My Success story (with proofs) 🎀🫶

Hey guys I know it's a been a long time since I posted anything here but I'm coming with a big success story, as u know @adambja is selling an amazing self concept + void tapes, she customized my tape as I wanted to be (ps:they're not affs she put some potions and her own method and secrets in them).

So yeah, my goal was having my SP back and transform to how I want him to be and gain a great self concept + enhancing my features 🥹 kid u not the first day I listened to the tape (I putted in my headphones and went to sleep) when I wake up I had that intrusive thought of opening Snapchat, guess who I found out on it ? yes my SP in my Snapchat's suggestions YES ! , she told me that he'll come back with another account since I blocked him from Litt everything I was impatient 😋🫶 so I added him, he accepted me and we talked, damnnn istg it was a whole another person, tender and gentle 😭 like he's another one frl, the most funniest part didn't comes yet lol, he asked if I want to see him I said yes, (ps: I told Adambja that I want him to become a gym rat cuz I love big boys hihi) all his pictures were in the gym, his back now is bigger than my attitude dammmmn I was chocked 😭💘💘 he's now the perfect version of himself, we talked for almost a week but now I cut the ropes with him, I feel like I deserve a better one Ngl 😋, beside my SP I'm having a massive amount of compliments like many people has stopped me to say that I'm so beautiful lol + my features now are enhanced and my eyes are bigger, even my teachers now are noticing me more and asking me questions. All this happened in three days 🤭🩷, like Imaaaagine !!

Mark is busy slicing the watermelon in the kitchen while you take a nap on the living room couch. Quietly humming some random song, he loves days like this. When he can stay at home and be with his family.

Especially now that another Little Lee is on the way.

You've reached that point in your pregnancy where you're constantly tired, you feel bad about not being as active to take care and play with your son, Minjung, but he really is the best boy. He's been very understanding, he always makes sure you're okay. Just like how his dada taught him.

"Mom, are you awake?" you hear a tiny voice whisper, you can't help but smile and open your eyes. You weren't really sleeping. Just resting your feet and back.

"Yes, love. What is it?" you ask him

"You need water, mama? snacks?" he asks you

Chuckling at your cute son, you shake your head. Instead you pat the vacant spot next to you, Minjung carefully lays next to you.

"I miss hanging out with you, sorry mommy can't run and play outside with you" you tell him

"It's okay, mommy. Daddy says it's because you're growing little sissy right now so we need to take care of you and her"

You smile upon hearing your son's words. Only 5 but already he's wise beyond his years. One thing doesn't change though is his cute face looking more and more like his father's everyday.

Speaking of, Mark walked back to the living room to see his two favorite people on the couch having a small talk. He can hear the conversation between you and Minjung, quietly listening behind.

"You'll tell mama if you need anything okay? Once baby sister is here, it might seem like we're taking care of her a lot but we love you just as much"

"It's okay, mommy. I love you too"

You can't help it, he's just too cute. You squish your little boy's cheeks, hugging him as close as you can. Savoring these last moments of Minjung being an only child.

With the next one on the way, you've been worried about Minjung and how he'll react once the baby is here. But you know your son, he's smart and always kind. The moment you told him he's about to have a sibling, he's been very excited.

"Got room for one more?" Mark decides to finally interrupt, wanting to be a part of this special moment.

"Of course, come here" you open your arm, hugging both of your boys.

"Oh did you feel that?" you ask, making the two boys move away from you

"What?! You okay?" Mark worriedly asks, immediately getting off the couch and crouching on the floor instead. Gently pulling Minjung with him.

"She kicked, here" you take Mark and Minjung's hand and put it where you felt the kick. A few seconds later you felt it again

"Oh, is that little sissy?" Minjung asks you with an excited look on his face

"Yea, she's excited to meet you too"

"Does it hurt, mommy? When she kicks?"

"Sometimes, only when she kicks me here by the ribs but it's okay. She doesn't mean it. She's just trying to move around and stretch a bit" you explain to the little boy, Mark listening to the two of you while his hand draws circles on your tummy. Waiting for his little girl to kick again.

It's the second time but moments like this still amazes him. He can still remember the first time he felt Minjung kick in your tummy like it was yesterday, now the three of you are here feeling the baby girl's kicks. He hasn't met her yet but the amount of love Mark has for his daughter is already beyond this universe.

You, Minjung and this little baby girl is his whole world.

A few weeks later, it's time for Minjung to meet his new little sister

"Okay when we get there, we need to use inside voice okay? We wash our hands first" Mark tells his son, looking down at him.

The two boys make their way to the hospital where you're currently resting. Mark holding Minjung's hand while he holds a bouquet of flowers in the other.

"Okay you knock" he tells him, Minjung knocking gently on the door

"Come in" you say from the other side of the door, Mark opening the door. Immediately you see your baby boy, it's only been two days but it felt like forever since you last saw him.

"Hi, baby. I missed you" you tell him, already feeling the tears build up. Mark chuckles at you, while you roll your eyes at him. Mark helps Minjung wash his hands before the little boy walks over to you.

"Hi mommy, we got you flowers" he says, showing you the flowers

"Thank you, baby. I love them. Can mama have a hug?" you wait for Mark to help Minjung up the bed

"Careful with mom okay, gentle" Mark reminds him, you just smile at the two. Immediately you hug your little boy, compared to little newborn currently in the crib Minjung seems so big.

The thought enough to put tears in your eyes

"I was gone for two days, and you're already a big brother. Mommy missed you so much, buddy" you tell him, peppering kisses all over his face making the boy laugh.

"I missed you too, mommy. Is baby sissy okay?"

"Yea, she's here. You want to meet her?" you ask him, the little boy nodding excitedly.

"Okay, why don't you sit here while I get her?" Mark helps Minjung down from the bed, pointing at the little couch. Mark gets baby girl from her crib before walking towards where Minjung was seating.

Meanwhile you get your phone out to capture the moment.

"Minjung, meet your little sister Minjee" Mark tells his little boy, showing him the little bundle of joy wrapped in the pink blanket. Minjung looked a bit unsure at first, looking at his dad first.

"You can hold her, here she loves holding your finger like this. Gently okay?" Mark lets Minjung hold out one finger so little Minjee can hold it. You wipe the few tears that escaped, smiling at your family

"Hello, Minjee. I'm Minjung, your brother" he says happily. shaking his finger like they're shaking hands for the first time. Mark smiles at his son, kissing the top of his head before looking at his daughter.

"You're going to be the best of friends, you have to teach her how to color and play the piano and how to ride a bike. It's going to be so much fun" Mark tells him, "Would that be okay?"

"Mhm, we can play. I'll share my toys with her" Minjung answers

"Thanks buddy, that's very nice of you" Mark tells him, putting Minjee on his right arm so he can hug Minjung with the other one.

"I love the both of you very very much, more than anything. We take care of her like we take care of mommy, okay?"

"Okay"

"That's my boy" Mark mumbles, hugging Minjung tighter. Looking over at you to see you wiping more tears away.

"Guys, I love this moment but you're making me cry so much" you joke, Mark laughs before gently standing up to walk over to you. He passes Minjee over to you before he kisses you on the head.

"Good job, mom of two"

"Oh shut up, you did this to me" you joke, "Hey, as long as you're willing to. I can do it all over again. I love our babies very much, I don't mind having a few more" he tells you, you know what he means by that. At the end of the day it's your body that goes through a lot.

But looking down at the bundle of joy in your arms and your little man, you know you'd do it over and over again.

"Can we do it until one looks like me?"

"Dude, what are you talking about? She kinda looks like you"

You shoot him a deadpanned look, it's too soon to tell but even know you can see your daughter takes after her dad much like her older brother. As for Minjung, well one look at him and you'd know he's Mark's son.

"Kinda? She looks just like Minjung when he was born. She'll probably look like you too. I don't hate it though, more mini Mark's" you smile at your husband

"Better luck next time, baby"

Tim grew up in an old farmhouse, he knows a lot about this sort of thing! 

In fact, your cottagecore aesthetic is borderline nostalgic for him, it really warms his heart in a way he’s waaaay too embarrassed to ever admit, even if he personally doesn’t partake in the lifestyle 

He’ll totally adjust fine to the cottagecore life 

He’s had his fair share of experience with cooking with whatever he can forage from the woods (and he actually knows what can and can’t be eaten), so he’s very helpful in the kitchen! 

He’s also a very skilled hunter, so he’s more than willing to bring back a fresh kill for you to cook 

He’ll skin it and do all the dirty work for you, that way your job is easy 

In return all you have to do cook him dinner while he’s in the shower washing off the smell, and he’ll be happy

He thinks your style is absolutely adorable, even if he won’t outright say it! 

That’s okay though, because you can see it in the way his eyes widen a bit when you come down the stairs all dressed up in the prettiest little outfit he could ever imagine 

He’ll pause and look down, exhaling the smoke from his cigarette before looking up and giving a brief compliment: 

“Lookin’ good, sweetheart.” 

He’s kinda emotionally constipated, but you’ll learn to read him 

If you craft, please give him homemade gifts! 

Baskets, wreaths, flower arrangements, whatever little cottagecore trinket you can conjure

One of Tim’s favorite pastimes is whittling, so don’t he surprised if he leaves a little deer statue on your beside table as a thank you 

Tim isn’t high maintenance or hard to satisfy at all, he’s more than happy to share a quaint little cottage with you 

All he needs is a kiss on the cheek when he leaves for ‘work’ to keep him warm until he can hug you again 

Brian/Hoodie 

Brian is probably the most well versed on internet aesthetics, and dare I say may even be a bit cottagecore himself! 

It’s a lot more subtle of course, but you can see it in the way he hoards potted plants and persistently makes sure the hummingbird feeder and bird bath are full 

He’s also the most invested in nature, if that makes sense; he knows a lot about the native flora and fauna of his area and will always point them out to you if you’re around 

It’s not unusual for you to catch him staring out the window at the birds 

He doesn’t really like to cook and he doesn’t forage since it’s not something that’s ever interested him, but he has a way with sewing! 

He collects patches for his bags and clothes, and he likes to alter and add to his own garments 

He’s phenomenal with patchwork and fixing up tears 

Never again will you have to be upset about a rip in your favorite dress or a split seam in your best pair of pants! 

Brian will have it fixed up like new in no time 

You won’t even be able to tell it was ever torn! 

Although he doesn’t forage, Brian always brings a bag with him to pick up any plants he hasn’t seen before or wants more of

If he particularly likes one he’ll uproot it and put it in a pot to keep in your cottage 

Soon half of your house will belong to the plants, but it’s okay because he makes sure they’re arranged cutely 

He cares just as much about the aesthetic as you do, don’t worry 

He definitely likes to match outfits too! 

If he’s ever in town and sees a piece of clothing he likes, he’s buying another (or at least the closest thing) for you too

So eventually he started looking for you, slowly following your schedule, maybe a bit creepy but whatever…

You noticed little drawing being left to you. of your favorite flowers, animals, characters. and it slowly turned into litte poems!

a few months after this started you sat in the library, just studying. or atleast you tried to. there was a guy staring at you, a familiar guy who you’ve see around before! you didn’t think much of it, I mean sure he was kinda cute, his hair always being a bit messy, his hood hiding his face looking a bit mysterious… you where interested in him but never really got the courage to walk up to him…

but now you’re sitting alone in the library with him, the boy occasionally glancing at you. you take a small breath and look up as well, catching his gaze. it clearly caught him of guard as he looks away immediately. his cheeks turn into a slight crimson red, quite cute.

until suddenly he softly slides a piece of paper to you, ofcourse you grab it and gently fold it open. A letter? he wrote you a love letter? you read it and realize that the writing style was familiar!

you look at him again, but he’s gone along with his stuff and everything… but its okay, he really is a sweetheart <3

Something I think that’s funny (not in a judgey way) is how a lot of the fandom views Tim’s relationships with the other Batfam members/Gotham heroes

Tim might be the bat fam member/Gotham vigilante with the most positive relationships out of every one but for the angst a lot of people ignore that (again not judging, also love a good angsty fic, just think it’s interesting) and I listed it out below : )

Tim & Alfred - Alfred loves him, that’s one of his boys

Tim & Jim Gordon - as far as I’m aware Gordon has never had anything bad to say about Tim

Lucius Fox - they worked well together to stop Ra’s al Ghul from destroying Wayne enterprises/Industries (whatever its being called now) in Red Robin

Tim & Bruce - that’s his son and most of the time Bruce acts like it

Tim & Selina “He’s a goody two-shoes but I like that kid” (Catwoman #31)

Kate Kane - as of Tim Drake: Robin their relationship hit a rough spot but he was still wanting to do whatever he could to protect her so I think they are/ will be good

(Tim & Luke Fox - genuinely have no idea if they’ve had any significant interactions so I’m gonna assume they’re good but not sure if it counts so I’ll leave that up to individual opinion)

Tim & Barbara - Barbara has said he’s the only batboy with manners lol and she has fallen for his baby brother charms

Tim & Dick - has literally stated in canon that he would do anything for Tim, he’s Dick’s litte brother, Dick is absolutely Tim’s favorite brother

Tim & Jean Paul Valley - JPV hurt him but due to his reaction to hearing Tim got the clench and trying to save him he obviously still cares and they’ve worked together since so I think they’re on good terms

Tim & Helena - she was so genuinely heartbroken when she thought he was killed by killer croc, has also fallen for his little brother charms

Tim & Cassandra - siblings who have each others back no matter what

Tim & Jason - despite their rocky start, as of Knight Terrors: Robin they’ve been shown to have a civil if not a positive relationship

Tim & Stephanie - besties despite being exes

Tim & Harper Row - what I’ve seen of them has been a fun relationship “I should go. Probably some kind of mischief going on.” “Mischief huh?” (Batman Eternal #52 I think)

Tim & Duke Thomas - they alway come through for each other and haven’t had any beef as far as I’m aware

Tim & Darcy Thomas - good relationship

Tim & Damian - as of Tim Drake: Robin, Tim is calling Damian his little brother. They may have hated each other in the beginning but they don’t now

Out of the other characters that are generally considered to have good/positive relationships with everyone else -

From my understanding, Alfred, Gordon, & Barbara have had mostly positive relationships with the others (sometimes they’ve had bumps in the road but usually the relationship recovered from that) but I don’t recall if they have had a relationship with ALL of the above characters

Cass and Jason did have beef due to extremely different ideologies and I’m not aware of that being resolved

Duke Thomas has not been shown to have interactions with all of those listed above

Dick has some on again off again beefs with some of the others

+ other beefs I’m aware of

Jason & Damian last I recall were still getting into tumbles whenever they made the other angry, which is a lot

Bruce has multiple beefs going on at all times it seems : (

I feel like I’m forgetting some unresolved beef involving JPV but maybe I’m wrong

Anyways my point is, unless I’m majorly wrong about any of the above, or forgetting several people, Tim is most likely the canonical Batfam member with the most positive relationships amongst Gotham vigilantes (if I went past that that list would never end lol) even if a lot of his relationships with the others started out rough or had a rough patch at some point

I've been so freaking obsessed with Evan Rosier/Percy Weasley time travel fic.

Starts out as a Voldemort wins AU and Percy time travels to the past, ends up about 16/17 and back in Hogwarts, sorted into Slytherin, he doesn't know shit about Voldemort or how to prevent the war, so he does the only logical thing he can. Becomes a better alternative to Voldemort. Yup, straight up Percy Weasley cult, yes I'm doing that :P

It takes a while, but most of the other students are more or less on board, except Evan Rosier. He's hanging around because his friends are all enamoured, but he's suspicious, he doesn't trust Percy. Percy thinks he's hot c: Evans emotionally constipated self thinks Percy is hot too :p but very sus and he doesn't trust easy

So basically Percy has to change the future by forcing the Hogwarts population into therapy, becoming a sort of accidental cult leader, joining the pta and uniting with parents in ways that change actually happens even if they don't like some things he says, changing some of the dumb things the teachers do, changing the gryffindor bias, promoting interhouse unity and all that fun stuff :D

but regardless yeah Percy and Time travel are two of my favorite fic genres so i could see the appeal

Christmas. It really is the most wonderful time of the year. The beautiful, shining tree, the many decorations and the love and company of friends and family. I mean, how could you not love Christmas?

My husband, our 5 year old son, and me, just came back from David's. It became a tradition, having a nice dinner with the rest of the BAU and their loved ones at Christmas Eve. I looked at the clock, seeing it was past (Y/S/N) his bedtime.

'It's bedtime, honey. Do you want daddy to read a story?'

'But, I don't wanna sleep. I want to wait for Santa!' he exclaimed, enthusiastically.

'Buddy, you know he only comes when you're asleep.' Spencer squatted down to be on his eye level, smiling sweetly.

'Why?' the young boy asked, eyes filled with curiosity.

'What about, I'll tell you in bed? Then you can lie down comfortably, and then I will answer all your questions about Santa Claus. Sounds good?' he nodded, in a much happier state now. My heart melted at how Spencer communicated with our son.

'Alright, let's first set the milk and cookies ready for Santa.'

I took the supplies and gave them to (Y/S/N). He carefully placed them by the fireplace, contently looking at it. After that, I changed him in his pajamas and did his night routine. It was only moments later, and our son was laying in bed, ready for his daddy. As soon as Spencer came joining us, he blurred out his first question.

'Why does Santa only come when we're asleep?'

'Because he don't want you to see him. He want the presents to be a surprise.' my husband answered, sitting down on the little bed.

'How can Santa bring presents to everyone in only one night?'

'Well, there are around 2 billion children all over the world. Because there are so many kids, and he only has one night, he needs to deliver 6,100 presens in a second. Luckily, children happen to be spread across a wide range of time zones, buying Santa extra time.' the little one looked with pure confusion to his dad, however, I wasn't even surprised anymore how much he searched up to be able to answer our son's questions.

'It's because, Santa has magic.' he added, receiving now an understanding nod.

'How do the reindeer fly? They don't have wings.'

'They are magic reindeer.'

After asking a few more questions, (Y/S/N) got really tired, giving how late it actually already was, and fell asleep. We made it quietly out of his room, closing the door, gently.

We began placing all the presents under the Christmas tree. When we were done, we stood in front of the illuminated tree, while admiring it.

'You know, I love you everyday more and more.' the genius confessed, smiling sweetly at me.

'Getting clingy on me, Reid?' I joked, receiving a chuckle from him.

'Doctor Reid.' he slightly warned.

'Don't make me put you on the naughty list.' he continued, unable to hide his grin.

'You wouldn't dare.'

'Not if you kiss me right now.'

'Well, I guess, I don't have a choice.' I placed my hands on his cheeks, letting my lips found its way to his. We shared a sweet, loving kiss.

'I love you, Santa.' he smiled at the new nickname, placing his arm over my shoulders.

'I love you, Mrs. Claus.' I placed a kiss on his cheek, before yawning.

'Let's get some sleep. I think, we need it.'

'We definitely need it. He'll probably be up at 5 a.m.

The next morning:

'MOMMY! DADDY! WAKE UP, WAKE UP!' we could feel a litte person crawling between us, trying to wake us up. Or at least get a reaction out of us. I could see my husband lying down by my side, pretending to sleep.

'Good morning, sweety.' I yawned, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

'Mommy, why isn't daddy waking up?'

And, just at that moment, the genius grabbed (Y/S/N) and tickled him. The room was filled with laughter of our son, a sound I never get tired hearing.

'SANTA CLAUS CAME! SANTA CLAUS CAME!' he exclaimed, before running to the living room.

'Merry Christmas, darling.'

'Merry Christmas, genius.' I pecked his lips, before we both got out of bed, following (Y/S/N) towards the Christmas tree.

'Can I open a present? Please?'

'Of course, you can.' I answered, Spencer and I, both smiling.

He immediately took one of the presents his name was written on. He tore the wrapping paper off, revealing a box with a racing car on it. There was a whole race track in it, with two cars to race against each other. It's something, he wished for.

'SO COOL! Look what Santa brought me! Daddy, do you want to race with me?'

'Yeah, of course! Let's build it.' I watched my husband squatting down, building together with our son the race track.

• he’s touch starved. like, this probably isn’t even a headcanon, you can’t look at that man and tell me he’s not

• he has a lot of general physical contact when it comes to training.

• but friendly, kind touch? like a hug from a friend or a joking shoulder squeeze?

• he’s always held himself apart from the other soldiers, a bit. especially when they started looking up to him. he needed respect, not affection.

• but he’s also touch-averse.

• there’s a gentleness that kind touch brings out in you

• and he is afraid of it

• for this reason, he naturally tends to lead with his left arm, the metallic one. it keeps other people’s warmth distant, and leaves them with the impression of him as something cold, hard, and made for function

• it’s just easier that way

• (but not better.)

people pleasing

• he used to be a people pleaser.

• it’s an easy habit to develop, when you’ve got abandonment issues and would do anything to get the parent who stayed to stop

• and he wasn’t strong enough to fight back, anyway

• if he got the impression that someone would even bother to look at him twice, he would practically build his whole personality towards them

• he’d pick up shared hobbies even if he hated them

• shared likes and dislikes, attitudes, world views…

• he just turned himself into a mirror, because that’s what he thought he was supposed to do

• this is what led to rex bullying him

• it’s pretty easy to see when someone’s doing this, and even easier to think it’s just them being fake, or mocking you

• after he broke rex’s arm, he stopped

• but he swung like a pendulum in the complete opposite direction

• he started intentionally scaring people off, because they never did him any fucking good

• he’d intentionally become everything they disliked if someone tried to get close

• for a while, it was a total personality shift, too

• he’d make his whole life about making them want nothing to do with him

• as he got older, he became more of a person for himself, though he still tends to mix and match quirks and interests to shrug people off

• he actually didn’t hate xenos when helios first landed

• he was wary of them, but he found them… interesting

• one of his first days out of the colony walls, he came across a hopeye that was just hanging out, making cute hopeye noises

• vace made sure there was no one around who could even possibly see this

• and then tried to pet it

• but the helios? didn’t really have animals

• so vace? didn’t really know how to handle animals

• and he startled the poor thing, which chomped down on his hand (metallic one) and then bolted

• it didn’t hurt, but it did fuck up one of the finger joints a little, and he had to fix it in engineering

• (but he did fix it himself, because he wasn’t admitting to anyone what happened)

• he admits that to solane one day, after they’ve grown close

• and solane is trying so hard to be proud of him for sharing this, because it’s hard for vace to admit anything

• vace doesn’t like the cold

• it makes him put on layers, it makes the metal on his arm feel weird, the parts it connects to ache… anytime he has to go into a room where the AC is kept running, he’s grumpy

• but he also used to watch a weird amount of winter holiday movies as a kid

• (he once got lum with a home alone style trap, when lum was a teenager)

• so he’s always found something kind of magical about snow

• but real snow is freezing

• (supposedly)

• (he’s never actually seen any)

• his favorite vertumna season is quiet

• sometimes, when he goes out of the colony during the snows, he just finds a quiet spot to stand and let it fall on him. it reminds him a little of stars

alcohol

• he doesn’t like alcohol. the flavor is awful, and his augment makes him a heavyweight. so trying to actually get drunk isn’t even worth it.

• but he refuses to avoid it

• he thinks it’s the only way to prove he’s not as weak as his father

• to stare the same temptation dead in the eyes, and refuse to give in

• and—he doesn’t. he doesn’t experience the change in brain chemicals, doesn’t become dependent on it.

• that doesn’t mean it’s healthy, though. especially not mentally. he’s still letting that ghost haunt him, control him

• and it takes a few years for that to finally get a mention in therapy with congruence. and even when she explains that to him, it doesn’t really… take.

• but congruence and sol share records, when necessary for the good of a patient.

• so eventually, sol sits vace down. in his office, in an appointment, completely professional setting.

• and he lays it all out for him.

• you see, alcoholism is partially influenced by genes. and if vace’s dad had the genes for it, it’s possible vace does too. but the way vace’s augment works, it’s harder for things to affect him. it would take a genuine, concerted effort to get him addicted to something. like, medical intervention.

• but if he ever has children… they might get the genes.

• but it’s not the be-all end-all. it’s also influenced by environment. strongly by the examples they see as they grow.

• and if one of his kids sees his attitude, that alcohol avoidance is some challenge to be conquered, and adopts the same attitude, without the same augment…

• vace stops drinking, then

• it does take a while, because it’s kind of habit at this point. if there’s alcohol, drink it. suffer through the nasty taste. prove you’re better. he doesnt even usually consciously decide to drink.

• but he does get there.

chronic pain

• it’s his arm

• it’s hard to hurt him in a way that leaves a permanent mark

• so to damage his arm to the point that it comes off, or needs to be removed?

• that fucks shit up

• and it was weird to him, for a long time

• he’s not super used to feeling pain, not on a scale similar to other people. he doesn’t know if his pain tolerance is high because he can take harder hits, or if he genuinely feels pain differently.

• (it’s a bit of both, really. he is harder to damage, but pain isn’t nerves being damaged. it’s nerves saying “hey, something dangerous is happening”. but, what is considered “dangerous” to his body is a different level. and that’s the level his nerves are used to. if someone else were given his augment later in life? it would take a while for the nervous system to adjust. and that while would suck.)

• but, chronic pain? it’s his nerves trying to say hey this is wrong, we should fix this, but no one listens because really, there’s not a whole lot more to do?

• phantom pain, too. it’s hard to rewire that, once the path has been made.

• but pain medication?

• well… chemical-altering substances don’t affect him nearly as easily. so they don’t help.

• he just… brute forces his way through it. refuses to let it affect his day to day life.

• he doesn’t let himself have “bad days”.

• which really just means he overexerts himself until something happens that makes him take it easy.

• (for a while, it’s rhett coming up with an excuse. or implementing a rotating system for soldiers to have a week off)

• eventually, therapy helps him start to change that mindset, too

So a litte s7 mcdanno ramble incoming

Okay so as much as I've been loving s7 so far, and despite how grateful I am for all the mcdanno moments we got,

I have to ask, is it just me or is Danny a lot more distant and standoffish with Steve?

Don't get me wrong I love their dynamic this season a lot more than in the two previous ones, but something feels strange?

But it's not the entire time?

Let me give you an example:

at the start of the season, the boys finally have that somewhat rocky but much needed return to their old heart to hearts and they say their casual "I love you's" and it's great!

Steve listens to Danny, doesn't get himself killed and Danny's genuinely happy for the first time in what feels like two seasons. Everythings great!

this happy mood keeps mostly continuing in the next episode, when they're running around with the MI6 James bond dude, they have their little "let's go to London, Rachel and I went their once" "no, I don't want you to be sad:(" "well, that's why you're gonna be there to make me happy, Steve" talk (heavily paraphrasing here) and it's still great! I love it!

Their still bantering but it feels like they're both making an effort to show the other how much they love and appreciate each other (romantic, platonic or otherwise)

but then after this Steve seemingly stays the calmer more emotion matured version of himself and actively seems to make an effort to be sweet and thoughtful most of the time, but Danny doesn't?

And that feels like an active choice here? But one I don't really understand yet?

Like this whole time I thought their arguing this season felt less toxic than before because both where making an effort, but after ep 2 it's always Steve that seems to be "the more reasonable one" that meets Danny half way, and is all sweet and understanding and as a response Danny just stays standoffish and really acts like a dick most of the time??

Also somewhere around the middle Danny stops saying "I love you" back to steve? And I just think that's more than a little odd, considering he had no hesitations saying it throughout half the series and even at the start of the same season?! on the same note, what was up with Steve adding that very forced sounding "bro" after his "I love you" in ep 18?? That felt beyond weird

I just don't get the angle here?! I don't really think they were trying to make it "less gay" only because it be kinda late for that, considering they had no problem saying it before or after similar situations?

So my only theory is that it was intentionally done to show that something maybe going on with Danny?

He has been behaving mostly like a dick towards Steve this season which isn't really news but I guess it just makes him look really bad in comparison if Steve doesn't rise to the same level of "assholery" anymore, it's starting to feel really out of character tho how in basically every interaction now when Steve does something nice for Danny, Danny doesn't even say thank you?

It's just not like him and the longer the season goes on the worse it seems to get?

Maybe this is all ment to be about Danny slowly distancing himself because of his retirement plans? But that still doesn't feel right to me?

Idk maybe I'm overreacting a little because despite it all Danny's still my little favorite dude, but the way he's writen this season just doesn't sit right with me right now

After a long debate and one misspelt poll name (minon -fish) the rival is named! Wallow, the evil version of Willow who is Definitely Real and Willow totally didn't just commit those crimes. Totally. Yep. Awesome.

The rival's creature is name Potodile.... cute creature with pot on head

One time, it didn't talk to it's ingame mom before leaving and it felt so bad that it reset the game. That is a canon thing that they said. honestly real and canon.

The first encounter, a Pidgey! Named Moe Wings! +1 Pokemon!

An idea was tossed around about giving her yuri wings and a lot of history was discussed during the drawing of this creature!! very cute and a v fun segment

tbh i had to go get water and missed Poke Bowl's catching, but we got Poke Bowl the Metapod with only Harden! How fun :) + 1 Pokemon!

Soon after, Willow caught a Spinarak! Between the choices Bobbin and Spindle, it chose Bobbin! Personally, this guy is my favorite thus far :) + 1 Pokemon!

Then, we arrived in the Belsprout Tower! Thing! (idk ive never played HGSS) and caught a silly Ghastly! Dimple! Well, silly sure is a word for it. Watching this thing being animated was... interesting. :) + 1 Pokemon!

After a quick almost-death with Moe Wings, Willow dives into the gym! Falkner makes a great show of how bird pokemon are superior and then gets his first pokemon absolutely DESTROYED by Moe Wings.

Attempting a switch, Dimple is brought down to 4hp after a single gust. Swap out into Kettle, a few close-calls, and then the first gym badge is Willow's!
