Lets talk about Nova for a bit. I find it really interesting that Raka does not know why all humans are named 'Nova', but confirmed it definitely has to do with our sweet Nova who Maurice adopts in War.

I like to think that Caesar's clan started calling humans Nova as a way to honor her. She did help Caesar at one of his lowest points and contributed to them escaping the Colonel. She must've lived with them for the remainder of her life, and the apes accepted her as one of them. It would be nice to get more clarification later on. I will cry if this ends up being true lol

The Nova name does get depressing tho. As we all remember, Nova was infected when the virus started mutating and her cognitive skills were being taken from her. It was so sad that this little girl could not speak but thankfully, Maurice was teaching her sign language and she was learning. In kingdom, obviously the virus got worse and now the human population (aka Nova's and Echo's) is hanging by a thread (Or so we think we don't know how many other bunkers are out there lol) It's crazy to think that this virus that was meant to be a cure for a disease in the first place; became the downfall of humanity.

Danny Fenton, aka Phantom, has been given a new task!

In short, literally no one in the Ghost Zone/Infinite Realms wants their mostly peaceful afterlife to be rocked by a certain Gotham rogue named Joker. Which, when he dies, is almost sure to happen because of whatever the hell was in that vat he dropped in included ectoplasm. So, yay, he’s also a little ghostly too, meaning he *is* pretty hard to kill. Unfortunately, there’s also a certain vigilante that is quite keen to murder him in recent years.

So now Danny has to keep the mass murderer trauma clown alive for as long as he possibly can while attempting to keep the Joker from. Well. Being the Joker.

Oh, and naturally, Danny got this assignment AFTER Joker got out of Arkham. Again. And entirely blew up the asylum. Time to join the Goonion, he is NOT doing this without getting PAID, thank you.

Incorrect, the fact that Biden has dropped out and a candidate with history of supporting medicare for all and being more receptive to a ceasefire in the I/P conflict has made me go from "I cannot morally support the Democratic nominee" to "I am voting for the Democratic nominee despite the fact she isn't perfect in every respect." I'm really happy this played out. The Dems for the most part abandoned the old Obama platform and it feels like its possible an actual progressive agenda could come to pass in my lifetime.

thinking about klavier gavin again because i saw someone say that the fact that he's the only prosecutor in the series who wants to find the truth and isn't insanely obsessed with winning like the other prosecutors makes him really boring

and i understand it to some extent when comparing him to other prosecutors but... Klavier Gavin??? BORING????

after playing aa4 i was OBSESSED with klavier gavin and the untouched potential of this guy

he loses his best friend/bandmate, his brother AND his mentor in the span of like a year?? i think??? which is INSANE.

there's something very tragic about klavier, a person who values finding the truth above all else, finding out that two of the people closest to him betrayed his trust and lied to him and used him for their own means AND ARE MURDERERS.

and then his mentor, a person who taught that seeking the truth is what a lawyer should do, gets murdered by a person who believes that winning in trials is the most important thing above all else WHICH IS THE SAME EXACT THING THAT KRISTOPH VALUED AS WELL !!!

this core belief of finding out the truth that klavier has, leads him to finding out about the things that daryan and kristoph did, and even though they are important to him, people he CARES about, he continues to work with apollo to see that justice is served.

and the fact that we don't get to see anything of klavier getting any closure after the events of aa4 makes me insane

we never get to see much of klavier's feelings on what happened or him fully processing the events of aa4 and that one case in aa5 and it makes me soooo upset. i wish he got more than that little cameo in aa5 and that one tiny flashback appearance in aa6.

in an alternate universe, aa4 got a true sequel that fully explored klavier's character, as well as phoenix's, klavier's, AND apollo's relationship with kristoph, and klavier's relationship with phoenix post-aa4, and also a more thought out? (for the lack of a better word) backstory for apollo, and an exploration of the jury system, and a game that ACTUALLY built upon the foundation that aa4 laid out.

and i am forever upset that we are not in that alternate universe.

I'm going to be so real I do not understand tim & steph shippers who feel that Steph dating Tim again would save her character. You can make an argument that giving Tim a more compelling love interest would be beneficial for him! And you can at least make an argument that the fujo mischaracterization of Steph would stop. However she'd still, inevitably, be treated as a prop character/extension for someone more popular 😭 it also wouldn't make her appear in more books! i actually wasn’t done talking about body types lmao, but like samatoki clearly has the musculature to support his fighting lifestyle so it think it’s hilarious that after getting soul swapped with ichiro in the tdd soul swap event, he actually felt the need to work out more bc ichiro had that much more muscle on his body LOL

Me, a few episodes in: Wait, the protag really is going to be my character? The one I identify with the most? Seriously? It's not going to be a strange, at least somewhat sinister, seemingly hostile male side character? It's gonna be a female character and the protagonist? That's insane, that literally never happens... what's the catch??

Me, more than halfway through the season: ... huh, I guess Maomao really is it. Okay, then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Me to myself, after episodes 22/23:

#i let my guard down #i should have known #like really i should know better by now lmao #that's probably the best depiction of prosopagnosia i've seen in fiction ngl #also luo//men's suggestion re: using other attributes to tell people apart??#A++ approach what a guy #mine isn't nearly as severe but i totally use footsteps/gait/mannerisms as my primary means of distinguishing people #the very few people i care about i can definitely recognize by facial features #and people i see frequently; though i do have trouble recognizing them if they appear in a context i'm not used to #like. if i were to see one of my sword classmates at my workplace for instance i would have trouble recognizing them #but anyone else? forget it #the most difficult part of working veterinary front desk was returning animals to their owners #bc even though i could have /just/ spoken with the owners like. ten minutes ago #i couldn't tell you which animal belonged to which owner #faces just don't register with me #dogs were easier in that i'd just let them lead me to their owners #but if it was a cat in a carrier i was fucked lmaooo #it's why if there was another receptionist working i'd let them handle any hand offs XDD #i don't remember most of my childhood but i have some very vivid impressions of moments like #my mother asking me to go give a cash tip to the hairdresser who did her hair and me being unable to pick who it was out #of everyone that was working even though i'd been there with them for two plus hours.#or like. taking the school bus home and being unable to recognize my bus monitor and so getting on the wrong bus #and also getting ridiculed about this by my parents lol. ah good times.#on the other hand i can easily recognize a dog i've met once or twice even years later. and remember their name.#i think it all mostly comes down to disinterest for me. i've tried to change this but it's just how i am #so. he's very relatable. painfully so #also the pragmatism and rationality and hyperfixating on things.#i've never hyperfixated on another person tho and i am so grateful for that every single day #i know in my bones it would be an absolute disaster XD #withoutwords
