Tumblr media
"I don't trust the dang Cloud. What if one day the Cloud Keeper wakes up and decides to delete everything, including all my homework and important files? I keep all my good work on a small collection of flash drives I have hidden around my apartment. Once I've submitted my work I just delete it off my computer so I never have to fear losing it.
I also print off the really good stuff. So I have a hard copy too."

Hobbies they like to share with you (Maedhros, Caranthir, Fingon, Turgon)
A/N: haven’t been on tumblr in a hot minute, damn. I come semi-back presenting you some hcs!
Tumblr media
Maedhros: strategy games
Maedhros is an excellent strategist, and he greatly enjoys games that challenge this skill. Board games or card games, either is fine with him.
Unconquered chess grandmaster of Arda.
He’s a gracious winner and would never dream of making you feel bad for losing. Instead, he’ll try to encourage you, so you keep up your motivation.
He has patience for days (perks of being the oldest of a dozen grandchildren) and nothing can make him lose focus. Good luck trying to distract him.
Has zero tolerance for cheating and is quite perceptive, so he’ll call you out at the slightest suspicion.
Since he’s good at reading others’ expressions and body language, he’ll quickly notice if you’re becoming stressed or impatient and will offer to take a break, if necessary.
His unending patience makes him a great teacher and he’s more than happy to share his strategic knowledge with you. Maybe afterwards you’ll have a chance of actually winning. If he lets you.
Tumblr media
Caranthir: cross stitching
Caranthir seems to have inherited his grandmother’s talent when it comes to all things sewing.
It’s a good meditative method to clear his head and it’s his go-to activity after a lot of stress.
Often incorporates elements of Míriel’s designs into his work, as a way of honouring her memory.
Since cross stitching is quite easy to learn, he won’t hesitate to invite you to join him. He’ll draw you in with motives like your favourite flowers or animals and once you’ve gotten the hang of it, the two of you have a lot of fun coming up with designs together.
He enjoys the companionable silence cross stitching together can bring. Sometimes the two of you sit together for hours not speaking a single word and it’s never awkward.
Tumblr media
Fingon: cooking
Fingon is a damn good cook and proud of it.
He was prone to starting food fights during cooking when he was young, but his parents scolded that habit out of him very quickly, teaching him instead to not be wasteful.
As a result, he can somehow still make five-star meals out of leftovers.
Even if you’re not a good cook yourself, he’s somehow able to enlist your help in a way that makes you feel productive and helpful. Leave the fine measurements to him, you just worry about the basics like chopping ingredients.
Loves trying out different cuisines. One of his early methods of befriending the Sindar was exchanging recipes. Sometimes it’s that simple.
Very enthusiastic about taste testing. If you have kids, he’ll definitely make them participate to hone their palate early on. You best believe his children are going to be the best cooks in the west.
Tumblr media
Turgon: miniature city building
If there’s one thing that fascinates Turgon, it’s tasks that require a lot of meticulous planning and fine details.
He’s fascinated by architecture and incorporates many different styles into his projects.
Is Gondolin really based on Tirion or is it one of the cities he designed back in Valinor? Only he knows the answer.
Once the cities are done, you better don’t touch them! Little Aredhel once thought they were toys and played out a “historically accurate reenactment” of an early Elven settlement getting raided by orcs … she hasn’t been allowed in Turgon’s workshop ever since.
Like Caranthir, he’s a big fan of companionable silence, though in his case it might not necessarily be intentional. He’ll invite you over to work on a project together, thinking it’s a great way to talk to you more and get to know you better, only to end up so deep in the zone you’ll have to do most of the talking.
His workshop is his little hideaway from the outside world and letting you in shows how much he trusts you. Doesn’t matter if you’re not gifted at fine motor tasks and can’t really help him, your presence is more than enough for him.

Ok, I have 3 days of RBH's to make and post today to make up for me missing the past 2 days. So, let's hit the road!
Random Batfam Headcanon's #22: The Adoption Habit Trilogy!
The Batkids have unknowingly inherited Bruce's patent for Adopting things, but the things they adopt are vastly different.
Dick: he has a bad (or sometimes good) Habit of Adopting new hobbies and interests at the flip of a dime. This is most likely just his old circus lifestyle + his ADHD catching up to him in his older years, but he can't keep still or do any 1 career for too long without it being monotonous. The only exception is Vigilantism because each night is vastly different than the night before.
Barbara: Babs has the habit of adopting the many regulars at Gotham Library as under her protection like Jason with Crime Alley.
Jason: He, ironically enough (and never let Jason or Bruce hear this), is the most like Bruce, because his adoption habit is ALSO towards traumatized orphan Kids (and normal kids with a little bit of a sad life. We don't judge), except he's set his scope a lot smaller than Bruce's in that he tries to limit his range to just Crime Alley. Of course he fails spectacularly and has a small caballe of International Children he's picked up on missions living together in Crime Alley, always having their various apartments directly across the street from his most secure Safe Houses. He also has an inexplicably near-complete collection of every variant of Jane Austin Novels.
Tim: Tim Collects Photos and used Coffee Cups. Does he also only save those coffee cups so he can extract the persons DNA into a vast database of his so that he may clone any of the Batfam (or all of humanity if needed) in case of world disaster events? Don't worry about it :)
Steph: Steph is probably the most normal when it comes to her Adoption/Collection because she has a very vast collection of random knickknacks that she's found or acquired over the years.
Cass: Cass has been testing out her sowing skills alot and so has conducted her own small game at her apartment in Korea (not that she doesn't bring it home to Gotham with her). And that's the fact that she's begun swiping up damaged bits of everyone's costumes after fights, and just random weapons or costume parts that the Batfam leave around the Manor, and she takes them back to Korea to stitch all the random pieces back together into her own version of the Batcave's suit display cases. So far the only suit she hasn't been able to start is Barbara's Batgirl suit design, but even then she's looking at that display case every time she's visiting like Indiana Jones trying to steal that golden statue.
Damian: Damian, Being both Bruce's direct blood relative and being raised by the Eco-Terrorists that are the LOA, adopts any random animals he can find, especially those that have naturally occurring Bat Shaped Birth Marks.
Duke: Duke is the kind of Whippersnapper to collect indie Rap mixtapes. You know, the ones from up and coming rappers who stand outside a 7/11 trying to sell anyone their debut mixtape for only $9. He has a pretty vast collection.

Can I be honest with you?
I hate how in some of fic act like Bk parents are blameless for how bk turn out
Because they aren’t
Bk clearly take his attitude from his mom , not only that, for what see from his dad he doesn’t seem to have to take serious action for his son (and his wife) bad behaviour.
Imo should Mitsuki realises how her son take his bad attitude from ger and try to fix both her AND her son behaviour and Masaru should grow a spine and punish Bk whoever he act disrespectful.
just to make it I’m not trying to defend Bk, I’m really aren’t . I’m just saying that part of issues with Bk is that he wouldn’t turn out this way if the adults in his life actually Teach him there Consequences for his actions/bother to do anything about his behaviour.
Be as honest as you like, anon!
I see where you're coming from.
Bakugo does indeed take his attitude from his mother. This is something in the text, and horikoshi has confirmed that whenever there are two parents with wildly different personalities, the child always takes their mothers personality. This is something that he confirms under jiro's parents' character profile.
Tumblr media
However, I wanna clarify mitsuki is a bad parent but she is NOT ABUSIVE!!!
There is a difference between being a bad parent and being abusive and mitsuki and masaro fit that difference.
@delawaredetroit post about bakugo, and his mother explains it the best.
Mitsuki has her fair share of bad habits that have played a part in influencing some of bakugo's characteristics. These characteristics can be bakugo's deflection, aka him not taking responsibility, which is something that mitsuki is seen doing here as she doesn't take responsibility for the way she influenced her son. Another characteristic that mitsuki's behaviour influences bakugo to develop an inferiority complex, which is built up by her own words of him "being too weak" as a reason as to why he got kidnapped. Bakugo also inherits his mother's own strong temper but unlike mitsuki who seems to come off as brash and quite rough around the edges but also nice bakugo is quite the opposite, he is rude and he does belittle his classmates and other people he interacts with which isn't something that mitsuki does.
However, the chapter itself also makes a strong and consistent point that bakugo's behaviour isn't just influenced by his parents (although they are heavy enablers), but they were also heavily influenced by his environment. You can make a point of again criticising bakugo's parents as they are heavily aware of their son always being coddled and praised for everything he does yet still not doing anything about it but there also needs to be a heavy understanding that a lot of bakugos actions are infulenced by 3 main factors which are :
His environment
Himself
His parents
When talking about bakugo or even writing about him, people tend to blame bakugo's actions on one thing instead of acknowledging that all three of these things play a huge part as to why he is the way he is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will be Frank. we don't see much of the bakugo family for me to get a firm grasp about their dynamic, but it does definitely seem that masrou seems to be quite assertive, in my opinion. Masarou's form of communication is quite different to mitsuki and mix that with bakugo's quite aggressive expressions he seems to get washed out and the panelling style makes it seem like he is quite passive but honestly I would argue otherwise.

SDV car headcannons
[this gets pretty specific because i've had way too much time to think about it]
1. Harvey
Harvey drives an old, beat-up red Ford Ranger. It's a standard transmission, and the clutch is super finicky, so when he tries to drive other cars, he has a bad habit of shoving in the clutch too hard (or if it's an automatic, slamming on the break, thinking it's the clutch). It was a gift from his parents when he started med school. It was old when they bought it, but Harvey does his best to maintain it. He's not a "truck guy," but he changes his own oil and keeps it running well. He would like to buy a Subaru because quote, "they're very safe cars," but he doesn't use his truck a lot as it is, so he doesn't see a need to get a new car.
2. Leah
Leah drives a silver Subaru Baja. You can not convince me otherwise. She views cars as a necessary evil. It wasn't really all that useful in the city, but she's glad to have it now that she lives in Pelican town. It's well-loved, and it's pretty beat-up, but Leah says it works fine for what she needs it for.
3. Shane
He drives a 1999 Ford Taurus in that weird pinky-gold color. It smells like pizza and pepper poppers, and there are feathers in the backseat. Sometimes, he'll let Jas sit on his lap in the driver's seat and let her steer while he works the pedals. Mayor Lewis caught them once and was not happy. Shane does it anyway because it makes Jas happy.
4. Sebastian
He drives a motorcycle, lol. I admittedly do not know very much about motorcycles, but it looks like a blue Kawasaki Vulcan to me, but idk. (If you know more about motorcycles, feel free to give your two cents)
5. Sam
Sam does not have his own car, but he frequently borrows the family van. It's a silver 2003 Honda Oddysey. The van lands him with driver duty for the band and their equipment.
6. Elliott
Elliott disagrees with cars ideologically. He had a grey 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander that he inherited from his aunt. He sold it before he moved to Pelican town. He thinks it's more romantic to walk everywhere, but if you ask him why he walks everywhere, he'll say, "Because of the environment."
7. Penny
Penny doesn't drive. Pam tried a million times to teach her, but Penny just doesn't want to. She doesn't trust herself with such heavy machinery.
8. Maru
Maru does not have a car but will borrow Robin's work truck if she needs to. Sebastian definitely taught her how to ride a motorcycle. One of her many ongoing projects is a custom bike for Sebastian. Demetrius was very insistant that she learned to drive stick.
9. Abigail
Abigail does not know how to drive. Pierre was too busy, and Caroline never felt the need to teach her. She's happy to explore by foot, so it doesn't really bother her.
10 & 11. Emily & Haley
Their parents bought them a 2012 light green Toyota Prius to share. Haley thinks it's cute and Emily likes that it's a hybrid. Haley says eventually she might buy a blue Volkswagen Bug.
12. Alex
Alex doesn't drive and it's a sore subject for him. Don't bring it up. He might end up crying. He's always said that he would want a green Dodge Charger as soon as he learns to drive.
I have more headcannons about the other characters, so I may put them in another post

Its a curse. No matter what story I read I always have to compare it to yours. Your writing and characterization is just perfect especially your Lily and James. I loved how you made James re-think his actions and when he questioned himself about being a bad person. Lily is often either a goody-goody or the biggest bitch alive. It really got me thinking when you said that shes kind but not nice. I am so excited for Lilys reaction when she finds out that the dog she revealed her secrets to is actually Sirius omg 🫶🫶🫶
I know its not a common question but when and where do you write? Do you have like your writing place or do you just begin if you have an idea. And another: Have you written many later scenes without writing the earlier ones?
Thank you so much 🥺❤️
I write in a lot of places!
I have my insane power user desktop set up (I have 4 monitors inherited from different jobs that thought it was less expensive to just give them to me when I quit rather than have me ship them back lol), but tragically this space has been spiritually tainted by remote work so I mostly only use it for plotting purposes when I need multiple screens. (I look like a serious business hacker gal with all my screens until you zoom in and see they’re all about my blorbos).
I’m not at Terry Pratchett levels yet but this is the vibe:
Tumblr media
I also have a little secretary desk in my living room and this is where I tend to write the most actual prose. Unplug the Internet, close everything except my scrivener doc, sit in the slightly uncomfortable dining chair my kitten has chewed to bits, and disappear from the world for hours. This is why I have back pain. :)
I also write on my phone a lot, usually when walking. I will 100% stop in the middle of the sidewalk (or politely step aside if it’s crowded, I’m not a monster) and hash out a full scene of dialogue if it arrives while I’m commuting, which it often does. Yes I have been late to work this way on more than one occasion haha.
As far as the when, that varies. During a good, fruitful writing season, it’s any moment I can get. During periods of burnout and block (which tragically I am weathering right now), I have to make a concerted effort. I have made it a habit to write every day first thing in the morning (well, after feeding the cats, I’m not a monster). These days it’s mostly just a free write/brain dump of everything in my head, but hey, it’s words. During better writing times, I have been known to crank out an entire chapter before work 😭
And to your final question, oh yes, I write totally out of order. I have more of TLE4 written than I do TLE3 haha. But I find this fun because then I get to sneak in all sorts of foreshadowing nonsense. 😈
Thanks for the kind words and fun questions!

I noticed something that I thought you may find interesting as you like parallels: When Jack is on his rock bottom (July 20th), he says
To me it seems only yesterday that my whole life ended with my new hope, and that truly I began a new record. So it will be until the Great Recorder sums me up and closes my ledger account with a balance to profit or loss. Oh, Lucy, Lucy, I cannot be angry with you, nor can I be angry with my friend whose happiness is yours; but I must only wait on hopeless and work. Work! work! If I only could have as strong a cause as my poor mad friend there—a good, unselfish cause to make me work—that would be indeed happiness.
On October 3 Jonathan starts his journal like this:
As I must do something or go mad, I write this diary. [...] Poor Mina told me just now, with the tears running down her dear cheeks, that it is in trouble and trial that our faith is tested—that we must keep on trusting; and that God will aid us up to the end. The end! oh my God! what end?... To work! To work!
It's pretty fascinating how Jonathan starts his narration as a hopeful, enthusiastic man, full of purpose, and becomes similar to the wreck that Jack was at the start, post-rejection, losing hope and clinging furiously to working, to not lose his mind.
Work! To work! That is a fun parallel to be sure...
Actually, I've noted before that Jonathan and Jack start out in opposition to one another in a lot of ways:
engaged to be married vs proposal rejected
recent career advancement and excited about it vs already well established but still clearly wanting to make his mark somehow
held prisoner by someone who calls him 'friend' and abuses power over him vs abusing the power he holds over someone in his care who he calls 'friend' (and all the various subsets of this one, such as 'gets his correspondence read' to 'reads private diary of his patient', etc.)
isolated by force vs chooses to isolate himself (not entirely but he definitely does retreat into work)
sleep-deprived due to being forced into a nocturnal schedule vs appears to regularly suffer insomnia/have bad habits around sleep
coded secret diary on pencil and paper vs audio diary spoken aloud into a phonograph at work
In the very beginning, Jonathan is also looking forward very much to his future, while as you point out, Jack is pretty miserable. He is ending his former life, closing a chapter. Meanwhile Jonathan is starting one - though it doesn't turn out to be the one he expects by any means.
I've not really considered the ways that those comparisons may shift later, though. October 3rd is definitely a close to a former chapter/life and the start of a new one for Jonathan. And he too struggles a lot with keeping up hope and throws himself into his work, his cause.
(While Jack wished in vain for a cause that would let him throw all his morals away, and looks to the idea of that as something that would make the work more effective in easing his own distress, Jonathan has a cause right away. And he later determines that he will throw his morals away if it come to that but is working ceaselessly to ensure it won't. Though he too has plenty of moments when there is no real action he can take and he "must only wait on hopeless" while they are trying to catch Dracula's ship.)
And while Jonathan never is romantically rejected, there's later a door shut between him and Mina, and there's this huge unspoken tension of what to do if she becomes a vampire. On the other hand, Jack was never accepted as Lucy's lover, but he does later on get closer to her as a friend while she is his patient. Their careers also switch emphasis a bit; though both abandon everything to go vampire hunting, prior to that Jonathan inherits everything and can put his name on it, while Jack is exhausted from treating Lucy and not keeping up super well with his work/patients. Increasingly after his arrival but especially when chasing after Dracule, Jack is in fairly close communication with Van Helsing and working as a team, but Jonathan gets very quiet and withdrawn when Mina is turning into a vampire (he always was but when he's not all living flame, in the aftermath of October 3 he appears even more so). We even get a little bit of Jonathan refusing to sleep when he should/can (until Arthur convinces him), while Jack is traveling at a rapid pace but his likely sacrifice of sleep is necessary to keep up that pace (and he claims it doesn't bother him). Jonathan kills his former captor/abuser. Jack's patient dies after he refused to let him leave when he begged to do so.
...If I'm looking for them, I can definitely find various ways they continue to be in contrast later in the novel as well.

Apologies if this was answered, but what are your thoughts/analysis about the natural way Oda portrays characters internalizing/repeating beliefs from others? Such as when Law word for word told Tashigi what Doflamingo had told him regarding "the weak not choosing how they die". It was rather baffling, because though Law and Doflamingo may share the "same eyes", to reiterate anything, even if true/you agree with, that someone you truly hate had said feels foreign to me (particularly because it doesn't necessarily feel like a scene where a victim hurts others the same way they were hurt?). Secondly, the amount of scenes Luffy has talking about his dislike for "weak people" or "crying" (Shirahoshi). I know Luffy had similar sentiments when meeting Shanks but to me, everytime he repeats it, I just see Ace talking. It almost feels like a subconscious way of holding onto a part of Ace. Interested to know any other instances you noticed!
Heyo, thank you for the ask and sorry for the very late reply. I was busy and then just kept getting distracted.
To talk about the scene with Law and Tashigi we first need to keep in mind that at that point, Doflamingo was basically living rent free in Law's head as he was so focused on taking revenge on him which must have triggerd a barrage of intense emotion of hatred, pain and fear on his psyche making him slip back into his sadistic habits that he gained after the Flevance genocide. So it isn't so far fetched that he subconsciously quoted the man he saw as an inspiration for three years when his mind was most vulnerable for manipulation. However, Law puts his own twist to the meaning of this quote. when Doflamingo says "the weak do not have the right to choose how they die", he uses it to justify murder. But when Law says it, he uses it to refuse Tashigi's request to kill her. "Murder isn't my style. I'm a doctor" (- Law in ch 918) - a principle he inherited from his parents and regained after Rosinante saved him and both his literal and metaphorical heart. In conclusion, Law saying that to Tashigi was a reflection of both the people who had the most influence on his minds and actions during the whole Dressrosa saga. The words may be the same as Doflamingo's but the heart of the message carry Rosinante's love - just like Law who acts aloof and grumpy on the outside but actually has a soft heart.
When it comes to Luffy hating "crybabies", i do believe he got those words to express his feelings from Ace. I'd also like to point out that all the characters Luffy told that too were younger than him (Koby, Shirahoshi, Momonosuke) so you could say he channeled Ace's big brother energy in those instances. But it is also important to point out that unlike Ace, who would scowl at Luffy when reprimanding him for being a "crybaby" or a "weakling" (note: this is not a dis on Ace, he was going through a lot and his bad attitude is understandable), Luffy has a big grin on his face (with Koby and Shirahoshi at least, i don't remember how exactly he was with Momo, i'd have to re-read, sorry) which indicates there's no real heat behind his words since we also know what it looks like when he actually hates someone (Luffy's expressions can be scary sometimes but it's also often times very deserved reaction).
There are plenty more instances of characters internalizing and repeating beliefs of others since inherited will is one of One Piece's main themes. Some examples off the top of my head:
Luffy's idea of what a pirate is came from Shanks
Nami's soft spot for children and love of tangerines inherited from Bell-Mère
Franky's "existence is not a crime" from Tom's speech about building ships/weapons
Iceburg revitalizing Water 7's economy by founding Galley-La like Tom did by building the sea train
Robin's love of history and her determination to preserve it from the scholars of Ohara
Shirahoshi refusing to hate humans to preserve Otohime's wish for the future
Chopper wanting to become the greatest doctor inspired by Hiriluk
Sanji refusing to kick women and fight with his hands to honor Zeff
Bonney believing in Nika like Kuma
Rebecca refusing to fight offensively to fulfill Scarlett's wishes of not staining her hands with blood
Yamato being inspired by Oden to seek his own freedom
Roger inspiring many to strive to become the Pirate King
and many more... i'd be here forever if i were to name all of them
Hope that satisfies your question and i'm again really sorry it took so long for me to answer

OC-tober Day 14: Who/what inspired your OC?
This is much more a writing prompt than a drawing prompt, so I'm simply going to go over each member of Team LLAC and explain my inspirations for each character!
Tumblr media
First and foremost, Team LLAC are all fankids of characters from RWBY, so a lot of the inspiration comes from that. Luna is the child of Blake and Yang, so she takes a lot of design and character elements from them - she looks like them, of course, but also shares their goal of becoming a huntress and counteracting the bad in the world with some good. Her personality differs pretty greatly from either, though. All of Team LLAC were also inspired by aspects of myself and Luna got my anxiety (of both the social and general kind). This part of her personality, alongside some aspects of her design, was also partially inspired by the moon symbolism I talked about in an earlier prompt.
Tumblr media
Lily is the daughter of Emerald and a lot of her personality, character, and design stems from that. When she was just an unnamed concept in my mind, I wasn't going to have her be a fankid like her teammates, but I recognised the potential in having her be related to a former antagonist from the show - especially because, at that point in time, Emerald hadn't begun her redemption arc yet. Funnily enough though, parts of her arc in Year 1 were also inspired by Blake - seeking redemption and liberation through becoming a huntsman and initially being more closed-off to her teammates, and Jaune - struggling to find her Semblance when many her age had already done so by then. My own desire to prove myself as a good person while also being adverse to socialising played a part there as well. Parts of her personality - namely her dry wit - and Year 2 design were also inspired by Mercury even though there's no direct relation between the two. Her Semblance was inspired by my general love for plant-based powers in other media. As a kid, I always loved the scene near the end of Sky High where Layla finally unleashes her powers on one of the antagonists and defeats them in a matter of seconds. Plants are cool.
Tumblr media
Astra is the daughter of Neon Katt, though I fully don't remember what inspired me to make that decision. I knew I didn't want the team to be comprised entirely of children of main characters, but why I specifically chose a character that had only spoken in a single episode at that point in time, only 2019 Blaire could tell you. Still, she provided plenty of inspiration for Astra, to the point where, on the surface, the two are strikingly similar in terms of design and personality. Astra also inherited my (and Neon's, as far as I'm concerned) ADHD. Both in-story and outside of it, she was also inspired by Nora in regard to her endless enthusiasm, reckless energy, primarily pink colour scheme, and even her hammer weapon. The archetype of 'character who is feminine, silly, and cheerful but also reckless and powerful' is one I am very fond of, so one of Team LLAC was bound to end up with it. I also happen to love that archetype even more when deeply buried identity issues are thrown into it. I love when the perpetually enthusiastic character secretly has crippling self-worth issues - see Korra LoK, Amethyst SU (or even Steven himself), Akko LWA, and, of course, Nora again. I couldn't not saddle Astra with that. My desire for RWBY to properly explore Yang's self-sacrificial tendencies also saw me giving similar habits to Astra, and it all came together perfectly.
Tumblr media
Cobalt is the son of Velvet, but also the adoptive son of the rest of Team CFVY, so I took inspiration from all four characters to build his basis. Design-wise, he mostly draws from Velvet, but his Year 2 outfit especially has at least one element from each of the others as well. Personality-wise, I took Velvet's kindness, Coco's cool-headedness, Fox's sense of humor, and Yatsuhashi's calm nature, and mashed them all together into Cobalt. In-universe, this is the way each of them have rubbed off on him. From me, he got his desire to people-please and his strong sense of justice, which clash just as much for him as they do for me. There's more of his character that actually takes inspiration from my hatred for a common trope in any given media, but I don't think I can get too much into it without hinting at spoilers for things to come ;)

Hi! I saw you did Riddler finding out he had a teenage daughter he never knew about and meeting her so can you do it with all the Scarecrow's too? I dunno the limit to how many charachters can be in a post so just take your time and thank you!
Hell ya Jon being a dad!
Scarecrows with a teenage daughter
Tw:death,fear toxin
Arkham
Tumblr media
A man already dealing with quite the past Jonathan crane was of the opinion nothing could surprise him at this point
Oh boy how wrong he was
williamina was the result of a relationship long since dead that he never considered becoming a variable in the future
Mina only being 16 was told repeatedly to avoid any possible contact with her father after the Halloween incident.
Just like her dear old dad,she was quite the rebellious one
Jonathan can’t exactly ignore the resemblance especially the look from the eyes
Turns out with mom mostly being rather on the negligent side Mina needed someone to be there with her during the big years of her life
Jonathan starts finding out he has some rather ingrained parenting instincts
His old teaching habits really come back to him!
Teaching such a young mind his years of well earned knowledge really invigorates his spirit
He certainly doesn’t intend to turn the little prodigy into a lab rat. He’s the master of fear but he’s not a heartless monster
He’s definitely one of those dad’s who sits down and has heart to hearts with his kids over something like tea.
“Come have seat a young one, tell me what clings to your soul.”
He more than anyone knows the kind of someone so young around someone like him needs to be checked on here and there.
She’s definitely going to inherit her father’s more theatrical side let’s be honest with ourselves here.
She’s getting taught every little bit of chemistry he knows, both out of a way to expand his child’s intelligence but also to keep her safe.
Mina helps him when his leg acts up. According to her it’s the least she can do for him
He greatly appreciates it though he’s not always vocal about it
Btas
Tumblr media
Very similar to Arkham Jon btas jon is a man who is surprised by such a thing
He was never a ladies man, his previous partners be dammed but that certainly won’t stop him from being apart of Jenna’s life
Especially when Jenna reaches out actually wanting to meet her old man
15 and yet very clingy of her old man, understandable seeing as she doesn’t exactly have a lot of people to turn to
Is definitely the kinda dad who enacts curfew because he’s so damm worried about where his daughter is
Overprotective as hell
“No jenna I don’t want you on the streets after 8! I may be the master of feet but I know Gotham.”
Helping this girl with her homework constantly.
Doesn’t exactly want her involved with his criminal work directly, last thing he wants her is going to Arkham
Kids don’t belong in a place like that
Edward and jervis easily become her “uncles” Incase something happens to her hold man
Jenna has giggle at one of his master of fear rants
He was grumpy for hours after it
BTAA
Tumblr media
Let’s be completely honest here, this man is the most likely to end up accidentally getting bun in the oven, risk is his territory.
The fact he’s even surprised when Lilith shows up to the office of one dr Jonathan crane is a joke in itself.
He doesn’t initially think she’s telling the truth.
Gets corrected almost immediately when he recognizes her mothers name and really takes a good look at the kid
A little apprehensive about even having a kid around.
His general customers are indeed kids around her age range
Lilith however for good or bad inherited daddy’s charisma and charm
He doesn’t immediately tell her about his……….culinary behaviors
Would probably never forgive himself if something happened to her
That doesn’t mean she doesn’t slowly put together whats going on
“You scare people……with drugs?” “I’m providing a service kiddo! Why I’m basically paying for your college education!”
Girl is gonna get spoiled with the amount of drug money he’s pulling in.
Miss autumn ATTEMPTS to help Jonathan navigate the turmoil that comes with one so young
Extremely “your parent is your best friend” relationship
Movie nights are a weekly tradition
Year one
Tumblr media
He certainly hasn’t had a lot if healthy relationships in his existence
It wasn’t long ago he went on that hunt to find his own father,Vera was just another who had too.
Genuinely a guilt ridden soul when he finds out.
He may not have known about her but that still doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel like a fool
It’s not out of obligation by blood he takes Vera in but more so because he understands what it’s like to be alone at such a young age .
Definitely a relationship based upon slowly warming up to one another
He’s definitely the over protective type always making sure she isn’t bullied
Lord forbid if they’re ever were they’d be dead within an hour of finding out
Absolutely fosters an adoration for reading

Howdy howdy y'all, I'm Magnum, and this'll be my first attempt at writing a g/t story in Tumblr, bare with me as I haven't done something like this before:
CW: The protagonist is not really the nicest person (I'll leave it at that), angst (both general and g/t), mentions of death, lots of cursing, talk about sex, self-loathing, I don't really know how to put everything else but basically someone who isn't fond of giants is forced to take care of a giant, take from that as you will.
A Costly Mistake or A New Chance At Redemption?
CH 1/???
Shit sucks, man.
That sentence ran around and around inside Hank's head, and it has been for a while now–a really long while. Life had held him in its painful vice grip for sixteen years now, and it showed no signs of improving whatsoever. Now, sure, Hank managed to live comfortably in a modest house he inherited from his deceased father—a shotgun house, to be specific—which landed him in a neighborhood for humans only. There was never the risk of a giant strolling in and just being a natural disaster just by walking.
That was good. He didn't ever want to deal with their kind.
Was it that Hank was literally the only member of his family still alive? Was it that he was basically a shut-in at the age of thirty-six? Was it that, despite the fact he was considered attractive by most and was a relatively healthy and tall man standing at 6'5", he wasn't in a relationship with anyone? Was it that he's a smoker who is trying to quit and has to resort to chewing on gum to quit his habit for good? Was it that, even at his age, he's never done or lived up to complete any goals throughout his life? Was it that he was an asshole through and through and was just vindictive and mean to most people?
The more he tried to find an answer to his problem, the more Hank began to feel tired. Here he was, in his living room lying down on his couch and not moving a single muscle, not doing or accomplishing anything while the world kept on spinning, and life went on. The television wasn't on. There was nothing going on around the house, and the state of it wasn't really bad, per se–there wasn't anything that needed cleaning since he, ignoring the type of person he was, chose to live a despicable life in a clean house rather than a dirty one.
His wavy black hair was a mess, bags were under his droopy eyes, he frankly looked pissed—which wasn't new for Hank—and he didn't even want to cook anything today.
So takeout for the fourth day in a row it was then!
Hank grabbed his phone that had been on the table in front of him and turned it on, unlocking it and tapping on the mystical food delivery app: Uber Eats. "Let's see..." The man grumbled as he scrolled to see what he would order today. Noodles from the Chinese food joint a few blocks away? Nope. A pizza pie from that Italian restaurant downtown? Already had that yesterday. Burgers and fries from that small-time burger joint around the corner two blocks away? Too basic. What about fried chicken? Now that didn't sound half bad.
Fried chicken sounded like a good meal to Hank right about now, and there were a few spots to order from. So, he might as well browse the options and see who he'd order from today. "Clucksters... Los Pollos Hermanos (woah a Breaking Bad reference no way)... Hail–" Hank froze mid sentence as he read the name of the third restaurant that served fried chicken.
That name. Her name.
Hailey Branham.
Memories from his high school graduate days flooded Hanks mind, and he found himself dropping his phone and stumbling off of the couch, "Where is that FUCKING gum!?" He mumbled to himself as frantically began to look around his house for his chewing gum. It was a quick search that had him finding it on a counter in the kitchen, and he quickly popped it open and tossed a piece of gum into his mouth before chewing on it.
Hailey Branham. That name brought a lot of memories he didn't want to remember, not like they were bad memories, just memories he'd rather move on from. It was a girl, shocker, who he was dating at the time, even more of a shocker. Even though he pushed those memories to the back of his mind, seeing her name made them come back in full detail, and he remembered them vividly like they were yesterday: their first date; their first kiss; their first argument; their first "breakup"; their first time ever having sex; their first double date; the last time they ever had sex; their actual breakup. Thinking about that last bit made Hank take out another piece of gum to chew on, throwing it into his mouth to do just that. "Fuck..." He cursed under his breath, the chewing he made was the only other sound in the house that he could hear. Any amount of appetite Hank had was lost as he lingered on the past further and further, "I'm such a damn disgrace!" That sentence came out as more of a scoff than anything, and that was what he saw himself as; a damn disgrace.
Without missing a beat, he turned around and stomped his way into his bathroom, not even bothering to close the door behind him as he propped himself in front of the mirror. His hands held onto edges the glass basin as he took a long hard glare at his reflection, "You sicken me, shithead, y'know that?! Look at what you've fucking become, you ain't worth an iota of the damn dirt that giants step on... you ain't nothing, you're no one, you pushed everyone who cared away 'cuz you're a scared little pussy!" This wasn't helping, not at all, but Hank couldn't bring himself to stop, "Your whole family is gone and you dumped the only woman in your life who loved you simply because you had no love for her left, what kind of bullshit is that!?" Why couldn't he stop? "Go on, say something, you punk ass coward! Say something–ANYTHING!!!" He yelled at his reflection, waiting just for it to say something, tell him what he wanted to hear it tell him–what he wanted to hear himself just admit it, admit to everything. The more he reflected on that, the more he felt every part of him boiling over.
"MotherFUCKER-" His right hand stopped holding onto the edge of the sink. He reared it back and balled it up into a fist before he punched the mirror in front of him. Cracks spread and splintered from where his punch landed. Shards began to fall onto the ground and shatter into smaller pieces of glass. Blood started to pour out of his fist as bits and pieces of glass ended up lodged in his knuckles and parts of his fingers. "..." He glared at his shattered reflection in the broken mirror for a moment longer before the sting from the broken glass in his hand began to register, "Ow..." The man mumbled as he turned the faucet on with his other hand by switching the lever. Water poured from the faucet, and he lowered his bleeding hand into the stream of lukewarm water, washing off the blood slowly.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
A knock at the door brought Hank to pulling his hand from beneath the faucet. Most of the blood still hadn't stopped flowing, so he tried to remedy that by taking a towel and wrapping it around his hand to absorb the blood, "Go away!" He shouted loud enough so whoever was outside his front door could do just that...
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!!!
This was starting to get on Hanks' nerves, "Fuck off!" He yelled again in a much more vulgar manner, hoping it would work this time.
. . . . .
Which it apparently did! Hank sighed, relieved that whoever it was took the hint and left him alone...
...Or so he thought.
"Hank Sheppard, we are with the G.H.F.A.C—Giants and Humans Financial Aid and Care—please, come on out nicely so we can talk, or we'll be forced to make our way into your home by force!" A man's voice called out from the other side of the door, and while he wanted to respond by insulting the guy who was bothering him, Hank didn't want to risk whoever these clowns were breaking down the door just to talk with him, so he quickly made his way towards the front door to unlock and open it. "Woah!" The sight before him caught Hank way off guard; two mini-giants, a man and a woman, stood in front of and towered over him. Both giants stood somewhere above twelve feet tall, with the woman seemingly being slightly taller than the man. They both looked different, obviously, with the man being around the same age as Hank with a stern expression on his otherwise youthful face and blonde hair kept in a slicked back hairstyle, his outfit consisted of modest navy blue business casual attire, while the woman, on the other hand, was younger, possibly in her late twenties, and had a much kinder expression on her generally soft face and with dark brown hair that was unkempt and medium length, her outfit, instead of looking professional, was much more casual as she donned a simple white button up shirt with gray trousers and flats.
All that Hank could do was gawk at the two mini-giants like an idiot until the guy snapped his massive fingers, "Hey, snap out of it!" Which he promptly did, "Fuck–sorry uhhh... why are you two here?" Hank asked them, his left eyebrow raising out of confusion as he wondered about what workers from an organic such as theirs wanted from him, "I know my partner said that we would talk if you came outside, which you did, thankfully, but you're gonna have to come with us to HQ so we can discuss an urgent matter that you're a part of..." That absolutely caught him off guard yet again; what DID the G.H.F.A.C want with him?
Taking a look down at himself, Hank felt like he was a bit underdressed to go take this visit to the G.H.F.A.C building, and it seemed as if the two giants in front of him thought the same as well, "Before we go any further, let us introduce ourselves: I am Connor McIntyre and this is my partner, Paige Butler–" "Hi!" "–like I mentioned earlier, we are here on official business in regards to you. Now, we'll give you three minutes to put something on that's the bare minimum appropriate; if you try to run away or escape through a window, we will catch you and drag you along with us to the company building in the state that you're in..." The woman–Paige, added onto what Connor said, "And if you're not out here by then, we'll force ourselves into your house and carry you out, are we clear?" She placed her hands on her hips as now both mini-giants looked down at Hank just waiting to see what he'd do in this situation.
Now, Hank wasn't a prideful man. He knew when shit couldn't go his way no matter what he tried to do. So, he simply complied, "Alright, fine!" Despite his willingness to cooperate, it was quite obvious it was a willingness that came from hesitation. Walking back into his house, the man let out a really dragged out sigh as he thought about one simple thing: what would really be appropriate for this occasion? The longer he thought about, the more he wasted his time that was given to him, so he simply said, "Fuck it." And went further into his home and into his room.
"Hmmm..." There was not a damn piece of clothing that looked appropriate to wear for something like this. All he could come up with in such allotted time was a stained white shirt and a teal diamond quilted bomber jacket with gray cargo pants and a pair of brown boots. It was something, at least, and if that wasn't the bare minimum by the two giants' standards, they'd better deal with it. Hank quickly walked down the hall and back to his front door, where he took a step outside and looked up at Connor and Paige, who stared back at him with mixed looks on their faces; Connor looked taken aback by how Hank was dressed, while Paige looked like she was holding back a laugh at the sight of his chosen outfit, "You really don't own any–" Paige was cut off quickly by Hank, who didn't want to deal with being questioned about his choice of clothing, "No, I don't, alright?" He scoffed at her, and he was met with a glare by the mini-giantess, who no longer felt like laughing or trying to stop herself from laughing at him since she simply couldn't fathom that she just got cut off by someone like him.
Just keep things professional, that was best for everyone involved, and it would have to be kept that way, regardless of what happened throughout this whole ordeal. "You ever been in a car for mini-giants or giants in general, Hank?" Connor asked Hank, knowing full well that the answer was quite obvious, "No." A quick and no-nonsense answer from the smaller man as he gazed at the giant with a very judgmental expression. Everything suddenly went upended when Paige suddenly bent down and grabbed Hank before standing back up straight as she now held him in her hand, "There's always a first time for everything, ain't there?" She asked him with a smug tone and look on her face, "Hey woah what the fuck–" His shock and surprise was cut off as the two mini-giants turned around and began to walk away from his house. By this point, there seemed to be a bunch of his neighbors and passersby that were watching this all transpire, and all Hank could do was stay there, suspended in the air and held by the giant, manicured hand of Paige, who began to hum a tune to herself as all three of them made their way to a massive black coupe model car that took up half of the street and was as big—if not bigger—than the houses in the neighborhood. Although the situation was all sorts of strange and shocking and terrifying, Hank really couldn't bring himself to do anything but just be wide-eyed as this whole experience was new to him.
Now sure, he's heard stories about how when giants—of any size/category—pick a human up, especially a human who's never really been picked up by a giant up until then, and how they said it was this whole perspective defying and that it brought all sorts of things that would hit you like a truck... but all Hank felt was embarrassed; he was literally being held like an action figure, and it sucked! He'd have to suck it up as they all got to the car, Paige made her way around the vehicle until she reached the drivers' side door. The door was casually opened, meaning they left it unlocked the whole time. It made sense why they did it, it wasn't like they ran the risk of having the car getting stolen for... obvious reasons.
The first thing that surprised Hank wasn't just how much bigger everything was, that was a give—he was still taken aback by that, regardless—it was that there was a chair, a human sized chair, fixed on a small platform in between the driver and passenger seat, "Everything will be fine friend, just make sure to buckle up and it'll be smooth sailing from here on out." Paige reassured Hank, who frowned at the placement of the chair he was supposed to be sitting in. Not much would come out of complaining, so he let himself get placed next to the chair, in which he then sat down on it and fastened the seatbe–where the hell is the seatbelt? His eyes looked around before falling on an indent at both sides of the chair, one of which had a slot with a shiny metal object poking out and the other had an empty slit. "Oh." It was the best he could really say as he just took his seat and did his best to buckle up. It took Hank some time, and it was clear that Connor and Paige were enjoying every second of it as he could practically feel their eyes staring at him from both sides, and it didn't help that Paige was snickering openly.
Finally, he managed to buckle himself up, and it took a moment of hearing the giantess behind him to stop snickering before she put the keys into the ignition and turning them, starting the car before she began to drive. She gave him no time to adjust to the new environment as she began to drive the giant car casually, "So would either of you mind telling me why I–" Connor cut him off as he way ahead of him, "Hailey Branham. That name ring any bells?"
For fuck's sakes! He thought to himself. Why were they bringing her up? What did she have to do with this?! Hank couldn't bring himself to respond in any other way besides a brief head nod, "She's dead." That sentence hit him, it hit him hard. It didn't even take long for it to register in his head before he brings his hands up to his face and covers his eyes. While it seemed as if he was about to cry, Hank literally couldn't bring himself to do so; sure, he felt sad—and extremely so—about this shocking revelation, but it's been sixteen whole years since they split up. "When did this happen?" He asked calmly, not showing any signs of tearing up or crying, "A week ago, Hank." That revelation just made things worse for him on so many levels... but why? Even though it saddened him deeply, he didn't feel like he could feel grief over her unfortunate death. After all, he pushed her away all those years ago, so did he truly deserve to feel sad over her passing? That made him think deep and hard, but the more he thought about it, the more he just mentally beat himself up for just how pathetic he was. He didn't know what to feel anymore, but he wouldn't have to dwell on it any longer as the car came to a halt, which lurched him forward, "We're here." Paige said, snapping Hank out of his gloomy funk as he looked straight ahead and saw quite a massive building. Both giants and humans stood outside, walking in and out the front rotating doors, socializing and enjoying themselves, regardless of the visible size differences they all shared. The tallest of giants that he saw outside the building stood thirty feet tall, and there he was, casually chatting up a storm with a human male who must've been an average five feet and nine inches tall. He continued to look at everything in front of him until he felt something gently tap his shoulder, "Come on, you can walk the rest of way to where you're needed, can you?" Connor asked him with a raised brow, getting a simple, "That's fine by me." As a response before he unbuckled his seatbelt. Of course, Hank didn't plan to climb down the interior of the car just to have to climb out of the car to get on the ground, and the mini-giants didn't expect him to as Paige picked him up once more to carry him out of the car, "Alright, Hank, it'll be a quick stroll inside, I assure you it'll be over before you know it." She said as she took a few steps forward, stepping over the curb before setting him down on the ground.
No more words were spoken between the two giants and Hank as they walked towards the building. Although Connor and Paige kept eyes looking straight ahead, Hank couldn't help but glance at all the humans and giants who intermingled so casually. They would all soon stop being what he focused on once he walked into the G.H.F.A.C building right behind Paige and Connor. The frigid indoor air hit him hard, and he was thankful he put on a jacket, even though it did a mediocre job at shielding him from the cold. "Hey Kathy, we're back!" Hank looked to his side, where the two giants had stopped in front of what was the buildings front desk as Paige spoke to someone sitting behind it, "Why hello Connor and Paige, did your little trip go well?" The voice of a much older woman could be heard from behind the desk, and although Hank was literally the same height as the desk, he couldn't make out what this Kathy looked like until, "It did, we have him right here and he caused no trouble whatsoever so that's a relief." Paige said that with a relieved tone—Paige said with a relieved tone, as if facing resistance was a common occurrence in this job—before Kathy leaned over the desk to look at Hank, and he could finally see who she was; an older woman, which was already obvious, in her mid to late fifties or possibly even in her early sixties, with noticeable wrinkles and a very round face, her hair wasn't completely gray as there was still subtle amounts of black hair on her head, she was around the same height as Connor and Paige, maybe a bit shorter than the both of them, and she wore a sky blue colored dress with white coat. "Hello there, young man. You must be Hank Sheppard!" Kathy extended a hand out towards Hank, expecting a handshake, which he hesitated to give her due to the size difference before just going through with it to get it over with. Her hand completely engulfed his as they shook hands, and it was a very strange sensation for him, but the same couldn't be said for her as she introduced herself, "I'm Kathy Reeves, and as you can see, I work the front desk for G.H.F.A.C–I can't wait to see more of you in the future!" She was energetic for her age, she had that spunk for an older woman. That was honestly surprising to Hank, who felt it necessary to respond, "Y-Yeah hi, same goes for me..." He told her as they both continued to shake hands for what felt like minutes to him but only went on for a few seconds as she pulled her hand away.
Kathy leaned back and sat back down, disappearing from Hank's view, "He'll be in room zero–seven, everything's already prepped so you can walk him in and it will all begin immediately." She told the pair, who nodded silently before swiveled their bodies to the left and began to walk off, and Hank quickly followed close behind. However, when they all three of them took their first few steps, Kathy called out, forcing them to stop in their tracks, "I'm sorry, Paige, but Connor will transport Hank to the room, you're still needed to attend you know who." Both Hank and Connor noticed her wink conspicuously at Paige, and all Paige did in response was sigh in defeat, "Aww man, well alright." The giantess looked down at Hank and flashed a small smile, "Guess this is where we go separate ways for now, but don't worry, we'll be seeing more of each other in the future." Paige playfully stuck her tongue out at him and winked, letting out a snicker before she turned completely around and walked off to deal with whatever or whoever she had business with. "See ya, Connor." She called out as she walked around the corner, "Catch you later, Paige." He responded before he looked down at the man of the hour, "Come on then, the room is just down the hall." Both men went back to walking, Hank having to put in extra effort just to keep up with Connor, but it wasn't detrimental as they both arrived at the door to room zero–seven, "Everything will be explained to you inside," Connor opened the door as he spoke, the crack becoming wider and wider as the metal door was pushed open. Hank was about to walk inside before Connor spoke once more, "And Hank? Don't be, y'know, you, please?" It came off as slight pleading for him to not be a dick, "No promises, man." He annoyedly scoffed as he walked through the crack of the open door, and as he entered the room, he could've sworn to have heard him call him something before closing the door behind him.
Whatever, not like now was the time to dwell on something like that since now was the moment he had been waiting for with bated breath, "Mr. Sheppard, welcome to the G.H.F.A.C headquarters, please, have a seat and we will begin in just a moment." The voice came from an unassuming man that was sat down in the middle of the room on the end of a wooden table. The whole room itself looked just as unassuming; taking on the appearance of a basic office meeting room, only without any windows. Quite frankly, it looked more like an interrogation room, if anything. The man, a British man, from the sound of his accent, had his fingers intertwined and his hands on the surface of the wooden table. Right next to him—or more like at both corners in the farthest side of the room—stood two giants, not mini giants, full-blown giants. Both of them were the exact same height, fifty–four feet tall, a man and a woman. And both of them were very well-built, their muscles were visible under the uniforms they wore, which consisted of a similar getup to what Paige wore, only with an added protective and quite possibly bulletproof vest and an earpiece in one ear. They both stared at Hank with an unwavering gaze, which uneased him since he knew that all it would take is one of them to use their pinky finger to restrain him. This seemed a bit like overkill, and the man who sat at the table seemingly read his mind, "Don't worry about them, they both serve as part of our security to ensure our unruly clients don't get heated and/or physical, I'm sure you understand?" The man asked Hank, who gave momentary glances at the otherwise statue–like giants whose eyes were the only parts of their bodies to move as they followed him with each movement he made, "Yeah, sure." Hank responded as he made his way to the chair that was set for him and taking a seat in it, "I've brought you some gum since I've found out about your current attempt at quitting smoking by chewing gum, want some?" That question confused Hank, and he didn't know how to react to an organization knowing about him trying to quit the habit as he watched man sitting across from him take out a pack of sour apple flavored chewing gum and set it down on the table, "How did you–y'know what, forget it, I'll take some." He reached over and went to grab it, and for a brief moment, just a brief moment, he saw one of the fingers on the male giant twitch in the corner of his eye, "Thanks..." He seemingly thanked the man, but was really thanking the giant for not straight up pinning him to the ground with his trigger happy finger. He, of course, got no response from the mountain of man who simply continued to stare at him alongside his female coworker.
Stress wasn't something he was really feeling at the moment, but he kept it in hand just in case; he felt like he was going to be chewing a lot of gum by the time this was over. "Before we get started, my name is William Davenport, but you can call me Bill since that's what my coworkers call, isn't that right fellas?" Bill asked the two giants behind him, who actually spoke in response, "Of course, Billy!" The giantess responded, "You got that right, Bill!" The giant responded right after, "See, I told you!" He told Hank as if he hadn't believed him even though he really didn't even ask, "Whatever you say, Bill. Can we just talk about why I'm here?" The more time he spent in this building, and in this room in particular, the more he wanted to be back home, resting on his couch and doing jack shit. "Oooohh you're eager, I like that! You and I will be great friends, I can already tell!" Bill said with a wide smile before he leaned to his left and bent down to grab something before going back to sitting straight and placing a blue folder on the table. He opened it and brought it up to his face to read it, "Hank Sheppard, aged thirty–six and currently lives alone at the address of 473 Fleetwood Drive in the human–only neighborhood of Fleetwood, you are the only one in your family still alive and you show signs of depression, self–loathing, short temperance, and other such mental–" He was cut off as soon as he heard Hank start chewing on gum, "–moving on..." Bill mumbled, "Thanks..." Hank was grateful that he knew how to take a hint; he knew he was a fucked up individual, he just didn't want to hear it from anyone else. "A year after graduating from high school, you got into a relationship with one–" Bill got cut off as Hank practically told the rest of that whole story, "Hailey Branham, a Native American girl who was nice and cute, and who thought the same way of me, as well. We dated for ten months before I broke up with her due to differences between us that became too apparent." He lied about that last part and he knew damn well that he did, he just didn't care, and Bill knew that, and yet, he didn't care either, "Right before you two broke up, Hailey found out she was pregnant and she was due to give birth to her giant daughter six months after your breakup," Hank stopped chewing, he just stopped everything as he tried frantically to process the words that came out of Bill's mouth. Pregnant? Child? Giant? Daughter? "Hailey raised that child on her own for sixteen years and she loved her with every ounce of her being. Her daughter—and your daughter as well—has grown up to be a nice girl with loads of friends, good grades, a compassionate heart and–" In the midst of his sentence, Hank cut him off suddenly, "Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait shut up shut up shut the fu–wait a damn minute!" This was all going too fast for him, and he didn't like it, not one bit. So much new information was sprung onto him and he was supposed to just take it? There were so many questions he had barreling through his head, and he had no idea where to start, "I know this is a lot to take in, and I'm willing to answer any questions you might have, but–" Hank cut Bill off once more to bring something up that completely invalidated all he said, "Hailey isn't a giant, she was a normal human woman." Bill didn't seem to have anything to say, and instead, chose to listen to what Hank had to say, "She was not a damn giant–sure she was tall for a woman, she was six–foot–two for Christ sakes, but she was not a fucking giant!"
As it turns out, I've hit the limit, so this'll be continued in part two, so keep an eye out for that!

Nuzi Hellspawns (this took may more time and effort than I wanted it too sobs)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
More info on the twins, Scrapped child outfit for Orita & the AO3 comment(er) who gave me the name ideas (bc I'm bad at names lol) under the cut 💕
Orita:
N calls her his "sweet Violet" due to the color of her optics being a light purple
Personality wise she mostly takes after N, however she did inherited Uzis unhingedness so she has her moments
She got Uzi's skill in robotics, engineering and hacking
Her and Uzi help each other with their projects once Orita is old enough to help Uzi (Uzi always helped her daughter when asked ofc)
Once the twins switch to their Teen/Adult bodies, she starts to basically upgrade herself by custom making DD forearms so she looks more like N too
The above point worries N a little because she actually gave herself weapons in them -- N always refused to have her look at his weaponry, having a strict "no weapons around the kids unless it's absolutely necessary" rule.
Because of the above rule, Orita went to V instead because V doesn't mind her looking at her weapons. She thinks it's cool that she's interested in them
Her childhood body used to be Uzi's when she was a kid (same with her Pill Baby body lol)
She placed a sticker of the DD logo on her cores cover as a child to kind of honor her Dad, she loves him dearly <3
N did her hairstyle :3
She probably picked up the phrase "Biscuit" from her dad
Scrapped outfit:
Tumblr media
Rexim
He takes more after Uzi with his personality so he's more angsty
He continues the catch phrase "Bite Me" from his mother and Grandmother
He inherited Ns love for animals & cute things and one might catch his angsty persona slip when it comes to that
He has a bad habit of picking fights or getting involved in them
This resulted in his main camera being severely damaged in one confrontation, resulting in him primarily using the Headband optics as camera
Said headband was made Uzi (both of the twins headbands were) because the twins code included Ns "real eyes" / headband optics, which resulted in them having issues with their sense of orientation and depth perception without said optics. They aren't nearly as advanced as their dads when it comes to features and accuracy, but they get the job done
He kinda goes through a "my dad is boring" phase at one point, but that's swiftly put to an end when he actually sees N in action
He had severe problems balancing using WD legs, seemingly not having enough footing to do so. So Uzi made him custom ones based on Ns lower legs so that their son has more surface to stand on and distruste his weight on
The WD symbol on his cores covering ends up scratched up and with chipped paint as he gets older, due to him getting into fights a lot
Both Twins
Both kids inherited the downsides that come with being a DD/Solver user - meaning they can't go out in the sun, have issues overheating and do need to feed on oil (these issues don't start until they are transferred to their first functional bodies. As babies they're fine)
This probably means Uzi went out of her way to improve their internal cooling system a bit
Other
Seeing as Oritas childhood body is that of Uzi, I am debating on if I make Thad child-free and he offered them his for Rexim
This idea comes from me hc N and Thad as having a brotherly bond & feeling like the CoolKids Trio would still be very close later on. Thad is practically the twins uncle :) (he spoils them lol)
Thank you to this AO3 user for the name ideas <3
Tumblr media
When I looked up the two guns in question I found out Orita also is a brand for stuff like dish soap and laundry detergent & Rexim is also a candy brand lmao

I'm thinking about how every Howlett's 'auxiliary' mutation is so telling of their personality. I'm not talking about claw formation, that's a different thing I haven't thought about. I'm not talking about the hot claws, either, because those are powers Logan acquired, he wasn't born with them - and the adamantium isn't a mutation.
So I'm only going to talk about the 616 relations, since I know those ones best, but I love when you guys chime in with your own headcanons so add in other kids in the replies ❤️
When it comes to Canon Snikts, we have John Jr, Logan's older brother (maybe half brother, unconfirmed); Logan himself; Akihiro, Logan's son; Laura, Logan's daughter; and Gabby, Logan's daughter who is also his daughter's clone. (There's also the rest of Gabby's sisters, but we don't have a lot of Intel on them.)
John Jr. was technically killed before Logan/James ever got to meet him in 616, but going by his multiverse adult appearance, he had the claws, the healing factor, and the power to turn both intangible and invisible. This fits his story really well, because whether it's the multiverse story where he was shipped off to an asylum and essentially forgotten, or the canon story where he died before his little brother knew him, John gets erased. He's completely forgotten. He disappears.
Logan has two powers he was born with, aside from his claws and factor. He has the famous berserker rage, and the lesser known connection with animals. When Logan rages, he doesn't lose his strategic thinking - he just loses his inhibitions, going after anything that moves with 100% intensity, ignoring pain, and becoming a killing machine. Everyone knows that one. The one some people forget is how he can connect with animals on an empathic level - he can understand and get them to understand his emotions and basic wants and intentions. It's partly how he was able to live with so many wolf packs over the years. And this dichotomy makes me think of this quote I read once, when I read a psychologist breaking down Logan and PTSD - I don't remember the exact wording, but they were talking about how the anger was the trauma, and the kindness was the person under it. And I think that's a really good way of thinking of it. James wasn't a fighter. He was a sweet, almost shy little boy who liked art and playing with his friends and his dad. The first time we see him rage is when his father is killed and Thomas and Dog are trying to take Elizabeth and Rose away - aka the first major trauma he experiences. Logan's berserker/empathy is a great show of the dichotomy that is his personality; you've got the jaded, cynical, aggressive soldier who charges head first into every fight, but you also have the warm-hearted conscious of the team who fusses over all the kids, comforts his friends through their trauma, and once felt bad about fighting a bear that was trying to kill him because he knew the bear had been conditioned to hate humans. Logan is both of those things, so he has both of those powers.
Then we have his kids. Daken/Akihiro spent a good chunk of his life without any genuine love, used and abused by Romulus to make him a weapon to use against Logan. Any approval or affection was as false as it was fleeting, and he became a ruthless manipulator - especially during his time in Madripoor. Daken's 'extra' power is manipulating other peoples' emotions through pheromones. This is also interesting, because learning to predict and work around other people's emotions is a common habit in abuse victims.
Then there's Laura. The next Wolverine and the only other one to have truly gone through the Weapon X program - she inherited his trauma, and so she inherited the berserker rage. Laura is his legacy and his mini me. She's on the same path Logan went on long before her, learning how to be a person instead of just a weapon.
And her clone - the youngest of the three - Gabby. The one who feels like she isn't a real Wolverine. She's the only one of her siblings who hadn't killed anyone (at least in the first issue(s) with her in it), even though she's great in a fight; her sisters sheltered her from it. She's the one of all of them who smiles most, who seems to enjoy life - she's the emotional glue that holds the family together and lifts their spirits. She makes them happy. While they haven't confirmed anything, I think her relationship with Jonathan hints that she got Logan's animal affinity. Laura inherited his rage, Gabby inherited his kindness.
Anyway I love the snikt family if you can't tell

I'd love to know more about the relationship between Death and your version of Life if you ever feel like it! Like, who made the first move? How are they as parents? And of course anything else you wanna share. Once again, all your art is absolutely lovely.
Considering their first introductions, Life definitely won't be taking the first steps x)) There… it's gonna be bad. Not apocalyptic of course, but… ahem. About potatoes, there are actually quite a few ideas on how to show them themselves and their relationship with their parents. They are unlikely to be full-fledged characters (they have nicknames, but no names as such), more on the level of Shrek's children, only here they are puppies. And hence the source of various fun and problems. Less gags with She-wolf, because she's a pretty strict mother. She can forgive her kids a lot, but that doesn't mean she won't growl at them, bite them and shove them x)
Tumblr media
At the first time will still work on the maternal instinct to the fullest, so one white-haired wolf will definitely get many bites x)
Tumblr media
I guess it wouldn't be a surprise that Wolf would be excited about the kids. There are more ideas with Wolf, but I think you can see from the sketches that he will be gentle with children. The puppies will remind Wolf of his own childhood, but at the same time he will sometimes think about who will inherit what traits from him or from she-wolf. After all, each puppy has its own character and habits, and therefore the approach to them is different.
Thanks for the questions and support! If I don't say something in detail, it's more in hopes of showing it through drawings. But either way, I always glad to theories :3

Knb Alex hcs
She was a guard-forwarded
I like to think she was 6’1
In high school she played soccer, volleyball and basketball but ultimately chose basketball over the others
Afro Brazilian-American
Speaks English, Portuguese, Japanese, and Spanish
Loves cooking and tries to teach any of her students how to cook
Practices Capoeira
saw a little bit of herself in Nash and kind of blames herself for the path that he ended up going down
She was ultimately one of the top picks in her draft class
She was the hot topic and constantly talked about until the got sick even when she got better the noise wasn’t as loud
Played for team USA until she retired
A huge sneaker head
She has a really bad habit of saying whatever comes to her mind something kagami inherited 😭
Played international ball for a bit after she left the wnba
Nash ends up contacting her after last/extra game
She has an older brother
None of that weird kissing shit or like Fan service she has I think she’s still a very affectionate person and she conveys that through touch so she just likes hugging people, but she will respect boundaries
She’s bi
Doesn’t know if she even wants a relationship at all or if she’s just afraid of commitment or being tied down
she’s not a big fan of the current coaching style in America
After she started to recover from her illness, she found that her shot accuracy had gone down, but after a while and a lot of work, she ended up discovering that her accuracy is a lot better than it once was
Doesn’t want what happened to her to happen to her students
Sees the real value in fundamentals and team work and will make even the best of her students practice it constantly
Constantly active if she’s not doing one thing she’s doing another
Will find if there’s a basketball court in the area wherever she is and just try to go play
