i think steph had to have a big conversation with bruce and barbara about using tiktok as spoiler. bruce gave a blanket "don't use it" which was not helpful, but babs showed her how to do it safely. you know. without metadata causing issues, not allowing people to triangulate locations that mattered using background information. she now follows a strict set of rules to make content that is very silly. she sometimes gets serious and shares stories about what's happening, causes that are important to her, etc. but mostly it's like her doing parkour, maybe a snippet from a fight she feels overly confident in (RECKLESS) as a psa to not do bad things or you get wrecked, pranks on people, a video of her dropping her phone from atop a building and screaming. the usual.

DURI

mostly music. original, covers, snippets about their work process, commentary on the scene. they have a big following on tiktok, at least for the local music scene. they raise awareness for local events and charities because they are big on community in their area of gotham. they tell stories about living in poverty, being korean-american, being queer, and how that interplays with being in the music scene. they went viral for talking about their stalking experiences, which has them a bit miffed that that's what they're known for, but it at least gave their band some exposure.

BECKY

also went viral for talking about her experiences with the scarecrow stalking her. she details the aftermath of what happened once the papers stopped following her story, when batman stopped intervening because enough time had gone by. she relays how this influenced her decision to specifically hone in on becoming an assistant district attorney, specializing in prosecuting masked "super" criminals. i also imagine she does a lot of funny lawyer content like user rebmasel on tiktok, where she reads court transcripts from local trials. she raises awareness for the political process in gotham and why people should be involved in order to make gotham better, to root out corruption. she does not feature any content with jonathan or any other rogues she is friendly with - she cannot let it get out to the D.A.'s office just how involved she is with rogues on a personal level. sometimes tommy makes a small appearance, but he isn't well-known enough for this to be a problem if he isn't featured heavily.

The Five of Eden usually makes my day, mainly with the idea of them growing up.

Anya falling harder for Damian, Emile and Ewen being besties and being practically two clowns-one braincell, Becky and Damian being besties and gossiping about other students, Emile being the worst at love and things like that, etc.

But right now I just thought about one being kinda funny, and that's about Becky being a mini-celebrity on Eden, almost a urban legend. I mean, they are like, twelve at this point, they have the hormones on TOP normally, and Becky? Becky writes smut and romance, and put it on the librery thinking NOBODY ever will find them.

Big mistake, because some girls from Cecille Hall ending up finding the fanzine and being THEY BIGGEST fan. So now, she is like that chicken from Beastars that sells they eggs to school, but being on the same literature club that those girls.

The only person of the school that discover this, of course, is Anya, because she find her putting a new story on the bookshel (in secret, because Henderson confiscated the fanzine from the girls and gave a long talk about erotic literature and how such behavior will not be tolerated at school.) and she can't hide it anymore.

So yeah, it would be funny think about Becky like Mei under her bed WRITING SMUT LIKE:

Bonus: Anya wants to kill her when she finds out that, Roid Frojjer, an scandinavian doctor that fell in love with Judy Mantel, a rich girl with a ponytails and blackhair that wants to manage the hospital, which develops a series of love-hate between the two (that mostly end in they kissing eachother or straight to the point, because Becky loves PWP)

Of course that novel ended up pretty quickly when Anya find it, and Becky was forced to write about something else...

Like Demian, a prick with a golden heart, falling in love with his coworker, Anastasia, a dense but pretty girl who is obsessed with aliens.

I want to scream because I chose Right Now to yap about more random headcanons. I won't be covering extreme meta at the moment, as it is late and the words simply aren't flowing which is ironic the more you think about it lmao but anyway;

I wanted to cover something I'd mentioned in a previous post - where I mentioned how Becky is in fact, Afro-Latina even though she's adopted and couldn't possibly be the same race too. This is where you're wrong- other than the fact that adoptees can in fact be the same race as their adopters! Though I'm getting way off track, meows.

Anyway, to get to the point - Becky, I mean Wordgirl is an alien obviously which is how I got this silly, little headcanon: Lexiconians have a cloaking ability which allow them to look a certain way, depending on the eyes of the perceiver. Hence why Becky looks Afro-Latina since her family are! Granted because she's a parody to Superman - she just Looks Human, but at the same time... grrr. She should've had more blatantly obvious alien traits because I said so, this is canon now.

The fact I went off on a tangent is so funny, to be honest but okay, I can't help wondering a lot of things about the Wordgirl canon and if anyone is still interested in my nonsense - once it is not almost midnight - I can share more!

Also for those curious, Becky does know Spanish! Her family is very proud of their heritage and taught her, but there's another reason for this- not that I'm sharing it just yet, you'll have to wait and see~

also, my jon is like. 95% sure that batm.an is bru.ce wayne. and becky knows. both by virtue of being close to tommy, as well as the hush plot for jon.

for becky, this isn’t really a problem. she ain’t no snitch and he helped save her back during the initial incidents with jon, she’s not going to say anything to anyone ever. it would also betray tommy’s trust, which she would Never.

jon has never had it confirmed to him, but like. he’s not dumb. why would tommy give a shit about b.atman if he wasn’t br.uce wayne. make it make sense. jon knows a lot about tommy’s trauma; he was literally tommy’s psychiatrist when tommy had his first mental breakdown where he delusionally began to think bruce was persecuting him.

THING IS……. tommy matters to jon more than he would ever be willing to say aloud. that’s his surrogate son. and he knows if he ever targeted BW instead of the bat directly, letting tommy know that He Knows and was using that information, it would….. irreparably harm their relationship. jon knows this. tbh he doesn’t care that much about bruce to target him unless it was relevant for some other reason. if not for tommy, though, he probably WOULD use that information against bruce. but. alas.

by association, he also kinda has an idea of who batfam members are. but like. he chooses to not seek out further information on this because he also feels like it could also end up being more harmful than good to know more kanfkdj

Headcanons for Sally's family?

Ooh, kinda?

I haven't explored her side of the family yet, but I do think I can work with it more since I have it in headcanons that her family is prominently Hispanic so that means I can put down some more concrete lore.

Sally's full name before she took the Botsford name was Sally Isabelle Lopez. Her parents are from Mexico, more northern. They moved to Fair City around the late 50s when they were expecting Sally and also because they already had family there. Sally grew up relatively happy and supported by her parents, being a go-getter organized girl from the start (a lot like Becky). She honed herself to accomplish a lot since the rest of her family were wilder. Kind of dubbing her the mojigata of the cousins, which she did get made fun of for by the rest of them. One of her cousins was jealous of her though, since being the oldest (and in culture the one whom the family depended on since he's the boy), he was sidelined in favor of Sally since she was so reliable. This, in turn, made her older cousin very sour about her and kind of demeaning to a probably misogynistic way. Sally didn't pick up on it during their childhood since she just thought he was a tough older teen and by her sweet nature, but in adulthood, it does explain why she doesn't seem that much. He's avoided her because of that resentment.

She does have a good relationship with her other cousins, even if they are very chaotic and irresponsible. Those cousins don't live in Fair City. They moved back to Mexico with their parents after some extreme family drama with abuela and her huge inheritance. But of course they visit Sally when they can. Sally, when she was younger, was a straight-laced girl, but she didn't have her typical Sally bubbly social charisma yet. She was actually a shy kid/teen, but her cousins helped a lot with getting her to be more crazy and loose. Taking Sally out to parties or just hanging out.

Her parents are nice folk. They both worked, with Sally's mother being an artist and her dad a defense attorney. Both of their professions ignited her passions in life, but of course, Sally wanted to try more of the lawyer thing and eventually prosecution since she harbors a justice within herself. For most of her life until she left for college, Sally didn't assume anything was weird between her parents martially until news of their divorce reached her. Apparently, despite how happy and cheerful they seemed to her, they actually fell out of love since Sally was little and have secretly been at odds. This shocking news and change is what led Sally at the time to reject Tim's proposals when they were young adults, of course also because she wanted to focus on her career, but then this fear of the most perfect marriage she's known being a facade all her life made them prolong their marriage for a while.

Um, for the names of her parents, let's go with:

-Carmen Isabelle Lopez (Grandma/Abuela Carmen)

-Eduardo R. Lopez [divorced, is now Eduardo R. Lobo]

Carmen lives in Fair City since Sally mentioned visiting grandma's in "Accordian to Tradition", and I don't think it's that far a trip, while Eduardo is probably enjoying retirement in Mexico with his side of the family or traveling.
