Oralech is trying to frame the Fate. Almer is asking the "stranger healer" what flowers are best to give the nightwing girl

Almer: Yeah, that's great! That's exactly what it is! But, uh... how will she know it's for her? What if an evil demoness takes my flowers? Or even that crazy sap! Rrrrrgh!

Almer: Oh, thank you. They have a Reader!

Dalbert is the one who gave Almer his name after rescuing him as a child and, similarly, the cur loves to call him 'pup'; usually 'my pup' or 'dear pup', a habit of Dalbert's that embarrassed Almer the older he got but it's also something he'll cling to in moments of extreme emotion or distress. If he's in a heightened state of emotion it will make him cry which usually helps him to calm down.

Being called 'pup' and 'son' by Dalbert is just another reminder that he's finally been accepted by someone after all, and even if he kicks up a bit of a fuss around others Almer still loves that his father calls him so. It reminds him of his place, his family, and that means the world to Almer.

Oralech is a doctor and according to type, neglects his own health. Just as well he has friends that will go to any lengths for him.

First impression It probably went something like this: Who is this sad angry man and why do I care for him so much. I think seeing him was like, I dunno, a pleasant surprise!

Impression now Prettyy much the same but I have grown more attached (no thanks to you /pos). Shes mu silly little guy and I hope he experiences all the life's joys. He's still my fav sad angry man.

Favorite moment Any _ae and Almer is great!! Seeming as it's the only ones we really get in game. But I do like the scene where if you crash into their wagon, _ae will call out to Almer to say hi/apologise. And then Almer running to help Dadbert.

Favorite relationship Heh. Heheheh. _ae and Almer. Again considering it's the only real one we see aside from his relationship with his Dad. _ae is such a weird force of energy in Almers life, and I think his confusions to her unabashed kindness is super fun. Like yesssss.

Favorite headcanon This kid loves to knit!! He may not be great, but he will try his best as he just wants something to feel like his good at. Also that a lot of the facial markings are symbolic of his adoptive family, I think he'd have tattoos/markings like that all over.
