Allevia Hayfever 24 Hr Allergy Relief Tablets - 7 Tablets Allergy Symptoms - GB Health Limited
Hay fever allergy symptoms can significantly impact daily life, leading to discomfort and irritation for those affected. Common symptoms include sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, itchy or watery eyes, and a scratchy throat. In addition, some individuals may experience fatigue or headaches as a result of disrupted sleep caused by these symptoms. Allergens such as pollen, dust mites, and pet dander trigger hay fever, resulting in an overreaction of the immune system, which can make everyday activities challenging during allergy season.
Managing these symptoms often involves the use of antihistamines, nasal sprays, and strategies to avoid allergens whenever possible. Staying indoors on high pollen days, using air purifiers, and keeping windows closed can help reduce exposure. If you're struggling with hay fever, consulting a healthcare professional can provide personalized advice and treatment options tailored to your needs. This can help alleviate your symptoms, enhance your comfort, and improve your overall quality of life.

oh allergies, I adore you 🥺
(I was looking through my drafts, and noticed I had made two very similar posts a year apart 😂 maybe I should make it an annual thing?)
Essentially, my nose in allergy season is the nose I want all year round! I’m so jealous of sensitive nose/all year allergy people.
Well, feels timely to share as my nose goes back to being boring 😝
2024:
“Some notably fun things to report from this allergy season so far:
I have become a red wine sneezer (!!)
I am more or less a morning sneezer now (I sneezed myself awake today).
I can’t drink ginger beer without triggering sneezes.
On a bad allergy day that becomes any sparkling drink.
I can often induce some stuck sneezes by rubbing the roof of my mouth with my tongue and can help stuck sneezes along by hitching or breathing slowly and purposefully.
On bad allergy days I can rub/press my nose the wrong way and trigger sneezes.
Inducing triggers FITS.
I’m much more sensitive to dust.”
2023:
(lol I was a lot more passionate this year)
“Ok ok, hear me out!
because I’m sick n tired of people not liking allergies more than colds.
Reason #10,000 that allergies are better.
During allergy season, my nose becomes x100 more sensitive, and trust me, I don’t have a sensitive nose. (I wouldn’t even sneeze from shaking pepper in my face normally)
Here’s a list of the weirdest things that have made me sneeze
The wind
Vaping
Rubbing my nose
Kissing someone
Drinking a fizzy drink
Grazing my tongue on the roof of my mouth
Like are you fkin joking me? What does a cold give you? A stuffy nose??? 😤
allergies are ELITE.”
see you next year 🤪
#Allergic nose#Is better than any other#I guess people with sensitive noses are like this everyday? What a life to lead 🤩#Why can’t it always be so fun#I love being sneezy#Fuck the other symptoms#Just give me a constant sensitive nose#It’s like my allergies unlock new allergies#Snz thoughts#annual hayfever review#snzfucker#snz kink#snz fet#snzblr#snz fucker#snz

Mum and I were both remarking how few insects we've seen so far this year. I live in town, but she lives in the country. There's been some flies and mosquitoes, but barely any bees, butterflies, wasps or beetles. No ladybirds or dragonflies either, but maybe they come later in the summer ? I don't think the weather - lots of rain and rapidly changing temperatures - has been good for them.
#bugs#the weather has been pretty unpleasant for humans too#and two of the cats have laryngitis / hayfever symptoms

I WAS allergic to cats, but I'm not a pussy and i powered through it. Now the only time i feel any form of allergic reaction is if i get a cats saliva directly in my eye.
Crazy how the human body was meant to evolve naturally.
#true story btw#we used to adopt kittens on weekends for the local pet store to look after them#and i would always flare up and get hayfever like symptoms#but I didn't care because kitties are great#eventually my body started to get used to cats#and now i have a ginger doofus of my own who sleeps with me every night and i dont have any allergic reactions to him

summary. instead of spending two weeks in a hot country, you're stuck in a cramped hotel with your boyfriend.
wc. 1.3k
tags. richly!gojo au, fluff, slightly suggestive themes but not really you've got to squint hard, swearing once
series masterlist
“i’m literally dying,” gojo whined, falling back dramatically onto the double bed in the room.
you shot him a glare from where you sat on the floor, searching through your suitcase for ibuprofen which you had grabbed in the airport’s pharmacy to help with the searing headache you had. despite his tendency to have migraines that could leave him bedridden for days, gojo had decided not to bring any painkillers just in case and that was just one of many reasons you might be killing him before the fortnight is over. “if you complain one more time you will be dead.”
you were meant to be going on a two week, all inclusive holiday with your darling boyfriend and his mega rich family in a hot foreign country, the worries of college pushed far to the back of your mind for fourteen days of pure bliss.
but fate clearly didn’t think you’d earnt such restbite as upon arrival and taking the mandatory test, both you and gojo had tested positive for covid-19. the light sniffles he had put down to hayfever and the headache you’d assumed was just what came with having gojo satoru as a boyfriend, were in fact symptoms of the illness you both had.
so now here you were: isolating in a small hotel room until your isolation period was up, or you both tested negative. it was sparsely decorated – a double bed in the centre of the room and a television opposite. there was a small open wardrobe where gojo had dumped his suitcase and an ensuite that would just about fit your lanky boyfriend. although not the best, there was some air conditioning as well which made the stifling heat just a little bit more bearable.
the staff had given you a specific number to call if either of your symptoms got worse and food would be brought to you at specific times everyday (not like the usual room service gojo was used to where he’d order banquets of food at stupid times in the morning). there were also the morning tests that you now had to do daily which left you pathetically sneezing afterwards. all in all, nothing that you had expected for your get away.
after finally finding the medication, you quickly swallowed two pills down with a sip of water. the sooner they could kick in and actually do something to help ease your discomfort, the better.
crawling onto the double bed, gojo welcomed you with open arms and you gratefully curled into his side, throwing one of your legs over him. yes, it was boiling and yes, you were mildly irritated with your boyfriend, but you were also in pain and, for all his flaws (which he denied having any), nothing could top being held close by him. the two of you were clingy with each other at the best of times – being ill and feeling sorry for yourselves only made you both worse.
“pass me the remote,” you patted the space next to gojo blindly, too lazy to lift your head to actually search for it. it had now been almost an hour of you two cuddled up on the bed, and for the last thirty minutes gojo had been rewatching the same show over and over. whilst you headache had marginally subsided, listening to the same crappy show was only driving you insane.
“no, i like this show,” gojo whined, swatting your hand away.
“satoru,” you dragged out, muffled as you pressed your face further into his top, “you’ve watched this episode three times, you don’t need to watch it again.”
gojo hummed thoughtfully, running his hands through your hair. it was enough to make you fall asleep if you weren’t careful. “yes i do.”
“why?” you rested your chin on his chest, meeting the gaze of his bright blue eyes that sparkled as they looked down at you.
“because i’m ill.” he coughed twice for affect, sounding as pathetic as ever as he ‘checked’ himself for a fever too.
you narrowed your eyes at him before pinching his side, causing him to let out a small yelp. “who’s fault is that?”
“covid’s.”
“no. yours,” you said pointedly, a little more alert as you relayed all the reasons why it was in fact gojo’s fault that you both had contracted this illness. “i said don’t go to geto’s party, we’re about to go on a very expensive holiday. you said but baby please please please-” you huffed, rolling back onto your back next to him defiantly. “so i gave in, as per, and now we’re–”
gojo brought his other hand to messily pat the top of your head, coaxing you to turn to face him. “i love it when you’re mad,” he was wearing a shit-eating grin that only widened when you blankly stared back at him – your annoyance radiating off of you in waves more powerful than the ones you could’ve been enjoying on the sun-ridden beach. “you’re so sexy.”
“you’re corny. and annoying,” you sat yourself up as you held out your hand, lifting a finger with each complaint, “and stupidly tall, and a pain in my ass… and i feel like you’re not even listening.”
gojo crossed his arms behind his head as he condescendingly nodded along, gazing up at you with a lopsided smile. his top had risen up ever so slightly to expose a sliver of his abs and you hated how attractive he looked when all you wanted to do was throttle him for his childish behaviour.
“oh i’m listening baby,” he encouraged with a teasing tone, tracing small patterns on the exposed skin of your leg. “go on.” there was a fire in his wake, one that no hot weather could ever compare to, not even covid had this much of an affect on you.
“i don’t think i want to anymore,” you mumbled arms crossed as you slowly lay back down and avoided his eyes, trying not to give him any indication that you were a complete fool for his touch (like your sudden bashfulness wasn’t completely giving you away).
gojo was slow with his movements, thoughtful as he dragged his hand up along your thigh, grazing your hips, giving your waist a light squeeze as he traced the outline of your body. your breath was caught in your throat as you allowed him to do as he pleased, all previous grievances forgiven as you watched entranced. gradually, he closed the gap that you had created, shifting his body until he straddled you, holding his body up by resting on his forearms either side of your head.
gojo dipped his head down, lips milimetres from your own that you would barely even need to lift your head from the pillow to touch. his voice was an octave deeper as he spoke. “shame, i was just starting to–”
and then he fell into a fit of very loud and very barky and very not sexy coughs. he didn’t even give you the decency of trying to limit the spread of his germs and buried his head into the crook of your neck once his coughs were over.
“mood fucking ruined,” you hit his shoulder lightly and he babbled something that was completely muffled and only tickled as his lips brushed your skin. “please let me at least change the channel so i die from this illness and not insanity.”
gojo lifted his head up ever so slightly, just enough so that he could peck the corner of your lips and point to the spot next to you. “i slipped the remote under my pillow. tv’s all yours baby.”
a/n. I think this is like the first thing ive posted in almost a month. I MISS YOU GUYS xxx

Mini Hc for an Mc with seasonal hayfever. When spring comes across they have a solid 50% chance to wake up with watery eyes and a stuffed nose. Higher chance to gain it if they hang around outside.
It's not a cold they don't feel sick they just have watery eyes and blocked nose. It's not contagious it's just annoying.
The Arcana Mini-HCs: MC with seasonal allergies
Julian: hang on, he's a doctor, he's got this! ... have you ever heard of a neti pot? it's marvelous for sinus headaches and congestion - oh! and here's some fermented garlic to rub on your feet and chest ...
Asra: you know what, if you're basically allergic to being outside right now, why not change the scenery? time for a spring vacation! will take you on a trip to wherever is least likely to get you sick
Nadia: oh dear, this isn't good. you know, MC, you may want to consider working from home (the Palace) for a bit - and don't spend too much time in the garden, it's boring this time of year anyways ...
Muriel: this man lives as close to outside as he can get. this man also loves you very much. he'll dedicate himself to caring for every unpleasant symptom to avoid any misplaced guilt about it
Portia: she knows she'd go stir-crazy if she had to choose between staying inside and getting sick. she'll end up sewing a cloth face mask imitation of Julian's plague doctor mask to protect you
Lucio: he gets this too but he's in denial about it. will not-so-subtly pump you for different ways you combat the issue so he can try your methods too. happy to take a week off and hole up in an inn for a bit

today is a lot.
first Dad takes musical instruments out of wardrobe in my bedroom. he says they will stay at Gran's house while we are moving house. but i don't need to worry because they are still all mine and not going away. just going on holiday to Gran's house (dad said that 😆).
then a bit later Mum did a rummage in wardrobe. and showed me one of my soft toy animals from in there. and i saw another one and asked for it (with noise and gesture).
he is a big dog with skrunkly face. his name is Scruffy. i put my face in his tummy to smell him. he smells like old books.
unfortunately, there is a lot of dust and stuff all around in the air, and especially in the soft toys. and always dust gives me very very bad hayfever-y reaction.
so already from Dad moving things i had a runny nose and itchy eyes. and then much much worse from put my face in Scruffy's tummy.
and then had to have bath. with all that symptoms of runny nose can't breathe, itchy eyes, dry achy tight throat.
it was horrible. got quite near to meltdown i think.
also already in ME/CFS crash. so i get those type symptoms from that already as part of crash (also other usual crash symptoms. like flush hot face. which is awful because heat is worst sensory thing for me).
so things changing/moving, people in and out of my room, already in crash, dust in the air and in scruffy, bad bad allergic-y symptoms, bath (even more difficult and upset than usual from all this happening).
so much fatigue and pain and crash. feel horrible terrible awful bad.
everything is sensory bad. bad bad bad.
i hate having a body and especially this body.
but at least i have fresh bedsheets of my favourite ones, blue with big bubbles.

Staying vigilant against COVID-19 - Published Nov 15, 2024
Pat Langley issues a personal reminder for dental practices amid a new COVID-19 variant.
As someone who recently navigated a COVID-19 infection, I’m keen to share my experience with dental practice teams. If I can help even one person avoid COVID’s clutches, I’ll be happy! My journey with the virus was a stark reminder that we can’t afford to lower our guard, especially with a highly infectious new variant circulating.
I’m aware that as life has more or less returned to normal, it’s easy to become complacent. The turning point for me came when I was preparing for a long-awaited family reunion. I woke up with mild symptoms of a few sniffles and a bit of a cough that I thought were my hayfever. With elderly relatives on the guest list, I decided it would be prudent to take a COVID-19 test as a precaution. To my surprise and dismay, the test came back positive.
Within a day, my mild symptoms were no longer mild, and I fell prey to a continuous cough, sneezing with a constantly running nose, and almost paralysing fatigue. I was so exhausted that even getting out of bed was a struggle. It was two days of misery before I began to see any improvement.
Reflecting on this experience, I reminded myself just how vulnerable we still are to COVID-19, despite vaccinations and previous exposures. The new variant, more transmissible than earlier ones, does not discriminate. Even those who have taken precautions, like me, can find themselves unexpectedly sidelined by this relentless virus.

Thank you, Apollo, for the health idea ☀️🩺
Barometric pressure fluctuations typically wreck myself and some family members, especially during August and September.
However I recently received the random idea to try taking antihistamines as a preventative on days when the local air pressure is due to change significantly.
This weekend I should be wiped out with migraines and nausea based on the forecast however I feel fine...
I don't experience hayfever and I didn't look up anything antihistamine related however I did ask Apollo for help.
Thankfully the hayfever meds I purchased are cheap and over the counter.
Note: please speak to your doctor for medical advice if OTC medications don't ease symptoms.

cute sort of bf obs because i like him (no sneezing this time but we do have sneeze talk up in here)
we had friends over tonight, we were both sneezing quite a bit during the day (it feels like hayfever season here never ends) but symptoms tend to settle down once we are in for the night
i was feeling a lot better now (because i do take my allergy medication when i should unlike some other people i know) but he was still sniffling and rubbing his eyes ever so often
he was sitting on the and couch doing his own thing (and moping a little bit, because he is still a man) when our friends got here. i got up and i went to go answer the door and he followed me to come say hello once they were walking in (but is still making quite the show of being sluggish and weary about everything)
one of our friends takes one look at him and immediately goes, “woah, are you crying?”
i think she was half-joking (thinking he would make a stupid joke back, as he tends to do) but he didnt seem to detect it and was really quick to reassure her that he wasnt crying. he reaches out and touches her wrist and he goes, “oh, no no no! ive just been sneezing all day. its probably gonna happen again but you chose to come here, so…sorry!”
i lightly whack him on the arm while our friend tells him about how she can endure the sneezing because we happen to have the best flat and the best couch in the group
