Velvette's similarities to the Seraphim

Okay so I was watching episode 2 for the 100th time when I noticed something interesting. Rewatching the scene with Velvette and Melissa I noticed that Velvette's magic is strangely similar to Emily and Sera's. When she changes Melissa's clothes her hand glows and she has this trail of sparkles. The noise that is made as she is doing this also sounds similar to the seraphim's magic.

This is similar to how Emily and Sera shape shift and how Sera teleports in episode 6.

There's also this frame is episode 3 when Carmilla gets in Velvette's face she has this peculiar marking on her face.

As you can see, she has this faded white mark on her face. It reminds me of the white mark on Sera's face.

I also realized that Velvette's pilot look, looks very similar to Sera's and Emily's does.

Now I'm not saying I think Velvette's a fallen seraphim or anything, but I do think the similarities between these characters is interesting.
