I asked my uncle the other day who’s been married for 40 years what’s the secret to a happy and long lasting marriage and he said communication, do things you love together, and look good. I said “look good”? Really Tio? And he said of course. You have to eat healthy foods, workout, and look good for each other. I didn’t expect that as one of the answers but if he’s been married for 40 years I’ll take his advice. So here we are eating healthy foods and working out together because we want our relationship to continue growing and evolving. A couple that is healthy together stays together. We get to motivate each other and encourage each other to be all that we can be. Help us congratulate this AWESOME couple, Anthony Brown and Corsica Brown, on their accomplishments of DEMOLISHING 22 lbs. of unhealthy fat as a couple. I remember talking to Anthony a very long time ago about making a lifestyle change but at the time he wasn't ready. Finally he got tired of lifting all the weights in the gym and not seeing any results. Anthony came to us and started the shake challenge and he said, "well if I'm going to do this I know my wife is going to want to do it with me so let's get us both started!" Jenny’s Belated Live Blogging - 18th October 2018

- I really enjoyed everything about both of these episodes. Such a nice change after the train wreck of last week. 

- The Maya stuff was way more interesting today with Leyla and Leanna being involved and I liked getting to see Maya be horrible to Leanna because I want to start getting to where this story is going and it was good to see more of her true colors. Also good to see a glimpse as to why Leanna hates her so much because it’s clearly not all because Leanna is a bit of a brat. I don’t know...that story actually had some life to it today even though I wanted to punch David through half of it but that’s par for the course. Haha. 

- I was surprised to see them give Rebecca her job at the pub back for these episodes but then watching her have a meltdown by the end of the night, it made a lot more sense. I still have trust issues on the believing she’s leaving front but this was definitely another step in that direction if the pub job is too much for her. Although she likely won’t have to run the place every night. 

- Good to hear Liv’s babysitting though. 

- I love absolutely everything about the Bernice/Dr C/Diane/Daz stuff. So good, so fun. I loved Diane catching them in the pub toilets and sending Daz to the B&B and then setting it up so Daz was still living with them because she just wants Bernice to get it together and dump Daz so badly and I really support her in that endeavor. Such an enjoyable little plot. And I love Cavastock. They’re so fun and kooky and ridiculous. 

- ‘Peter’ and Rhona are lovely and Pete playing with Leo on the slide was so sweet. I really hope they get to stay together for a while. I really love them. And even though April is probably the one in the wrong here, or at least making it worse, it’s great to see her again and to get all of these characters interacting again. 

- And I also thoroughly enjoyed all things Robron/Vic/Matty tonight. 

- I was glad to see a little tiff between Robron over Aaron not telling Robert about Budapest and I liked that Robert was disappointed. But it is nice to see them talk it out and not just have one of them run off like the old days. #HealthyHusbands But I’m just happy to see them get proper scenes out of all of this. 

- Matty interacting with Robert and Aaron is great. I love that he’s a failure at criminal activity and Aaron and Robert had to set him straight multiple times. 

- All of the shots at the shipping yard with them running around were amazing. I look forward to the gifs

- I like that Vic got to beat up the PI guy and didn’t need them to save her. But I like that we got a bit of threatening Aaron in there anyway. I’ve missed him. 

- Poor Matty having Vic take everything out on him but I liked Aaron sticking up for him. 

- I loved getting to see Robert have a bit of a reaction to Vic pawning their mum’s ring and Aaron getting to sort of tell Vic off for being flippant about it because he knows how much Sarah means to Robert. Good stuff. 

- I know people have had their issues with Vic the past couple of weeks but I think it was important that they did this little story for her. Selfishly, I’m glad it gave Robron some fun screen time, but I also think it was important to finally give her some proper closure. She had too much else going on when he left and they never wrote in this arc then so I think it’s good that she finally got to have some feelings about him leaving and find out the truth about Moira and what Adam did for her. But I think it’s kind of good that they had him meet someone and move on because it gives her the freedom to do so as well without it all feeling weird and open ended. 

- I loved getting to see Diane comfort Vic too. It’s been nice getting to see them interacting this week because we don’t get enough of that anymore. And nice to see her checking in with the boys and vice versa too. 

- I loved that we got a little debrief scene at the pub with Robron and Matty and their reactions when Vic came in to meet Ellis. 

- I feel bad for Ellis since he’s really just being used here but I’m glad to see him again and I’m still torn on who I want Vic to be with. But I liked getting to see Matty’s jealous side again too. I just really like all of these characters interacting. 

- I also just really enjoyed having all of these scenes at the pub tonight. I feel like it’s been a while since we’ve had so many stories cross over like that at the pub. It felt more like I was watching a 2012 episode or something. I don’t know it was nice. And nice to see Jimmy and Nicola put in an appearance as well. And the darts game. Haha. 

- All in all, I just really loved tonight. A good feeling. 

- oh and Harriet was almost useful! Haha.
