usually forgoes his jacket because it just got in the way but he does carry it with him whenever he goes out, rolled up sleeves for the same reason too

SEVERAL BELTBAGS!!! well one containing potions and quills that hangs from his hip and is assisted by a mini thigh belt for practicality reasons only, one pouch to carry ingredients with, and a book/journal hanging there too

bracelets and pinky ring from Aslan!! his charm is a rose dangling from a sun-moon charm :] the ring hanging from a necklace is a silly trinket from their childhood

daniel's still a potioneer in am!au, worry not!! he's one of the best if not the bestest,

he's also just taken on the role of spying on am while also "trying" to convince the others to side with the organization, double agent stuff dwbi

crazy au i had is what if maeglin goes to gondlin, figures out he doesn't like it, dips goes back to nan elmoth and claims it as his own but he makes it an elven realm for all elves to hide and live in (he also allows humans and dwarves).

and then what if after the destruction of dortiath, he allows the survivors in nan elmoth, without knowing the silmaril is there , but he still lets them stay. if he knew the silmaril was there, he would've tried to destroy it out of fear.

also in this au, idril actually leaves with him and stays in nan elmoth becaws as you know, they are close friends in my au. celebrimbor also follows them.

anyway, the sons of feanor come for the silmaril and that actually spices things up.

Random AU :

While helping to clean what's left of the Monastery in FE16, Gilbert finds Cyril pretty pissed because he found the "box with important things" Lady Rhea kept in her room empty, so he wants to recover what was inside ("i'm sure those imperials soldiers stole it!") but, well, he never asked what was inside.

Gilbert only notices a weird thing next to the box on the floor, but promises to help Cyril later on.

Still, he picks up the thing and while he's curious about it, given all the events happening, he puts it in the back of his mind.

One night though, he studies it more attentively (or actually wanted to make space in his inventory) and notices it's a broken toy!

(but missing two wheels)

Cursing the Imperials under his breath for not even having spared children, he imagines it might have belonged to a kid who couldn't escape the assault and tried to hide in the Archbishop's room, only to be found out and, well, neither kid nor toy survived.

However, he notices this toy seems to be old as fuck, and while he only paid regular (for Gilbert!) attention to the monastery's inhabitants, he never saw any child in the monastery play with a similar toy. What was it doing in Lady Rhea's room?

Later asking Cyril if he found the missing wheels ("the what? who designs a horse with wheels?"), Gilbert, again, refocused on the war and his duty and left that mystery aside.

After the Bridge of Myrddin and it's high number of casualties, he felt like he had to "help at least" this "maimed" toy standing on his desk - he made wood wheels himself and managed to find a branch to make everything sort of stand and roll.

When Annette learns about it, she cries to his great dismay, it's nothing - but she tells him it's everything, this war only takes lives, but the sheer act of repairing this toy means so much - there will be hope later on, and children will be able to play again. Her dad might suck at white magic, he can still "heal" things, like toys. Can he imagine the joy on its owner's face when they will finally be able to play with it again?

(even if she thinks it's a bit weird to have a toy designed as a horse with wheels)

Seteth overheard Cyril's quest about looking for Rhea's "important stuff" even if he doesn't know what it is, together they find a slab of wax and a weird golem stuffed thing with a :) face.

Cyril ignore those things, but Seteth guesses those were the "treasures" Rhea stored in that box - under Cyril's disbelief, those are junk, not important treasure!

"Well, I am sure if you gave her something, she would have stored it in this box."

After retaking Firdhiad, everyone is happily, well, taking a rest at GM before going to Enbarr and Gilbert is assaulted by dozens of orphans who are sheltered in the monastery who ask him to "heal their toys". Gilbert only says he is a knight and will help as best as he can, which prompts Dimitri to wonder if he too, can help, before remembering that he still has difficulties to control his crest activation and would most likely break the toys.

Dedue tries to cheer him up, and one of Alois' jokes leads Dimtiri to vow to open a "toy hospital" in the castle when he returns - after all, he can help in his own way, right?

After hearing the story from Cyril about the contents of Rhea's box, Gilbert returns the toy immediately - to a kid's chagrin since they found that horse very neat ("it can roll on the walls!").

Rhea ultimately returns, and, after much consideration, accepts to give the contents of the box away since it's "time to accept the past and move on".

She gives the golem :) stuffie to Billy, saying it was one of their mother's favorite toys and how she refused to sleep without it when she was a child, because Rhea made it for her 5th birthday.

Rhea nearly cries at seeing Lycaon's horse on wheels repaired and thanks Gilbert, before returning it to the kid who was playing with it, telling them the precedent child who played with it told her that horse could fly, and was actually a "dragon-horse".

The kid looked at the archbishop weirdly, before nodding and calling their new toy a "draco-horse".

However, his sigillaria wasn't as popular, an Adrestian orphan managed to recognise a duck on it (this orphan was one of the survivors of the various "weeded lines" over the decades) but still called that thing weird (tfw he didn't inherit the Hresvelg artistic skills) and prefered to play with cats instead.

Little does Rhea know, Archbishop Billy roped Cyril in their plan to give her a new present, a herborium.

They filled it with the hundreds of flowers Billy gave her during their time at the monastery, before the war, and Cyril added the small flowers and lilies he helped grow during her absence.

Rhea's so overjoyed that she cries and hugs them both.

Norman headcannons

In life, Norman was good at doing impressions. This carried over into his cyborg/android design with a program that lets him perfect replicate people's voices.

Building off the above point, Norman wasn't originally the one doing the company tapes. That person asked too many questions and thus were needed... elsewhere. Since he already was discreet and okay with all the shady stuff, Norman was put on voiceover detail.

Norman has/had a bird.

Norman having a bird probably works better in an au, but he has this bird, maybe a parrot, maybe a budgie, and it has a yellow head and its wings and chest are the same color. I picture them as pink or purple, but I'm having trouble finding birds with that coloring. When he meets the bird, Andrew/Morris is chuckling because Norman is wearing a jacket that happens to be the same color as the bird's and they look identical.

Just. Let Norman have a pet bird!

Also I have an AU where everyone is alive and in highschool. In that one, Watchful Eye Toys exists as a research company headed by Norman's parents and he is expected to take it over. (I wanted to ramble about this in the tags but I reached the tag limit so I am adding this back here as an extra bullet point.) He gives off heir to a big company and kind of sheltered vibes.

I always wanted to do a pic when he first got that horn broken lol Wasn’t pretty. Tried 2 versions with the eyes since I did want him conscious while it happened but he probably switched over to feral mode pretty soon after. Was an ugly fight.

Had to look it up to make sure, but horns do very much bleed and do not work like antlers. There’s nerves and veins that run into it and if it’s deep enough into that it will be messy and it will hurt.

I also am gonna say that I’m just gonna be tagging my AU for this just as “Bleeding Magic AU” bc the song Bleed Magic by IDKHOW is one of the reasons I ended up thinking more about his character in the first place and I think it just kind of fits! 😂

Your characters are in a zombie apocalypse. They've already secured food and weapons and a safe zone and everything is going good, so now they can actually think about what to go out and retrieve that will be a fun thing or just something they specifically want to get to enrich their lives. I know that Guzma would put the kids first, but AFTER doing nice shit for them and if Plumeria basically forces him to go get whatever is the thing he wants for himself, what would he get? And what would Plumeria and Leon get?

Guzma:

Surprising many people, Guzma would get himself some sick new threads. Although, when ya think about it, it's not that surprising; he's a show off! His light hair and skin plus absurd height and stature that always turned heads (and once felt like a curse) he now gladly uses to fill his ego. And it doesn't have to be expensive shit, just anything that looks good; anything from suits to street wear. Plus, the way he sees it, surviving a zombie apocalypse don't mean he can't look fine as hell! What was that video game where you're fighting zombies in a mall? Dead Rising, I think? Yeah, just imagine that but it's Guz trying on awesome clothes while seamlessly beating zombies down with a lead pipe when they interrupt him.

Plumeria:

Plums would compile a massive collection of books and other physical media like CDs and DVDs. The preservation of both culture and knowledge is important in a zombie apocalypse! Plus, she gonna need some sort of entertainment to survive safe house life with these numbskulls. Plus plus, those who control the flow of knowledge, control everything. (Not as nefarious as it sounds, at least in her hands)

Leon:

Very little known fact about Leon... he's a major car guy. He doesn't know a ton of technical knowledge about them aside from what can be transferred over about tractor maintenance, but we all know Leon's a fast learner and, if he puts his mind to something, he gives it 120%. But, "why does he have such a fascination with cars", you may ask. Maybe it's just because he grew up in such a rural area or maybe it's from watching hours and hours of Unovan action films, bored, cooped up in the various hotel rooms he frequented in his early days in the league. Maybe it has something to do with how he absolutely loves the thrill of riding Charizard at breakneck speeds. Or, maybe he just thinks they look cool as fuck and that they'll make him look cool as fuck too. Hell, he thought he was gonna drool on himself the first time he saw Guzma on his chopper! But, long story short, he gets himself a car that is fast, strong, and sexy. Yessir, Leon finds and mods himself what is essentially the post-apocalyptic, zombie-killing version of the beloved poekani "carizard".

Catalyst Ivy Warrington in AM!AU !!!!!!!!!!!! like clockwork, hcs always under the cut

if you can't tell just by looking at her am!au ivy stresses about her appearance a lot :']]] she's much much more clean cut, cookie cutter, prim and proper, garden princess... she's gone through horrors at age 11 and this is how she came out everything's obviously okay

Meticulously cared for pin straight hair with not a strand out of place, she brushes it an exact 600 strokes nightly

Her eyebrows are groomed perfectly!!! she has light freckles she covers up!!!!! she has eye bags she conceals !!!!!! she has blush to return a healthy glow to her skin !!!!!!!!! she swears its natural and she'd never touch make up

Her sweater is so very soft and is genuinely such a source of comfort for her... she keeps her posture right and stiff, her clothes are uncomfortable, she's probably getting a headache from that headband, but her sweater's a saving grace

Catalyst Ivy because it's her that ends up triggering every am related plot point... it only made sense, she set off the first thing that set it to motion after all

In AM!AU she presents herself so cleanly because her mind is the exact opposite, her memories are in a disarray after they've been taken out - altered - put back - removed again - returned again after the accident with winnie, yyyyyeah their grandmother isn't very good in am!au and the consequences of tampering with memory is much more clear with our ivy here
