The Princess and the Dragon route continues to be one of the best in the game.

Not only is it brilliant meta commentary.

But you see what you look like and go, "holy shit I have been pulling up to the princess every time looking like that?! And she still wants to talk to me?"

It paints the Princess so much more empathetically and not just because we are sharing her POV. We see how imposing we look, how insane, and realize all those times she's looked at us and been willing to trust. She's been willing to trust the bird dragon that breaks into her house and may kill her.

It re-contextualizes every other interaction you have with her knowing how frightening you must look to a girl chained up in a basement. And her more violent forms must have seen a monster worth fighting. Because there are many times we both looked like a monster and acted like one.

It's that POV that changes the way you see every route you've done before, and how you see every route after.

Like damn I am massive, unreadable and sometimes wielding a blade. I wouldn't trust me either.
