the night was unusually quiet, as if the universe itself had decided to hush the world into stillness. the faint hum of the city outside was softened by the gentle patter of rain against the windows, a rhythmic lullaby that often lulled you into dreams. but tonight, it couldn't. not when your mind was restless, tangled in thoughts you couldn’t untie. you hadn’t meant to disturb the peace of the bed—the warmth of your boyfriend beside you was usually enough to keep the darkness at bay. but something unspoken gnawed at you, an ache too familiar to ignore.
it was nearing 3am when he stirred, his hand instinctively reaching out to the space where you should’ve been. the emptiness startled him awake, his fingers brushing cold sheets instead of your warmth. blinking against the dim light filtering through the curtains, his heart sank when he realized you weren’t there.
the room was bathed in silver moonlight, spilling through the half-open curtains in soft, uneven waves, illuminating the chaos of their shared space. the indent of your body remained on the mattress, a shallow impression in the memory foam, stark and still. jisung’s fingers brushed the cooling fabric, the texture of the duvet suddenly foreign against his fingertips. it was as your absence had stripped the bed of its familiarity, leaving only muted reminders of you—your scent lingering faintly in the air, a whiff of your favorite vanilla and cinnamon moisturiser.
he pushed himself upright, the sheets slipping away from his chest like water pooling to his waist. the air felt sharper without you, slicing through the warmth he’d carried in his sleep. his eyes, still heavy-lidded and bleary, scanned the room, seeking you out instinctively. shadows gathered in the corners, their jagged edges softened by the moonlight. your absence grew louder with every passing second, an ache that started in his chest and crept into the pit of his stomach.
jisung swung his legs over the edge of the bed, his feet meeting the chilled floor. the hardwood creaked beneath him, a sound that might have woken you, coaxing a sleepy protest from you lips. now, it only echoed in the stillness, a reminder of how empty the space felt without you. his hands rubbed his face, chasing away the remnants of sleep as he called you softly, the syllables barely escaping his throat.
then he saw it; a faint glow seeping through the crack of the balcony door.
there you were, silhouetted against the quiet rain. the soft drizzle had dampened the balcony floor, leaving trails of silver glistening in the faint light. you were wrapped in one of his hoodies, the hem brushing against your thighs, your arms crossed tightly over your chest as if shielding yourself from a chill that wasn’t entirely physical.
he walked away from the messy bed silently, the cool floor against his feet grounding him as he padded toward the door. he hesitated for a moment, watching you from behind the glass. the way your shoulders rose and fell, your head tilted slightly as if lost in thought, made his heart ache. he knew—he always knew when something weighed on you. and tonight, it seemed heavier than usual.
sliding the door open, he stepped out. the cool night air greeted him, carrying the faint scent of rain and earth. “couldn’t sleep?” his voice was soft, almost a whisper, as if speaking too loudly would shatter the fragile quiet around you.
you startled slightly, your head turning to see him. his eyes, dark with sleep but laced with concern, met yours. “i didn’t mean to wake you,” you murmured, your voice as fragile as the raindrops clinging to the railing.
“you didn’t,” he assured, stepping closer until he was beside you. he didn’t touch you right away, knowing better than to invade your space without invitation. instead, he leaned against the railing, his gaze following yours into the rain-drenched cityscape. “what’s on your mind?”
you hesitated. the words felt too heavy, too tangled. “i don’t know,” you admitted, though you both knew it wasn’t entirely true.
jisung’s lips curved into a faint, understanding smile. “you’re a bad liar, baby,” he said gently, his tone devoid of accusation.
you exhaled a shaky laugh, the sound barely audible. “it’s stupid,” you began, but he shook his head before you could finish.
“if it’s keeping you up at this hour, i wouldn't think it is,” he countered, his voice steady, grounding.
you shifted your weight, fingers brushing against the cool metal of the railing. “sometimes it feels like… like i’m still stuck. like no matter how far i’ve come, there’s still this part of me that's just..” your voice broke, frustration mingling with vulnerability.
jisung’s eyes softened, his heart aching at the raw honesty in your words. he took a step closer, careful and deliberate, his presence warm and steady. “hey,” he murmured, his voice low, soothing. “look at me.”
you turned to him reluctantly, your eyes glistening not with rain but with unshed tears. he reached out slowly, giving you every opportunity to move away, but you didn’t. his fingers brushed against yours, tentative, before he took your hand in his. “you’re not stuck,” he said, his voice firm but tender. “you’re healing. and healing isn’t a straight line. it’s messy and hard, but it’s still progress. you’re still moving forward.”
a tear slipped down your cheek, and jisung caught it with the pad of his thumb, his touch featherlight. “you’ve come so far,” he continued, his gaze unwavering. “and even on the days when it feels like you haven’t, i’ll be right here, reminding you that you have.”
his words unraveled something in you, the knot of tension loosening as you leaned into him. he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close, his hoodie enveloping you both. the steady beat of his heart beneath your ear was a comfort, a rhythm you could anchor yourself to.
“i’m sorry,” you whispered, your voice muffled against his chest.
he pulled back just enough to look at you, his expression a mix of exasperation and affection. “don’t apologize,” he said firmly. “not for this. not for feeling. not for anything actually.”
the rain continued its quiet symphony around you, the city a blurred canvas of lights and shadows. the world felt distant, inconsequential, as you stood there wrapped in jisung’s arms. his presence was steady, grounding, as if he were your anchor in a storm.
“i don’t know what i did to deserve you,” you said softly, your fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt.
jisung laughed quietly, the sound warm and soothing. “you existed,” he said simply, his lips brushing against the crown of your head.
for a while, neither of you spoke. the silence wasn’t heavy, but comforting, a shared understanding that words weren’t always necessary. the rain eased into a gentle drizzle, the air cool and crisp, carrying with it the faintest hint of dawn.
eventually, jisung broke the silence. “come back to bed?” he asked, his voice soft, coaxing. “it feels empty and cold without you.”
you nodded, smiling slightly, letting him guide you back inside. the warmth of the bedroom was a stark contrast to the cool night, and as you slipped beneath the covers, jisung’s arms found your waist again, holding you close.
“we’ll figure it out together,” he murmured against your hair, his voice heavy with sleep but resolute. “always.”
and with him beside you, the world felt a little less heavy, the darkness a little less daunting. you closed your eyes, letting the sound of his breathing and the faint patter of rain lull you into a peace you hadn’t thought possible. for the first time that night, you felt like you could breathe.
Tumblr media
the soft warmth of morning light filtered through the curtains, painting the room in hues of gold and amber. the rain had stopped, leaving the world outside damp and glistening, like a secret freshly unwrapped. you stirred, cocooned in the familiar scent of jisung’s cologne and the lingering traces of sleep. his arms were draped around you, one hand resting against the small of your back, the other tangled in your hair. his steady breaths tickled your neck, a gentle reminder of his presence.
for a moment, you didn’t move, savoring the rare quiet of the morning. the weight of his arm, the warmth of his body pressed against yours, felt like home. slowly, you turned your head to look at him. his face was relaxed in sleep, his lips slightly parted, his lashes casting faint shadows on his cheeks. the sight made your heart swell, a quiet ache of love and gratitude.
as if sensing your gaze, jisung stirred, his hold tightening briefly before his eyes fluttered open. his brown eyes met yours, soft and drowsy, and a slow, lazy smile spread across his face. “good morning,” he murmured, his voice rough with sleep but filled with warmth.
“good morning,” you replied, your voice just as soft. you reached up to brush a strand of hair from his forehead, your fingers lingering against his skin.
he closed his eyes at your touch, leaning into it like a cat seeking affection. “how are you feeling?” he asked, his eyes opening again to search yours.
“better,” you admitted, your lips curving into a small smile. “thanks to you.”
jisung’s smile widened, his dimples appearing. “good,” he said simply, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. “that’s all i want.”
you shifted closer, burying your face in the crook of his neck. his skin was warm, and the faint scent of him—a mix of his cologne and something inherently jisung—wrapped around you like a blanket. “i don’t ever want to leave this spot,” you mumbled against his skin.
he chuckled, the sound vibrating through his chest. “then don’t,” he said, his hand running soothingly up and down your back. “stay here. with me. forever.”
you pulled back just enough to look at him, your eyes meeting his. “forever?” you teased, a playful smile tugging at your lips.
he grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief and sincerity. “forever and then some.”
the two of you stayed like that, wrapped in each other’s warmth, exchanging soft words and lazy smiles. the world outside could wait. in this moment, there was only the two of you, tangled in love and the quiet magic of a new day.

Note
please i need a least angstier version of happier maybe reader has to go to a mision like s7 aaron in pakistan a he sees how much he really misses her
What we left behind | Aaron Hotchner x fem!reader
note: I tried my best, I hope you like it!
english isn't my first language so please be kind
cw: BAU reader, beth is in here, angst, regret, past relationship struggles, unspoken feelings
wc: 1.5k maybe?
It wasn’t like you hated Beth.
She was kind, warm, and approachable—the kind of woman people gravitated toward without hesitation. She seemed good for Aaron, too. For all his years of shielding himself, she brought out something softer in him. When you saw them together, he smiled more. He laughed in a way that had felt rare, almost forgotten.
But watching them together hurt in a way you hadn’t anticipated. It wasn’t jealousy exactly. It was grief.
Grief for what you and Aaron had been, for what you thought you might have been.
He was the one who ended it, after all.
You remembered the night so clearly it still stung, like a bruise you kept accidentally pressing. He’d invited you over, his voice softer than usual on the phone. At first, you thought nothing of it. But when you arrived, the heaviness in the air made your stomach twist.
Aaron wasn’t one to stumble over his words, but that night he did. “You mean the world to me,” he’d said, his voice breaking slightly. “But I can’t give you the life you deserve.”
You’d stared at him, stunned. “What are you talking about? We’re fine.”
“No, we’re not,” he said quietly, looking at you like it physically pained him. “You deserve someone who can be there for you, who isn’t constantly distracted by the job, who can give you all the things I can’t. And I... I can’t keep holding you back.”
His words shattered something in you. “I didn’t ask for perfect, Aaron. I asked for you.”
He closed his eyes, his jaw tight, and shook his head. “You’ll see, one day, that this is what’s best.”
You didn’t fight him after that. You couldn’t. And maybe some part of you even believed he was right. But that didn’t make it hurt any less.
--
For months, you carried that pain with you like a shadow. You buried yourself in work, throwing yourself into cases until you were so exhausted you couldn’t think about anything else.
It helped, a little.
But then Beth showed up.
The team was supportive of Aaron’s new relationship, of course. They were profilers—they could see how happy Beth made him, and they teased him lightly about it. Even Rossi, who had a knack for keeping things professional, cracked a joke now and then about Aaron’s “smiling problem.”
You played along, smiling and laughing at the right moments, even as it chipped away at you.
“You okay?” Emily asked one day, catching you lingering at the coffee machine longer than usual.
“Yeah, fine” you replied quickly, avoiding her eyes.
Emily didn’t press, but the look she gave you made it clear she didn’t buy it.
---
When the opportunity to work with the State Department in Pakistan came up, you jumped at it. The mission would take you halfway across the world for months, giving you the distance you desperately needed from Aaron, Beth, and the suffocating reminders of what you’d lost.
“It’s a great opportunity” you told the team, forcing a smile as you shared the news during a team meeting.
Morgan gave you a skeptical look. “You sure about this, kid? Seems... sudden.”
“I’m sure,” you said firmly.
Rossi, always perceptive, gave you a knowing look but said nothing.
Aaron, however, was harder to read. He’d been quiet during the meeting, his dark eyes flicking to you now and then, but he didn’t say a word.
Later, as the team dispersed, he stopped you outside the conference room.
“You’re really going?” he asked, his tone carefully neutral.
“I am,” you replied, meeting his gaze.
He hesitated, as if searching for the right words. “You didn’t mention you were thinking about this.”
“I didn’t think it mattered,” you said, your voice sharper than you intended.
Aaron flinched slightly, his jaw tightening. “Of course it matters.”
You sighed, softening your tone. “Look, this is a good opportunity for me. I need... a change.”
His eyes lingered on you for a moment longer before he nodded. “Be careful,” he said quietly.
---
Pakistan was everything you expected and more. The work was intense, the days long, and the challenges endless. But it was exactly what you needed. The distance, the change in pace, the focus on something new—it all helped you start to piece yourself back together.
And yet, there were nights when the loneliness crept in, catching you off guard. You missed the team. You missed Garcia’s bright enthusiasm, Morgan’s playful teasing, JJ’s steady calm.
You missed Aaron.
You told yourself you didn’t have the right to miss him, not after everything. But you couldn’t help it. You missed the way he grounded you, the quiet strength he carried even in the hardest moments.
---
Back in Quantico, Aaron found himself drifting. The bullpen felt emptier without you, and he hated how often he caught himself looking at your desk, expecting to see you there.
He tried to focus on work, on Jack, on his relationship with Beth. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t shake the nagging emptiness you’d left behind.
Beth noticed, of course. She was too perceptive not to.
“You’ve been quiet lately,” she said one evening as they sat on the couch, a glass of wine in her hand.
“I’ve just been busy,” he replied, though they both knew it wasn’t the whole truth.
Beth studied him for a moment before setting her glass down. “It’s because she’s gone, isn’t it?”
He froze, his heart skipping a beat.
Beth sighed, setting her wine glass down. “I’ve always felt like I was competing with someone who wasn’t even here.”
“I’m sorry,” Aaron said quietly, his throat tightening.
“I know you care about me, Aaron,” Beth said gently. “But it’s not enough, is it?”
He looked at her, guilt and regret twisting in his chest. “You deserve better than this. Better than me.”
Beth nodded, her eyes sad but understanding. “And so does she.”
---
When you returned to Quantico, the familiarity was both comforting and suffocating. The bullpen buzzed with the usual energy—Garcia’s colorful office lights glowed from the corner, Morgan leaned casually against Spence's desk, and Rossi greeted you with his characteristic warmth. But despite the smiles and hugs, there was a lingering sense of unease.
You tried to shake it off. You were home now, and that was what mattered.
But then you saw Aaron.
He stood at the far end of the bullpen, just outside his office, his dark eyes locked on you. The usual stoicism in his expression faltered as you met his gaze, something softer, almost hesitant, bleeding through.
Your breath caught in your chest. It had been months since you last saw him, and yet it felt like no time had passed at all. He looked the same—polished suit, perfect posture, the slight furrow of his brow that you’d memorized years ago.
He started walking toward you, his steps slow and deliberate. You tried to prepare yourself for the moment, but when he finally stopped in front of you, the carefully constructed walls around your heart wavered.
“Welcome back,” he said softly, his voice carrying a gravity that made your pulse race.
“Thanks,” you replied, forcing a small smile, though your throat felt tight.
There was a beat of silence. The bullpen buzzed with life around you, but all you could focus on was him—the way his eyes lingered on your face, the way he seemed like he wanted to say something but couldn’t quite find the words.
“Can we talk?” he asked finally, his voice low enough that no one else could hear.
You hesitated. Part of you wanted to say no, to protect yourself from whatever this conversation might bring. But the way he looked at you—vulnerable and intent—made it impossible to refuse.
“Yeah,” you said quietly.
He led you to his office, holding the door open for you before closing it behind him. The sound of the latch clicking seemed to echo, amplifying the tension in the room.
You stood awkwardly near the desk while he lingered by the door, as if trying to keep some distance between you.
“How was it?” he asked, gesturing vaguely. “Pakistan, I mean.”
“It was... intense” you admitted. “Challenging, but good. It gave me a lot to think about.”
He nodded, his jaw tightening as he seemed to weigh his next words. “I’m glad you’re back.”
“Thanks” you said again, the word feeling hollow on your tongue. You couldn’t take the tension anymore. “Aaron, what did you want to talk about?”
His shoulders rose and fell with a deep breath, and when he finally looked at you, his eyes were heavy with regret.
“I owe you an apology” he said, his voice low and rough.
You blinked, startled. “An apology? For what?”
“For walking away” he said, stepping closer. His gaze held yours, steady but full of something you couldn’t quite name. “I thought I was doing the right thing. I thought letting you go would... would give you the chance to find someone better, someone who could give you what I couldn’t.”
Your heart clenched painfully at his words, but before you could respond, he continued.
“But I was wrong” he said, his voice breaking slightly. “I thought I was protecting you, but all I did was hurt both of us. And every day you were gone, I felt it—I felt how wrong I was.”
You stared at him, your mind racing. “Aaron, I—”
“I missed you” he interrupted, taking another step closer. “Every day you were gone, I missed you. And I realized that I’d rather spend my life trying to be enough for you than spend another day without you.”
Tears blurred your vision, but you blinked them away, trying to process his words.
“You ended it” you whispered, your voice trembling. “You told me I deserved better.”
“I thought I was doing the selfless thing,” he admitted, his expression pained. “But all I did was rob us of the chance to fight for what we had. And I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.”
The rawness in his voice cracked something open inside you.
“Aaron, I...” You trailed off, shaking your head as you tried to gather your thoughts. “I don’t even know what to say.”
He stepped closer again, closing the remaining distance between you. “You don’t have to say anything. Just... tell me if there’s still a chance. If there’s even a small part of you that still feels the same way.”
His vulnerability was overwhelming. This was Aaron Hotchner—the man who never wavered, never let his guard down. And yet here he was, standing before you, baring his heart.
“I missed you too” you admitted finally, your voice breaking. “But I don’t know if I can do this again. I don’t know if I can survive losing you a second time.”
“You won’t” he said firmly, his hand twitching at his side like he wanted to reach for you but didn’t dare. “I know I don’t deserve it, but I swear to you, I won’t let you down again. I’ll fight for this—for us. Every day, if I have to.”
The sincerity in his voice, the way his dark eyes held yours, left you breathless.
And in that moment, you realized something: you still loved him. You always had.
Slowly, you reached for his hand, intertwining your fingers. His breath hitched at the contact, but he didn’t pull away.
“Okay” you said softly, your voice trembling but sure. “Let’s try again.”
Aaron’s shoulders sagged with relief, and for the first time in what felt like forever, he smiled—a real, genuine smile that reached his eyes.
And as he squeezed your hand, you felt a flicker of hope that maybe, just maybe, this time would be different.

"No, listen to me, please." Atem kept his gaze down and away, unable to bring himself to look at Roy at the moment. "I don't think you understand what you're saying. It's because you mean everything to me that I want you to know what you're getting yourself into, what you're asking here. This is a mere human you're asking to vow your life to, yes, but... Are you really sure? Me?" His hand began to tremble in his Colonel's hand.
"I've... kept you from your own world, I've hurt you so many times, I've caused you to put your own feelings on hold because I can't keep up. I've... been a terrible husband in the past. I've hurt so many around me, those I've considered near and dear to me. I was too late to save the life of someone I wanted to walk down the aisle with. I have enemies all around, and even came close to death so many times. Never mind I have this dark... thing inside of me that completely exposed me and nearly hurt you. Stop feeling for once and think! Is that what you really want? Someone like that?"
He closed his eyes, feeling his whole body start to tremble and his chest to hurt even more. "You can say it, and I can say it... as much as we want that we want to be happy... but it means nothing if I haven't done a thing to deserve it. I may... say I want to be happy, but honestly... I know that I've done far too much to others to even think about such a thing. Please, just..." He had completely looked away, keeping his head down so Roy couldn't attempt to read his eyes.
Tumblr media
"Just think about what you're saying, who you're talking to. Is this really what you want?"
Tumblr media
Roy hears his question and takes Atem's left hand into his own from his chest, giving it a soft squeeze. "I am sure, I wouldn't be kneeling here if I wasn't sure, Atem." He states honestly, telling him how he feels in this moment.
"You mean everything to me, and I want to live the rest of my life with you." He knows Atem is probably second guessing everything that's what he could tell in his eyes. Scared that he didn't think he was ready, didn't think he deserved it.
Roy was going to stand beside him, no matter what, even if he said no tonight. He'd ask again when the time came if he decided that they needed to wait. He wondered what the other was thinking, and he was willing to answer any questions he had.
"I told you, I will always be by your side, Atem. No matter what."

Nagi Birthday (2024) SSR Story
Best Wishes Snap
Happy Happy Day! (2nd part)
Tumblr media
The bee in Nagi's signature is both because it's one of his favorite emojis, as well as the fact the "Hachi" in Hachinoya can mean bee! The 4-leaf clover is also a significant symbol to Nagi.
Tumblr media
Nagi: My cheeks feel warm...
Nagi: The party is long over, yet my heart is still pounding...
Tumblr media
Ushio: Hachinoya-san.
Nagi: Ushio? And...
Yukikaze: Are you alright? You've been crying for quite a bit now.
Ushio: Seeing you continue your act even as the tears flowed out from under your zombie mask was pretty entertaining to watch.
Yukikaze: Indeed, Nagi is very talented.
Yukikaze: But you should replenish all those fluids you lost. Here's some decaffeinated rooibos tea and a hand towel.
Nagi: Wow... this is like some top-notch after care you'd receive from from one of those massage places.... Not that I've ever been to one.
Chihiro: Nagipeko~ Were you still crying? And wait, is that large garbage bag you're holding filled to the brim with used tissues??
Tumblr media
Nagi: Oh, yeah, Chief prepared it for me.
Ushio: Ugh.... that's way too much snot for me to handle, gross.
Yukikaze: Tears of happiness are a beautiful thing indeed. But of course, tears that come from sadness are beautiful as well.
Ushio: That's not what I was getting at... well, it's fine.
Ushio: Hachinoya-san, mind if I get this over with real quick? If we don't get you to bed soon you might just use up all of Hama House's tissues.
Nagi: ? What is it?
Ushio: Ha.... You really are dense. I'm the one who got selected by the "Random Present System" to give you a present.
Nagi: Wow.... I really did get one....
Ushio: Isn't that obvious? Here, the present I got you is this apron.
Ushio: Your work ends up getting you dirty all the time right? That's why I carefully picked out one that's anti-bacterial. It's water-resistant too.
Tumblr media
Ushio: Well, Happy Birthday.... Um, I hope it's a good year ahead for you.
Nagi: Ushio... you took the time to select a gift for someone like me....
Tumblr media
Ushio: Ugh! Don't start sobbing on me now, seriously!
Tumblr media
Nagi: Nn!!
Chihiro: C'mon, don't cry, it's time to smile, smile~
Nagi: You're right.... Gotta take deep breaths....
Tumblr media
Nagi: Thank you for the present Ushio. Thank you for the cake too, it was super tasty. So much so I wish I could cut it into 365 tiny pieces and have them every day of the year.
Ushio: Hmph....
Ushio: Seriously, why am I in charge of baking the cakes? Aren't you guys working a high school student way too hard? I'm super busy y'know?
Nagi: It's not just any cake that everyone wants, it's precisely because it's a cake you made that everyone wants it. Let me know whenever you're busy, if there's anything I can help you with, I'll do it.
Tumblr media
Ushio: Huh... No no, there's no need for that.
Nagi: But everyone would be sad if you couldn't bake cakes because you were too busy... Of course, I'd be sad too.
Tumblr media
Ushio: Oh fine! I'll make sure I do it!
Tumblr media
Nagi: Is that so? I'm relieved then.
Chihiro: Ah! He finally smiled! Snapping that Nagipeko real quick~!
Nagi: Ah.
Tumblr media
Chihiro: Happy Nagi day! Yay~
Ushio: Don't upload that on dazzle, got it? I don't want my face on social media.
Ushio: Besides, the birthday boy isn't even in the frame.
Chihiro: It's all good~ We'll just keep snappin' and snappin' till we get it right~! C'mon squeeze in tight~
Tumblr media
Nagi: Uh.... it's warm....
Yukikaze: Everyone, come over here, let's take a photo together.
Momiji: Coming~
Tumblr media
Nagi: ...
Nagi: A place filled with warmth and kindness.... Just a year ago, I couldn't even imagine I'd have a place where I belong.
Tumblr media
Nagi: I want to treasure this happiness that's sure to continue even after my birthday is over.

when max is depressed we know something's wrong because lucas says with his words that he knows something's wrong but when mike is depressed we don't think anything of it because will's right next to him rolling his eyes about how stupid straight people are
#briony babbles#1) don't assume people's sexualities#I recently saw this from my family members#reacting like !!!!!!! to a girl they know... also like girls?#'oh wow I didn't see that coming' yeah that's because you don't think girls liking girls is normal#so it's sad to see queer people do the same thing bc you KNOW irl queer people act like will#2) I get it romance is stupid people who aren't queer at all and having all these stupid rules for engaging in it are especially stupid#but I listen to my sister talk about her boy drama because I care about her#and it's not just 'how to get them together' it's 'how to help her feel better'#I'm not 15 so maybe I'm being unfair with my wisdom that will doesn't have because he is 15 but like#if I see someone I love people pleasing and feeling like they owe someone a romantic relationship because they're too empathetic#I tell them they should consider working on their boundaries#because I want them to be with someone who makes them truly happy#and then with mike it's just ASSUMING that it's el in THAT WAY#when the only relationship advice he wants to hear is that it's okay to break up with el and still be friends#because he can't lose her again#and ONCE AGAIN he is NOT STRAIGHT#assuming things is stupid! even if he WAS straight but he wasn't happy in the relationship it would be okay to go back to being friends!#mike's problems are just as individual-specific and difficult to understand for his friends as max's are#especially because they won't just say it#but max gets lucas who tries so hard to understand without being told#and mike tries so hard to tell will without saying it outright and will keeps not hearing him#i'm sorry i wasn't there 'it's not your fault' no 'i disappeared' no no you didn't! i just didn't look hard enough. but i see you now#fanon won't tell you this but the point of byler s4 is for *will* to prove that he's good enough for *mike*#mike already did that by being the best bf in the world before they were even dating for the first 2 seasons of the show#saved will's life twice and y'all wanna act like mike doesn't deserve him. shut the fuck up

my s class hunters does a really good job at gradually raising the stakes without feeling like a pointless power creep and keeping me extremely invested and i keep saying this but I really do think it's bc it's a story grounded in love at every turn... the bond between the han brothers especially is extremely compelling and beautiful and makes me feel like a knife is being stabbed into my heart and twisted all around... i love them so so much 😞💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
#(another tweet liveblog that im crossposting here)#im up to ep 102 in the webtoon now btw!!!#s class liveblog#also it took a while for yj to completely grow on me (i always liked/loved him but it's prob bc they#lightened the tone of his chara or w/e as ppl were saying... in the beginning at least#that ive been holding off calling him a 'fav' (im kinda picky w protags/have side chara liking syndrome...#even w twsb i didnt rly start biasing yeseo until i read the novel... cedric was my 1st bias#(and w orv ive only read (part of) the webtoon and yjh is my bias so mdnfn)#(i rly loved yj from the 1st few ch tho but yea i can kinda tell the webtoon lightened his chara a lot... not that i think its all bad bc#its been fun to read at least dkfbdn)#but now that im further in im just like... wow. he's such an incredible character and protagonist. wow#def as good of a protagonist as kdj (and i personally like him better bc he's a big brother HHHHHNG.#i love him just like i love jung yeseo...#i love him SO much. he's just incredible#and yea dont tell me about the novel bc im going to read it myself but#yeah i rly cant wait to experience his original characterization and get intimately aquainted w his narration/internal thoughts...#REITERATING...DONT SPOIL ME ANYTHING FR#also just more abt the webtoon but... biwan-nim is SOOO good at drawing expressions & portraying emotions#i fucking feel every emotion that yj feels and it fucking breaks my heart and makes me cry uuuaaaghh T___T#yoojin.... TT__TT💔💔💔#also god he's just... so fucking COOL. and not just in like a cool savvy protag kinda way#(bc usually i kinda sleep when protags r like. Too cool/op skfjksdj but he's not like that at all)#i mean as a person... he's so incredibly... oughhh#as a person... as a big brother... T__T...#i cant even put it into words. he's just... i love him so much. it hurts.... im so deeply invested and rooting for him at every step...#he and yoohyun deserve the whole world i really hope they can get their happy ending together T_T💔💔💔❤️‍🔥 please...

I've been reading the Percy Jackson books for the first time over the past two weeks! Just finished "The Battle of the Labyrinth" last night (which btw is my favorite of the series so far!!)
I have now gained a new obsession but it might not be what you think
Tumblr media
#like i swear to god i did not expect to be absolutely enthralled by the protagonist's mom kahskahfjkaja#she's just so fascinating to me#she's so kind and smart and she has given EVERYTHING for her son okay#like her staying married to an abuser for years to protect him omg she deserves the world#like when Poseidon called her a queen in the first book he was 100% right alright she is a queen#the woman murdered her abuser with a monster's head LIKE THAT'S SO AWESOME#also i cannot explain how obsessed i am with her relationship with Poseidon okay#like. do i want her to still have feelings for him? yes. do i need poseidon to pine and long for her from the distance?? ABSOLUTELY YES.#like realistically it's more likely that be does not but I need it okay#like at first i wanted them to be reunited because you know. of course i did.#but i am perfectly content with her finding love and happiness with a mortal man and Poseidon pining for her from the distance#like listen. this woman is amazing and she deserves to have an immortal all powerful god unable to get over her alright SHE DESERVES IT#but the way he just showed up at Percy's birthday party and called her as beautiful as ever????? omg??? BECAUSE YES SHE IS#and she blushed??? be still my beating heart#kahskahfksja honestly laughing at myself right now like I'm just over here watching a Sally Jackson tele novela in my head#AND HAVING THE TIME OF MY LIFE#percy jackson#no spoilers please if you see this post i know very little about the story and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself that way#also jsut as an fyi i am also a little obsessed with Percy and Annabeth kajakshdjshsha they are too cute and intense#sally jackson#percy jackson and the olympians

Jasmine: (Perfectly asleep curled up in Danse’s arms, her fingers gripping the fabric of his new minuteman coat)
Dogmeat: (Wags his tail when he sees Danse enter the house with the teen girl)
Danse: (Being extra careful not to jostle her, his embrace comfy and cozy like a warm ball of bread dough)
Hancock: (Makes room on the sofa) “Bring the baby sister here.” (Fluffs up a pillow)
Danse: (Gently lays Jazzy down on the sofa, rubbing her back)
Hancock: (Cautiously drapes a blanket over the teen) “Careful now, act like you’re laying down Mini Nuke in a crib….”
Jasmine: (Sleepily coos as she reaches up to wrap her big brother up in a hug) “G’night Danse, luv ya….” (Kisses him on the cheek then nuzzles onto his shoulder)
Danse: “Uh……” (Malfunctions and freezes in place, unsure what to do with this gesture of affection from this tiny kitten)
Nick: “Well would ya look at that…” (Grins proudly at his kids from across the room)
Hancock: (Huffs softly) “Now ain’t that just the sweetest thing I’ve seen my lifetime.”
Codsworth: “Oh I must say that I agree with Mayor Hancock on this one!”
Nick: (Crosses the room to put a friendly hand on Danse’s back)
Dogmeat: (Licks Danse’s hands to try and break him out of his stupor)
Piper: (Absolutely fawning over this moment) “Awww, if only I had my camera on me!!!”
Deacon: “I could totally say something snappy and witty here- but today I am feeling generous and feel inclined not to.” (Zips his lips with a cheeky grin) “You’re both adorable though.”
Danse: (Tenderly lays the girl back down and covers her with the blanket once more)
Jasmine: (Reaches to snatch his hand in hers, humming as she makes herself nice and comfy)
Preston: (Smiles softly) “To think how far you’ve come, Danse….”
Curie: (Puts a hand over her heart) “Ah Monsieur Danse! I believe the child has finally taken a liking to you! She did not try to scratch your face this time!”
Danse: (Pets the kittens curls, watching drift off back into sleep)
MacCready: (Crosses his arms with a satisfied look) “Now doesn’t this beat the hoity-toity soldier life any old day, eh Danse?”
Cait: (Takes a sip of her herbal tea as she grins) “Y’know- a girl really does love a good strong family man.”
Danse: (Glances around the room with slightly watery eyes) “…..Is this what having a family actually feels like?”
Nick: (Pats the former paladin on the back) “Welcome to the family big guy- you’re home.”
X6: (Courser grunt and nod of approval from his spot in the back corner)
(Yes- this is a parallel to this because we love Danse here and he deserves a family that won’t turn their back on him)
