I think at first when you first arrive they just assume that you are like most others at NRC and are just anti social since it is a school for villains 

But once you become more acquainted with them all and have a friendship with the rest of them they start to become more and more concerned with your behavior because they think that as friends you should be comfortable coming to them when you need help, especially after you have helped them so much with all that you’ve done 

I think riddle can really relate as it seems that when he wasn't being micromanaged he was being neglected at least emotionally so he knows the feeling 

Malleus and leona also understand, malleus has always just felt so alone that even tho lilia was a good parent he's never really had a lot of people in his life, leona has always felt second best or has been ignored so they also understand 

At first i don't think that any of them say too much, really they are trying to make you realize that they do in fact want to hang out because they enjoy being around you

It's even worse if they like you because they dont get why you are so distant

Eventually they call a intervention lol and have a sit down where they give you pseudo therapy to help you

They really try to hammer it home that you don't have too feel like you're not good enough and that again they do want you to be around them 

They also tell you that after all you've done they genuinely want you to come to them if you have problems or need something

Ok specifics time 

Riddle really relates to your issues, even though his problems are like on the opposite end of the spectrum he also struggles with feeling like he has to do everything on his own, he tries to help you the same way you helped him. He likes inviting you to tea and all but interrogating you on anything you may need help with. Definitely helps you study 

Leona is less forward about his affections/making you feel better but he has his own ways. If he sees you on his way to the botanical garden he is dragging you with him and you are TAKING A NAP. he doesn't give af you are napping with him and you are gonna be so snug. In leonas mind he hates people disturbing him when he's napping so having you with him when he's napping means that he doesn't see you as a disturbance. It's really sweet. He also relates to feeling pushed aside and neglected so he makes sure to give you extra attention. 

Azul is well versed in insecurity and while his stems from self image and body images, he still understands it at the core. He's bad at this really, he wants to be there for you but the shady octopus is struggling big time. He decides that having you for dinners is a good idea, the lounge is nice and peaceful as you eat a tasty dinner together, he takes the opportunity to ask if anyone has been bothering you lately, old shady habits die hard. 

Jamil cooks with you (i feel like jamil's idea of cooking with you is you sit on the counter and eat the little treats he gives you while he does the real cooking) jkjk he likes cooking with you because it allows you to both be close and do something you enjoy, but it also lets you both get a little treat at the end (the treat is his cooking because its god tier) 

Vil makes it known very quickly that he will not be standing for this behavior. He's putting an end to it one way or another, hence your now shared morning and night skincare routine. Well it's more like doing each other's routine, he teaches you the steps, you do his and he does yours. Whole nine yards, im talking matching fluffy headbands and those cute face masks as a treat. Normally he wouldn't get them but if a hello kitty/fun face/eye mask makes you happy then he will indulge (only after triple checking the ingredients because he does not play games)

Idia games with you, either separately or together in his dorm he loves playing videogames with you, especially ones like “it takes two” (amazing game btw) he's very antisocial so he hopes you understand how close he feels letting you into his room to game with him because literally no one else gets this kind of SS+ 5 hearts treatment 

Malleus is the worst offender because if you thought the dragon was already kinda clingy after this info is revealed it is 100% worse. He feels the need to show you all the attention he can to make up for lost time, the same way having you as a friend (and potentially more than a friend) has made up for manyyyyyyyy years of loneliness in his mind. The night walks are his favorite, hand in hand as you both walk along in silence, even with the silence he occasionally chimes in with little words of affirmation. Galadriel- An absolute badass are you kidding. 10/10 no questions she makes the others look like babies. Would win hot ones or whatever I've never seen the show. Pain is nothing to this queen, she just smiles that gorgeous smile and laughs at the others' reactions as if she was given a bonbon.

Thranduil- Threatens anyone who questions his 'allergy' to spice as weakness, literally getting in their face and whispering a threat that shakes them to their core. If cornered would claim geographic tongue. Solid 3, vinegar is practically too much for the guy, all he can handle is the faint 'burn' of alcohol.

6x10 Escape Plan

Let me start with how happy it makes my heart that Tim smiles when she walks up to him. Despite all the hurt just the sight of her elicits a smile out of him automatically. His walking sunshine. Love of his damn life. She truly is his happy place in human form. Lucy making a crack about him taking a half day. Their banter still simmering beneath the surface. It's a little subdued in this moment but it's alive and well with Tim's reply. He is ever the gentlemen letting her go first.

His elevator version of holding the door for her. That chivalry never dying with him. It's the little things. Can't ignore how Lucy is looking at this man the entire scene. From start to finish. With such reverence and love. Still so in love with this man standing in front of her. Lucy can't help it. She is a moth to a flame with him. Especially with Tim thanking her for saving his life. Let's delve into that a little shall we? Tim Bradford is saying he didn't have it. Admitting fault he would've lost that battle without her.

Saying not only did he not have it but Lucy did. That he wouldn't be standing here without her. Giving her the kudos and all the praise for saving his life. Far cry from 1x01 and his future reaction to that moment in S5. This is a different Tim we see standing before us everyone. The amount of growth in this moment is immense. Because not only did she save his life but she saved him in a deeper sense. Feels like it's truly hitting him like a freight train the impact she's had on his life. I think there is double meaning to his words above. It's what leads him into this next section below.

The loving expression on Lucy's face when she replies ' You're Welcome.' That look of I'm still in love with you, I would do anything for you despite the hurt, and her realizing the deeper meaning of Tim thanking her. The growth she is currently seeing in him is prompting this soft/warm look and even softer reply. It's what encourages Tim to say his next portion. You can see him psyching himself up before he turns around to apologize. To own what he's done to them. To her.

Tim starts his apology by telling her he knows what he’s done (thank you lord for this) That he knows he ruined everything. You sure did babe...but you’re gonna earn it all back I know it. Lucy has the most loving and forgiving nature. The biggest heart. Also we can see there is still a tinge of anger to her expression at first above. So that journey will not be an easy one for Tim. Nor should it be. He has a lot to make up for. But my god will it be worth it in the end. I truly believe that. I'm going to be crying river's when we get there.

Look at how he has grown. Immediately spilling his guts emotionally to her twice in one episode. Not once but TWICE. Hell three times really. With saying she saved him and admitting fault to what he's done. I can't get over this. He had two really hard conversations with her in this episode. Swallowing that pride of his he's trying to hard to overcome. Doing this in order to communicate better with her. To show her he's putting in the time and the effort. To let her know he knows he messed up and is owning that. Something Tim wouldn't have done before. At least not easily. These are great strides for him. I couldn't be prouder of where they are ending the season for him. Imma need more therapy though in S7 you hear me writers?

Tim thanking Lucy for extending him the kindness she has shown him. *my damn heart.* That he can never explain how much he appreciates it. That she could've easily turned on him and he would've understood. But that's not Lucy. We all know that's not who she is. Or ever will be. It's that forgiving nature of her's that is one of the many reasons Tim is so damn gone for her. I think there is once again a double meaning to his words. To me Tim is saying this is for far more than just post break up. It's for their entire relationship. Together/apart and especially when they were not 1-4. The kindness and the empathy she's aways shown him. Even at his worst.

Like I said earlier it's all hitting him hard. The place she held in his life for so long and the impact she's had on him. Imma cry. A giant epiphany moment for Tim I think. Maybe starting to slowly understand the unconditional love she has for him. This scene made me tear up. That anger that is still present melts away a little more for Lucy. If she continues to see Tim work on himself. He shows her his continued growth. No reason she wouldn't take this man back when he's put in the work to re-earn that place in her life. Tim saying he's gonna spend rest of his life repaying her back for said kindness. *screams into the void.* In whatever small doses she allows of course.

Respecting her boundaries and hoping she will allow him to do so. It's the sweetest most sincere part of his apology. The way she looks at him as he departs. *heart clutch* You can see he's stunned her into silence. But also Lucy can see the growth in him and it’s written all over her face. This is a fantastic way to end the season for them. It wouldn’t be right to get back together right now or even just a 'we almost died' hook up. (Wonderful fic's out there for that just recently BTW.) Just wouldn’t. As much as my shipper soul LONGS for them to be back together. Legit longs so much it hurts. This was a good way to end them for the season. With some hope, some growth and a path forward leading us to S7.

I don't think for one second that moment in the elevator is the last deep conversation they're going to have before we get a reconciliation. Tim has her love. Always has. Always will.

Lucy's decisions and responses in 6x10 show that. No matter what she loves this man. What he needs to gain back is her trust. To prove over and over again. He's there to stay. To show her through kind acts. To rebuild his rapport with her. I’m excited for that journey cause when we get there. *phew* God the fandom is gonna implode with happiness. It’ll be well earned. Their relationship is going to be even better with the growth Tim has done. (Hoping for some more for Lucy as well and getting the support she needs/deserves)We saw massive results in this episode alone. Then we can start that journey for us all to go on with my deeper analysis.

finally we got our lover boy here. its not a secret that he like gets super easily attached. i kind of hate that they patched that out bcz it fit his character so much. but yeah in my mind its canon he gets attached suppperrr easily also kind of the type of guy to love bomb tav. not in the manipulative way tho like he genuinely thinks hes in love.

First of all, the reason it took me so long to put this out was bc I was trying to find good shots of their outfits and I simply couldn't except for Remus. Theoretically they all wear pants. I swear we've gotten good shots of them, I just can't find them anywhere so if anyone wants to help a guy out and send some my way, thanks in advance.

Just put him in a whole ass button up and some slacks and nice shoes, keep the tie, he doesn’t need a full suit, but if he’s trying to look professional, that’s literally what district managers and office workers wear, it would do. Now, if he did some character development and wanted to express his interests via clothing, we could throw in a lab coat or maybe a heavy duty apron. If he wanted to be more casual, you know he’s wearing a NASA bomber and star patterned converse but he also definitely put the stars and such on there himself. Space nerd has to have a favorite galaxy he could map out.

He’s not giving enough. He could be giving so much more. He’s Creativity and he is extra as hell, you’re telling me he couldn’t be MORE extravagant? Where are the furs? The cape? The crown? I don’t think you can get any more Catholic guilt than that look so potential is met. Unfortunately the only thing he’s serving is church dad who cries himself to sleep next to his wife that he never has sex with because he’s gay but scared to admit it. She loves him but knows there’s something missing and resents him for it. They still have two and a half kids as is standard. Their picket fence is white. He’s living in suburban purgatory. I think we could have went harder into a subculture. Emo/punk and he doesn’t even paint his nails or wear a choker. What a fucking poser. The patches on the sweatshirt and holes in his T are good, though. He could also probably do with piercings and more make up. I do love that as a collective the fandom decided to have him keep the purple hair bc that really did him some good. I understand it's annoying to put chalk or wax in your hair every time to play him, but it would get him another point in the potential category. I just want him to look cool.

Serving- Dark sides know how to serve a look. If you’re going to be morally neutral/grey you have to make up for it by being hot. They don’t make the rules but the rules were definitely made for them.

Personality- I know exactly who he is by looking at him: A fucking dork. I love my dork ass wife.

Potential- There’s always room for improvement. Namely a yellow ribbon strip on the hat. I know in my heart of hearts that it’s there, but my eyes betray me.

idek if I’d say the cape is an improvement, I think they were right not to include it because it doesn’t really add anything to the way he’s been portrayed. Though I would love to see an occasion where he can play around with the cape because I love capes. I just feel like a variation of landsknecht would have served him well. Maybe paned slops. Pumpkin breeches. Do you see the vision? He just needs some slutty little booty shorts to amp up the bottom energy, and he already has the sleeve design to go with it.

Look, he’s not even my boy, but I’m going to defend Patton on this one. What else could we possibly do here? (I’m serious, please tell me, I want to hear about your Patton designs.) He’s just you’re emotionally repressed dad! Not MY emotionally repressed dad, for certain, mine wears Hawaiian shirts, Bermuda shorts, and crocs, but SOMEBODY’s emotionally repressed church dad. Probably. Maybe.

He’s not SUPPOSED to be all ‘it’s called fashion, sweaty’ because he’s just a guy! A very normal, boring guy! That’s part of his whole thing! He’s church dad! And his outfit shows it! Anyway, sorry Patton. I didn’t mean to expose you to this kind of outfit negativity. (This portion is mostly a joke. Idc if you think his outfit sucks. It does, that just happens to be in character which makes it technically not suck in my opinion.)

Maybe now that Janus has his hands on him Patton's fashion sense will improve. Light sides just don't do it like the dark sides.

How I feel about this character

I am a card-carrying member of the Wei Wuxian Protection Squad. He's such a selfless hero that it becomes a major character flaw. He would literally give his everything if it meant to save someone he believes is worth saving. But I'm sure he's aware of how sacrificial he is and he is just ok with it. I love that he is so intelligent and cunning. He's knowledgeable without it being his whole personality. He's kind, funny, and charming but such a magnet for bad shit. I think he's a spectacular character who has so much to offer but also thinks so little of himself at times. I would love to be one of the people in his corner fighting with him and for him because he was really treated like crap by damn near everyone around him.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Wangji of course because that's his husband. I love that Wangji makes it his mission to protect and take care of Wuxian because Wuxian takes care of and protects everyone else. I love that Wangji took that time apart from Wuxian to grow and learn from his mistakes. He would do anything to take care of Wuxian.

But also maybe MianMian. I think he would've been cute af with MianMian and she was one of the few people who actually believed in his innocence the entire series. She was kind and smart and pretty and brave. She stood on business.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Wen Ning and Wen Qing, please he fits so well with them and they definitely took care of Wuxian like a sibling. They were loyal to each other til the end. Nie Huaisang, specifically when they were teenagers, they both seemed to crave mischief and I love watching them bond over how boring their training was. Huaisang was always down for some shenanigans with his bestie Wuxian. Also he did resurrect Wuxian.

My unpopular opinion about this character

I think he should've let all those assholes die up on his mountain. They literally went up that mountain to kill him over some "he-said-she-said" bullshit. He had every single right to be as petty as he wanted to be. He should've escorted those kids, Wen Ning, and Wangji right down that hill and left the rest of those ungrateful jerks up there with the killer zombie puppets. I wish that Wuxian had learned to be a bit more selfish, his heroics were inspiring but also so damn infuriating. He had his husband STRESSED out.

Also idk if it is unpopular on not but Wuxian in his full blown Yiling Laozu era was my favorite Wuxian. That dark energy turned him into such a cutthroat savage. He was absolutely unhinged and badass and I LOVED it.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I know they had to cut out a bunch of crap in the series but I wish they had managed to fit in the part in the novel when Wuxian was present at whatever that luncheon Uncle Lan Qiren put on. The little extra excerpt when they was only serving like bitter medicinal type soup and Wangji ate it all for him and then they went back to the jingshi where I think Wangji cooked him a meal. Also NO ONE WHO DIDN'T READ THE NOVEL DOESN'T KNOW THAT WANGJI IS A GOOD COOK!

MY FAVORITE TINTIN SIDE CHARACTERS

ARRGRGWHDHEH I'M VERY VERY PROUD OF THIS I'M NGL!!!!!!! I LOVE THE WAY I COLORED THE CHARACTERS, I LOVE THE POSES I DREW THEM IN, I MADE SOME DECENT COMPOSITION IN THIS ONE!!!! HATE THE EDITING I DID I FUCKING SUCK AT EDITING

Anyway, I'm going to ramble about these guys and you can't leave until I'm done ok? Ok.

First of all, MY BOY MY SON MY PERSONAL LITTLE DEMON, ABDULLAH!!!!!!! he is very endearing to me!!! But I really do wish we could've seen more of him!!!! He looks mischievous enough to sneak on adventures along with the marlinspike crew himself for shits and giggles!!!!! HIM AND HIS DAD'S DYNAMIC IN LAND OF BLACK GOLD IS MY FAVORITE IT MAKES ME SO GIDDY AND HAPPY. like no matter how obnoxious and annoying Abdullah's pranks can become, his dad will forever love him unconditionally. MY FAVORITE DYNAMIC. I MISS THEM SO MUCH.

A little note, even though a lot of poc representation in tintin is pretty influenced by the stereotypes of the time, and a bit of orientalism, tintin and the land of black gold is also the first time in my childhood where the words "assalamualaikum" Was muttered in any piece of animated media. It definitely wasn't perfect, but that was important to me as a Muslim child. Maybe that's why Abdullah and his dad hold a special place in my heart!

Next up we've got ARREGEHFHFHHGHJ!!!!!!! CHANG!!!!!!! MY FRIEND FROM SCHOOL WHO HELPED END A CRIME RING IN SHANGHAI!!!!!!! I adore him and his personality so much!!!! HE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS AS A KID AND HE STILL IS TODAY WHEN I REWATCH BLUE LOTUS!!!!!!!! The way that the moment he was saved by Tintin in that flood he pledged his undying loyalty to Tintin will never not be sweet to me. HE IS SO TALENTED AND CUNNING, HE SAVED TINTIN FROM CERTAIN DOOM MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE LITTLE TIME THEY'VE SPENT TOGETHER, AND IN TINTIN IN TIBET, TINTIN SAVES HIM ONCE AGAIN (Tintin in tibet is also a very memorable and special episode for me) AND JUST-- ARGEHDBEHF I CAN CONTINUE ON AND ON ABOUT HOW CHANG SHOULDVE BEEN INCLUDED IN MORE ADVENTURES!!!!! actually Tintin has TONS OF CHARACTERS who should have been given more important roles in a lot of different stories!!!! Idk maybe that's just a wish that will never be fulfilled.... Still I can dream!

And last but DEFINITELY not least... THE MILANESE NIGHTINGALE HERSELF, BIANCA CASTAFIORE!!!!!!!!!!!! AGHHDHEHFHJDHV MY GORGEOUS MY BEAUTIFUL MY LOVE MY EVERYTHING I MISS HER SO MUCH

SHE WAS A HIGHLIGHT FOR ME!!!!!! AND SHE IS VERY UNDERRATED!!!! I love seeing how much she treasures her friends, how she's so dramatic about everything, how she has such an unapologetically loud and large presence and personality everywhere she goes, how she is genuinely passionate about her singing and her art, how she clearly knows her worth and won't settle for less from anyone.

Every time she was on screen she always made me feel very happy and warm inside, also I really like her voice!!!!!

AND HER DESIGN!!!!! ARRRGHWHFHH HER DESIGN!!!

I'm ngl, she was the hardest for me to draw. But at the end I'm quite satisfied with the results!!!!

She would be such an amazing friend. SHE'S ALWAYS BRINGING GIFTS AND BEING CONSIDERATE WITH HER FRIENDS, AND SHE WOULD NEVER HIDE JUST HOW MUCH PEOPLE MEAN TO HER

PLEEEEASEEEE CASTAFIORE I MISS YOU SO MUCH GIRLFRIEND COME BACK TO ME-

Anyway, the last picture is how I'd imagine Chang and Castafiore's first meeting would go. She as always, acts as sweet and polite and extra af as she always does, let's Chang know that Tintin's talked a lot about him! And then she would bring out some biscuits and pastries she bought as a gift for everyone, and then she and Chang would sit together while eating, and they get along really well, CHANG HAS A WICKED SENSE OF HUMOR THAT CASTAFIORE CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF, (haddock would be completely dumbfounded with how good at talking to Castafiore Chang is, and how anyone could talk to her for so long) but little did haddock know, in their conversations, Castafiore does a whole lot more listening than speaking, especially when Chang starts to tell his back story, and all the things that have happened to him and Tintin. After Chang ends his story, he looks up at her after a while of being lost in his story, and mascara is dripping down her face silently, her mouth is agape, and for a few moments couldn't say anything.

Suddenly she burst out loud, pulled Chang into a hug, and sobs after listening to the horrors this sweet kid has gone through.

In over a few hours she seems to have grown a strong attachment to this kid, she'll probably send a package filled with gifts a few months later, along with a long letter talking about what she's been up to and her wishes that Chang will succeed with anything he's currently busy with, and that he shall take care of himself well.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the small character appreciation I was able to share for some obscure/underrated characters! And that they will occupy your mind just for a little while. I love these three so much, tintin shaped me as a person, tintin made my childhood, I hope you have a great day.
