hey so i know that its totally agreeable and most likely the intention of these lines that arthur doesnt want the butcher to find out about john, but allow me to read too far in between the lines for a second. arthur hasnt gotten a description of what his eyes are like, not since the beginning of the show with the police officers. even then it was vague.

ps its fucking hilarious both characters to mention it go by some variation of collin in the transcripts. but do you think that arthur appreciated knowing what he looked like? or do you think he hated what john had done to him? in both interactions arthurs reply after having the news broken to him was irritated and tired. do you think he struggled to hide his hate for what his eyes now looked like? specifically with the butcher, where arthur was particularly scared, where he gives the more defensive and aggressive reply, do you think he was just upset at john? because in most cases he doesnt bother with a witty reply.

im just curious if im going crazy or if theres something else here. maybe im just desperate to see arthur mourning his vision in a sort of way because im certain that he mentions somewhere in the first season being a very visual person but i cant for the life of me remember where. i want a scene where he so truly and thoroughly unpacks how fucking lost he is, only being guided verbally not even with a soft hand on the shoulder or forearm. i think ive only truly seen this done in fanfics, but i still love the idea and ill hold onto it til i die

honestly given the fact how he reacts to pomni swearing for the first time, i think he is against swearing... add in the fact he stresses that the circus is a place for all ages... like sure he understands that you know its censored, but i think its the idea behind it.. i think he would scold you and try to get you to tone it down; the hypothetical children arent that dense, they can likely pick up on what youre saying!

now i know that her doing her little strings of swears was just her testing out the censoring thing, but i like to think that pomni has a bit of a fowl mouth.. kinda... like shes more of a nervous swearer, like how some people are nervous laughers.. though i think pomni is a laugher too.. moving on, i dont think she would feel this way or that about youre swearing, if anything she might be a little uncomfortable if youre dropping a swear every few words

not many ideas here either, zooble also doesnt feel this way or that about swearing and we do see them swearing and flipping the gang off before being brutally dismantled by the gloinks... though i think she would be annoyed by excessive swearing

see while some of the others may be uncomfortable, zooble just gets annoyed by it if youre dropping an f bomb every other word. gives off the energy of someone who just learned the word and thinks theyre cool for using it when really. its just a word, you know? otherwise if youre not being annoying about it zooble doesnt give a flying fuck

now gangle is interesting, because i think she stands between the line of discomfort and annoyance if its excessive

i just finished watching ep five... can i know your thoughts on it

OUGH... so many thoughts my dude... where do i even start...

well first of all this episode completely wrecked me emotionally. domestic violence is always hard to watch, but damn did they do their best to make it as horrible as possible (in a good way! its amazing how studio lan sheds light on these kinds of things happening). the animation - the expressions, the hitting, the bruises - the audio design - god the sounds of the violence alone were so fucking heartwrenching. and then the involvement of the kids too. it was so so painful to watch but it was so incredibly well done.

we finally get to know more about the two siblings (and also confirmation that the two are actually involved! plus that lu guang turns out not to be the good brother in the childrens drawing). the scene with cheng xiaoshi being amused about the brother's behaviour and childish thinking seems funny at first, but when you later see the family situation theyre in, it all just makes so much painful sense. he has all this rage and strong sense of justice in him bc they are growing up in this unstable household full of violence. its heartbreaking.

the boy the brother met at the fountain, i first thought it was a young cheng xiaoshi bc of the haircut, but his voice was very different so now im perplexed. they could just be trying to throw us off here but i cant imagine them picking such a drastically different voice from cheng xiaoshi for him, especially bc we already heard his voice as a kid in s1. now my guess is maybe a young qian jin? it would check out with what we know about younger him. and i mean were 5 episodes in we kinda need to get to all the connections eventually.

now, lu guang and cheng xiaoshi. i've already seen people on reddit talk about how lu guang seems off again this episode. what particularly makes me think though is that one scene where their connection supposedly went "bad". i mean, everything, especially in animation, is very intentional so there must be much more to it. im wondering if someone interfered with their connection. one theory i also saw and thought about it a bit more on my own: what if red eyes - either one of the siblings - somehow possessed lu guang during their dive for a short time, making him unable to talk to cheng xiaoshi on his own, hence the silence. and after that he also doesnt realize he was silent for a while. and bc one of the siblings took hold over him for a sec, they saw what lu guang saw and that would explain why the sister supposedly knows cheng xiaoshi (and wants to talk to him at the police station) and that he was involved with her past through the dive. though i guess she could also know about him from qian jin. idk, I JUST HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

all in all a fucking fantastic episode but i did have to take a break after watching it. its very emotionally draining. but you can definitely tell the care and thought they put into this.

OH WAIT I ALMOST FORGOT. the little soft expressions and smiles from lu guang when cheng xiaoshi acted cute as xixi in the episode made me explode<3 gdi once again cheng xiaoshi never sees his soft expressions, LU GUANG LOOK AT HIM LIKE THAT WHEN HE CAN SEE.

TLDR: the writers fundamentally don't understand the story they wrote because they don't understand the real world it's meant to reflect.

long version:

I saw someone on twitter make an interesting observation about the s1 prologue opening where vi & powder are on the bridge - only one enforcer has the evil hallucination scribbles on their face, likely the one who killed the sisters' parents. to me this just speaks volumes about the fact that the writers only utilize police brutality & systemic oppression as a tool for some traumatic character backstories and not to actually make any intelligent social commentary. the writers recognize that police brutality is obviously bad but the way they make their characters talk about the oppression they face makes it clear the writers aren't interested in exploring larger systemic issues in Piltover/Zaun. it's extremely surface-level stuff.

especially after s1 act 1, Vi only negatively talks about enforcers relating to how they killed her parents. the failed uprising that resulted the death of Vi & Powder's parents is portrayed like a naive decision on the Zaunites' part that led to "senseless" slaughter rather than the inevitable result of decades of oppression on Piltover's part. the root cause ofclass inequality between the cities never gets properly addressed, let alone resolved, it's there for set dressing.

Ekko gives Caitlyn shit for being a piltie but doesnt have the same attitude toward Heimerdinger who, as a councilor, is directly responsible for the poverty in Zaun.

a scene that's always particularly irked me is in S1 where Vi and Jayce attack one of the shimmer factories and Jayce accidentally kills a kid, Vi says something along the lines of "that kid knew what he was getting into when he took that job" which is fucking CRAZY? Vi of all people should KNOW that Zaunites don't have the luxury to choose "good" jobs. also the fact that it's a CHILD working in a factory (irrespective of the fact that his mom is a chembaron??) should tell you how truly desperate these people are for any damn money. if you have to send your CHILD to work that means YOU'RE REALLY FUCKING POOR! I'm not even mad at Vi for saying this, I'm mad at the writers for throwing that out there, making a character who should be able to empathize with this kid more than anyone say something so idiotic and tone-deaf. the narrative NEVER challenges this notion. the writers clearly don't fucking understand class struggle AT ALL and it shows whenever the class inequality in question is part of the world and not just directly related to one character's trauma.

it's a shame they didn't give Jinx a proper revolutionary symbol arc. I know people have been saying "oh but she was never interested in becoming one!" but honestly that feels to me more like a failure on the writers' part rather than a natural continuation of Jinx's story. in the finale of season 1, Jinx correctly identifies the council as the source of all her past and current pain and trauma. then she gets declared a terrorist and she goes into hiding. despite all the imagery from the les miserables-ass intro shot of her waving a flag to the trailers that made it look like she was really connecting with the Jinxers, the blatant abuse of state power against them shown for split-seconds in montages and music videos - they just sorta put it out there. it doesnt cause any real uprising, it doesn't give Jinx the power and motivation to fight against her people's oppression, there's no real lasting tension between her and her class traitor of a sister - it all goes out the window because they have to fight a "common enemy". we see Jinxers & other Zaunites lose their lives fighting for the people that starved and gassed them, what reward to they get once the war is over? Sevika gets a seat on the council? that's the most blatantly obvious lib shit I've ever fucking seen. I can barely put into words how much this season pissed me off. honestly, it makes sense with all the centrist word salad the showrunners have been throwing out there that they have 0 understanding of politics or socioeconomics or anything important for that matter.

I wish they'd given Vi any agency at all this season. I wish Cait's horrifying actions hadnt gotten glossed over and excused as "she's grieving and getting manipulated🥺🥺", I needed to see the oppressors face real consequences.

IMHO Ekko & Jinx should've gotten to lead their people into an uprising against Piltover's politicians & the Firelights should've become the leaders of an independent Zaun, none of that "put one Zaunite on the council and call it a day" bullshit.

honestly this all speaks to the fact that the writers fundamentally don't understand the story they wrote because they don't understand the real world it's meant to reflect. I think this is the fatal flaw of Arcane's writing. it makes observations about real issues but draws entirely false conclusions from them.

they fail to identify the cause of real world issues and misattribute them to individual personal failures. e.g. they acknowledge that the cycle of killing/violence started before Jinx & Vi or even Slico & Vander but STILL have Jinx leave because "the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away"?

I have many, many more things to say about how disappointed I am with the writing this season & how it soured my view on what I thought was a near perfect S1 but this post is long enough as is and Idek if anyone cares😭😭 but yeah Arcane has always been better at telling very personal stories of trauma & troubled relationships etc. and really suffers when this individualistic perspective is applied to larger political & systemic issues since again, the writers lack the education, insight & understanding needed to handle big topics like that. I'm hardly saying I'm a better writer than anyone on the team but just my thoughts

No actually I need to add on more to this. Arcane very unfortunately suffers the same issue that a lot of "progressive" shows suffer in Western media, where they go like "here are some real, systemic issues that exist and look at the consequences of these issues", and then either (1) forget to continue with the theme, and/or (2) don't do anything about it beyond slap on a half-hearted Band-Aid solution that never addresses it.

Caitlyn gassing civilians; lack of accessibility for Viktor which created barriers for him due to his disability; enforcers as oppressors, going hand in hand with Noxian imperialism; Jayce weaponzing hextech, and him already having killed a child because of it; not a single moment is really spent on any of these in S2. If anything, the enforcers are really flattened at the end of this season with little nuance, the complexity that shone in characters like Marcus and Grayson disappearing. Many Piltovan characters do not get even a single second of introspection as to how their actions actively contribute to the oppression of Zaun.

holly’s bizarre gang violence. no this isnt a part 5 rip off fuck off

holly is a kid of two immigrants and is half-italian during the 1940s and 50s in fucking new york city. she deeefinitely knew about the gang scene and i am certain she felt strongly about it

she is also joseph “hehe” joestar and suzi “im gonna mock my crush over his face” q’s daughter she DEFINITELY had a smart mouth and was pretty impulsive and messy ESPEICALLY as a teenager (adult hormones but child critical thinking. tragic.). also she is lisalisa’s grandaughter so there is noo way she didnt know hamon. she absolutely knew hamon. i’ll get into why we dont see her use it later but she used it a lot as a kid okay

anyway so in combination with this. joseph and suzi r rich so they send holly to private schools to try and shelter her from the tense social atmopshere but it doesnt really work cause she likes sniffing out trouble just like joseph. and as we’ll see jotaro inherit, holly has a strong sense of justice...

so. im sure she witnesses many turf scuffles or at least feels the effect of the results of them. and she does not like how smug and cruel the winner of them are (like this dude and his gang will beat rival gangs into unconsciousness/death). she doesnt like that he’s taking over new york either. this is her city dammit! so she goes to join a gang and beat him back

the leader of the gang she tries to join originally is very against it. let’s call her rosa. rosa’s also a crazy teenager btw. rosa is like “you think this is a game, huh little girl? just some sort of extracurricular you can leave at the door of your penthouse? this is my real life and safety you bitch” and holly is like “IT’S NOT A GAME TO ME” they probably beat each other up. but then holly shows off hamon and rosa is like ohhhh okay. i still don’t trust you but i can use you. esp when it’s apparent hamon can heal ppl

so holly joins this gang after some hazing (im sure she commits some petty crime and definitely almost gets caught every time but she pulls the typical joestar bullshit to get out of it). eventually the gang does come to trust her though and they’re an army made of kids. holly loves the fights they get into cause 1) she loves dishing out what she firmly believes is justice 2) she gets really exhilerated during the fighting she loves the rush of energy that comes w adrenaline and using hamon and 3) she loves hanging out with these guys. theyre her friends

holly definitely gets into trouble all the time and the gang always tells her that she has to calm down a little (usually jokingly) but it kinda just spurs holly on. she loves feleing so powerful and competent

eventually the gang that was taking over new york takes notice of them scraping away at their turf. holly boldly challenges them for the rest of it and snarks about how she could take them down herself. they are annoyed but agree to the fight and a rumble goes down. the night before it happens im sure rosa and holly do some gay things but holly doesnt kiss and tell and rosa DEFINITELY doesnt so who knows for sure.

anyway holly is strong but she’s not a one man army like she had kinda ended up thinking of herself as, and the rival gang brought guns. also the rival gang probably bought out the police so no help is coming

holly probably does manage to kill the leader so at least he’s out of the way. but her cockiness leads to her gang dying out. particularly im thinking, since holly was being such a shit to them, the gang was targetting her specifically, so rosa takes a hit for her.

rosa tells her to live her little rich girl life as a throwback to what she said when they first met, and holly cries. she tries healing her with hamon but holly has never been actually trained in the art of hamon and also there’s only so much hamon can do with so many wounds, one of which being a bullet wound in the ribs. so rosa dies. sorry gays

anyway after this holly decides she can’t use hamon anymore because it only lead to death she couldn’t prevent in the end. and she also decides to scale back her willingness to fight because in her mind, if she hadnt been so eager to pummel and hadn’t snarked so much, her gang might still be alive. basically. holly had a fighting spirit but she smothers it because she’s convinced it can only lead to her loved ones being hurt. violence makes her sick now

which is why her stand was killing her. it’s not that holly had no fighting spirit, as evident by the fact she started developing a stand in the first place, it’s just that she pushes it down, down, down, because she’s sure it will only hurt those she loves. and her taking jotaro’s shit is an echo of her not wanting to be snarky/rude anymore because shes certain it will only make things worse

but after egypt she sees how this philosophy only ended up hurting her family, which was the exact opposite of why she cultivated it in the first place, so she allows herself to relearn how to be assertive and such again (which in turn means she gets her stand now fuck off). but man.

Alsooo what I loved was when Anakin was horny (basically the whole time Obi-Wan was talking) vs when he started to get anxious (when he wasnt sure if this was a random call, the idea that Qui-Gon was gonna cause some Problems). The first being complete confidence that Obi-Wan had control over the situation (and in a way Anakin had control over, by proxy, bc he shaped Obi-Wan) vs the latter being something neither of them had control over, completely enacted by outside forces. I just thought it was a neat little thing

Even though he’s tired of dealing with Clovis and Clovis’ girl, he knows he has some level of control over them so he’s not particularly stressed about the nuisance they’re being—he even starts thinking about how obi-wan is going to react to smelling her perfume on him later when he lands

(Imagine how it’ll play out when he does land and get to the police station and goes to hug obi-wan, forgetting all about the woman only for that to be the first thing obi-wan notices lol)

But the second he realizes he may not have total control over something that is His…he loses his shit. That’s his little mouse, his Obi-Wan, and now someone is going to take him from him even though he’s worked so hard to make sure obi-wan knows his place is by him, and he wants to stay there at his side.

i am a known #jjhater but i actually really love her relationship with hotch?? i dont think jj herself is well written, but i like the dynamic between the two.

i like that jj has a very skewed perception of hotch? she definitely takes him at face value in the first 4 seasons. she thinks he’s emotionless and abrasive.. but she respects that? its how she was raised to be. so she admires him for being unaffected by the job, for asserting himself and getting what he wants, not realizing that he’s not really like that at all.

i think foyet was a bit of an awakening for jj. bc now she Knows he must be suffering, even when he’s not showing it. so she learns that “gee maybe he still has emotions even tho he doesnt talk ab them.” but she’s still not at the point where she’s comfortable talking to him. i think she really realizes that how much he cares in season six—both with the way he fought hard to try to keep her in the bau, and with the lengths he was willing to go to save emily. hotch himself has gotten a little less guarded over the seasons, particularly season 7 on, so that also helps. she sees him as a bit more human

but beyond her misjudgment, i find their actual relationship super interesting. i cant remember where but there was one interview back from season one talking ab the chars and someone said jj was like hotch’s intern. which they said mostly as a joke, but its stuck with me bc of how true it actually is? not an actual fucking intern akdhak but like… his mentee almost? reid had gideon and jj had hotch. not as explicitly teacher/student as gideon/reid, but the toned down version (which works better for both of their characters anyway). reid and gideon are more ab the intelligence aspect, while jj and hotch are more on the bureaucratic side. reid/gideon can focus on the profile, while jj/hotch deal with everything behind the scenes: the paperwork, the media, the police, the reports, etc. hotch also obviously works on the profile—especially since thats what we see him do the most—but thats only ab half his job. the rest of it was the stuff gideon hated about being unit chief (which makes me think hotch probably did the paperwork for team even before he became unit chief so gideon wouldnt have to). i mean he’s apparently been handling most of the reports for the rest of the team for fucks sake.

and jj has to do the same thing. i bully her for never doing shit on the show lmao but to be fair thats bc most of her job is when theyre at quantico between cases. and in the brief moments we do see them doing the paperwork, they usually interact. he’s either doing it with her or just checkin in on her since they’re the only ones on the team that are left in the office. they spend the most time together when they’re at the office while the others are working on cases or doing interviews or consultations or whatever else they have to do. she respects and admires him: she’s gonna look up to him. he wants to help her. its an unspoken mentorship that both are too emotionally constipated to acknowledge.

she doesnt always get the point of the lesson (like the birthright episode) but she’s been studying under him for years. and she picks up stuff quick. she’s grown more capable (allegedly) and more confident throughout the seasons. he’s seen her through one job to the next: tbh it would make more sense for her to be unit chief after hotch leaves. she would be taking up the mantle, and this would be the last thing he leaves her with. it would feel full circle. (pretending like she’d actually be good at the job—but it still makes more sense than bringing an extremely overqualified emily back)

anyway i love their relationship. neither of them are the best at communication, so they both interpret each other’s actions/words in a way that makes them hate themselves the most: they’re only hearing what they want to hear. they’re probably the most self loathing on the team, so p much everything they say feels like an emotional blow (i want to be clear: not at each other, eg hotch taking jj’s “youre a bully” comment to heart even tho she was essentially in the middle of a breakdown when she said it). they’re alike in so many ways but the way they view the world couldnt be more different. they’re mirrors, but they’re opposites. they show their love in completely different ways

ep 20 : AH YES, THE FREAKSHOW EPISODE. im fairly certain i only saw this episode once as a kid, because the plot beats of the episode took me by surprise on rewatch. but i do remember something about danny with the red eyes and almost getting himself in hot water constantly. maybe this episode left that kinda impact on me that i never wanted to watch it again, im unsure.

i know i saw reality trip a lot more bc i can just...remember the name of it off the top of my head. but i have to wonder why this guy was chosen as the season finale villain twice, considering he NEVER shows up in any other episodes besides these finales. or if he does, i just didnt pay attention oops

okay immediately i think i remember why i didnt like this episode that much, it was the designs of the ghosts that freakshow had enslaved. im not really sure, none of them are particularly bad. but they're really bland outside of the tattoo ghost girl. and even then, i was staring at her design thinking "wait, this is a kids show right"

i know showing skin isnt inherently sexual by nature, but she's literally wearing a corsette that barely covers her chest from the waist up, and she doesnt have ANY pants on. she still looks cool though, im just an adult and can now see things i did not see as a child.

sam's family gets properly introduced in this episode, and it's interesting to see them semi-respect her choices in lifestyle. like, yeah, they still want to pamper their daughter into being more pastel and happy vibes. but they let her darken her room and dress it however she'd like, which is nice. they only really question her choices bc danny looks really sus hanging out with her sometimes LMAO. which is funny cause danny is probably the most chill dude surface-wise to just have as a friend, if the ghost powers weren't involved. he's just unfortunately walking into the room at the worst time.

i appreciate that her grandmother is more open to sam's antics, it's nice to see an older portrayal of an adult not be senile and rude. she's a fun-having woman who only wants the best for her granddaughter, but also wants her granddaughter to just have fun. it's v cute and sweet.

so yknow those comics that people make about how danny just transforms blatantly in the open sometimes bc the animators are tryna show off of a little. this is probably one of the most show-off-my-powers one yet. he literally jumps on top of a truck while STILL HUMAN, leaps off the back of it and transforms midair, and then launches himself up. which is BEYOND extra when you consider there's police literally coming down the road as he does this.

the goth dude walking up to danny and spray-painting his shirt black, then proudly saying "you're one of us now" was so fucking real, that was GENUINE. this episode has so many fucking one-liners that got me laughing so hard. the fentons getting antsy over being mocked for wearing jumpsuits, which are admittedly cool af (thank you evangelion for teaching me that). the smash cut from sam saying "lancer let us out" to lancer trapped in the closet screaming "LET ME OUT."

i really would like to know if the staff freakshow uses has some sorta of ties to the ghost zone, or if it was just the episode macguffin. bc lorewise, what if pariah dark used this shit or something in the past? or idk, it links back to the origins of the ghost zone? any they introduce artifacts that can interact with ghosts, i just wanna know WHERE it came from. what's THE LORE.

this episode ends up diminishing phantom's reputation with the town since he gets forced into committing crimes against both vendors and literal police in broad daylight (or moonlight). i suppose that's supposed to explain away why people backtrack on trusting him, but even so, i find it odd that previous alliances dont get brought up again.

sam's grandmother calls sam 'bubeleh,' which iirc is a Jewish term of endearment for someone you cherish? it's nice to see a subtle nod towards Jewish family and beliefs, it's a really cute lil detail that i love.

i really wish this show had been preserved in something higher than 360p, because there's shots and sequences in here that look fantastic, and im sure would be GORGEOUS in 480p or higher. the shot of sam falling off the train while danny dives to save her, despite still being under the influence of the crystal, it'd be nice to see that in any higher resolution. because this is what it looks like at 360p.

this episode almost feels like it could be a season finale if it had been given a 1 hour block treatment maybe? like the makings are all there, and danny ruining his reputation for the forseeable future has potential in the episode itself. there's literally a line where danny says "hey what if we stayed behind to explain to authority what happened to us" and the other ghosts just run bc they dont wanna. so danny has to just forgo apologizing to the public for his actions and leave the broken glass where it lies. i could imagine a sequence of danny walking out of the train and trying to explain what happened to overbearing and hateful figures, with a good chunk of people believing him and others dont. but this is once again me writing a fanfic in my own rewatch, so dont mind my rambles

freakshow is a fine villain, far from a favourite. it's weird how he's almost like a ghost despite being human. his family was supposedly controlling ghosts for centuries using the crystal artifact, which just leads to more questions as to where they got it, how long has it existed, did his family know about ghosts and for how long, etc. more lore for the graphic novel to exploit im sure teehee

fun episode, banger jokes, good sequence at the end of danny redeeming himself by saving sam, her grandmother kicks ass.

Detective Darius Morgan Headcanons

Listen. I know there's hardly any content of him. I dont know how much this will be appreciated. But if the same for 4 people who saw my post asking if anyone wanted this see it, I win.

Be warned, its 2k words (just under, probably) because I have nothing to do at work. At all. *deepest of sighs*

Should be SFW!!! Some things are referenced but im not in the mood to talk about too much Naughtiness so its SFW.

If the flow is weird, my apologies. I tried to group stuff together and so I may have gone back to sections where the next section goes off something I said in part of the section above... you'll understand as you read.

I'm gonna start with casual, out of work attire. I genuinely don't think you would find him in loungewear EVER outside his home. So no sweatpants.... although maybe a sweatshirt on laundry day. I'm also thinking, even though he probably doesn't get a fat paycheque, he tries to dress well. He doesn't think about fashion but good lord, Marius wouldn't believe it. "I just buy what looks nice." in the once in three blue moons that he actually goes to get new clothes. He works every day, probably, so anything that's not work is casual and probably very worn.

I think, yanno those like school varsity football jackets? Um yeah he still wears his. Its not because he tries to show off, but those things are comfortable, warm, and if he happens to be with someone who forgets to bring a warm layer, he can give it to them and he secretly loves watching their expressions.

("Oh... my god this is so warm!" "Mhmm." "I'm keeping this forever. Sorry, its mine now." "Is your last name Morgan too, then? Huh, I didn't know." Motherfucker.)

P.s: he hates suits even if his work uniform is basically a suit without the suit jacket. If he has to wear a suit, its all black. That is all. Also yes he would wear the three-piece suit. Go all out or nothing. Maybe a dark blue vest for some flavor with a matching tie.... idk. Brainrot of Darius in an all black three-piece suit........... suspenders......... aaah... yep.

Ok speaking of. I really don't think he's super chatty. He's tired. I'm honestly thinking very Eddie Brock (Venom) vibes with him tbfh. But I think when he does talk, he's slick as FUCK. He probably likes to see you blush as your scramble for a response. Hes smooth tho. He doesnt let you scramble for long. Also would ruffle your hair (if you have some and didn't stop him). He chuckles a lot. I imagine his voice as deep, but since I play TOT with the sounds off, idk if they have a voice actor for him. But look at him. Hes got a great morning voice oh good lord now im thinking about his morning voice aaaaaah crap.

I also think, once a relationship is established, hes very doting and soft. Hes protective- he knows who he is, he knows that the police are not loved. (And he knows why. Honestly I'm not sure how to... write about that, though, and its also not my place to... so anyone who'd like to write about that may. Just yanno remember to be respectful to people and irl events.) So he knows that if he fucks up or a mistake comes to bite him in the ass, you might be in danger. He knows you can probably handle yourself, but he also thinks of all the worst scenarios. He doesn't want the most important person to him in any danger.

Honestly I think he would be very reluctant to a relationship. But, unlike three of the boys (Luke, Artem, and Marius), he and Vyn have something in common- hes definitely at least had some one-night-stands. Maybe after particularly rough days or weeks. Stress coping. Not gonna talk about if its wise or not.

Because, like, come on. Hes at leeeeast thirty, making him older than the boys. So he may be experienced in bed, but romance is tricky and he denies or hides his feeling like a teenager afraid of his crush. (Re: ohmygod they would be in danger tho if I confessed oh no I can never tell them!) Of course, he would confess while expressing that he is worried about you.

He also loves to see you in his blue uniform shirt. I dont know if either of you acknowledge it aloud, but since you grabbed it and put it on that one time... yeah. Yep.

But yeah hes a softy underneath all the brooding and tired exterior.

(Bonus: If u like... uh.... his cuffs..... yep thats all)

I dont believe he can cook much. Like, beyond the basics, he has like. 2 dishes that he can reliably cook. Hes a simple man, he knows how to vary them, but come on, its not like he has much time to cook stuff. You realize this quickly and while you dont have much time either, you meet him halfway... or more than halfway. Also, hey, carryout/delivery isn't so bad every once in a while. He'll work on it if you bring it up. He doesn't really notice until you do. Thats the first time you see him embarrassed. He's kinda cute as he apologizes, and it makes up for your slight annoyance at eating the meal for the third time. Hes used to his way of living, he might (definitely) forget people live differently than he does. Hes cute, I forgive him.

As a boyfriend, he does his darnedest. He literally doesn't care what he does with you, as long as its with you. When you ask him for date ideas, he thinks of some favors he can cash in to show you secret or expensive places. Those upper class jerks are good for one thing, if it makes you smile and if it impresses you. Because, of course, hes been here when it opened, so his attention is on you. (His eyes may not be, but hes much more attentive than you notice.)

I feel like hes the kind of person to snap candids of you an you dont even notice. I dont know how he would do it, but I really think he would want to remember and capture sweet moments with you. He doesnt tell you or show you these pictures, and they aren't, like, ones where you're exposed (....most of them, at least. He doesn't take pictures of you asleep for damn sure, you're not a pet.), but he just keeps them to himself. He forgets that you either know his passcode or you have your fingerprint saved in his phone, and you happen to see it because he had the album last open on his phone. Hes a sucker.

At the beginning of your relationship, I think he made a note in his notes app where he writes down your birthday, or favorite color, or things like that. Hes afraid of forgetting those things. He could never forget the day he met you, nor when the two of you admitted your feelings for each other, or when you went on your first date. He knows those dates. Hes quiet- hes thinking of those things. He doesn't mind being distracted by you.

He tries not to be super possessive because he admires your independence, but sometimes he snaps at someone like when Artem asks you to come in to work on a case on your day off. Scary Darius.

He likes holding your hand when you cross streets.

I dont think he would get jealous easily. He knows that, before he confesses, he hasn't told you, so he has no right to be upset if you flirt or spend time with someone else. And when you're together, he knows where you end up at the end of the day, so hes secure in that. If anything, if someone flirts with you and makes you uncomfortable, he checks with you first (in case you wanna defend yourself), then gives a death glare to the unlucky person. Even if you flirt back comfortably, again, he knows where the two of you end up. You in his arms, the other person unfortunately ~probably~ all alone, boohoo.

I have gotta say, I think sometimes he forgets to close doors all the way. He doesn't do it on purpose, hes just not used to people being in his home. He always puts the toilet seat down (if that applies), but cabinet doors or room doors can sometimes be left just slightly open.

His walls are kinda bare. What art he does have are monuments or architectural things. Stellis is very sleek and modern, but he knows about the older buildings. When someone else at work is reluctant to go into centuries-old buildings because they're creepy, he pretends to be annoyed but inwardly hes comfortable in them and goes without fear.

His home is usually clean, too. Its partially because he doesn't spend much time there, but also because he cleans things after use. So things aren't spick and span, but his apartment is presentable if you happen to drop by.

He shares something with Luke- i think the two of them are the only ones with any sort of pectorals. Yanno, them man boobs. Juicy muscle on the chest. (I simply refuse to believe the other boys have any beyond abs or, yanno, tone. Luke and Darius could have a nice arm wrestling match, no im not gonna say who wins.)

He tries to keep a cactus alive. He writes down when he waters it to be sure not to overwater it. Its name is Alfred and Alfred knows everything about you. He lives in the kitchen and Darius talks to him when hes cooking or nursing coffee or beer. Hes a beer guy.

I'm not sure if hes a cat person or a dog person. I think he would get along with either well. I dont know if he would have a pet, because he often has long days, and even cats need attention. Maybe if he ever gets to retire he'll get a pet. Beside himself, Alfred is the only thing living in the apartment.

He does have co-workers he spends time with outside of work. Methinks its usually at a bar or someplace like that.

I think he calls his parents every once in a while. More frequently after you start dating him. I also feel like he has a sibling but I dont know if they're older or younger. Methinks an older sister? What if she's a lawyer too!!!

(Plot twist- Celestine and Darius are related. Big just joking.... but his older sister is much like Celestine. He likes working with her.)

Idk where to put this but !! Hes a podcast guy. He listens to podcasts rather than music. He dislikes true crime with a passion (literally dont get him started because if you do, he, rightfully so, will talk for like a whole ten minutes and you won't be sure if you should be excited he talked for that long STRAIGHT or if he's ok) but he won't say anything if you listen to it. To each their own. I think he listens to podcasts talking about, like architecture or, like... news, or something. He knows what's going on in the world. Hes the first to deck any asshole. Not physically, tho. It takes a lot to get him to physical action. He has a killer glare, he knows how to insult someone (hes gotten his (un)fair share of insults or heard them thrown around). He knows how to intimidate. Usually, he can get someone to chill out or leave. If not, he would take anything outside. I think he would try not to flash his badge. If he's off the clock, he doesnt work for the city. Idk deTECtive Darius Morgan, only Darius. I dont think he likes attention.

Oh God this was much longer than I thought. I thought I would type a bit about his clothes, maybe a few habits. Good lord.

my opinion on td finalists

spoiler alert, im not a fan of most

TDI: Owen & Gwen

uh I personally don’t like either of these guys for finalists. gwen did do a lot but there were so many times where she just acted so apathetic I was like why?? are you still here?? and as for owen... I didnt like him as a character for a Long Time and he's growing on me but he just doesnt seem like finale material

I think a duncan versus leshawna finale would've been super fun to watch. especially if they teamed up to take down heather in the semifinal. those two had such a fun dynamic, especially in the triathlon episode, that I think taking it to the finale would've been fantastic. also leshawna deserved to win that season and you cannot change my mind

TDA: Duncan & Beth

duncan, while not my first choice, I can see making it through to the finale this season. but beth?? no. im sorry but shes just too much of a side character and is canonically fake nice and annoys everyone else so it doesn’t really make sense

an interesting finale would’ve been duncan versus courtney considering how volatile their relationship was this season. however, bc courtney was kinda awful to duncan, I dont think she deserves to win this season. it would be cool if there was one ending where their votes tied and they made up and decided to split the money but that just feels too tame, both for a finale and for their dynamic

harold versus duncan could be interesting, but because duncan tends to bully harold, I dont think his win would be fair in this situation. I think lindsay versus harold would be the best, as this season is about lindsay learning to take charge and come up with strategies, and while he can be off-putting and occasionally condescending, I think harold has a lot of useful skills that could really flourish in the finale

TDWT: Heather & Alejandro

while I dont ship them at all, I truly dont think there could've been a more satisfying final two. we’ve had their rivalry build up from day one, they have a ton of good songs together, it really completes heather’s arc of antagonist to antihero to protagonist. heather winning is the best ending in my mind, but I like  alejandro winning too. the only problem I have with his ending is that it only happened because heather threw in the wrong dummy-- I think it would’ve been more clever for him to have switched them or something like that

ive been thinking about some other final twos that I think would be interesting, though unable to top the canon one imo. gwen versus courtney would be really cool because of the friends turned enemies thing-- I think it would be interesting for courtney to be put in danger and gwen has a choice of saving her or going for the money and she save courtney before apologizing again (maybe dumping duncan) and the two make up and split the money. 

though I don’t really enjoy either as characters mostly due to their writing, cody and sierra would be an interesting final two. maybe cody finally stands up to sierra, or sierra struggles with wanting to be the winner of total drama or helping the boy she likes win. it definitely wouldn't be as good as the canon two but there would be a lot of clashing dynamics at play that'd be fun to explore

TDROTI: Lightning & Cameron

admittedly, I don’t remember too much from this season, but it really felt like these two kind of coasted by. I never found lightning to be a particularly compelling character and thought it weird how he suddenly went from dumb jock to evil jock in the last episode or two. cameron really felt like he was just carried through the season, similarly to beth, though I dont have as much as an issue with him winning. I dont think it was a bad finale, per se, I just think if those were the final two they should've been written better from the start

seeing as how jo really played the game and went all in, I think she would’ve been a great finalist. it would’ve been interesting to see her versus (commando?) zoey though im not the biggest zoey fan. I think a jo versus lightning finale could actually work (or brick) though if there was a jo versus cameron finale, I couldn't see him logically winning bc jo would just destroy him

TDAS: Mike & Zoey

*BIG FUCKING INHALE* no. just no. im probably not gonna say anything that’s not already been said so ill keep it short. bland, mal writing bad, have someone who's been in the game for 3 previous seasons instead of  1 make it to the ALL STARS FINALE. jfc.

you know what would’ve been an interesting finale? gwen versus courtney. they both said they wanted to reach the final two with the other one, so maybe they do! maybe they start to struggle with their friendship because of courtney’s competitive streak! maybe one of their helpers is duncan and that causes strife between them! maybe they become enemies again and don’t make up until the finale! maybe they decide to split the money! idk! it would've had a hell of a  lot more flavor than what we got

TDPI: Shawn & Sky

I don’t really have an issue with either of these characters making it to the finale. they’re compelling, worked hard, and have distinct goals. I would’ve liked to see jasmine in the finale but I'd be cool replacing either one with her: jasmine and shawn having to compete against one another would be an interesting relationship hurdle and sky versus jasmine would've been cool because they’re both very athletic and it would’ve been the first f vs f total drama finale (we've had m vs f and m vs m but no all-girl finales...)

TDRR: Surfer Dudes & Police Cadets

Again, I don’t really have an issue with this finale. I really like how Sanders and MacArthur both work hard in their own ways and have to learn how to work together (MacArthur breaking Sanders’ arm and realizing that she can negatively affect her partner and also that Sanders is super tough was a GREAT arc). I know there’s been some contention about the Surfer Dudes being eliminated and then coming back so late in the game, but it made sense to me. They chose to lose because they felt that they owed it to Devin and Carrie, and that choice paid off when Devin and Carrie called in a replacement team. I doubt the surfers expected that to happen, they were just trying to be fair, but that kindness was rewarded in a big way which I think was sweet, especially  considering how much of a hot mess this show can be. 

I gotta say, this does kinda remind me of the TDI finale, with the villain (heather/ice dancers) getting eliminated third, and their rival (gwen/police cadets) making it to the finale with the fun guy (owen/surfer dudes). The reason I like the Surfer Dudes as finalists more than Owen is that I felt they put in more effort during challenges and had more of an arc (with Josee’s mind games ending up bonding them as a team after strife, choosing to be eliminated for the sake of fairness, etc). 

Speaking of Owen, it’s kind of ironic that if I had to replace a team in the finale, I would replace the surfer dudes with the reality tv pros. they’re my favorite team and I think it wouldve been great for them to really live up to their name. I think it also would've been funny for the ice dancers to be so focused on their rivalry with the cadets that the pros just completely go under their radar until its the final three and the ice dancers are like “oh crap they’re PROS why haven't we been trying to destroy them??”

I also wouldn't mind replacing the surfer dudes with the sisters. I know emma gets a lot of hate (mostly because of nemma which I only like platonically) but I actually like her as a character (when she wasn’t being obsessive) and I think she and kitty were a great team that had a good arc of learning to work together. I also think it would be really interesting because for the final three they would all have rivalries with one another: the police cadets and the ice dancers (obvious) the ice dancers and the sisters (josee messed with them in at least 2 challenges) and the sister and the police cadets (kitty and macarthur’s game/road rage was hilarious)

my Fourth and probably final point is documentation status within the US. if u came into the US with documents, if u were born in the US, etc etc. thats privilege baby. i guarantee you ur experiences as a documented latino is going to be different than the experiences as an undocumented latino.

there are resources you can reach when ur a citizen that are unavailable to undocumented ppl. and not just latinos in this case, i mean from all over the world, but especially if ur a racial/ethnic minority in the US.

my mom came to the US undocumented. she was getting that shit ready when my family had a fallout and we became homeless. the fucking. obstacle's she had to go through to access resources were fucking crazy. many many times they didn't want to offer these resources to her or us simply based on her undocumented status. many many assumptions were made abt her and our family. she was taken advantage of in jobs and programs.

the problems didnt exactly stop when she finally became a resident, but that weight was so so so much lighter on her after that. we finally had access to resources they refused her before and things became much easier.

I know that as someone who was born in the US, im already less likely to face such events that my mom did. that's privilege already.

if u go to or went to a majority latino school, there might be a chance that there are students who recently came from latin america, maybe within the last year or few months or weeks (my hs school had new students come in every couple of months). pay attention to how they're treated. not just by students, but by the staff. there is discrimination going on there. teachers might make little comments, call them lazy, stupid. its not funny. speak up for them. these teachers are making nasty comments in english when the students usually dont grasp the language so well yet, they JUST moved there. if you dont need to speak up for yourself, fine, speak up for others.

making jokes out of latino struggles reinforces stereotypes and its not you on the bad end of them bc ur laughing with the white man on the otherside. but there are still members from ur own community that might fit some of the stereotypes (bc ur reinforcing these stereotypes by making fun of the CULTURE, our actual way of life) and thats enough for some racist or xenophobic asshole to grasp onto and make a persons day or life a little shittier.

ur not the only person in ur community. there are actually communities out there, latino ppl who speak up on the issues ur laughing abt. in laughing with the oppressor, ur undermining ur community. fuck off dude, fr.

also i havent finished the game, so ill probably rb this as i get further in. for reference, ive just gotten the lightship and directions to go to the four remaining rogress.

1. adele, strangely enough. in this point of the game, shes gone full blown yandere. and theres several points that have indicated that she is NOT doing well inside. particularly in a skit in the gula temple, alf talked about how shes been bottling up so much stuff and eventually it just exploded. and he lamented that he knew but didnt do anything about it. shes gone through so much shit and shes come out the other side an absolutely deplorable person. but i fucking love her as a character.

2. this might be a little obvious from my answer to #1, but alf, easily. theres just something special about younger brother prince trauma idk. that scene after the party gets arrested in diamant hit my fucking soul. weiss gloating over how he should just have the party executed while alf, separated from the group and surrounded by the guards that are supposed to protect him too BEGS his brother to let the others go. that scene just. AUGH also the way he blames himself for literally everything. even things he literally had zero way of causing. i am CERTAIN that him trying to fulfill his role as a child of eesa has a lot to do with his self imposed guilt. but its not even self imposed!! nobody just starts blaming themselves for everything for no reason. and we ALREADY know that weiss is an absolute dick bucket. he is for sure the cause of alfs current mental state. anyway i love me a good old fashioned pathetic man. i dont really like how hes been getting more and more incel coded as the games gone on tho. if that keeps up im stealing him and making him my oc and fixing his writing. whats imageepoch gonna do? they went bankrupt in 2015. eat my ass.

3. alf. next question.

4. l’arc. idk what the writers were doing but his ass is NOT a compelling character. hes an absolute dick to everyone. alf was keeping him in line for the first like 20 hours but now alf’s fucked off so we have to suffer through l’arcs existance unfiltered and hes fucking insufferable. the only good thing ive seen from him is that hes honest about how hes only doing the things hes doing for the money. but even then like COME ON. his employer is out here bombing cities and his ass is over there berating alf for being a “traitor” like dawg. be so fucking for real. the person alf is betraying is a fucking terrorist in charge of one of the most fucked up police states ive seen in a piece of media. also l’arc cant figure out whose fucking side hes on. which WOULD be compelling character wise if he wasnt trying to be wholly loyal to both weiss AND rifya and the whole imaginal thing WHILE ALSO constantly saying he doesnt give a shit. like i swear to god the word ive heard him sy most frequently is “whatever”. this is a bit of a hot take but i think the game shouldve been told from alfs perspecive. because alf is a compelling character and l’arc is a fucking bitch.

5. that one kopin in the race betting game at the casino whose tagline is “PASS ME AND I EAT YOU.” woody is his name. i fucking love woody. it also helps that hes one of the most profitable kopin to bet on.

6. oh god thats a hard one. ive mentioned the scene where the party is arrested in diamant. thats deffo up there. another REALLY banger scene is the scene at the top of the tower in antrax where the party splits up. also special shout out to that skit where alf reminisces with adele about hiking up a hill and eating sandwiches. bro dropped the fuckin “that might be my favorite memory of my whole life” line. and then had the audacity to say “nvm” when adele asked him to repeat himself. motherfucker how sad is your life that thats the happiest memory you can think of. i love you. im giving you forehead kisses you precious boy. 7. i just downloaded the whole soundtrack the other day and literally every song is a banger. i havent listened to all of them for fear of spoilers, but the two themes for antrax took my heart out into the back alleys and shot it 20 times. i hope we get to rebuild antrax but im not gonna keep my hopes up. also the moon inn theme has a special place in my heart. i booted up the game for the first time in years and the first time i got to a moon inn i had to take a second and cry for a bit.

8. oh GOD. ignacy. hes such a fucking greasebag. i hate him so much but also AUGH. good character. terrible fucking person. i want to punch the shit out of his awful fucking face.

9. l’arc/alf. l’arc needs someone to reign his ass in and alf needs to feel like hes helping someone. it wouldnt be a HEALTHY relationship. at least not in the beginning. but i think if anyone could do it, they could.

10. serge & leslie. for being the “flirts” of the group they both give me such huge aroace vibes. i know theyre both in the party at the end of the game, so i know ill get more interactions between them and that makes me SO excited. theyre basically the parents of this goofy ass found family and i love it.

11. i dont know. i havent really interacted with the fandom at all. if two or three people can even be described as a “fandom”. most of the other ships i havent mentioned that exist are either straight up illegal or i just dont think theyd get together at all ever. im not shipping cecille with anyone cuz shes a fucking child. i REALLY dont think rastan is looking for a partner judging based on the line he said in the scripted loss ignacy fight about ignacy “paying for the death of his wife and child”. so i guess he had a wife and a kid and hes FOR SURE grieving that shit real hard. i dont really see ryfia getting with anyone. idk shes just super fucking sheltered and it would take a LOT before shed be in a position where she could actually give informed consent to anything. i cant think of a single reason for niko to get with anyone. especially considering the fact that the whole party is just constantly bullying him for no reason. and i cant think of any side characters that i would ship with anyone. although dynos and alf would go kinda hard if dynos would stop being a dick to alf. idk i guess i just dont have a least favorite ship.

14. well THATS fucking ominous. not many have died yet. just zamuel and selena really. unless you count the untold innocents in antrax and benetnash. i already know niko dies later. thats a dumb fucking decision writing wise. the whole party has been bullying this kid since we fucking met him. and he sacrifices himself for them??? WHY????? in the gula temple he literally opens up to rastan and serge about feeling suicidal and nobody does anything about it. granted hes not SUPER clear with it. but what the fuck else is that supposed to look like. and rastan and serge just immediately blow him off just like everyone else does. fucking give this kid a break bro.

16. i havent really gotten much in that regard. but so far, both serge and rastan. the more i learn about them, the more i want to hold them in the palm of my hand and squish them. finding out serge was leon was fucking nuts, and rastans ass sitting there going “I FUCKING TOLD YOU PEOPLE SO” was hysterical. also i found out in a skit that rastans favorite flower is a lupine and WOAH those are so pretty.

19. every single fight that begins with an enpty area and a dramatic angel choir before they jump in and start beating the shit out of you. those are fucking sick and they scare the fuck out of me EVERY time. also weiss. i fucking love the reveal of his wing arm thing. though, if it’s related to the felldragon experiments near ebur, i feel like he shouldve had some of the hozone crystal things in there somewhere. idk i just think those crystals are SO cool. theyre terrifying but also cool.

20. im guessing this is asking “whats your favorite animal outfit the party can wear”. the answer is rastan. motherfucker’s bear costume is so gigantic you cant even see the head. hes like 7 feet tall if you measure to the top of the bears head its RIDICULOUS.

21. im gonna go individual characters. and only the outfits i have so far. for l’arc its “meridian boy”. it makes me think about how he couldve had a normal life. a lot of things wouldve had to change, but its neat to think about. ryfia’s is “the artist”. she looks so cutie patootie in it. and the hat is adorable on her. rastan’s is the bear costume obviously. goofy ass motherfucker. for cecille its gotta be “frilly bikini”. she has a fucking neon green water pistol. have they even invented plastic yet?????? im not gonna question it. niko’s has to be his version of the “pilgrim’s robes”. that outfit is NOT hiding his imperial army uniform. what a silly little guy. serge’s original outfit is peak but his “pilgrim’s robes” compliment his hair so nicely. i dont remember if alf had any outfits. i think he had a swimsuit? seeing him shirtless was a little silly. hes so fucking pale lmao. adele got a cute little school dress and a swimsuit if i recall. the dress was cute. but her diva fit goes SO HARD. its INCREDIBLY impractical. but i love it anyway. and leslie isnt in my party officially yet but i know she will be in the end, and i have outfits for her. i havent seen it on her ingame, but i saw her shrine maiden dress online and its SO cute i love it. shes so mommy. but in a “shes definitely ace but makes sex jokes to fuck with people” way. thats canon btw. the second part at the very least. i dont think any of these characters have canon sexualities. OMG EXCEPT WAIT. SERGE. hes been flirting with everyone regardless of gender. my personal hc is that hes demisexual like me becaus thatd be sick.

27. uhhhh idk i dont really associate any songs with the game other than the soundtrack for it. i booted it up for the first time in years and started a new file cuz i dont remember SHIT about what happens (i was up to the gula temple) and every single song that has played has made me put down my controller for a second and have a little bit of a cry. the moon inn and topazion/jada in particular hit me hard.

28. my mother bought a copy back when it first came out and she beat it. then one day i was rooting around the games cabinet trying to find something to play, and pulled it out. mom said i could play it (why i would need permission to play a fucking video game that we already own is beyond me but this post isnt about my abusive mother). i remember opening up her save at one point (the one she made VERY CLEAR that i was Not Allowed to Save Over or God Help Me) and she was in the final dungeon. i wandered around in there for a bit but had no idea how later aspects of the combat worked. i also DONT remember what the final dungeon looked like. i think it was purplish and greenish and in the middle of the map where the giant pocket of ocean is. thats all i got idk lol

29. rastan. theres a spot open for a parental figure in my life and i know my dad isnt opposed to kissing boys. i just know rastans a good dad. hes a little suicidal but hey everyone else in my family has dealt with ideation (myself included) so who cares.

30. i havent played the luminous arc stuff before so i cant say much about the series. but THIS game is so fucking good. the only bad thing is the english voice acting, but its so bad that its wrapped back around to being funny. but literally everything else is fucking great. the artstyle, the characters, the fucking story, the game mechanics. Meeting and Dating Anton Tobias

- First things first: Anton’s had a crush on you since the first grade, which is also where the two of you technically met for the first time.

- You being placed in the same class would become a frequent, on and off again thing in both your lives. Every year or so, you’d end up having a class with Anton Tobias and every year, he’d fall for you harder and harder.

- Regardless of how long you’ve been aware of each other’s existence, Anton is still completely incapable of actually speaking to you. There’s been a few instances of him; accidentally or purposefully, coming into contact with you and just widening his eyes, doing a 180 and booking it away from you after you say hello.

- So yeah, for a while, he’s just adorably obsessed with you in a way that only a boy in love can be.

- There was definitely a period in your life where you considered trying to talk to him yourself, wondering if you could ease his nerves a little and show him that he could actually interact with you.

- But then he got really into the whole stoner thing and you found yourself a bit too intimidated to approach him. Plus, he was never at school anymore for you to talk to him anyways.

- It’s only when the two of you reach your junior year of highschool that anything of actual value happens between you.

- It was during one of the days that Anton actually showed up to school. You’d gotten home from school when you went to pull your things out of your schoolbag. It was then that you finally noticed that you had two copies of your English classes book.

- You vaguely remembered assuming you’d dropped yours when you saw a copy near your bag on the floor, a copy you’d quickly stuffed into your bag “again” before rushing to your next class. You cracked open the covers of both and found that one read ‘Anton Tobias’ in a messy scrawl.

- Considering the fact that you didn’t know where Anton lived; or had even ever spoken to him, you couldn’t exactly return the book right away, so, you were forced to wait until school the next day and hope that he showed up.

- The next day, you spotted him in front of the school and quickly made your way over. He looked at you like a deer in headlights as you explained the situation, not saying anything but taking the book from your hands as his friends watched in secondhand embarrassment and amusement.

- Pnub kicked him in the shin and he finally spoke, assuring you that it was alright and forcing a smile onto his face. You offered to let him copy your homework since you borderline stole his book and he asked if you were sure before thanking you as you handed it to him.

- You said goodbye and walked off as as he stared at you in awe. He handled that paper like a museum artifact the entire day.

- You were already seated in your chair when he walked in and surprised you by sitting right next to you. He handed your paper over and thanked you again as you gave him a smile.

- When class is finally over, he stays behind and gathers up the courage to actually talk to you, complimenting your homework before the conversation shifts into more interesting territory. His boys are very proud to see him walking out of the school with you instead of being a puss.

- The two of you made it to the bus area before you were forced to say goodbye, which you did so begrudgingly before you got on. He couldn’t complain though, he’d finally talked to the girl of his dreams and he was floating on cloud nine.

- The two of you start talking to each other everyday and he couldn’t be happier, he feels stupid for being so afraid to start a conversation with you. It takes about a month of short conversations for him to actually invite you to hang out. 

- You’re once again walking out of school with him and you’re just finishing up saying goodbye when he turns back around and asks if you want to come over to his place, which you obviously agree to. 

- So technically, your first date consists of you going over to his house and pretty much just hanging out and enjoying each others company. You watch television, talk some more, eat some food, go for a walks, things like that. 

- It’s after a few months of the two of you hanging out that you have your first kiss. You were a bit bored and flopped on his bed as he fiddled with something, asking if he actually wanted to do something. 

- He asked what you wanted to do as you hovered above him and you watched as his gaze kept drifting down to your lips. You’d suspected before that Anton had a crush on you; primarily because Pnub and Mickey had outright told you he did, but it was only now that you saw he truth in their words. 

- Before you lost your nerve, you leaned down and pressed your lips to his. He froze for a minute as you pulled away, looking at you in surprise as a million thoughts raced through your mind; thoughts that were banished as he lurched up and kissed you again. 

- Rest assured, that kiss sealed your fate. You’re never getting rid of him after that. 

- Lots of Pda. Anton really doesn’t care about what anybody thinks so if he wants to touch or kiss you; which believe me he does, he’ll just do it without thinking.

- His arm around your shoulders, or draped around the couch behind you.

- Drowsy hugs from behind. He’s usually half asleep when he does this and will usually take in a deep, tired breath and sleepily tell you you smell good.

- He presses kisses all over your face whenever he can; particularly when he’s board. He’ll give you one on your temple, then one on your cheekbone, under your cheekbone, the apple of your cheek, your jaw, the corner of your mouth-

- Soft, sometimes slow kisses.

- Makeout sessions. What’s better than laying in his bed and kissing you? To him? Pretty much nothing.

- The two of you cuddle wherever you fall. Sometimes you’re on top of him, other times he’s spooning you with his leg thrown over your body; just all types of cuddling.

- He tends to just call you by your given name but if he feels the need, he’ll call you babe or honey as well.

- He thinks everything you do is so fucking cool. He’s constantly amazed by and complimenting you.

- He’s almost embarrassingly fond of and proud of you. He brags about you to people all the time; it’s really quite adorable.

- He can’t remember basic math 90% of the time but you bet you’re ass he remembers the outfit you wore when you first talked to him or everything about that necklace you always wear or the book you always carry around. He’s well versed in the subject of y/n.

- Fast food dates.

- Watching television together.

- Chilling up in his room.

- Listening to music together. Sometimes you just lay on his bed with your heads connected and your hands intertwined and vibe.

- Walking his dog with him. You know ...Anton really isn’t fond of the way Randy looks at you as you’re walking by.

- Going to the skatepark with him and his friends.

- He’s always phoning you and asking you to come over because he wants to see you; usually groaning when you’re busy or trying to convince you to ditch what you’re doing.

- If you’re into weed then expect to be doing a lot of smoking with him.

- Trying to get him to be a little more ambitious. You’re one of the only things that get him out of bed and out into the world.

- Informing him on the latest happenings because god knows he isnt paying attention to any of whats going on around him.

- Subtle butt touches.

- Wearing his pants because he sure as shit doesn’t. If he’s rocking his boxers, you’re rocking the sweats he’s neglected.

- Occasionally cutting class or skipping school with him. You do want to graduate high school so you don’t do it all the time like he does:

- Doing him a few favors; or more so his mother. Picking up milk on your way over after school, bringing some food, returning movie rentals. Things that take like a five minutes if you’re already gonna be passing said places.

- Waking him up in the morning, or more accurately: the afternoon.

- He loves when you fuss over him. Honestly, the more motherly and “traditional” you act with him the better. Get out all those urges. He’ll never mind.

- Your laugh? Music to his ears. His humor is his main appeal; besides the fact that he’s nearly six foot and pretty attractive.

- Talking all serious about stupid shit until you both breakout into laughter.

- Wondering why he’s suddenly acting so strange....

- Going through the whole idle hand ordeal and stopping him by being crushed by a whole ass car.

- Visiting him in the hospital.

- Helping him after he loses his hand.

- You are his last brain cell. You’re like the main reason this boy is still alive.

- Occasionally shutting him up since he doesnt think before he speaks like 90% of the time. Anton ...maybe don’t make fun of police officers ...to their face ...when they already don’t like you.

- Your parents probably don’t like him ...for obvious reasons, so you’ll most likely have to sneak out or lie to them so that you can see him.

- Helping to keep him calm in stressful situations.

- He thinks he’s really bad at comforting you but he’s actually like accidentally really good at it. He has no idea what he’s doing but it’s working!

- Antons pretty oblivious most of the time so he doesn’t tend to get jealous very often. That being said, since he’s been in love with you for so long, he isn’t too keen on losing you so whenever he senses a serious threat to your relationship, he’ll do whatever he can to stop it.

- He’s sort of a coward so he really isn’t going to be the one you can count on when you’re scared. He’ll probably talk up a big game but the minute a tree limb snaps beneath someone’s foot, he’s clinging to you like a child.

- The two of you don’t fight extremely often; you sort of just know how he is so you’re unfazed by most of what he does. But when you do fight, he has trouble staying calm and saying the right thing. He’ll probably call you a bitch without thinking and you’ll have to stop yourself from strangling him.

- Whenever you’re mad at him, he’ll keep periodically calling you to try and get you to talk to him. He never waits long after you leave either; usually it’s at most an hour before he’s ringing your line. He can always seem to wiggle his way back into your good graces no matter what he does and it’s infuriating.

- He tells you he loves you quite a bit. He’s had a while to come to terms with his feelings so he isn’t afraid to tell you the truth.

- He’s not a fan of talking about the future but let’s just say that you’ll probably be the more established and accomplished person in your relationship.

• A little boy came up to you and your group of friends clearly in distress

• You immediately hopped on to ask what was wrong and comfort the small child

• You knelt in front of the boy and gently took his hands, telling him that whatever was going on would be okay

• Baby boy was crying and when you gently asked what was wrong he told you that he couldnt find his parents

• you wiped the tears from his cheeks and smiled at him, assuring him that you'd help him find his parents

• Sero's staring at you, eyes wide and cheeks red, just watching you deal with the situation at hand

• Like he knew you were good with with kids

• At least from what he's heard and sorta seen

• but he didn't know you were THIS good

• It was especially impressive since no one else in the group knew what to do

• But here you were

• Momming out

• Mina grins knowingly

• Seros always had a thing for people that were good w kids

• Sero falls in love for a second fucking time and he can feel his heart going crazy

• The way the little boy his holding onto your shoulders as you try to figure out where they might be

• The way you've secured him on your hip, making sure he laughs and smiles

• And when they leave he's quick to take your hand and press a gentle kiss to your lips

• Battle begs some interesting situations

• You run into a lot of things when you fight with villians

• This time it happened to be a kid.

• Everyone knew Bakugou wasn't particularly good with children

• He was okay with the younger ones but after they're like 7, they're mouthy

• And it annoys him

• You're the one to swing in though, sweeping the child up in your arms and holding her to your chest as she cries.

• She can't be more than five, her shirt is ripped, along with the leggings under her skirt

• You're rubbing her back, whispering into her ear that it'd be okay

• And something in him just- idk flipped

• You were being so gentle and he felt himself falling again

• How you went from the one goal of annihilation of an enemy to comforting a small child was incredible

• you've got a hand wiping her tears, telling her it's okay, the other securely on her back.

• You keep telling her you're not going anywhere, that she was finally safe

• She doesn't stop crying until your reiterate, many times, that you're not letting her go.

• She calms down as much as any child can in that situation. Her breaths were still uneven and her eyes were still watery but she wasn't sobbing anymore.

• he looks over when you when you walk up next to him

• honestly the instinct to protect is sinking in

• Just looking at you holding a kid, he feels like it's his JOB, his DUTY, to make sure you two are safe

• You personally are very protective of the kid

• you havent let the police taken her

• You havent let the pro heros take her

• You wouldn't dream of it the way shes holding onto you

• he finds himself warding off people trying to take her, telling them to fuck off and get lost

• and then he watches you

• He watches as you bounce her gently, humming in her ear and rubbing her back to calm her crying again

• He watches as you play with her hair, massaging her scalp gently to let her know it's okay to relax

• He watches you rub her back as she starts to fall asleep, exhaustion finally taking over

• And he watches as you hold her, not daring to put her down

• Covering her her small body with a blanket

• He's completely fine with it when you bring the idea of the girl staying in your shared apartment until her parents are found

• He watches you glare at the people in the corner who had tried to take her away as you left

• And over the next 3 days he watches you care for this girl like she was your own

• He knew you were good with kids

• He knew you had a mom instinct

• He along with his group of friends had been victim to it a few times in highschool

• But he didn't know it was to THIS extent

• It makes him feel warm when you feed her

• When you spin her around so she'll laugh or watch TV on the couch

• And he's torn when the parents are found because he sees you

• You were so strong delivering her back after spending three days with her

• But once she's gone you're crying

• And he feels kind of weird too, like now something missing

• Anyway. The parents have you as their babysitter 😌

• And you and Bakugou decide that maybe it's time to have your own kid

Kaminari-

• Kaminari takes you to a family BBQ

• With his

• WHOLE family

• Immediately- his little cousins love you. Especially the littlest one. She's fascinated with you and she ADORES you

• She ends up glued by your side and Kamis a lil jealous

• But watching you interact with her makes him warm

• You're so kind and gentle with her

• You pick her up and spin her around

• You let her play with your hair

• You're giving her piggy back rides ir letting her play on your phone

• He watches and you gently squish her cheeks and rub the tip of your nose against hers

• he watches as his 5 year old cousin lights up and laughs, leaning into you with a wide smile

• He watches as you pull her onto your lap so she doesnt have to sit on the ground

• He watches as you reapply her sunscreen and make her drink some water

• He watches you care for her as if she were your own, no questions asked.

• He watches you do the same to the other kids, making sure they're alright and they have what they need

• He listens to his mother making jokes that she's just going to have you watch the kids at family outings from now on

• Or his aunties say they'll pay her to spend the weekend at their house to babysit

• And then his dad say that his kids wont have to worry because they'll have a perfect mother

• And he's right

• If the two of you decided to have children at some point, after marriage, you truly would be the perfect mother

• He looks back at you and his heart flutters

• He knew you were the one, he knew you were the one he wanted to marry but fuck if he hadn't just fallen in love all over again
