What do you think of the Velvette x Carmilla ship?

Not my cup of tea.

I can appreciate others' works about it- especially if I already like the writer/artist- but I'm Zestmilla all the way.

I enjoy all the different headcanons that people have for Velvette -some are hilarious, some sad, some genuinely intriguing- but at the end of the day when I write I mostly stick with mines, and I see Velvette as a 17-21 years old girl... my Carmilla is always much older than her, and given that I headcanon Clara and Odette (Carmilla’s daughters) as 14-17 years old, it doesn't come naturally to me to ship her with someone as young and immature as Velvette.

Anyway, I find her character interesting, and I have some plans for her that will eventually be revealed in the series to whom "You bring back my Springtime" belongs... for now I just say, her relationship with Carmilla will be quite complex, but inherently void of any romantic feelings.

She was not almost ready, she couldn’t even decide on an outfit or what shoes to wear for their date. Which meant, if she didn’t know what she was wearing then how was she supposed to do her hair in a style that would match.

Iris enjoyed her little bath that got prepared for her just as she liked it. She had so many thoughts running through her head on whether she should continue to stay or not. She was really just trying to focus on making herself look nice.. well, not nice. She wanted to look perfect. This was going to technically be their first date, claiming it as that anyways.

She made sure her fur was smooth and soft. Her hair, she dolled up more to give it a little extra bounce. She fixed up her eyebrows and applied a little makeup. Then she went to figure out her outfit.

She stood there naked in the bedroom as she picked a few potential outfits before settling on a nice black fitting dress. One of the many Tyco had gotten made for her. The final touch was some nice perfume she hoped he would like.

Looking at the time, she swallowed as she was nervous for this. She just hoped everything would go well.
