Listen I’ve watched the og Mario show, it was fire ngl and thganes are fantastic obvi. I have also played a lot of Sonic and while the quality of his games are more below par in comparison to Mario’s they still have such a good charm to them.

The difference between Mario fans and Sonic fans is that Mario fans think Mario is better and Sonic is annoying, cringey, and lame. While Sonic fans love Sonic for being cool, having a few good games, and being a lil skrunkle. However, I have never met a sonic fan that hates or thinks Mario is bad. This is probably due to Mario games being super fun and good but I think Mario fans get a lil elitist with their mans.

Additionally while I LOVE the Mario franchise, Marios personality feels so blank to me. He feels like the basic outline for a hero in any medium but other mc hero’s get fleshed out later in the creative process, while Mario kinda just stayed as the outline.

Sonic is cool, likes to skateboard, loves chili dogs, is an environmentalist, thinks everyone deserves freedom, like video games, etc. he has so much personality and it’s amazing. While being the most cliche cool guy the creators (a bunch of adults) actually managed to make sonic cool to younger people which is impressive.

The difference between Sonic and Mario is that Mario has good games but not much personality and it’s harder to get attached to him. While sonic games are kinda mediocre, but make sonic and co. very enjoyable and are easy to get attached or relate to.

Just wanted to air out some thoughts, let me know what y’all think in the comments!

His main goal in life (aside from making an ungodly amount of mechs/guns) is to dissapoint wu as much as possible. Petty bitch.
