I love Itachi so much. Not in a "he was right" way but specifically in a "wow he was terribly wrong" way. He was so awful and it's so painful because you know he loves Sasuke so much and he would never in a million years do anything to hurt him purposely–– but he does, and that's what matters. He thinks what he's doing is worth it and he thinks he's doing what's right, and he's not. He's just continually digging his grave and making it worse and because of his own stubbornness and sunk cost fallacy he won't–– and perhaps can't–– change it. Because admitting that he's wrong, that it was all for nothing, is unimaginable. Because where do you go from there, when you've killed and/or irreparably traumatized everyone you care about, and then you find it was for nothing at all?

I love you in the way that crickets love the night, I reach for you in the way that Lady Justice reaches for her blindfold in the morning. I desire you in the way a young child wants a lollipop and I yearn to hold you the way the land holds secrets and stories.

There are often times I see a fire and understand the process of oxygen and fuel's relation, in the way that we once were, yet I see the way the sea returns to the land and recognise that both ways were an imagination.

I question the hold you have on me, to realise that the moon and I were not too different, if you were the Earth I gravitated towards but I could not hold.

You were not mine to begin with, nor are you mine to end with, the same way a film starts and concludes, a fourth wall perspective to watch from outside, hoping you'd break it.

The space between us in not less that a space between two paragraphs, not less than the distance between two rows in the cinema, not less than the space between the road and the parking slots.

I imagined you upon the pillow beside my head, only for it to wash away when I woke up, the episodes of my TV show with breaks as I showered and for you to never experience the dialogue I wrote between moments of awareness and slumber, the moments of beauty of my words I wished to say.

LOYALTY

Sigma is an INCREDIBLY resilient and loyal person once you gain his loyalty. More so to particular PEOPLE rather than groups, although he isn’t one who will easily abandon or turn on a group. It’s just that he is more willing to leave a group than leave specific people. But he is so, so painfully loyal. He isn’t one to easily be shaken or effected by what other people say when it’s someone he is close to and cares deeply for. He isn’t someone who rumors can get at, and he can endure a LOT. After all, the majority of his beginning years was filled with cruelty and suffering. As the saying goes, when you’ve never been fed love, you learn to lick it off the edge of a knife. He can handle so much and asks for SO LITTLE in return. Just show or tell him you care sometimes. That’s all he needs, and I don’t mean this just romantically, but platonically as well. Even if you’ve done horrific things, he’ll still be there. (After all, our dear angel doesn’t have clean hands himself.) 

It’s so sweet, and so painful. He will endure the fires of hell and torture of the Furies for those he cares about. You can torture him, he will not turn on them. It takes a LOT to push him to break that loyalty - and that almost always has be by the person he’s loyal to himself. Them turning out to just be using him, not caring anymore, that sort of thing. And even in then, it’d deeply hurt SIgma, he GRIEVES before he experiences anything else. But short of that? His loyalty is SO strong. Even if you temporarily hurt him, if you explain it later that there was a good reason, he can and will forgive easily if he already has a strong sense of loyalty to you. It might have cracked or been wounded, but it quickly can repair itself with him. He WANTS to trust, he WANTS to believe, he WANTS to support those he’s loyal to. So he gives his everything into his relationships. He pours his heart and soul into those bonds he creates with people.

Sigma doesn’t give his loyalty easily after everything which is WHY he puts so much into those loyalty ties he makes. He gave it CONCERNINGLY EASILY to Fyodor and Nikolai, because they were the first people who he met who treated him like a PERSON. Yes, he made a deal wit Fyodor. But he was spoken to as an equal and the deal was honored. Sigma latched onto that fact he was treated as a person by them, he spent time with them, and became very loyal to them. He was also highly INFLUENCED by them, like being wary of the detectives, the hunting dogs, having that double faced nature - Sigma, the beloved casino manager that the clients know, and Sigma the decay of angels member who will do whatever he needs to. He learned not to trust as easily, but that doesn’t mean he CAN’T form those bonds. It just takes more time.

Sigma’s LOYALTY also doesn’t equal to his TRUTHFULNESS. He will do whatever is best for those he is loyal to or most things they ask. Obviously its easier with other Decay of Angel members because they ALREADY know who he is (both sides) so he doesn’t need to hide himself. But for friendships or relationships with people OUTSIDE of it, he can still be LOYAL, he can still CARE, but it doesn’t mean he’ll share everything. Like he won’t share he’s a member of the Decay of Angels till the SKyfall arc events obviously unfold. He IS overall very truthful and honest, he doesn’t want to deceive those he cares about, and he’s loyal. But he WILL omit certain matters like his allegiance.

TLDR: Sigma is an EXTREMELY loyal person whose loyalty can almost only be shattered by the person he holds it to, but for NON-DOA members, it doesn’t equal him always telling the truth.

Listen, you should never film strangers in public without their consent, but I swear there need to be fines or something for people who do that shit in some spaces. For example: I had to go to the ER last night, and some jerk filmed a woman who just came in and was clearly having an asthma attack. She immediately got to go back, and he was unhappy about that. Believe me, I get that it sucks having to wait when you're in pain, but you don't get to pick who deserves care when. The medical system in the US is a nightmare, and the ER could be the worst moment of someone's life. No one deserves to be recorded because some jack ass believes someone doesn't look like they need care.

This is fine to reblog. People who film strangers should be shamed if nothing else.
