I had either the pleasure or misfortune of walking into a Purple mattress store with my friend today for funsies, both of us broke as hell and neither looking for a new mattress but wanting to pretend for a little while that we had money in this big touristy outlet mall. And I need you to tell me something awful about these beds because the only thing I could say as we left was "I need to win the lottery." The salesman had us lay on the soft bed (per my preference) and then showed us the adjustable settings and the vibration mode. The pillows alone are like 250 but I don't think I have ever been so comfortable in my life. Please ruin this picture perfect out of budget bed for me. Or at least give me hope that I can find something just as comfy at a better cost once I look to replace my mattress with a new one.

Do you want to know a secret? When your bed is old and broken down almost every bed should feel amazing to you. Because it is new and still functioning as a bed.

Purple is not remotely in the ballpark of what I consider good bang for buck in general terms. For one major reason: they come in a box. Why?? Why compress a luxury bed into a box!? It just degrades the support.

I’ve made my peace with selling Purple and if it were not compressed with the gel grid I’d say they’re a top contender but as it stands I have reservations about their longevity.

I heard somewhere that X-1 is one of the hardest X missions in UtK1, and having just beaten X-2 on my second try with no particular strategy, I think that's probably accurate.

Also, using healing touch in UtK1 is supposed to give you an automatic C-rank, but I got a B-rank in X-2 even tho I used healing touch. Turns out that fandom wikis are indeed full of lies.

It's a 'simple' question, one that most anyone would be able to supply an answer for in two shakes of a horse's tail... But for people like them? Such an inquiry is not one so easily answered at best; and at worst, a completely loaded attempt to weed-out weakness and empathy in a dealer of death. Luckily, she's bold enough to care little about about such things anymore.

For the past month ive been feeling really ugly. Ive been using acrylic nails for a long time and theyve really done a number to my natural nails. A lot of them are lifted, and the amount of stress i put on them means they dont grow back right, but i dont like not having them because long nails are a big source of confidence for me. I decided enough was enough and got them all removed and gave my natural nails a month to heal and clear up. I finally got them to a lenth to where i could switch to gel nails, which is a lot less damaging. They arent as long as my acrylics, but i realize that long term nail health is more important. 🌸🎀

I hope i get better at gel nails going forward, expect to see progress pictures here hehe ♡

10 weeks post top surgery

Numbness under the arms fading and last stitches along the main incision have come free (that's what the 'pock marks' are). Had very minor bleeding from one of them, stopped quickly.
