as someone who did pointe for nearly ten years and is now trying in vain to break in my first new pair of docs I love this

what avril lavigne doesnt understand is that being a punk and doing ballet is so much less of a binary than one might think. punks and ballerinas have to work so hard to break in their cool shoes (doc martens/pointe shoes) and then they continue to give you blisters even after you thought they were sufficiently broken in.
