I was thinking of more Dead Serious prompts but my mind went wondering and came up with something else.

What if Danny is dating Respawn!

So this is like a one-sided Dead Serious idea with Danny already dating Respawn (idk their pairing name sorry)

So, now hear me out, what if Danny or rather Phantom joins the Titans or maybe as a young adult joins the JL.

And what if he does his best to avoid being around Robin unless it's for actual missions. Now Robin, Damian, didn't mind this at first in fact he approved of it cause you know it's Damian. But like a cat being ignored he gets curious as to why and starts trying to seek Danny out to find out.

But again Danny is doing his best to avoid the other hero.

Damian eventually gets a crush on Danny after watching Danny go eldritch/ghost king mode and is trying to figure out a way to woo the half ghost.

HOWEVER Danny is in a relationship already, a good one too, with Damian's kinda clone/half brother Respawn. He hasn't told any of them because he knows the bad blood between him and the others. And add the fact Respawn still does mercenary work and Danny doesn't mind but knows those in the Titans or JL do, he doesn't tell any of the heroes whose he's dating.

Danny is keeping his distance cause he knows his boyfriend gets jealous and clingy whenever he comes back from meetings that Robin is in.

An Au where, Maddie is Damian and Danyal, Biological mother besides Talia, Basically Talia and Maddie(+Jack) both grew up in LOA and were very best friends(lovers?? at some point including Jack). Talia wanted a natural birth for her son, as she was not really fond of the idea of a test tube baby. so she asked Maddie a favour to become a surrogate. which Maddie happily accepted. because of her experience with Jazz and Danyal's birth, Talia was sure Maddie can give birth to her son safely.

This was approved by Ra's Because he deemed Maddie as someone that could be trusted due to her becoming one of the most strongest and smart assassins in the LOA(He was fond of her, like really really fond.) So he accepted his daughter proposal for Maddie to become the surrogate.

And then Damian was born, Jazz and Danny basically loved Damian and would not go anywhere but the baby's side. Jack loved taking care of Damian due to Maddie and Talia not knowing how to take care of a baby with physical affection.(basically house husband behavior,).

As the kids grew they become closer through the years until you know, it wasn't safe for them in the LOA anymore so they helped Damian escape first to his Bio dad's place(They did let him pick though, if he wanted to stay with the fenton-nightangles or go to Bruce, he chose the latter because if something happened to them he'll have connections.) and then Maddie and Jack escaped with their children in a random town named Amity park. which turns out was a hotspot for Lazarus pits or Ectoplasm. (They decided to change the name cause everytime Jack hears the word pits he started laughing).

The children of course never severed their communication throughout the years. And Bruce never asked about his life at the LOA so he never introduced his half siblings.

Damian hated his older brother, Danyal with all his might. if you asked him to choose between his Half-sister Jazz or Danyal. He'll choose Jazz in a heartbeat.

He hated him, because of his foolishness and absolute neglect of his surroundings, making him a easy prey amongst people who wants to take advantage of him. He disliked Danyal's poor choices in life especially now.

The youngest wayne stood in the middle of one of the many hallways of his highschool as he stared at a certain, black haired and blue eyed girl, who was waving at him ecstatically, he contemplated if he should fight the girl head on or just run and escape.

Obviously in this situation he would pick the most desirable option to make sure his day wasn't ruined by his older brother, so he picked the latter. Damian dashed through the hallways, making sure to lose the girl before the third period started. He slowed down as he looked warily at his surroundings his back against the storage room incase he needed a hiding place from that test tube spawn.

When suddenly a pair of arms phased through the door embracing Damian as he tried to escape.

The girl giggled as she kept her hold on the older boy who tried to get her off him. "Hi uncle Damian!"

she greeted as she finally let go making space for the boy to take a step back.

"Danielle. Why are you here, Did Danyal send you to pester me?" He glared at his niece, as he kept his guard up.

"Kind of, mama sent me here to check up on you." She explained "You kinda went MIA when you stopped answering his texts and calls."

"This is absurd, I can take care of myself. him thinking something happened to me for not answering his calls is offending, I am not like him." Damian stated as he finally lowered his guard. And started to walk away expecting for Elle to follow to which she did.

"Eh.. You know him, His just paranoid he always is" Elle exclaimed as she looked at her schedule. "What's your next class Uncle?"

"Math."

"Ooh Yey! We're classmates, let's sit together!"

A groan left Damian as Elle chuckled and continued to look at her class schedule beside him, Peaceful quietness welcomed the two as they walked to their shared class.

"Do you have a apartment nearby?" Damian asked as he stood up from his table waiting for Elle as she packed her notebooks, only filled with doodles from both party.

"Nope, Mama requested that we move here for easier transport but i didn't wanna bother with all the moving stuff." Elle explained as she finished tidying up. "Beside I can just fly back and forth, what's the use of my powers if I can't abuse em."

"Your logic is as worse as Danyal." Damian exclaimed as they both headed out the door. "Follow along. you'll be staying at my manor this week."

"Why?" Elle asked suspiciously

"Because, It is a tiring job to use your flight ability for something so stupid." The boy explained.

"Is that really all?"

"Ofcourse not, As your uncle it's my job to keep you energized and unbothered, But as your mother's brother its my duty to annoy him for thinking i was in danger. so I'm basically taking you hostage at the manor." Damian grinned, as he took his niece's hand to make sure she doesn't get lost through the maze of hallways

"So basically kidnapping? I'm in."

"Master Damian, welcome home." Alfred greeted as he opened the front door. "And who might you be?"

"Hello Alfred, This is Danielle your Great-granddaughter." Damian said, making Alfred raise his eyebrows slightly before returning to his relaxed state.

"Well, nice to meet you Lady Danielle" Alfred greeted with a smile, as he shook her hand.

"Please call me Elle, Alfred" Elle brightly smiled

"Very well then Lady Elle." Alfred chuckled.

"Is father home yet?" Damian asked

"No not yet master Damian, you two may go to the living room as I prepare the guest room for Lady Elle." Alfred exclaimed as he headed to the kitchen to finish what he was doing.

Elle looked at Damian, Damian looked at Elle.

"I can feel my phone vibrating from my bag." She laughed. Her mother Danny was certainly going to be sad that his little brother kidnapped his daughter for a Uncle and niece Hangout.

DP+DC, Overprotective fentons

Danny learns he has an older brother. A child his parents signed over to a couple with the last name Grayson. His brother's name is apparently Richard ‘Dick’ Greyson. Danny as a halfa is immediately attached, and thinks of him as part of his fraid. Jazz has that too being in amity. 

Now imagine they meet up in  a coffee shop. Danny is jittery and excited, and Jazz  is too. So they start talking and Dick doesn’t know what to think. But it’s Gotham so their’s a robbery situation, and the fentons go along with it because they're lazy.

 And then imagine they try to take Dick because “it’s the wayne bratt.” all ten robbers are down in seconds, zip tied to a coffee table leg. And dick just blinks. And they coo over him

. And the Bat’s obviously are following him ,and it’s fucking hilarious in their opinion. Because the two younger siblings are basically adopting dick. And you can practically see them jump for joy when he mentions it wasn’t an official adoption. So it went from ‘oh no that kid is adoption bait’ to ‘oh no dick is being adopted.

Oh the situations too, jazz knows in thirty seconds he has a healing leg bone, which how? He’s been hiding those for  years!  And they refuse to let him walk so Danny carries him. (also i imagine danny and jazz are taller than him cause fucking fenton height genes.) so the bats are cackling as Dick is being carried around. And they won’t let him pay for anything either. 

Add Ellie and Dan (reformed) in too. Ellie gets him trinkets and stuff, and hates Damian because that is my brother not yours! Cue feral bratt face off. And Dan is the tallest and files for adoption papers because he's the eldest, kinda. 

They also all move to Gotham to be with him so he’s okay. It takes them a day in Gotham to figure out he’s nightwing. And now whenever he’s even slightly challenged one of the fentons pop in. 

The bats at first thing it's hysterical, until they realize they’re stealing dick. Jason says something mean to Dick he can’t sleep till he apologizes or Tims coffee just stops working. And it’s chaos. Finally they merge and it’s even worse. Any bat is hurt and suddenly they are being coddled. Damian is no exception.

Jazz works at Arkham, when she finds out what one of her patients did her Bats, she basically psychologically messes them up for a good couple weeks. Dan is a mechanic, did he sabotage every rouge who came to him, maybe no his faults they blew themselves up. Ellie and Danny run a bakery and feed kids, the rouges know o to mess with the Fentons.

So i love the over protective bats and all, but over protective fentons? Thats my jam.

Heyyyy I saw your Danny Phantom comic about him reading the Great Gatsby during the fight with Vlad (great art btw), and I was wondering if u could give a long-suffering student a rundown of the themes?

I’m gonna cover the themes I can think of off the top of my head and if you really need me to go into more details, I CAN??? But this is just a quick “it’s 7 in the morning for me and I’m actually gonna hyperfixate real quick” kinda moment.

Yes, there are two kinds of rich people, and yes, one side really doesn’t like the other. It’s apparent in Tom and all of his opinions of Gatsby are later on in the book when he finally attends one of his fancy parties.

Old money gets their opinions and styles and tastes from their parents who got it from their parents. It’s a boys club, if you’re in? You’re in, and it’s hard to get in unless you’re of a certain pedigree.

New money? Loud. Outrageous. Doesn’t even know what to do with all that money and everyone is welcome to enjoy it. Gatsby owns a BRIGHT ASS YELLOW CAR not because it’s of a certain model but because it screams loud and expensive and “look at me” and it’s not just cause he’s trying to get with your wife. He knows how to ACT like old money, to a certain degree, but at the end of the day, he can’t hide that he wasn’t born into it.

An unreliable narrator is usually a story told from a first person point of view and their own biases can often warp the reader’s perspective on the events unfolding. Nick even tries to clarify that he doesn’t judge people. Yeah, OUT LOUD, but he’s judging internally. Which is making you, the reader, judge. Tom has an affair with Myrtle Wilson. Nick IS quietly judging them although he tries not to and how could he not? Daisy is his cousin, and he sees the man she’s married make her move away from Chicago and Tom is not hiding his affair very well, she clearly knows about it and hates it.

Oh but here comes Gatsby, with this beautiful story of how he fell in love and went to war and couldn’t be with her and came back and she’s MARRIED and now he’s trying to win her back- and Nick HELPS HIM. THAT’S NOT UNBIASED. HE IS SWAYED. He sides with Gatsby through and through, even when he starts to see the flaws in Gatsby’s vision, he wants to cheer for him.

We’re going back to the green light here for a minute. Gatsby gets a house DIRECTLY ACROSS the lake from where Daisy’s is. There’s the green light at the end of her dock that flashes, that’s a reminder to Gatsby when he looks out that his dream is just over there. Daisy, the perfect gal, along with acceptance into the fancy rich lifestyle. He wants to meet her parents, he wants to have kids with her, he wants to be a somebody, an established respectable person.

But he’s kind of fooling himself too. He wants too much. It’s not enough to have Daisy, she needs to RENOUNCE her ever loving Tom and then properly marry him. He wants to be a part of the boy’s club, but Tom finds out that he has gained his wealth through the mafia and that’s not very respectable! He wants Daisy to call him in the morning, a call that never comes because she won’t cast aside her lifestyle for him. She was raised to trust and live in the sheltered life she was brought up in, even if she’s unhappy. It’s safer than the unknown. She chooses to stay with Tom, as even she realizes she can’t live up to Gatsby’s ideals.

It’s ironic cause this is the Oxford English Dictionary definition and Gatsby is an “Oxford Man!” Not only has Gatsby idealized on the American Dream, but it’s a dream that was never real. Yes, he did get rich, but not because he had equal opportunities. He got lucky to help out an old rich man on his boat (WHICH HE DIDNT EVEN GET ANY MONEY FROM) to learn the rich social skills, and he worked with the mafia to get all his wealth. Yes, he got Daisy, but not REALLY. He had an affair with her. They didn’t marry properly, didn’t have kids, didn’t move in together. And Daisy never intended on doing any of these things. She wanted to run away.

And Gatsby was never going to get these things because he wasn’t BORN rich. Tom represents the concept of Old Money so well not only in how he lacks any genuine character that isn’t inherited from his father, but how protective he is of keeping the status quo, so that he remains in power and no one who doesn’t fit the club can come in.

And Gatsby pays the price of his affair while Tom gets away with everything. How is this the American Dream? It isn’t.

Okay, that’s my stuff. I can go into symbolism on the yellow car and big billboard and all that other stuff if this was helpful at all. I hope it is helpful???

Danny Phantom but make him a circus/freakshow attraction headcanons

Maybe he was sold maybe he was captured. Danny couldn't quite remember threw the pain. The lab accident felt like decades ago but time goes slow when your hurting

The blood blossoms were always underfoot. The cage was small his muzzle tight and he was hungry.

So so hungry

Still he didn't look forward to his preformances to the gawking masked people or the salt circle his cage would be placed in or turning from boy to ghost for entertainments sake.

The first time he tried to escape when his box was opened.

That of course only made his capturer mad and earned him more blood blooms.

Dick hated places like this. Cruel hurtful places sullying the name of the circus. Maybe that's why he jumped at the chance to help spy on the freakshow that had recently come to town despite Bruce's worried expression. It wasn't hard to convince Bruce to let him go though. He knew circus lingo better than anyone else in the family after all. Sure his slang MAY be a little outdated but it didn't matter too much for just a few nights.

Dick has seen some horrible things and stayed pretty lighthearted, but because the circus is so sacred to him I think he takes this mission very seriously.

In the end it's him Bruce on the mission.

It wasn't hard to locate where the metas and "freaks" were being kept.

He entered the tent and between a man labeled "the cannibal" and Killer Croc who somehow got dragged into this, there was a young man in a muzzle kneeling on what looked like flowers.

Something about his eyes made him look almost haunted.

He moved on to the next row taking note of every poor soul there.

He was going to get them free.

Sure Bruce didn't like metas, but he wasn't heartless. It didn't take long for him to divide the staff into the willing and unwilling participants. It took him even less time to tie up the willing workers and to call in the Gotham police department.

When batman went to talk to the victims one stood out to him. The boy was muzzled his eyes rapidly switching from blue to green.

He couldn't have been older than Jason.

No one else there was muzzled.

He wondered briefly what made him so dangerous.

The question nagged at him as he asked person after person how they got here.

As expected no one was there voluntarily.

Speaking to an albino set of twins, the last to be questioned, he asked about the boy in the muzzle.

One twin merely shrugged and said he had been there the longest.

It was enough to strike empathy in him.

He approached carefully removing first the lock then the muzzle.

The young man almost pushed past him to get out.

Starting his questioning he asked where he was from and what his name is.

The young man, Danny apparently, didn't seam to remember much outside of the circus though. Where some of the more recently "aquired" captives remembered the older ones didnt

He could only imagine it was trauma holding them back.

Because this place was all he could remember, Danny didn't know what he wanted to do after he was free besides get far far away.

Bruce asked him no more questions.

General headcanons:

Danny is still sassy in this au but he's also bitter.

He doesn't talk much at first cause he's not used to it cause of the muzzle.

It takes quite a while for him to become more like his own self.

Sits on top of Wayne manor staring at the stars he doesn't remember why though.

He has "sad eyes" as babs and steph phrased it.

Bruce didn't mean to keep danny. He's basically a foster fail.

He will never here the end of such from Alfred.

Talking about Alfred he handles the new addition just fine

After all Danny broody and sassy.

He even has the light eyes dark hair combo.

Danny is kinda a foil to Dick. Where Dick is cheerful, Danny is jaded

Where Dick sees the circus as sacred Danny sees it as a trigger

They get along ok weirdly enough.

Jason swore when he first saw Danny.

"Bruce you got another damn kid"

Offers to take him away from Bruce if ever needed. Offer always stands.

Tim doesn't notice the ghost boy for about a week. He was just too sleep deprived.

When he did he assumed danny was a sleep deprivation hallucination

Now he doesn't know how to approach him so he treats him like he's always been there.

Cass understands Danny.

The silence between them is comfortable and amicable

Damian is Damian.

He isn't sure what to think so at first he comes of as aggressive.

That stands until he sees Danny in a fight for the first time.

Now he only wonders now this meta who can turn invisible and fly got caught.

He thinks better then to ask.

Slowly Danny learns to trust again. To live again.

Dannymay 2022- Day 9 Ghost King AU

"Sup dude? Uhhhhh, what's up with the, uhhhhh," Tucker said gesturing to the space just above his head.

"Look Danny I know we're the losers of the school, but this is a bit much." Sam adds in.

"Okay, okay, I know I know, but hear me out." Danny stammers to his defense.

"Oh, this better be good." Sam responds crossing her arms across her chest with an unamused look on her face.

"Okay so you know how Clockwork told me I had 'urgent duties to attend in the ghost zone'?"

"Yeah you kind called super frantic dude."

"Anyways, so exactly 1 year from yesterday I defeated the previous Ghost King, so as per the ancient tradition and law of the ghost zone, I was to be crowned the new king and ruler of the ghost zone and all ghosts."

"I'm sorry what?" Sam asked.

"Dude you mean to tell me my best friend is a King? Hey can you make me a lord or something? Oh, I know! You can make me a knight! Can I get cool armor and a sword? A sword would be so cool!"

"Shut up Tucker!" Sam retaliated. "Are you joking Danny? I swear you better not, this is a serious thing!"

"Trust me the rulers of different parts of the ghost zone were all there like Dora and Frostbite, plus Clockwork and the observants had to read from this giant ancient book and it was a whole thing."

"So you have the ring of rage and crown of fire now?"

"Yeah. And see that's the problem."

"Yeah no kidding."

"Danny you're a mess already with your powers. Adding more power to that is just going to be a mess!" Sam argued.

"Okay, wow. First of all, ow. Secondly, not what I was talking about. You see since my role as King wasn't challenged by any of the lower division royalty members in the zone, my royal ghost stuff cannot be taken off. So I'm stuck with the crown and ring on me 24/7!"

"Okay but why is the crown of rage a Burger King crown?" Tucker asked.

Danny just sighed and slumped down. "Look when I detransform I still can't take them off. But Hades explained that I can alter the way they look. Apparently it's how he alters how he looks to humans when he enters the living world. Anyways, a small simple silver ring and burger king crown were the best I could come up with. So, yeah. This is what I'm going to be wearing the rest of my life."

"Damn dude. You are so gonna get beat by Dash for that. Good luck."

"Well what else was I supposed to do?"

"Literally anything else. Danny, you can't take it off, meaning it can't fall off, you couldn't just make it so small people can't see it or small and dark enough to blend in with your hair?" Sam pointed out.

"You know I hate you right?"

"You're welcome. So, change it?"

"Uggg, I would if I could Sam. But I kinda need Hades' help. I basically had him do this for me cause I could NOT figure it out."

"Well like Tuck said, good luck with Dash."

S1E7 Exclusive: 

- Danny is in this episode for point-five seconds and he doesn’t even speak or interact with Peter much so again, almost entirely headcanon and commentary but i’ll try

- MJ going through different versions of her name for the Daily Bugle interview was really cute

- this entire episode is filmed almost entirely from the POV of MJ’s camera and that’s a crime

- while Sam, Ava, and Luke look vaguely upset about the interview, Danny just looks tired, almost as if this is a fight he’s heard and is not interested in continuing. 

- honorable PowerTiger mention: Ava and Luke are practically sitting in each other’s laps

- lets count the amount of times MJ is picked up and moved by Peter as Spiderman. here’s one

- MJ is a fucking idiot, you don’t run TOWARDS the danger, even if you’re a reporter

- bug man is somehow the best and worst insult Hulk could’ve come up with 

- how many times did Peter consider calling the team this fight? cause all we see is what the camera shows us, so it’s possible he tried to call the team

-i think people sometimes forget that behind the sarcasm and powers is a kid who’s super fucking smart and way out of his depth. Peter’s used to being a solo act, he doesn’t know how to be a team leader, you know?

- SHIELD in this series makes me angry specifically because Peter is a proven ally and they shot at him anyway

- headcanon: “sparky” is also a nickname Peter affectionately uses for Danny when they start dating

- Hulk just picks Peter up and moves him like he weighs nothing

- you don’t see the kind of desperation Peter displays when searching for MJ often. so far, it’s shown for Harry and MJ alone.

S1E8: Back in Black

- the dragon man scares me, but only because i love dragons and hate to see them slandered like this

- the Venom suit is cool but that’s essentially it for this version of Venom

- why don’t people listen to Peter’s bad feelings more often?

- Peter sits next to Danny during the meeting

- while the others harp on Peter for being jealous and cry about him being sick, Danny says, “perhaps you’re seeing connections where there are none” which i believe was his attempt at comforting Peter. Venom was traumatizing for all of them, but for Peter especially

- also, i know the wiki says that Fury and the team wanted Venom on the team, but the first one who brings that up is Peter. 

- the fact that no one says “are you okay?” kind of hurts, but also from the voice and excessive sneezing t’s kinda obvious he isn’t so i’ll give them a pass on that. i’m attributing the no comforting to the fact that they’ve only known each other for a few months or so at this point. i like to believe that Danny reaches out later and asks after Peter because he’s that kind of guy

- okay, so if it wasn’t obvious BEFORE NOW that this fake-Spidey is Harry, the flexing bit just proves it. 

- also, how Harry doesn’t put it together that Peter is Spiderman from this episode alone is beyond me

- another thing that turns me off of SpideyNova is that Sam seems to constantly antagonize Peter at every chance he gets

- this episode marks the beginning of Peter and Harry’s cracking friendship

- Harry’s whole villain arc later in the series is actually very tragic when you consider that all it really is, is that Harry wants his dad’s approval. it’s all he’s ever wanted

- “last time we met, you had someone inside there that shouldn’t be” flashbacks to episode 4 when Sam, Luke, and Danny got trapped

- Vemon is much cooler in the Hardy movies if i’m honest with myself, but that’s only because of Eddie Brock

- headcanon: Harry Osborn has electricity scars on his back

- Peter recounting his fight to Fury is cute

- the team all harp on Peter for getting them sick, but Danny’s comment was “there is absolutely no enlightenment to be found in this level of misery” which less harping and more a complaint that he doesn’t like being sick

- side note: colds are spread by bodily fluid and Peter has hardly been around the team unless you count sneezing at Sam from like six feet away, so how did the entire team catch Peter’s cold?

- of course Danny studied the ancient texts and OF COURSE he can read this Nordic rock. also, i fully believe that Danny’s mystic powers are the only reason the stone activated to send the Frost Giant through

- so you can’t see it well and it’s only for a split second, but when the Frost Giant first brings it’s club down and it brings the club back up, you can see that Peter has appeared in front of Danny and Sam has now teleported to be standing behind Luke. i’m counting this towards SpideyFist for the express reason that there is NO NEED for Peter and Danny to be standing that close together

- “what is that thing?”, Danny you studied the ancient texts and they said NOTHING about Frost Giants?

- the second Danny gets hurt, Peter’s giving orders for “less talking, more teamwork”

- this might be me, but Peter always sounds so admiring when he talks about Danny and this introduction to Thor is no different

- Danny jumping in to calm the arguement, by offering the sage advice DIRECTLY TO PETER

- okay, so Luke, Sam, and Ava are looking in the direction i assume the ice came from, but Danny is not, so what’s Danny looking at? my guess? he was going to warn Peter and Thor about the Frost Giants before they even appeared

- Danny goes looking for weak points in the ice and without even discussing it, Peter knows exactly what he’s doing which suggests a level of familiarity we’ve yet to see between Peter and the others

- Peter also asks how the progress is coming and when Danny responds with one of his sayings instead of “yes, no” or something more concrete, Peter just accepts it without comment

- “found it” busts through a wall of solid ice like it’s nothing DAMN BOY 

- you know, the Frost Giants keep freezing Danny specifically and i feel like it’s telling that it’s happened TWICE that Danny was incapacitated first (once with Venom and now with the Frost Giants)

- when desposited back in the snow, Danny and Peter land directly parallel to each other

- Danny and Peter step forward together when the dwarf is scolding Thor

- when they find him, the Master Dwarf is working on the sword he’ll later give to Danny

- in the line up, Danny and Peter are standing close together. you don’t see their hands, but i firmly believe they held hands at first

- what is it with Danny and Peter and standing close together this episode? it’s like every chance they get. just another reason i firmly believe this is the episode BEFORE they got together

- Mesmero gives “skiddish teenager” vibes, not “supervillain” vibes

- when Sam goes to protest as Peter walks away, Danny stops him from saying anything, which i am in fact counting as minorly protective

- Danny is the only one who seems actually concerned with how Peter’s acting instead of upset.

- Danny’s question also suggests that he expected an honest response, as if he’d asked something similar before, perhaps many times. and the shoulder touch! 

- firstly, Wolverine is unneccisarily aggressive with a non-confrontational Danny, but second, the way Danny looks both afraid and concerned says a lot to how he feels about Peter and how Peter acts around him

- “baby i do like me a redhead” flashbacks to Wolverine’s crush on Jean

- off screen convos include what Wolverine said to the team, MJ, and Harry and how things went down with Danny specifically. something like: “kid, you got a guy willing to stand up for you when you’re not yourself and when you’ve just threatened him. if i where you, i wouldn’t let him go.”

- Danny was in Peter’s “soap opera” themed daydream-sequence alongside MJ and Ava, who would both be considered love-interests

- Danny is the first one Peter acknowledges when he’s being scolded by the team for keeping secrets

- “wait, you can do that?” “he can do that” not Danny casually being the only one who remembers that Peter is fucking SMART

- Danny being the one to consistantly acknowldge there is another life inside Venom once being told so and using Harry’s name as a reminder to the others that it’s PETER’S BEST FRIEND that acts as Venom’s host

- Danny’s the first one to show up on the roof when Peter’s up there with Venom

- USM!Osborn makes the list of shitty fathers purely because he’s using his son as a science experiment

- Peter being worried about Aunt May being caught indencent is really cute

- FURY GAVE MINORS CONTRACTS TO SIGN AND THOUGHT THAT’D BE A-O-FUCKING-KAY? jesus fuck the more i watch this show as an adult the more fucked up it seems

- we’re supposed to see him leaving his communicator and walking out as Peter being idiotic, but in reality this is a massive breech of privacy for a company full of SPIES who give contracts to teenagers and expect them to sign it with no issues. and you know, maybe there are none. i guarentee you that if a lawyer went over those contracts, there’d be a lot of things wrong with them. these are children! the only ones of them that have legal guardians are Luke and Peter. Luke’s parents are SHIELD scientists and Peter lives with his Aunt! this is fucking BS

- no notable interactions between Danny and Peter in this episode, so here’s a headcanon. when Danny found out that Spiderman was captured by Doc Ock, he went to Peter’s home and asked to spend a few hours out with him. under the guise of making sure Peter is okay. in reality it’s because Danny’s kinda scared to lose Peter, even only knowing him for a short amount of time

S1E13 Strange Days: 

- this is one of my favorite episodes because of the whole magic v. science debate. i think it’s really cool

- Danny tells Peter that he was dreamwalking, which seems pretty personal and private. Peter didn’t seem shocked when Danny tells him this, so they’ve likely talked about it, which means that Peter has probably given Danny permission to walk in his dreams. 

- Danny wakes Peter up instead of someone he’s known longer, like Luke, or someone better suited to a mystic battle, like Ava

- Danny wakes Peter up KNOWING how Peter feels about actual magic, implying they’ve talked about that as well, at length probably because Danny’s on the mystic side of things while Peter firmly believes in science

- Peter knows Danny well enough to predict Danny’s reaction to something unexplained that he seems to know a little something about, explained as “weird and foreboding”

- Danny holds on to Peter’s waist when they’re riding the Spider-Cycle, much like one in media would traditionally hold on if you where DATING

- even Danny’s explaination of magic sounds practiced, as if he’s repeated it a lot, specifically to Peter

- Danny seems so happy when Peter seems to get something he’s saying

- Peter’s fond exasperation when the quote goes over Danny’s head

- Danny takes all of Peter’s jokes and silliness without complaint or judgement

- traditoinally, bowing to someone is shown to be a sign of respect to them. Danny bowing to Peter, even sarcastically, kind of shows the same thing

- Peter acts like “a beacon to someone with [Danny’s] sensitivities” which i’m counting because it falls under the “fate put them together” tag

- Danny comforting Peter when his mind is blown BIG TIME by Doctor Strange, with an arm around the shoulders and a hand on the bicep

- idk if this makes sense, but during the full episode, Peter’s focus is on Danny almost entirely, even when it seems like it’s not

- Danny’s immediately justification of bringing Peter instead of someone more qualified, Danny is Peter’s number-one fan and you can’t convince me otherwise

- in Luke’s dreamworld, Danny and Peter are tied back to back, which is symbolic in that even Luke sees they’re always there for each other. Luke and Danny may be ride-or-die, but Danny and Peter are more than even that

- Peter looks at Danny when he says, “i will temporarily press pause on my magic bashing”, mystic arts are a big part of who Danny is as a person and Peter knows that, which means that, coming from Peter, those words would mean more to him than they would to Strange

- Peter gets knocked down and Danny IMMEDIATELY takes out the Dreamon who does it and then helps Peter up. he also proceeds to explain the rules of this world Peter’s never been exposed to

- Peter clocks it immediately when Danny disappears into his dreamroom

- Danny’s introduction of his home to Peter, even in his dreamlike state

- Peter continuously trying to tell Danny that this isn’t real, even saying “i bet it’s fantastic, in REAL LIFE” and saying “that’s Nightmare!”

- Danny’s assurance to Peter that he doesn’t have anything to fear, but not saying he’s not afraid. clever bit of word play there, tbh. also Peter knowing Danny’s scared anyway

- despite being in the dreamworld, Danny STILL listens to Peter when Peter says anything

- Peter defends Danny against his own worst fears, struggling agianst iron bars that keep him away from Danny while shouting encouragement. 

- Danny tells Peter his worst fears, a choice he makes to elaborate on what Peter is already seeing

- Peter punches through three iron bars to get to Danny

- i firmly believe that Nightmare’s roaring wasn’t what kicked Peter out of Danny’s dreamroom, but Danny himself. Danny is supposed to be the mysterious, mystic warrior, a king sometime in the future when his year of study is up. i highly doubt he was given lessons on mental health in K’un-Lun, so it’s probable that Danny doesn’t want Peter to see him at a low point. so he kicks Peter out of his dreamroom in order to protect both himself and Peter, because god knows the kind of damage a damn dragon can to the unexperienced soul

- “he’s playing your fears! just like he did Iron Fist!” Peter is so far gone, mans isn’t even HERE and he’s still mentioning him every two seconds

- Danny and Peter are standing UNNECCISARILY CLOSE TOGETHER

- “nice entrance!” “i try. thank you for beliving in me” translation: “thank god your back” “of course i am, you saved me”. ALTERNATE TRANSLATION: “you came!” “you called.”

- THE SHOULDER TOUCHING

- in my experience, when you’re sleeping around another person, generally you feel safe around them. which lines up with what happened in this ep, but also, one experience doesn’t equal a pattern

Note: Ok so I haven't wrote in like six years, but I was listening to Ten by Jewel, which is the only song I really like by her and was hit with this idea. Please go easy on me lol and check out the song while you read to help set the vibes. All italics are lyrics from the song!! It's also meant to be just a little blurb so that's why it's kinda fast past and jumps in time. 😊

Whoever said love is easy, must have never been in love. Sometimes it's a landmine, one wrong step and it blows up. A word, a look, lights a hidden fuse.

I had always heard that love was easy, whoever said that could not have actually been in love. Cause this right now was the furthest thing from easy. This was a raw festering wound. Painful and is not tended to with care, the beginning of the end.

It's hard to see just what you have when you're seeing red. And easy to do something that you know we'll both regret.

Honestly, it had started like a normal day for Josh and I. The sun shining through our window woke me up. Opening my eyes again the harsh light, I saw Josh cast in a warm glow, truly looking like the angel he is. The fan blowing lightly on his brown bed head of curls, and leaving a cold breeze over our intertwined bodies. Curling my legs under the white duvet made me realize just how cold they were. With a sigh from the sudden warmth I pushed my legs against Josh's.

"Mmm, y/n your legs are so cold." Josh mumbled

Giggling and cuddling further into his arms I said, "I know, and you're warm."

"I could stay like this all day." He said, while tightening his arms around me. "Unfortunately, we have another day at the studio." Pulling away, Josh stood from the bed, scratching his back while making his way to the closet. Sighing, I rolled over on my back. I love Josh and I love the music he and the boys make, but lately it's been causing an unspoken strain on our relationship. With the new album drop right around the corner it's been many early days and late nights for the four band members. Leaving very little time for quality time, and it was starting to eat at me more and more.

Groaning as I stood up from the bed, feet padding against the cold wooden floor into the closet. Leaning against the doorway I asked, "do you think it's gonna be a late night again?"

Josh pulled his long sleeve white shirt over his head, causing his curls to spring back into place. "Not tonight, we only have two more songs to fine tune and I told the boys I wanted to be home tonight at a decent time. I miss you."

"I miss you too."

With a kiss and a promise to see me soon Josh made his way out the door.

Better stop, think count to ten before I leave. One, I still hate you. Two, three, I still wanna leave. Four, I'm searching for that door.

Our calming start to the day was quickly forgotten when 2:15am rolled around and I was still on the velvet olive green couch alone. I had called and texted Josh from 8:00 to now and still no response. Each unanswered message added fuel to the fire. This wasn't the first time he had done this, but at this point I was wanting to make it the last. Throwing the knit blanket off my legs I got ready to head to bed, I wasn't gonna wait up anymore for him. Reaching for the salt lamp to turn off the soft glow in the room, my hand froze in the air at the sound of keys and giggling at the door.

"Shh, Josh you're gonna wake y/n." I heard Danny's voice whisper. The door swung open to show a very tispy Josh being held up by Danny, who was shaking his head at the loud apology falling from Josh's mouth. Seeing the state he was in caused the flames of rage inside me to rise higher. "We finished the album, Jake convinced everyone to go out for drinks to celebrate." Said the drummer before me with a guilty grimace.

"Thanks Danny." I nodded my head at him as he sat Josh down where I had been sitting. Smiling back he made his way back to the door. The soft click from the front door sounded like a gunshot to the tension I held. Growing up my therapist always told me to count to ten. Count to ten when you are angry or upset to allow yourself time to calm down, so you don't say or act out of emotion. But that was always easier said than done.

Rolling his head to the side Josh beamed up at me. "Love, come sit with me, I missed you."

Crossing my arms over my chest I counted, one, "no Josh, I'm going to bed it's late, if you missed me so much you would have come home."

His eyes rolled and filled with annoyance, "come on, don't be like that. I lost track of time and was having fun. Why do you always have to be uptight and make a big deal out of nothing?"

"Make a big deal out of nothing? You promised, and we both know this isn't the first time you've done this."

With a shake of his head he spit back, "I'm not gonna listen to you bitch about this. It's not that serious. We can do something tomorrow."

Two.

"That's not the point and you know it. Doing something tomorrow doesn't change that you weren't here like you said you would be. I'm so tired of feeling like second best. You are never home anymore and when you are you still off in your own little world. Then you come home and tell me I'm bitching." My voice rising and going faster the further into my speech I got.

Standing up Josh walked towards me, anger evident in his posture. "Oh, well fuck me, I'm so sorry that I've been working my ass off to make sure that you can sit at home, waiting for your wiriting to get magically published. Without me there would be nothing."

Josh knew that my writing was a sore spot. I had been trying to get published for years before meeting him, but it was hard to do while working in fast food. I couldn't give my full energy into sending it out, or even netting with companies who may pick up your book. That is until Josh and I became serious, he asked me to move in with him and to leave my job so I could put in 110% with my book. He said he wanted to help me and that it wasn't an issue. It took me almost a year of his persistence to finally do it. I never wanted anyone to think I was using him for his money, but he assured me that those who knew us understood and didn't think I was.

Three. I was always easy to anger, growing up with a very short fuse. Calmly thinking through arguments was never my strong suit. If I was hurt like this in an argument I only ever saw one solution. Leave. "If you truly feel that all I do is sit at home and wait around for magic to happen, then maybe I should leave." Tears filled my eyes as I turned around to grab my car keys.

Five, then I look into your eyes. Six, take a deep breath. Seven, take a step back. Eight, nine, I don't know why we even started this fight. By the time I get to ten. I'm right back in your arms again.

His hand grabbed my arm, voice watery. "Wait. Please, don't go."

Sighing, I slowly turned around. Five. Six. Seven.

"I'm sorry, none of that is how I feel. I've just been so stressed because of the album and I was coming down from the drinks and the night, and just was mad and said things I didn't mean. I swear that I know you are trying hard to get published and that you do so much more than just sit around. Whenever I come home the house is always clean, I never have to worry about washing my favorite shirt, or what I'm gonna make for my lunch or dinner. You do all that, you devote all your extra time to making things easier for me. I just spoke in the heat of the moment and hit where I knew it would hurt." Josh looked down, with tears rolling down his rosy cheeks, "just please don't leave me, I love you and I can't lose you."

Eight. The thought of me leaving had sobered him up. Nine. He was spilling his heart out to me, speaking with so much heartache and truth. Ten. I pulled him towards me, sobbing along with him. Josh buried his head in my neck holding me tight. "I know, baby, I'm sorry too, I'm not going anywhere."

You can lose what you're nothing thankful for. I don't want that to happen to you and me. Better count my blessings.

After more tears and apologies Josh had finally fallen asleep. I had tried to but couldn't so I just watched his peaceful sleep. We still had more to do to cover all that was said to night to prevent this from happening again. I know we will be ok, at least this time. But what happens if there comes a day that I don't make it to ten?

so a few things that could come of danny “turning” on bryan

1. he never actually aligned himself with bryan or the bcc. he didn’t really even turn on jericho. he just said he wants to go his own way and made a tag team match. i think that him turning wasn’t even him turning, it was just him being like i’m not aligned with any of y’all. he looked hesitant to hug jericho after the match as well (that could just be danny being danny though). so, what this could lead to could be daniel being like “i want to be the one to take the title from jericho, i don’t need a team and so on and so forth” (i don’t think he would fit well in bcc anyway) he should just be a heel/tweener on his own. he doesn’t want to be seen as “bryan’s bcc brat” or “jericho’s pet project” he is his own person and an actual competitor.

2. heel turn for yuta. look, i know u guys see yoots as a sweet cinnamon roll or whatever but the seeds have been planted for a wheeler yuta heel turn. he was shoved aside in favour of bryan’s need for daniel to join them. he was left alone when the firm attacked him the first time. regal was the only one there to help when the firm attacked a second time, and he’s there for almost every brawl the other guys get themselves into. and, HE HATES GARCIA in kayfabe or whatever. he has every right to be upset with danielson for turning his attention to garcia, someone who wouldn’t be loyal to the faction, over himself who is already an amazing talent that they should be turning their attention to. AND renee is having a sit down chat with yuta and danielson where more seeds could be planted. yuta being like “this is what you get when you shove me aside for a snake like garcia” or some shit like that. personally, i think a heel turn for yuta would be great.

3. garcia taking the roh title off of jericho and unifying the pure and world titles, as a heel who is not a “sports entertainer”

at the very least, we know this will most likely result in the unification of the pure and world titles which would be great. i have a feeling all of this is happening as a means of splitting the rosters between aew and roh for hopefully an upcoming roh tv deal. this will add spice to the bcc cause they have been kinda unfocused lately (specifically when it comes to bryan). also, i know y’all hated last week but the story there was like “look daniel, sammy is my original protege and he won the match by staying aligned with me and my sports entertainment and all that jazz”. daniel lost that match alongside bryan danielson which could have caused him to lose faith in all that real wrestling stuff. that’s the story that is being told at this moment. my theories are just things i would love to see that lead into. please leave some more thoughts on this.

at the end of the day, wrestling shouldn’t be predictable and this is a fun storyline. get over the need for instant gratification.

“Where’s Kitty?” you asked as you walked into Hyde’s room. He was sitting on his bed, cramped between that and the wall. He lived in the Formans house which is where most of you spent your time anyway. Hyde and Eric just happened to live there. 

Hyde looked up at you as he flipped through some records. 

“How should I know?” 

“I don’t know, you live with her?” you said, shrugging. He shook his head.

“There’s only like, two stories to this house you should be able to search yourself.” You rolled your eyes and walked all the way in, taking the records from his hand. He reached for it but you kept it out of his hands. 

“Zeppelin huh?” you asked like you were surprised. You understood how much he liked that band and others like it, plenty of times. You took the record out and started the player. Hyde let you, leaning forward on the bed. The music started to play after you put the needle on it. You turned around to him and he rolled his eyes. 

“Why’d you want Kitty?” he asked. You raised a finger.

“I was asking where Kitty was.” You walked out of his room and he sat, confused for about five seconds before you walked back in, wearing one of his shirts.

“Did you take off your shirt while you were out there?”

“Yes.”

“And I missed it?!” You rolled your eyes and did a little dramatic twirl. You ran a hand through your hair and sat down on the bed beside him.

“I didn’t want her to see me going through the laundry again,” you muttered, nodding your head to the tune of the music. He looked over at you and laid down on the bed, propping himself up with his elbow.

“Again?” he asked.

“Last time she gave me a thirty minute lecture about how stealing was bad. I couldn’t get a word in edgewise on how it isn’t stealing if you know that I’m taking it. Regardless, it was right after we had sat in the circle and I probably looked like I was about to pass out from hunger or something,” you joked. Hyde rolled his eyes and put his arm around you. You put your head on his chest sweetly and drummed your fingers on his stomach.

He wouldn’t be like this with anyone else. Just you. And if you told anyone that he was like this then he would probably never do it again. But because you were quiet and typically he only did this when he knew you were all alone, he was able to enjoy it and so were you. 

“Looks better on you anyway,” he said. You smiled.

“You’re a teddy bear Steven Hyde.” 

“Only for you.” 

You sat there for a long time, listening to the record until it needed to be flipped. You laughed at each other and he made quips about the gang and you told stories about girl talk with Donna and Jackie. He thought that was especially interesting even if he didn’t admit it. 

“Then Donna said that she hated it and that Eric was like, telling her to roller skate and…” you trailed off, looking at the door. “Someone’s downstairs.” 

By this time you had sat up and were practically straddling him. He sat up as well from where he was laying down and put his hand firmly on your side to keep him steady. 

“Can you see who?” he asked.

“I think it’s Jackie and Kelso,” you whispered. You leaned over and turned off the record so that they didn’t hear the two of you in here. You laughed a bit and put your hand over his mouth to keep him from laughing. 

“Why-”

“Shhhh.” You smiled and couldn’t help but giggle as you heard Jackie and Michael start talking. It was nothing of substance but still, it was fun to not let them know that you were there.

He moved your hand away and kissed you before you could protest. You giggled into his lips but kissed him back just as swiftly as he had kissed you. He smiled and pulled away.

“Get up, we gotta annoy them.” You slid off his lap and nodded.

“It is our job. Jackie!”

So since I'm very bad at remembering my ideas, I'm gonna throw this out there and hope one day I'm like "WAIT didn't I have an idea for a fic??? What was it???" And I will find it on my tumblr.

It's about Danny Phantom, obviously.

There are actually two of them in here so:

The easiest one: Jack and Maddie are not stupid. I mean they're scientists, the use the scientific method. One of the things about the scientific method is that if you do a bunch of tests, based on an hypothesis and only one of them comes out disproving it, then your hypothesis is incorrect.

Phantom has disproved basically all of their hypothesis.

So, next thing to do? Create a new one. Do new tests. They take Jazz's suggestion and try and see if the ghosts of Amity are actually conscious. Because obviously they're sentient, but are they like animals? Or are they like robots with artificial intelligence?

Or even better yet, are they like humans?

They grab Phantom's attention and ask him if he would cooperate for this test. A simple Turing test. Obviously they're still wary because of everything that happened with him, and do the test with witnesses to keep both Phantom's and their minds at ease.

He passed the test. With flying colors.

They're shocked and ask him if he knew peaceful ghosts that would be willing to take the test (because, y'know. Scientific method. Need to try over and over again). Phantom would have to explain that not all ghosts are as human-like as him (as, first of all, he's a halfa, but he doesn't say that. And second, lots of them are blobs or animal-like ghosts), but cue his parents meeting Jhonny and Kitty (cause I like the idea that they have a truce with Phantom and that going out of the zone helps them with their couple problems), as well as Shadow (example of a less human-like ghost). Then Sidney, Dora, the Fright Knight (cause king ghost Danny ftw) and Frostbite.

They all pass, more or less. Some, like Dora, the light and Sidney, where given away by their choice of word, but other than that all of them passed the test.

OK SO MORE COMPLEX ONE:

I love crossovers. I love finding ways of putting the two universes together, of making them work with each other, adapting the rules so that they apply to both. (With Danny Phantom it's also really cool to just... Make him travel the multiverse. He doesn't adhere to the rules of where he goes to, so it's always hilarious. But we're not here for that now).

One of the best ones to do this with is My Hero Academia. Whenever a show has someone with powers I end up asking myself "how should that work in the world of my hero?" And start trying to incorporate it in the lore.

So, first thing first, we're getting rid of the canon story of my hero. Completely unrelated to the show. This takes place decades in the past, when the first people where developing quirks (so if I wanted to write something with this and actually use my hero characters, I'd make it so that they where hit with a time traveling quirk or that Clockwork was somehow involved).

The Fenton's hatred for ghosts? Make it discrimination against the people who have quirks.

Danny being half-ghost? His quirk's fault. He calls it Ghost, for simplicity, it allows him to come back as a sort of ghost-like creature after he dies. Somehow, one day, he doesn't die completely so his body fixes it the only way it know how. Making him partially ghost.

Obviously that would mean that all the ghosts he fights aren't ghosts anymore. They're villains with quirks, and their powers would be based on what they can do on the show, minus the basic intangibility, invisibility and flight.

Obviously only Sam and Tucker would know he was Phantom and he had a quirk, he's also kinda the only one in town with one. People would be a little racist against quirk havers, but the kids, like in the show, come around to it. And actually start loving Phantom and thinking of him as a hero.

How do I fit Vlad in all of this? Ehm ahhhh this is the one thing I didn't think about. Very basic, but could give him a power similar to Danny, were instead of a ghost, he becomes a vampire. But his quirk is caused by an accident in college, so it's artificial.

Why does Skulker (who doesn't have a quirk. He's just a guy in a suit) hunt Danny? He has a very unique quirk.

Does Dani exist? I mean. Yeah. Cloning is not so farfetched, especially with the existence of quirks.

Clockwork can control time, he involuntary does that being a child, then an adult then an old man thing. The Observants are people without quirks that keep him in check, an organization that made a pact with him to stay young forever or something in change of idk what. No idea what Clockwork would get out of it I won't lie. Money maybe? Or somehow they found a way of keeping him there against his will?

Walker (and I'll make a seperate post about this) is an ex guy in white. Yes they still exist, but they hunt quirk havers instead of paranormal stuff. Walker was kicked out because he actually has a quirk but lied about it. He's after his own kind in the show as well. I mean, he's a stickler to the rules, but he only ever seems to care when it's ghosts that brake them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but never has he punished a human. His quirk is making semi-sentient minions. They're not copies of himself. They're like clay humans with basic forms. They all look alike and have no special characteristics.

Frostbite is just... A yeti. With cryokenisis. It's a mutation type quirk.

Same goes for Wulf, he's just a humanoid wolf that can create teleportation portals. I can't think of a reason why he would only speak Esperanto though. It could be something similar to Five from umbrella academy. He accidentally got stuck in the 1600 as a kid and managed to come back only relatively recently.

I feel like all the other ghosts have obvious powers.

Cujo can become ginormous,

Technus can control technology,

Dora and Aragon can become dragons,

Jhonny gives people bad luck and can control his shadow,

Kitty can make man disappear,

Ember can mind control using music,

Spectra can use people's negative emotions to stay young,

Bernard has shapeshifting,

Youngblood can't be seen by adults (side effect: can't grow old) and his sideckick has a variant of shapeshifting where he can only transform in animals. A definitive father figure),

Box ghost can control boxes,

Pandora can control the plagues of the world,

Desiré can make people's wishes come true,

Sidney can swap bodies with people,

Undergrowth can control plants,

Pariah Dark- I... Actually don't know...

Lunch Lady can control food,

Aaaanndddd no more come to mind.

I want to do something with this AU but I can't really think of an interesting story, other than "kids from 1A get misplaced in time and Danny has to help, discovering the existence of Clockwork and the Observants, whom he hates. So he tries to get Clockwork out of there with the other kid's help" but that's it, really.

I actually have a 3rd idea, but it basically works the same as the MHA one. Crossover with the X-Men.

Substitute quirk havers with mutants and quirks with mutations and you get the idea.

The plot would be more of a "Danny gets recruited by Xavier after the trauma of almost dying activated his mutation and goes to live at the mansion. This happens after the events of season 3, alla salted to make sense in the world of Marvel, but without Phantom planet. He makes friends there, since Sam and Tucker aren't with him and everything is fine and dandy and happy. Until it comes out that the Fentons actually contribute to the creation of the Sentinels, because they hate Phantom that much.

So Danny has to infiltrate his own family to get info on how the Sentinels work so they can destroy them, since his parents are still oblivious and they made it so that the Sentinels wouldn't attack Danny thinking that his accident just somehow make him register as a mutant on machinery" and that's it.

Transformers Siege (WFC) character review!(1/2)

Instead of separating from decepticons and autobots (mainly because of the Predacons and maximals), I’m going to put them in order of which bots I really feel like talking about the most! So, here we go!

*watch for swearing, spoilers, and possible thirst.

/Also, alt modes will NOT be available for this series. They kinda don’t transform too much, and when they do, they hardly let me get a shot, sooo/

Optimus Prime!!; 

This Optimus did a full 180 for not only my opinion, but for his own characterization. This Optimus started out as impulsive, reckless, ignorant of other’s opinions, and quite frankly, was just frustrating to deal with. He was the one who essentially sent the Cybertron into a total fuck storm, and as such, doomed MANY lives, including the one of his love, Elita one. Honestly, Optimus is kinda. Dumb, honestly? He literally sent the live source of Cybertron into the vastness of space, just to keep Megatron from winning the war. Literally, EVERYONE hated him at the start, from Bumblebee to Ratchet. Then, get this- he learned from his mistakes. From Skylynx, to the Optimus Primal, to the soul of Elita, to Optimus and Ratchet and even Megatron- he had so many influences telling him what he did wrong. Towards the end of the series, he became the classic, noble, somewhat self conscious mech we all grew to know and love. Honestly? 9/10. He isn’t perfect. Far from it, but damn Optimus KNOWS this, and that’s so great- I can go all day, you guys (also that one moment where he asked Megatron to forgive him at gunpoint, such a good fucking scene).

Elita one!!; 

I love her. SO much. She’s a QUEEN. She has been ignored, she has been held hostage, she’s been punched and kicked and shot at-my girl has been through hell. And she carries it WELL. Not only is she FINE, but she is bold, smart, and she is STUBBORN in her beliefs. She is also a natural born leader, and I honestly and really appreciate her. Her death was honestly one of the sadder moments, but her soul’s reunion with Optimus was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. I wish we saw more of her, honestly and desperately (plus she has so many character interactions, there’s SO many ways you can go about her character, it’s incredible). 10/10 my girl is a fighter and she was so ride or die for Optimus (even though I lowkey ship her with those three little cons, ya’ll know the ones) 💕.

Megatron!!(Siege);

Every Megatron has something different about them. For example, this series has two Megatron’s (three because Galvatron), but we’re talking about the Megatron that we start the series with. The sort of ‘G1’ Megatron. This Megatron has a few...issues. Lips aside, this Megatron has a few things I’d change about him. He’s insane, he’s incredibly selfish, and honestly? His character interactions leave something to be desired, in my opinion. However, he does have a blend of good traits. You guys remember Prime Wars Megatron? How this man refused to go down without being ‘fuck you’ to his opponent? This Megatron had those moments, telling Galvatron right the fuck off when he tried to present him with a decision to join him. I love a Megatron that refuses to back down. I also appreciated the regret he clearly has for stuff he did (we all remember what happened to that one power plant), and I appreciate that In a Megatron. Couple that with the pompous villain aesthetic (he had his own pictures hung up on a wall for fucks sakes). However, he isn’t my favorite Megatron (that’s a tie between Prime/Prime Wars Megatron). 7/10. Fun in some cases, but not someone I think I’ll deem my favorite Megatron.

Megatron!!(beast wars);

This Megatron was kinda doomed from the start. From the issue with his VA (not everyone can be David Kaye, but still), to the odd way he simped over the other Megatron, kinda made me dislike seeing him on the screen. Don’t me wrong, he wasn’t AWFUL, and like everyone else on the show he LOOKED good and his VA did...okay. Listen, he had a REALLY good simp voice. But beast wars Megatron actually saw the old Megatron as an old fool. Now he suddenly worships him? It kinda makes this Megatron look pathetic, and I’m not really into it. 4/10. I’m sorry, but I appreciated him more when he wasn’t on screen.

Ironhide!!; 

He did like. Nothing in this series. He only really spoke to tell Optimus what he did. He’s just so cute and I liked hearing him speak. Not the same Ironhide voice, but still I love him terribly 10/10 he is but a baby waby.

Sideswipe!!;

He did like, two things in total in this series, and BOTH made me feel something. He also misses his brother Sunny and it honestly hurt me. Someone hold and support him, 8/10 this precious bundle of red-

Skyfire!!;

This Skyfire actually starts off as not only a decepticon, but a HIGH ranking decepticon, pretty much Megatron’s second hand. He was pretty decepticon motivated, up until Megatron decided the whole genocide of an entire race was too much for her. Honestly his role was a LOT like MTMTE Impactor in this series. A close believer changed to the opposite side, because Megatron’s dumbass got carried away. This Skyfire died, but up until that, he was determined to help the cause. He was literally willing to have a bomb implanted into him just to prove he was with the autobots. He was bold, stubborn, and everyone he interacted with was GREAT. 8/10. Tbh, probably my second favorite Skyfire (hard to compete with Cyberverse).

Impactor!!;

Pretty much the first time I’ve seen him in a show (at least noticeably) and I appreciated his little debut here. Impactor betrayed the decepticon, and in the best way possible. Not because he thought the cause was wrong, but because he got a super hot medic boyfriend, who JUST so happens to be an autobot. Seriously, ratchet fixed his booboos and Impactor just went ‘Listen I’d die for you’. Did anyone but Ratchet trust him? Nope. Did Mirage like him? Nope. Did we give a shit because he was very literally, ride or die for Ratchet? Also nope. Like this dude deadass was willing to go through the ‘we don’t trust decepticons’ bullshit, JUST because Ratchet swept him off his feet. 10/10, Impactor didn’t deserve to die, he deserved to be the hostile gay to suit the hostile lesbian that was Blackarachnia. 💜

Ratchet!!;

This Ratchet was like. The ONLY Ratchet I’ve ever seen, who just fucking hated Optimus. Seriously, this dude just wanted to be alone with his husband. Wanted NO part of Optimus, no part of Bumblebee, NO ONE. He’s sarcastic, bitter, and he WILL give you shit over Impactor or any of his patients. He’s a sour/sweet old man and even though I wish I saw him more, I love him and adore him with my big ol’ heart. 9/10, everyone can eat my ass I’m not over Impactor still.

Wheeljack!!;

Chaotic bastard. Smartass, dumbass, gay ass, and the first character to say ‘ass’, I love him. He doesn’t play much in terms of actual plot stuff (he’s like, a support character tbh) but the few times he was on screen, I loved him. It was like someone gave Danny Devito a PHD. 8/10, just needed to be able to give more one liners like he deserved.

Pairing: Danny 'Jed Olsen' Johnson x Reader

Summary: You wanted to leave him. You did, one way or the other.

Danny knew this had been coming for a while.

He had felt it, like a chill creeping down his back.

The glasses 'Jed' wore at his job had always been a ruse after all, Danny's sight was adequate, it didn't need any correcting, especially to see what was written all over your face. The photos, those candid portraits he had taken of you when you thought he wasn't around? They spoke. 

They told him nothing good.

Danny still waited.

Maybe he was reading into it, maybe he had misjudged your expressions. Maybe, maybe, maybe, he was going crazy thinking about the existing possibilities.

He had to miss out on work.

Take a break from taking lives and writing about the very end of those lives, all for you.

Despite knowing your routine to the point he could recite it by hour, he followed your every move that whole week. 

By far the worse thing had been the fact that the amount of time he had spent being M.I.A had provided him with absolutely nothing, it only drove him closer to insanity.

You were still the same old you, had the same old life, but it was this tugging feeling at his stomach, back, head, everywhere that never left him alone.

His manipulation skills would find a way to confront you under normal circumstances, yet this time he didn't try, there was no way he was going to be put into a spot where he had to potentially be vulnerable, especially if his suspicions proved true.

He hated the situation, but you had to give him credit for not acting up on his anxieties before hearing it was true. Although maybe he should've, because they only caused him trouble, like nearly getting in his way during a spontaneous murder moment once.

When that soon-to-be-dead man wept into his knife about 'never getting to tell his girlfriend he loved him this morning', he felt like throwing up.

Thankfully, the disgust died down and so did the poor bastard with his throat slit.

Afterwards, though, he wondered if you would spend your last minutes doing the same.

Something told him no, especially if you realized your murderer would be him.

Surely you'd regret it, though.

Imagining the horror in your eyes at that moment would've satisfied him a bit normally, yet it only shot a sharp pain in his chest now.

You called him 3 days later after the stalking spree, saying you wanted time away. Time away, he had scoffed when you hung up. It was a bitter victory. Danny was once again reminded about how he hadn't been wrong about a thing once. Never in his life. Damn his people reading skills. Damn him for pursuing you. For far, far too long. Damn him for feeling anything other than homicidal tendencies for once. 

Sighing, he closed the trunk. Part of him didn't want to do this, but you had left him no choice. 

It wasn't Danny's M.O to transport his victims far away, in fact it was quite the opposite.

His killings always had to be local to where he was at the time, so he could write about it. That had been the motive from day one, when he had been somewhere around 13 or 14. Years ago. How the time flies. Your murder, though, would be a step-up from all that, he'd make sure of it.

Not another a gruesome Roseville murder, committed by none other than Ghostface himself.

Not even a horrifying murder case that terrified a major city like Miami. You'll make the countrywide headlines.

Backing the black sedan around, he threw gravel from the rear tires as the stolen vehicle took off. Cold-hearted as he was trying to be, he was rage-planning, in a way.

It made his usually self-assured and calculated personality second-guess himself. Danny grabbed the steering wheel tighter as the cries got quieter behind him. The calming sounds of the tires rolling on the pavement filled the car instead. Maybe not, he thought. Granting you special treatment even in separation was like admitting defeat, whether you were no longer alive or not.  

But Danny had to admit, he had hoped against all odds that you wouldn't try to leave him. Look where that got you. You have to be smarter than that.

A mistake like this wouldn't be made from someone so smart, someone, probably the only person, he actually, truly loved in his whole life. 

Danny wiped his perspiring face with his right arm, smiling bitterly. His eyes moved to the rearview mirror, looking at the back seat. This is the end of your story. Or perhaps, it was the beginning of the end.

Ooooooooh! I’m a glutton for attention. Not really, I have anxiety, I’m very awkward, and a major introvert but THIS makes my heart happy. You are very much not overstepping and this helped me to get some of my thoughts out of my head. Thank you Gil for engaging! Also sorry, I’m about to wordvomit some of my ideas so I don’t forget them all. Also if it sounds like I’m rambling, I am, I know it, and I am sorry but I also can’t stop won’t stop.

I am definitely having Regent Jazz, also Regent Dan because they both hate it SO MUCH. Dealing with Observants SUCKS. They take turns until anything big comes up then essentially rock paper scissors it for who’s gotta deal with the annoying eyeballs.

Becoming/being Regent is going to be like becoming/being an eldritch horror. Just because I said so and I think it’s a cool concept. I’m so excited to write about it -maybe even draw it. One thing’s for sure, shit will hit the fan and the JL will be relieved the eldritch being is fighting for them and also absolutely terrified at the idea of it turning on them. I gotta freak out Constantine somehow. He’s a hard man to impress.

I’m debating on identity shenanigans. You did it so well in Friendly Neighborhood Vigilante, (if you haven’t read it yet, READ IT NOW IT IS AMAZING) and I don’t know that I’d have a good way to fit it into the storyline. But if I can figure out a way, I definitely will!

The Fentons were left for dead and deserved it. Unfortunately they probably survive (I kinda need villains and they’re annoyingly great at it).

I would use DC villains here, but I am more comfortable with DP knowledge-wise. I will use one or two or five (it’s Gotham, hello) but want to look into Red Hood and his character and his interaction with the Batfam more before I write too much about any of them. I have some comics a friend gifted me on Tim so I’m not too worried about him; but the rest of them? I am doing some extensive research on and writing character sheets. (I will also do this on Tim. Let’s be real here, I would feel bad for excluding him from the rest even though he’s not actually real, wouldn’t actually know or has any real feelings to get hurt over.) Opinions and ideas are welcome, accepted tearfully (tears of JOY), and appreciated.

Also I don’t know DC timeline. *Hides face behind hands* LIKE AT ALLLLLL but it will be before Jason reconciles enough to move back into the manor. Which I hear he did. His relationship will be iffy with Bruce and wary with the rest.

Dan starts working with the Justice League as Phantom. This causes problems. Lots of problems. I kind of want Ellie too but I don’t know how to include her in the fic yet. Same with Vlad. And Sam and Tucker and Valerie. I will figure out MOST of them. Probably. Hopefully. Lady Gotham and Clockwork and Frostbite too.

From what I do know of Jason, he will most definitely try to hide this incident from the rest of the family and it will fail miserably. Barbara will find out. It is inevitable.

I’m thinking about going total cliche and having both Jazz and Danny be adopted. Of sorts. Maddie is still their biological mom but they both have different fathers through IVF. I vote Bruce (Danny) and Lex Luthor (Jazz) because Maddie has the brains to pull it off, but is it TOO cliche? If I do go this route, boy do I have PLANS. They involve DEATH.

Of course Danny has his own problems, like surviving puberty AGAIN. It wasn’t fun the first time and he’s not looking forward to a repeat with another Dash at another school. He is definitely going to the same school as Damian (courtesy of Vlad cash, comes back to bite them in the butt later) and shenanigans ensue. Also chaos.

Dan (haven’t decided if his name will be Dan or Dante or a combination of both like Jazz and Jasmine) is redeemed, but bitter and guilt ridden. He is either working with Vlad (who is redeemed… sort of) for his day job and hating every second of it orrrr working as Lex Luther’s bodyguard. Either way, he has work trips, which I need for the plot because Dan and Jazz take care of Danny. And it gets Jason (not Red Hood… okay maybe Red Hood) involved too.

The plot involves them all growing into who they are meant to be while fighting for their right to live and the rights of ecto-entities. (I need you to know that that autocorrected to ectopic pregnancies and I almost left it that way because I laughed) Also Red Hood/Jason growing closer to this weird family, slowly falling for Jazz, and working on his relationship with Bruce.

ALSO BRUCE. There is a lot of potential there.

And don’t think I’ve forgotten about the GIW. They are the WORST and will be dealt with.

Dang it. This was meant to be small. I haven’t even gone through their overall arcs/themes (or the actual plot) and it’s sounding more and more like a 40 chapter fanfic. Oh poop.

Also, this will go up on my AO3… eventually. Probably this weekend because my state is about to get hit with like 14 inches of snow, but I’m not committing to it. I am also not committing to a posting schedule because I’m moving in a few months and scrambling to get ready for that. Just know the brainrot is there and apparently not dissipating even after 2.5 years of DP obsession. I’ll post/link my AO3 on here when I add the fic.

Still Alive (But Barely Breathing)

If someone had told Red Hood that he was going to climb through the wrong window at one of his many safe houses, he’d have laughed and flipped them off. Not just because it probably would have been the Demon Brat saying it and disregarding the little fucker would certainly get under his skin. And piss off Bruce. No. Jason was definitely too careful to make a mistake like that.

Well, until tonight.

To be fair, he had been shot. Twice. A through and through in his side, hopefully not damaging anything important, and once in the arm. But that might’ve been a graze. Going by pain, it hurt less than his side. Somewhere between “I need a bandaid” and “stepping on an infinite number of Legos with sharp teeth” on the pain scale. Honestly, he didn’t even want to look until he was safe. It’s not a problem if I can’t see it. And he was currently not safe judging by the sword the resident of this apartment held at his throat.

The first thing he noted was that she wasn’t afraid. In fact, she seemed hella pissed. Her beautiful blue eyes flashed in the moonlight. Most people, when they saw the helmet, along with his stature (Dickface said he was built like a tank) and intimidating presence, well, they got a little scared. This woman stood resolute, calm and determined in the face of danger. She had the presence of an Amazonian warrior. Now, Jason wasn’t much of a betting man, but he’d have put money down on her winning this fight.

Too many voices were vying for dominance in his mind. A part of him thought that if he could get the sword away from his throat, he stood a fighting chance of getting away. Another part considered his injuries. He was lightheaded already which was not a good sign. He needed to get out of here and get help fast. Another part geeked out over the sword. It was exquisite. This woman really had taste. The ornate filigree handle looked like a Swiss rapier, circa late 1600s. But the blade was not fragile like a rapier. In fact, it looked more like a sturdy longsword. Like she had taken pieces of history and meshed them together to create a sword that was beautiful but deadly. Another very small voice thought she was beautiful. He tried to ignore the last one it definitely wouldn’t help him here and hatch a plan to escape. She stepped further into the moonlight and all thoughts flew out of his head. He could have sworn her eyes were ice blue. Now they were a familiar bright green; practically glowing. Where had he seen that color before?

Trying to think made his head all fuzzy. Oh well. Time for some introductions. He felt like a seasoned warrior out to meet a new friend or foe. Attempting to speak felt like an impossible task.

“Hi.” He choked out, his voice gravelly and menacing with the helmet on.

“Hi Mister Red Hood!” A boy’s voice rang out from behind the woman. Oh shit. There was a kid. How did he not see a kid? Why was there a kid here?! He glanced around and noticed the sparse furniture along with a few moving boxes stacked in the corner. He… did he have the wrong apartment? This was his safe house in the Narrows. As far as he knew, no one lived on his floor or in the apartments above or below his. That’s what made this safe house perfect. It was convenient. It was safe.

The woman whispered something to the boy. He couldn’t tell if the words she spoke in a foreign yet all too familiar language were what made his blood run cold. Or the rapid blood loss was getting to him. Right. He needed help. Now. That forced him back into focus. He could feel his thoughts slowly slipping away. He grabbed onto the edge of the windowsill he’d just climbed through, grunting in pain at the sudden gush of blood coming from his side.

The woman tentatively lowered her sword, concern etched on her face. Good. This was good. He was… what was he doing? A wave of dizziness washed over him and he fell backward onto the floor. Black started forming around the edges of his vision. The woman rushed to his side and leaned over him. Her touch was light as she quickly assessed his wounds. Her hair enveloped his vision, so all he could see was her beautiful face. She was talking to him, face to face, er well, helmet, but he couldn’t hear her. Her voice distorted and muffled.

His last thought was, “Damn she’s pretty.” Before succumbing to sleep.

i'll just give a rundown of the plot

danny and his mom move from new jersey to los angeles in california. she keeps on hyping it up and when they get there it's just,,,,, dingy apartments so he already isn't happy. he had to leave his friends n school n all that shit. he goes to a beach party w/friends and sticks up for a cute girl but her ex (johnny lawrence) ends up beating his ass and makes a fool of him cause johnny has like,,,, Actual teaching about karate n shit but daniel doesn't. he eventually becomes friends w/the handyman for the apartments, my miyagi who's a first gen immigrant from japan. stand in dad that becomes Real Dad (he doesn't get w/momma larusso but does start to become danny's actual father figure.)

eventually danny goes to another fuckin party (you think he'd learn to keep to himself) after being bullied by johnny and his friends. he goes to the bathroom and hides as soon as he sees Da Cobras (just four other guys that go to cobra kai dojo lol) but eventually takes a hose and sprays a buncha fuckin water on johnny while he's holed up in a stall tryna roll a joint. obviously, johnny gets fuckin pissed and they end up chasing danny throughout town. mr miyagi sees this, intervenes, and ends up beating children's asses

one of johnny's friends ends up with an Arm Hurty so you see it in a sling for a while but it heals back up, nothing major

anyways, daniel gets all fuckin Angry Crying about how they know all this karate shit and how he doesn't so that means he's always gonna lose (granted, he could just,,,,,,, not provoke them like in the bathroom scene) so they go down to the cobra kai dojo and it's too expensive for just his mom to pay for. kreese is the teacher and he has a bunch of special forces vietnam paraphernalia n medals of honor n shit hanging up from his glory days(he doesn't say it outright but this man is RACIST i fucking KNOW IT) so miyagi goes to him n asks for a peace thing. daniel can learn w/them and they'll leave him alone but kreese just kinda laughs. an under 18 tournament is goin on so miyagi proposes that he'll teach daniel himself to go up against kreese's students but in exchange, these kids have to fuckin leave danny alone to train.

kreese likes Challenge so he agrees, fully getting a weird boner for "oughhhh yeah we're gonna fuckin break this kid's ARM"

daniel says WHAT THE HELL, MAN and miyagi makes him do a buncha chores for him night n day for muscle memory that'll help w/certain Schmoves. very cheesy but vv good. when danny gets fed up w/it, miyagi just fights his bitch ass n what daniel's been doing has been defense adjacent so he's able to finally act kinda competently in this sorta fight. lotsa training n stuff but just know eventually there's passive racism towards miyagi and he almost throws hands and tells them to fuckin get their bitch asses outta his sight. but the whole deal w/miyagi is that he's been in war so he no longer wants to be aggressive or offensive, his whole thing is defense only

best defense is No Be There. get outta that place before anything can start lmao, thats the first tip because OBVIOUSLY danny cannot leave people alone

i love him but damn, where's he gettin all this fuckin confidence from jfc

eventually miyagi opens up to danny about how he was in the military for ww2 and how he lost his late wife and child while they were in internment camps. it's really heavy, actually

it turns out miyagi still has the note breaking the news to him and daniel finds it in his house after miyagi falls asleep

he keeps his medal of honor and all pictures hidden away, he fuckin hates those memories. it's a really good foil for kreese and the writing is fuckin GOOD

when daniel turns 18 i think? the wiki says that but it's also publicly edited so i'm assuming the tournament is for people younger than 18 and people who are eighteen kinda like,,,,, the uhh less than Or equal to sign in math

ANYWAYS, WHEN DANNY'S BIRTHDAY COMES, MIYAGI GIVES HIM AN ACTUAL GI

it's very sweet

he also gives him one of the cars he fuckin polished for hours and hours and hours because miyagi already has a bunch of older ones he's working on

danny ends up taking his Love Inch Rest to the boardwalk or somethn with it and finally doesn't feel embarrassed to be w/allie, someone who you can tell comes from a middle class family

honest to god this movie touches on subtle classism too and it hits Too close to home

0/10, him interacting w/allie's parents feels TOO MUCH like when i, a colored poor child, met the parents of my friends, well off white people

there's a whole woaghhhhh love triangle for allie, him, n johnny but honestly it just feels gay

anyways, allie is late to their date so daniel goes to the country club thing through the back and kitchens and he sees johnny kiss her, he bumps into someone w/Spaghet and he's just,,,, on the floor covered in it and his white shirt is fucking ruined. he runs out of there crying while allie tries to explain that it Actually wasn't what it looked like

anyways, the tournament comes up and daniel rises through the ranks etc etc, he starts getting nervous because he'll have to beat bobby n johnny (they're gay 'friends' <33) and oh god that's fucking INTIMIDATING

kreese forces bobby to do an illegal move to fuck up daniel's leg and that forces bobby to get dq'ed for something he's been working for all year along w/hurting someone he never wanted to really HURT

where one of my favorite scenes comes from because that scene says SO MUCH even if you don't watch ANY of the rest of the movie

like, bobby is always the one to tell the others off when they're starting to seriously harm danny. he mediates n tells tommy off when he tries to bait johnny into responses. he doesn't want any SERIOUS harm to come to danny or anyone they make fun of, so kreese forcing him to fuck up daniel's leg and bobby listening anyways says,,,,,, a Lot. because he's scared of kreese and what he'll do if he doesn't listen. i'm not making this up, kreese is canonically abusive and the opening to the sequel takes place right after the tournament and it's really upsetting to me lmao

he puts johnny in a chokehold and smashes his fuckin hand through a car window, breaks the second place medal in fuckin throws it out into the rest of the parking lot, and miyagi has to step in yet again

BUT THAT'S THE SECOND MOVIE

anyways, daniel still continues on after bobby hurts his leg which was SUPPOSED to take him out of the fuckin tournament. and neither him nor johnny can get the upper hand on the other but eventually after Woaghhhh Build Up, danny beats him

and then johnny does genuinely go " you're alright, larusso" while handing him the medal/whatever thing

and a lot of people forget about that scene

like, that part of it

johnny's a sore loser but not that much of a sore loser and by the end of the movie, he didn't fully hate daniel
