I watch all my shows live/while on tumblr and I get so angry and worked up with all of y’all and then the next day I watch all my shows again with my mom who enjoys shows at face value and who enjoys everything and it really makes me think about how this website has corroded my brain.

Sorry more dragon age stuff this time specifically why Bellara did something with my brain chemistry.

Okay so like, I've been a dragon age lover for about 12 years and honestly? Bellara might be my favorite Bioware character just for how the game portrays her ADHD.

It's both like, obviously in the way she talks quickly and subtle for doing stuff like pointing things out in her quests. The other characters treat her like an adult too. The most we get is Neve very politely telling her that being a detective requires a lot of focus and it's done with imo a lot of respect. (Which also it's good because girl just wants to pick up everything cool she sees and I just now realized that I was typing that out. Damn you Elper you're good.)

But the thing that got me the most? Her romance. Yeah this game is just like ME1 with them. Yeah I wish I got more. However what I got from her romance was extremely impactful for one reason. In a Taash travel banter she tells them that she's had relationships fail because of the way her focus works. She specifically blames it leading to her break up with Irelin. She says to Taash that people would always like her for what she could be, but not how she actually is, and that actually stuck with me. (Which btw that's probably one of my favorite chains of party banter because they're both so supportive of one another just 🥲)

But in the romance scene right after the eclipse, you'll chat with her and she'll specifically bring up that your rook loves her for who she is right then and there. Just the words used feesl very sweet. It puts into perspective all the times I picked the heart option and me going "wow I'm just being nice to her". You are but more importantly you're affirming to her that she's perfect just the way she is.

As an extra sidenote: Bellara's whole story's themes are about acceptance of who you are and moving forward. I feel like the choice of keeping or releasing the archive is reflective on that. There's not really a *wrong* answer, you either accept that the past is painful and dangerous but worth learning (while giving her an outfit reflective of what the ancient elves wear) or that it's better to figure out your own path through life, even if it means always having questions, to free yourself from the path a tyrant chose for you. (Giving her an outfit that's a lot more unique.)

Tbh it still stuns me that this is Elper's first character to write. I think he did fantastic at conveying her character. I know he used a lot of his own experiences to color her and honestly, I'm happy he did. It shows.

Just based on the information I've read about the struggles of Feyres pregnancy in ACOSF.... Does that mean Nesta can never get pregnant by Cassian and give brith to his children because of the same complications Feyre had? Suppose they could adopt but there is no way they can magically have biological kids because the same biological issues feysand had would also apply to them?

Hey! (SPOILER) So during the scene when Feyre is giving birth, Nesta begs the cauldron to save her sister and basically says “I’ll give everything back” (what she stole from the cauldron). Right after that scene, Nesta tells Cassian that she had changed Feyre’s biology AND hers, so that they’d never go through this again.

The person we have to worry about is Elain, if SJM decides to pair her with Az.

there's obviously some things that are out of character. for example, nickel and baseball aren't yucky creeps !! i just felt like those two were enough of a duo that also played a mostly antagonist role. soap was gonna be martha, but i feel like she wasn't effected by all the drama enough as suitcase was. just pretend suitcase and microphone were super close best friends. microphone and taco's dynamic is very veronica and jd to me. those two were the first things i thought of for this au and the easiest to think of. fan is definitely out of character as heather chandler but he died due to microphone and taco PLUS he's red so... lightbulb fits heather mcnamara's character very well, putting up a persona, hiding a lot of things inside, plus just her general personality. test tube isn't quite as antagonistic as heather duke is, buuuttt she fits the character quite well! she also disliked microphone for a while and was close to fan + tried to kick out microphone after he died in ep14 which parallels to heather duke.

will probably draw of this in the future! if you draw anything relating to this au i will do a happy jig

More dragon age Veilguard stuff... One of my big complaints (ig small in the scheme) was just how... Weird they handled Krem to me. Like he's trans but it's like they couldn't actually say it. He's trans but they got amazing but def not trans voice actress Jennifer Hale to voice him. He's trans, but presented in a way where I was absolutely confused on my first playthrough why I was asking this young man if he was a woman.

I do understand that it is jarring to hear terms that we think of modern in a video game based on, while in the more middle ages kinda deal. However in the real world, the real world where Bridget Guilty Gear can look at the audience and say "I'm trans" and chuds bend over backwards to say "um actually", I need people to say the word Trans. I need Taash to say the word Nonbinary. I need them to be voiced by a Nonbinary actor. I find it better than trying to slide it under the table with a conversation about binding. I need it to be obvious, without a question, so I can avoid people that got to that point in the game but call Taash "she".

Also, both Mae and Tarquin are voiced by trans actors too. And Harding will straight up call Krem Trans. We take those.
