Yay! Hubby and I completed the first week of the new fitness program @645program! I have been checking in on stories daily to stay accountable and keeping track in my fitness group(s) too. We weighed and measured ourselves this week and can't wait to see what the next 12 weeks brings us. Looks like I have lost a few pounds although my goal for this is to get stronger and back to my 'normal' self. I would love to lose weight but inches would be fine too.😉 This 13 week program is a huge stretch for me as many of you know just 2 months ago I was in the ICU with a bad case of COVID pneumonia. And I have pretty bad knees. I have a lot of work to do but surprisingly I'm feeling great. I don't get out of breath in this program as much as I do walking to the mail box and walking up and down stairs. I don't have to take too many breaks during the workout which is really nice.👍 I'm still modifying the modifier but I'm all in. I know this workout will make us stronger 🙌 This workout is really helping mentally too. It's pushing me to do better every day. "This 13-week program combines cardio, resistance training, and restorative mobility workouts. Learn how to use proper form, workout with intention, be present with your body and reach your highest potential yet!" Doing the workout with my hubby Kevin is different from what I am used to but I love it. The 18 Week Challenge!
The Original Plan:
The Journey through 2018, Weight Loss Challenge!
Goal: Lose 75-100lbs
Week Setpoints:
Monday-Wednesday WORK DAYS
Thursday REST DAY
Friday-Sunday WORK DAY
To Lose 75-100lbs in 18 weeks.
We need to do some Math. Alright Take your Weight and Divide by 18. That should give you how many lbs you need to lose a week. Then take that answer and divide it by 6. That will tell you your Ideal DAILY Weight loss \You may need to round to the nearest WHOLE NUMBER\! For Example (235lbs/18weeks = 13lbs/6days = 2lbs Daily) Another Example (325lbs/18weeks = 18lbs/6days = 3lbs Daily) So whether you’re MALE or FEMALE.
This can be Done. Doctors always say it’s healthier to lose 2-3lbs daily over Heavy weight loss all at once, cuz all that weight you got to disappear will come back just as quick as you lost it. So 2-3lbs Daily is the HEALTHY WAY and the best way to keep it off. Keep in mind that You may need to keep doing the daily diet and exercise to keep it off though. It wont just stay gone!
NOTE: This Diet is going to kinda suck, because here’s the 1st thing that you’re going to have to do so you do not set yourself up for failure in the beginning. You can not drink Soda anymore. You’re allowed it 1 time a week and that is on Your Rest Day. Coffee Drinkers like myself. Do not hate yourself, but You are allowed 1 12oz cup of coffer a day. With 1tsp of Sugar and 1 tbsp of Creamer. If you drink it Black then you’re good to go but Only ONE 12oz cup A DAY!!! Also We’ll be switching our breads and grains a bit too. We need to either make it all from scratch or buy Bread/grains with no High Fructose Corn Syrup.
BIG TIP BIG BIG BIG: When buying food for your Health Journey. Packaged/Processed items are a Big No, but if you must NO HIGH FRUITOSE CORN SYRUP IS ALLOWED IN It. Start reading your labels and Nutrition Facts! (Farmer Markets are amazing. No Packaged stuff.)
OUR “WEEK” is going to be Monday through Sunday. We are allowed 1 DAY a week as “Rest Day” That is the day you can eat whatever you want and drink Soda, or all the coffee you’d like. I’m going to choose Thursday because it is directly in the middle of our week setpoint. So it gives us 3 days of Work Days 1 Rest Day 3 Work Days then start over. Our bodies will hate us at first but love us in the end!
Week 1 - Detox (Starting Jan. 29th)
Now This is going to be the “Mind over Matter” time period DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED. We’ll work together to get started :) You can drink Detox Water, Japanese Green Tea, Detox Pill (Careful with these, You should talk to a doctor before taking ANY)
Week 2 - The Diet
Here is where we’ll re-evaluate what we eat and put into our body and change what needs to go. This does not mean you can’t eat anything you want. Just LITTLE changes are needed.
Week 3 - The Change
This is the week that’s going to make it tougher then ever… Exercise. No not Full Blown Body Workout Plans. Just simple Changes to add to your routine and it doesn’t have to be Daily!
Week 4 - The Update
This is where we’ll come back and make a routine update “Before - After” and What we’ve succeeded.
Week 5 - The Redo
HERE we’ll see how everything is going and SOME updating to our “Plan” will possibly need to be done because after a couple weeks the “Easy Plan” may just not work anymore and to keep our Ideal goal in mind we have to at least accomplish our realistic goal. So here we’ll come up with another idea!
Week 6 - The Journal
This is where I’d like to write how I’ve felt so far throughout the journey and what I’ve accomplished even with blogging towards you guys. What I’ve changed and how I’ve felt through it all!
Week 7~11 - Repeat
this is where we begin again from Week 2 - 6 and do it all again with a New Level to up our game!
Week 12 - The Current Results!
This is where we’ll post our results and how things went for our 3 month journey and I’ll continue to go from here as a blogger of Health, Beauty, Lifestyle Changes!
Week 13 ~17 – Repeat
This is where we’ll up it another level and redo week 2 – 6 once again. There are 3 levels to this plan and once we hit level 3. It should feel natural and You can go back to level 1 or 2 after the end if you wish. But Make one of the levels a Normal Life Routine!
Week 18 – The Final Results!
Here is where we’ll all post our results and how things went for our 18 week journey and I’ll continue to blog with new things I learn in my journey of keeping healthy and I’ll start another blog to do Health and Beauty! So I’ll always be around to continue Blogging and possibly Vlogging!
