I was thinking about universe swap AUs where characters from very dark (and often abusive) universes get brought into a much kinder universe. Those AUs are my favourite but consider:

I hear all your 'Wade fell first and Logan fell harder' plotlines and thats incredibly based but i raise you the opposite.

At the end of the film, Wade is quite literally Logan's entire world. Hes HIS marvel jesus. He dragged him out of his depression pit, sent him on an emotional rollercoaster, fucked him in a honda oddessy and gave him a new home, new family and new reason to live. He was prepared to die for him, and then with him, three days after meeting him, and when they survive he immediately agrees to move in with him like a domesticated stray. Bro might like Wade juuuust a little bit methinks.

Meanwhile Wade is very casual and enthusiastic when it comes to hookups/flirting/physical contact, the whole deal, and he was 100% down the entire fucking film to get in Logan's pants. But i think when it comes to real romantic feelings hes much slower to develop and realise them. And god forbid he try to pursue the person with his self worth issues (of course THE Wolverine wouldnt be interested in him, ha! Can you imagine?). But when he falls, he falls HARD. Vanessa was previously the only person he truly liked romantically, and i dont think hes fully over her yet at the end of the film. But over time with his new roommate and their dog, it just hits him like a fucking train.

He looks at Logan one day, maybe in the late morning after a long night of merc work when hes making them coffee wearing Wade's too tight shirt with dogpool under his arm and instead of daydreaming about sucking him off sloppy style like usual Wade just thinks. Huh. I kinda wanna just kiss him right now, maybe go on a nice little date and pick out baby names together- wait what.

Im just thinkign. I dont think Wade would be so quick to jump to a real romantic relationship, his feelings towards that sort of thing are much more intense than just his usual lust and i dont think he'd pursue it right off the bat. But they figure it out, of course they do.

Ghost - Oscar Piastri x UnknownDriver! Reader Part 2

Plot: Reader is the first female F1 driver of the century, however no-one knows that as you are a ghost on the grid. You started in 2022, coming in P12 in the championship. You get moved to Red Bull Racing in 2023 with the off year for Sergio Perez.

"Ghost, Radio Check Please" you engineer says as you pull from the pits.

You hadn't got a win yet, of course you'd had many podiums. Some even last year when you were with Alpine, more this year with Red Bull.

You wanted the win, even though it meant showing who you were and that came with a price, you felt ready. You just needed a reason to come forward with it.

However, even with Oscar's assuring words earlier in the day your P15 start because of the way qually went for you didn't feel like a win was applicable.

"Check" you say before driving out of the pits and into P15 behind Sargent and in front of Tsunoda. You really though that today might be the day and it would have been iconic it being your home Grand Prix and all. But it just didn't look possible when you weren't even in the middle sector of the grid.

You released a big breath as the red lights went out, you dived forward taking over Sargent gaining one place. Esteban who was ahead of him, seeing your Red Bull immediately forgot about Stroll ahead of him and starting defending against you.

For the first 14 laps, in your sector there weren't many changes in positions. Up ahead you had no idea what the grid looked like. But nothing much had changed behind you.

It wasn't until you could feel your tires both getting warn out and starting to struggle with the typical UK drizzle that was upon the race.

"Need to pit soon, cars getting harder to manage with the rain" you admit, knowing that the pit crew already probably have the intermediate tires ready for you.

"Pit on the next lap. Max will pit after you" he advises. However as your coming into the pits, you can see that Vertsappens Red Bull is currently there having its tires changed.

"What the fuck is going on?" you ask pulling up behind Max just as he leaves making you pull forward.

"Copy" is all you get and you let out a frustrated sound that was between a yell and a grunt.

Red Bull made up for it with an exceptionally quick stop for you and you got out on the track again. Luckily, others had pitted as well due to the weather conditions, so you came back out in P15.

"Look, I'm sorry about the incident Christian and the strategists are looking into it but there something I got to ask you, because clearly these methods are no longer working!" you hear you engineer say, you ignore him for a split second taking the corner before you throw back your moody reply.

"What?"

"Who runs the world?" he asks and a smirks comes onto your face. Lewis may have hammer time, but boy oh boy...

"Girls, John, Girls run this mother fucker" you shout into the radio before breaking late and overtaking Lance who was the unfortunate soul currently trying to defend from your driving.

You gain further up, Ocon ahead of you.

"Gap to Ocon?" you ask.

"0.3" you hear, you drive up so your behind him, you swerve the tiniest bit right, he does the same making for a accelerated swerve from you to the left and a clean move up to P12. And just like that you started combing through the grid, Hulkenberg, Gasly, Alonso, Albon, Russell, Sainz and Leclerc all got combed through until you were sitting sweetly in P5, Max, Lando, Lewis and Piastri just ahead.

"Lewis and Piastri are ahead. Fighting for P3, if you catch them both by surprise thats a podium. Gap is 1.2 seconds. Increase on Sector 2"

"Copy that" you say, both the McLaren and Mercedes drivers once you get closer to them are dancing around each other slipping in and out of P3.

"Like two ostriches doing a tango up ahead John" you laugh into the radio.

Just as you manage to overtake the two distracted drivers down the small straight John comes back onto the radio.

"Max has damage to his car. He had to come pit and he's currently P9. You can win this, go prove Beyonce right" he says, this was all you needed. You were currently P2, Lando the only driver ahead of you and thanks to the straight a significant gap had been created between you and Lewis and Oscar.

"Distance to Lando"

"2.4 seconds, speed up that Sector 3 now and you've got him. He's on the newer tires but you can get him. Bring it home" he tells you and you go very serious. No thoughts just the track, you catch up to Lando within a lap, fighting with him for P1.

"Max has climbed back, he's P5 and Oscars trying to defend" you engineer says, you didn't currently care about how close Max was to you, just getting that stream on Lando that would get you the overtake.

SKYSPORTS LIVE: David Croft- Can i just say Martin todays race has been one of the best of the season, for some reason we haven't been allowed to aire the radio between Ghost and his engineer but whatever was said... he's had an amazing drive today, going from P15 all the way to P2 and potentially P1 depending how Norris actually ends up defending against him. Its just been tremendous Martin Bundle- Yes its been amazing from Ghost's comeback to, Lewis a 7 time world champ struggling to overtake and defend the current rookie on the grid, to Max Verstappen reporting car issues, to the lack of DNF's we've had here today at Silverstone David Coft- Oh my lord whats this? He's going for the overtake

Lando goes too wide, his wheel clipping against the track edging making you be able to accelerate past as he struggles to re-gain control.

You manage to get a good gap ahead around corners that prove difficult for the McLaren now behind you.

"One lap Ghost, hold" John advizes and you keep driving, the last lap feeling like a cool down, the sweat drenching all around you due to the panic and sheer oomph of the driving conducted today.

You took yourself out the car, handing the wheel to a Red Bull member before pulling yourself with the halo to stand on the front of the car. John and a few other members pull you down to celebrate with them, before you are ushered off to be weighed.

The cool down room was awkward as you could never speak to the people in there, so you would shake hands before excusing yourself. You took the balaclava off, before tucking your hair in and placing your helmet back over your head.

Now it was time for the podium! Your first winning trophy and you couldn't be more excited, nothing could bring down you mood!

Or so you thought.

You went onto the stage, knowing this was the reveal. You and Christian had spoken about it, knowing your first win was inevitable.

"Today has been a historic day at Silverstone. Not only do we have three Brits standing proud on their home podium, we've had one of the biggest comeback of the year today, despite the mistimed pitstops and the weather, he has pulled his first win out of the bag!" an announcer says coming onto the stage.

"Before we go any further Christian Horner would like to say a few words" an announcer admits, Lewis and Lando turn to you excited to finally see the person behind the helmet. Lando had this running joke that you must be obscenely ugly which is why the helmet is kept on because 'Ghost' is intimidated by him and all the other attractive faces present on the grid.

"Hello everyone. Today doesn't just mark historic reasons for the ones just said. Ghost joined us at the end of the 2022 season when we brought them out of their 2 year contract with Alpine, there was ability and promise there that the team didn't want to both miss out on or go to an enemy team and become a menace on the grid. However, Alpine let a few of us at Red Bull in on Ghost's little secret and to say we were excited was an understatement. This year they have proved their worth and i cant wait for their future at Red Bull. That being said, i think its about time i introduce you to Ghost" he says gesturing towards you.

"This is Y/N Y/L/N" he shouts as you take of the helmet displaying your face to the world. Not only could gasps be heard from the drivers right next to you but from the whole crowd not expecting this outcome.

Lando was in a state of shock, he didn't know what would unveil from that helmet but Oscars longtime crush Y/N Y/L/N the sweet Social Media Manager for Ghost was not one of them.

He was confused at how she had managed to pull of this double life, but ultimately was so happy. This was an important day for her, being the first female to ever win a F1 race.

His eyes flicked down to Oscar in the McLaren section as he'd promised to come watch his best friends win, even if he wasn't up there with him. Lando's gaze met his and there were too many emotions upon the usually chill and placid male that he couldn't dechiper what he was feeling.

There was anger, sadness, frustration, betrayal. And he could have sworn, there were a couple of tears brimming the edges. Lewis had you pulled into a hug right now, congratulating you for everything you've achieved up until now, as all of your achievements were bigger and meant more.

As you went to turn to Lando to pull him into a hug, seeing as you guys were friends as yourself, but seeing his gaze fixed on Oscar a feeling of hurt formed in your chest. His gaze locked onto you and the force of his anger and betrayal could have knocked you back.

He ran off into the crowd back towards the paddock, you wanted to go follow but Lando shook his head. As much as this had hurt Oscar, you deserved to enjoy this moment.

But knowing you'd hurt Oscar, you didn't enjoy a single moment.

Izuku Midoriya

Midoriya is semi ok with PDA he like people to know that you two are together with out having to say it. He like feeling close to you but he won't kiss you on the lips in public.

Midoriya takes notice of the little things you do and or like. He has his own journal about you. He knows when you've reached your limits and when you need breaks. He knows everything you enjoy from movies to flowers. You guys know each other so well its almost instinctual.

Midoriya is a sweetheart but after his first year at UA he grew some tough skin. Training to be a hero already puts you on edge but Training to be a symbol is harder especially when you're on the line. He doesn't play when it comes to you.

Izuku Midoriya might be a softy at times but when it comes to you, his friends, and Civilians, he's a protecter.

Shoto Todoroki

Todoroki likes to be private so PDA is a no go for him as publicity is a bitch and he’s still Endeavors son. Not that he doesn’t wanna show you off it’s just he doesn’t want a bunch of randos having extra pictures of him much less with you. He makes an exception for hand holding on days where you both need a little extra love. Behind closed doors, thats when he becomes so clingy even just in the dorms and not in your personal rooms.

Todoroki at first isn’t to sure how to be someone’s partner as none of the girls that pursued him never got his attention. The only example he has is Natsuo but he doesn’t ever bring his girlfriend home, but he watched you quietly and would talk to you about what you wanted and what you liked and would listen about topics you grossly know too much about. As time goes on he figures it out, learns what you need and is so sweet but still a little dense.

Todoroki loves to spoil you when he has the chance. When he and Endeavor started to re-kindle their relationship Todoroki accepted a Debit card that is loaded for necessities and such. So if you even whisper of wanting something and he can get it, he’s already got it. He says quote ‘You’re so kind and deserving so why wouldn’t I get it’. Not only is he physically Rich but he also once he gets comfortable with you and the relationship is a Rich lover.

Shoto Todoroki is a learner but a Rich lover so be good to him and he’s good to you.

Tenya Iida

Iida is a strong class leader along side Momo. He is very confident and concentrated on being a good class rep. He like Bakugo HATES PDA as he sees it as A) breaking the rules and B) a breach of your intimate privacy. He will only hold hands if you just absolutely need some affection. He prefers to be touchy behind closed doors.

Iida is strict to his rules even with himself. He tries to keep everything in line. Tries as when it comes to you he will lightly bend the rules for you. If it’s late and you need him, his doors open even past curfew sometimes. Wanna cuddle and end up falling asleep in his bed, he lets you until curfew and brings you to your dorm room. He would bend any rule for you. Bend not break. He is more loyal to you than a dog is to his owner. Iida will not stand for any slander or insults towards you or about you.

Iida is hard working and driven by his peers. He won’t give up and won’t stop working towards his goals so be lucky that you became one of them. He cherishes you and thinks the world of you. He thinks of you as more then just a girlfriend. You’re his partner and Best friend. He helps you with whatever you need. No he won’t give you answers to homework but he will let you borrow his highlighted notes with tips hand written in the margins and go over the assignment without judgment. He also brings you books that he thinks you’d like and writes more notes in the margins for you varying from sweet I love yous to pointed out things that reminded him of you.

Tenya Iida is a smart lover, loyal companion, and a hard-worker. He is as good as gold so take care of him.

hes a little put off by you, and to be fair? who can blame him? youre a large shadowy figure with a giant skull for a head, and even if its not bloody its still a little freaky to look at

does his best to not let that get in the way, and when youre not being a prick he actually finds your company rather pleasant because you can offer up some interesting conversations

old sweet grandpa making evil creature a little less evil, my favorite trope that needs to be shown more

likes showing you some of the more gnarly or gross looking bugs he can find in the digital world because he knows you prefer those over the prettier or cuter ones

-🍎🔪 One moment you were just watching Welcome Home and the next you where in Welcome Home, now just like any sane person you started to freak out when all of a sudden you heard a familiar voice. -🍎🔪 You quickly turned around to see the short, blue spiral haired puppet staring at you with the biggest smile on his face, he offered you his hand and somehow pulled you up from the ground and intruduced himself as Wally Darling, even though you knew that you played along. -🍎🔪 After Wally intruduced you to all the neighbours and Home he brought you inside Home saying that you can stay with him and Home while they your.....house....would be getting built..... -🍎🔪 Lets just say even though you loved Welcome Home you did not want to stay here forever I mean, you have a family! a life! but right now you have no idea of getting back home so you just agreed to stay with Wally until your house gets built. A lot of time went past, you stayed with Wally even though you were meant to have a house but you never questioned that, your main focus was getting out of this place but that was way harder than you thought, with Wally never leaving your side and always seeming to be staring at you until one day. You were just sitting inside Home on the couch when wally came up to you smiling with a small tint of blush? you smiled at him "hey Wally! whats up?" he looked up and smiled at you "hello neighbour! Home open the door please....Wally what the fuck is going on" you screamed turning around to see him infront of you, you backed up as far as you could from him "darling please, I can't let you leave me, i'm sorry for this darling, I hope you could forgive me" Wally smiled while staring at you when everything went black. You slowly woke up confused when you remembered what just happened, you tried to more but your arms were tied down with black vines? you didn't know what they were but at that moment you didn't care, all you cared about was leaving this place and running as far as you could from this neighbourhood. But than you heard him "your awake! I hope Home didn't hit you too hard on the head dear! but its okay now, your here with me forever."

This all goes down while Wukong's dealing with the fallout of the Brotherhood. As much as Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy, and the Ao Longs want to stay with the monkies, especially after everything that happened, they have their own livelihoods to handle and by the time the Brotherhood had first started their coup they has already spent way too much time in the Celestial Realm. So ince they've verified Wukong would be... okayish, considering the massive changes in his life he's got going on, they return home to get their matters in order.

Tang has a lot of backlogged projects and research papers that are overdue for his career, to the point that he nearly lost his job over it. Luckily, the fact he was in the Celestial Realm itself means he could easily convince the board of directors he was just working on a massive, long-term project that took priority and involved preciously unknown information about Sun Wukong... which bought him time, but now he has to slemhow to get permission to reveal the whole "Wukong actually had a Mom" deal, presumably heavily edited to spare Wukong his privacy and the fact he most definitely does not want to have the bureaucratic nightmare he's dealing with follow him home to the mortal Realm if and when he's allowed home.

Pigsy Noodles had several competitors pop up with Pigsy absent and a massive loss of revenue as a result. The restaurant is straight up not doing well right now, and Pigay has to work overtime and a half to get back up to speed. The months Pigsy had spent in the Celestial Realm and on FFM had caused many loyal customers to seek food elsewhere, most assuming he'd closed down for some unknown reason. He has to fight to get them back now (which probably leads to Food Wars)

Sandy's job as a ferry man was not as heavily affected, but his job as a foster for many a cat is heavily affected. The sitter he hired hadn't been able to handle the sheer volume of cats he had, and the place was a mess! Luckily, sll the cats remained healthy in spite of the environment being less than ideal, but many of the newer fosters were back to square one on Sandh earning their trust.

And then Pigsy found a cat demon kitten in the dumpster.

Yes! The Noodle Gang were able to support and care for Wukong when he was stationed on FFM, but now that he's a whole Realm away it's become a lot harder to do.

Even if LBD froze Megapolis for a bit, the world keeps turning.

They all have their own lives to attend to, no matter how much they wish to stay in the Celestial Realm. Especially since they aren't sure at first if the Celestial Realm has a time dilation problem like the myths say - luckily it turns out to be a mistranslation, "1 Celestial Day = 1 Earth Year" is a space/orbit thing, the days in Heaven are super long and it takes a whole earth year for a whole "day" to complete. But the guys arent taking chances.

Tang's gotta go back to work. Luckily the tasty lore and tomes he managed to scavange from the Imperial Library gives him a good excuse for his disappearance.

Pigsy is straight back into "the restaurant business is war"-mindset when he gets home. He may have served literal gods while he was away, but that means nothing if he's lost loyal patrons! He does get some odd-looking new customers that couldn't resist glamouring-up to taste "Marshal Canopy's decendant's" cooking though.

Sandy would not forgive himself if any of his foster cats got sick without him. He'd spend literal days inside tending only to them - exiting only to get deliveries and the odd ferrying job. He's been especially busy at the moment with "Little Lady" - a feral momma cat thats moved into the captain's bridge while he was gone, and has a runty blue-furred kitten who needs lots attention.

The Ao-Long couple have arguably more freedom than the rest of the gang, given their status as wealthy dragons. They easily explain the situation to the Dragon Kings and why they had to provide witness statements in a Celestial Trial - Ao Guang has been frozen stiff with terror for days at the thought of Sun Wukong multiplying. They're able to visit the monkeys more often than the others, especially since little Mei and Red Son are getting along so famously, and both have declared Xiaotian their duty to protect. The dragon couple are able to pass on messages and gifts between the monkeys and the Noodle Gang where it would have taken a lot longer otherwise.

The Noodle Gang try their best to visit the Celestial Realm when possible, mainly weekends. Tieshan is a big help with getting them there - Sandy's mechanical creations can only go so far (though little Red is fascinated with his attempts). They have to be careful though, like a casino it's easy to forget how much time is passing withthe super-long days - Tang has like a million alarms on his phone to remind them when to sleep and when to prepare for home. Its good to reconnect and bond with Wukong and his little family, but they often feel on measured time.

Then one night, as Pigsy was taking out the garbage;

Dumpster: (*loud crying/mewing* sounds*)

Pigsy, dread building: "Oh no..."

Pigsy dug around praying it was just a cat... only to half-right.

The next few hours are a blur.

matty revealing that jack has been found alive, and is in a hospital halfway across the world. and suddenly his world is crumbling down around him all over again. he has done all this moving forward and healing for what, just to leave jack behind? he shouldn’t have given up on him, he should have second guessed everything and searched harder. but now isn’t the time for regrets or sorrow, he has to go to jack.

mac walking into jacks hospital room just to break down in tears of pure joy and relief. to be able to see the face and smile of the man he’s loved so deeply all these years. finally getting to hug and feel that jack is truly here, truly alive.

jack slowly recovering and finally getting the okay to return home. mac offering to let jack stay with him for as long as he’d like, all his stuff is there anyways, mac couldn’t being himself to throw any of it away. mac worrying about not being able to hide his feelings while living with jack, but not being able to refuse the comfort of having jack nearby at all times.

mac never returning jacks dog tags, still keeping them close to his heart. theyve become too dear to him to let go of.

mac and jack having movie nights with take out and beers on the deck by the firepit, just like old times. talking about what they had gone through in the past few years. the grief, the pain, the trauma, everything but ache in his chest that mac so dearly wishes he could ignore.

mac and jack stargazing one summer night, leaning into each other and telling stories of growing up and lighter things. accidentally locking eyes during a lull of silence. mac breaking and deciding to let jack finally see the love and affection in his eyes that he’s always tried so hard to hide. jack knowing exactly what mac is trying to say with just his gaze; they’ve always been able to communicate with just a glance.

Gourmand: She/He/They Full of love and oh so happy with life. Simply went out into the world for FUN and to learn more, why not? Respected and highly regarded at the Home Tree as one of the smartest slugcats around. Coming up with ways to make meals more filling is always important with so many slugcats! Gourmand returns with many regions mapped out, and thus gives way to more slugcats to explore as groups and create homes for themselves. Teaches about the taming of lizards, and to take care when doing so. What was an incredible enemy can make a greater ally. All around a very positive, happy-go-lucky slug to me.

Artificer: She/Her I wanted her to design to be .. fire-esque with the markings like flames in a way. Obviously very troubled, so incredibly lonely because of it as well. She's afraid of connections, what if the past repeats? It would hurt too much. That SAID.. she will find her way to Outer Expanse and be welcomed with open arms. Prior, I think she was apart of a small nomadic family of slugcats so the Home Tree is something else entirely new. Arti could, in this scenario, take on the role of a community mother in a way. There's still fear of the past coming back in new ways, but in this she begins to open up more and becomes adoptive mother to slugpups whose parents have been lost in some form. I just think!! She deserves the world!!! She gets to relax. No more Situations.

Rivulet: She/He/They Somewhat based on how some aquatic animals have a whiter tummy to blend in to creatures below them in the water, and a darker upper body to camouflage to those looking down in the water. (A bit difficult with all the pink, I wanted to keep that on her though..) Very kind :) she loves to bring gifts to Moon, and periodically pays visits to 5P for as long as he still lives. I like to think they also lived with Moon until they passed themselves. Spent a ton of time listening to Moon reading the pearls he found out in the world, and exchanging stories (perhaps via writing..??) that they both have. Softanthiel still hangs around, primarily used as a way to gauge the danger of potential threats to the tree.

Spearmaster: It/They/He Definitely Looks like a slugcat but with something Wrong (on the wrong blueprints in a way). It is taller and longer than the average slugcat. Leaning more into the bodyshape it has in game (bowling pin looking ass) I’d say it has a harder time retaining fat through a liquid diet and constant movement as a messenger. Built quite sleek, I’d picture it with an agility somewhere between Artificer and Rivulet. Spearmaster has nasty little "spots" on his tail so why not give him little freckles too? SRS did not give SM a mouth, so, to me I think that he would be taught sign language. ASL (Ancient Sign Language) would no doubt be something stored and memorized on various pearls. Given its time around an Iterator it would also know how to read/write in the Ancient's language. I feel like they'd be quite a bit lonely.

Saint: They/He To me, they are a distant descendant of Monk. Their fur is very soft, almost like downy feathers in a way. Absolutely vital to their survival in the now frigid wasteland. Keen to grooming themself like a cat would! The echoes are old friends, a familiar warmth. Seeing them is like visiting family, of which Saint no longer has now. Definitely nomadic, never stays in a den for longer than three cycles. Lanterns are tucked into fur for ease of travelling with free hands. :) He's round and spotted because I love him so much!!

im back on my reinhard/julius agenda but hear me out okay.

au where they become friends much sooner. childhood friends au.

tbh there's not much to my white day au it was mainly supposed to be funny over anything else

the main plot is essentially rui being one of the mages at a castle but getting threatened with being fired which causes him to panic and claim that he has found a way to find the lost prince of the kingdom. he kinda comes up with semi working spell for that in a rush but the spell essentially leads him to a lost prince in general not specifically of their kingdom. after that rui with mizuki and akito in tow (as knights protecting/accompaning him) gets to toya who got adopted by tenmas as a kid and is running a family inn together with tsukasa and saki. theyre kinda hesitant to belive rui at first cause he seems like a scammer but in the end rui promises that he will help find out whats toyas past in exchange and they agree and go with them. but since like ive said all they know is that toya is "a lost prince" theyre not 100% sure its of their kingdom so while theyre on their way back they do like a cheklist of going to diffrent kingdoms for a quick stop and proving that yep toya is not that kingdoms prince

some other stuff that are not the main plot but might be entertaining:

- mizuki knows rui made everything up and is trying to cover for him and akito is the only one in the castle thats like "this guys bullshitting" and volunteered to join him to prove that the guy he found is not the prince. cut to a looney toons like compilation of rui and mizuki covering the truth in front of akito

- theres a slight tenma family side plot with saki wanting to leave to travel the world with l/n but not knowing how to tell tsukasa. In my head she claims that its because she doesnt want him to be alone and its harder now that she knows toya will probalby leave too but its also in a bigger part her being scared of leaving not in a "world is a scary and dangerous place" sense but in a "moving away can be a stressful experience" way and her feeling like telling tsukasa would make it final. toya learns by accident before the story starts and Ive imagined toya and saki bonding in scenes where they talk about how theyre actually kinda anxious to leave their home especially since its always been just the 3 of them. anyways it ends with a happy ending lol

- mafuyu is following them for plot relevent reasons i wont reveal in case i ever want to make more of it

- toya saki and tsukasa would get their white day outfits eventually but its not serious and in my head its them trying to disguise themselves to get into a royal event or something

- I wanted to make it a mizuruikasa au in a sense that mizuki and rui are already acting like a couple and then both of them are looking at this pathetic guy who tries to infodump akito whos a knight about knighthood and they think "I want him"

- theres some akitoya but its also mostly comical with akito having an internal conflict between "damn im falling for this guy" vs "I feel like liking the guy who im trying to prove is not a prince and rui is just making shit up is kinda like admitting defeat and I cant give rui the satisfaction"

- theres a song "learn to do it" in anastasia and this au exists 100% because ive imagined a scene where rui mizuki and akito desperately try to teach toya how to be a prince to it

jumping off what i said here, where he died with his family not knowing who he is, and completely forgetting about him [which. the forgetting is also related to in-world lore but i shant go into that until ive figured more details out. anyway]. THATS the biggest mistake he ever made. and it's not like he can just go back home and be like Haha sorry about how i acted! Do You Still Love Me. when we're introduced to him in the story, he's been dead/missing for 20+ years. he can't go back. he can't reconnect with his family. there's nothing to fix. he ruined that chance the second he went into that lake. has he moved on? of course not!!! will he?? entirely depends on how much he's willing to actually let people in this time round. he's got a second chance, and for a good while, he's not making the most of it. if anything he's going Backwards. and he has to live with that knowledge!!! haha [:

nightmare: What does your OC have nightmares about? How do they deal with their nightmares? Do they tell people, or keep it to themself?

before he died, he would've had a lot of nightmares growing up about drowning, or just losing his mind and wiping out his whole family and then himself, or just. simply just being watched by a woman who feels so Oddly Familiar to him but he cant quite figure out who it is. and while the others were distressing enough, that one was always the worst. because she would just stand there. and alex would be screaming and crying for help and trying to reach out to her, but just. could never get her attention. and that feeling would stick with him for So long throughout his life. much like all his other issues. he keeps those ones Locked Away too. no one knew he had horrible nightmares, night terrors, sleep paralysis, insomnia, etc etc. plagued by it every night!!! and he just. never ever got the help he needed.

now every day is essentially just a waking nightmare for him. he's in a world he no longer understands. it's significantly harder for him to blend in. he has to face the consequences of his actions every waking moment of every day. he's not doing great!

alright so...

afo never planned on ever having a kid so when he finds out his partner is pregnant he's oh....! (he forgot things like pregnancy can happen with unprotected sex, but he defends himself by saying he was having too much fun at the time to think properly!)

of course this is his flesh and blood and by extension a part of him, so he's not going to abandon it, it's going to stay with a nanny who works for him that has experience taking care of children. he'll provide resources to allow it to grow and thrive, but he is not going to play an active role in its life. maybe someday after he succeeds in getting ofa and taking power he will try to attempt to bond with his son again and see if he feels any affection then, but for now it'll be fine without him.

so little kunieda spends the first four years of his life being raised by a nanny and with limited access to the outside world. he's told his father provides everything and keep an close eye on his progress, but any further questions he may have about said father are never answered. he hopes as a young child that his father may visit him in person some day.

well afo's plans of being the absent father change when kunieda gets his quirk at the tender age of four, when he's notified by henchmen, who were sent to check in as the nanny didn't send her report to him, that she's dead and her body is some sort of plant... along with a distraught child who won't come out of his room.

afo decides to handle this himself in person and is intrigued, this must be the child's quirk. he's at that ripe age where children develop them, and what an interesting quirk too. he manages to coax the child into coming out and introduces himself as his father. he soothes him and finds out what happened between the child's sobs, it was an accident apparently. but afo assures him that it's nothing to be worried about and it was actually quite impressive, he takes him in where he starts playing more of an active role in his development.

kunieda's childhood with afo is essentially afo encouraging him to give into his more darker urges and not to be afraid to use his quirk on people (after all look how beautiful and big those plants bloom when using human flesh as nutrients). a lot of what afo believes in he passes down to his own son who learns eagerly from his father. he fully buys into believing his father is some type of savior for this world, doesn't help he was educated by some of afo's own cultists. affection is something to be earned not something freely given. so kunieda often goes out of his own way to please his father which afo enjoys. as he grows up he's given his own place in afo's organization as an personal assassin of afo's. it doesn't earn him any special privileges, in fact he has to work harder than the average minion for approval as afo is a lot harsher towards him as he expects nothing less than perfection and unwavering loyalty from his own offspring.

later he ends up in tartarus because he got caught up in all mights crusade in capturing all those closest to afo, though heroes don't find out that's his son. afo is too busy to bother breaking him out and everything that's in canon happens and he doesn't get freed until afo's own breakout in prison and we'll you know the rest.

might be kind of vague at points, but thats my idea on how this au would go.
