But what if... Bad End Husk and Warlock!Khilanna...?
You’ve entered the wrong forest motherf*cker
I’ve had a “bad end” design for Husk on my brain for actual years for if they became an evil archfey

Can I ask which of your characters might get along with Husk? :D
I've thought about this for KhiKhi already, but let's see on the others too :D
KhiKhi and Husk would likely get along like a house on fire, with them both being anti-nobility, and while Khilanna isn't a prankster and Husk isn't a thief, there's good crossover of their skillsets. I don't know if Husk is pro-mafia, but Khilanna would want Husk involved in hers. Hurting the rich, and over time growing softer hearts and eventually helping the poor or their community
Felderwynne would love Husk, and would try to be a good ally to them at the least (eventually blorboing them and providing them with allies and gear)
Delilah... She'd be quiet with them at first, but Husk's whole deal would definitely keep her around, and she'd want to be friends in the end for sure. Hearing of the Feywilds and looking for cryptids and memories together would appeal to her
Tess Saintangelo, my Courier (new Vegas) might not. She'd have empathy for them for their difficult early life, but I think Tess would be a little paranoid about someone who can change their face so effectively. Bad of her? Yes. But in her defence, she's from a setting without shapeshifting as a thing. At least that I know of. And there's the... Paranoia feels like a strong word. Hesitancy about Fey feels apt
Nova would be curious about Husk for sure. She's curious about everyone, but Husk is the type to draw her attention in an anthropological kind of way. Who are they, why are they the way they are, etc. She has to remind herself that she's a person too, not just a witness of people, so she may put Husk off with her demeanor

What kinds of food and drinks do each of your OCs like? :D do your revived/unread characters need to eat? And do they miss it if they dont?
Khilanna loves Tiramisu (the first frivolous purchase she ever made was Tiramisu) and fruity cocktails, though she rarely indulges in either
Nova enjoys Indian fusion food, so curry burritos or naan pizza, that kinda thing. English type teas are her drink of choice, I think
Ayako is more of a (non-dairy) ice cream enjoyer, mostly vanilla. She doesn't want to get called basic for liking vanilla, though :D No drinks in particular though
Karilla, recently not-quite-undead, can drink and get drunk, but as far as food goes: nope. It lingers far too long. She's not had the time to start missing food, but I think she will, given time
An odd one: Obstinance. She's a Tiefling lass who enjoys putrid meat and veg. It's not a hard requirement, but she gets ill after eating too much food that isn't rotten

What are you characters' special interests? Do they have anything they excel at or any hobbies? :D
This is a fun question, if nothing else then to show how much of a workaholic Khilanna is. I don't know if she knows what's fun, at least for her. I think she's the least neurodivergent character I have :D
Nova, on the other hand, made her hobby her job, specifically the collection and animation of skulls. Otherwise, I think she just enjoys hanging out people-watching, and snacks. Like going to various food places and trying what's available, and how different similar foods can be, based on where you get them. People are her special interest, I think. The lives people have lived.
Delilah... She doesn't have a job yet, since she's late teens/early 20s in the capital, which has universal basic income, so there's no rush for it. For fun though? We don't know. It was learning with Mothman, but that's a bust. She's in an unfortunate limbo, to be solved with a game to be played in :D
Feldy has blorbos, rather than special interests. And he's currently employed at Being Dead, though that's always variable with Ahamkara in my setting :D
KhiKhi and Nova both have expertise in Insight and a charisma skill (KhiKhi is intimidating, Nova is Persuasive)
New characters introduction:
Ayako Kobayashi, a noble Tiefling Cleric in the Underdark, loves swordfighting. Sparring, practice with her weapon of choice. It's something she can focus on without her mind wandering elsewhere...
The Street Rat is her pseudo-sibling, not quite adopted by her parents but not quite denounced either. She actually goes by Mirah Keening, and she mostly enjoys pestering Ayako. The pair's parents wanted a true drow to keep the family name going, and Mirah being a cleric of the Patron of Simulacra is fitting. She just wants a bed to sleep in, instead of a street corner 😅

Which of your characters get along with each other best? :D
That's a tough one purely because most of my blorbos haven't met each other :D
Hypothetically, however:
Khilanna and Nova would get along professionally. Like if they had overlapping work - Khilanna needed information about necromancy or a dead person, or Nova needed something illicit - they'd enjoy the allyship and the "don't ask, don't tell" vibe
They're also both charismatic, insightful, and talented folks, albeit with differing methods. Given time together, they'd probably get along well. Hardly a word spoken between them, but they wouldn't need to talk much. Parallel play, or hanging out with a cat in the same room. Is that rude to say when one is a Tabaxi? :D
I do have a wizard that I'm playing around with, figuring them out. Obstinance, a Tiefling. She would get along with Khilanna only if she knew KhiKhi's goals. She's a little cautious of her, I think, but otherwise? No problems. Likely a case of spending time together means peaceful cohabitation

Right back at you, do you have any AUs for any of your characters? :D
I do! A few for a few :)
My first multiversal character was my courier 6, Tess (New Vegas). She's a cowgirl type, revolvers and Medicine Stick, and a prewar scientist. Used to work at Big Mountain before the bombs, got ghoulified, and woke up after a binge to find herself unghoulified. Now she's just going on, keeping on keeping on (and also hiding the fact that she's hundreds of years old, and also English)
In terms of copies, they all share a big transformation type change, southern us accent that's usually fake, and more knowledge than they let on
Like Karilla, a Tiefling spirits bard who died and came back wrong, and whose parent is Sai, Egyptian god of divination. They didn't tell her she'd die and come back, which Karilla's bitter about :D
My hunter in Destiny kinda turned into a not!Tess too, having died and become a guardian, then after a few hundred years, she had a reset, so now she has a past she's forgotten and vague memories of what happened
And Tequila, a Kalashtar Ranger whose drinking problem gave her memory loss, and that's as far as we established because I had to leave her game
Khilanna has a planned Fallout au plot, where she works for House (new Vegas again)
She also has the game I dropped out of, her bg3 campaign, and herself in my setting. She's helping out the players as they deal with a cult based out of the Underdark. Said cult is putting carved gems into people, which gives them a mental link, and a vaguely bad vibe. Definitely not adapted bg3 plot point 👀
I'm gonna do some more in the future, but for now, that's them :)

Hiiiii!! What's Khilanna like? What kinds of things does she prefer to steal? Does she have people she prefers to target? :D
She's a scary bitch (when she wants to be), and not known for her soft side either. There's no soft side to be found, actually. I enjoy women's wrongs, after all :D
She's technically an orphan - her parents died when she was a kid - but that was over 300 years ago so it's not quite relevant :D She stole to survive, learning to go for the rich for two reasons: Fewer people come after you if you Eat The Rich, but mostly because they have more to steal. Harder to notice it's gone, too.
She doesn't know her sister too well - they drifted apart over time. No malice to it. The rest of her family, though? They never claimed her, never sought her out. She likes to take from them, when she can.
She usually drinks her coffee black, to seem harder, but prefers a blended iced coffee. She has a slight bird allergy, getting hayfever symptoms. She likes mimics, for the Wolf In Sheep's Clothing vibes.
Beaches and the cold suck. Sand sucks, pebble beaches are dumb, shivering is annoying.
Not a cat person, but definitely not a dog person. "They have no tact."

Do you have any character romances you're planning or excited for? :D
I try to avoid in-character romances, honestly. Not for any reason in particular, I just don't
That said, I've twice fallen into the trap of "oh, your character like my character? Returned affection!" which is an odd thing I noticed I did
Both are incomplete, I guess, since the first's game is indefinite hiatus (Nophelia - Nova and Ophelia) and the other was in a game the other and I left because the DM and their sibling went super weird

Sometimes I think about characters in situations, as we all do. One such situation is in the ending of my setting, where nothing lives and entropy has fully taken hold. In a time when nothing lives any more, and every star is slowly going out, but faster and faster every day, who gets brought back in the end to see the universe end before it's too corrupted to start the cycle anew?
Who will start the story again, before the book is closed forever?
I've not got much of this planned yet, but I think, at the end of everything, there's got to be a few blorbos. Unfortunately for them, they're very different to how they were.
There's a grimoire card from destiny 1 with a quote that kinda defines this section of history I'm my mind, and I obsess about it a Normal Amount™️™️. "You are a dead thing, made by a dead power, in the shape of the dead. All you will ever do is kill." There's an extra line that's not quite fitting the tone, but still is in my head: "This is a place of life. You do not belong here."
It's about how the Lightbearers in destiny are often reanimated dead, made when the traveller was thought to be dead (or actually dead before its resurrection), and they were made to protect the people, the last living of humanity
But there's no traveller or apocalypse event in my setting. No light or space opera things.
But there are Ahamkara, creatures that exist beyond their own deaths, who perpetuate far longer than they have any right to.
All this to say that Felderwynne is absolutely there at the end, and has the quote attributed to him, but in a mournful tone rather than accusatory. You are a dead thing, a corpse, made by me, the haunted bones of a nigh-unkillable thing, with a life of decay and rot. You need to kill that which would end everything. And he's sorry. Only desperation drives this act, and it will end his existence, eventually. But it needs doing, and they're the ones who were called upon.
#feldy the bitch#in one of his few actually good deeds#a tragic end? yes#but everything ends#and thats always sad#but it always begins again#and that's always happy#khilanna my beloved#is the one who hears him say the thing#and its the only time they ever actually meet#never in their lifetimes#as long as they both are#fey live a long time after all

I'm beginning to learn to do digital drawing so here's Khilanna (my beloved) and Tanya (her girlfriend, a friend's oc)
Their ship name is Warm Winter, after a gay little bit they said on an early sort-of date (Tanya's an Eladrin, and was stuck in Winter for a long time, and she said KhiKhi had warmed her winter some)

Khilanna, my drow rogue, quickly became a favourite over her playthrough in Baldurs Gate
Am I gonna obsessively replay her in various ways? Absolutely, I love her, she's my sword coast blorbo

Au concept: Khilanna Warlock. Who patron? Why, how, etc?

I wanna talk about characters more so I'm gonna mention some and some of their stuff here
Khilanna, originally of Baldurs Gate, then of an Eberron game where she was accused of war crimes by someone who went on to summon a kaiju inside the city she grew up in. Also they disagreed that that was worse and also probably a war crime (undue harm to civilians)(because of the kaiju). She's an immoral thief who keeps what she steals
Raven, a Kalashtar Cleric who follows Misraan, Patron of Half Truths and Deceit. Archfey are referred to as Patrons of their domains, partially to distinguish them from gods, partially because they provide those aspects to reality. Raven helps spread these deceptions and half truths on the material plane, showing they don't have to be evil or criminal. Pranks, and helping folks out of unfortunate situations, that kind of thing
Nova is a Tabaxi bard (spirits) who adventures despite her frailty to find interesting dead, so she can take their skulls and form a Museum Of The Dead, where you can go to learn of their exploits from the horse's mouth

Can I ask about Unknown? :D what's their story??
Unknown is a little Kenku wizard who's... More chaotic than I intended 😅
They're my current Curse of Strahd character, having been roped into the trip as a means of escape, of a sort
They were housed (not adopted, that implies more care than existed there) by an asshole of a necromancer who wanted an assistant of sorts, an apprentice
They learned some magic, picked up some spells... But when they were 16, they came downstairs to find their tutor throttling a girl Unknown's age. They interrupted, of course, bashing their tutor on the back of the head with a nearby implement - something that turned out to be an immovable rod that they've kept with them since
The girl ran, without even a moment's hesitation to give thanks or context. Unknown packed up and followed in her footsteps - metaphorically. They've never been a good tracker, so instead of seeking the girl, they lived off the land, going place to place and avoiding settlements.
At some point they befriended a peculiar drow woman with a less than legal profession, but they found it better to avoid asking questions
They've been on the run for the murder for 3 years, but have yet to actually find out if anyone cares about the dead man
They hold a lot of guilt over the killing of this guy, which attests to their philosophy... Sure he was attacking her, but what if she was cruel? Or he was coerced in some way?
Since arriving in Barovia, they've helped kill animated things in the death house - they never truly loved, so no problem there. They've killed wolves - kill or be killed, yes? They've helped to kill a holy man's son - in a panic, mind. The kid was a vampire spawn, and Unknown has a past with the undead
They managed to stop their companion from killing the Spawn's fiancée though. "The town suffered, let them do justice". This ally is intended to start evil, mind :D
They befriended the Tabaxi of the group, nicknaming them Bad Thief as a joke. They also befriended the Ranger's wolf, thanks to speak with animals. The evil paladin scares them, and they don't know too much about the quiet cleric
They enjoy Barovia for it's high bug population, at least. They don't go without food for too long :D
