even after all these years the gang learning about noahs ghostliness is so funny to me. like obviously they are freaked out that their friend is dead and was murdered. but no one is having a revelation about ghosts being real its not even mentioned. its like yea yea we all accept the existence of ghosts. back to the one living in our apartment.

you know the more i think about the events of season eight from sam's perspective the more i think. yeah id want to kill myself too

#like coming from being dropped into grief -> losing the foundation you were building very slowly and painfully #-> dropped right into hatred and disbelief -> some semblance of hypocrisy that he also didn't have any right feeling but Felt anyway #because of how close to home it hit (amy‚ his own blood sucking) -> pissing off your Father Figure quote unquote in the afterlife #-> the whole thing about leaving benny in purgatory after dean's valued benny's life openly in front of you #and trying to compartmentalise benny's wishes and body language #-> and the constant undercurrent emotional abuse (dean going from this opague hatred of sam's decisions right into some kind of #weird distrust of sam as a fragile thing that has sam questioning the grounds of their relationship as he jumps between faithfulness #and faithlessness‚ a lot of the former being expressed outwards towards third party relationships)#how the fuck do you deal with ANY of that??#like dean sets the standards of their relationship yes #but what do you do when these standards are all unclear and unknown and changing constantly because of dean's current emotional volatility??#sam winchester #&

#He’d be a priest in a small Russian villiage #Very religious place #He himself was raised and still is very devout #He’s incredibly smart but never got any education after high school #(a mix of his family probably never went to university+he already had his sights set on becoming a priest)#and despite him believing in his role/job in his village he still finds life mind numbingly boring and repetitive #(he just isn’t getting the mental stimulation he needs in such a boring and small place)#Starts questioning wether he made the right decision and having such extreme and blasphemous thoughts as taking a break moving out and #Getting a degree……….. shocking #He’s also gay. so I've been watching the KH Union Cross stuff (in order, thank goodness, this would be so confusing to piece together otherwise), and like, I knew enough about UX that the appearance of the foretellers at the end of KH3 wasn't confusing bc I knew who they all were, but getting the expanded, explained lore and I'm like okay, actually these weirdos in animal masks are pretty cool, glad to know they'll show up (presumably) in future games

also I'm glad that memorizing the Latin names for the seven deadly sins is finally paying off

#I'm still going to have to comb the wiki or something later to figure out some lingering questions #which I probably still have bc I got a condensed version of all the games for just the story content #so any weird bits of minor worldbuilding that occur due to like gameplay stuff I'd totally miss out on #or I just simply Don't Remember what something was when it was explained bc I was distracted by the outfit designs or something #(I am so distracted by character designs all the time and KH outfits are off-the-wall distracting)#but like overall actually the UX stuff is very interesting!#love to see that lack of communication and poor decision making is not just limited to the old men of the series #(except Merlin he's fine actually he's the only old man who does not seem to make poor life choices)#like wow so many issues might have been avoided if decisions were made differently #which I mean the story works great bc the tragedy is knowing that things could have been better but would never be #bc the characters wouldn't have made the decisions differently bc of their characterization #and UX being Oops All Prequels means it was fated to be tragic in some way or another bc like #you do not get the setting of KH w/out the tragedy of the first Keyblad War (and possibly other things?)#so like I'm fine with the characters making poor decisions bc it makes a good story but also Hot Damn #KH is just generations of mistakes and poor life decisions #and the kids are actually really doing their best at every turn even if they're against the absolute worst odds #and still the theme of the power of friendships persists...absolutely excellent #oracle of lore

#book club #the question #vic sage #dc comics #comics #myra connolly #myra fermin #one of my favorite scenes in the series #i think the points where vic grapples with murder are so important #you can see how much he's already grown since the 60s thing #even when he saved those guys earlier in this issue from burning to death in a room #his ENEMIES #ditko sage would have let them burn no doubt #it's just so fascinating seeing the change. and how it isn't an easy decision.#and then of course myra being amazing #we as the audience already know how much she cares about her child but at this point vic had some baggage to work through with it all #i dont think he blames her for doing that #anyway ummm comparing this to the first time he directly takes a life in the quarterlies. also to protect jackie.#he wants to see that girl grow up happy and loved and not in danger #i think he sees himself when he sees her in a way. especially with her temporarily living in the same orphanage he grew up in #and her fate..... :( well... yeag.

The way i see it, Just t *owes* me his suffering for what he did to Zuko and accidentally killing Shen. I'm fragioe with MY babies. Jet is the bastard that hurt them, so i want to see him writhe in pain

After his suffering he can apply to become my dear baby but only if he stops trying to get zuko killed (bc I'm not sure he'll backtrack all his dying progress when he realizes zuko didn't actually die and sokka is still happily with his boyfriend lol). Alternately, even if he's still awful but powerless against zuko, AND he starts the domino effect towards zuko and sokka being able to openly be together? I can forgive his entire existence

So you see, I'm very soft and malleable. I just require a bit of suffering to forgive

Jet felt like he was backed into a corner, and you never corner a wild animal. (Yes we could argue he is a human not an animal but Jet doesn’t always live up to the human being standard so wild animal it is)

He reacted from his own trauma and did what he thought was best, no it wasn’t good, but he tried. In all fairness he didn’t think through the fallout of his letter… oh well, you are correct Shen did die & Zuko was delivered almost dead so yeah you’re right.

Oh Jet is suffering haha & will continue to suffer but it’s hard to say what his reaction to Zuko being a live will be lol. We’ll see…. :D
