I had this Ion Body Cleanse done on Friday at #nirvanawellnesscentre Saravjit, whom I found out is also an oily sister. Check out the grossness that I'm glad to have had removed out of me! We ended with a raindrop reflexology foot massage to help protect and replace lost healthy nutrients that also came out as the other yuck was released. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone wanting to detox their body. #imback 🦄 actually, I’ve been back stalking y’all since feb 1st but here is my first post to share some studies I’ve done over the last month or so. Having time away from here gave my mind a break from holding myself under the shadow of other’s art and creativity. It is hard to explain, but it felt like I gave my own art some sunlight and air and now small shoots have started to flourish. I had some ‘ah ha’ moments with technique and let fascinations and experiments drive what I painted and explored, rather than what I thought would be most appealing to the faceless people who might glance it. * * * I was a bit reluctant to be back and posting, I haven’t really spent much time on social media platforms since my break. It was a relief to have to pressure taken off me to constantly post new and amazing things, giving me space to just live. My mind found some amazing thoughts and inspirations and I feel like there is a lot more clarity in actively seeking the content I consume rather than waiting for it to come to me. I can’t deny what a useful tool social media is, especially when it comes to connecting with creative communities and promoting their efforts, but living life through the anticipation of a lens isn’t really living.
