Because Fred was canonically unable to recognize Daphne when she changed her outfit in Mystery Incorporated in the trap of love episode, he would not realize Clark Kent and Superman are the same person.

The rest of the gang knows, and they just assume he knows and is playing it up. Like, Superman flies away and then immediately after Clark shows up and Fred is just like:

"Oh, hey Clark. You missed a monster attack."

And Clark is like. "Tell me more." Because he totally wasn't there, no.

And the gang plays along. Eventually they realize Fred doesn't know what is going on, and try to tell him. Fred thinks they're just messing with him, because "I would know if one of my best friends was Superman, guys."

Bonus points if Fred realizes that Clark has powers, and then just makes the completely wrong conclusion.

"Hmm, Clark can fly. What is happening...? of course! He just got those powers, and doesn't want to talk about them b/c he doesn't want to be viewed as an enemy!"

Alternatively, the reason Clark uses glasses as his disguise is b/c Fred reassured him it'd be fine.

It's such a rarity to be able to sit back and just watch Sephiroth interact with others. Especially in an informal manner. He's reclusive on his good days, and downright non-existent on his bad days. But when Soleil can sneak a look. Just watching a person can reveal quite a lot about who they are as a person.

Because... there was an air around the man. Dark and deadly. Sad and lonely. Something almost evil lurking below the surface that wasn't who Sephiroth was, but threatened to turn him into what he wasn't. Soleil didn't know how else to describe it. But he could feel like something wasn't right. Maybe it was just a side effect of going to war at such a young age? It was so hard to say.

What probably didn't help much was that he viewed Sephiroth through glasses tinted rosy with nostalgia. Remembering the boy he tried so hard to love and protect because no one else would. To the grown man that didn't need someone to protect him. Least of all Soleil. ( Soleil wasn't weak by any means but, he also knew who was stronger of the two. )

The latter of love... well, that was an entirely different problem to deal with. For now, Soleil just wanted to befriend.

Despite it all, he didn't hate or dislike who Sephiroth was now. Sephiroth was strong, stern, and unyielding. He was inspiring. Seeing him coming so far did a lot for Soleil's confidence and determination to keep going, to pursue a career he didn't really want. Plus, some things where still there that were familiar.

Soleil deeply admired Sephiroth, and wished for nothing more than to support him.

( Or save him--- whichever it came out to be. Soleil did have a terrible savior complex, after all. )

Ok ok hear me out: it could end in tragedy,, AND have a happy ending. The attempt(s) on Machete’s life force him to flee, he doesn’t even have the chance to find Vasco. Cue gay longing for at least a few years while Machete despairs over the loss of his love, his life, his status. He and Vasco only reunite (again) in their later years. Their relationship is forever flavored with loss and loneliness, but that only means they savor every moment that much more

I also I would like to see them as old men. Vasco would be so droopy :)

yes the peacock miraculous obviously needs to be felix's and is extremely significant to him and there's so much poetry about the fact that he is the holder of the very miraculous that created him and him being the holder of it is deeply entrenched into the plot. HOWEVER.

Just Alpha seeing Ifrit for the first time, at his summoning. And look, Alpha's a big, ancient ghoul, but unholy shit, this new one is built like a tank. Wide shoulders and massive freaking chest, thick arms, big hands. So of course Alpha's a bit concerned - not that he'd let anyone know. After all, he's the one who'll mentor the new summon. And fire ghouls aren't notorious for their easy temper. Alpha might be a vicious fighter when needed, but that new kid looks like he could crush a rock with his bare hands. So yes, he might be a bit apprehensive, as he watches the new fire ghoul shake his head, blink a couple of times, clearly disoriented as the ritual comes to an end. Omega's talking to him - welcoming him, making sure he's okay - but the new fire ghoul instinctively looks around for a ghoul sharing his element and- oh, there, he found one. Alpha tenses a bit, unsure what to expect. Snarling, probably - fire on fire, an explosive combination and all that - maybe a bit of growling, a snap of jaw or two. What he absolutely did not expect was for this ripped ghoul to break into a boyish smile, tail wagging excitedly behind him. And then proceed to trip over his own feet the second he slides off the altar. Alpha holds back a snort, lips twicthing up ever-so-slightly. Right. Looks like he'll be fine.

One of the things that really bothers me in some solangelo fanfics is the way Will is written because authors will literally remove all his flaws and make him perfect. Like give me Will who goes to poke a pimple in tartarus just to check if it potentially has healing properties , give me Will who can unintentionally rude at times by being blunt and not having a filter, give me Will who does not hesitate to share his opinions. Like yes, Will is kind , forgiving, and has a strong sense of justice, is supportive , accepting, will put others needs ( emotional and physical) over his own but he's an audhd teenager with anxiety , self-worth issues and a hero complex. He is also very sassy ( at times ) and can be pretty scary when he needs to be. He is far from perfect, and ppl need to understand that !! His flaws make his character so much more interesting.
