Ok let’s break it down shall we:
In season 4-5 I could already see the shipping potential with the concept of an angel pulling a faithless man out of hell, and said angel who is a robotic soldier suddenly starts to feel emotion after interacting more and more with said man.
Insane foundation already but I did think of how castiel seemed to already have a fascination with humanity after I saw his chat with uriel at the park where he tells dean that not only does he think all humans are works of art but that he already has doubts in heaven and in his absent father. Dean IS the one to inspire him to ultimately rebel and discover free will but I could excuse it as mainly a personal journey that you could certainly just say is a budding friendship. Setting aside the fact that they would constantly look at each other for long moments in a really charged way (for castiel I could say he’s a cosmic being that is unfamiliar with social norms or human emotion so staring intensely can be a byproduct of that but I don’t have an excuse for dean’s reactions to it, you can tell he wants to be threatened but my guy looked enraptured, if not ignited by it)
It wasn’t until season 6 and the episode The Man Who Would Be King that the “oh they’re so gay” hit me.
You’re telling me that this angel has been around for eons, witnessed the creation of everything on earth and observed it’s many big events, but did not start to feel emotion or act out until he met dean?? And he champions dean’s mission of free will even when he doesn’t fully understand it himself when the other angels ask him. I can say this is still apart of his personal journey but at this point I cannot deny that dean is the one that really spearheaded it forward. He starts a whole war in heaven so that he can maintain dean’s mission and so that his sacrifice (his brother) was not for nothing. The fact that cas’ bad decisions were all based on the fact that he just didn’t want Dean to be involved because he was finally retired and at peace so he had no one else to turn to except crowley. He really cares about dean’s happiness THAT much, that is a mighty intense feeling to have for someone to me.
Then they emphasize the fact that dean is the one who feels the most betrayed by cas after struggling to even accept it in the first place. There’s a lot of intensity within the dialogue in the scene they confront him about it, and they’re sure to give me a close up on only dean to make sure I know how he feels about it. The eye contact in that scene really goes crazy because there was so much there on a deeper level, It was like you could see how they both realized the betrayal was breaking the trust between them but they were still wanting to hang on to that connection because it was something they both cherished, the way dean looked back before leaving? Insane.
That episode was the main hit for me, but it was largely mainly on castiel’s end. The main hit from dean’s end for me was when I saw the purgatory flashbacks in season 8.
In season 7 it seemed to me that dean was very effected by cas’ death and handled it in the classic dean winchester way of internalizing it all, but we get lines here and there about how bothered he is by it whenever his concerning behavior is somewhat addressed. Before Cas even had a chance to redeem himself after what he did, Dean seems to have already forgiven him, defending him once cas re-gains his lost memory and says he deserved to die. This showed me that the connection they had meant as much to dean as it did to cas.
And he really shows how much it means to him with how he fights tooth and nail to get cas out of purgatory. Cas literally disappeared once they got there, making it look like he abandoned dean, and then actively ran away from dean because he thought he belonged there. Yet dean was so insane that he hunted down cas’ location, caught up with him and dragged him to that portal. He literally had a way out that he chose to ignore until he found castiel, and was willing to die to get him out. Dean very desperately wants cas to be around when he gets out, he did not like how it felt when he previously wasn’t. Again, that is a mighty intense feeling to have for someone to me. Especially with how his memory literally changed what happened because he couldn’t handle that cas was left behind??
I do think a big part of this storyline is showing how dean thinks everything and everyone is his responsibility because of the way he was raised by his father as a hunter and protector. But we’ve seen this in dean since the beginning, while not fully addressed until now, it’s not new, so the fact that they used castiel to further show this side of him is very insane. Leaving Cas in purgatory would effect nobody on the outside except Dean, Dean made it his personal mission to get that angel out even after everything he had done, and that level of intensity was another major hit on the Destiel train for me. That and the gay ass reaction dean had when cas walked out of the bathroom when he got back from purgatory???
anyway, I’m only on episode 8 of season 8 rn so that’s all I’ve seen so far.
y’all I am so sorry for years I assumed that gay ship in supernatural was just a delusion that people overanalyzed and claimed queerbait for no reason cuz I’ve seen that happen a million times but now that I’m actually watching the show they really were gay as fuck LMAOOOO

Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Within the frozen tundra stood a small flag, it's red cloth gentle waved in the cool, Atllas air. Around the flag it was peace, it was silent, it was tranquility incarnate. A tranquility that ended in a plume of fire, and metal shrapnel.
The peace of the frozen tundra had ended. The peace ending with the deafening cries of war.
The gun's of, Mantle were ready.
~~~
: Direct hit!
Jaune watched through his binocs as the red flag they had planted in the frozen fields of, Atlas evaporate into a plume of fire, smoke, and snow. Jaune put down the binocs, and turned to look at the newly promoted, Colonel Kian, shouted triumphantly as the howitzers hit their intended target dead on.
Colonel Alden Kian, in charge of all the newly built artillery batteries, and weapon emplacements upon, Mantle's walls. Jaune liked to think he developed a good relationship among fellow officers, even if, Jaune really felt like one.
Col. Kian: And, with that, all weapon emplacements have been built, and properly calibrated.
Jaune: Well done, Col. Kian, and to you as well, Maj. Skender. The forces under your command managed to compete the wall, ahead of schedule at that.
Maj. Skender: Thanks, Jaune, Yeah, I'm glad we listened to your suggestions. Honestly, I'm surprised that we got this done far sooner than we expected.
Jaune: It was just a suggestion, Felix. I will tank none of the credit, it was all you, and your men's work that finished the walls ahead of schedule.
: A duty well done at that.
Jaune, Maj. Skender, and Col. Kian all turned to see, General Ironwood as well as, Specialist Schnee approaching them. The trio as well as any other soldiers on the wall saluted the, General as he walked upon the ramparts.
Ironwood: Well done, Maj. Skendor, thanks to your efforts, the new fortifications for the walls of, Mantle have finished well ahead of schedule. With that in mind, how soon can your forces return to building the new, CCTS?
Maj. Skender: Uhhh... We should be able to start in a we...?
Skender was about to answer, General Ironwood, but he saw, Jaune holding up a single finger, giving him a clear sign of what he had to say.
Maj. Skender: In a day, Sir. We just need to reorganize, and require all of the necessary equipment. This should take no longer than a day, day, and a half tops.
Ironwood: Oh, that's good! That's very good to hear, Major, I look forward to hearing your progress in the coming days.
General Ironwood then made his way to leave. As, Jaune watched him leave, his eyes locked on with, Winter's, who shot him a wink as she left. Jaune watched them until he was out of earshot where he let out a tired sigh, followed by several others. But, most noticeable, Major. Skender was cursing up a storm.
Maj. Skender: Gods fucking dammit, Jaune! It going to take me at least a week to grab all of our gear to start working on, Ironwood's pet project! Why the hell did you tell me to speed things up?!
Jaune: Because, General Ironwood wasn't her to celebrate the walls completion, he was here to make sure you got back to work on his stupid project. Besides you just need to divide your forces; half starts working on the CCTS, the other gets your gear.
Col. Kian: He's right, Felix. The generals sole focus was on his project, he doesn't give a damn about the wall. If it wasn't for, Jaune donating his winnings, it never would have been built!
Maj. Skender: I know that! I'm just blaming him for all the shit they're going to give me now!
Jaune: Wait, hold on. Why are you saying I'm the one donated the funds, the winner of that game donated the funds.
Col. Kain: Yeah, but everyone knows you're the one who managed to convince, General Ironwood, and you're the one whose been presenting, Robyn Hill as the one who really got this thing going, but everyone in the, Engineer Corp, and the Gunnery Crews know it was you.
Maj. Skender: Yeah, this was the first time, General Ironwood ever showed his face around here. He only agreed to this thing as a PR stunt. He's only focused on his stupid 'secret project.' You're the only one in the upper brass that gives a rats ass about the wall, and Mantle.
Jaune: ...
Jaune: Okay, it wasn't my idea, I got the idea from, Robyn Hill. But, how the hell did you even know I was the one who donated the funds for the wall?
Col. Klen: My wife is a secretary, and secretaries like to gossip. One of them heard the donation was from one of the, Specialist, and that, Specialist also convinced, General Ironwood to build the fortifications on the wall. And, since you're the only, Specialist who's shown to give a damn about the wall. It's gotta be you.
Jaune: ...
Jaune: Haa...
Jaune: Does everyone know it was me?!
Jaune looked around, and saw several of the gunnery, and engineers all nodding their head, and making sounds of agreement. Jaune just slapped a hand to his face as a tired groan escaped his lips.
Jaune: Gods dammit...
Jaune: If the secretaries know it was me, everyone in the whole of, Atlas, and Mantle probably know it was me.
Maj. Skender: Yeah.
Col. Klen: Pretty much.
Jaune: Haa... Do you know any of my other secrets?
Col. Klen: You, and, Specialist Schnee are a thing... of some sorts.
Maj. Skender: Rumors say, Robyn Hill has got a thing for you, since you saved her from that assassin fellow.
Jaune stared at the two officers, his face was a blank, the only thing showing any emotion was the way his eye was twitching aggressively.
Jaune: ...
Jaune: FUCKKKK!?!
SK: ...
Col. Klen: I hope he, and Specialist Schnee become a thing... They look good together.
Maj. Skender: Wife is rooting for him, and Robyn Hill. She thinks they look cute together.
Col. Klen: They do look cute together.
Jaune: Shut up!
SK: Sorry, Sir!
~~~
Robyn: Wait... Members of the, Atlas military know about your thing with, Winter Schnee, and about our thing too?
Jaune: Yes, it seems the well kept secret wasn't that well kept enough!
Robyn: It was a secret?
Jaune: Not anymore, because secretaries like to gossip! And, the blooming romances between a pair of, Specialists, and a Specialists, and a politician seems to be todays latest hot topic!
Robyn: Oh, is that so?
Robyn: ...
Robyn: Am I winning?
Jaune just stopped to stare at, Robyn, giving her a blank stare as she cheekily smiled back at him.
Jaune: I liked you better when you were this cold, politician who hated me because I was a, Specialist working for, General Ironwood. Not this cute, blushing, teasing girl from a high school romcom!
Robyn: You think I'm cute~?
Jaune: Shut up!
Jaune sighed in defeat as, Robyn was laughing at his expense. He decided it would be for the best if to change the topic back to what he had originally came here to inform her about.
Jaune: Ahem! Anyway, I am here to inform you that the wall's fortifications have been finished, and we will be going back to work on, General Ironwood's secret project. And, with that, the elections for a new council member will be held in just over a week. So, are you ready, 'Councilwoman' Robyn Hill?
Robyn: I am most looking forward to it! The polls that have been going around saying that I am a sure in to win the election! Hey, Jaune?
Jaune: Hmm?
Robyn: You'll keep your promise; you'll tell me what, General Ironwood's secret project is if I win, right?
Jaune: Unless by some miracle he tells you himself, I'll keep my word, Robyn, and I'll tell you what he's up to.
Robyn: I'll hold you to that, Jaune. Well, I still got to keep my guard up, just because their already setting up the voting booths doesn't mean I've already won.
Jaune: Voting booths? Why do they need to set them up, they're just boxes you put paper into.
Robyn: They're electronic, it takes them a few days to take them out, and set them up.
Jaune was walking about, his mind running with ideas on how, Robyn could challenge, Ironwood's authority. But, all these thoughts were brought to a screeching halt when, Robyn said that one word.
Jaune: They're electronic? The voting boots are electronic?
Robyn: Yeah, been that way for years.
Jaune: Do you know where they keep these voting booths?
Robyn: Not originally, but I do know they set them up at one of the community halls near here.
Jaune: If you'll excuse me, Miss Hill.
Jaune quickly turned, and made his way out of the, Happy Huntresses Headquarters.
Robyn: Wha...? Jaune, where are you going?
Jaune: To win you this election.
~~~
Community Hall #7. Aka, the Dust Miners Den.
Jaune had entered the community hall flashing his credentials as a, Specialist to gain entry. And, now he was, what one would call interrogate one of the technicians, grilling him on all of the operating's of the voting booths.
Jaune: Tell me, Jirina, how do this machine operate.
Jirina, a olive haired snake faunas, if one could assume so based on the scales on her forehead, and slit yellow eyes was fidgeting around nervously. It was understandable reactions, it should be expected when one of, Atlas's Specialist suddenly showed up, and demanded how to do their job.
Jirina: W-Well... The system works by simply tapping a name on the screen, thus counting this as a vote. That vote then gets sent to a datahub where the votes are all tallied up.
Jaune: The machine says, 'Yes,' and 'No.' You're not putting in the names of the electoral candidates until the day of the election?
Jirina: Yes, this prevents cheating.
Jaune: 'Prevents cheating?'
Jaune moved over, and tapped the yes button on the screen. It closed out, and a popup appeared saying, 'Thank you for voting,' then another screen appeared saying waiting for election official to reset.
Jaune: You have to reset it every time someone votes?
Jirina: Yes. After everyone votes, we, the voting regulators, have to swipe our id cards, and input a eight digit code to reset the machine.
As, Jirina did just as she said when she reset the machine, taking her no more than ten seconds.
Jaune: Interesting... Are you capable of knowing how many voted, and who they voted for on your tablet there?
Jirina: Ahh yes... See?
Jirina handed, Jaune her tablet, and he saw on the tablet a total amount of votes, five, and there was, two votes for, 'Yes,' and three for, 'No.'
Jaune: Are these numbers for each of the machines here?
Jirina: Yes, we have four voting booths here, and we 'vote' at least once on each machine to test them.
Jaune: And, all of the information of the votes is sent to a central hub that tallies up the votes, the location, and other such things?
Jirina: Yes, that is how it acts.
Jaune: So that's how he could do it...
Jirina: Do... do what?
Jaune: Nothing that you need concern yourself with, Ma'am.
Jaune was still looking at the screen on the tablet, when he heard the door open behind him. He turned to face them, as he saw someone enter the room. One, Penny Polendina to be precise.
Jaune: Ahh, Penny you made good time getting here.
Penny: It didn't take me long to get here. Now, you asked for my help?
Jaune: Yes I did; See this electronic voting booth here?
Penny: I can. But, why do you want me to do that?
Jaune: I want to see if it can be done, and if you can, what else you can do.
Penny: Okay.
Jirina: Wait, you can't hack these systems; They have been given advance firewalls, and cybersecurity to prevent such things fro...?!
Penny: I've hack the voting booth.
Jirina: W-What?
Jaune: That didn't even take you thirty seconds; Impressive. Now then can you change the text on the screen for who you can vote for?
Penny: Can I change it. Wat do you want me to make it say?
Jaune: It doesn't matter, I mostly want to see if you can.
Penny: Okay. I've changed it.
Jaune: Okay let's...
Jaune looked at the voting booth, the screen now read, 'I'm sorry for.' and 'forgetting you, Jaune.' He stared at the screen for a moment before hitting the one that said sorry, and then the reset banner appeared.
Jaune: Penny can you reset the machine?
Penny reset it in a flash, only this time it read, 'I had a virus,' and 'It was making me forget.' Jaune looked at the screen, then to the tablet in his hand.
Jaune: There are six votes in total, evenly split, can you make it five to one?
Penny: Okay.
Jaune watched as, Penny reset the votes were five to one. Jaune watch it, and as the voting was rewritten as, 'I'm sorry, Jaune,' and 'Can you please forgive me.'
Jaune watched this all happen as he handed the tablet back to, Jirina.
Jaune: Thank you for your time, Jirina. Penny, let's go. I need to have a word with, General Ironwood, and I need you there with me.
Penny: O-Okay, Jaune...
~~~
Ironwood: The voting booths can be hacked?
Jaune: Yes, Sir, very easily at that. It took, Penny her barely thirty seconds to hack the machine, and completely rewrite the system.
Ironwood: Is this true, Penny?
Penny. Yes, Sir. Specialist Arc asked me to come down to one of the voting stations, and asked me to hack the system.
Ironwood: And, why did you ask, Penny to do this, Specialist Arc?
Jaune: I heard that the election being held in, Mantle was being held in a week. I was curious about how, Atlas does things. When I went there I found out that you use electronic voting booth. I saw several posters of the people running for election, and I saw one of the posters was for, Robyn Hill. I remembered her assassination attempt, and how destabilizing her death would be for, Atlas, and Mantle. I think a similar effect would happen if she lost the election, not to the same extent, but nonetheless.
Jaune: After, Penny hacked the system, I found out she was able to manipulate the votes in several different ways; From changing the names, resetting the machines, and even alter who got the total amount of votes.
It was another partial lie, Jaune caught himself noting that he often gave, General Ironwood such answers when he asked him about anything. It got the job done in the end.
Ironwood: To what end did you do this for, Specialist Arc?
Jaune: If, Penny can manipulate the systems so easily, what can a person like, Arthur Watts do?
Ironwood: You're worried that he will rig the election in his favour?
Jaune: Yes, Sir. I recommend we replace the voting machines with paper ballots to insure, Salem, and her minions do not interfere with the elections.
Ironwood pressed his fingers together as he solemnly nodded his head.
Ironwood: This is a wise decision to make. I'll make the necessary arrangements. Well done, Specialist. You may have undermined, Arthur Watts in a way we did not expect.
Jaune: Thank you, Sir!
Ironwood: Now then, head to the meeting room, Specialist Ebi wants to discuss a mission with you. Your dismissed.
Jaune: Sir!
Jaune saluted, General Ironwood, and made his way out of his office. as soon as he was out of the room, a tired sigh escaped his lips. He stood there for a moment as he steadied his nerves. He had made a gamble to try. and get, General Ironwood to replace the voting booth with paper ballots. He knew, General Ironwood wouldn't give a damn about paper ballots considering it had nothing to do with his, CCTS project, but nonetheless.
He had to play his cards right with him.
Jaune: Okay... Let's go see what...?!
Penny: Jaune!
Jaune stopped in his place as, Penny came up to him, a nervous jitter in her stance as she looked at him.
Penny: D-Did I help you?
Jaune: Yep, you did precisely what i hoped you would do. Thank you for helping me, Penny.
Penny: Oh... t-thank you, Jaune.. I... oh?
Penny stopped talking as she felt, Jaune's hand on her head, gently ruffling her hair.
Jaune: I know you want to apologize to me for all that has happened, Penny, but you must understand: There is nothing you need to apologize for, Penny. I was never angry with you. I just felt sorry for you for all that happened to you. I was hurting because I lost, Pyrrha. And, you were hurting because she accidently killed you. She hurt us in ways we didn't expect, but neither of what happened to us was her fault. Cinder killed, Pyrrha, and she tricked her into killing you. It's, Cinder's fault, Penny. There is no one to blame, but her. Okay?
Penny was shaking as she brought her hands to her face, whipping away the tears in her eyes.
Penny: T-Thank you, Jaune.
Jaune: You're welcome, Penny. But, I just have one question for you.
Penny: W-What... (Sniff...) What is it, Jaune?
Jaune: Do you hate me, Penny?
Penny looked at, Jaune tears in the corner of her eyes as she smiled at him.
Penny: No, I don't hate you, Jaune.
Jaune smiled at her in turn as he took his hand off her head.
Jaune: You didn't hiccup.
Penny: I didn't.
Jaune: Well, I best get going, and see whatever it is, Clover wants from me. I'll see you later, Penny.
Penny: Wait!
Jaune: Hmm?
Penny: Can I... Can I come with you, Jaune?
Jaune smiled as he beckoned her with his hand to follow him.
Jaune: Come on, Penny let's get going.
Penny: Yes. Lets!

CONGRATS ON 1K 🥳
Could I request Quinn Hughes helping reader through a stress breakdown + #13?
Thank you for requesting <3
FLUFF #13 "You came." "You called."
📞 dialling…
Quinn had never gripped his steering wheel harder in his life. Never had been so impatient and desperate to get back to his apartment before. He’d never burst through the front door, dumping his bags and almost tripping through his hallway like he had after he saw the notification back in the rink’s locker room. The second he opened his phone after practice and saw her name on the ‘missed call’ notification, his stomach dropped drastically, and all clothing and equipment was shoved into his bag without much care.
Following the sniffling, he peered into his living room, slowly and quietly stepping closer to y/n curled up on his sofa, as if she were trying to melt into the back cushions from how tight she had pressed herself against them, like she was trying to get as far away from her laptop that sat on his table behind her and curl up into a ball. He thought for a second that the way she had positioned herself, she didn’t want to look at the device she usually would be working from when he got home, her eyes red and wide, wet with glistening cheeks, choked sobs falling from her chest staggered.
Taking a seat next her, lips pulled into a compassionate frown, Quinn wrapped his arms around her body, pulling her onto his lap and holding her to his chest, “Sshh, I’m here, darling, I’ve got you.”
For some reason, one she could not explain, she cried harder, a lump in her throat that was cured by wails and uncontrollable tears as she melted into his hold, tucking her head into his collarbone and letting his voice and hands sooth her. His heart ached, a sting in his chest as her hand clutched his hoodie.
After allowing herself to fall into vulnerability, safe in his warmth, y/n sniffed, eyes bleary and grip on his hoodie loosening. Quinn’s hands remained soft, caressing over her back and placing gentle kisses to her head.
“You came?” she croaked, voice only loud in the silence of the apartment.
His hold tightened, wiping her cheek with his thumb and gazing softly into her eyes, “You called, why wouldn’t I come?”
“I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry I…I know not to call when you…you’re at practice but, but-” the words seemed to blurt out into breathless sobs, the kind that had her ugly crying where strings of saliva coated her lips, and she sniffed every few seconds to spare the embarrassment of getting mucus all over him.
“No, no. It’s okay, you can call me whenever you need.” He cooed, leaning back into the cushions.
He didn’t need to ask what she meant; they’d been together so long he just knew. She would never call him during practice unless it was an emergency. Not that he’d pick up until he’d re-enter the locker room, but y/n had a stone pride, a fear of asking for help and case of responsibility she felt obliged to even when she wasn’t. Being a hard-worker and carrying a weight were two different things and she couldn’t tell the difference, which led to situations like Quinn had walked in on. Y/n wouldn’t have called if it wasn’t out of desperation and the only time she ever called was when the weight of her stress crushed her into a mental and emotional collapse.
The sobbing gradually dulled into sniffing, y/n staring into space while he stroked her hair, “Do you wanna talk about it? Or I can run a bath with the candles? Or we can just cuddle and watch something?”
She didn’t ask a lot from him. Just to be held when she needed him the most and to let her hold him. And that intimacy was enough for her heart to slow into a peaceful rhythm.
“It’s too much, Quinn.” Her voice was strained, cheeks hot from her outburst. Yet, he didn’t know how long she’d been crying and panicking for until she called, and that pained him the most. “There’s so much work to do and so little time, but if I don’t do it, I’ll let everyone down and they’ll hate me and I’ll lose my job and-”
“-and you don’t have to do it alone. Why don’t we take a bath, cuddle on the couch and we can talk it through?”
She’d never met a gentler man in her life. She’d seen him tussle on the ice, throw a punch or two but that never made it outside the rink. He never raised his voice, never left any argument unresolved and his voice was always softer with her, whether he knew it or not. His arms, his warm and inviting arms paired with him knowing exactly what she needed without her saying a word broke away the distress chip by chip.
Shaking her head wearily, her lip quivered, “No, Q, you don’t have to go through all that, I can handle it, I swear. You’ve got your own things, I’m just overreacting, I’m fine, it’s fine. Yeah.”
“Y/n, look at me.” Quinn pulled her away from his chest, hand cupping her cheek and bringing her head to look him in his eyes. “Breathe. You’re not going to do this alone. I’m here for you and I love you, I will do whatever it takes to make you feel better, okay?”
She nodded, his thumb wiping away any excess tears. She swallowed the lump in her throat, breathing in for five seconds and exhaling for another five, just as Quinn taught her. Soft lips pressed to her temple, and she gave a small smile, leaning against his chest once again.

My friends thought I was crazy when I told them I was going to northern Russia for a nature trip. Of all the places to go, they said, why would I want to go to Russia? Nobody understood that there was some of the most beautiful places in Russia, places that were hardly ever explored because everyone thought the same way as my friends did. Going there meant it was way less likely for me to run into anyone else. I could explore on my own, take in nature, reconnect with it. It's what I needed after the last few months.
My first night was very peaceful. I had set up camp far enough in a wooded area that, on the off chance anyone else was around, they wouldn't come across my camp. It was a warm enough night that I didn't need to have the extra cover on my tent and I could watch the stars before I drifted off to sleep. I woke up early enough to make myself breakfast from the small amount of food I had brought with me, pack up my camp, and set off to explore.
That is when things became much less peaceful.
I had found a trail to take. I was considering taking a break anyways. I had been walking so long that my legs were starting to hurt, and my water bottle was starting to run empty. So, I was in search of any body of water I could fill my bottle with and could sit down next to, when I heard the low growl.
I stopped. When there was no follow up noise, I was sure I had imagined it. But then I heard rustling, and then I saw the jaguar.
She was large, even at such a distance I could tell. She was low to the ground, stalking towards me; a predator stalking her prey. My heart was pounding so hard. I knew she could hear it. Predators knew when their prey was afraid, after all.
I knew coming across wildlife was likely. I thought it was something I'd be prepared for. But in that moment, I had never felt less prepared. My only thought was fight or flight, but I knew I'd never win a fight with a jaguar, and I likely wouldn't out run one either. I was completely helpless, with a large, snarling jaguar inching closer to me.
Suddenly, I wasn't alone. I thought I had imagined hearing more rustling, but then someone was stood in front of me. It was a man, and I truly had no idea where he came from. I could've sworn I was the only person out here. There hadn't been another campsite as far as I could tell.
He was stood between the jaguar and I, almost shielding me from her.
"Back down, girl," he said. His voice was both gentle and stern somehow. "This is not an enemy."
The jaguar lowered herself to the ground. She was still on alert, but it seemed like she was trusting this man. Her eyes kept flickering between us, a slight snarl still curled on her lips.
"Hey!" The jaguar's eyes snapped to him. "She's good. She's not here to hurt anyone. Walk away."
Her eyes found me again. I felt like she was studying me. I felt the need to shift so she could see my camping gear and understand that I wasn't going to hurt her. Not that she needed that reassurance. I'm sure we both knew she could easily take me down if she wanted to.
To my surprise, the jaguar rose from her crouched position. She kept her eyes on us as she stalked back into the woods.
The man turned to face me. It took me a moment to realize he was talking to me. I couldn't understand what he was saying because his voice was muffled, but he was right in front of me. The edges of my vision was starting to go black. Next thing I knew, the man was rushing to catch me as I fell to the ground. My vision went black before I hit the ground.
~~~~~~
When I came to, it took me a while to remember what had happened. When it all came back to me, I sat up quickly. I had expected to find myself still on the ground in the woods, but instead I was laying on something soft; a bed. I looked around to see I was no longer in the woods, or even in my tent. I was in some sort of building, rounded and made completely of windows.
And I wasn't alone.
I jumped when my eyes landed on a man stood in the doorway. It took me a second to remember who he was.
"Good morning," he said, a light tone in his voice. "Are you feeling alright?"
I nodded. "What - uh - what happened?"
"You passed out," he explained. "It must've been the adrenaline wearing off from your run in with the jaguar. Or the shock kicking in. It's not an unusual reaction to have."
I tensed a little when he started to approach me. He noticed and stopped. He held something out to me, and that's when I realized he had been holding my water bottle, and he had filled it.
I reached out to take it from him. "Thanks."
The feeling of the cold liquid was refreshing. I downed nearly the entire bottle in one go.
I capped the bottle and looked back to my savior. "And thank you for saving me out there. How did you do that, though? I mean...she was a wild animal, and you just...talked her down."
"I have a way with animals," he answered, shrugging as if it were that simple.
I narrowed my eyes at him. I wasn't about to argue when it came to how he saved my life, but it didn't mean I couldn't be skeptical. How was someone able to speak to a wild animal to stop it from attacking? Even if he "had a way with animals", no one was that good with any animal.
"My name is Sergei, by the way," he said. I mentally noted his quick change in subject.
"(Y/N)," I said. "Where are we?"
"My home."
I looked at him with wide eyes. "You live out here?"
He chuckled. "It's that hard to believe?"
"Kind of. I did research about this place before my trip and there was nothing about anyone living out here."
"I like to keep it that way. Less people bothering me."
"Except for campers who run into angry jaguars."
He nodded, an amused smile on his face. "Yeah, except for campers who run into angry jaguars."
There was an awkward moment of silence. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do now. I guess I should've been planning to leave. After all, Sergei only saved me and brought me here because I had fainted. I wasn't supposed to be a guest or anything. But I wasn't exactly jumping to go back out into the woods again. I knew I would have to eventually, but the encounter was still too fresh in my mind.
Sergei broke the silence by saying, "I made food if you're hungry."
My stomach rumbled in response. We both laughed and Sergei gestured for me to follow him. I stood slowly from the bed, testing my ability to stand and walk after having been laid down for so long.
I couldn't believe how big Sergei's place was. I still didn't understand how he was able to live in secrecy like this. There was no way nobody had ever come across his place before. A giant dome home in the middle of nowhere was certainly enough to even just be added to a "trivia" section on Wikipedia when researching the area.
"I hope you like fish," Sergei was saying, snapping me from my trance. "The only other thing I have is some vegetable made food if you don't."
"I can eat fish," I said. "Do you gather your own food?"
"I catch fish to eat, and I have a garden," he explained. "I don't go after any of the other wildlife out here. I don't eat any meat."
"Just fish."
He gave me a look. I would've thought I had offended him, but there was a slight smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "I don't get along with fish as well as I do other animals."
He passed me a plate of his self caught, homecooked fish, as well as some of his home grown vegetables. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. I couldn't remember the last time I had ever met someone who was this self sufficient. I mean, I had one friend who had a garden, but she mainly grew a few carrots and strawberries. Sergei seemed to be completely living off the land.
I took a mouthful of the meal Sergei had given me. It was delicious, and a much needed change from the protein bars and other smaller foods I had taken with me.
"What were you doing out in the woods anyways?" Sergei asked me.
"Camping," I responded.
He raised an eyebrow at me. "In Russia?"
I nodded. "I was looking for somewhere that other people don't typically go to. Somewhere that I could be by myself and get in touch with nature."
"And you didn't prepare for the event of running into dangerous wildlife."
I looked down at my plate as I shrugged. There was something about admitting how unprepared I was for that situation that kind of made me embarrassed, although I wasn't sure why. Who is ever really prepared to run into a jaguar? Besides Sergei, apparently.
"I knew it was likely," I said. "I guess I just didn't fully prepare myself in the event of it happening."
More silence fell over us. I could feel his eyes on me, studying me the way the jaguar had. I didn't want to meet his eye, though. I was feeling a little intimidated, just as I had when the jaguar had been watching me so closely.
"Most people go to Canada to camp," he pointed out. "Or like...Australia."
I scoffed. "You saw how unprepared I was for a jaguar. You really think I was ready to go toe to toe with snakes and giant spiders?"
He chuckled. "No, I guess not."
"Besides, like I said, I wanted to go somewhere that other people weren't going to go to. Somewhere that I could just...be alone. That I could reconnect with nature and clear my head."
Sergei hummed. "There's a story there."
I dared to look up at him, trying to glare. I hadn't noticed before - mainly because I was fearing for my life - but he was an incredibly handsome man. His dark hair a little long and unruly, but not in a way that made him look a mess or anything. It made him more appealing, actually.
"There's a story as to why you're living all the way out here on your own and keep a low enough profile for no one else to know you're here," I retorted.
He nodded. "There is."
I kept looking at him, expecting him to go on. Not that he owed me an explanation or anything, just like I didn't owe him one for why I was on a nature trip the furthest away from society that I could get. But I'd be lying if I said my interest wasn't piqued.
He was looking back at me, though, the same look on his face.
I sighed. "My story is boring."
"Who says mine isn't?"
"I have a hunch there isn't much boring about you."
He smiled, but he didn't say anything else. I knew he wasn't going to back down. So, because my curiosity to know more about Sergei was killing me, I rolled my eyes and said, "I've had a rough few months."
He shook his head. "You gotta give me more than that."
I let out another sigh. "I found out my boyfriend of a year was cheating on me with someone from his work for six months. He dumped me and immediately started flaunting around his relationship with her. And the way I found out was because I was passed over for a promotion I had been promised weeks ago in favor of someone else who hasn't been with my company even half as long as I have, so I was driving over to his place for comfort and found him fucking someone else instead. Oh, and then my fish died."
"Jesus," he breathed.
I nodded. "Yeah. So...your turn."
He hesitated. For a second I thought he wasn't going to tell me, and I was going to remind him that I had just dumped my trauma on him so it wasn't fair to not tell me his. Finally, he said, "I needed to get away from my dad."
I looked at him for a moment before gesturing for him to continue."
"He wasn't a good man. He...he did terrible things. To my mom, mainly, but also to my brother and I. I was sick of it. This place used to belong to my mom, so I ran away from home one night and came here. I keep a low profile so my dad can't find me here."
"That's a pretty far distance to run."
"The further the better."
I stabbed at the food on my plate. Suddenly I was not feeling as hungry as I was before. Something about exchanging traumas left a sour taste in my mouth.
"That's why there's no record of anyone living out this way," I said, mainly to myself but Sergei was nodding along anyways. "Has anyone ever found you out here?"
He shook his head. "I'm not found unless I want to be."
"And...you wanted me to find you?"
"Technically I found you."
I rolled my eyes. "Okay, yes, but you brought me back here. And don't say that's because I fainted, because you could've just stayed with me in the woods and left when you knew I was alright. You're okay with me knowing that you're here."
For the first time, Sergei turned away from me. Now it was him who was unable to meet my eye.
"I don't meet a lot of good people," he finally said. "Out here, there's a lot of poachers and hunters. There's never anyone who is just trying to connect with nature. You...intrigued me, for a lack of better words."
I almost wanted to laugh. This man was living off grid in Russia, in a huge sanctuary that once belonged to his mother. He was able to communicate with animals in one way or another, he was completely self sufficient, and, once again, he was probably the most gorgeous man I had ever laid my eyes on. And yet he was saying that I was the intriguing one, just because I wasn't trying to destroy the nature.
When my food was gone, I reluctantly pushed my plate towards him. "Thank you, again. For...well, everything. I guess...I should probably get back out there."
Sergei nodded. "I guess."
I went to stand, when he added, "Or you could...you could stay a bit longer. If you'd prefer. I know it's not exactly camping here, but...there's no jaguars."
"That's a pretty good sales pitch."
He smiled. "It's up to you, but I don't often get company out here that I actually like. I...I wouldn't mind getting to spend more time together."
I tried to seem nonchalant. I shrugged my shoulders, as if I couldn't be bothered with the decision making, and mumbled something along the lines of, "I guess I could."
But Sergei could see right through me. The look he was giving me was enough to completely shatter the facade. "I would love to stay, Sergei."
In fact, I didn't care if I ever left.
The Astral Express hummed quietly in the background as you and Dan Heng sat near the observation deck, overlooking the vast, starry expanse of space. The air was calm, and the stars glittered like tiny fragments of light scattered across the infinite darkness. It was moments like these that felt like the world was at peace.
Dan Heng, as usual, was quiet. He often preferred the silence, the serenity, to the noise of social interaction. You admired his ability to sit in stillness without feeling the need to fill the air with words. It was something you wished you could do, something that had always felt just out of reach for you.
Growing up, you'd been the kind of person who had many acquaintances but no one who truly understood you. You were always the "friend to all, friend to none" type, moving through groups without ever forming the deeper, meaningful connections others seemed to build so effortlessly. People liked you, sure, but no one ever stayed. You had convinced yourself that maybe that was just the way it was—that you weren't meant for those kinds of connections, that perhaps, in the grand scheme of things, no one really wanted to get too close.
But with Dan Heng, things felt different. At first, you had kept your distance, wary of letting someone get too close to your heart. He, too, had his own walls, and you both seemed to dance around each other in cautious curiosity. Slowly, though, something deeper began to form. The walls that both of you had carefully built up began to erode, bit by bit. He had started showing you sides of himself, not the stoic, distant façade that most people saw, but the subtle warmth that lay beneath.
And you? You had opened up to him in ways that felt... natural. It felt like you didn't have to hide your feelings anymore, like he saw you—not just as another person in his life, but as someone he genuinely cared about.
But even now, despite all the time that had passed, you couldn't quite wrap your mind around the love he gave you. How could he, a man who carried so much weight on his shoulders, want to devote himself to someone like you?
You were lost in thought, staring out at the stars when you felt a soft touch on your shoulder. Dan Heng’s voice broke through the silence, calm and steady, as usual.
"Are you alright?"
You swallowed hard, forcing a smile onto your face, but it faltered almost immediately. Dan Heng’s gaze softened, his eyes searching yours, as if he could see right through the mask you tried so hard to wear. You had always been good at hiding your emotions, but with him, it was different. His presence, his care, it made everything feel so real.
And in that moment, it hit you—he actually loved you. Not just the version of you that you showed to the world, not the facade you had put up all these years. He loved you—you, the person you had convinced yourself was never meant to be loved. The one who was never worthy of that kind of devotion.
Tears welled up in your eyes before you could stop them, and before you knew it, they were streaming down your face. The sudden rush of emotion overwhelmed you, and you found yourself unable to hold back the sobs.
Dan Heng didn’t say a word. Instead, he immediately pulled you closer, his arms enveloping you in the quietest, most reassuring embrace. The action spoke louder than any words could. His touch was gentle, as if he knew how fragile you felt in that moment, as if he understood the storm raging inside of you.
“You don’t have to explain,” he whispered, his voice soothing, a soft rumble against your ear. “I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere.”
The sincerity in his words broke something inside you, and you cried even harder, your heart aching with a mix of joy and disbelief. You had never felt so seen, so cherished.
“I don’t... I don’t deserve this,” you whispered through your tears, shaking your head as if to convince yourself of the words. “I’ve never had anyone care about me this much. Not like this... Not just for me.”
Dan Heng’s fingers gently cupped your chin, lifting your face so that your eyes met his. His gaze was unwavering, his expression soft yet firm.
“You deserve every ounce of it,” he said quietly, his thumb brushing away the last of your tears. “You’ve always deserved to be loved. And I—” He paused, his voice dipping with the weight of something unspoken, something deep. “I will always choose you, no matter what.”
You stared at him, your chest tightening as you tried to process the truth in his words. It was as if a veil had been lifted, and for the first time in your life, you understood what it meant to be truly, unconditionally loved.
The thought was overwhelming, humbling, and for the first time in years, you allowed yourself to believe it.
“I love you, too,” you whispered, your voice barely audible.
Dan Heng didn’t need to respond with grand gestures or flowery words. He simply kissed your forehead, his arms tightening around you in a silent promise that this, the love between you, was real and unbreakable.
And for once, you believed it, too.
Character + Prompt/Request:
Tumblr media
Sol x GN!Reader, for the beginning, then Sol and GN!Reader (spoiler. you break up)
One angsty torturing of Sol coming right up! pfff <3 (More could of been added to this...A continuation? Maybe Reader comes back...Even after all the red flags there, and suspecting what was done...What if they still come back? Only time may tell. lol)
Warnings: Attempted drugging with sleeping pills, manipulation, toxic relationship.
“Why would you put so much hope in me? Things have clearly never worked out for me!”
Tumblr media
Rarely he rose his voice at you, unless he really was affected by his emotions, which clearly he was right now.
You've heard him say this before though, done this before. Over and over again, things go well, then they fall, then you work to try to rebuild it all with him, for him.
You loved him, you did. Cared for him deeply. But everyone has their limits, and you finally reached yours.
"You're right...They haven't, and maybe it's a sign this won't work out after all." His eyes widened at your words. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out at first. Then he started to panic, you could see it clearly, he quickly grabbed your hands, with pleading eyes.
"NO! THIS WILL WORK! IT WILL! IT HAS TO! YOU'RE MY SOULMATE AFTER ALL! WE'RE MEANT TO BE!" You felt his hold tighten, it was starting to hurt...
"Sol...Maybe you've been wrong though? What kind of soulmate can't make their love truly happy?...Help them with their problems when needed most? Make them more happy than sad, and feel more love than sorrow? That's no soulmate...at least one you deserve. You deserve better."
"No no no please don't say that. Don't believe any of that. I'm sorry! I'm sorry I keep screwing this up! I keep making it hard for you, for us! But I'll try, I'm trying! I'll do better. I'll--I'll try therapy again. I'll talk to Hyugo and--"
"And what? We repeat this all over again? Sol...Please...You know we've been hanging on by a thread for too long...I love you, I really do but...I love you too much to keep making you suffer like this...I...I can't stand to see you hurt anymore...And I know I'm mostly to blame for it all..."
"NO! YOU'RE NOT! IT'S HIS FAULT! ALL ICHABOD'S FAULT! EVEN AFTER RIDDING OF HIM HE STILL--"
"...What?"
Sol let his grip go, taking a step back, realizing what he said. "I mean...I..."
"Sol...What about Crowe? What do you mean 'ridding of him'?"
"P-pumpkin...I can explain. Let me just--" Sol attempted to hold your hands again but you stepped back, moved away from him. Eyes widened in confusion and fear.
"...What happened to Crowe? Solivan, god help me if you did something to him--"
"Pumpkin please! I swear it's not like that! Just let me explain and--"
"Then explain right now what happened to him. Explain or I will call the cops." Sol felt his heart skip a beat and tighten from your threat. Yet he forced a smile, trying to act calm.
"Of course...But let me please make you a drink, some tea, it'll help calm you while I explain...Okay? Please..." Sol's pleading eyes never failed to have a affect on you...So you nodded and let him go get that drink for you.
As Sol left the room, he texted Hyugo, a simple text, saying "They found out." sent out and then he put the phone away to focus on you.
He went to the kitchen to prepare that tea he promised, but pulled out something he thought he'll never have to use again.
"...You just need some sleep, pumpkin. I promise you. It'll all be better soon." He softly said this as he mixed in the pills into your drink. Then looked at the drink in his hands. He knew this had to be done, but wished it didn't come to this again. "I'll make this better again. I promise..."
After a moment of making peace with this decision with himself, he made his way back to the room where you were at.
"Here you go, pumpkin. One warm cup of tea made with lov--" Sol froze as he entered the room, to see no sight of you. Then saw the window wide open, your one and only exit taken. He didn't even care about the cup of tea he dropped, that both shattered and spilled over his shoes.
All he was focused on now was running to the window, to look around outside, in hopes of seeing you but you were nowhere to be found.
"PUMPKIN?! Y/N!" His breathing quickened, his heart raced, he felt his panic rising more as he started to pace the room. Looking for a sign of where you could of went. He even flipped the house upside down for a possible chance of finding you, hoping you were just hiding but you weren't there. You were gone.
Then with trembling hands he grabbed his phone to try to call Hyugo but kept messing up. He was scared, not over you getting the cops after him though. He was scared of losing you, of you being away from him.
He wasn't thinking straight anymore. He left the house in a panic now to look for you, to find you and bring you back home. To make this all right, but you wouldn't be found...Not anytime soon that is...
So he'll just run, and search for you for hours, calling you out, begging and pleading for you to come back. All while he ignores Hyugo's panicked texts and calls...
KIRANDER / WOLF NARI THINGS FACTS STORY IDK
He's an albino gray wolf, he acts a lot more like a dog... Maybe millennia in the void tamed him or maybe is just his people pleaser nature. (Despite that he can be authoritarian I think)
Kiran is very old, the oldest of bishops, the first of them to find a crown.
He's not a big fan of fighting but is very good at it, he taught his siblings some techniques!
The relationship with the other bishops isn't really good, he loves them but they don't like him much because he's "too affectioned" and overall strange. They don't understand his vision of the world and I mean fair.
His morals are mostly pessimistic he believes in the concept of destroy and rebuild, his "excuse" is that he doesn't want to see people suffer so he comes to the conclusion that dying is better than living and that the world would be better without gods.
He's very impatient but doesn't show it... And he doesn't allow more than one (1) second chances, all his previous vessels were definitely killed by him after their first death againsts the bishops
He would come up with some bullshit like "I'm sorry, I won't prolong your pain any longer, I clearly was wrong you're not fit for this... Now rest" or "you tried but it wasn't enough" a bit evil... And not very productive from him since he can't free himself alone... Ironic because he's impatient lol his morals are very strong
So yeah basically goat killed all bishops without dying even once... That was hell
(Goat playing hardcore lmao)
Cal and Deb (kiran's Baal and aym) weren't given by the bishops but by they're mom did a ritual to gift them to their father (yes I'm gonna make Kiran x forneus (name need a change) canon here and make him the bio dad of the pups , how were they born? Idk immaculate conception probably), they are demigods, kiran loves them very much and they keept him "sane"
Also forneus is his most Loyal follower 🔥🔥🔥🥴
After goat kills all bishops Kiran uses his freedom to... Take care of the pups...
They knew this was going to happen and let him do it (like... Brainwashed behavior)
If the world was to be freed from gods then demigods shouldn't be here either, so he killed them. Fast and painless.
Ok ok relationship with goat :
Is always ups and downs but mostly it starts as just you help me and I help you kind of deal... After the first bishop down Kiran kinda start to catch feelings... Nobody went so far yet this goat was the one, goat never died again so they saw each other's only after the first chain got destroyed and Kiran was able to use a bit of his power to bring them to him as the pleased, they use those summonings to talk e know each other's better lol.
So after bishop one was down they were in a friendly mood? Relationship??? Positive?
After the second bishop goat started to be a bit confused about their big friend's plan... The bishop told them some stuff but they decided not to believe him still doubt started forming in their heart even if Kiran was always so affectionate
I think the crush start here
After bishop 3 was down the seed of doubt finally sprout and Kiran noticed that goat started to be more distant from him... After one day goat asked him "after you're free, What will you do to me? " and Kiran simply responded with "I'll free you too, from you're regrets and from all the pain, I'll free your soul and we will be together in peace" that didn't reassure goat one bit but they let it slide because they wanted to believe their god
At this point their relationship was a bit confused but I think there was love in there under all the doubts
After the fourth bishop was killed goat was scared, terrified even.
They finally knew what the real plan was, the last bishop told them, He told them everything and how that wolf would take their second life just for a crazy ideology. They won't let that happen, they are stronger than him anyway... This whole deal made them go a little mad and on a full rampage, it didn't help finally knowing that the stermination of their kin was basically kiran's fault, yes the bishops started it but it was all to stop the crazy plans of the wolf, a "little" price to pay to save everything else.
When they arrived to purgatory they noticed the pups were gone, not surprising considering everything they learned that day about their beloved wolf.
Their fight wasn't long, Kiran asked goat to just listen to him but they were not willing at all.
it all ends when they finally manage to pin him on the ground.
The relationship right now is divorce 😭😭
So Kiran dies, a very painful and slow death. Goat claims his place and they become the new God fo death.
That didn't satisfy them toh, now there was emptiness in their heart. They loved that wolf! They felt safe with him, he always attended their words wounds and now just like that he was gone. They killed him.
Goat would stop thinking about it for some years and would keep attending on their cult (in a very bad way) until one night they decided to bring the wolf back and make him pay and his actions again, like yes out of spite and to fill the emptiness.
Now can start the toxic yaoi
Bringing Kiran back will start this circle of love and hate, a desperate attempt from goat to fix the problems in their head??
Bro needs therapy (lamb is their therapist and will help them)
Every time Kiran would die goat would bring him back, bro doesn't deserve peace🔥🔥
Ok but with time goat calms down, realize that this is useless, Kiran realize that his actions were actually the problem, that he missed his siblings and his pups so much.
Sorry chat he changed a bit I think 😔
Thoughs on this review of The Brutalist ( recent movie about the creation of Israel from an architectural standpoint)?
Okay so I hadn't heard of the movie when I saw this ask but the cinema across the road is showing it and I had nothing planned during the day so I went and saw it.
That review is just literal brainrot. The best way i can sum it up is "i dont view the holocaust as traumatic and i think that israel only exists to kill Palestinians. To disect it bit by bit
"There are no mentions of Palestinians already living there" - the focus on the movie is not the creation of Israel. It's a sub plot. In movies, subplots aren't always fleshed out in every possible way, this is the norm with movies. The focus and point of the story is following a holocaust survior immigrate to Amercia and through his experiences in the US, his decision of leaving to try to build a life in the newly formed state of Israel or stay in an already established country where he experiences oppression, but could make more money and better support himself than if he went to Israel. The creation of Israel is not the main or even b plot, its the c plot of the movie.
"As we move forward in time, we are presented with scenes whose ideological purpose is to convince you that life in Amercia is too hard" - literally am begging the writer to read any jewish literature on how it was being jewish in Amercia after the holocaust. Jews were treated as immigrants as jews in that time period WERE immigrants. All the bigotry targeted towards immigrants also affects jews. Then you also have antisemitic hate crimes being a common thing during that time. Just because the US fought Nazi's, doesn't mean the US government or its citizens liked jews.
The antisemitic slur kike is literally born from amercian antisemitism. It is derived from the Yiddish world for circle, as when jews immigrated, they couldn't sign their name at the x, as the x meant a cross, as in a Christian cross, so had to sign next to a circle.
But of course considering they went into the movie with bias, I am unsurprised that they are uneducated on jewish oppression in Amercia.
"Nothing about how the act of moving to partake in the act of genocide" - because people didn't move to genocide Palestinians. The state of Israel's reason for existence has literally nothing to do about palestinians. It's about jewish self determination. That we should be able to govern ourselves, especially when every government in the world apart from a handful has tried to kill us at some point in time. Palestinians are only relevant when we get into discussions of how to execute this self governing, because it does affect them too.
And it all honestly stems back to Nazi propaganda. The Nazi party was inspired by the protocols of the elder Zions, which is fictional antisemitic minutes of the real first zionist meeting. The first antizionists couldn't give two shits about palestinians, it was about preventing jews from having a safe haven so it was easier to kill us. By spreading falsehoods about why Israel exists and lying and saying Amercia has always been 100% safe for jews, you are simply upholding the original values of the first antizionists. That it's much better for the world if we live in places which are unsafe and people want to kill us rather than compromise with palestinians and have a peaceful two state solution which the original UN proposal which everyone agreed upon was back in 1947. And this also erases the indigenousness of jews to eretz yisrael which was also widely accepted by most countries at the time period.
Next bit is too long to quote so here is a picture
Tumblr media
The movie was in the works before oct 7th. Again, Israel as a country was not formed to murder Palestinians. And then they're also engaging in the "all jews are rich" trope by acting as if all zionists, so therefore 90% of jews are rich. I know more zionist jews who aren't rich than those who are rich. I myself am not rich. Zionism also has nothing to do with how much money one has. The movie also is LITERALLY a critique of capitalism. Like the movie goes "capitalism bad" but I guess because it's about da evil rich money hoarding joos, it's actually a pro capitalism movie 🙄.
Tumblr media
Oh wow an individual architect who engages in brutalist architecture doesn't want to be political!!! Oh the horror! I cannot believe that people don't all fit into these neat categories!!!!! Everyone must adhere to strict definitions of what it means for a person who is interested in a thing!
Like genuinely wtf is wrong with this person. Brutalist architecture being a political statement AND a dude exploring his trauma and PTSD from literally being in a concentration camp but not wanting to be political can both coexist. They aren't competing ideas. God forbid anyone tries to work through their trauma in a nonharmful way (designing architecture) which doesn't adhere to your specific ideas of working through trauma.
"Later brutalist works are left out of the film" God forbid a movie doesn't go on a tangent and have a documentary within the movie.
Also the mental gymnastics to go "this man turning to brutalist architecture as a way to deal with holocaust ptsd is obviously him stealing brutalist architecture, just like how jews stole hummus"
Also have you even seen a kibbutz???? Literally fits your community orientation that you're going on and on about.
This whole review is literally someone who only wants their perspective or one they can relate to shared in media.
And that is honestly dangerous to media. We should be depicting various experiences and perspectives through media, even ones we don't agree with. Wanting only a highly specific perspective shown in media is literally media control. No one is forcing you to watch media you don't like. I myself am personally not a fan of the movie as I found it too long with slow pacing and not of a genre I enjoy, but I'm not going to spew propaganda about the movie.
The next week or so had gone by smoothly.
Like clockwork, I would pack my things from my desk and get the elevator down to the lobby with Gabi and Ashley, whilst Stephen glared at us from the glass wall of his office.
Noah would be stood in the car park, leaning against his car and would pull me into a kiss or a hug depending on if he noticed Stephen watching from his office, which he did most days.
Thankfully, our little arrangement seemed to have warded Stephen off for the time being.
There had been no pointless meetings, which he spent questioning me on my personal life or just ogling me in my button up shirt.
There had been less arm touches. Granted, he hadn’t stopped, but I was grateful for the reduction of them nonetheless.
Our plan was going perfectly.
The only issue that I had faced was when Gabi pointed out that I didn’t have any photos of Noah and I on my desk. I had no photos at all on my desk besides a photo of my family dog, Rocket, who had been my partner in crime for as long as I could remember.
He was a brown labrador, he was getting older sadly, but I didn’t love him any less.
Besides me, Rocket loved Noah.
Everyone in the office knew how much I loved that dog.
Then it hit me.
If I put a photo of Noah and Rocket on my desk, then our relationship would be more plausible.
After work I made Noah drive me to the nearest Walmart so that I could print a photo I had taken of the two last Christmas and buy a nice frame for it.
“Why did you pick that one? I look stupid.” Noah exclaimed.
“No you look cute.” I defended with a sigh, already fed up of his complaining.
He had been like this ever since I had explained my idea of putting the photo on my desk.
“No, I look like an idiot. I am wearing a matching Christmas jumper with a dog. A fucking dog Y/N!” Noah laughed.
“Hey! Don’t be mean about Rocket, we both know you love him.” I exclaimed.
It was nice falling into this rhythm with Noah. We still joked around like nothing had changed, which technically it hadn’t, but something still felt off.
Our arrangement became like an inside joke within the group, seeing as it was quite hilarious seeing Noah and I scramble to act like a couple whenever we were nearby my office building or any of the coffee shops that Grace liked to frequent.
“Rocket hates me.” Noah huffed in response.
“Don’t be ridiculous Noah.” I scolded. “He barked at you ONE TIME  because you startled him. You know this.”
“Sure, whatever.” Noah stropped jokingly.
He huffed about the particular photo that I had chosen right up until he had dropped me back off at my place that evening.
When I put it on my desk in the office, I sent him a photo of it, to which he replied with the middle finger emoji, making me laugh.
The photo made our relationship more realistic in the eyes of my colleagues. If they believed the relationship was real, then Stephen was bound to believe it was real eventually.
“I see you and your little boyfriend are official now?” Stephen’s raspy voice, caused by years of smoking cigarettes, interrupted my momentary peace.
“We aren’t official now. We’ve been official for our entire relationship.” I sighed, frustrated that he was still sceptical about my relationship with Noah.
In fairness, the relationship was a lie, so I had nothing really to defend.
“And how long might that be?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Two years.” I replied simply, wanting this interaction to end.
“That’s a long time.” He said.
“yeah, I guess it is.” I said.
“Especially without a ring.” Stephen gestured at my left hand.
I stilled.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Gabi choke on the water she was drinking. It took all I had to not laugh at her reaction.
“We aren’t quite there yet.” I responded as deadpan as I could, just wanting this conversation to be over.
“Why not? You’re beautiful, and I’m sure Norman is a lot better once you get to know him.” Stephen said offhandedly, leaning on  my desk.
“Noah.” I curtly replied. “And, I’m not too sure that whether my boyfriend and I are engaged or not is any of your concern?”
I chose to ignore the fact that he called Noah unattractive, because he was clearly blind, but the whole interaction was irritating me.
“I just want my employees to be happy, is that a crime?” Stephen asked with a shrug.
“Zacky and I got married four months ago, and you still haven’t said congratulations.” Gabi piped up bluntly.
“Emma and I got engaged two months ago.” Ashley added.
Stephen simply sighed, “Well I don’t see how this chat is allowing either of you to do your work.” He snapped at Gabi and Ashley who promptly rolled their eyes and got back to their paperwork.
“You let me know if Nelson hurts you, right Y/N?” Stephen said with fake concern, caressing my forearm before walking back to his office.
I fake gagged at Gabi and Ashley after he was out of eyeline.
“You better go wash that arm.” Ashley laughed, making Gabi and I laugh in turn.
I did, in fact, wash my arm after that interaction.
On my way back from the bathroom, my phone buzzed in the back pocket of my dress-pants. It was a text from Matt on the groupchat.
Matt: Party this weekend. Welcome home for ERRA. Be there or else.
The text made me chuckle.
“Is that Norton?” That familiar raspy voice shattered my joy.
“Noah.” I corrected, walking past him and back to my desk.
Luckily, he didn’t follow me back to my desk, but that didn’t put my mind at ease at all.
His presence was still a complete stain on my day and it made my skin crawl. It felt like he was always watching me and I hated it.
“He still bothering you?” Ashley asked once I sat down.
“Yep.” I sighed.
“Ew.” She sighed, absentmindedly clicking on her computer.
Ashley and Gabi were my best work friends. We had all instantly bonded over our shared love for microwave ramen, and had formed a little ramen club, in which we tried a different flavour of ramen each week.
Sadly, since Stephen had been forcing his way into as many aspects of my life that he could, we had to put an end to it.
The rest of the day went by relatively uneventfully. Stehpen kept himself away in his office, probably sensing that the three women who sat in the bull pen outside of said office, were more than willing to tear his head from his body if given the chance.
By the time 5pm rolled around, I was exhausted and desperate to jump into a long, hot shower with my chill playlist blaring from my speaker.
Noah waited for me in his usual spot and as I waved goodbye to Gabi and Ashley before greeting Noah with a hug.
Before I even realised what was happening, Noah picked me up, spun me around and kissed me deeply. It was by far the most intense kiss we had shared, therefore Stephen must be watching.
I secretly hoped that Stephen was watching me greet Noah after every shift. For one, I revelled in the idea of it ruining his day, and two, I was starting to enjoy kissing Noah.
“I hate that guy.” Noah angrily muttered as we got into his car.
“He’s the literal devil incarnate.” I sighed, resting my head on the passenger side window.
“You feeling okay?” Noah asked. “We can just hang at your place and not go to the party.”
“No, we have to go, they’re our friends. Besides, I could use a good distraction right now.” I smiled at him, making him smile in return.
“Ugh, I was kinda hoping you’d let me bail.” He laughed, making me giggle.
“Keep dreaming.” I sighed, playfully slapping the side of his face.
The rest of the drive home was filled with a comfortable silence, that is, until we arrived back at Noah’s house.
Music was playing from inside the house, a mix of ABBA, Mariah Carey and some other random music that Jesse had deemed ‘party worthy’.
Upon entering the vibrant and lively house, I said brief hellos to everyone before running up to Noah’s room to get myself ready for the party.
It was routine at this point for me to get myself ready in Noah’s room.
The room was familiar.
He always kept it neat and pristine, with the only objects littering the surfaces being my own hairties, claw clips and makeup brushes.
He never moved them or tidied them away. He always left them exactly where they were.
A small box sat on his bathroom counter that contained makeup remover, moisturizer, pimple patches and period products, ready for me to use.
Noah always wanted to be prepared for whenever I came over, but I had heard over the last couple of weeks that this hadn’t always worked in his favour.
Grace was convinced that the box meant that Noah was sleeping with other women, when he wasn’t. Noah had tried to explain that the box was for me when I came over, but she wouldn’t listen, and instead resorted to outright hatred towards me.
According to Noah, Grace had been possessive over him for the majority of their time together, despite it being nothing serious.
I laughed when I reminisced over Noah recapping the entire story to me. He kept having to pause in order for me to react with a “she did what?” or a “is she nuts?”, which had made him laugh in turn.
I pulled on my jeans and black corset top, just in time for a knock to sound on Noah’s bedroom door.
“I’m coming now.” I said, hurrying to the door, which opened to reveal Noah waiting for me.
“Well you better not be cumming in my bedroom.” He said with mock anger, making me laugh.
“As if any woman would be cumming in your bedroom.” I laughed, playfully slapping his chest.
A shrill, nasaly laugh interrupted my train of thought.
“Well, I did.” The same voice said with a painfully annoying giggle.
Grace.
trans!artrick both starting the academy and they don’t know about eo but start suspecting they may have more in common than just tennis. and art is dying to know so he asks in what he thinks is a suddenly way and is turns into a very beautiful friendship (turned relationship)
sighhhh my boys <3
they meet during move in and just something about one another draws them in. maybe it's Art's slightly too soft baby face or Patrick's too curved calves, but these almost missable factors seem to draw an investigation from one to the other.
out of the two of them, Art is the most curious and nosy, like a small puppy. being an only child for his whole life, he can't help but want to know more about his new roommate than he was actually telling him himself. so, when Patrick has a late practice one evening, he decides to snoop. he tries the usual places, dresser drawers, in the back of his closet, but the place he does end up finding something, is his bathroom cabinet. a small pouch, inside containing vials and syringes, similar to his own. also marked, testosterone.
the blond waits quietly on his bed, pretending to study while he nervous anticipates Patrick's arrival. he has to ask. so when the brunette finally comes heaving through the door, the conversation is barely there before Art is blurting out, "are you trans?" Patrick stills in the middle of setting his tennis bag away, back to the other boy. he says nothing. Art continues on his ramble. "i-i just saw your bag in the bathroom and it looked like mine so it isn't a bad thing or me being an ass i just—"
"like yours?" Patrick repeats softly, turning to him, eyes vulnerable. Art nods. "like mine.." that evening, they discuss it, their other shared commonality. they talk transitions, coming outs, surgeries, goals—even sexualities. all is back to the peace they one had, even ranging into deep comfort now that they had found a safe haven with one another.
but as boys often do, their minds start to turn elsewhere after a few months and they can't help but be curious of other things. it drives them to a drunken night of kissing sloppily in some frat house bathroom, Patrick groping at Art's ass while Art moans against his mouth. they go on like that for some time, leaving the house with flushed cheeks and mused hair, the walk back quiet and stumbly. they flop into their beds, ready to pass out when Art breaches the silence. "Pat..?" "hmm?" "what...what are we..?"
Patrick is quiet for a few moments, nearly leaving Art to think he's fallen back to sleep until he speaks. "i..what wold you like to be..?" Art swallows, rolling on his side in the dark to face him. "i..i'd like to be boyfriends, i think. if you'd want that too." he hears the bed creak and sees Patrick's figure roll over to face him. "i want that..a lot." Art can't help the small smile that rolls across his face in the darkness, barely registering as Patrick's larger body crawls into bed with him, pulling the smaller boy into his arms. he kisses his head. "my boyfriend.."
Taken - Zutara - Part 79
First / Previous / Next / Masterpost
Katara had been right. By the end of her first week back in the South, Northern boats appeared on the horizon. But it wasn't just women looking to learn combat bending. There were women escaping arranged marriages, men that wanted to be healers, and mothers helping their children escape the oppression and sexism of the North.
One had brought a letter from Yue, explaining that she had been finding anyone that was starting to question Agna Qel'a and it's leaderships choices, and helping them flee with directions to the South. She had been doing so in secret, ever since her wedding to Hahn.
"We're... gonna need more houses," Sokka said, as they realized that the chances of more arrivals were high.
The rebuilding effort of their village was coming along nicely.
The Wani had been loaded with materials before its departure, which had helped turn their little snow huts into little snow houses. Captain Jee hadn't been able to stay, bringing any of the Fire Nation refugees that wanted to leave back to the Fire Nation. A few had stayed, one man having found a woman that he was quite taken with, while others found the peace of the little village more appealing than the hustle of most Fire Nation cities.
And, of course, there was Rinzo and Taka. The two soldiers hovered and smiled, doing anything that she asked, save for leave her alone for five minutes. She supposed, if they already saw her as their Fire Lady, it would be good practice for when she took the position officially.
For the new benders, they decided to build an all in one school. One side for combat training, the other for healing. It would go where her healers hut had been. They were able to bend the snow into a rough thick shape of what they wanted. Sokka and a few of the more architecturally inclined would go in and smooth out their work to make it look nice.
With the Fire Nation citizens that stayed, and the Northern Tribesmen that joined them, almost the entirety of Wolf Cove had been rebuilt, in a more modern style. They had a longhouse again, next to the bending school. There was currently construction on a larger, more secure storehouse.
If Katara hadn't been there to see construction begin, she likely wouldn't recognize it.
It was at the end of the week that Aang finally arrived on Appa.
"Whoa," Aang said, as he dropped off of Appa and looked around. "This is... I know I only saw it for a minute, but it's way different!"
"With my dad and the warriors home, we need the extra space," Katara said. She shrugged, putting her hands in the sleeves of her red koala-sheep tunic. It was getting tight again. "How's Zuko?"
Immediately, Aang cringed. "He's... Fine. Juggling Azula, foreign affairs proposals, internal issues. He's got his hands full, that's for sure."
Her heart sank. "I wish I was there to help. Did he... decide what to do with Azula?"
Aang nodded. "I took her bending."
The confession was grim, and Katara felt the weight of it as heavily as Aang did. It was a terrible decision to have to make. Azula was only a few months older than Katara, and it was Ozai that really pushed Azula into what she became, but there really wasn't much else they could do. Azula needed help, but she was too dangerous to be given it without a safeguard in place.
There had been no other options.
"Come on," Katara said, redirecting the conversation. People were starting to gather around them. "My dad is in the long house. You have a plan for the peace summit?"
"I do," Aang said, though he didn't seem sure.
Deciding not to press him, especially since she'd be getting answers soon enough anyway, Katara led him into the long house. It was by far the largest building in the tribe, meant to be able to have standing room for every member, and they built it with their soon to be growing population in mind.
"Avatar Aang," her father called, from where he was going over maps of the surrounding area with Sokka.
Her mother looked up from where she was braiding cords nearby, frowning. "Aang? The boy that attacked Zuko?"
Aang sheepishly laughed. "Err... Yeah, sorry. Katara and Sokka had just told me about the war, and I kinda freaked out."
Her mother hummed.
"Whatcha got for us?" Sokka said, before they could get distracted. "Anything from Suki? Did they head back to Kyoshi yet?"
So much for not getting distracted.
"They're still in Caldera City," Aang explained, offhandedly as he reached into his robes to pull out a tightly rolled scroll. "Chief Hakoda, this is for you."
Her father frowned, taking the scroll and breaking an orange wax seal. Katara moved to her fathers side, looking over his shoulder to read, as Sokka did the same on the other side.
It was an invitation, written in a pristine script that Katara recognized as Aang's hand writing.
You are invited to the first ever Four Nations Peace Summit. This summit is meant to bridge the divide of nations, so we can all work together to find lasting peace and balance. The leaders of each nation will be discussing various topics, including but not limited to: assigning ambassadors, trade routes, goals for the coming year. This is planned to be a three day summit, with the opening ceremony happening on the night of the first day of the ninth month, in Ba Sing Se. We are looking forward to seeing you there! - Avatar Aang of the Air Nomands
Katara felt her eye twitch. "Aang..."
"Iroh gave me a few tips when I was drafting it," the young monk said, smiling oh so proudly.
"Why does the summit start the day of the comet?!"
TreeHouse Chapter 4
"A gentleman always pays for the date."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Sienne gets more than she wants from her date with Matt
"The halls of high school may echo with love, but the future is rarely paved with it."
⚠️This Fic Series will NOT be for people with triggers. This Fic Series will have very descriptive moments of abuse.⚠️
Please Read At Your Own Risk.
Sienna's POV:
The basketball game tonight was on the outside courts because the weather was decent. Julia insisted I wear something super cute to impress Matt. I let Julia dress me up, unsure of what would impress Matt. She put me in the most uncomfortable skirt. The skin-tight long-sleeve shirt wasn't as bad, but the amount of cleavage it showed was unnecessary. The best part about the outfit was my black high-top boots. They were comfortable, and they were actually mine.
"I don't see Matt."
"Nick, either." AK was also looking.
"Are you sure you're not -"
"Everyone knows Nick is one inch taller than Matt." Both Julia and I stopped and looked at him with the same expression.
"Everyone?" We both said in unison.
"He's the oldest too. Did you know that?" He ignored our judgment.
"Anyways... Keep looking for Matt." We went back to searching for him. He seemed to be all about me, but Julia was all about finding him. He was cute, and Nick was cute. I didn't know either of them well, though, other than whatever rumors were spread around school that I chose to listen to.
"There they are." The pair walking in was like a movie scene. Almost everyone was watching them, and Nick slowly threw his head back in laughter while Matt had a hot smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. The only thing missing was if people were taking pictures and flashing lights on them.
"Matt!" Julia was quick to get his attention in our direction. He head nodded at her, and she gasped.
"Julia, he's not a celebrity." Once he saw me standing in the bleachers next to her, he held up a single finger. I couldn't help but smile. He and Nick stood in the middle of the entryway with the concessions, talking for a minute, and then Nick headed to the stand while Matt headed towards us.
"Hey Sienna," he immediately grabbed me in a hug. His smell was fresh and clean, and I wondered what soap he used in the shower. I quickly reprimanded myself for being weird and broke the hug apart. "You look amazing," he looked me up and down. I suddenly felt self-conscious.
"Thank you." I blushed and looked down slightly, letting my hair cover it.
"Where is Nick?" AK wasn't subtle about his concerns.
"He is getting us all snacks. Might need help carrying them." Matt pointed over his shoulder with his thumb.
"Peace." AK started walking down the bleachers. The three of us sat down.
"So, you like basketball?" I asked Matt, trying to figure out something to talk about.
"Yeah, it's not bad. I could never play, though. I'm the worst." I giggled at his joke.
"I'm pretty good maybe I could teach you a thing or two?" I tried to be flirty. Having thee Matthew Sturniolo's attention was the best way to gain popularity in school. Not that I wanted it or cared but I knew Julia was hoping for a seat at the cool kids table so to speak.
"You play?" He leaned back to look at me.
"Yeah, I play a lot of sports." It was true. Whether I was good or not was a different story. I was pretty much mediocre at all of them except swimming. I have won a few awards from competitions at our school and outside organizations where I competed. Swimming was a freeing feeling. Being under the water, everything stopped.
"That's pretty cool." He wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and I saw Julia start to freak out. Nick and AK came back, holding everything haphazardly.
"Drinks. Candy. Popcorn." They started dishing it all out.
"You didn't have to buy us anything." I started saying.
"Of course I did. A gentleman always pays for the date." He smirked that intoxicating smirk.
"Date?" Julia whispered behind us while looking at AK.
"Thank you, Matt. That's so sweet of you." I glared at her since she wasn't very quiet. The game started, and Matt paid more attention to that than me. I wasn't complaining, though; his attention made me nervous. He stood up and cheered when someone's shot went in. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom." I stood up and looked behind me at Julia. She nodded and stood up to come with me.
"He is so into you." She gushed as soon as we were further down the bleachers.
"I know, but... why?" I asked, holding the door for her.
"You are so cool and hot. Maybe Ms. Williams did you a favor." She had a smug grin.
"I still hate you for that."
"Hey, Matt doesn't seem to mind," she winked as she came out of the stall. As we washed our hands, I looked at myself in the mirror. I just didn't feel like myself. I felt like I was forcing it, whatever it was. "Coming?" she asked by the door. I looked down at the water running over my fingers, with no visible soap left.
"Yeah. I'll be out in a minute." I forced a smile. I dried my hands and scrolled ConNext. I let out a sigh and smiled at myself one time in the mirror. Matt was so attractive that there was no point in being with me, but we would see how the night went. I pushed the door open and started walking down between the brick wall and the gate around the sports complex.
"Hey." Matt approached me, meeting me in the middle.
"Hi." I smiled and flipped my hair over my shoulder.
"You enjoying the game?" He looked fidgety.
"Uh, yeah." I lied. I didn't really enjoy watching it as much as I did playing it, and I couldn't stop wondering why he was suddenly showing interest in me the whole time, so I was just distracted all around. "What about you?"
"It's good. Wish we could talk more." He leaned back against the wall.
"About what?" I asked, skeptical.
"Just in general. I wanna talk about anything." He shrugged.
"Okay, let's start with why you are suddenly interested in me." The words left my mouth before I could make them sound flirtatious.
"Oh." He straightened up. "I guess I always kinda had eyes for you. You're really nice, and I like your style." He looked me up and down and wasn't afraid to make it obvious. I felt my cheeks get hot at his actions.
"Really?" I asked, a little shocked. I had no idea I had been on his radar for a while or even at all.
"Of course." He stepped closer to me and tugged me into him. "Why not?" He whispered. He pulled me into him, and I didn't hesitate. I felt his lips press on mine, and I melted into the touch. He was definitely experienced. His motions were swift and sensual. He moaned a little as his long fingers worked their way down into my skirt from my hips.
"No." I pushed back a little. He gripped me and pulled me in. Gripping me tightly.
"No?" He asked, looking into my eyes. His eyes gave me that sense of comfort again, but I knew my own personal boundaries.
"N.. no..." I stuttered. I was sure of my answer but unsure of his harsh actions holding me still.
"Come on." He started sucking on my neck, and his fingers played with my underwear band.
"No, Matt." I pushed myself off of him again. I made it free from his grip and marched back to Julia. Matt wasn't far behind me.
"Hey." She was unaware of what had happened. Matt awkwardly put his arm around my shoulder again, holding me close to him. I didn't want to ruin the mood for the rest of the game, so I didn't say anything then, but I planned on telling her everything tomorrow.
honestly still the biggest personal tragedy of session 5 is that when grian joined gem in the tower building. in gems episode, there were almost a solid 10 minutes of just that. them hanging out, calm, peaceful, no danger, away from people that could hurt them . and guess what ? grian left LESS THAN 3 MINUTES OF THAT IN HIS EPISODE dbjksffejw
#rant in tags#gems episode straight up got me to start drawing the most complicated fanart in a year or so just of that scene#and grian just. cut most of it out#(gem probably did too. but come on g. only 3??)#i think i know what im feeling. i called it in a yt comment on session 2 or so#im clinging to the last remains of peace and happiness we get#i watched every pov and i think this episode grian's is my favourite (even if he cut out most of my fav scene overall)#he almost died' rigged a charity' loved bdubs and built a tower. it was nice#he barely interacted with the reds (love them too but). he was just hanging out. the cleo&etho&grian & i guess bdubs team is my fav#literally not a single spec of danger in that house. all positivity (thanks etho for starting the 'we love bdubs' day too bdw)#even martyns single trap got disarmed immediately#i was hoping for an grian & cleo team because of the potential for chaos but i think i love this more at least for now#ive been thinking too. the heart foundation honestly stresses me out so much#i love them with all my heart. i do#but i dont trust bigb at all. havent since episode one and wont start now. feels like that man has no loyalty to tango and skizz#hes very fun dont get me wrong but he makes me worried. i still have no idea what his deal is#theyre also very open. no fortification ( i like walls theyre safe)#and their system is very easy to rig (as shown in this episode)#(also bigb straight up saw grian throw his quartz in and said NOTHING)#“this is a death game! why do you not want death? what are you even here for?” SHUSH#this is all /positive. its good stress#(and i love death and betrayal martyn's win is my fav ending so far)#i just got too used to the peace and happiness at the beginning#i did not mean to rant this much but i have a lot of feelings about this series i dont have anywhere else to express#trafficblr#secret life
Suddenly getting sad over Mondatta's death again. He really was my friend. He welcomed me with open arms and made me feel so at home. He taught me a lot and I showed him a lot about humans too. He wasn't just a master or teacher to me, he was a friend- a brother.
April, my s/i, was there in London the day he was killed. She tried to save him, but...it was pointless. It's a memory that will haunt her for the rest of her life.
