Queen Victoria’s Descendants (updated 2023)
If you see any mistakes or can offer info on something like “Child 1” or an unknown birth or death year, please let me know. The only non-living descendants I kept on this list were her children
Key
Bold names=Queen Victoria’s children
* Descendants are already listed elsewhere on this list or the ones who would follow said person Examples:  Mark Nicholas van Eyck should be followed by  Princess Dorothea of Hesse but she and her descendants are also descended elsewhere. Another examples are Queen Elizabeth II & The Duke of Edinburgh’s descendants and the descendants of Princess Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg und Gotha and   Prince Gustaf Adolf, Duke of Västerbotten
** I’ve seen reports that she died in 2002, but no obituary. Any ideas?
Bold and Italics together on one name denotes this person is presently one of the 10 eldest lived persons of Queen Victoria (
Bold, Italics and underline on one name (Lady Pamela Hicks) denotes the current eldest living descendant of Queen Victoria

On December 10, 2010, papal decrees recognized the martyrdom of German Father Alois Andritzki killed in the Nazi Dachau concentration camp in 1943. The beatification took place on June 13, 2011, in Dresden. Alois Andritzki (1914-1943) was a young Sorbian chaplain who died as the result of the brutal treatment that many priests received in Dachau concentration camp. Lethal injection was most likely the cause of his death. During that time, Andritzki was in agony having contracted typhus in Dachau. For the concentration camp’s administration, he was just a worrisome trouble and a burden to be eliminated. Alois Andritzki was the first Sorbian – and another Schoenstatt priest – beatified. He was born in Radibor-Silesia the fourth among six brothers. His two older brothers were also priests. He was detained and taken prisoner to the concentration camp because of his “seditious activities” mainly embodied within the youth against the Nazi regimen. According to historic records, Alois was a very joyful, vital priest, a worker, and an acrobat. In prison, he entertained his companions with his acrobatic skills, especially with his ability to walk on his hands, and so he was the eccentric figure who entertained those who lived in what was commonly known the hell of Dachau. (P. Sales Hess, págs. 123; 201, KZ Dachau- eine Welt ohne Gott). He entered the concentration camp on October 2, 1941, after having been detained by the Nazi police on two occasions making him a “dangerous person” for the Hitler regime and followers. In the concentration camp, he joined one of the Schoenstatt groups led by two Schoenstatt priests, Fathers Joseph Fischer and Heinz Dresbach. A short time later, five months afterwards, Father Joseph Kentenich entered Dachau accused of the same offenses. https://www.instagram.com/p/CoNHSUBrqJR/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Yes I DID. History shows that prior to WWII in the 1930's, there was an American Nazi party that used to hold rallies in New York City. They were known as "The German American Bund" "In May 1933, Nazi Deputy Führer Rudolf Hess gave German immigrant and German Nazi Party member Heinz Spanknöbel authority to form an American Nazi organization." Although they obviously went silent by 1942, when the US declared war on Japan and Germany, there were segments of the American population that still believed Hitler knew what he was doing. That fascist ideology was adopted by white nationalist groups and even some Christian Evangelical organizations that championed the overthrow of the US Govt to stop "communism & socialism" from "poisoning the youth of America". The John Birch Society is one of many that espoused this Christian-Fascist ideology. It grew by leaps & bounds in the 1960's. And that's why it's so pronounced in this century.

Hermann Hesse: ČESTO JE ŽIVOT
Fotografija Heinz Hakek – Halke. . Znam da mnogo ljudi ima Koji lutaju i patnju nose, Ja sve duše njihove primam Kao braću i dobrodošle. . Oslonjeni na mokre…

His father was originally from Kallstadt (then part of the Bavarian Rhenish Palatinate, now part of Rhineland-Palatinate). His mother Anna was from Haunetal, Hesse-Kassel, and they met in Pittsburgh.

German American Bund rally at Madison Square Garden (New York City, February 1939).
In 1933, Rudolf Hess gave Heinz Spanknöbel, a German-American immigrant and German Nazi Party member, the authority to form an American Nazi organization.  With help from the NYC German consul, Spanknöbel merged the Gauleitung-USA and Free Society of Teutonia to form the Friends of New Germany.  This organization was based in New York, but also had a strong presence in Chicago.
The FONG made verbal attacks against Jewish people, Communists and the Treaty of Versailles.  Although the Nazi Party supported them at first, they soon realized that it was doing more harm than good in America.  In December 1935, Hess ordered all German citizens to leave the FONG, and all its leaders were recalled to Germany.
In 1936, the German American Bund was formed in its place.  Its name was chosen to emphasize its American-ness, and only American citizens of German descent were allowed to join, as the press had criticized them for being unpatriotic.
The main purpose of the German American Bund was to promote a positive view of Nazi Germany.  The organization expressed admiration for Hitler, demanded that America remain neutral in the approaching European conflict, and were strongly antisemitic and anti-Communist.
Fritz Julius Kuhn, a German-born American citizen, was elected as Bundesführer.  Kuhn had fought in the Bavarian infantry during WW1, and was an Alter Kämpfer (“old fighter”) of the Nazi Party.  He was an effective leader, able to unite the organization and increase membership.
Their biggest rally was held in February 1939 in Madison Square Gardens, with a crowd of over 20,000.  Flanked by swastikas, American flags and a portrait of George Washington, Kuhn attacked President Franklin D. Roosevelt for being part of a “Bolshevik-Jewish conspiracy”.  He called his New Deal the “Jew Deal”.
Fistfights broke out in the crowd among those who had come to heckle Kuhn.  3,000 members of the Ordnungsdiest (the GAB's military arm) were in attendance.  After the rally, Kuhn was arrested for larceny and forgery – he had embezzled $14,000 from the Bund. While the organization didn't prosecute him, as they considered their leader to have absolute power, the NYC district attorney prosecuted him in an attempt to damage the Bund.  Kuhn went to prison, and after his arrest, the Bund gradually fell apart.
The GAB was dissolved on December 8th, 1941, after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour.  After America declared war on Germany, federal officials began to arrest officials of the former Bund.  Gerhard Kunze, Kuhn's successor, was captured in Mexico, and sentenced to 15 years of jail time for “subversive activities”. 24 other officials were sent to prison, convicted of conspiracy to violate the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940 (America's first peacetime conscription act).  Other leaders committed suicide before the FBI could catch up with them.  Some of the ordinary members had their naturalization revoked and some spent time in prison camps; however, most members faced no consequences after the Bund was disbanded.  Kuhn was deported to Germany after the war.

• Friedrich Paulus
Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus was a German field marshal during World War II who commanded the 6th Army during the Battle of Stalingrad.
Paulus was born in Guxhagen on September 23rd, 1890 and grew up in Kassel, Hesse-Nassau, the son of a treasurer. He tried, unsuccessfully, to secure a cadetship in the Imperial German Navy and briefly studied law at Marburg University. After leaving the university without a degree, he joined the 111th Infantry Regiment as an officer cadet in February 1910. On July 4th, 1912 he married the Romanian Elena Rosetti-Solescu, the sister of a colleague who served in the same regiment. When World War I began, Paulus' regiment was part of the thrust into France, and he saw action in the Vosges and around Arras in the autumn of 1914. After a leave of absence due to illness, he joined the Alpenkorps as a staff officer, serving in France, Romania and Serbia. By the end of the war, he was a captain.
After the Armistice, Paulus was a brigade adjutant with the Freikorps. He was chosen as one of only 4,000 officers to serve in the Reichswehr, the defensive army that the Treaty of Versailles had limited to 100,000 men. He was assigned to the 13th Infantry Regiment at Stuttgart as a company commander. He served in various staff positions for over a decade. In 1920s, as part of the military cooperation between Weimar Republic and Soviet Union to escape Treaty of Versailles, Paulus presented guest lectures in Moscow, Soviet Union. Later, Paulus briefly commanded a motorized battalion before being named chief of staff for Panzer headquarters in October 1935. This was a new formation under the direction of Oswald Lutz that directed the training and development of the Panzerwaffen, or tank forces of the German army.
In February 1938 Paulus was appointed Chef des Generalstabes to Gen. Heinz Guderian's new XVI Armeekorps (Motorisiert), which replaced Lutz's command. Guderian described him as "brilliantly clever, conscientious, hard working, original and talented" but had severe doubts about his decisiveness, toughness and lack of command experience. He remained in that post until May 1939, when he was promoted to major general and became chief of staff for the German Tenth Army, with which he saw service in Poland. The unit was renamed the Sixth Army and engaged in the spring offensives of 1940 through the Netherlands and Belgium. Paulus was promoted to lieutenant general in August 1940. The following month he was named deputy chief of the German General Staff (Oberquartiermeister I). In that role he helped draft the plans for the invasion of the Soviet Union, Operation Barbarossa.
In November 1941, after German Sixth Army's commander Field Marshal Walther von Reichenau, Paulus' patron became commander of the entire Army Group South, Paulus, who had never commanded a larger unit than a battalion prior to this time, was promoted to General der Panzertruppe and became commander of the Sixth Army. However, he only took over his new command on January 20th, six days after the sudden death of Reichenau, leaving him on his own and without the support of his more experienced sponsor. Paulus led the drive on Stalingrad during that summer. His troops fought Soviet forces defending Stalingrad over three months in increasingly brutal urban warfare. In November 1942, when the Soviet Red Army launched a massive counter-offensive, code-named Operation Uranus, Paulus found himself surrounded by an entire Soviet Army Group. Paulus did not request to evacuate the city when the counter-offensive began. Paulus followed Adolf Hitler's orders to hold his forces' position in Stalingrad under all circumstances, despite the fact that he was completely surrounded by strong Soviet forces. Operation Winter Storm, a relief effort by Army Group Don under Field Marshal Erich von Manstein, was launched in December. Following his orders, Paulus prepared to cooperate with the offensive by trying to break out of Stalingrad. In the meantime, he kept his entire army in fixed defensive positions.
Manstein told Paulus that the relief would need assistance from the Sixth Army, but the order to initiate the breakout never came. Paulus remained absolutely firm in obeying the orders he had been given. Manstein's forces were unable to reach Stalingrad on their own and their efforts were eventually halted due to Soviet offensives elsewhere. For the next two months Paulus and his men fought on. However, the lack of food and ammunition, equipment attrition and the deteriorating physical condition of the German troops gradually wore down the German defense. With the new year Hitler promoted Paulus to Colonel General. On 7 January 1943 General Konstantin Rokossovsky, commander of the Red Army on the Don front, called a cease-fire and offered Paulus' men generous surrender terms: normal rations, medical treatment for the ill and wounded, permission to retain their badges, decorations, uniforms and personal effects. As part of his communication, Rokossovsky advised Paulus that he was in an impossible situation. Paulus requested permission from Hitler to surrender. Even though it was obvious the Sixth Army was in an untenable position, the German Army High Command rejected Paulus' request. After a heavy Soviet offensive overran the last emergency airstrip in Stalingrad on 25 January, the Soviets again offered Paulus a chance to surrender. Paulus radioed Hitler once again for permission. Telling Hitler that collapse was "inevitable," Paulus stressed that his men were without ammunition or food, and he was no longer able to command them. Once again, Hitler rejected Paulus' request out of hand, and ordered Paulus to hold Stalingrad to the death. On January 30th Paulus informed Hitler that his men were only hours from collapse. Hitler promoted Paulus to field marshal. In deciding to promote him, Hitler noted that there was no known record of a Prussian or German field marshal ever having surrendered. The implication was clear: Paulus was to commit suicide. Hitler implied that if Paulus allowed himself to be taken alive, he would shame Germany's military history.
Paulus and his staff were captured on the morning of January 31st, 1943. On 2 February 1943 the remainder of Sixth Army capitulated. Upon finding out about Paulus' "surrender", Hitler flew into a rage and vowed never to appoint another field marshal again. He would, in fact, go on to appoint another seven field marshals during the last two years of the war. Shortly before surrendering, Paulus sent his wedding ring back to his wife on the last plane departing his position. He had not seen her since 1942 and would not see her again, as she died in 1949 while he was still in captivity. At first Paulus refused to collaborate with the Soviets. However, after the attempted assassination of Hitler on July 20th, 1944, he became a vocal critic of the Nazi regime while in Soviet captivity, joining the Soviet-sponsored National Committee for a Free Germany appealing to Germans to surrender. He later acted as a witness for the prosecution at the Nuremberg Trials. During the Nuremberg Trials, Paulus was asked about the Stalingrad prisoners by a journalist. He told the journalist to tell the wives and mothers that their husbands and sons were well. Of the 91,000 German prisoners taken at Stalingrad, half had died on the march to Siberian prison camps, and nearly as many died in captivity; only about 6,000 survived and returned home. From 1953-56 he lived in Dresden, East Germany, where he worked as the civilian chief of the East German Military History Research Institute. In late 1956 he developed amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and became progressively weaker. He died within a few months, in Dresden, on February 1st, 1957, 14 years and one day after his surrender at Stalingrad. In his will he requested to be buried next to his wife.

Queen Victoria’s Descendants (2022 Living)

Bundestag vs. AfD - Teil 10
Was bringt der Gesetzentwurf?
Konstantin Kuhle (FDP): Bingo!

10 Facts About My Characters
Drop one of my characters’ names in my inbox and I’ll tell you 10 facts about them
Tumblr media
The Dok’s full name is:  Doktor Hermann Heinz Hanz Kurt Hesse, der aus Hessen kommt ... okay actually this is more of a joke, but ... who knows? It might be true.
He is older than Van, even if he looks barely as old as Renfield.
The day he learned that there was another source besides “She” for a true vampire’s blood it probably was like Christmas to him ... Who am I kidding? It was better than Christmas.
Apparently he likes black and green tea.
He is not exactly lazy, but I think he kind of likes all these people practically serving him ... Probably it is more of a: I can do so much more important stuff with my time, so thank you from saving me the trouble. I appreciate it.
He surely has more than just one doctor degree.
He is pretty skilled with scalpel.
He does not desire power, but he likes to live long for there is so much more to learn and do.
He is absolut pragmatic.
Hes not a sadist and takes no pleasure in hurting people - or vampires - at all. He is really just curious. :D

Football clubs against the AfD
The league takes a stand
"Is it contradictory to like your club and vote AfD?“ taz has asked around in football Bundesliga
by Johannes Kopp
„Borussia Dortmund is profoundly political“ the press officer of the Ruhr area club writes. „Thank you for this important enquiry,“ the colleague from Hoffenheim writes. All Bundesliga clubs reply, which is remarkable on its own.
Because when it’s about politics, email requests to football clubs are often moved to the virtual waste-paper basket. A common argument used to be that it wasn’t their respective area of responsibility. „Football has to try and stay away from political positioning“ Ralf Rangnick, coach of RB Leipzig, demanded not too long ago.
Werder Bremen’s president Hubertus Hess-Grunewald in turn declared it a matter of impossibility to make a football stadium a politics-free zone. Racist statements can be met with either silence or protest. Both are political, as they're perceived as either acceptance or disapproval. And in this vein Hess-Grunewald recently took a clear stand, and taz took the occasion to conduct a survey in 1. Liga.
„It’s a contradiction to support Werder and vote for the AfD“ Hess-Grunewald had said. So taz asked all the other clubs „Is it a contradiction to support your club and vote for the AfD?“
Only Hertha BSC answered with a simple „Yes.“ The capital’s club made headlines last season when the players collectively took a knee before kick-off, imitating US American athletes and their popular symbolic gesture against racism.
A little more elaborately, but just as clearly, Borussia Mönchengladbach replied in the affirmative. „Based on the assumption that the fans engage with the guidelines and general appearance of their club you can clearly state: Yes, it’s a contradiction.“ And Mainz 05 referred to a campaign which was, from the club’s point of view, answer enough. When AfD’s party chairman Alexander Gauland gave a speech at Mainz castle on the day of Mainz 05’s away game at Nuremberg, the club ran a newspaper ad „When away is the better alternative in Germany this Saturday“. [„AfD“ stands for „Alternative for Germany“.] Adding a small specification, 1. FC Nürnberg sets clear boundaries as well: „Anybody holding right-wing views or voting AfD out of right-wing motives can have no place at 1. FC Nürnberg.“
Initially the question „Where do you stand on AfD?“ had been brought up by the president of Eintracht Frankfurt. Peter Fischer said in an FAZ interview in December 2017: „Nobody can be a member [of our club] if they vote for this party with its racist and dehumanising tendencies.“ A few months later he bemoaned the fact that nobody in Bundesliga had followed his example. He wished, he said, that other clubs would take a clear stand against AfD as well.
What’s peculiar is the fact that all of the Bundesliga clubs not mentioned so far, in their reply to the AfD-question, without being asked to, denounced xenophobia, racism and exclusion - without mentioning the AfD at all. The „profoundly political“ Dortmunders, like many others, emphasise their neutrality concerning party politics.
Peter Fischer had suspected that the clubs were so noticeably reluctant concerning anti-AfD statements out of economic interests. After all 13 percent of voters were buying energy drinks, pills or cars. A hint to the main sponsors of the clubs.
But the matter is more complicated than that. Starting with the fact that the call for expulsion of AfD-voters from Eintracht Frankfurt was of purely symbolic political value. From a legal standpoint, concerning a party that’s not been classified as unconstitutional, it would be a futile endeavour. Werder Bremen’s president Hubertus Hess-Grunewald’s wielding a finer blade.
He explained his declaration on the contradiction between Werder and the AfD in a Weser Kurier interview thusly: „That doesn’t mean that he (the AfD voter, editor’s note) shouldn’t come to the stadium, but he should engage with our attitude and maybe he can be convinced to help working towards an open, tolerant society without exclusion and populism after all.“
The division in German society that’s become palpable with the AfD’s electoral successes has undoubtedly led to a politisation of football as well. Record champion Bayern München even has its board’s chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge answer taz’s AfD-question: „Football is a game for everybody, and football has values. FC Bayern unequivocally stands for cultural openness, integration, tolerance and respect.“
It’s very likely that the clubs will have to deal with this subject more thoroughly in the foreseeable future. There was a little commotion at FC Augsburg’s recent annual members’ meeting when one person, railing loudly, protested the presence of club member Markus Bayerbach, the chairman of Augsburg’s AfD. President Klaus Hofmann declared that if a motion was brought forward the legal possibilities of an exclusion could be investigated, as well as if a majority [of club members] was in favour of it.
An AfD party membership itself is certainly not sufficient. But if there was proof of xenophobic or racist statements on the part of Bayerbach, following Augsburg’s [club] constitution, like the statutes of other clubs, there would be cause for exclusion.
1. FC Nürnberg’s, for example, reads: „Anybody behaving dishonourably due to racist or xenophobic attitudes inside as well as outside of the club can be expelled.“ The political alertness of the Bundesliga clubs will be tested further in the future.

Heinz Rudolf Kunze Vermögen
Tumblr media
Heinz Rudolf Kunze Vermögen - Heinz Rudolf Erich Arthur Kunze 30.
