A theory about destiny and Morro's hair

Morro's green hair streak is weird. It's never explained or mentioned and he's had it since he was a child. It might be dyed but where the heck is a homeless orphan gonna get hair bleach and dye? It's more likely it's natural. Maybe its a weird elemental master thing, and wu probably thought it was cause he was going to be the green ninja, but I have another theory. See, green isn't just the color of the prophecide savior, it's also the color of ghosts.

Morro was doomed from the beginning. He was always destined to die early and go to the cursed realm, no matter how good he was or how hard he fought against it. The green streak in his hair was a warning.

No one was teleported to Tumble Town or even the mesa when the Hermits came through the Rift and were scattered around the server. Like, I'm sure the closest anyone was teleported was Pix's base and even that is quite a journey.

It's like even the server itself is laughing at Jimmy and Tumble Town.

And the mesa is so small too. On the server map it's just a little patch of mesa and the rest is a regular desert. It's also way at the bottom of the map, probably the second furthest out (the Evermore is the furthest out from anyone) so if anyone were to visit they'd have to fly for so long. And Tumble Town is just one of those places where you have to want to visit it.

Even Pix didn't go there to help clean up the sculk around the place.

And that was proven when none of the Hermits were scattered near Tumble Town. The only reason any Hermit step foot there was by choice. They were led there to tour it and nothing more.

It's just not somewhere you need to be. And if nobody needs to be there except for when they do, why not close it off? Surely there's not even anything worth looking at there anyway. Just grab your terracotta and leave.

It's kind of isolating how Tumble Town is built.

Aside from the massive walls that enclose a good portion of town, the other half is surrounded by plateaus all around.

And the placement of the walls almost feels intentional when you look at them like that. Like they were built to make the town feel even more closed off and maybe hidden away to some degree.

It's just really isolating, and anyone who visits can tell you they've never felt more small and alone than when they were in Tumble Town. It doesn't help that the town is super quiet, not even the sound of villagers ring through the air. It's basically a ghost town.

When they ask the Sheriff how he manages to live in the place, he just shrugs.

"I mean I don't sleep there. I can't. I feel like the walls will come crush me just as I'm about to fall asleep. Squish me flat." Jimmy's hands shake as he explains. His eyes dart around just to make sure there's nothing around him. There isn't.

"I just get what I need done and leave. I just can't be there anymore. It's too..." Jimmy tugs his sleeves down his arms and shakes them out so they sit right. "Cramped. It's suffocating. If I stay there for too long I feel like I'll die."

But Tumble Town doesn't stay abandoned. Jimmy has too much pride to admit defeat.

His days are panic filled and the only times he gets sleep is when he can catch a quick nap outside Tumble Town's borders.

No one comes to visit him simply because of how eerie the town is. He gets lonely at first, then wonders if he did something to drive everyone away again - maybe he was the problem, then he accepts no one is coming. So he doesn't go to them.

So yeah, Tumble Town is a little isolating in the way it is. And it does the job perfectly.

Morro has a scar from when the preemient was dragging him down into the water. It coils up his leg and wraps around his waist, settling in a spiral on his bacm. It's a dark, unnatural color and he will do anything to cover it. He dosent want to remember how his queen tried to kill him.

Out of the people that are in empires currently that were in double life, it's only Joel, Scott, and Jimmy. Only one other person would believe Joel if he said Jimmy threatened them.

Joel mentions it in passing. They were all having an underground market meeting with Joel showing off his latest merchandise. The topic of Jimmy came up as it usually does. This was an illegal market and he was the Sheriff.

"He threatened me recently." Joel says quietly. He catches Scott's eyes and Scott can see a flash of emotion. Please believe me. You remember too, right?

fWhip is first to bark a laugh. Joel worries something in his voice gave away the slight fear he felt replaying Jimmy's words in his head.

"What and you think he means it? Get a grip Joel it's Jimmy! He couldn't hurt even the smallest of bugs." fWhip laughs and shrugs Joel off.

Scott swallows thickly and adopts an half hearted smile. "Yeah come on, Joel. What has Jimmy done for you to be spooked like that?" His voice wavers at first and his hands grip his jacket just a bit tighter.

Joel is silent. He's horrified. Scott doesn't remember the lucky bastard and he was really counting on Scott backing him up. His one potential support system for whatever the fuck happened in Double Life.

Joel sighs. "Nothing. Just... something funny I suppose." He doesn't sound amused at all.

Nadia x quietly angry MC

While I think Nadia and MC would maintain a peaceful relationship, shit still happens; it's natural.

When there is a misunderstanding, Nadia prefers to talk things through instead of arguing, but she's human, MC is too, and someone might occasionally end up feeling hurt or angry. And when MC goes silent and tells the Countess that they need some time alone, Nadia knows that she fucked up.

When it's obvious that Nadia is the one who made a mistake and she needs to apologize, she usually waits about an hour or two before approaching MC. She wouldn't want to disturb MC before they had a chance to think, but she also can't help reaching out to them as soon as she comes to her senses.

When it's MC who made a mistake, Nadia waits for them to come to her, no matter how long it takes. She understands the importance of being alone with our own thoughts for a little while. She's patient, but she always hopes that MC will return to her soon so that they can sort things out.

Either way, Nadia feels very bad about it. Her heart aches whenever MC is angry at her. She simply hates it.

But Nadia appreciates it; she really does. Even in their anger, MC is able to put her first because of the love they feel for her.

When things have calmed down, cuddles are a must.

And when MC is angry at someone who is not Nadia, the Countess makes sure to let MC know that she's more than willing to listen to them, but obviously, that's not what happens in this case.

MC withdraws, then returns and talks things through with the person. Nadia tells them how proud she is of them for being so mature and thoughtful.

If the person is being a little bitch about it and is rude despite MC doing their best, then Nadia and MC talk shit about them later in private.

First impression

I mean, her first appearance was pretty nice, tho not very clear what kind of character she would be. Though, her interaction with Almer was cute... and I could relate to the awkwardness and being unable to communicate clearly what you mean.

Ahhh she's precious, she's the tism creature that also has all the angst. And yet she's still holding on strong! She just wants the good for everyone! Be nice to her please! I love that she's being treated well by every character and isn't infantilized, even tho she might seem "weird" to most.

Favorite moment

OH GOSH there's several good ones.... hmmm if I was to pick I'd go with when she and Jodi talk about her past and then just hug. ITS SO PRECIOUS??? IM SOBBING 🥺🥺🥺🥺 Girlie had to go thru so much, yet she's still smiling.... And Jodi is just like... so happy for her genuinely... ough

No ideas yet but... Who knows, maybe I'll cook smt in the future 👀. There is certainly a lot to explore.

Unpopular opinion

I'm not reeeeally the biggest fan *ae and Almer being romantically involved... like, I like some fan depictions, but just as is in canon she doesn't seem very interested in romance at all, so it's one-sided at best. Though again, if it's your favorite, I don't judge!

Hough... dogdeer or Jodi mom.... Hard to choose, tho in canon I'd say I like her relationship w Jodi more... They're just OUGH 🥺🥺🥺🥺(as evident by the scene above)
