heard it was friday the 13th! here’s anti-kira :) the anti fairywinkle-anti-cosma family’s head butler. the opposite of his fairy counterpart, anti-kira is quiet, obedient, and doesn’t want to question any sort of authority over him by his lord — no matter how absurd they may be (well, anti-fairy world is a lawless land, so it's not like there's anything revolutionary he needs to be fighting for...)

like kira was to peri when he was a kid, anti-kira was some sort of babysitter for irep, though he’s more like an annoying older advisor instead of a quirky mentor like kira. like peri to kira, irep doesn’t like him. the reason's the opposite of peri’s — he’s a worrywart that fusses over irep’s wellbeing and disaster scenarios to the point it gets aggravating. coupled with his obedient nature, if not standing besides anti-cosmo, anti-kira is constantly seen running around the castle doing tasks, usually for his lord's evil, world domination plans.

thinking about how zack was such a fighty angry kid at first in crisis core, and how he learned to bottle it all up because nobody took his feelings seriously.

i bet zack died on that cliff resentful and enraged and covering it up with a thin layer of heroic cheer, just like he always has.

he was so close. he was so tired. he tried to be a hero and it turned him into a monster instead, slaughtering hundreds and hundreds of infantrymen, all to protect just one. and it didn't even matter because they still won. shinra still fucking won.

zack lost his entire sense of self and identity to SOLDIER and shinra, and now they're taking his life too, right when he was this close. not just to physical freedom, but mental freedom too. and he copes with the indignation the same way he always has: he's so Nice about it.

and so he dies as a friendly nobody, instead of what he really was deep down: a scared, angry, exhausted kid.

I'm so sorry for disappearing everyone, Milou having an anaphylactic reaction to an unknown allergen last summer really triggered my trauma response and basically, I've been crawling back up from the depths of shitty mental health since then. I had entire posts planned to talk about his birthday (July 9th) and his gotcha day ( September 23rd) and I did do fun events with him like doggy ice cream and special one time treats! And I kept putting off posting in here cuz I didn't want to do just random posts until I did those, but at this point I'm just... huuu life is a lot rn so please just take these photos of him!
