꒰ WC ꒱ : 1,1k
꒰ NOTES ꒱ : So again, minors and fem DNI, you be blocked and blah blah, I'm not in a good mental state to post a long notes, so sorry. The thing I can say is I will try to finish the ask because I am already taking too long, and I will try to finish translating my other stuff to post, I hope this helps me get better, thanks for all the support and enjoy!
You held tighter to the pile of pillows, there was padding everywhere thanks to Zoro's claws that had ripped some pillows and cushions from the nest he built. You thought that nests were things for omegas in fanfictions, but it seemed that in reality all wolves had one. Since Zoro no longer slept in the forest now that you were dating, and you forbade him to sleep in the middle of the woods when you had a house in perfect condition, it wasn't strange to realize that he really missed something more traditional from his werewolf origins.
You helped him build the nest with lots of love, using a small spare room in your house, the two of you were able to build a nest and a small den for when Zoro felt like snuggling, following his instincts in a more natural place for his breed. It was basically a mess of sheets, your and Zoro's clothes, as well as several pillows and cushions to make you comfortable. You also covered the window with black plastic so that it would always be darker and more cozy for both of you.
Usually, you and Zoro just laid there cuddling, especially when he was in his full form. Sometimes you ate and watched movies on your cell phone, nothing too strange or exotic. That was until Zoro finally asked you to marry him and asked if he could mark you as his mate, saying he couldn't bear to go out with you on the street anymore, knowing that you didn't have his mark or scent. After some explanations about this ritual, you accepted both requests with great emotion, deciding to become Zoro's become his fiancé and also his companion.
Since the branding ritual, a deep bite on your neck that bled and left you in pain for weeks, unable to even turn your neck, every full moon, his nest, which was once just a spare room for snuggles, has become something much more… Intimate.
“Zoro!” You screamed his name for the thousandth time that night, your ass was high in the air and if it weren't for Zoro's big hands with huge claws holding you by your thighs, your wobbly legs would have already given up on you.
Your entire body was burning, and you had already cum so many times that your dick was so sensitive and Zoro hadn't even fucked you yet, he was too busy with foreplay. He was now licking your hole like he was sucking on ice cream, sticking his huge tongue so deep you could see stars, you were already drooling against the nest and every scent of your wolf was so intoxicating that you felt drunk and sick from his pheromones.
“Mine, mine, mine” Zoro didn't speak properly during mating season, he usually growled and released small compliments or affirmations of possession. He tried to show all his feelings just through actions, not being able to trust his tongue to express all his desires.
He finally pulled away from your hole, which was now dripping with saliva, and enjoyed the view for a bit. You were squeezing around nothing, and you were stretched and wet enough to take him. Zoro was always twice as careful during the full moon, knowing that for a human it would be much more difficult and painful to take a werewolf's knot completely. He quickly bit your ass a little hard and slapped the other side, then he stood up and leaned over you.
He placed kisses on your back, feeling you relax as he began to smell your neck and hair, making you shiver and let out a soft moan. He quickly began rubbing his nose against the huge bite mark on your neck and licking it affectionately, feeling pride fill his chest knowing that you were completely his and anyone could know that.
“Zoro… Please” you begged whimpering for him, you were already so tired and overstimulated that you were afraid you would pass out before the wolf was able to stick his dick in you. “I want your cock, please, please, I need it so much” you begged him, begged him to finally satisfy you both and not prolong this pleasurable torture any longer.
“Do you want my cock?” He growled in your ear as he grabbed your waist with one of his hands, his claws scratched you and you knew you would be sore all over the next morning. “Do you want my knot? Do you want me to fill it completely?” He pumped his own dick while rubbing the head of it against his crying hole, which was trying his best to suck him inside. Your own cock began to twitch, getting excited to cum again.
“Yes! I want your knot! I need it, Zoro!” You screamed without any shame, knowing that Zoro loved it when you became uncontrollably vocal, shouting how much you loved and needed him “I need you to fill me Zoro! Please! I need your cum inside me!” You cried shamelessly trying to rub your ass against him.
“Shit… You’re my needy boy, aren’t you? I'm going to fill you so good, I'm going to fill you completely... You're going to take my fucking knot and I'm going to fill you with my cum again and again until you're full and pregnant with my puppies” he breathed heavily into your you heard as he began to slowly thrust into you, giving you time to get used to his cock which was bigger and more swollen due to the full moon “You want this, don’t you? Carry my puppies? Being the daddy of our pack” he growled at the idea.
"Yes! I want to! Please, Zoro! I want to carry your puppies! Oh!” You screamed as he thrust harder, shoving a large portion of his cock in at once. “I’ll be a good dad, I promise!” You didn't even have control over what you were screaming and begging for anymore, you just needed him.
“I know, I know you will” You both knew it was impossible for you to get pregnant, after all you were both amab men, but that didn't lessen the fantasy of Zoro filling you up until you were pregnant with his puppies. “I’m going to fill you so fucking good you’ll be dripping”
And when Zoro rammed the rest of his cock in, pressing into your prostate so hard that you came immediately, feeling your legs giving out and your eyes rolling back to their fullest as you could feel his cock so deep and swollen inside you that you definitely had a bulge in your stomach, you knew that was definitely a promise.

ISEKAI YANDERE STRAWHATS X BLACK FEM READER PT 8
Masterlist
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
Law was now fully aware of everything that would transpire over the next 11 days. You told him about loosing his arm, the tonta people, Luffy defeating Doffy and everything under the sun of DressRosa. With this information he seemed unstoppable, he let Luffy take the victory but he was able to lessen the damage to himself and others with your help.
He was so greatful he got to meet you, without you this would have been an even tougher battle for him but when you were in that room you had the spotlight. You clearly dictated where everyone should go and be without revealing their stories to themselves, well to everyone but Law. You had a soft spot for him and you let him know you didn’t want him to be as injured as you seen him on screen.
You were a very caring, intelligent, and lovable person. It was honestly no wonder the Strawhats were so infatuated with you, you were a bubbly girl with soft skin and doe eyes to die for. Spending time with you for a week was everything he needed in order to be fully convinced in helping you get back to your home. He couldn’t help but want to ask you to join his crew but Law knew better than to do that, especially knowing what you’ve been through and the circumstances with how you’re even still here to begin with.
The battle was now over and Doffy was going to jail, he was with the crew resting thinking about how things are going with his crew and you on Zou. Luffy and the majority of people were passed out from the exhaustion of the last few days so the only ones he could speak to were Zoro, Robin, and Franky.
“ Traffy have you gotten in contact with your crew?” Robin chimed. That closed eyes smile was obviously fake to him and he gripped the bed sheets a little.
“ Not yet, I’ll just pick up where I left off when I see them. Have you guys heard from the rest of your crew?”
“ Yes, they safely gotten to Zou but got into an altercation with the Big Mom pirates.”
They couldn’t stay out of trouble even without Luffy, how fitting for those who were the main characters of course. What was strange to him though was that you personally haven’t contacted him. You both agreed that when you met up with the Heart pirates you’d use a mini den den mushi to contact him in code.
Something was wrong, but he couldn’t do anything about it and he would just have to wait and see you in person. Asking about you when you weren’t here was a very bad decision. He knew all and well that as much as you two tried to remove the spotlight cast over you they were all slightly still suspicious.
Something definitely went wrong.
You were asleep for what seemed like an eternity. There were so many different dreams all jumbled together, you finally figured out how to control your lucid dreams but they were all rancid in some type of way. You would loose control and end up doing something silly in the dream especially if it was a scary one.
When you woke up you were drenched in a puddle of sweat. How long have I been in this never ending nightmare?
You knew you were on Zou by the way the room looked and how you could hear all types of bugs and animals in the forest. It was the middle of the day but nobody was around. You went to the bathroom to shower and refresh yourself. You couldn’t trust anything they served you. This was only going to cause a bigger rift between you and the crew and it amazed you that they couldn’t see that. Or maybe they did and they just didn’t care whatever it took to keep you complacent was alright with them.
Law told you his crew would be north so that’s where you’re heading right now. You left silently, as silent as you could, at this point you honestly didn’t care if they freaked out on you when they seen you again. You needed to get to the heart pirates and nothing was going to stop you.
After an hour of walking and many jumó scared with frogs you reached their camp. It was never shown in the series but it was a full camp just like where the rest of the Minks lived. You seen Bepo as you got closer and waved out to him. You were finally so close to freedom you could taste it.
You got along well with the crew easily, they were all very intelligent and loving people no wonder Law had them. They knew exactly of your situation and you were all constructing a plan the keep the Strawhats away from you and the camp. You told them how they didn’t even know that you left and they said it was for the best. They would most likely set out an intensive search party for you in a little bit so you would need a very thick disguise to hide your scent from the Minks.
You hated getting dirty but getting home was your priority so you let the crew douse you in mudd and sticks and earthly perfumes. Law should be here soon, and they knew they had to prepare for a battle and to break this alliance.
You didn’t want to do this because The Heart pirates and Strawhat pirates alliance was your favorite part and they also needed this alliance in Wano. You told them this was an alliance they needed to defeat Kaido and Big Mom so if you had to postpone going home just a little while longer you’d do it for Law and his crew. They are the only ones who are truly going to help you and you felt bad that they wouldn’t get anything out of this but two wars they didn’t need.
You were reassured many times that everything would go as planned and the off chance that it didn’t Law and his crew would be your crutch. His hard exterior was completely broken the more you spent time with his crew, he was such a big softy and it was evident in the way the crew respected and spoke about him.
Nami was on her way to your room, her shoulders heavy in guilt with knowing how angry you’d be when you woke up. She knew words alone wouldn’t patch this wound up and you would all be back to square one with each other. When she stepped into your room she immediately noticed your bed was a mess, there were sheets on the floor, and you were completely gone.
Panic set through her, but she didn’t yet want to alert her crew knowing that you might need time before you speak to them so she sat on your bed letting pent of tears run down her cheeks like rivulets. She was so caught up with her greed she didn’t hear the tiny foot steps of the little reindeer approach her.
“ Nami what is wrong? Where is y/n?”
“ I don’t know Chopper, she woke up and just up and left. I wanted to give her time alone”
“ Nami, what if she ran away again? Do you know where she could be? You should’ve told us sooner we need to look for her”
Just as suspected a search party was sent out. They searched high and low and Bepo was on alert the moment his instincts kicked in. They sent you into one of the rooms and you laid silently under a bed covered in mudd and sticks. This felt so disgusting and that’s when it finally clicked that you were really running for your life from cartoon characters. Scary, stupid strong.. cartoon characters.
In this reality they looked just like yours but it was the truth that where your from they are just silly little people on a screen. The fact that they were actually in your vicinity made you shake like a leaf. Zoro alone could kill you with his finger.
Y/n calm down or they will find you. Calm down now.
Anxiety medication would be splendid right now because you couldn’t stop shaking or crying when you heard the voices of the minks and the crew. Your thoughts were nothing but whispers and as much as you were shaking you couldn’t move into a more comfortable position you were stuck there.
When the crowd finally left after searching the camp Bepo went to get you and you crawled into his arms like the broken child you were. Ikkaku took you and bathed you as you cried. You trauma stricken face made her tear up as well and you pulled the heart strings of everyone in the crew. The Strawhats were known the be ruthless and careless but this was extreme. In their eyes they’ve done very little wrong and don’t think that anything they’ve done would in fact traumatize you.
Should we go down the list of what they’d done to you? No, not now you aren’t ready.
Law almost jumped for joy when he seen Zunesha, he was being questioned left and right. At this point nobody was being subtle and he was so irritated and they knew that.
“ Traffy, is that Zou?”
“ Yes”
“ Y/n-”
“ I don’t know. I can’t help you. You’ll see her soon” Luffy spent the last day asking him questions about any little thing, the boy will really talk your ear off when you let him.
Get up on Zou was a mission within itself but they were finally able to meet up with the Minks and the rest of the Strawhat crew with the acception of their beloved cook. Law was also aware of what would transpire with Big Mom soon so he mentally prepared for the next separation of him and the Strawhats.
Once Robin, Luffy, and Zoro were made aware of your disappearance the search began once more. Robin questioned him if he had any contact with his crew and he told her that he would check with them with her to ease her troubles.
An hour later you were found swimming in a hot spring. You were grabbed and kissed and basically mauled by the crew. You made eye contact with Law hoping that he’d understand that you did in fact meet with his crew and the plan was still underway.
After the introduction of the heart pirates to everyone once again you all had a dinner party. You and Law were seated next to each other and you snacked on some fruit that you had thoroughly inspected for a while to calm your nerves. Your head was on his shoulder and his arm was loosely too your side. You found comfort in the fact that he most likely knew you didn’t want to be completely touched by anyone for the rest of the day.
“ How was it getting here”
“ Fine.. until I was drugged and didn’t wake up for like half a week”
Anger coursed through him, how do you claim to care for someone so much but you’d put them in a drug induced coma. The respect he had for both Chopper and Sanji decreased greatly. He needed to get you out of here before the chance of separation came again.
Zoro’s eyes never left you and Law. You’d never been so calm around the crew, he knew everything up until now was probably due to fear. He had no doubt that at one point you thoroughly enjoyed being with them but after what he did to you he knew there was no way for you to do a complete 180.
Was it because Law was someone you liked from the show? Or was it because he didn’t know anything about you and the crew that you felt you can seek comfort in him. His thoughts run rampant in his mind as he continued to gulp down his favorite drink. What was it about Law that he had you cuddled into his side while the crew had just been reunited.
After a few more drinks it clicked a little, the entire reason they even had a search party for you today was because they agreed to drug you and keep you asleep till everyone got back from DressRosa. Could that be the reason you’re clinging to him tonight? Zoro decided it would be best to talk to you privately now before you got any closer with this captain.

Sanji x Reader, Sanji x Y/N, One piece X Reader
Zoro POV…
"Sir Law and Lady Y/N have been seized," Kinemon said through the transponder snail.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" the group shouted in unison.
"Damn it!" I heard Sanji yell from the other end, followed by the sound of crashing. "That’s it! We’re turning the ship around!" Sanji’s voice rang with urgency.
I was about to respond when I heard a marine nearby shout, "Capture them!"
"That’s our cue to go!" I said, making a full 360 around the palace, trying to calculate our next move. "Hey, Luffy! Now’s your chance to find an exit!"
"I’m on it! Let’s go!" Luffy’s voice crackled through the snail, full of determination. "I heard Traffy and Y/N mutter something before they got taken—they might still be conscious!"
"Y/N..." I muttered under my breath, the frustration boiling inside me. "Was this all necessary for the plan?"
"What plan?!" Sanji’s voice crackled back, sharp with confusion and anger.
I braced myself for the reaction. "Her plan was not only to face Doflamingo head-on... but also to be captured by him."
"WHAT?!" the group erupted, Chopper and Brook wailing on the other end of the line.
"IS SHE OUT OF HER MIND?!" Usopp shouted, his voice panicked.
"Mosshead!!" Sanji's voice cut through the chaos, his tone full of fury. "You mean to tell me Y/N planned to get captured?! What the hell are you guys doing down there?! Letting her face that bastard on her own?"
I clenched my teeth. "Listen, curly-brow, it’s not like we’re just sitting back! Y/N’s plan is reckless, but she knows what she’s doing. She’s buying us time... and something else."
"Yeah, well, that something better not be her life!" Sanji retorted, his voice strained.
I could hear Nami’s voice in the background, sounding equally worried. "Why didn’t you stop her, Zoro?!"
I huffed, gripping my sword. "I couldn’t. She had her mind set on it. You know how Y/N is—stubborn as hell, just like Luffy. If she thought this was the only way, then we’ve got to trust her."
A heavy silence followed before Usopp finally broke it. "Trust her? Trust her to what, get captured by Doflamingo and expect to walk out of there?"
"Exactly!" I replied, feeling the weight of my words sink in. "Y/N isn’t done yet. She’s got something up her sleeve. And I swear... we’ll get her and Traffy back."
More yelling erupted over the snail. "What now—are you guys in trouble too? What’s happening?!" Luffy’s voice was frantic.
"We’ve got a huge problem!" Brook’s panicked tone came through. "It’s Big Mom’s ship!"
"What?!" I exclaimed, dodging a barrage of Marine gunfire.
"There they are!" A Marine soldier’s voice rang out, followed by the sound of weapons being readied.
"Damn it, they’ve spotted us!" I growled, slashing through another wave of attackers, trying to make space for us to move. "Luffy, get ready! You need to find a way out!"
"Are you sure? Is Big Mom attacking?" Luffy asked, his voice laced with worry.
"Luffy, we’re in the middle of it here too! Talk and run!" I barked, ducking as another shot rang out.
"Can you see her on her ship?" Luffy pressed, sounding as if he was still running.
Sanji's voice cut in. "Can’t be sure if it’s her, but I do see those two weirdos from Fishman Island!"
"And why the hell is Caesar back on the Sunny?!" Luffy yelled in frustration.
I kicked a Marine hard, sending him sprawling. "It’s obvious, isn’t it? The plan didn’t work out. That’s why Traffy got his ass handed to him!"
"Yeah, we’re stuck with him, unfortunately," Sanji added with a sigh.
"I don’t think we should take Caesar anywhere near Dressrosa!" Nami’s voice came through the snail, alarmed.
"What?!" I shouted, my frustration mounting. "Are you forgetting that Y/N is part of this now?!"
"For once, I agree with Mosshead," Sanji responded, surprising me.
Nami took a deep breath and pressed on. "Look, I’m not saying this because I want to back down. I know you all want to go back and save Law and Y/N, and I know you want to help the little people, Franky. But we need to think this through. If we rush back, we’re going to lose everything."
"Exactly," I added, cutting through another Marine. "There’s more at stake than just Y/N and Law. Doflamingo’s fighting for four things—the Smile Factory, Caesar, Momo, and now Y/N. We haven’t finished our mission yet, and he’s got Y/N, but we still have Caesar and Momo." "If we go back now and give Caesar to Doflamingo, then everything we’ve done is wasted!" Nami said, urgency filling her voice. "Law and Y/N put themselves in this position to buy us more time. I know Y/N—if she got captured, it’s part of a bigger plan."
"Right!" I said, cutting down another Marine as the conversation continued. "She’s always thinking ahead."
"Gotcha, good point!" Luffy responded, determination in his voice. "Just gotta figure out a way to save Traffy and Y/N. What’s the next island?"
"That would be Zou," Kinemon answered, his voice calm but focused.
Luffy made his decision quickly. "Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Brook, Momo—you guys move on ahead to Zou."
There was a pause before Sanji’s voice came through the transponder snail. "Well, if that’s what you want, Captain, then you got it. But two requests first."
Luffy, curious, asked, "What is it?"
"One," Sanji began, his voice more serious than usual, "is to please get Y/N back. And two, permission to fight back. I want to launch a counterattack on Big Mom’s ship."
Luffy grinned, the confidence radiating from him. "Sure, why not! And you got it!"
"I already started that fight anyway," Luffy added with a laugh.
"All of you stay safe, okay!" Luffy said as the call came to an end. The tension in the air remained thick, but everyone knew their roles now.
"Both Traffy and Y/N’s lives are at stake, Rebecca’s wish is at stake, and Doflamingo is behind all of this!" Luffy shouted, a fiery resolve in his voice. "Hang on, Y/N, we’re coming!" He ran through the colosseum, still searching for a way out, determined to face Doflamingo once and for all.
The rest of us pressed forward, ready for the next move.
Sabo POV…
As I moved deeper into the Colosseum, the weight of the situation grew heavier. I couldn’t help but replay Y/N’s reckless plan in my mind. She always had this boldness about her, the kind that made me admire her and worry at the same time. "Damn it, Y/N," I muttered. "I hope you know what you're doing."
The transponder snail rang again, and I sighed, knowing it was Koala. "Yeah?" I answered, bracing myself.
"Sabo, finally! Did you make it inside?" Koala asked, her tone sharp but concerned.
"Yeah, I’m in," I replied, glancing around for any signs of Doflamingo’s men.
"Good! What took you so long?!" she pressed, clearly annoyed.
I couldn’t help but smirk. "Let's just say a beautiful warrior required some assistance."
There was a pause before Koala’s teasing voice chimed in. "Oh, you mean Y/N again, huh?"
My cheeks instantly flushed. "What? I mean, yeah, but... it’s not like that!" I stammered, rubbing the back of my neck, feeling embarrassed.
"Sure, sure," she teased. "So, are you gonna finally ask her for that 'good luck kiss' you keep talking about?"
I chuckled despite myself. "If Y/N makes it through this plan of hers, I just might," I said, feeling a strange mix of nerves and excitement. "But right now, we’ve got more pressing matters. Missions first."
Koala laughed lightly. "You better not chicken out when the time comes, Sabo."
I smirked, pushing the emotions aside. "Koala, I’ll collect that kiss later, but right now... I’ve got a fruit to win." I chuckled before ending the call and slipping deeper into the Colosseum’s corridors. The noise from the arena above echoed through the halls, but my thoughts kept drifting back to Y/N and her plan.
"This has to work, Y/N," I thought to myself, pushing forward with determination. "You’ve always been reckless, but this... getting captured on purpose? Even for you, that’s crazy." Despite the seriousness of the situation, I couldn’t help but smirk again. "Still, you always do have a way of surprising me."
The path ahead grew darker, but I continued on until voices stopped me in my tracks. I ducked into the shadows, listening closely.
"I don’t have time to waste!" Luffy’s voice boomed, frustration evident. "Y/N and Traffy need me!"
A deep voice responded, clearly not taking the situation seriously. "The beautiful princess is here too?! Someone pinch me—this is like a dream!"
I stifled a laugh, recognizing the enthusiasm. "That guy definitely knows who Y/N is," I muttered, shaking my head.
"There’s gotta be an exit! It’s an emergency!" Luffy says urgently.
I was about to step out when the topic shifted. "But, Mr. Luffy, what about the Flame-Flame Fruit?" said the same deep voice, pulling my attention back to why I was here in the first place.
Luffy’s voice turned serious again. "There’s only one guy I don’t want to get that fruit... but my friends' lives are in danger. I need to help them."
That’s when I knew I had to step in. Stepping out of the shadows, I caught their attention. "If you think you’re getting the Flame-Flame Fruit, you’re wrong." I locked eyes with Luffy, my smirk returning. "Sorry, Luffy. The fruit belongs to me."
The guy next to Luffy was instantly on the defensive, coming towards me. "Who the hell do you think you are?! That fruit belonged to Luffy’s big brother Ace—no one deserves it more than Mr. Luffy, and He’s also going to be King of the Pirates, you catch that!"
I pushed him aside with ease, eyes never leaving Luffy’s. "I know," I said, my voice steady. "I’ve known that for years."
Luffy’s eyes widened, recognition dawning. "Hey! What’s your deal? Why can’t I have the fruit?" he asked, confusion and frustration mingling in his voice.
I stopped just a few feet in front of him, pulling off my top hat with a smile.
Luffy’s jaw dropped, his eyes filling with tears. "It’s you!" he choked, his voice thick with emotion.
"It’s been a while," I said softly, smiling at him. "Luffy."
The next few moments were a blur of tears, the weight of our reunion settling in. But as much as I wanted to stay, we both knew our paths were pulling us in different directions. Luffy had to go, leaving me to take his place in the competition.
I watched him disappear into the distance, my heart heavy with memories of Ace and the battles we still had to face. But there wasn’t time to linger. I quickly shed my coat, hat, and cravat, loosening my blue long sleeve button shirt to reveal the "X" on my chest. I donned the gladiator helmet and mustache, completing my disguise with a deep red cloak. Now, I was ready.
Before stepping into the arena, I called Koala one last time. "I’m ready," I said, gripping the transponder snail tightly. "Oh, and I heard Robin’s in town. It’s been forever... I hope I get to see her." Said Koala her voice softened. "I’m glad you got to see Luffy."
I nodded, though she couldn’t see it. "Yeah. I thought he was gonna punch me." I chuckled, though my throat tightened with emotion. "I barely held it together."
Koala let out a teasing laugh. "Are you crying?"
I wiped at my eyes, trying to keep it together. "What? No! I’m not crying!" But it was a weak defense.
Koala’s tone shifted to something more serious. "You’re thinking about Ace, aren’t you? Wondering if you could’ve saved him... if you could’ve been there."
Her words struck deep, and for a moment, I couldn’t respond. The silence between us was heavy, filled with unspoken regret.
"You can’t blame yourself, Sabo," she said softly. "No one could have known."
I took a deep breath, steadying myself. "Yeah, I know." I sighed. "Let me know when you find out more about the underground. I’ll be ready."
"Okay. Koala added, her voice filled with concern.
I hung up, taking a moment to gather myself before stepping into the dome. "Ace, I’m gonna get that fruit back for you," I thought, my grip tightening. "Luffy and I... we’ll carry your will."
With that, I entered the arena, ready to fight for the Flame-Flame Fruit and the legacy Ace left behind.
Zoro POV…
"These disguises are weird, Kinemon," I said, adjusting the toy animal costume we were all squeezed into. It wasn’t exactly the most comfortable get-up, but it seemed to be fooling the Marines, so I couldn’t complain too much. Luffy, however, was having a harder time with it.
"Now, I know the Flame-Flame Fruit will be in good hands," he mumbled through his tears.
"Can you tell us why you’re crying?" I asked, watching him with a mix of concern and frustration. We were racing towards the palace, and this emotional detour was not helping our urgency.
"I never thought he might still be alive," Luffy said, his voice choked with emotion. "I was sure he died all those years ago, but all this time, he was out there."
"Who the hell are you talking about?" I demanded, my patience wearing thin. We were on a tight schedule, and Luffy’s emotional outburst was not helping our mission. Luffy continued to cry uncontrollably, his tears flowing freely. I smacked him on the head, trying to get his attention. "How long are you going to keep crying?!"
"I can’t help it!" Luffy sobbed, his voice cracking with the weight of his emotions.
"I’ve never seen Sir Luffy cry such profound tears; he must really care that his friend is here," Kinemon observed, his tone sympathetic yet practical.
"Yeah," Luffy managed to choke out through his tears. "It’s just—"
"How come I’ve never heard of this friend before? Who is this guy?" I pressed, trying to cut through the emotional haze.
"He’s... my brother!" Luffy finally revealed, his voice barely above a whisper.
"What! You mean Ace is somehow alive?!" I exclaimed, astonished. All those years ago, I thought Ace was lost to us forever. This revelation was mind-blowing.
Luffy, still struggling with his tears. "It’s just like Ace said back then. We may go different paths, but we are still brothers," he said, his voice a mix of laughter and crying.
"Okay, but who is this guy?" I asked again, trying to clarify despite Luffy’s continued emotional state.
Y/N POV…
Groaning, I felt as though I'd been run over by a freight train. Cold water hit me with a jolt, soaking through my clothes and causing my body to shiver uncontrollably. I struggled to move, only to find that my wrists were shackled tightly to the arms of a chair.
"What the hell...?" I mumbled, disoriented and trying to process my surroundings.
Doflamingo’s voice, laced with malevolence, cut through my confusion. "Ah, Princess, you’re finally awake," he drawled, his presence looming menacingly. Fujitora sat beside him, observing with an inscrutable expression.
"I hope you don’t mind. I took the liberty of hastening things along," Doflamingo said with a taunting grin. The cold water had only added to my discomfort, and I could see the malevolent satisfaction in his eyes.
"You bastard!" I shouted, struggling against the restraints.
Doflamingo’s laughter was chilling. He moved closer, his gaze fixed on me as his hand traced dangerously close to my neck. "Ah, still with that fiery spirit," he purred. "It makes me desire you even more."
I tried to push his hand away with my shoulder, my irritation boiling over. Before I could respond, a sharp crackle interrupted us as a subordinate’s voice came through a transponder snail. "Cyborg Franky is trying to breach the main entrance of the toy factory!"
"Franky!" My heart raced. "Phase 2 is underway. Luffy will be here soon."
Doflamingo’s attention shifted to Fujitora. "This chaos is unacceptable. This nation is affiliated with the World Government. You’re supposed to assist me."
Fujitora gave a curt nod and stood up. Doflamingo’s focus returned to me, his smile predatory. His gaze landed on the heart-shaped necklace Law had given me, and he reached out, his fingers playing with it.
"Who gave you this necklace?" he demanded, his tone cold and commanding.
I stayed silent, defiance clear in my eyes. Doflamingo’s patience snapped. He grabbed my chin forcefully, making me look directly at him. "I’m not asking again. Who gave you this necklace?"
I remained mute, and his anger boiled over. With a violent yank, he tore the necklace from my neck and threw it against the wall. The chain snapped, and the heart shattered into 2 pieces.
"Think you can defy me even from beyond the grave, Rosinante!?" Doflamingo hissed, his voice filled with rage.
I glared at him, trying to stay composed despite the chaos. "No matter," Doflamingo continued, regaining his smug demeanor. "Princess, I think it’s time we get you out of these wet clothes." His fingers trailed over the fabric of my mesh top, and I tried to shrug him off.
Then he gripped my left shoulder and dug his fingers into the bullet wound, causing a sharp, searing pain to shoot through me. "Ahhh!" I cried out.
Doflamingo’s smirk widened, clearly pleased with my reaction. He picked up another transponder snail and spoke into it. "Baby 5, prepare the princess for me."
"Why should I?" Baby 5’s voice replied, tinged with annoyance.
"Because I need you to," Doflamingo said smoothly. "The young master… needs me... Alright, I’ll be up shortly!" Baby 5 responded before hanging up.
As I tried to steady my breathing, I noticed that despite being shackled and soaked, my rings and anklet were still on me. Along with the weight of my bracelet. It was a small comfort amidst the pain. However, my swords were nowhere to be found.
Doflamingo seemed to read my thoughts. He leaned in, his grin widening. "If you’re searching for your swords," he taunted, "good luck trying to find them. I’ve hidden them very well."
I stared at him, my mind racing. "How... how did you.." I said, struggling to understand.
Doflamingo’s eyes gleamed with dark amusement. "Oh, I have my methods," he said cryptically, as he slowly traced a finger from my collarbone up to my face, making my skin crawl. His attention shifted as the video transponder snail flickered to life, broadcasting the fight in the colosseum.
"See that old man? Your granddaughter sure is lucky, if I do say so myself, King Riku," Doflamingo said menacingly, his words dripping with mockery.
"King Riku?" I thought, my mind racing.
"Who would have thought this would become a family affair, interesting," Doflamingo continued. "What happened? Willing to drop some elbows for a devil fruit? Oh, how the mighty have fallen."
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a shadowy figure in chains, dressed in a gladiator outfit. "Was he also in the tournament?" I wondered, watching him carefully.
"Your family has been acting a little off today," Doflamingo sneered. "And that includes sweet little Violet’s betrayal. I don’t believe in coincidences, so, is this some kind of coincidence?" He taunted King Riku, stepping closer to the deposed king.
King Riku began to explain why he had entered the tournament, and my heart tugged at his words. "This poor king, he really was trying to protect his people."
Suddenly, Doflamingo’s attention shifted again, this time to another figure I hadn’t noticed before. He stepped in front of a chained and unconscious Trafalgar Law. "She put so much stock in this rookie, and look what’s become of him—Trafalgar Law," Doflamingo said smugly. Law was bound by seastone shackles, slumped in a chair.
"Law!" I cried, my heart racing. "Law, please wake up!" I struggled against my own restraints, my chains clinking as I rattled them. I caught a glimpse of his face—still unconscious. "Law..." I whispered, my voice barely audible as Doflamingo loomed over me once more.
I instinctively tried to kick out at him with my right leg, but it barely moved. I felt the tug of something hard restraining me further. "Princess," Doflamingo said, amusement playing on his lips, "you didn’t honestly think I’d leave you with just chains, did you? Not with that monstrous kick of yours. My strings control everything."
"Damn it!" I thought, frustrated that I hadn’t realized my legs were bound too.
Doflamingo continued to taunt me, his voice full of derision. "And what about that boy, the one who became famous with demon blood in his veins? How pathetic, thinking they could defeat me."
I laughed in response, despite the fear gnawing at my insides. "That’s where you’re wrong, Doffy," I said defiantly. "My captain will defeat you, because he’s going to be King of the Pirates!"
Doflamingo’s face twisted in anger. Without warning, he reached for my throat, his hand tightening around my neck, cutting off my air supply. I gasped, struggling to breathe as his grip constricted. "Naughty little princess, aren’t you?" he growled through gritted teeth.
Just as I felt my vision begin to blur, Baby 5 burst into the room. "Young Master! I’m here! You needed me?" she chirped, her eyes gleaming with eagerness.
Doflamingo smirked and finally let go of my neck, allowing me to gasp for air, coughing as my lungs burned from the sudden intake of oxygen. "Take the princess to my quarters and get her ready for me," he ordered coldly.
As Baby 5 moved to drag me away, I choked out, "Wait!" My voice was hoarse, my body trembling. "I’ll make you a deal."
Doflamingo raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And what deal could a captured little princess like you possibly offer me?"
I swallowed hard, trying to steady my racing heart as Doflamingo’s smirk widened, his dark amusement never wavering. I knew I had to play this carefully, or everything would fall apart.
“We can continue playing this game of chase,” I said, my voice slightly hoarse but defiant. “If you can catch me, then you can do whatever you want.” I saw his eyes gleam with interest, and I sensed the desire in his tone before he even spoke. “But,” I added, my voice firmer now, “if I win, you let Law go. No tricks, no strings attached.”
Doflamingo chuckled darkly, stepping closer until he was mere inches from my face. “Oh, Princess,” he said, voice dripping with malicious glee, “you think you can outsmart me? That you can run from me?” His fingers trailed along my cheek, sending a shiver down my spine. “You’re more fun than I thought.”
I clenched my jaw, meeting his gaze unflinchingly. “It’s your move, Doffy. But remember... if I win, Law walks free.”
For a moment, the room was filled with tense silence. Then, Doflamingo stepped back, letting out a low, dangerous laugh. “Alright, Princess, I’ll play your little game. But if I catch you…” His voice dropped, thick with sinister intent, “You’re mine. No more negotiations.”
I swallowed my fear, knowing that I had just gambled everything on this.
Suddenly, a subtle shift in the air made my pulse quicken. “Phase 3 is in motion,” I thought, feeling a rush of adrenaline as I prepared for the next step. Time was running out, and I had to move fast.
The challenge was set. Now, it was time to see if I could stay one step ahead of the devil himself.
Zoro POV…
We finally made it to the palace steps, but it felt like a damn maze to get in. "There’s going to be a lift just ahead!" said the little fairy perched on my shoulder.
"Okay, listen, the palace, the toy house, and the tree port where the Smile factory is—they’re all connected," she continued.
"So that means Traffy and Y/N gotta be at the top floor!" Luffy exclaimed, already fired up.
"That’s right," she confirmed, nodding. "To get access to the factory, you need to either pass through the palace or enter through the toy house."
I adjusted the little fairy on my shoulder, feeling her tiny hands grip my hair for balance. "I can’t wait to see you guys!" Luffy grinned, bouncing with excitement.
"We don’t show our faces often, the only people allowed are the Straw Hat crew and Usoland," she said casually.
"Uso-what?" I frowned, not sure if I even heard that right.
"There’s no time to explain all the details! Operation SOP is underway. You can see it there—that’s the lift entrance to the palace I was telling you about," she pointed ahead. "Only problem is, we need a passcode to get in."
"We can just kick their butts!" Luffy said, ready to swing into action.
"No! You do that, it’ll draw unnecessary attention to us," the fairy snapped back, her wings fluttering in annoyance.
"What’s so wrong with that?" Luffy muttered under his breath.
"I’m stuck with a blockhead who gets lost and a simpleton who believes everything is solved with his fists," she said, shaking her tiny head.
"What did you just call me?!" I growled, clenching my fist in annoyance. This little fairy was really starting to get on my nerves.
"Somebody's there," Luffy said suddenly, drawing our attention.
A woman on a toy horse appeared from the shadows, her eyes sharp as they landed on Luffy. "Are you Straw Hat Luffy?" she muttered quietly.
"Yeah, what of it?" Luffy replied without hesitation, earning an annoyed groan from both me and Kin’emon.
"Don’t just tell her that!" I snapped, glaring at him.
The woman dismounted, revealing herself fully. "Come with me. I’m here to guide you to the palace," she said, stepping closer.
As she removed her cloak, the realization hit me like a punch to the gut.
It was Violet.
“It’s great that you want to help and all, but do you really think you can pull this off?” I asked Violet, trying to assess the situation.
“Don’t worry, I have the pass that you mentioned,” Violet replied, glancing at the door. “But you should take another route instead. Although the lift will take you straight to the palace, you’re still at risk.”
“Let’s go back to Plan A, then,” Luffy said enthusiastically. “Let’s kick ass and get to Y/N and Traffy!”
“That won’t do!” I yelled, frustration clear in my voice. “And more importantly,” Violet interjected, “you look suspicious.”
“Madame, I am offended,” Kinemon said, taking a defensive stance.
“Wait, come to think of it, aren’t you the one who lured our idiot cook earlier?” I said, narrowing my eyes at Violet. “Did you by any chance give Sanji the map of the toy house? How did you acquire it?”
“I was one of Doflamingo’s subordinates,” she confessed.
“She was only pretending to be a bad guy!” the little fairy chimed in, her voice filled with a mix of relief and urgency. I looked up at the palace, the weight of our mission pressing heavily on me. “We’re close. Y/N, just hold on a little longer.”

Zoro X CisFem Reader
1
It had been a long time since you'd even visited your home town. College and then running one of the foreign branches of the family business kept you away and plenty busy. Recently your adopted father was diagnosed with cancer and the family decided it would be best to send a trusted friend to take over your branch while you moved back home with your brothers to help take care of the old man. It was extremely hard for you to accept that he wouldn't be around forever, and you were only in your early thirties, too young to say goodbye to your only parent.
Stepping off the train platform your eyes combed the small crowd awaiting arrivals until you spotted a familiar tuft of blond hair. His lopsided smile grew when he caught sight of you.
"My twin!" you called wrapping your arms around his neck.
You weren't actually twins or even related by blood, but you were close in age and your birthdays were in the same month, so they were always celebrated together. You'd known Marco since the orphanage, he refused to be separated from you which deterred a lot of potential parents until Pops came along.
"I missed you too, yoi." he murmured returning your embrace, "Are you ready to see the babies?""Yes!" you practically squealed, "I can't believe they are all men now."
'The babies' was an annoying term of endearment you had for your three younger brothers. They hated it, so of course it stuck.
"Luffy just started second year at uni, Sabo aims to graduate in December and well you know Ace wasn't cut out for school, so he's been helping Thatch and I run things." the blond explained ushering you into his truck.
"I'm so excited to see everyone." you breathed, "How's Pops?"
"He has good days and bad days, yoi," he glanced at you with a soft smile, "today's a good day."
It was just a fifteen-minute drive to the house you more or less grew up in. The willows that lined the long driveway had gotten fuller in the time you'd been away, and the breeze here always seemed sweeter.
"I'll grab your bags, you can head inside, yoi." Marco instructed.
You hopped out of the truck and made your way up the path that led to the from porch. A mixture of excitement and nerves churned in your gut. You were ready to be reunited with your family but also nervous to see what state your father might be in.
Before you could even get to the first step the screen door burst open slamming against the side of the house as your youngest brother threw himself at you.
"F/N!" he cried tackling you to the ground.
"Oi Luffy!" another voice called from the house.
It was too late of course, you were flat on your back with your little brother wrapped around your torso.
"You could have seriously hurt her. F/N is no spring chicken ya know." Ace scolded pulling the youngest away from you.
"You really shouldn't point out a lady's age Ace." Sabo added sauntering up to help you off the ground.
"My babies!" you squealed grabbing all three males.
Ace and Sabo groaned hugging you back stiffly while Luffy chuckled and nuzzled into you.
They hadn't changed one bit.
"Quit hogging F/N!" you heard Thatch call from the porch.
No one made you feel as loved as this group of idiots. You released the younger brothers and bounced up the steps to the brunette.
"It's so good to see you. How many years has it been?" he stepped back to look you over.
"Eight." you replied sheepishly, "Sorry it took so long."
"You're a busy woman, don't worry about it." he opened the door for you.
"Do I hear my lovely daughter?" your father's deep voice rumbled through the house.
"The one and only!" you chimed back making your way to the den where he spent most of his time.
Pops sat in his big leather armchair situated so he could see the entire room, including the perfect view of the back yard through the large bay windows that lined the wall in front of him. He smiled so wide the corners of his eyes crinkled as you entered the room. You let out a soft sigh, relieved that he didn't look as ragged as you'd imagined.
"Well don't you look handsome." you smiled leaning in to kiss his cheek.
A soft chuckle rumbled through his chest, "Too kind as always lass."
"How are you feeling?" your eyes trailed down the oxygen tubes resting above his snow-white mustache.
"Good enough to give these lads a good whooping if needed." his huge callused hand moved over yours.
You sat with Pops in the den catching up until the sun went down. Most topics were light, memories of your childhood, comparing your younger brother's antics to you, Thatch and Marco.
"So tell me F/N, when do you intend to settle down and give me some grandchildren?"
You frowned.
"C'mon old man. I know you wouldn't be having this conversation with Thatch or Marco."
"Only because no one will want kids with those brats."
"We can hear you, old fart." Marco called passing by.
"I wasn't trying to hide it." Pops called back and turned to you, "You know I won't be around forever and I'd like to see you happy."
"I am happy." you pouted.
"You know what I mean, lass." he tipped your chin up to meet his golden gaze, "I know Shanks will be excited to see you've returned."
"Awe come on Pop's," you groaned, "I'm not going back to that drunken man-child."
"He was the best boyfriend you ever had." Ace commented from the doorway.
"And the coolest!" Luffy added.
"I hate all of you." you grumbled.
________________
Red: Running late!
You groaned staring down at your phone, how very like him.
Red: I can't wait to see you!
Red: ... Please actually wait for me this time.
Me: Just this once and only because you're paying
Red: That's my girl
Me: not your girl sir
With that you slipped your phone into your back pocket and entered the pub. It was rowdy but not too loud. You scanned the room for a comfortable place to wait for your idiot date. Your eyes stopped abruptly at the bar, breath halting as you made very brief eye contact with the most gorgeous specimen the gods had possibly created. Messy green hair complimented his tanned complexion and chestnut iris. A scar cut through his beauty (and left eye) only adding a rugged finesse you were positive no one else could pull off. Before you knew it, you'd floated right up to the counter waiting quietly as other customers stole his attention.
He turned back intending to take your order, right eye widening a fraction as his gaze swayed over your face.
A slight blush adorning his cheeks he cleared his throat, "What can I get ya?"

One Piece Live Action Ep3 Tell No Tales
I'm going to trust Oda in everything now. I'll let him name my child.
Cause Syrup Village was my least favorite story in East Blue arc but that changed.
Like it got me thinking. Oda submits his stories weekly. He's limited when it comes to editing his work. So imagine what One Piece could be if he could fine tune it and has all the time in the world to edit. God that's a tease.
Why is the Strawhat jollyroger Luffy version not on sale yet
I commented this before but I firmly believe that Garp took in Coby because his two grandsons are pirates and his son is the most wanted man in the world.
Merry flashbacks ... I'm not ready for Enies Lobby when we get there
When your captain is all about his dreams and just goes with the flow, some have to pick up the pace.
Love Zoro and Nami just doing it for him so their captain can live freely as he wishes.
Captain Kuro really did his work. I love the changes they made with the staff already being part of the Black Cat pirates.
Usopp and Kaya... didn't expect the escalation but good for him. They were two interesting characters that deserve a little bit of their own story
The dynamic of the three are building and the strawhats that I love are starting to bloom in them
The key to Luffy is always through his stomach
I honestly think Kaya was already convinced. Luffy was damn charismatic in this scene. Talking about his dreams that you just want to give in to his wants. No matter how selfish he was
Glad they had Garp chasing Luffy around. He was an East Blue vice-admiral, I wanted to see him more at East Blue doing his thing
I was thinking that we'd see Arlong near the end of the season. Establishing him now was a good choice. And having him interact with Buggy suggesting pirates know each other was a good addition
The Nami and Kaya friendship was unexpected but I enjoyed it. Nami always built a friendship around other women in the show. With Vivi, Robin, and Shirahoshi. So another like this is quite nice to see.
Koby having a bigger role here instead of saving his next appearance for later was a good choice.
BONUS
My denden mushi appreciation
It coughed! Ohmgod! Makes me think about the den den mushi at Enies Lobby

Ace X S/O: Admiral Partner.
Thanks for the magic prompt, Anon! They requested "a reaction on the monster trio and ace (+ the reaction of their crew, if possible..) with an admiral s/o, and they have a secret relationship".
Read the rest here! Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ace.
Warning: Marineford, but no donuts because this isn't that kind of bakery. WC: 1.55K
“Oh, Mr.Portgas, thank you for saving me, I was completely blindsided (by your naked chest) by the sun! That I missed (your strong arms around me) the reef! And I (oogled your ass) ended up getting stuck in a whirlpool! Whatever can I ever do to repay you for saving me?” Strike a seductive pose and pretend you know what you're doing, despite the masked man behind giving you a thumbsdown. It’s all good, Ace has no idea what you are trying to do either.
Ace is kind enough and the right amount of himbo to trust you, he doesn’t care that the little boat, recently dubbed ‘The Striker’, doesn’t fit three people. Ace felt like he couldn’t just leave you stranded in the waters, he had to help you. Dropping you off at the nearest island, you headed back to the Marine base thinking about the young man who saved you.
You went to the bar that night with a few coworkers, figuring a drink or two would get the chest of your dreams out of your mind. But fate has kinder options when you open the bar door to see the tavern freaking out about a man fainting in his food.
Trained in CPR, you place your hands on his chest and give him mouth-to-mouth… Or a second of lip touching until he rams his forehead into your nose. The subtle taste of fried rice and blood lingers on your mouth long after he wakes up. Recognizing the man as the ‘someone’ who saved you, you can’t help but taunt him.
“Tell me you didn’t do that to catch my attention? Saved me so I save you?"
“There’s an Angel holding my boobs, I’m already in heaven.”
One drink turns into a few, turns into several, to bottles later, you wake up in the morning with a written note, in a doctor’s scrawl, on your arm.
“Sorry for last night, Ace just burns through alcohol, he forgets not everyone is resilient. Here’s my Den Den number, you can talk to him later. (Don’t worry, nothing bad happened.) -M. Deuce"
“Oh, Mr.Deuce, you deserve so many good days."
In the months following up, you get stuck into work so much that most Den Den calls end with you falling asleep before the narcoleptic. Not being able to talk about your job made it vague on both ends, but the subtlety wasn’t lies.
Maybe you were too blinded by his pearly white smile that you didn’t connect ‘Fire Fist Ace’ was the same ‘Portgas D Ace’ you’ve been talking to for a year and a half, until the news crossed your desk that the Spade Pirates joined the Whitebeard Pirates. The call that night was tense.
“You’re a pirate…”
“Yeah, I am… Is that an issue?”
“Oh… No. Not to me. But, I’m a Marine. Is that an issue?”
“No. Not to me.”
Okay, so… New step in the relationship. You have to pretend y’all broke up or he died to get people off your back, now that you’re no longer talking to the handsome man who saved your life. Everyone thinks you’re mourning or something, and lets you stay home from weddings or bar nights. Don’t need you in a relationship after the ‘last one’ was so perfect. Ace makes sure the only person who even knows your name is Deuce, no one on either crew knows you occupy all of his brain.
Throwing yourself into work, you didn’t see yourself becoming an Admiral until the name ‘Shirouma’ was given to you by the old white guys that run the world. ‘White Horse’, as if it was corny enough, the Marine ship they honored you with… has a white horse figurehead. Not intimidating in the slightest. But Ace would enjoy a laugh every time he was able to catch a glimpse of it. Maybe you wouldn’t change it if you got to hear his laugh every time you chased him… Maybe.
During one of your totally normal Marine work days, you got the loving pleasure to go to Holy Land Mary Geoise and meet with the Seven Warlords of the Sea. You get the honors of helping to choose the pirate who will replace Crocodile. You remember Ace talked about his younger brother, Luffy, enough you connected the dots of how Crocodile fell and who beat him.
You thought about recommending ‘Strawhat’ Luffy or maybe Ace again, simply to make it easier to talk to him. But the meeting was interrupted when a tall man in a top hat had to recommend his own captain. Despite being an unknown man, the name 'Marshall D. Teach’ was one you knew quite very well. You try to get the man forgotten, but the idea of sending a man to the Holy Land was just ballsy enough for him to get chosen.
Ace gets captured by the Blackbeard pirates, and Teach gets the Warlord position. There was little you could do. You couldn’t protect him, you couldn’t save him. The second he was sent to Impel Down you knew it was going to be a war. Whitebeard would come for his son, and you didn’t know if anyone knew you and Ace were together.
Nine a.m., the day of his execution, you stood on the main boat that would transport him to Marineford for his death. When you first saw each other, it was hard not to cry. You had never seen him so broken and enraged, hearing his brother had broken into the prison left you with two choices; the one he wanted you to make, to save Luffy, and the one you wanted to make, save Ace
Leading Ace by the chains, you attacked the ones around him first. You weren’t an Admiral for show, you are stronger than that average Marine, you had to be. There were seventy Marines on the boat, over fifty guards of Impel Down, and a secondary unknown Marine ship coming up behind yours. Over a hundred people… versus You.
You didn’t have the power of Haki, it wasn’t a gift you unlocked yet. You didn’t have a strong enough Devil Fruit to combat Logia, Paramecia, and Awakened Zoan at the same time. All you had were your fists and a brain.
Hearing the sea part behind you, the outline of a giant whale opened, and out flew a firey blue bird. Raising your head, he dove to you and you felt talons grip into your arm. Hearing Whitebeard laugh over the sea, you begged for the man to show up.
The last thirty-seven times you called Ace’s personal Den Den Mushi, the call either failed to go through or was answered and ended. You cried when on the thirty-eighth call, a familiar voice answered you. “Combustion.”
“Spontaneous. Deuce, it’s been three years. Have you written me a good book yet?” The only member of the former-Spade and current-Whitebeard pirates to know who you are, the masked man was enough to convince Whitebeard and Marco to trust in you, despite you admitting to be a marine and one of the Admirals.
Sitting on the Moby Dick, well after Ace was saved and Luffy was in a food coma in his big brother’s lap, you leaned against his shoulder. Some of the pirates looked at you from the corner of their eyes, but when Deuce hugged you and let you cry into his shoulder, the crew figured letting you on the ship was… fine.
Well, not by a lot. But for now, you were happy to be in the arms of the man you love.
You got asked one “Why did you answer the call with ‘Combustion’ and ‘Spontaneous’?”
“Because of this.” Leaning over and pressing a chaste kiss to Ace’s nose, a large flare came from the top of his head and engulfed his hat. His brain reset for a second before he pulled the cowboy hat off and started waving it. Covering his red face, you attempted to kiss him again.
The months after Ace’s rescue, you left the Marines. Lying and saying the Whitebeard pirates appeared from nowhere and took everyone out, it was too much for you to deal with. Living with Ace on the ship was a dream, neither good nor bad.
Original members of Whitebeard’s crew didn’t let you alone with the man they called Pops, you had to be escorted anywhere and everywhere, anytime you had to make a call was recorded and in face with Marco. With Ace healing and the news of his unknown long-time partner being a marine, saving him just after he was sentenced to die, and then magical Admiral Partner quiting their luxurious job to stay with him. It sounded fake. They didn’t believe it; you had to have been a ruse for them to lower their guard so the real Admirals can show up and kill both Ace and Whitebeard.
After dinner one night, Marco went to check on his little brother in his room. He paused outside the gently cracked door and peaked in. Bathed in candlelight and moonlight, two figures slow dance to no music. With just the feeling of their own heartbeats and whispers unheard, the big brother bird figured you were trustworthy enough.

Yet another All Hearts inspired "Different Crew" ZoLaw AUs. This one gets it own post, not even because it's that great of a crew, just because I've been sick so they're taking longer than expected.
Last time we had Three of Spades (Zoro as a Spade Pirate) and Seeing Red where he was a Red Head Pirate.
This time, I present...
Zoro is just a bounty hunter who got swept up with this pirate crew - the XX pirates - and yes our boy has good instincts but the double crosses just went right past him. Which is how he ends up won and abandoned as a "prize" for the Foxy Pirates along with two other crew mates captured during Davy Jones Games. Zoro isn't happy about it, but his captain - despite being a bastard - made an oath when he joined the games and so until Zoro can win his own freedom he's stuck there. At least the games give him some worthy sword fighting opponents now and again.
Then one day a very strange ship shows up.
Now, Trafalgar Law isn't some idiot who is just going to be tricked into firing a pistol to play some games that are clearly going to be stacked against him. What sort of reckless, thoughtless, naive person could even be a pirate nevermind make it to the Grand Line? He's content to just smirk at these bad actors and swagger away when he notices, among all the masked faces, an unmistakable patch of green and gold.
It isn't that Law KNOWS him personally, but even back in North Blue there had started to be whispers… rumours of a young but fierce bounty hunter that not even a proper marauding villain wanted to cross. The Pirate Hunter, they called him, a boy who sounded more like a boogie man with tales of three impossible blades and a smile just as sharp. Law wouldn't have believed it himself except for the Wanted Posters.
Then, one day, Roronoa Zoro had just disappeared.
Another victim of the Grand Line no doubt.
The bandit's mask does very little to hide summer green hair or the three gold tear drops swinging from his ear. Nevermind the three katana all but buzzing at his side.
Law automatically resting a hand on Kikoku's handle at his shoulder. Oh, now this makes things interesting.
His crew is just telling off the idiots that had tried ripping them in. Can't they see how their captain would never fall for such a-
Bang!
….
Alright, Law announces - somehow still smirking, staring right at their swordsmaan - they'll play one game.
("But Captain!!" / "Captain, why!?")
Only don't these things come with official rules. Law wants to see them. In writing.
The only relief the crew has is that they know their captain. He's amazing and so long as he is the one competing. "Shachi, Penguin, Bepo."
("Captain!!")
So while Bepo is trying to win some race, Law suddenly disappears. He's in The Sexy Fox digging around, although he doesn't seem at all surprised to suddenly find a blade to his throat.
Zoro can't stand a cheat, and something about Law seems suspicious.
Cheating? No, not him. Law had just been looking for something. This very den den mushi in fact. It looks familiar doesn't it, Roronoa-ya?
Zoro feels like he can't trust this guy, but he's also curious. It is strange, he does think he's seen that den den mushi before. It's one of those video recording ones…
–🧡–
The real havoc happens when Roronoa suddenly appears on the playing field, all three swords drawn. It sure freaks out the three Heart pirate officers and they aren't even the ones Roronoa is headed towards. Even with a sword clenched in between his teeth, Zoro is making a hell of a racket.
They swore to him there was no cheating! They said they won him fair and square, that all their games were honorable!
(Now most of the top Foxy pirates know that's damn well not true, but the masses? That's another matter. And while Zoro is one of their top competitors, well, would YOU be brave enough to tell him the truth?)
They try denying, calming their swordsman down, bit Zoro is not letting up. He saw the proof with his own eyes!
Law has to say, he can understand the secret recordings for strategy, but it seems the act of an idiot to keep them, even if they were all locked away in that "unenterable" room. It's the mark of someone who is incredibly stupid or incredibly smug or both.
Call it what you will, Foxy doesn't see why Trafalgar is still smiling. Regardless of his little discovery, they've got his crew beat and that means they have lost one of their crew members. How is Trafalgar going to feel about Foxy's methods now that he is under his jolly roger?
Law just keeps smirking, holding out his hand which is suddenly ("Shambles!") holding the rules. The same one Foxy and crew swore by earlier. It's even open to a specific page.
74c. If at any time a team has more than three crew members on the field it qualifies as an automatic forfeit and the other team wins by default.
Now, with Roronoa-ya on the field, it sure looks like you have four crew members instead of the allowed three. Which means that regardless of who was winning before this, you now forfeit and the game is ours.
("Oh, captain!" Some of the Heart Pirates may break down in visible tears of relief. "We knew you have a plan!")
Foxy looks like he wants to fight it, but Law shoots him a look that just dares him to go ahead and try. Especially since currently Law's new swordsman still seems rather upset with him.
As Law is walking off (with the rest of the Hearts either mocking the losers for thinking their captain would be so stupid or just fawning over the genius of Law's strategy but also sticking close by their captain since who knows of these other pirates might change their minds and do one thing crazy) Zoro stops him, again with a sword barely brushing his neck. Trafalgar may have followed the rules but he's still a sneak and a pirate and Zoro (for good reason) no longer trusts any pirate. Ever. And if Trafalgar thinks just because-
Zoro-ya, Law says, two fingers confidently pushing the blade away from his throat, is that what you think? That Law is looking to take advantage of him? That couldn't be further from the truth. Zoro-ya is free to do whatever and whoever he chooses…
Wait…. Whoev-?
Might Law just suggest, of course, coming for him. With him, he means. At least long enough to get off this island and back to civilization. Unless he WANTS to stay here with his old crew. It's Zoro's choice of course.
There's something about the way Law stops and glances back at Zoro that makes his blood boil, but not like he's about to fight. No, this is something different. Like having a living, dancing flame in the pit of Zoro's stomach. Alright, sure. He's coming, he coming.
Yes, Law rather thought he might.

CHAPTER 1031 OF ONE PIECE!
I’m SOBBING SO BADLY IDK IDK EUFHEHWU
first off, i just want to say LAW AND KID ARE BOTH SO BADASS AND EVEN BIG MOM ACKNOWLEDGES THEIR STRENGTH AND THEIR RESOLVE AND I’M JUST HERE HOLLERING!
Makes me question are they going to replace the yonkos after this war??? (Assuming they win.)
Also, a part of me is wondering about Law’s Immortality Operation thing… like will he be using it in this arc? Will someone else die??? 🤭
Then there’s Sanji!!! The internal turmoil! It’s so sad!!
Even if he’s a perv, he’s definitely way better than his trash brothers
But idk man it’s kinda cute that sanji slipped out a den den mushi for zoro “in case he got lost”. He acts like he hates zoro but when it comes to it, he really cares 🙄🙄🙄
Sanji is afraid of what he’ll become after all this. And he doesn’t want to be a monster. So he asks Zoro this favor, and this just goes to show that he trusts him to do it for him. After all Zoro has always been someone you can rely on. And I got teary eyed when Zoro said “I’ll make it swift” — no I actually cried 😭 Zoro understands Sanji, he doesn’t even have to question him. He knows Sanji would rather die than to become like his brothers. Best friend behavior if you ask me.
So in conclusion, straw hats have such a tight bond. I’m soft 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Why don’t you listen to me? Law x GN! Reader - Part 5
Spoilers for : Punk Hazard and Dressrosa arcs [No gender used for the reader, no physical description, everyone is +18] Words : 4547 Archive of our own Blood, exhaustion, fighting, violence, despair If you feel like I should put more warnings, send me a DM or an ask!
… Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4
Considering I was responsible for Luffy, when I saw him take off with everyone else after the plan was detailed on the shore, I had to take off with him too. I had to use my power more than I thought I would with how fast he was, but managed to keep up. When we reached a restaurant, I stayed out of the way even more so when they annoyed the man I knew was from the Marine, they did not seem aware of who they had angered but I was not going to stress them out and ignored it.
However, when Zoro started running after some stolen good, I couldn’t stay out of it and had to catch up before he got lost. He was one of the strongest of the team and would do great damage in time but I did not know what to do. Stay by Luffy and make sure he’d follow the plan or follow Zoro?
By the time I made my decision and turned towards where Luffy was, he was nowhere to be found. “Fuck. Ten seconds of inattention and I’ve already lost him.” I looked around, desperately trying to see where they had gone. I did not even have a map of the place, the only one I had seen was Bepo’s badly done one that Law showed us on the ship. Even if the map was ‘good’ in theory, my memory wasn’t. Sighing, I walked out of the restaurant, making sure to pay for what had be consumed by the loud pirates and samurais. “There better be gold at the end of this stupid suicidal-mission because they cost more than they’re worth.” I mumbled to myself as I walked down the streets, dolls, puppets, and plushies were walking the same street I was.
Those usually inanimate objects made a huge part of the population, it was a strange sight but there was probably something grimmer behind all of this. Their eyes looked almost… human. A shudder ran down my spine, I had to pride my eyes away from them to avoid being suspicious. “It looks like a huge amusement park, there should be a map somewhere, right?” I stopped by some sort of souvenir shop and asked if they had maps, the seller stared at me in awe, then back at something under the counter. When he looked back at me, he smiled and nodded, handing me the map.
I was going to take it when his wooden hand gripped mine and brought me down closer to him, “It’s you! The King- I heard that the King wants to see you but…” He trailed off, his eyes gazing around in panic.
“Who’s the King? How does he know who I am?” I asked, snatching the map from his hand.
“King Joker, but it’s only a rumor… he says whoever finds you has to bring you to him, there’s bounty on your head,” then out of nowhere a knife was pulled from under the counter and planted in my arm, I grabbed the man/doll by the arm and threw him across the room before running out of the shop, the knife hit the ground and I scrambled to get it as I made my escape.
I made a short detour to run by a stand outside and grabbed a black drape to cover my head better than the cap Robin had given me. I thought I was the only one of the whole crew who wasn’t known, but for some reason Joker wanted something with me. But I was not going to let him catch me. For a second I thought, maybe Law was right and I should have stayed on the ship, then I got back to my senses and ignored that thought.
I was teleporting from places to places, to get off those streets and was now on the rooftop of a high building. “Right, maybe I overreacted. Maybe I could have just walked out of the shop, and play it off…” I pondered out loud, “But I didn’t, it’s alright though, I’ve got the map, I have-“ I looked at my right arm and saw the blood trickling down the stab wound that turned partially into a cut as I had pulled back from the puppet.
“And I have a stab wound, nice. I’ll just,” using the drape, I cut a part of it with the knife and wrapped it tightly around the wound. I was no doctor, maybe it was a bad thing to do but I did not care. At least blood wasn’t dripping on the ground anymore, which means they couldn’t follow me.
The building was not a high enough vantage point, so I opened the map and looked at it; Green Bits was across a long bridge that I could see from where I was, but it was very far away. Tucking the map away, I sighed and started making my way to the bridge. I had to pause every time to recharge, I was expecting to use my power a lot more than I used to but not for such things. I thought I’d be helping people out not running around like an idiot, but things never went as expected. I couldn’t begin to imagine Law’s face when I’d tell him I lost Luffy. He’d probably beat my ass then beat his, but, all in due time.
I had this strange feeling in my guts at each of my jump. The closer I was getting to the bridge, the heavier the air seemed to be. The fact of the matter was that if anything was happening there, I couldn’t be of much help considering the lack of items around me. I had not taken any weapon with me, except the knife the seller had used one me. It wasn’t the sharpest but it would do the damage. The plan was to trade off Caesar to the Marines at Green Bits but anything could wrong from there one. If I knew something from experience it was to never trust Marines nor pirates, all were crooked and while one of them claimed to be working for the government, the latter was corrupted to the core. I had yet to come across a truthful Marine.
Except that one guy that helped Law when he was younger, but once again… he was a spy among the pirates and I don’t know how I felt about that. I don’t know how I’d feel if one of my crewmates was actually a Marine. Maybe thinking the Marine would enroll a spy was giving our crew too much credits, we weren’t war criminals or anything… I think…
I was brought back to reality when I heard a loud crash. Looking ahead of me, I saw the bars on each side of the bridge get cut off, then four big animals jump of the water to loom over the two miniscule forms on the ground.
I hurried, recognizing Law’s fighting, he wasn’t meant to turn it into a fight just yet. He wasn’t meant to fight with Joker just yet, the plan wasn’t going as expected and I could see it from the desperate attempt to keep the Warlord at bay. Once I was close enough, I managed to get out of the large cut the blonde made, the fishes were cut in pieces and fell into the water with a loud plop. I looked from afar, needing the gauge if I could help, if help was even needed.
Law was running head on onto the man in front of him, he wasn’t thinking straight, he wasn’t running he was rushing. The grin on the Warlord’s face did not put me at ease, and soon enough he blocked Law’s attack. A huge explosion ensued, I was left speechless, staring at where my Captain used to be. For second my stomach did a flip at the thought of him dead, then I saw him running away from the rubble and sighed in relief. He must have seen me since his eyes widened and he screamed my name, telling me to get out of here. I yelled back, telling him I’d teleport him but he told me to go, now.
“What’s the matter Law, I thought you wanted to kill me?” Said the Joker. It made Law pause, and so did I, I watched. I observed how it’d end up, although I believed in Law, I could still very much notice he was at the limit of his capacity. He was out of breath, exhausted and clearly unable to continue. And yet he did, he tried to attack the blonde with the metal debris, only for him to slash them in pieces. I was going to sneakily grab him and get him away when he desperately went for another strike, I could see the bubble around him grow as he summoned his power.
I was just as surprised as the Warlord, I did not know how he could continue to go past his limits over and over again, but I could easily tell it wasn’t good. He exchanged places of Joker with a huge piece of metal and struck down with his sword, but once again he was blocked by the strings.
Grinning, the tall blonde man sneered, noticing that Law’s power was at its limit. I was surprised to hear he had faced a lot in the little time we were apart, a meteorite from one of the marine, rescued Sanji when they fought the first time? What was going here, how long had he been fighting? I couldn’t think more, they kept exchanging hits, only in vain. Law’s attacks were all blocked, and when he was catching his breath, the maniac shot him down with string bullets which sounded ridiculous but that thought only lasted half a second before I saw my Captain on the ground.
“Law! Let me-“ I cried out, but he raised his fist.
“Get out! Leave, it’s not safe!” My heart clenched at his attempt of fighting back once again, he tried to summon Room but it didn’t work, I looked away, fearing the worst but a phone rang. I turned around and look as Joker picked up his den den mushi and talked casually on the phone. There was another attempt from Law but he got taken down just as easily as before. When the call was done, he strutted towards Law, his walk more threatening than his outfit.
He started explained how annoyed he was with this little plan of ours and mentioned that if he didn’t trust the Straw Hat, perhaps as friends even but that was left unsaid, then he couldn’t have planned something this big. When he mentioned me, I was startled and looked at him in shock, he was staring right back at me but Law ignored it and said he trusted the will of D. That was the words too many, Joker turned into a full berserk mode and raised his fist and was about to strike down Law.
Seeing his state, I didn’t think, I reacted out of instinct and teleported closer to finally reach the blonde’s man back and try to hold his arm. He laughed manically and made cuts on my skin, making me let go of his arm but I was still holding tight onto him. It hurt a lot, but the adrenaline made me ignore it for now as I gripped his other shoulder tight.
“Let him go! You fucking psychopath, you’re not fit for a King, you’re not fit for a Leader- You’re barely a man as it is!!” I rambled as I grabbed the knife from my back and was about to shove it in his throat when he laughed some more in response and took if away from my hand forcefully. I say forcefully but it scared me, the ease with which he used his power to open my hand.
“You talk too much, I should finish you just like I’m about to finish him.” He raised his arm once more, but this time made sure I couldn’t move mine.
He did not hesitate a second more and started hitting Law over and over again, blood spurting around, grunts of pain following each strike. I wanted to throw up from the sight but did not let go of the Warlord. I couldn’t teleport away; I was gripping him tightly but if I let go there was no chance to find Law again. “You’re insistent, can’t you see he’s already dead?” Joker spat as he kicked Law into the air and followed the strings to get closer and closer, kicking my Captain further away at each kick.
“Fuck off, I don’t care if I have to strangle you myself-“ His laugh interrupted me, but it quickly turned into the deadliest expression. I couldn’t see it full well from my place on his back but he wasn’t smiling anymore.
“Guess I’ll kill you both, the traitor’s bastard and you.” He scoffed and gripped one of my wounded arms, lifting me off his back with ease before slamming me into the ground. I let out a painful groan and swore the best I could, this was not ending here.
The air got knocked out of my lungs, I had a hard time breathing but I tried hard to roll onto my stomach to look at the still ongoing fight.
The Warlord was stepping closer to Law’s body that was lying on the ground, motionless. The ground under him was crushed, I couldn’t imagine the pain he must be in. Slowly, Joker raised a gun and aimed it at Law.
A screech ripped out of my throat, I tried to teleport closer to him but I couldn’t. For some reason I couldn’t, I was fucking helpless. “Don’t! He’s-“ I coughed some dryness, maybe even blood, and placed my hands on the ground to steady myself. The Marine was there, I couldn’t stay here, but I couldn’t leave him there either. The so called ‘King’ ignored my attempt and cocked the gun. I could hear Luffy’s voice somewhere, he did not know what was happening but he tried hard to get any sort of information.
“You’ve pushed it too far, kid.” Joker said as he aimed the gun well, before shooting one bullet. My breath hitched inside my throat, then I cried out Law’s name in utter horror. He couldn’t be dead, right? One bullet was alright, the King doesn’t look like he’s a good shot- but two other gunshots rang. I looked at the scene in horror before collapsing on the floor, my arms too weak to carry my weight anymore. I covered my mouth to muffled the sound of my sobbing but couldn’t tear away from the scene displaying in front of me. “Law…” I gasped, pushing myself up to go up to him. “Don’t … die” my voice was weak; I could barely hear it.
He couldn’t hear it either, people were talking, arguing. A Marine stepped up in front of Doflamingo and was about to strike down Law when Zoro stopped it with his sword. I was silently thanking him with all my heart. After managing to stand up, I tried to take a step but fell to my knees. How hard have I been slammed into the ground? I’ve taken worse beatings, now is not the moment to be fragile. I scolded myself, pushing way over my limits and getting up once more. This time I was able to take a few steps but had to hold onto a nearby wall when the Admiral used his power and the pressure was back. I looked around; I couldn’t see Law on the floor anymore.
My heart was already beating fast in my chest, I felt it hammer against my ribs, I was exhausted from so little and scared, scared for Law’s life and mine too. Perhaps Law’s more than mine. I heard Doflamingo’s voice in the air and saw him floating, thanks to his strings, along the Admiral. The King was carrying Law like a grocery bag, I wanted to get up there and beat him up but I had no energy. I felt pure hatred towards the man, and except for being the worst kind of scum all he did was beat up my Captain... for now. I hated being so emotional and tried to force myself to calm down, but my hands were shaking.
I think the blonde said something that must have angered the Marines or maybe were they working together? Whichever it was, they started shooting at Zoro and Kin’emon; I was going to sneak away and hide when one of the civilians grabbed me by the arms and lifted me off the ground, “It’s the one!! It’s exactly like the picture- The king said we should-“ I mustered all my strength and got rid of them before teleporting myself to the roof on top of them, I barely made it through and was hanging on the edge. I had to bring myself up and doing so made it hurt everywhere. My throat was sore, my breath shallow and my arms wounded all over. But I made it and was now sitting securely on the rooftop.
“Fuck this, I knew it’d end bad…” I huffed, rolling up my sleeves to look at the multiples cuts on both my arms. It was more sore than painful, kind of like a cat’s scratches but when I touched it hurt a lot more. Hitting my head against the chimney I was resting against, I groaned. “I fucking knew it’d end up bad, but I promised everyone I’d look over him…” I’m a failure, I scoffed dryly, my hands gripping my thighs tight. I was trying so hard to keep the tears in but I was alone, I was horrified, I didn’t know what to do. “Always making stupid promises… if you can’t even keep them, what’s the point?” I wondered rhetorically, feeling the tears roll down my cheeks silently.
Hearing footsteps echo nearby I stood up quickly and jumped on another roof. I have to stay on the move, I can’t relax, I need to find the others. Wiping the tears away, I tried to hype myself up, even though I did not believe the words that left my mouth, I kept repeating them over and over again, “Maybe he’s still alive, maybe I can still save him, maybe he’s still alive…” But what if he’s dead? If he’s dead, I get over it. I’ll have to, the fighting is not over. Should I finish what he started? I’m not strong enough for that… I could become strong enough, I could come back later and finish Doflamingo. The thought made me giggle nervously, who was I kidding? If I came out of this alive, I wouldn’t come back here, I would never ask the Heart Pirates to follow me.
I cared too much about them to force them to join me- Stop thinking that like that, Law is alive, get to him in time and he’ll be fine! He won’t be fine though he’s on the verge of dying- but that’s okay, he’ll come through he went through worse right? I let out a frustrated groan at the mix of thoughts in my mind, I did not know if I should be realistic or optimistic so I kept moving towards the castle. I had seen both the Admiral and Joker make their way towards that building, chances were that Law should be there too.
After a while, the castle was finally in my reach. I was weary, drained and bloodied up, I no longer had the drape around my knife wound. When Doflamingo use his strings on me, he made sure to cut that too and now I had and open wound and tons of cuts all over my arms. Still, it seemed to be taking care of itself enough since no blood was dripping which was the bare minimum I was hoping for.
Stopping at one spot in the shadow, I looked around to make sure there wasn’t anyone. It reminded me of Punk Hazard which immediately threw me off, I was very bad at sneaking around on Punk Hazard, maybe I was just as bad here. Out of the blue, I remembered something, Law’s vivre card. Shoving my hands in my pockets, I tried to find it amongst other things in it, soon enough I found it and looked at it, it was halfway gone but very slowly gaining back some of its life. A nervous breath of relief escaped my lips as I stared at the blank paper in front of me.
I felt relieved but couldn’t waste more time, tucking it away, I kept my back against the wall and peeked inside the room through the window. I could see someone sitting on the ground by the door as the man from earlier, the Admiral, stepped in and seemed to be talking calmly to Joker. They weren’t paying attention to anything else, but the blond had a victorious grin on his face. But perhaps was his face always adorned with such expression? Since I couldn’t hear them, I looked around some more and realized that someone was sitting on one of the four seats in the middle of the room, at the heart-shaped one… it was Law.
He was handcuffed to the seat, his head hanging low, beaten, bleeding, knocked out. I hated that a part of me thought he was still handsome like that, but the most logical part was anxious, how long could he stay alive in that state? I’m sure those handcuffs weren’t simple one either, they were made for fruit user. I was startled when Doflamingo tried to kick the Admiral, and moved to rest against the wall once more, I would rather not get caught.
After a moment, I looked back and there were more people inside the room. Law seemed to be awake and from what gathered, they were interrogating him. When he didn’t answer, the girl in the maid dress slapped in head, I felt my fingers tingle at the thought someone laying a hand on him when he was in that state, but gripped the wall tighter. I saw something move the back and realized Luffy was there with two other people, one of them being a doll soldier. Relief coursed through my body at the thought of not being alone if I was discovered, not that I was aiming to be.
My legs were starting to get weak from staying on the tip of my toes, on the edge of the wall. It wasn’t made to be walked on, but I was trying my best to stay balanced. I was careful not to look down, I was very high above the ground; One wrong move and I could fall down, which almost happened when Doflamingo slammed opened the window to overlook the city. He was mad, he was angry, he was more than infuriated. And I love it. I don’t know what had happened to make him mad like that but I was living for it, perhaps the plan was still ongoing and things weren’t as bad as I thought they were.
Things kept happening, one after another, I had no opportunity to get off my spot until a large man with a missing leg jumped out of nowhere and ‘heroically’ cut Doflamingo’s head off. But it was useless, it wasn’t the real him, and yet I took that opportunity and leaped back inside, the thumping of my feet on the ground made Law turn his face towards me. When our eyes met, I felt all the frustration that had built up since then melt away and I stood there, holding onto the edge of the window. “You’re alive-“ I was interrupted when Luffy came crashing in with a woman in his arms, “Torao!! You’re alive!!” he screamed.
That was supposed to be my line, but yeah sure go off, I guess. Luckily, they had the key to the handcuffs but the adrenaline and their over enthusiasm made it hard for it to fit the keyhole. And they said so, I was going to suggest I’d do it but Doflamingo’s double came back and everything went to shit. I heard him mention a birdcage, a grin spreading on his face, which was a huge contrast to the horrified look that painted Law’s face. The soldier raised his sword once more, but the Warlord was faster and was quick to get behind him and raise his foot, ready to kill.
I threw myself over Law’s seat and pushed it to the ground as Luffy threw himself on the man, I heard his name being screamed by the Straw-Hat Captain and learned it was Kyros. While Luffy was fighting with the blonde maniac, I scrambled to my senses a tried to find the key to Law’s cuffs. Stress was getting the best of me as my hands were shaking, it didn’t stop me from patting the ground to see if it was around. I stopped when I heard Law say my name, his voice gruffy and filled with worry.
“I’m trying, I’ll find it, I swear I’m trying-“ Why was my voice so uneven? Why was I getting so emotional, it was just a key, I had to take a breath and calm down… But it was mixed with elation from knowing Law was alive too, and I had a hard time getting myself under control.
He said my name again, but even though I heard it, I didn’t really hear it. I overheard it, I was too focused on the blood pumping in my ears and my hands on the moving ground.
“Look at me!” He said a bit louder this time, I looked up and met his gaze with panic. “You have to go, you can’t stay here, Joker he-“ Law bit back his words and gulped, it almost looked like he was getting emotional but I think it was his exhaustion that was getting the best of him.
“The birdcage, I know what it does. You have to go back to the Sunny-“
“I’m not leaving you behind,” I grabbed his hands, avoiding the cuffs knowing full well its effects. “I promised Bepo, I don’t care if I’m not part of the crew. I just…” His eyes were fixed on my arms, horror in his eyes. I pulled my hands from his and kept searching around the room, continuing in a lower tone, “I need you alive, that’s all.”
Before I could find the key, the ground started moving once more. It was guiding us towards the open part of the castle, towards the edge, towards a big fall. “Fuck-“ I tried to reach out for something, anything to grab to avoid falling, in vain. We were all free falling, Violet was screaming, Luffy was falling head first, Kyros and Riku were scared shitless too, but Law could not see what was under him. As much as he tried to keep his composure, there was terror in his eyes and I couldn’t help him. I was useless.

“Zoro! Where are you!?” Luffy called as he ran around the beach like a madman, not really playing attention to his surroundings, so somehow kicked sand all over some poor stranger that he ran past.

Kyana blushed darkly and embers seemed to pop around her body before dissolving into ash. "R-Really? I um, I feel the same about you."
Kaito expected Kyana to at worst appreciate his compliment and politely tell him that she didn’t feel the same way, so her answer came as a complete shock to him.

Next Captain of the Heart Pirates
Law mourned over the death of Lex, and to keep himself busy he kept studying medicine longer and harder than ever, maybe if he was a better doctor, he could have found a way to save Lex before he died. Unable to change the past, he at least not going to let any of his crew members die too, especially going with his plan to take Kaido down. He found himself once again at Lex’s grave at Swallow Island, speaking to his old friend and oath brother one last time.
“Once we’re finished taking Kaido down, Akainu will be next. I swear I will avenge you, Lex, as the second captain of the Heart Pirates, it is the least I can due to honour you as the first,” Law spoke as he rose to his feet and turned around, to see the rest of his crew waiting for him in the distance. He smiled faintly, a reminder that he was not alone as always.

Airi rose a brow slightly as she listened to man. It was clear that he didn’t trust any of them yet, which was understandable. Pirates weren’t the most loyal people.
At least, normal pirates were. If anything, here crew weren’t normal at all.
“Alright, sounds good to me.” She said with a nod, giving Law a grin. “You did save us, and I’d feel bad if we didn’t do anything for ya in return.” People honestly get surprised at hearing that, with her being a pirate and all, but it didn’t really matter to her. She was just happy to help.
“Now- You got a Den Den I can use? I kinda gotta call my brother and tell him that we’re fine.” She stated, hoping that he’d at least trust her enough to let her use one.
“Good, I will let you guys know when the time comes.” He gave Airi a slight nod, they would at least have a temporary alliance with these pirates they saved. Of course there were all kinds of pirates out there, some with a better moral compass than others, but he had to make sure they could be trusted first.
“Yeah, I got a spare you can use, here.” Law soon tossed a generic looking Den Den Mushi towards Airi casually, it was not a bad idea, but he will be within earshot to make sure she was saying what she told him she was to her brother.

Hearts With(out) Chains Chapter 11
Fandom: One Piece Rating: PG-13 Pairings: Gen (eventual Lawlu) Words: 3537 Characters: Trafalgar Law, Monkey D. Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Franky, Smoker, Tashigi, Vergo Note: I’m taking my turn at the Corazon!Law AU because my brain won’t leave me alone until this is written down. Tags will be updated as the chapters come out.
The story title is based on the Ellie Goulding song “Hearts Without Chains.”
Summary: Law is reclaimed by the Family when he's 17 and, with Doflamingo holding the lives of his crew as collateral for his good behavior, eventually becomes the third Corazon. Years later, trapped by his impossible situation, Law finds a strange connection to Monkey D. Luffy, which offers a glimpse of something he's repeatedly had ripped away from him: hope.

Smoker’s eyes widened. “Vergo? What is the head of G-5 doing here?”
“I’m here on business, Vice Admiral,” Vergo replied, inclining his head at Smoker.
“We called for backup but were told you were on leave,” the swordswoman said, frowning.
He never said whose business he’s here on, Law thought wryly as he sliced through the chains holding the two Marines captive. He stepped back out of the cage, eyeing Vergo. Law didn’t like the sense of satisfaction radiating off the older man. He’d heard what Law had said—but had anyone else?
“Doffy didn’t believe me before that you’re a traitor, but now he’ll have it in your own words, Law.”
Could Vergo have a line open to Dressrosa? Or perhaps he’d recorded what Law had said.
It also confirmed that Vergo had called Doffy with his report on Law’s defection, but apparently Doffy wasn’t buying it; the Warlord knew full well the safeguards he’d put into place to prevent Law from betraying him, after all. If Vergo had proof, though…
Law needed to make sure those words never left this room.
“I didn’t think you’d be so foolish as to blow your cover over a grudge,” Law commented, raising an eyebrow. He kept his tone purposefully light, but he expanded his Room and kept Kikoku hefted in front of him.
With a quick scan of his Room, he found Zoro’s swords and Shambled them into the man’s hands. Zoro let out a surprised yelp (one Law knew he would deny making until his dying day), and Law’s lip twitched as he glanced back and met the pirate hunter’s eye. The other man’s startled expression quickly shifted into a nod of appreciation as he replaced the blades at his side.
“Cover?” the swordswoman asked, following Smoker out of the cell.
Smoker jerked. “A traitor?” he growled, glancing between Law and Vergo. His gaze finally settled on the base commander. He shook his head, and Law could practically hear the pieces clicking into place in his brain. “I can’t believe I didn’t see it. You’re the one who’s been covering up the abductions of the children, aren’t you?”
“Don’t feel too bad, White Chase-ya,” Law said, and Smoker looked back at him suspiciously. “It’s not like Vergo was a traitor to the Marines. Vergo was a pirate from the start.”
“What?”
Law couldn’t help his lip curling into a sneer. “He’s Doflamingo’s most trusted subordinate. He joined the Marines on his orders fifteen years ago and climbed the ranks.”
“A pirate posing as a Marine,” Smoker hissed. “Shameful.” He shook his head, disgusted.
“How dare you,” the captain yelled at Vergo, betrayal tinging the anger in her voice. “Those children are innocent!”
“They’re sacrifices for the greater good, Captain Tashigi,” Vergo said simply. He’d been watching the exchange with a bored affect in place, though Law knew better than to take him at face value; Vergo was always poised to attack.
“The greater good?” the cat burglar snapped. “What greater good could possibly come from experimenting on children?”
“That is super messed up,” the cyborg agreed.
“A world ruled by Donquixote Doflamingo, of course,” Vergo said, as though the answer were obvious. And, Law supposed, for Vergo, it was. “Give me some credit for keeping up my cover, Smoker-kun. I’ve been on my guard ever since you transferred to G-5. It will be good to finally be rid of that concern.”
Vergo turned back to Law. “And who says I’m blowing my cover, Law?” Vergo had completely dispensed with Law’s title, apparently. He’d never respected Law as a successor, no matter how many times Doffy pushed him on it, and now he had the excuse to back it up. “None of them are leaving this island. I’ll file it away as a tragic accident at sea, as always.”
Law narrowed his eyes, reminded once more of the World Government’s coverup of Flevance’s destruction. Vergo, as far as Law was concerned, was proof pirates and soldiers weren’t so different, no matter what people like Smoker professed. Law knew he was no better, but he also never claimed to be.
“I won’t let that happen,” Smoker snarled. He didn’t have his jitte since he’d been captured—and Law wasn’t feeling particularly inclined to return the weapon that had taken him down with Seastone—but he didn’t let that stop him.
Smoker shifted into smoke form and charged Vergo with an outraged yell. He had to know about Vergo’s talent with haki and the effect it would have on his Fruit’s abilities, but he attacked anyway, his fury at his base commander’s betrayal driving him on.
“Smoker-san!” the captain called, worried.
“What is he doing?” Zoro muttered.
Smoker punched at Vergo with a smoky tendril, but Vergo blackened his arm and grabbed the smoke. Smoker cursed as Vergo spun and whipped him into the far wall. Smoker coughed and sagged to the floor. His second and the Straw Hats gasped, but Law took the moment of distraction to Scan Vergo; there was a Den Den Mushi in his pocket.
With a twitch of his fingers, the Den Den Mushi flew from Vergo’s coat toward Law. Vergo’s eyes snapped toward him.
“No!”
Law grabbed the snail from midair, and he pocketed it just as Vergo’s haki-coated stick slammed into his chest, tossing him like a rag doll into the wall behind him. The back of Law’s head hit the metal; his vision briefly went dark, and his stomach threatened to empty itself—another blow to his head was not what Law needed when he already had a concussion—but Law, taking a stabilizing breath, was able to collect his wits and keep his Room from falling. He Shambled himself across the room before Vergo could recover the Den Den Mushi.
“Brat!” Vergo snapped as he turned to find Law slumped over on one of the couches, having swapped places with a pillow. “But I suppose running away is always what you’ve done best.”
Law could vaguely hear the Straw Hats making some kind of commotion, though their words wouldn’t form in his ears; his blurry vision, however, was directed entirely toward the man striding toward him, a murderous intent barely contained beneath his haki-clad skin; Vergo knew he couldn’t kill Law before bringing him back to Dressrosa, but that wouldn’t stop him from beating the shit out of him—again.
Law just needed a moment to bring his vision back into focus…
Suddenly, Vergo was flying across the room. He crashed into the far wall and crumpled. Law blinked, his battered brain trying to comprehend what he was seeing. Belatedly, he turned to see Straw Hat, flanked by his crewmates, standing in the doorway, his rubbery arm returning to him with a loud snap.
Before dealing with that, Law pulled Vergo’s Den Den Mushi from his pocketed and noted in relief that there wasn’t a live line open. That meant Doffy hadn’t been listening in. Vergo still could have recorded his words, but Law would worry about that later. If Doffy hadn’t heard Law, then all Law had to do was prevent Vergo from bringing his words back to Dressrosa.
He pushed himself to his feet and headed toward the new arrivals. His vision was clearing, but his balance was still slightly off. The doctor in him was concerned, but the pirate in him knew he didn’t have the luxury of taking a break.
The two factions of Straw Hats were greeting each other happily. Straw Hat’s expression lit up as Law approached.
“Torao!”
“What are you doing here, Straw Hat-ya?” Law demanded. “We agreed you would wait.”
Straw Hat frowned. “We were talking, but then there was all this chaos on Torao’s end of the line. No one was responding. It sounded dangerous, so we decided to help.”
Ah. Law supposed he had gotten distracted by Vergo’s appearance and hadn’t considered how that would have sounded to the Straw Hats listening in.
“So, what exactly happened to cause this?” the cat burglar asked, gesturing between Straw Hat and Law. Though she’d agreed to trust Straw Hat, she was still suspicious of Law—and she was right to be.
Still, Law ignored her. They didn’t have time for this; Vergo wouldn’t stay down long, even after taking a hit like that.
“If you want to rescue the children, this would be the time to do it,” he said.
“What about him?” Straw Hat asked, nodding back toward Vergo.
Law grimaced as he noticed Vergo stirring. “I can handle it.”
“Because that went so well before,” Black Leg muttered.
Law ignored him as well. He didn’t have Seastone draining his abilities now. “I’ll handle it,” he repeated, looking directly at Straw Hat. Vergo might be taking an excuse to finish what he’d started thirteen years earlier, but Law wasn’t a terminally ill child anymore. It was unfinished business for them both.
“Luffy, what—” the cat burglar started.
But Straw Hat studied Law’s face for a long moment and seemed to find whatever he was looking for because he nodded. “Okay.”
Law felt a measure of relief at the response; it wasn’t that he needed Straw Hat’s permission to take on Vergo—alliance or not, he wouldn’t let anyone take this fight from him—but having his agreement was a lot easier. His crew would follow his lead, and they’d be able to accomplish both their tasks and move on to rescuing Law’s nakama.
“What?” several Straw Hats gasped.
“Okay,” Straw Hat repeated. “Torao will handle the Verto guy, and we’ll go after the kids.”
“You think I’m going to let that happen?” Vergo said. He’d risen to his feet and stood, arms crossed, in front of the doorway the Straw Hats would need to go through to find the children.
Straw Hat made to draw his arm back again, but before he could strike, Law held out a hand. Straw Hat stopped, eyeing Law curiously.
“Go. Caesar and Monet are still with the children. They’re both Fruit users, so don’t take them lightly.”
“But—”
Law Shambled Vergo into the cage, and, with a few twists of his fingers, retwined the wires holding the front of the cage together. The doorway was now open, and Vergo cursed. The cage wouldn’t hold him long, but it didn’t need to—just long enough for the others to leave.
Straw Hat whooped. “Thanks, Torao!” he called as he charged forward, the promise of a fight clearly drawing him like a magnet.
“Wait, Luffy!” the cat burglar called, running after her captain. “You don’t know where you’re going!”
Straw Hat’s laughter echoed against the metal walls as the Straw Hats and, Law noticed, Smoker’s second filed out of the open doorway. Smoker, however, remained where he was; he’d gotten to his feet while Law was talking to the Straw Hats. Law narrowed his eyes at the other man.
“This is my fight, White Chase-ya. Stay out of my way.”
“That man is a traitor to the Marines, and I plan to see justice done,” Smoker said, voice tight, as he strode up next to Law. “Don’t get in my way, pirate.”
Law and Smoker both turned at the sound of a metallic slam; Vergo had kicked the cage’s front out, the metal wiring sliding several feet across the floor before coming to rest. Though Vergo’s eyes were still hidden behind his glasses, Law could feel the anger radiating off the man.
“Enough,” he snapped, stepping back into the room.
“My thoughts exactly,” Smoker roared, charging at Vergo. “Traitor!”
Law sighed but didn’t intervene. Though he thought the man was being foolish considering how his previous attack had failed, Law could understand his rage at realizing Vergo, the base commander of his own unit, was a traitor.
However, Smoker wouldn’t get an advantage on Vergo this way; Vergo’s haki was superior to the other vice admiral’s. The first Corazon didn’t have a Devil Fruit to enhance his attacks, so he’d trained and honed his haki over the years until his masterful control and overwhelming power became what he was known for. For a Logia like Smoker, Vergo was a bad matchup.
Still, if he wanted to wear Vergo down while Law took a few moments to rest, Law wasn’t going to object. At full strength, Law wasn’t particularly concerned about taking Vergo on, but he didn’t want to take any chances when he was unsteady with a head injury. As the two vice admirals clashed, Law scanned the room until he found Smoker’s jitte. He could still feel the ghost of the Seastone tip slamming into his back, causing his Room to fall around him as weakness spread through his entire body. Law grimaced, but, grudgingly, he summoned the weapon into his hand.
“White Chase-ya,” he called as Smoker fell back from a swipe of Vergo’s bamboo stick.
“What?” Smoker demanded, not looking toward Law.
“Catch.” He tossed the jitte in the man’s direction.
Smoker’s eyes flicked in his direction then widened as he saw his weapon flying in his direction. He sent a smoky arm toward it, grabbing the hilt before Vergo could interfere. He grunted a nod in Law’s direction, clearly unhappy to owe Law anything else.
Even with his jitte, Smoker was clearly outmatched. Vergo’s haki-coated arms were able to strike Smoker’s smoke form, forcing him to revert to his base form. They traded blows, Vergo’s bamboo stick with Smoker’s jitte. Vergo’s haki-enhanced hits pushed Smoker into retreat.
“It’s no use, Smoker-kun,” Vergo taunted. “You’re no match for me.”
“You’ve betrayed G-5. The men trusted you. I’ll see you pay for that, pirate,” Smoker snarled back.
Vergo side-stepped Smoker’s blow and looked at him curiously. “You seem to care for those morons. Why?”
Smoker leapt at Vergo, only to be pushed aside by his bamboo. “Because they’re my men!”
Vergo tsked. “And that is your problem, Smoker-kun. Placing loyalty in trash. You will only end up discarded along with them.”
Smoker roared in response, but Vergo kicked out and tripped Smoker. Smoker fell backwards, hissing as his back hit the floor. His eyes widened as Vergo suddenly appeared above him, ready to strike a killing blow with his bamboo.
Deciding he’d seen enough, Law twitched his fingers, sending Vergo to the far side of the room.
“Law,” Vergo growled when he realized what had happened. “Don’t interfere. I’ll have time for you, too.”
Law rolled his eyes and turned back to Smoker. “Enough, White Chase-ya.”
“Dammit, Corazon! I can still—” He broke off, wincing at what Law would guess were broken ribs from Vergo’s many haki-enhanced blows.
“I can see that,” Law replied wryly. “Don’t make me move you, too.”
Smoker glowered but didn’t argue.
As Vergo started charging back toward Law and Smoker, Law Shambled himself across the room, directly into Vergo’s path. He swung Kikoku, but Vergo dodged just in time. A large chunk of the wall behind Vergo came down with a loud clatter. Law swung his blade several more times to create smaller pieces of metal from the fallen wall.
Law turned on his heel and immediately jumped back toward Vergo, using Kikoku to block a flurry of blows. His arms shook under the strain of countering the strikes, but he gritted his teeth then powered forward, driving Vergo back.
Lifting a finger, Law used Takt to lift the metal pieces he’d created and hurled them toward Vergo. The vice admiral cursed and dodged the large sheets of metal, knocking those he couldn’t dodge away with his stick.
“What’s wrong, Vergo?” Law taunted as he ducked under the flying pieces of metal to approach his target. “Not so easy when your target isn’t shackled in Seastone?”
“Don’t flatter yourself, Law.”
Law sent a large piece of metal Vergo had already knocked away back toward Vergo and ducked behind it; Law followed its path, so when Vergo knocked it out of his way again, he jolted in surprise as Law suddenly appeared. He swung his bamboo to push Law back, but Law ducked under Vergo’s outstretched arm, catching the man off-guard.
Law shoved his free hand forward into Vergo’s chest. Mes.
Vergo gasped as his heart was expelled backward. He slumped forward as Law summoned the heart into his hand.
“Bastard,” Vergo hissed.
To his credit, Vergo’s heartrate remained steady as he kneeled in front of Law. Even now, he wouldn’t let his successor rattle him.
“I have your life literally in my hand, Vergo,” Law said, eyeing the heart. “I’d watch my tongue if I were you.”
“And what will you do with it, boy?” Vergo sneered, looking up. “Kill me?”
As Law felt the heart pulse steady in his hand, memories of Minion Island flashed in front of his mind’s eye.
Finding Vergo as he looked for help for the fallen Cora-san.
Vergo and Cora-san recognizing each other.
Vergo beating the wounded Cora-san, taunting him all the while.
Vergo beating Law, no sympathy for a dying child.
Vergo leaving them both, battered and bloody, in the snow to report to Doflamingo.
Law squeezed the heart, and Vergo writhed on the ground, pained groans coming through his clenched teeth.
Cora-san. Law released his grip on the heart. Vergo let out relieved gasps and slowly stilled.
“Corazon,” Smoker said slowly, as if afraid to spook Law. “He needs to face justice.”
Cora-san had always believed in justice. He hadn’t wanted to kill Doflamingo but bring him in. He wouldn’t want to kill Vergo either but instead, like Smoker, to bring him to justice.
Law wasn’t like them.
“Justice,” he scoffed bitterly, eyes never leaving the heart in his hand. “Where was justice when my little sister collapsed from Amber Lead Disease at seven years old and died as my parents’ clinic burned to the ground? Where was justice when soldiers destroyed my country then covered it up?” Law could hear his voice rising in his ears as he spoke, but he didn’t care. Years of pent-up rage flowed through his veins. “Where was justice when the man who saved me was murdered for it? Where was justice—”
He cut himself off at the sound of Vergo’s choking laughter, throat tightening as he realized what he’d just said.
“There’s no such thing as justice, Smoker-kun,” Vergo said between pained gasps. “There is only strength and weakness.” He turned his head to stare at Law. “And your precious Cora-san was weak, Law. Just like you.”
Fury rising in his chest, Law squeezed the heart again, Vergo’s screams a melody to his ears.
When Law let go of the heart once more, Vergo collapsed to the floor and panted. For years, Law had waited for the chance to avenge what Vergo had done to him and Cora-san that night; Vergo had haunted his nightmares, a looming figure of cruelty. But now, laid out on the ground and trying to hold onto his pride in his defeat, Law thought he looked pathetic.
And just like that, the fury drained out of him, leaving him feeling oddly hollow.
“So now what, Law?” Vergo asked between gasps for air. “You can’t kill me.”
Law raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”
“What do you think Doffy would do to you if you did? To your crew?”
Law barked a humorless laugh. “If he thinks I’m a traitor, we’re all dead anyway.” He narrowed his eyes. “Might as well take you with me.”
Vergo frowned. “You know how the Family deals with traitors.”
“I do,” Law agreed.
“He’ll never let you go,” Vergo said. “Not until he’s done with you. Wherever you go, he’ll find you.”
“I know.” That was why he’d return to Dressrosa once his business here was done. “Don’t worry, Vergo-san. I’ll file it away as a tragic accident at sea.”
He tightened his grip around Vergo’s heart, watching as the man writhed. He felt… nothing. Vergo coughed blood, but the satisfaction Law had expected to feel at the sight of Vergo dying at his hands was missing, sucked into the hollowness in his chest.
“Corazon, you don’t have to do this,” Smoker spoke up. “I can take him in.”
Law tightened his grip further. “You really think Doflamingo would let his favorite subordinate be locked up in Impel Down?”
“Even Warlords don’t have the power to stop something like that,” Smoker replied with a frown.
Law shook his head. “He has more connections than that, White Chase-ya.” If Vergo left Punk Hazard alive, Law and his crew were assured slow, agonizing deaths. If Law killed Vergo now, there was still a chance this could be salvaged.
Vergo huffed a strained laugh around his cries. “He’s. Right. Smoker-kun. You. Have. No idea. Who. You’re. Dealing with.”
Smoker looked between the two pirates and shook his head but said nothing. Law continued squeezing the heart, waiting to feel something after all this time.
“What’s wrong, Law?” Vergo panted. “Don’t have. The stones. To finish it?”
“Hardly.”
Law closed his fist completely, crushing the heart until Vergo let out a final bloody gasp then went limp.
Still feeling that odd emptiness, he opened his hand dropped the still heart next to the corpse.
“That was for Cora-san.”

Amiral Issho Fujitora
Also known as Fujitora, Issho is a blind Marine 👨🏼🦯 who owns the post of Admiral. The first mention of him was made by Admiral Commander-in-Chief Sakazuki when he announced his plan for the alliance formed between the Straw Hat Pirate and Trafalgar D. Law. This plan includes sending Admiral Fujitora to Dressrosa to destroy this alliance and capture the two pirates. Issho is thus the second antagonist of the Dressrosa Arc after Doflamingo. Even with his blindness, this Admiral possesses incredible power linked to his Devil Fruit. He is able to summon meteorites, to make hover objects or people and also to create black holes. 🕳️ He is one of the quintessential opponents of Roronoa Zoro . We invite you to discover all the details about this character in the rest of this article.
Issho appearance
The face of Admiral Fujitorahas an X-shaped scar on his forehead that crosses each of his two eyes. 👀 This man is also suffering from blindness and when he opens his eyes, we only see the white. Her hair is black in color and is cut short. He also wears a beard and mustache of the same color as his hair. Like the other Admirals, he is very tall. As for the outfit, he is dressed in a purple 👘 kimono and cinched at the waist with a black belt. Fujitora covers it all with a white coat decked out with the Navy logo on the back and gold epaulettes. He wears geta, the traditional Japanese sandals with wooden soles, on his feet, and he moves with a cane made of wood as well.
Fujitora Personality
A fairly reasonable person, Admiral Issho has a tendency to trust others to the point of being taken advantage of. Indeed, it happens to him to show a certain naivety as when the underlings of Captain Corsaire Don Quixote Doflamingo deceived him by making him believe that he was a loser in the game of roulette. His weakness could certainly be explained by the fact that he is blind. However, you should know that Fujitora himself made the choice to lose his sight because, for him, this infirmity is a blessing allowing him not to witness the corruption that reigns in the world. On the other hand, when Monkey D. Luffyhad told him of the deception of which he was the victim, he had no hesitation in taking revenge on the crooks in a ruthless manner. He formed a gigantic black hole into which were swallowed those who had slyly deceived him. Another point of his personality is that he does not shy away from his responsibilities. This was notably seen when he did not hesitate to reimburse the damage he caused in the restaurant because of his black hole. It should be noted that this Navy officer prefers to stick to his own values rather than necessarily complying with what Admiral Commander-in-Chief Sakazuki alias Akainu recommends , namely ⚖️ Absolute Justice. It also appears that he tends to worry more about people's safety than to reprimand criminals. He does not endorse the actions of the World Government, which always seeks to conceal the truth from citizens. This attitude shows a certain integrity in Admiral Issho. As a result, he has no hesitation in asserting his opinions and opposing his hierarchy as during his muscular exchange with his superior Akainu. In addition, he absolutely refused thereafter to apologize to the latter when Sengoku the Buddha, the former Admiral Commander-in-Chief of the Navy advised him to do so. On the other hand, Issho is not a maverick, he has in particular respect for the law as when he saved the life of the scientist 👨🏼🔬 psychopath César Clown for his alliance with Don Quixote Doflamingo. Admiral Issho is also distinguished by his modesty which he demonstrated by having little reaction after Trafalgar D. Law and Don Quixote Doflamingo had praised his great strength as well as his undeniable reputation. In addition to modesty, he is also a humble person as when he knelt before Riku Doldo III aka Ricky, the king of Dressrosa , and his subjects. He had done it to apologize on behalf of the Navy for the fact that the latter allowed Doflamingo to harm them for 10 long years without having intervened. Issho also has a calm and unruffled temperament. Even when a meteorite launched on the Thousand Sunnywas diverted to his ship, he didn't worry any more and continued to enjoy his noodles quietly while all his soldiers were in total panic. However, despite his calm and seriousness, the Tiger 🐅 Violet certainly does not lack humor. He likes to use funny expressions, and even exaggerate them. As an example of his sense of humor, the fact that Luffy announces his attacks ahead of time amused him a lot and he even laughed at a pushy and outspoken Luffy about his infirmity. In addition, he prefers to have fun playing roulette rather than chasing Luffy and Law as his job requires.
Issho's allies
The World Government
As an officer of the Navy, Admiral Issho must obey the orders of the World Government. However, he does not really carry this entity in his heart for the reason that the World Government often lies to the people, only tells them what they want and acts only in its own interest. This is the reason why he apologized on behalf of the World Government for not intervening in Dressrosa when the country had been martyred by Doflamingo for 10 years. For this, he even knelt at the feet of King 👑 Riku and hundreds of citizens. Having been filmed by the escarphones, called Den Den Mushi, and disseminated in several regions, this approach aroused the anger of his superior, Admiral Commander-in-Chief Sakazuki and that of the Council of Five Deans, otherwise known as The Five Elders or Gorosei, which is the Highest Authority of the World Government. Marine
Since Issho is an Admiral of the Navy, he is entitled to the respect of all this military organization. Each member of the Navy with a rank lower than his owes him full obedience without asking or asking the slightest question. As for his relations with the Admiral Commander-in-Chief, they are complex. First of all, Admiral Issho has Akainu's confidence since it is he whom the latter has chosen to send to the 🏝️ island of Dressrosa to put an end to the alliance concluded between Monkey D. Luffy and Trafalgar D. Law.However, the fact that Fujitora apologized on behalf of the World Government for what happened in Dressrosa, without notifying anyone of his act, greatly pissed him off. Because of this, the latter imposed an ultimatum on Issho that he had to bring back the heads of Luffy in the Straw Hat 👒 and Law at World Government Headquarters to Mary Geoise or he would be fired. This threat did not impress the new Admiral much, but rather caused him irritation. Besides, he hardly seemed to intend to obey his superior. On the side of the other senior officers of the Navy, he seems to have a good relationship with Vice Admiral Smoker, the White Hunter . It turns out that these two officers have the same vision about Justice, but also about the 7 Captain Corsairs: They hate them. For both, the agreement of the World Government with these pirates 🏴☠️ should be abrogated, especially in view of the infamous acts of Sir Crocodile alias Mr. 0in Alabasta and those of Don Quixote Doflamingo in Dressrosa. Indeed, these two characters deceived the respective inhabitants of these kingdoms by pretending to act like heroes in order to gain their trust while in parallel, they carried out their Machiavellian plan in the shadows. Note that Smoker had related to Issho during an exchange between the two characters the events that took place in Alabasta and had declared that he too wanted to destroy the order of the 7 Captain Corsairs. The Grand Corsairs
Although he is allied with the 7 Captain Corsairs as a Navy officer, Admiral Fujitora does not trust them in any way. For him, they are simply pirates ☠️ who benefit greatly from their alliance with the World Government and the privileges that flow from it, as was the case with the abuses of Doflamingo during his reign in Dressrosa. In truth, he feels a great contempt for the 7 Grand Corsairs and he joined the Navy during the ellipse which lasted two years with the aim of putting an end to this alliance and to dismantle, even eradicate, this organization.
Aptitudes de Fujitora
First of all, the fact that Fujitora is an Admiral is proof of his undeniable power given that Admiral 🎖️ is the highest rank in the Navy and just preceded by the Admiral Commander-in-Chief. Thus, this rank is not given to just anyone, especially not to a person whose potency is less or has not been proven. And, by virtue of his position as Admiral, the thousands of soldiers who make up the Navy are under his authority. Another privilege due to his high rank is that he can command a Buster Call, the Navy's ultimate military attack force in an operation of mass destruction., on any island he thought was a threat. He also has the authority to revoke the title of one of the 7 Grand Corsairs as he did for Trafalgar D. Law. And, in terms of fighting strength, Fujitora is seen as one of the most powerful members of the Navy. In addition to this, it turns out that Admiral Fujitora possesses mastery over two types of Haki, namely the Armament Haki and the Observation Haki . He notably used the Busoshoku no Haki to impregnate his sword ⚔️ in order to stop the Birdcage of Doflamingo with the help of Roronoa Zoro, Kurozumi Kanjuro and Kinemon alias The Fire Fox. As for his mastery of Kenbunshoku no Haki, it is at a high stage and manifests in the form of an aura, which allows him to visualize what is in the surroundings even though he is blind. Moreover, his mastery of Sensitive Fluid is such that even when he uses it, he is still able to fulfill his duties as an Admiral. Another proof of Fujitora's strength and power is that during the events of Dressrosa and his many clashes, he came through without any injuries 🤕 or even visible scratches. Let's not forget that Issho still fought Law and Doflamingo who are Captain Corsairs, Luffy and Zoro who are part of those we nickname the Supernovae (just like Law by the way) as well as Sabo who is the second most important member of the military organization of the Revolutionary Army.
Devil Fruit: Zushi Zushi no Mi
Admiral Issho first unveiled the mighty power of his Devil Fruit 🍇 at the restaurant in Acacia, the port city of the Kingdom of Dressrosa. It was in this place that he showed his ability to master gravity by creating a huge black hole there, into which he knocked all those who conned him into gambling because of his blindness. During this event, the scammers were first seen pulled violently towards the ground, which demonstrates the impressive force of gravity aroused by this Devil Fruit. Paramecia type, this Devil Fruit is known as Zushi Zushi no Mi. The latter offers Issho the possibility of achieving several feats through the mastery of gravity. In particular, it can affect objects, make meteorites fall from the sky and form gravitational barriers of circular shape which are used to protect itself from the attacks of its adversaries. Admiral Fujitora notably uses his cane 🦯 to channel his various skills. Thus, Fujitora has been seen summoning meteorites from the sky to drop them on Trafalgar D. Law as well as Don Quixote Doflamingo. He also has the ability to immobilize his opponents on the ground thanks to the gravity he manipulates through his saber. And, as for Shiki the Golden Lion with the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi de or Trafalgar D. Law with the Ope Ope no Mi, Issho is able to levitate objects of any size with his Devil Fruit. He has notably been seen to hover a warship in the air as well as the debris of an island, demonstrating the enormous potential of the powers of Zushi Zushi no Mi. Even Doflamingo admits that his power is out of proportion. In addition, Issho does not need to touch the objects he wants to levitate at all, unlike Shiki's Fuwa Fuwa no Mi. However, Zushi Zushi no Mi has weaknesses other than those common to Devil Fruits. For one thing, it turns out that its user's gravity-related powers can be disrupted if the opponent directly attacks Fujitori. This is precisely what Roronoa Zoro had using a remote notch to escape the gravitational pin in which Fujitora had trapped him. On the other hand, both people and objects that are strong enough to hold their position are able to withstand the gravity exerted by this Devil Fruit. 👿
Arme: Shikomizue
The wooden cane Admiral Fujitori moves with is not a simple cane, it actually conceals a sword. This kind of weapon is what is called in the Land of the Rising Sun a Shikomizue, which literally means a sword cane.. Issho uses this weapon in connection with his mysterious abilities related to his Devil Fruit. Even if this link between his Shikomizue and his powers has not yet been clarified to this day, we know that the weapon allows Issho to manifest a strange force. In addition, Fujitori's level as a fencer 🤺 has not yet been revealed but it can be argued that he must be an expert, despite being blind. Indeed, even if his blindness forces him to use this cane to move when he is not fighting, this infirmity does not handicap him in any way when he faces opponents.
Issho history
Admiral Fujitora's past has yet to be revealed other than the fact that at some point in his life he made the decision to deprive himself of his sight. 👁️ According to his own words, this choice was motivated by his disappointment and disgust with evil as well as the corruption that reigns in this world. During the implementation of the World Military Project during the ellipse, Fujitora as well as his colleague Ryokugyû were both elevated to the rank of Admiral. It is also during this period that we discover that Issho's ultimate goal to enter the Navy is to put an end to the system of the 7 Captain Corsairs because he does not believe in it. It also seems that it was during this period that Admiral Issho first met Smoker, the White Hunter. We then find Fujitora in Dressrosa when he was sent there by his superior Akainu who tasked him with dealing with the problem Luffy and Law who made an alliance. Instead of settling the matter as quickly as he should in obedience to his Commander-in-Chief, Fujitora instead starts looking for a casino 🎰 then playing roulette in a restaurant in Acacia town. This is where he meets Monkey D. Luffywhile he defends him against subordinates of Doflamingo who scam him by taking advantage of his blindness. This is also when the Admiral demonstrates the power of his Devil Fruit when he takes revenge on the crooks who abused him after thanking Luffy for his frankness. After unsheathing a sword from his cane, he creates a large black hole in the restaurant's floor and lures his con artists into it to knock them all down. Everyone who witnessed the scene was in awe of its power and might. Luffy even asks him his identity, which he refuses to reveal to her while laughing and leaving the restaurant.
After that, Issho heads with his whole fleet to the uninhabited island 🏝️ of Green Bit north of Dressrosa where Trafalgar D. Law and Doflamingo have set up a meeting for the exchange of scientist Caesar Clown. After Law admitted that he had entered into an alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates, Admiral Fujitora loudly declared that his status as Grand Corsair had now been revoked. He then began to attack it by summoning gigantic meteorites which crashed to the ground creating a huge crater. Fortunately, Law was able to survive unscathed, as were everyone present. Subsequently, Issho succeeded in immobilizing Law thanks to his mastery of gravity, but the latter managed to escape by taking advantage of which was in the area. The Admiral and Doflamingo then started chasing the Mugiwara who were on board their ship. 🚢 It was there that he showed another of his Devil Fruit's powers by flying his warships in pursuit of the Thousand Sunny. Arriving on the Dressrosa riverside, Issho witnesses Law's "death" after Doflamingo shot him three times in the chest. Subsequently, he will help pirates and gladiators protect the population of Dressrosa against Doflamingo's plan and his Operation Birdcage.. He will even call in the Armament Haki to attempt to stop the Birdcage and give Luffy time to defeat the Celestial Demon. After the Straw Hat Pirate defeated Doflamingo, Issho knelt before King Riku and his citizens to publicly ask their forgiveness for Doflamingo's hideous deeds and the non-intervention of the World Government. His act earned him the wrath ⚡ of his superior who forced him to bring back the heads of Luffy and Law. It was after this that Luffy and Issho clashed until the latter was stopped by the inhabitants of Dressrosa wanting to protect Luffy and his companions. He then understood that they had only good intentions and protected them against pirates in the ankle with Doflamingo.

i have a cold, so to distract myself from my headache i made this
Nami swears in Swedish and the crew has since then picked up some of the language, but only words and no grammar so no one can actually speak it.
It drives her up the wall so much that eventually she gives in and gives them lessons.
“HELVETES JÄVLA FAN-”
She dropped a book on her toe.
Sanji + French = Zoros imminent doom
How,, can a human being make those sounds???
Law has pale patches on his skin that are an aftermath of Amber Lead.
So many people have mistaken it for vitiligo, but since the majority of the world still thinks that Amber Lead was contagious, Law doesn’t mind the misunderstandings.
The majority of pirates are almost always wearing some kind of jewellery, mostly in the form of earrings or necklaces.
It’s rumoured that Fire Fist Ace has a tongue piercing.
Only the Whitebeard Pirates know for sure if that is true or not.
Usopp and Sanji are responsible for the haircuts on the Sunny.
You may think that Franky should be one of them, but he can’t be trusted with a pair of scissors close to anyone’s head but his own.
He is killer at braids and hairstyles that doesn’t require sharp objects though, along with Usopp.
Nami and Vivi regularly talk on the Den Den, to keep in contact. They also write letters to each other.
They are in a long distance relationship!
Nami has promised to take her out to sea with her someday and be Gay Pirates Together (+ the crew.)
Speaking of Nami, she gets the most tattoos of the crew. I’m leaving it to your imagination to figure out how she looked after the timeskip.
Zoros ankle scars get questions and stares whenever they go to the beach
He either doesn’t answer, or gives an answer that just leaves you with more questions.
“I don’t like wax after that whole debacle.”
Each and every Heart Pirate has a tattoo somewhere on their body.
Penguins tattoo, for instance, is like Aangs arrows, except black, and twisting around his limbs like a snake, ending at his neck, and without the arrowed ends.
Shit I forgot about Bepo. Uuh, he is physically incapable of getting a tattoo, so he’s actually the odd one out in that aspect.
Both Kidd and Killer sound like extras from the movie “Brave”.
Edward Newgate Speaks With An English Accent And Nothing Can Convince Me Otherwise.
I mean “Newgate”??? Have you ever heard anything more,,english???
Thatchs’ full name was Edward Thatch. He started introducing himself with only his last name after joining the Whitebeard Pirates.
He definitely got teased for it.
Some people are genuinely worried about Marco flying south whenever they land at a winter island.
Ace could can play the fiddle.
The crew discovered this about a week before him joining them.
Marco is bisexual and so was is Thatch.
Vista can and will pull out flowers from his sleeves by the dozen just to startle you.
Haruta is Top Prankster on the Moby Dick.
April is a terrifying month for each and every Whitebeard Pirate.
Whenever Nami sees a rowan tree with a lot of berries, she will instantly know that the next island they stop at will be a winter island ( a Swedish children’s rhyme goes like this: Det blir extra kallt när vintern är här, om rönnen har ovanligt rikligt med bär!” It basically means that if a rowan tree has a lot of berries, the following winter will be unusually cold.)
Chopper, in his usual form without the hat and not counting the horns, is exactly 4.03 feet (123cm) tall after the timeskip.
Kidd doesn’t drink coffee for health reasons, while both Marco and Law, two Actual Doctors, cannot function without at least three cups of coffee in the morning.
There is a type of mermaid that can keep growing until they are approximately the size of two navy battleships.
These mermaids are later found to actually not be another type of mermaid at all, but are in reality a whole Other Species distantly related to the sea kings.
If the Strawhats ever meet one Luffy is immediately dead set on making them join the crew.
I say them because not only are there males as well as females, but they travel in pods!
If Ace had lived, he and Nami would have become great friends, partly thanks to their mutual love of felines.
Robin loves birds, and is fascinated by Marcos and Pells devilfruits.
Devilfruit users eyes do the cat thing where they glow when the light hits them right.
Ace and Marco look terrifying whenever they use their powers in the dark.
An incredible number of pirates are superstitious
The scale looks like this: Usopp—Ace—Luffy.
In other words: This sure that ghosts exist—I don’t really believe it, but I respect it—That’s complete and utter bullshit.
The wall above Usopps’ bunk in the guys bedroom on the Sunny is covered in his artwork.
Jinbe took one look at the Strawhat crew and thought, “These children need an uncle,” and then became the Best Uncle To Have Ever Graced The Five Seas.
In a modern au I personally think that Rouge would have been from either Quebec or somewhere in France,,,so.
All I want to say is that the thought of Ace speaking and knowing french is,,,*chefs kiss*
And that’s it.
