could turn back right away but the horses need rest too and Enna is so distressed she can't even move. Maira tries to get her to sleep a bit, but she's too nervous and can't stop thinking. They turn back the following morning and Enna yells that she wants her uncle and wants to return to Osgiliath (aw 😭). So that's what happens and Enna just runs (or tries to, as she is seven months along by then) to him and just hugs him. Boromir is stunned, surprised, worried and she very reluctantly tells him what happened. The rage Boromir feels is...quite something. He immediately writes to Aragorn AND Faramir (Enna does not really want her dad to know about it, but Boromir just ignores her because Imrahil crossed the line and Faramir needs to know) and...let's just say Aragorn doesn't take it very well. But it is a tale for another post. The most important thing to know about this is that Boromir feels extremely guilty for not protecting his niece enough and curses the whole of Minas Tirith for letting this happen. He's also one of the first people to comfort her when the child dies and acts as her therapist for a while.
Now, if you have been keeping up with my writing and my OCs, you probably know that Enna was adopted by Faramir and Éowyn when she was a newborn. Boromir obviously knows about it and, while he has always been tempted to tell her the truth, he has always refrained from doing so because he was worried about how he might affect her. He did not really know her parents all that well (since I have changed my mind about Elegil and Elanel attending the coronation, they might have bumped into one another and said a few words to each other, but I do not think they were knew one another well or were even friends. They could have easily been as I headcanon Boromir and Elegil to be similar, but Elegil just wanted to go home, so a friendship would have very unlikely to blossom. However, I do plan to include a conversation between the two of them and it will probably go like this:
(E=> Elegil; B=> Boromir)
E=> "Are you married, my lord?"
B=> "I was never interested in marriage."
E=> "I was not either...until I met my wife. We have a little boy, he is one."
*Proceeds to ramble about his little boy for AGES*
Mind you, Boromir adores children and loves talking about them, but I suspect he even he might leave at some point. Elegil just does not ever stop talking about his family. He talks about it so much it gets very annoying after a while. He's the kind of the guy who keeps quiet on most things (he's definitely a man of action), but he just unloads whenever his family is mentioned. He loves them VERY MUCH and I think Boromir would relate. Elegil's mother dies a few weeks after Aragorn's coronation—she dies in Minas Tirith—and he returns North with his elderly father, his wife and baby Elerion. Elegil returns South for the last time in TA 3021 and he might meet Boromir again, but I am not exactly sure. By then, Boromir and Idhrildin are in Anórien and Elegil has no reason to go there. He might just drop by and say hi, but we will have to see.
When Enna eventually learns the truth, Boromir is yet again by her side, but she feels like he betrayed her and stops talking to him. She sort of cuts ties with most of her family members as a result of trauma and self-perceived unworthiness. She hates everyone but, most of all, she hates herself. She feels like she everything she was ever told was a lie and develops even more trusts issues. Boromir understands that he needs to give her space and fully entrusts her to Eönwë since he is the only person she relies on and trusts at this point.
As expected, he also comforts his little brother during this time. Although Faramir is a bit more useless than you might expect, that is because he never was told anything. Éowyn dies in FoA 11 while giving birth to Elboron and her death breaks him. He is not there with her when she dies and he blames himself for it. He is forever changed by it and loses much of his will to live and personality. He remarries in FoA 16 roughly three weeks before Enna marries Eldarion and, while he grows to respect and love his new wife (Finduilas), he will never love anyone as much as he loved Éowyn. Finduilas is also struggling to cope with a loss of her own, as she is still in love with Aranarth (=Aragorn's nephew, the son of his youngest sister. He dies on a riding accident in FoA 1 at 15. Finduilas and Aranarth were the same age and she is twenty-five years younger than Faramir. Their marriage is arranged by Enna with Aragorn's approval and her intention is to give Elboron a mother figure). Faramir is essentially trapped in a marriage he does not care for—he only marries Finduilas because Enna asks it of him—and spends most of time away from court...where his daughter is. They communicate through letters and Enna lies to him repeatedly saying how happy she is and how well Eldarion treats her. Faramir believes her—he has no reason to doubt her as she has always told the truth before—and since he hears no complaints she convinces himself Enna is happy and that Aragorn and the Royal Family will look after her. When he eventually learns of the abuse Enna suffered, he gets mad at Aragorn, but, most of all, he is mad at himself and shies away from even further from his fatherly duties because he is afraid of messing things up even more. He essentially entrusts Enna to his brother.
Boromir also is the one who convinces Faramir to let Enna marry Eönwë. While Faramir initially worships the ground Eönwë walks on, he starts to resent him when he and Gandalf leave for their "Middle-earth tour" in late FoA 15. Eönwë needs a Middle-earth update (he still slips and calls it Beleriand sometimes) and he wants Enna to forget about him. Enna has always been fascinated by the Maiar and has had a childish crush on him ever since. Even when she was five and learning about him with her tutor, she thought of him as her Prince Charming. Eönwë feels very uncomfortable with it and that is also one of the reasons why he suddenly leaves. Faramir hates him for that—he could have protected her, but he did not—and holds it against him. So when Eönwë and Enna fall in love and Eönwë wants to marry her (it will take a while for him to get to that point) Faramir very angrily refuses. He even insults poor Bird-boy so...it is safe to say he is not a fan. Boromir will have a talk with them both, but I do not Faramir will be on good terms with Eönwë ever again until a few months before Eönwë dies.
I headcanon Boromir to be one of those extremely emotional people who just weep for hours on end at funerals and I think he will be devastated when Eönwë dies. He will be glad that he is reunited with Enna, but he will be heartbroken and he will be completely shattered when Mírion lets himself go three years later. For reference, Eönwë dies on November 9, FoA 43 and Mírion dies on October 16, FoA 46. Less than three years later. Boromir wept for all the Elenwë children equally, but I think his namesake's and Mírion's deaths will affect him the most. I think that, little by little, he loses his will to leave. By then, Idhrildin has been dead for decades, his children are now grown (I do not know if they marry. Berenor probably will, but I do not know about the sisters), Mairon is defeated...I feel like he will have nothing left to fight for.
I think he'll die sometime about FoA 53 or something like that. Since the rewrite ends in FoA 47, his death will not be featured in the main story, but I will probably write a One-shot about it. The death date is February, 26 (canonical death date). I do not even know what causes his death yet, but I think he will be in his 90s by then so...old age? Heartbreak due to all the losses he suffered? A mix of both perhaps?
PS:
About the Lossarnach issue. Idhrildin's uncle, Forlong, is lord of Lossarnach, but he dies childless during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. As he has no children and Idhrildin has no brothers (Berenion is already dead by then), she is technically—not officially, but technically—heir to Lossarnach. Sort of. This is actually very relevant and will be cause of drama since Aragorn plans to marry off his eldest daughter (Gilraen, named after her paternal grandmother) to Eldarion's tutor and wants to give the guy a fief. Daerion, that is his name, was Denethor's ward and probably a major Boromir fan because of it. Daerion is basically lord just in name since he has no wealth of his own—he was never wealthy—and is only relevant because he is the Crown Prince's tutor. At least, at the very beginning. He is a major schemer who knows how lie and plays others like a fiddle. That is his greatest ability and uses it to his full advantage. He takes care of Eldarion in more ways than one and, as reward for his "loyalty", he is betrothed to Gilraen, who is to become Lady of Lossarnach by marriage. The marriage does not come to pass for a number of reasons (one of them being Daerion's execution) and Gilraen marries Elerion, Enna's brother and future Lord of Fornost Erain. As a result, there is virtually no one ruling Lossarnach. Maybe Berenor will also be Lord (or Prince) of Lossarnach eventually? While it would be a good idea, I am not sure whether a single person could rule over two fiefs. Too much responsibility.
*Checks for other canon characters who are still alive and that could be friendly with Borodhril, so that there is no animosity. Someone Idhrildin trusts. And someone for Anfalas as well*
Additional headcanons if Idhrildin lives:

HeadCanon: Why the Star Locket was Important in more ways than claimed
Kinda-sorta reposting this from discord. I'm of the opinion that the Star Locket/Watch Ren gave Dymi in the SilMil was more important in canon than previously thought because of the status of the Shitennou.
The Shitennou.
The men who were Dymi's Guardians and watched him grow up for most of his life, if not from birth, just as the Inners were Ren's. Or at least, that's the HC. Why the hell would they betray their Liege, or even want to fight against, the man whom they've supposed to have loyally dedicated their lives to for Beryl's doctrine of killing those of the Silver Alliance? How could they have succumbed to Beryl's/Metallia's brainwashing or mental gaslighting/coercion if they loved him (Or their Senshi Lovers) in truth? Because I absolutely refuse to believe they didn't, that it might've all been an act. To have such positions, especially with the GC and Elysian's Head Priest in play, couldn't have worked if they were against their own Liege-to-be from the start, or that their positions were given or "earned" due to political or other such reasons; leaving them with the mentality of 'for their lands' greater good over the others' when it would've been best to have those who wanted everyone to live prosperous lives. They could've been corrupted later though, as evidenced.
In regards to Sen/Shi, because there are some people who don't like such 'forced' pairings for some reason, even though that's how they were originally paired by Naoko before the idiots who were in charge of the anime changed it (most likely without her permission or asking for insider knowledge! It might've been a whole new ballpark otherwise.) one could say that Beryl's plans included the Senshi being caught off guard or other such spy/espionage/psychological warfare tactics. That, depending on how fast Beryl/Metallia worked once Ren came into the pic, unless she'd already been working on them before Ren appeared and started 'ruining her plans', it wouldn't be too strange if that was one of the reasons Sen/Shi came about in the first place. But then, there's the Senshi themselves. I highly doubt that any of them (One's power being Love of all things, another suppressing her emotions as much as possible in favor of logical thinking, the third being able to sense Evil and Dark Intentions and the last being protective and stubborn for it; though one could say she'd be the 'easiest' as a result) could've been fooled by smoke and mirrors and lies. So, no, I'm of the firm opinion that they were fully corrupted/brainwashed after they'd fallen for their Lady Loves. And that's if those who fought against them weren't clones or coincidental look-a-likes as a certain HC going around says might've actually happened.
I rec Jecir over on FFN to get a taste of how such a HC goes; there's four in the series with a technical fifth that's an AU role reversal.
All that aside, I believe the reason why Dymi/Mamo was spared; at least until a certain point is 'obvious'. And, no, it's not due to the Kinzuishou because he'd have never been able to be brainwashed later if that was the case. Even despite its dormancy.
It's the Locket/Watch.
Like, think about it people!
The reason Dymi wasn't affected by Beryl/Metallia isn't because he was the Crystal Holder or the Heir to the Planet's Throne (his parents, if alive, shouldn't have been affected if that was true; at least, not the parent who would pass said throne to him as their blood legacy) but is because of the Star Locket given to him by Ren! It kept him from being corrupted or brainwashed while his Shitennou and people and whatever living family he had was. And when he was Mamo, since he had it for as long as he could remember, it kept him from being found and brainwashed as his Shitennou were again. Like, do you really think Beryl hadn't already been looking as frantically as possible to find him before Ren did and 'put him under her spell'? Especially when the moment she realized who Zoi was fighting she called him off. Killed him when TK was brought to her injured because of Zoi attempting to kill SM and TK saving her. She probably only stopped looking in the first because she was of the opinion the Boys, being four instead of her alone and able to leave and cover more ground, would've recognized him while energy gathering. And it was Usa who had it when he was taken and brainwashed. Not to mention, the whole... Thing where it was due to said Locket, despite the Wand failing even though it had worked before, that he was able to return to his true self during the Season Finale!
If anything, it's because of the Locket that Dymi was able to take over and transform them in the first place. It anchored him, like Moon's brooch. At least until Mamo became aware he was TK with the Nijizuishou he got hold of and the duality became sorta one person. Because TK still couldn't say why he came into existence just because SM specifically was in danger.
Anyway! I'm of the HC that the Locket, since she was of the Moon and the SilMil as a generality seemed more of a Matriarchy than Earth, was meant to be a proposal item in place of Earth's Ring and she asked while giving it to him with mandatory Blessings of Protection and Clarity of Mind. But while Dymi might've been all sorts of happy and touched that he was the one being proposed to, he might've been embarrassed too. 'The women were allowed to do that?!' type of mentality. And with that, after having explained to his Lady-Love why he was embarrassed despite accepting her suit, leaving her embarrassed in turn, maybe even mortified, for having assumed his marriage traditions were the same as what she grew up with, they each could've gone to their respective Guardian groups and explained the 'ruined' but still accepted proposal.
"On Earth, only the men are allowed to propose?!", is the shock for the Senshi. Because Ren, not only heiress to a smaller home-world with a smaller population, but also heiress to a vaster alliance kingdom and would-be leader of other leaders, would've been considered of higher status if not rank; that's why she proposed without thought to what might be different on Earth. "For members of the Silver Alliance, the one with higher rank or status is supposed to propose?!" is the shock for the Shitennou. Because being Shitennou was a title, so even though they're called Kings, they weren't by blood and with the Senshi being blood-born Princesses of their respective Planet and thus of actual higher status and rank... well, misunderstandings abound due to wanting to respect one another's marriage traditions.
Like, the different Planets of the Alliance might have different expectations or practices or activities to the others that might not jive well with each other so some things had to be finagled so it'd work for any interplanetary relations. I.E: something most cherished that can be worn or kept on ones' person is given by the proposer while the proposed reciprocates with something meaningful, it doesn't have to be cherished, which can be bought or already in their possession, that can be worn or kept on their person in turn. Just as an example.
So! There the Shitennou are wondering what the 'thing most cherished' will be to accept from their Lady Senshi (because they'd consider themselves as guests of the Alliance, if not their own form of Ambassadors, who'd be giddy to experience how things, proposal most especially, was done off Earth) and trying to think of what to give in turn (I thought V would give her hair ribbon so he could use it as a cravat or tie or whatever and she'd give a hint of maybe getting one back that matches his hair color. J would give her earrings, once enlarged by magic, to be used as cuff-links or her rose belt to let him use for himself, not sure what she'd expect back or what the other two would propose with). And all the while the Senshi are wondering when they'll be given a ring (because it'd be rude to make the new member of the Alliance conform to their standards and rules so soon after joining) and wondering what it'll look like or how the proposal itself might go.
As such, while Dymi has the Locket from his Love to protect him from Beryl and Metallia, to which followed him into his next life (however it did that) to continue its purpose before he unintentionally lost it because he let SM keep it since he didn't remember its significance when she attempted to return it, his own protectors didn't have any such protection of their own from their Loves because misunderstandings, assumptions, dream-like expectations and non-communication kept them from being received.
How that for a HC? What do you think of it? Does it make sense?

BEANS HEAR ME ON THIS ROYALTY AU OF MILGRAM MIXED WITH MODERN TIMES AND MAGIC
I AM HEARING YOU OUT OOOHHH! Thank you, this is so interesting 👀 My brain kept getting tripped up with the worldbuilding, so I stuck with individual character headcanons -- I bet they'd have some really interesting dynamics with one another though... I wasn’t sure if this was based off a specific/preestablished au, so I kept the powers vague, but still had some pretty clear thoughts on how they’d use them! (I also added brief comments on the murders if those were included >:3)
Haruka: Sheltered most of his life. Maybe he wasn’t originally in line for the throne, so even his own family didn’t pay the proper attention to him. Then family situations changed, forcing him into the spotlight. He’s more scared of the damage his powers could do, so he doesn’t use them. This results in a Frozen-style bottling up and refusal to actually learn about them out of fear, and they come out in dangerous, emotional outbursts instead. (Under so much social pressure, those emotions often come out at people close to him.)
Yuno: Inherited power at a young age but is continuously treated like a child. At first she leans into her bubbly, girlish act, getting a lot of popularity with people and other politicians. Unfortunately, the reputation sticks too much and she’s rarely taken seriously when needed. Though she’s pressured to make tough calls, she’s simultaneously babied by her advisors/counsel. (And, her getting pregnant with anyone’s child outside of marriage would cause a massive scandal.) She handles her powers confidently – mostly for silly shows of magic, only rarely using it as a threat or show of force.
Fuuta: With an older sister, he’s not heir to any real power, nor can he stand the feeling of the public’s eye looking to him, but he’s still involved with politics and official events. It’s interesting for him and Kotoko to have characters so centered on the corruption of higher-ups, now the higher-ups themselves… His brash attitude has forced a PR team to manage all his social media, so he keeps secret accounts/aliases where he posts what he wants without it coming back to bite his public image. (His murder would be from one of these accounts, since they’re a true reflection of him hiding behind anonymity). He’s all bark and no bite when it comes to his powers, always showing off and making threats, but never actually doing much damage with them.
Muu: Well, I guess we already know she’s suited to being queen. As the only child to two well-loved rulers, she’s automatically adored by the public. This causes tension between her and any other politician children, resulting in cycles of bullying undetected by the public so no party’s reputation is affected. (Eventually, though, Rei threatens to go public with something, or maybe already has, and plunges Muu into worse social backlash than usual.) She’s the type to be extra careful about her powers – learning and practicing and testing nonstop, but hesitant to use them for real-world applications for fear of not being perfect.
Shidou: A confident and well-liked ruler. He's known for his calm presence at speeches, negotiations, and events. Unfortunately, he’s very dedicated to his mindset of the means justifying the ends, and has a few shady methods of keeping his people happy and his enemies out of the way. (His murder could range from very similar to the accident in canon, to amping up the drama with royal assassinations by someone who uncovered some of his lies…) He’s very skilled with his powers, using them for politics and entertaining his kids alike. He’s excited to teach them how to use their own, as they get older.
Mahiru: A bit sheltered by the time she inherits power, but ready to take on her responsibilities with open arms. She’s well liked, if not always taken seriously because of her cheery attitude. She falls in love with an ordinary man, dragging him into her overwhelming world of royalty and politics. She’s just excited to have someone to share it with. (He knows he’d be harassed by the public for the rest of his life if he broke their ruler’s heart, so he seeks out another way to escape the crazy lifestyle.) She’s excited to use her powers, though she seems the type to be harmlessly clumsy with them sometimes. If powers are a common part of this world, she's studied up on all the helpful ways to use them.
Kazui: A quiet but successful ruler for many years. From the outside, his marriage wasn’t an arranged one, but internally he knew it was driven by politics and advantages. (He avoids telling Hinako until the truth comes out all at once.) He’s easygoing and prefers not to make too many public appearances, but is very good at it when he does – he comes off reassuring and powerful. Although everyone is very satisfied with his rule, he has a lot of insecurities that his age is making him out of touch with his people, and that they don’t have an heir to follow him. He rarely shows off his powers, choosing to use them expertly, only when necessary.
Amane: She feels the weight of responsibility as an only child to two very powerful rulers, trying to learn everything she can about keeping a nation in order. Her parents tell her how she is above everyone else and destined for perfection. Though Amane always retains a good heart towards others, this treatment does isolate her from her peers. She’s still getting a hang of her powers, sometimes overextending herself to make a good impression on her parents/the public. (No one would dare challenge the intimidating rulers about their strict treatment of their daughter, but that also means it’s possible for a fatal “accident” during training with her powers to be kept quiet by the public.)
Mikoto: He takes his duties seriously, but to the point of overwork. Though he could pass some responsibilities on to his younger sister, he chooses to take on all lawmaking, meetings, correspondence, travel, negotiations, speeches, events, etc himself and let her live free from the royal pressures. Unfortunately, with modern standards, the discovery of his DID would probably be treated as a scandal and kept hidden from the public. Thinking Mikoto wouldn’t want to hide it, his advisors decide to keep the knowledge from him as well. (In his frustration with Mikoto’s overwork and everyone’s treatment of him, John needs to find an outlet for his anger.) Mikoto struggles a lot with his magic, but doesn’t find much need for them in his day-to-day affairs. The most telling sign that John is fronting is the shift in raw power that he displays, not having the training or desire to repress it.
Kotoko: Not originally an heir, but inherited power indirectly – there was no foul play, but she did play an active role in gaining her new title. The previous rulers were very corrupt, so she wastes no time taking over their policies and systems to improve things. For better and worse, she usually sticks with a hands-on approach to all of her nation’s problems. She’s very open about her powers, citing them as something stable and strong that her people can rely on for protection. (Despite her training, though, they can still get out of control when her emotions are running too high.)
Es: Takes their responsibilities extremely seriously. Despite their people's doubts about them due to their age, Es becomes well loved for their complete dedication to their duty and attention toward everyone under their care. They do worry sometimes that they've built up too big of a royal court, having too many voices/opinions in their ear all the time. They use their powers sparingly, though they aren't afraid to give a show of force when deemed necessary.

If Choices existed in the Choices universe(s), here's what my MCs' favorite and least favorite titles would be
Tagging: @lover-also-fighter-also
Excluding the MC's own books/series because that would just be a paradox.
Evie Ayana (OG HSS)
Evie is basically my ultimate creator-insert character. So my favorites (It Lives Series, Endless Summer, The Heist: Monaco) would be her favorites, and my least favorites (Surrender, First Comes Love, The Billionaire's Baby, Untameable) would be her least favorites. And for all the same reasons as I have.
Like me, she would love the stories where the MCs are flexible in their character and the Choices actually influence the story, and would adore making her own MCs and building their characters. It's partly motivated by having an intense creative writing passion.
Evie would also greatly enjoy The Phantom Agent; I already do, but she'd like it even more I thnk. She loves her little wlm James Bond adventure.
Alan Parke (OG HSS)
Alan would definitely love the romance and steamy ones. But his all-time favorites would probably be Queen B and Dirty Little Secrets. The MCs and stories are perfect for his mega-diva personality. Granted I haven't played QB yet, but I just know he'd get so immersed in the whole vibes of it. Though he'd also hate that it's genderlocked and would headcanon his MC as a guy.
I think he'd also be a big fan of Hot Couture for the outfits. But of course, would hate that the MC is genderlocked and headcanon it's a guy MC wearing all those outfits.
Not sure what Alan's least favorites would be, but I think he'd definitely dislike First Comes Love and The Billionaire's Baby. In QB, he'd find it fun to be a total bitch because it's a story that actively leans into absurdism and embraces the trashiness. But it's not as fun in FCL or TBB because they take themselves too seriously. Instead he just goes "I can sometimes forgo morals for my own needs, but Jesus I'd never stoop THAT low".
Samara Al Hakim (OG HSS)
Samara would probably like Mother Of The Year because MC is the mom she never got to have. Instead she had to go through a mom who was incompatible with her dad, and then a step-mom who was borderline abusive. So MOTY is very escapist and cathartic for her. For similar reasons, she also finds comfort in any story about MC being a (good) parent, like The Royal Heir and Baby Bump.
In MOTY, she especially adores MC x Thomas, she loves Thomas as a parent figure and wishes her own parents’ relationship had been more like that. At the same time though, Guy Ledford would be very triggering for her.
Samara would despise Surrender even more than Evie does. Evie (like me) would have been sent into a very distressing rant rage from the story, but Samara would take it to physical levels. She would be so furious about how it handles abusive relationships that she'd outright hurl her phone at the wall and have to get both the phone and the wall repaired.
Samara would also get frustrated with The Billionaire’s Baby, the one exception to her love for the parenthood stories. This should be the kind of book she likes, but she can’t stand the MC and LI. But then the baby gets born and it has cute moments and so she melts down into confusion.
Cher Lee (HSS:CA)
Cher would love Hot Couture because she's a fashion geek. Most of the outfits wouldn’t be her taste, but she'd still enjoy the whole thing with designing and modeling for fancy outfits. She would also love all the historical/regency books like Desire and Decorum, The Royal Masquerade, The Unexpected Heiress, and The Duchess Affair because she's a ho for regency stuff too.
I'm not sure what Cher's least fav would be... maybe My Two First Loves? She wants to like it because she knows what it’s like to feel like she has everything figured out except not really, but the story is just a wishy-washy mess to her.
Jordan Price (HSS Prime)
I can probably see Jordan enjoying Laws of Attraction, especially Book 2. I think she'd also enjoy #LoveHacks, especially Book 2. Not really a surprise that she especially likes the parts of the stories where MC and friends leave the problem-riddled main institution and start up their own new space with the goal of providing better quality and better treatment of others that the main one couldn't.
Her least favorite would probably be Surrender. She'd just get so frustrated how MC stays with Reagan, even after their big break-up in Book 2.
Jo Hunter (ILITW)
Jo would have a love-hate relationship with Endless Summer. The exciting adventure combined with the strong group friendship themes would really speak to her. But the twist reveal at the end of Book 2, and having to choose between the endings, would break her.
Least favorite would probably be Wolf Bride. Bastien skeeves her out too much.
Harper Addison Vance-Fisher (ILB)
Harper would probably enjoy Platinum and Along Came Treble, as they themselves are a guitarist. I can also see both of the High School Story trilogies being a sort of favorite guilty pleasure of hers because of how chill they are, and she likes how sweet the Class Act MC is.
Her least favorite would probably be My Two First Loves. It's just a mess, and as someone who had periods of figuring out they were a demigirl and bi-curious, she'd probably think that the way the story handles its queer themes was very disappointing and half-assed.
Cedric Zhao (ILW)
IDK why, but I feel like the OG High School Story trilogy would be his favorite, and that he also played the original HSS Prime mobile game a bit when he was younger. They're both very escapist for him, and he loves creating multiple characters for both of those.
Not sure what his least favorite would be. Probably The Billionaire's Baby or Untameable, I think he'd be ungodly bored by them.
Dick Ryder (DLS)
Dick would have a love-hate relationship with a lot of the smut books. Love because he loves smut and he enjoys the mlw versions of the dynamics. Hate because the smut scenes are all guy-penetrating-gal which has become a legitimate trigger for him. Though he would like more MCs that aren't pushovers. I'm not fully sure about his favorite, but I think he might quite enjoy Alpha.
Aside from that, I think he'd also enjoy High School Story: Class Act, Red Carpet Diaries, and Guarded, because he himself is big into acting. He was a theatre kid during all of his school years, pursued an acting career after that, and wants to keep that up.
For his least favorite... I feel like he'd be very frustrated with Surrender. He wants to like it because kinky BDSM, but he can't get past MC being defaulted to sub in the first book and the resolution to the second book.
Adelaide Zhou (ROD)
Any book where MC gets to be proactive, a leader, and/or a badass is a favorite. So, OG High School Story trilogy, both of the It Lives books, Endless Summer, The Heist: Monaco, The Phantom Agent, Murder At Homecoming, Crimes Of Passion, Acrosss The Void, among many.
Least favorite would be Surrender, Wolf Bride, Roommates With Benefits, any book where the LI or other characters are incredibly patronizing to the MC.
