Trying to shake my brain into letting me paint what I'm supposed to be painting resulted in a completely different thing getting finished first
I still don't understand what the hell his face is doing

So I'm now onto my fourth warframe and I have some thoughts. Probably not consteuctive thoughts, but hey its my blog and I get to choose the rambles.
So first up was Volt. Honestly, I felt a tad chested w/ Volt. I thought he was gonna be more of a powerhouse. Set a good precedent though, it made me really eager to get a new frame, any frame. I should've picked Mag
Next up was Hydroid. Now, I bought Hydroid. Maybe not the best use of my money, as it turns out I could've just farmed him out on Earth but hey. Hydroid is my favorite frame so far. He's a brick house, and doesn't do any of the "precision strike" garbage. Its all AoE all the time, and he's a CC-chaining behemoth. Tbh he will probably be my main for the forseeable future. He's already capped too.
The first frame I farmed out and built was Gara. I'd actually been eyeing Gara for a while, since right after I decided "Nope, Volt is not for me" I went into the Wiki to find some prospective replacements. Farming for Gara was a nightmare, but I blame blind persistence for that one, versus just letting myself derail long enough to get properly equipped to be clearing waves on the plains. Gara... Has been a slight disappointment so far. None of the abilities work quite how I expected them to, and that's my own fault. I'll keep working with her and see if I can find a rhythm, but having no room for mods is a killer.
The fourth frame I got was Nyx. She actually just completed, like, half an hour ago. Impressions after my first mission (which I failed, cause I'm trash at Spy) is... Squishy, but for a good reason. I'll need to adjust my loadout if I want to use her for more than tagging along on Fissures. But I think I plan to. I like her so far.
In general, I think a few frames could probably stand to work on their first ability being more iconic than anything. Since you've got to run at least for a little while with only the one ability, it should be engaging alone. Failing to do so is a disservice to your players. That's my take at least.
