DC has an in universe version of Dungeons and Dragons, theirs is Wizards and Warriors, the name is less cool due to lack of dragons but a pass is given because alliteration

Tim canonically plays and has used it to get his civilians friends to help him brainstorm plans without letting them in on secret identity stuff

Tim (not canonically but wouldn't be surprised) plays it with Young Justice, he is generally the DM but sometimes Greta takes over or on rare occasions Red Tornado is available for a one shot campaign, Tim keeps track of everyone's schedules and hosts the sessions at the most convenient location for all of them depending on multiple factors

Bart makes minis for all of them and usually has to borrow dice from Cassie

Cassie has so many sets of dice, Tim funds her addiction to pretty dice because she always gets him a set that she thinks he'll like when she looks for new dice for herself

Kon creates the most detailed backgrounds and is generally the one to bring snacks to the sessions, he has tried cheating rolls with TTK once but he was caught and suffered from disadvantage on all rolls for the rest of the session

Cissie doesn't have the time to play very often but sometimes she'll drop by and be a drop in character that in game has been cursed to be forever lost and wandering so if her character isn't there, it's because they managed to get separated from the group to use the bathroom or something and ended up on the opposite side of the country and it takes them a bit to find the group again

Anita doesn't have time to play very often either and sometimes she has to bring her little parents who Tim lets roll the dice for monsters in the game, Anita's character is charged with tracking Cissie's so anytime Anita's character isn't there it's because they're on the trail of Cissie's character

They have a character ready for Slobo just in case

Greta always plays bard and in almost every campaign her bard has inspired people to revolution and general chaotic behavior, the others almost wish that she'd do the typical seductive bard thing after the third time that she managed to convince a group of goblins to unionize which caused them to somehow be better at their job which was in direct opposition to the party but respect that Greta isn't comfortable with that, she does manage to work in a rick roll to nearly every campaign at least once

I don't know much about DND, but I loved this so much.

YJ missions are already so chaotic. I'm curious what their sessions are like. I also would see them putting some of their missions in their campaigns just to make fun of how ridiculous or whack they were

thinking about wasted potential of post-yj98 greta today. like could u imagine if they delved into how she adjusted to being alive again? if they showed the peeling back of some of the naïveté she had as secret, how jarring it is for her to suddenly be mortal again? that sound is too loud, she gets irritable. that texture was unexpected, she bursts into tears. she only takes showers, never baths. her friends have to constantly remind her to consider other people’s emotions because she’s so overwhelmed by her own. what about the first time she cuts herself on a piece of paper? or when she realizes her clothes don’t fit as well, that she’s getting older? how does her first birthday after being dead make her feel? we could’ve had it all

and Cassie's the dad friend, bart and slobo (rest in piece child) are the kids, Cisse is the cool aunt that would randomly come over and laugh and point and everyone, Greta is the cousin who also comes along with the aunt, and anita is the family friend considered aunt/ sibling.

I think Mark is a loud crier, but not naturally. I think that, when his parents were still alive, he had to be loud just so he could get comfort from them. Later, it became deeply-rooted in his psyche, so he just. became that way.

Rusty-James didn’t learn how to speak properly for…the longest time, so he had to be mute for years. Also, he learned Spanish first, & his peers didn’t know Spanish, so he couldn’t. talk to them. (Steve had to teach him English because of the issues, & Rusty’s way better at it than Spanish, but…every time he gets stressed out, he goes non-verbal for hours.)

Eden has an incredible short-term memory but an awful long-term memory. (True actually! Simple details also randomly stick out to her)

Eden has fallen asleep at their desk while working in the middle of the night (I don't see her doing much paperwork but this would definitely be true, she's allergic to relaxation)

Eden is a horrible liar. (Eh? She's an okay liar. There are certainly people who would be able to see through her, but not everyone.)

Eden has not showered in two and a half weeks. (Its been a lot longer than that. She's often in water for enrichment, which keeps the smell down, but she rarely actually bathes)

Hayes

Hayes bites their nails. (The ones he has left, yeah. But not in front of other people, he's been made fun of for it.)

Hayes gets ready for christmas way to early. (Shockingly no. He'll use any excuse to celebrate but specifically Christmas holds some shitty memories for him.)

Hayes wears Hello Kitty socks. (He doesn't even wear SHOES)

Hayes chews their nails when nervous. (Twice?? works for me, new main habit)

Hayes listens to 80s music. (Yes!! Lots of rock, some rnb, claims to HATE pop from any decade but would throw it back to Kesha)

Hayes does intricate and expensive cosplays. (nooooo...how would he even buy that stuff)

Hayes uses the word "like" like a comma. (when drunk ((often)), absolutely)

Hayes is very willing to eat inedible things. (YEAH. Sometimes its on a dare, sometimes he's just curious. I've said it before, Hayes is a toddler.)

SpiderWeb had a very hard time making friends growing up, the friends Mac did make would eventually abandon her either out of nowhere or very gradually. She would cling to friends and get too comfortable whenever she could, which also landed her friendless.

She was very cautious upon becoming a proxy and tended to steer away from others and always got lonely until eventually, on a walk through the forest, she met Kate. Kate was at first, her animalistic and paranoid self, attacking Mac until she defended herself against Kate.

The two were silent when spending time with one another after that, usually Mac would follow Kate around on patrol and eventually, Kate started walking her back to the main cabin and they became, somewhat of friends.

thanks to @asteritm, I've learned that Eli is very active on snapchat and sends the cutest fucking selfies and no one ever knows where he is at any given time (hopping through paintings, taking selfies where he lands????, traveling through time, jumping locations) and they give very vague responses when asked about it

Since I am the no. 1 Steve Hays & Rusty x Steve enjoyer (source: trust me)…

Due to Rusty’s lack of, well…any family being around, there was a lot of things he needed assistance with. One of these things was hair cutting (he probably tried once on his own & vowed to never do it again after it came out bad).

Anyways, because he needs help with cutting hair (& other stuff), who does he always go to? Steve. Obviously he isn’t a professional with stuff, but he tries his best (& that’s what matters!).

Bonus (w/ Steve crushing on Rusty): He relishes those moments. Being able to touch his hair, do something that feels domestic/sorta intimate…drives him nuts. How he manages to hide it? I don’t know.

He takes the haircutting very seriously. Cuts Rusty’s hair as he likes it (which I think is a kinda cross between a wolf cut and a mullet), but Steve does it to a point that he likes to look at (one of the few times he’s self-indulgent, actually). Thankfully, Rusty likes what Steve does.
