You are so right with this, but the children thing is so funny for me because a) how many kids Checo has/will have/want is none of our business and b) I don't understand why him having many (which again IS NONE OF ANYBODY'S BUSSINESS) children is seen as something bad/worth of ridicule/degrading, like dear haters, what have the babies done to you personally that you are trying to use them as a point of hate on their dad????? Where's the logic?

I also love that all the rumour enjoyers and haters completely erase Carola from the narrative but let me tell you, Sergio ain't having the babies on his own. It's not like it's his decision and again again, it's not like the dynamics of their family and their private lives have anything to do with us, the fans, the haters, the neutrals, the journalists or literally ANYBODY who isn't a part of their family.

(It's also ironic that the people who so openly talk about Sergio and Carola's private life are the same who would be the first to yell at anyone who says anything even mildly negative about Max and P or at those who take pictures of Charles on his walks with Leo, but I don't want to be a hater so yeah, double standards all around)

Checo's children are a soft spot to me, because he's such an amazing dad, I can't understand how people judge him just for having a loving family. I loathe the narrative of haters where they claim Checo is abusive to Carola and mean to his kids. Carola is one of the strongest women I've seen, because she handles the speculations about HER marriage with class. She is firm and she knows her husband.

When the whole 'cheating' debacle happened, people were so awful and mean, but I remember an interview with Carola where she said nobody knew what was happening in her marriage, and it was a private matter that nobody should feel entitled to intrude. If I remember the words, she said 'you should talk about Checo the driver, not the husband or the father, because that one is private and our own' (or something similar, it was a long time ago).

People feel so protective about P, or Rosberg's girls, Nico and Kevin daugthers (this looks like I said they are married and have daugthers, I meant each one has a daugther), doesn't Checo's kids deserve the same respect? They are children, blameless in this.

Checo is an adult, and although he doesn't deserve the hate, he can take it... but his kids? I fear Chequito reading about how people wish harm on him or his siblings, or people laughing because they are a loving family. No kid should be exposed to this, and the worst thing is that ADULTS are attacking kids and mocking families... Carola is a classy Lady, because honestly, I couldn't handle being in this circus.

Anyway, sorry about that anon, I rambled a lot, but I just get your point and it makes me mad when people messes with kids and families as if it was a bad thing.

Recently a Checo FB Fanpage uploaded a video, from Carola's IG and Checo's docuserie, and I love it so much, I want to share it with you (and all Checo fans).

When Carlota says 'don't go, Dad', such a heartbreaking moment, but it shows how much his kids love him (and how much he loves them), I can't believe people dare saying he's a bad father or criticize his family.

Just leave his family alone, please, if you must, stick to messing with the adult driver.

getting emotional over footage of an amateur scuba diver interacting with a coelacanth. they are hunted by large deepwater predators, and here comes a large creature bearing the brightest lights it's ever seen, making strange noises, but it does not shy away. it hovers, calmly, as the diver reaches out and trails a hand down its back. im strongly against the anthropomorphizing of real life animals but the stupid emotional part of me loudly insists this is because it recognizes us, the alternating movements of its four paired limbs matching the diver's four paired limbs, & it is thinking, "hello, cousins, we missed you these 66 million years, it's so good to see you again. welcome back, welcome home."

veilguard spoilers regarding a josie romance. but can we talk about the letter josie sends to a romanced inquisitor because. i’m sorry. fucking losing my mind at the fact that the inquisitor and josephine are close enough friends with the guy the inquisitor duels in her romance to be invited to meet his third child. implying they’ve been invited to the other two. at a baby shower and getting introduced as the one who dueled the baby’s father because he was trying to steal your girl. antivan romances insane.

ITS TOO FUNNY. i cannot imagine how they met and how yvette probably was like “teehee…. the man that my sister spurned…. has fallen in love with ME!” and the best/worst part is that ortranto really has. i like to think of them running around with each other and secretly meeting as though their families actually hate each other (they really don’t lol) . the ortrantos would probably be delighted to have their son actually marry a montilyet like they wanted, even better that they’re actually in love and it’s not arranged!

i have this image of josie going like “you can’t marry him. is this a joke, because it’s not funny. i almost embarrassed him! the only reason the ortrantos do not hate us is because he is a very kind man who saw that i was in love with the inquisitor! ….yes i suppose a very kind man like that could love you…….. yes of course i want you to be happy…… yvette gabrielle montilyet, i fear you are not hearing what i’m saying— DON’T SAY YOU ARE ALREADY AN ORTRANTO. DID YOU ELOPE? ah okay. don’t do that. i said don’t do that. yvette come back and listen to me” etc etc

of course i must believe that there was a big scene caused (once again) by a montilyet and ortranto that ends with lord ortranto making a speech where the publicly declares his love for yvette in front of all of antiva city to see and hear. so there’s no backing out from this one. in my mind there’s a rehash of the big “BECAUSE I LOVE HER!” (ortranto, desperate but genuine), “you do?” (completely aghast josie who has somehow missed the fact her sister has been giggling even more than usual), plus an “OF COURSE HE DOES!” (a thrilled yvette) that reminds josie so fondly of her own love story that she's immediately relaxed (and suddenly accepting) about this whole thing <3

Happy fix-it AU where Padme leaves Anakin anyway because she realizes how bad he is for her, and she ends up retiring because she REALLY doesn't want to be a Senator anymore (it was also maybe encouraged by her Queen after her secret marriage to a Jedi was discovered) and she goes back to Naboo to be with her family. She's left behind her responsibilities but she doesn't know what to do now, she's just... adrift, sort-of in limbo and mourning her relationship with Anakin. She has to keep convincing herself not to go back to him because she KNOWS she doesn't want that anymore, she KNOWS she doesn't want to be the person she was with him again, but the thrill of the secret marriage to someone who was so passionate about being with her is also sort-of like a drug.

Her parents both offer to let her come help them in their respective jobs, but she doesn't really have the energy for that right now. She DOES like helping Sola with her nieces because their energy and innocence seems to be a balm for her heart. One day, Sola asks if Padme can take the kids to a local festival in Theed one day while she and her husband go do something else, and Padme agrees. The girls are old enough and Theed is safe enough that they can wander off on their own away from Padme as long as they know not to go TOO far and come back to her after a little while. As she peruses the different artwork on her own, one artist's work stands to her more than anyone else's, it just hits at the core of her and she's not even sure why. She stands in front of a painting of a bird in flight for what seems like hours, though it can't be more than a minute or two, before the artist himself comes over to speak to her.

He addresses her as Senator Amidala, and she quickly tells him that she's not a Senator anymore and she doesn't really want to go by the name Amidala either, she prefers just Padme these days. He agrees, and something about him, maybe his eyes, seems familiar but she can't quite put her finger on it. They talk about his art for a while and everything he says about his inspiration feels like it's speaking directly to her. Eventually, Pooja and Ryoo come up to her and start pulling at her hands, demanding that she come see something with them. Before she leaves, she finally realizes she didn't even know his name and asks him.

It's Palo. The first boy she'd ever loved. The last time she'd seen him she'd been twelve in the Legislative Youth Program. She knew he'd left politics to become an artist instead, but she'd never actually seen any of his art before or ever tried to get back in contact with him. Now she wishes she had. Pooja and Ryoo are still pulling her away so she doesn't have time to really get over her shock at this revelation before she has to leave him behind and someone else comes up to ask him a question in her place.

He shows up at her parents' door the next day with the painting of the bird she'd so adored, and offers it to her as a gift. He refuses to accept any payment for it no matter how much she insists, but asks if she'd be willing to take a walk with him instead. She agrees. They end up spending the whole day together, just talking. For the first time, Padme doesn't feel like she's drowning in her own feelings or floating with no direction. She feels a lot like she's finally come home.

Who the fuck were Lila's family? Her backstory in season 2 was that her parents are brits, but in this timeline she just has like 3 or 4 random american aunties and uncles and it's never explained? We're just expected to accept that she has this gaggle of family who are ready to babysit her plot device children.

And why are her and Allison the only one's who get other family members? it doesn't make sense and it feels like we were so cheated out of seeing the Hargreeves sruggle to fit in with whatever nuclear family dynamic this new timeline dumped them in
